00:00:00.000 Hi, I'm Candace Malcolm and this is the Candace Malcolm Show News Update.
00:00:06.100 Today is Tuesday, February 10th, 2026 and here are the top stories of the day.
00:00:11.260 We have a Conservative Party of Canada's own Unity Mitford who is attempting to freelance
00:00:15.640 negotiations with the American President right now.
00:00:18.860 A Liberal MP calls Conservative MP Jamil Giovanni a Nazi collaborator in the House of Commons
00:00:24.820 on Monday after Giovanni's successful trip to Washington, D.C. where he met with top Trump
00:00:30.200 officials.
00:00:30.960 The Gordie Howe Bridge is scheduled to open in early 2026 and from where I stand now it
00:00:35.800 looks ready to roll so seemingly any day now but the President came in and said not so fast.
00:00:41.340 President Donald Trump calls for immediate negotiations with Canada threatening to prevent
00:00:46.280 a bridge from Ontario to Michigan from being opened until quote Canada fully compensates
00:00:51.920 the U.S. for everything America has given it.
00:00:54.820 I believe that this would send a message to non-citizens who now accurately believe that 1.00
00:00:59.940 they commit serious crimes and avoid deportation by abusing Canada's asylum system.
00:01:05.140 The Conservatives are calling for asylum seekers and non-citizens to be barred from Canada if
00:01:10.740 they are convicted of serious crimes and recommends barring those who have active serious criminal
00:01:16.340 charges before the courts.
00:01:17.920 And finally meet Canada's Visa King, a Brampton-based immigration consultant going viral online while
00:01:29.200 claiming to be taking advantage of Canada's weak immigration system.
00:01:33.220 Thank you so much for tuning in.
00:01:36.240 Let's get right to the news.
00:01:37.340 Prime Minister Mark Carney is facing calls to apologize after one of his Liberal MPs, John
00:01:42.460 Paul Danko, compared Conservative MP Jamil Javani to a notorious Nazi collaborator.
00:01:49.300 Why?
00:01:49.640 Because Javani was in Washington, D.C. over the weekend attempting to smooth over trade relations
00:01:54.520 with the United States.
00:01:55.900 A U.S. is hostile government, deliberate destruction of global allegiances and the stability that
00:02:03.480 our country has relied on.
00:02:05.280 We have a Conservative Party of Canada's own, Unity Mitford, who is attempting to freelance
00:02:09.660 negotiations with the American president right now.
00:02:13.480 There's separatist movements.
00:02:15.080 What a point of order.
00:02:16.020 So while trade relations between the two countries remains rocky at best, the Liberals have now
00:02:21.340 started comparing sitting President Donald Trump to the Nazis and accusing Conservatives
00:02:28.460 who have friendships and relationships with Americans, like Jamil Javani with his personal
00:02:33.440 friendship with J.D. Vance, of being Nazi collaborators.
00:02:37.720 Unity Mitford was a British fascist who had a close personal friendship with Adolf Hitler and
00:02:43.440 openly advocated for Nazi ideas and anti-Semitism in the U.K. during the Second World War.
00:02:50.080 Unbelievable stuff.
00:02:50.920 Juno News wrote about this story, and this MP, John Paldanko, actually retweeted our story.
00:02:56.100 So he's doubling down.
00:02:57.200 He's proud of the fact that he is accusing Conservatives of being Nazi collaborators, which 0.85
00:03:02.360 means that he's accusing President Trump of being a Nazi.
00:03:05.280 It's really unbelievable.
00:03:06.480 This isn't the first time Liberals have accused Conservatives of being Nazis.
00:03:09.580 Remember when Prime Minister Justin Trudeau accused Conservative MP Melissa Lansman, who
00:03:14.200 herself is a Jew.
00:03:15.700 She's Jewish-Canadian.
00:03:16.540 She's the descendant of Holocaust survivors.
00:03:20.100 And Trudeau accused her—oh, this was so gross—of standing with those waving the swastika.
00:03:25.480 Why?
00:03:25.720 Because they were standing with truckers criticizing government overreach during the Freedom Convoy.
00:03:29.900 Let's play that clip.
00:03:30.480 So, Mr. Speaker, when did the Prime Minister lose his way?
00:03:34.520 When did it happen?
00:03:36.040 The Right Honourable Prime Minister.
00:03:39.780 Mr. Speaker, Conservative Party members can stand with people who wave swastikas.
00:03:46.120 They can stand with people who wave the Confederate flag.
00:03:49.400 And again, this is a long list.
