00:08:32.200 the security and intelligence threats to election task force at site revealed it had detected the

00:08:38.360 state-backed Chinese WeChat platforms had been attempted to influence the Chinese diaspora's view of

00:08:44.120 Carney. Attempts included amplifying his experience and credentials. The information operation was launched

00:08:50.120 by Yuli Yuman, WeChat's most popular news account. Intelligence reporting links Yuli to the Communist Party

00:08:57.640 in China and their Central Political and Legal Affairs Commission. This according to Lori Ann Kempton,

00:09:03.480 who is the Assistant Secretary for the Privy Council's Office Communication during a press conference on

00:09:10.040 Monday. And we have a little bit of that press conference. Here is what it looked like, folks.

00:09:14.920 We are aware of an information operation targeting the 45th general election

00:09:19.720 on the social media platform WeChat. The information operation was launched by Yuli Yuman, WeChat's most

00:09:27.080 popular news account. Intelligence reporting links the Yuli Yuman account to the PRC Chinese Communist Party

00:09:35.400 Central Political and Legal Affairs Commission. The content of this information operation contains story

00:09:42.360 about the Prime Minister, Liberal Party of Canada leader, and candidate Indo-Pian Mark Carney.

00:09:50.600 This content has been amplified in a coordinated and inauthentic way.

00:09:55.880 This information operation had contrasting positive and negative narratives,

00:10:00.440 first amplifying Mr. Carney's stance with the United States, and then targeting his experience and credentials.

00:11:53.400 Chinese. That must mean that the Chinese don't like him and that he's standing up for Canada, right? 0.71

00:12:01.960 security official report, a Beijing linked online operation focused on Carney. Oh, it's just focusing

00:12:08.040 in on him. Nothing, nothing harmful, nothing to worry about here. Just, just targeting Carney and focus

00:12:14.120 on Carney. This is absolute nonsense. This is absolute nonsense. It's the opposite. It is targeting his

00:15:05.160 is the one that replaced Paul Chang. So he has an entire investigative report about this individual,

00:15:09.880 Peter Yuan, and how, surprise, surprise, he's also very much linked to the Chinese government,

00:15:16.120 working for an international school that the government of Canada has flagged and knows is

00:15:21.400 involved in election interference. Mark Carney cannot get away from the scandal because his party and his

00:15:27.160 government is so interlinked and intertwined with the communist regime. Folks, scary, scary stuff. Voting for Mark Carney is not an elbows-up vote to secure Canadian sovereignty. Quite the opposite.

00:15:37.880 He is obviously campaigning for deeper and deeper integration with the communist government in China.
