00:01:09.000 Canada's position, as stated by Health Minister Patty Haddu, seems to be some level of praise for the government of the People's Republic of China, for its containment efforts.
00:01:23.000 What she totally ignores in any of this is that when China realized the contagious potential of the virus epidemic in Wuhan,
00:01:33.000 they closed all domestic air travel from Wuhan.
00:01:36.000 They didn't want the virus in Beijing or Shanghai.
00:01:40.000 But they didn't close international air travel from Wuhan.
00:01:44.000 It is estimated that more than 4 million people flew out of Wuhan in the ensuing few weeks for all manner of global destinations,

00:01:58.000 They had forcible quarantining of their own citizens, but didn't seem to care about what the coronavirus did to the rest of the world.

00:03:41.000 an investigation, I might add, that was killed by the PMO of Jean Chrétien.

00:03:52.000 and Justin Trudeau does not seem predisposed to upset the apple cart.
00:03:57.000 Indeed, he has been lobbying national leaders around the world in the attempt to get his vanity seat on the UN Security Council,

00:04:09.000 He is so prepared to spare no effort and no amount of taxpayer money in that quest.

00:04:37.000 But Trudeau wants his vanity seat so badly, so even though China could have contained the virus,
00:04:45.000 had they only shut down international flights at the same time as they closed domestic trouble,
