00:00:00.000 So what we've got here is a guy, I believe, who goes by the name of Stuart Reynolds.
00:00:04.660 He calls himself a comedian.
00:00:06.320 I don't think he fits the bill of a comedian, which is supposed to make us laugh, Candace.
00:00:10.360 But nonetheless, he considers himself to be a comedian.
00:00:13.180 And he put out this video with the intention of making us laugh.
00:00:16.260 And really, it's just quite embarrassing and cringey.
00:00:20.080 And he's trying to, I guess, start the initiative of the left to take back the Canadian flag.
00:00:25.600 As you said, let's watch this clip and then we can pretend or try to laugh.
00:00:30.000 At this horrible video.
00:00:31.300 But let's watch this clip.
00:00:35.260 Do you want to fly the Canadian flag, but don't want people to think that you're a hot tub in the streets and a freak in the tweets?
00:00:41.880 Don't worry.
00:00:43.060 Now, there's a solution.
00:00:45.540 Just fly the flag.
00:00:47.160 Canada doesn't get everything right, but we're trying.
00:00:49.900 The Venn diagram of being Canadian and done by choice does have some overlap.
00:00:54.300 But thankfully, it's not just two circles on top of each other.
00:00:57.200 So if you want to fly the Maple Leaf, go right ahead. 0.99
00:01:00.800 We know you're not a jerk, eh? 0.99
00:01:01.920 So I just will say this. 0.99
00:01:05.300 There's nothing more obvious than a fake A in a video.
00:01:09.920 You cannot fake that.
00:01:11.440 You can't pretend to say A because it's so obvious that you're just trying really hard.
00:01:16.640 And it's just a really sad attempt, Candice, at trying to, I guess, kickstart this retaking over of the Canadian flag.
00:01:24.860 I think that's why most people don't laugh at leftists.
00:01:27.200 It's impossible for them to be funny.
00:01:30.640 Well, it's usually them just hitting you over the head with their political view, as you pointed out on Ray showed a few times that comedy on the left is basically just them telling you their pronouns and demanding that you adhere to their worldview.
00:01:42.900 But this was like had all the hallmarks of like cheesy Canadiana, like a 1990s beer commercial or something like that.
00:01:50.860 I didn't really get the punchline.
00:01:52.480 But look, I think Canada Day or Dominion Day, as I like to call it, should be an apolitical holiday.
00:01:58.160 We should all put our political differences aside and try to find some unity in our country, in our great country, celebrate the important things that we've done and the contributions and not dwell on the sort of political differences that we've had here.
00:02:11.640 I guess this sort of does that, although he takes so many hits at people who he disagrees with, who he calls done by choice.
00:02:18.620 So I guess, you know, it's better than them canceling Canada Day, but I don't know how much better.
00:02:27.200 Of course, the CBC didn't like this video either.
00:02:32.600 One of their reporters over in London tweeted a video and just kind of reiterated the whole leftist nonsense about how flying the Canadian flag is complicated.
00:02:42.580 The convoy protests used the flag and because of that, you know, the flag is problematic and racist and all the same nonsense that we've been hearing over and over again for the last year or so, Harrison.
00:02:58.220 So they really can't help it, even when you have someone on the left trying to say, let's take the flag back and let's all be patriotic.
00:03:04.580 You still have the annoying host of CBC London's morning show, you know, lecturing us about historical systemic racism or whatever.
00:03:15.160 And how, you know, we just can't celebrate Canada because some bad things happened a couple hundred years ago or something like that.
00:03:22.500 And therefore, we should all just feel guilty forever and be punished for the sins of our of our grandparents or or not or not even our grandparents.
00:03:29.780 If we are the children of immigrants, people who chose to come to this country, like they can't get past their collectivized guilt and identity politics.
00:03:38.080 They're just obsessed with. So no surprises back again for Canada Day this year.
00:03:42.400 Yeah. And, you know, I think the best thing you can do to really get under the skin of Justin Trudeau, Candace and people like the CBC journalist is to be unifying behind the flag.
00:03:51.900 Be proud of Canada and hug your neighbor regardless of their politics. That's what they don't want you to do.
00:03:57.680 That's what Trudeau doesn't want you to do. Instead, he wants to politicize Canada Day.
00:04:01.040 And I think the best thing we can all do is be proud of our country, put our politics aside and just for, you know, take a day to be be happy to be in one of the one of I still believe to be one of the greatest countries on Earth.
00:04:13.120 And and that, I think, is the best way to stick it to people like Justin Trudeau and those that want to try and divide us with the CBC.
00:04:21.900 Thank you.
