00:00:26.220 ridings. I want to talk about one that we just highlighted this week, which is Milton East and

00:00:32.100 Halton Hills South. So you wrote that this is the sort of seat the Conservatives have to win

00:00:37.060 in order to form government. It's also critical for the Liberals to hold if they expect to retain

00:00:43.880 power. So I hope I'm not putting you on the spot too much here, David, but I'm hoping you can help

00:00:49.180 us understand this riding of Milton East, Halton Hills. It's a suburban Toronto. I think it's

00:00:56.040 it's considered suburban or ex-urban, just part of the GTA or just outside of it. And I'm hoping

00:01:01.280 you can sort of walk us through why you think this is one of the most important ridings to watch in

00:01:06.480 the election. I think it's demographically very interesting to watch. I think you have a lot of

00:01:12.160 young families in this riding specifically. It's also on the doorstep of many other GTA ridings,

00:01:17.220 like it's firmly within Halton region, which is on the doorstep of Mississauga and Peel. I think

00:01:22.960 that you have very interesting ethnic communities in there as well um and sort of bridging that

00:01:28.420 urban world divide because when you have communities like georgetown and other small

00:01:32.580 ones on the fringe you're getting out to uh shooting down towards like kitchener area as

00:01:37.980 an example of where this kind of is projecting and out towards uh like michael chong's uh kind

00:01:44.420 of fortress that he's built in the uh from the blue perspective it's seen as a natural stepping

00:01:49.500 point either way. If you're going into the GTA or coming out, it's kind of a very significant

00:01:54.620 hurdle that both parties need to get over if they wish to actually make progress in the other

00:01:58.960 riding surrounding numbers.