00:03:51.620 So, what about when Liberal MP Yara Sachs accused the Freedom Convoy demonstrators of using the
00:03:57.260 term honk-honk as a code word for Heil Hitler? 0.96
00:04:01.500 These people are so deranged.
00:04:02.780 They really, really think that anything related to freedom and to Trump is actually, what, 0.87
00:04:09.160 fascism?
00:04:09.780 And Hitler? 0.99
00:04:10.200 So deranged. 0.93
00:04:11.100 Again, here's that clip.
00:04:12.060 How much vitriol do we have to see of honk-honk, which is an acronym for Hail Hitler, do we
00:04:19.880 need to see by these protesters on social media?
00:04:23.900 And yes, this is the party who actually invited a real Nazi collaborator into the House of Commons
00:04:30.120 and whose former deputy leader, Chrystia Freeland, posed with a banner representing pro-Nazi
00:04:35.840 Ukrainian groups during the Second World War.
00:04:37.740 Guys, guys, I'm talking to liberals here.
00:04:39.980 I'm talking to Canadians who buy into this stuff.
00:04:42.060 Stop calling people you disagree with Nazis.
00:04:45.180 Stop telling people.
00:04:46.720 Stop saying that President Trump is a Nazi or that he's like Hitler.
00:04:49.900 He isn't one.
00:04:50.960 And he actually notices when Canadians do this kind of thing. 0.99
00:04:53.640 In fact, the entire first trade debacle and strained relationship dates back to Trump's
00:04:58.900 first term in office when then-Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his deputy, Chrystia Freeland,
00:05:03.720 would go out of their way to bash Trump. 0.68
00:05:05.420 They called him a bully.
00:05:06.480 Chrystia Freeland gave a speech calling him an authoritarian in Washington, D.C., accepting
00:05:11.400 an award from Foreign Policy magazine.
00:05:13.140 He noticed.
00:05:14.300 And that is when he started with the whole trade, ripping up NAFTA, starting again.
00:05:19.840 And that's when he went down that whole path of calling Canada the 51st state.
00:05:23.980 Stop calling them Nazis.
00:05:25.400 Just stop.
00:05:26.140 This is not a path Canada should go down.
00:05:28.500 All right, folks, coming up, conservatives call for non-citizens, including asylum seekers
00:05:32.740 who've been charged with serious crimes to be deported and borrowed from Canada.
00:05:37.120 Yes, finally.
00:05:38.140 And we're going to introduce you to a Brampton immigration consultant who calls himself the
00:05:41.940 visa king and has gotten rich by exploiting Canada's immigration system.
00:05:45.840 But first, President Trump has called for immediate negotiations with Canada over a bridge
00:05:50.880 from Windsor, Ontario to Detroit, Michigan that was expected to open later this year,
00:05:55.840 and which cost has been entirely borne by Canadian taxpayers.
00:06:00.500 So in a post on True Social on Monday afternoon, Trump said he would halt the bridge's completion,
00:06:05.940 listing Ontario's ban on American boots, Carney's recent trip to China, and Canada's longstanding
00:06:10.740 tariff on agriculture as his grievances.
00:06:13.500 He called for immediate negotiations with Canada.
00:06:15.860 And he said that the United States should own at least half of the bridge.
00:06:20.200 Well, maybe they should pay for half the bridge then.
00:06:22.080 Canadians paid for it entirely.
00:06:23.580 And Trump stated that revenues generated because of the U.S. market will be astronomical.
00:06:29.360 Well, negotiations did start immediately.
00:06:32.020 Carney, Prime Minister Mark Carney told reporters in Ottawa that he has had a positive conversation
00:06:36.820 with Trump over the phone, by the bridge.
00:06:39.220 Hey, good news, guys.
00:06:40.300 Carney is actually, Trump is actually taking Carney's calls, unlike before.
00:06:43.500 The two of them are actually talking.
00:06:44.640 So that's good news.
00:06:45.620 Apparently, they, with the help of the U.S. ambassador from Michigan, they're, quote,
00:06:50.400 smoothing things over.
00:06:51.920 We discussed the bridge.
00:06:53.400 I explained that Canada, of course, paid for the construction of the bridge, over $4 billion,
00:06:59.260 that the ownership is shared between the state of Michigan and the government of Canada,
00:07:04.300 and that in the construction of the bridge, obviously, there's Canadian steel, Canadian workers,
00:07:10.400 but also U.S. steel, U.S. workers that are involved.
00:07:13.900 This is a great example of cooperation between our countries.
