00:02:56.300 event itself go? Well, former Prime Minister Stephen Harper was there to give the introduction
00:03:02.120 for Pierre Polyev. Great to see this moment. Wonderful moment from the former Prime Minister
00:03:08.100 endorsing Pierre Polyev, saying, hey, both the candidates in this election used to work for me.
00:03:14.000 Mark Carney was the governor of the Bank of Canada under Stephen Harper. And Pierre Polyev was a junior

00:08:16.040 coordinated campaign by a Chinese Communist Party-backed news channel to promote coverage of
00:08:21.560 liberal leader Mark Carney. Amplified coverage of Carney includes posts identifying him as a
00:08:27.320 quote, rock star, unquote, and highlighting his pro-China views, of course. So on Monday,
00:08:32.200 the security and intelligence threats to election task force at site revealed it had detected the
00:08:38.360 state-backed Chinese WeChat platforms had been attempted to influence the Chinese diaspora's view of
00:08:44.120 Carney. Attempts included amplifying his experience and credentials. The information operation was launched
00:08:50.120 by Yuli Yuman, WeChat's most popular news account. Intelligence reporting links Yuli to the Communist Party
00:08:57.640 in China and their Central Political and Legal Affairs Commission. This according to Lori Ann Kempton,
00:09:03.480 who is the Assistant Secretary for the Privy Council's Office Communication during a press conference on
00:09:10.040 Monday. And we have a little bit of that press conference. Here is what it looked like, folks.
00:09:14.920 We are aware of an information operation targeting the 45th general election
00:09:19.720 on the social media platform WeChat. The information operation was launched by Yuli Yuman, WeChat's most
00:09:27.080 popular news account. Intelligence reporting links the Yuli Yuman account to the PRC Chinese Communist Party
00:09:35.400 Central Political and Legal Affairs Commission. The content of this information operation contains story
00:09:42.360 about the Prime Minister, Liberal Party of Canada leader, and candidate Indo-Pian Mark Carney.
00:09:50.600 This content has been amplified in a coordinated and inauthentic way.
00:09:55.880 This information operation had contrasting positive and negative narratives,
00:10:00.440 first amplifying Mr. Carney's stance with the United States, and then targeting his experience and credentials.
00:10:06.440 Absolutely unbelievable. We have a Canadian intelligence officer admitting that this is happening in the
00:10:14.840 middle of our campaign. Why aren't we stopping it? Why isn't this front page across the country? We have a
00:10:20.600 foreign country and not a friendly neighbour and an ally like the United States, but an actual nefarious,
00:10:26.840 evil government that does unspeakable things, that has different interests than we do, different values
00:10:32.600 than we do. And they are out there promoting Mark Carney. Just think about that for a second, folks.

00:11:26.120 Chinese WeChat operation in Canada. He was targeted. He was targeted, folks.
00:11:31.320 Making it seem like he's somehow the victim. Well, it isn't just global news. CTV mimicking the same
00:11:36.920 language. Elections task force detects Chinese information operation targeting Carney. Okay.
00:11:44.120 So if you're just reading headlines out there, like many, many Canadians get their news by just
00:11:47.960 scanning the headlines, you would think, oh no, Mark Carney is being targeted in a campaign by the
00:11:53.400 Chinese. That must mean that the Chinese don't like him and that he's standing up for Canada, right?
00:11:58.360 That was what you would think if you were reading these headlines. Finally, the CBC
00:12:01.960 security official report, a Beijing linked online operation focused on Carney. Oh, it's just focusing
00:12:08.040 in on him. Nothing, nothing harmful, nothing to worry about here. Just, just targeting Carney and focus
00:12:14.120 on Carney. This is absolute nonsense. This is absolute nonsense. It's the opposite. It is targeting his
00:12:19.000 opponents, right? During the 2021 campaign, we know a WeChat, a similar WeChat campaign was out there
00:12:24.520 targeting Aaron O'Toole in a negative way. They were targeting him because they were attacking him
00:12:29.400 because they didn't want Aaron O'Toole to win. They wanted Trudeau to win because the Chinese Communist
00:12:33.640 Party likes liberals in Canada. They want the liberals in office and the media is an absolute disgrace and
00:12:40.040 an embarrassment pretending that somehow this is targeting Carney. No, it is not. It is benefiting him.
00:12:45.400 It is, if anything, it's targeting the conservatives because they don't want a conservative government.
00:12:49.400 They know a conservative government would be strong for Canada, would have zero tolerance for this kind of
00:12:53.640 nonsense, would make sure that China was kicked out, not able to interfere in our elections.

00:13:16.520 remember Paul Chang, the candidate out in Unionville, Markham that got booted. Finally, he stepped down
00:13:22.760 after it was revealed that he was trying to turn in his conservative opponent for a bounty put out by
00:13:27.880 the communist regime in China. Well, he stepped down after, of course, Mark Carney wanted to keep
00:13:32.840 him in. Mark Carney said that he had apologized and Carney was fine with that. Well, Chang himself
00:13:37.480 decided to leave under pressure. And to nobody's surprise whatsoever, he has been replaced with another
00:13:45.080 hard-line defender of the communist Chinese government, liberal candidate Peter Yang, was replaced.
00:13:52.280 And video surfaced very, very quickly of him in uniform. He's a former Canadian police officer,
00:13:59.880 retired executive, and he is in his Canadian police uniform singing Chinese propaganda. Chinese
00:14:07.640 propaganda. My Chinese heart wearing full Canadian police regalia. Such an embarrassment. This is what that
00:14:14.680 looked like.
00:14:28.680 I mean, if you don't cringe seeing that, watching someone in a Canadian police uniform praising and
00:14:36.920 singing to the Chinese communist government. I mean, this is just, this just shows you folks how far our
00:14:43.240 country has gone, how low we've gone under the liberal government. Well, our friend Sam Cooper over at the
00:14:49.560 Bureau has done some digging and has a remarkable story over there. The retired Toronto police executive
00:14:57.000 who joined Chinese international school, which was flagged in Canada's election interference inquiry. He
00:15:05.160 is the one that replaced Paul Chang. So he has an entire investigative report about this individual,
00:15:09.880 Peter Yuan, and how, surprise, surprise, he's also very much linked to the Chinese government,
00:15:16.120 working for an international school that the government of Canada has flagged and knows is
00:15:21.400 involved in election interference. Mark Carney cannot get away from the scandal because his party and his
00:15:27.160 government is so interlinked and intertwined with the communist regime. Folks, scary, scary stuff. Voting for Mark Carney is not an elbows-up vote to secure Canadian sovereignty. Quite the opposite.
00:15:37.880 He is obviously campaigning for deeper and deeper integration with the communist government in China.
00:15:45.880 This should be, again, the biggest story in the country, but rather than that, the legacy media wants to continue to cover for him. It is such a disgrace. All the more reason why we need to organize. We need to do everything we can to make sure that there is a change in government on April 28th. It is so important, folks.
