00:00:00.000 the evening that you met President Trump, he was in the ballroom, there's hundreds of people there,
00:00:04.320 everyone wants to talk to the President. And he, President Trump walked into the room, this is
00:00:09.280 according to the recounting by Rick Bell, and he said that President Trump beelined to you,
00:00:14.460 that he was so keen and so interested in talking to him, pleased to meet you, that he went right
00:00:19.520 to you. And I, you know, I think that that really shows Premier how serious he is about trying to
00:00:26.000 improve the relationships with Canada and trying to make a deal with us? Well, I had let a few
00:00:32.540 members of the administration know that I was going to be there. And so they put in a word to
00:00:37.340 let the president know. And I was pleased that he was able to come over and share a few words.
00:00:42.560 What I wanted to know, because we had heard a lot of discussion in the press about, I think he had
00:00:50.780 just recently said, we don't need Canada. We don't need your autos. We don't need your timber. We
00:00:55.040 don't need your oil and gas. And I thought, well, is that really true? Does he really not want our
00:00:59.420 oil and gas? And I wanted to get to the bottom of whether or not that was the case. And so I asked
00:01:04.160 him pretty frankly, do you want to buy more oil and gas from Canada? And he told me yes. So that
00:01:08.940 says to me that whatever our current issues that we have with the president are, I think that we
00:01:14.260 can begin the discussion once again of how Canada can assist with American energy dominance.