00:07:16.860 Look forward to it opening.
00:07:18.100 And what is particularly important, of course, is the commerce and the tourism and the voyages
00:07:25.120 of Canadians and Americans that will go across that bridge.
00:07:28.560 The Gordie Howe International Bridge was estimated to cost a total of $5.7 billion, again, paid
00:07:34.380 for by UNI, the Canadian taxpayer, and it began construction in 2018.
00:07:38.440 According to Trump, the bridge was built as a failure of President Barack Obama, noting
00:07:44.120 that, quote, virtually no U.S. content was used to make the bridge.
00:07:47.540 And because Canada owns the entire thing and Obama gave Canada a waiver, all trade on the
00:07:52.560 bridge skirts the Buy America First Act, as according to President Trump.

00:08:45.120 All right, folks, Conservatives are introducing a motion to ban non-citizens convicted of serious
00:08:52.380 crimes from making refugee claims to prevent criminals from abusing Canada's immigration
00:08:56.500 system, skirting accountability.
00:08:59.200 It's about time.
00:08:59.900 It's actually kind of surprising that a rule like this isn't already in the books.
00:09:03.140 It just seems so obvious.
00:09:04.720 Conservative leader Pierre Polly have posted on social media Monday that asylum seekers and
00:09:09.080 non-citizens convicted of serious crimes must be barred from Canada and deported.
00:09:15.620 Absolutely.
00:09:16.440 Immigration critic Michelle Rumpel-Garner noted that Conservatives tried to propose changes
00:09:21.140 to Liberal legislation back in November, which would have introduced a similar policy and
00:09:26.260 barring and banning serious criminals from Canada.
00:09:29.840 That's why last November, Conservatives proposed an amendment to Bill C-12, which would have updated
00:09:36.040 the Immigration Refugee Protection Act to bar asylum claims from being made by those who have been
00:09:41.600 convicted of serious crimes in Canada.
00:09:44.260 This was a common sense change that would have prevented abuse of Canada's asylum system
00:09:48.920 and deterred non-citizens from avoiding deportation after committing serious crimes.
00:09:54.940 This amendment was unfortunately rejected by the Liberals.
00:09:57.780 This comes after Conservative delegates at the National Convention approved a policy on swift
00:10:02.920 deportation and permanent re-entry ban on non-citizens convicted of serious offenses.
00:10:08.660 76% of Conservative members voted for this.
00:10:11.300 This is such obvious legislation.
00:10:12.800 Again, it's about time.
00:10:13.960 Good job on this.
00:10:15.440 Pierre Polly and the Conservatives, you need to get stronger on immigration if you want to
00:10:18.520 have a serious chance of forming government.
00:10:20.620 With 97% support, the party backed stronger immigration rules, asylum reforms, and policies
00:10:26.960 reflecting Canada's values and priorities.
00:10:30.140 Really, this is a policy that all Canadians can get behind.
00:10:33.020 And I think that if the Conservatives want to win the next election and form government,
00:10:36.720 they have to get serious and get stronger on immigration.
00:10:40.340 This is a great first step.
00:10:41.800 Okay, finally, folks, a Brampton-based immigration consultant is under fire after calling himself
00:10:46.640 the Canadian Visa King on social media.
00:10:49.160 The consultant operating under the name Visa King Office Canada Chani Bai, the guy went
00:10:55.600 viral on X after posting a video boasting about how many visas he has claimed to secure.
00:11:07.440 The video shows the self-styled Visa King himself flashing what appears to be a $300,000 watch
00:11:14.640 amid an abundance of Canadian visas, presumably ones that he has acquired.
00:11:19.160 For his clients, the video sparked immediate backlash with critics questioning the legitimacy
00:11:23.720 of this business and calling for investigations into a man who appears to be doing much better
00:11:29.120 financially than almost all Canadians.
00:11:32.200 Juno News reached out to Canada Border Services Agency and Canada's Immigration Department to
00:11:37.560 find out if they were aware of the so-called Visa King of Brampton.
00:11:41.400 And if either agency had launched an investigation into his business, we have not heard back from
00:11:46.460 either agency, but we will let you know if we do.
00:11:49.660 Okay, folks, that's all the time we have for today.
00:11:51.620 Thank you so much for tuning in.
00:11:53.280 It is great to be with you.
00:11:54.340 I'm Candice Malcolm.
00:11:54.820 This is Candice Malcolm Show.
00:11:55.660 We'll be back again tomorrow.
00:11:56.420 Thank you and God bless.
