00:00:00.320 Let's talk about your strategy heading into the election.
00:00:03.440 It's about a year away from now, and when you look at ridings that the Conservatives
00:00:08.120 won in 2011, when Harper won a majority, and ridings that they then lost in 2015, particularly
00:00:16.800 around the Greater Toronto Area, a lot of those ridings were won by the Conservatives
00:00:21.480 with a margin of 2,000 votes.
00:00:24.520 You throw another party that's going after, in many respects, votes from the right.
00:00:29.680 How are you not just going to be a spoiler for Conservatives?
00:00:32.440 First of all, before I resigned from the Conservative Party of Canada and we formed the People's
00:00:39.680 Party of Canada, Andrew Scheer was at 31 percent in the poll and Justin Trudeau at 39.
00:00:45.720 So he wasn't winning at that time.
00:00:48.980 But what we want to do, we want to be sure to have Conservatives that will vote for us,
00:00:54.780 but also people who didn't vote at the last election.
00:00:57.620 30 percent of the population in the last election didn't bother to go to vote because they didn't
00:01:04.200 believe in politicians.
00:01:05.380 So we are doing politics differently, and I think that we'll be able to attract these people.
00:01:10.120 So having people coming from the Conservative Party of Canada, people coming from other parties
00:01:15.800 and people who didn't vote, we can build a kind of coalition and being an alternative.
00:01:21.620 And I'm saying to these people who want to be sure to get rid of Justin Trudeau, just watch
00:01:27.380 us.
00:01:28.380 You know, there's 10 percent of the population in Canada right now that they're looking to
00:01:33.820 vote for us.
00:01:35.820 So 10 percent, and we just started that.
00:01:38.920 In three, four, five months from now, I think we can grow from there.
00:01:42.700 We are the party who is having the momentum.
00:01:45.020 So I'm saying to them who are not sure, come with us and we'll...
00:01:49.340 Because if you vote for Andrew Scheer right now and Justin Trudeau, for me that's the same.
00:01:54.420 Andrew Scheer lost his conservative values.
00:01:57.700 You know, they believe in the Paris Accord.
00:02:00.820 They want to impose strict regulation for carbon emission.
00:02:05.460 Yes, they're against carbon tax, but, you know, they believe in that Paris Accord.
00:02:11.780 They don't want to touch immigration.
00:02:14.120 They don't want to abolish corporate welfare.
00:02:16.540 They don't believe in free markets for poultry, dairy, and eggs.
00:02:20.300 They want to protect 15,000 producers under the Cartel of Supply Management, and Canadians
00:02:27.000 are paying twice the price for that, artificial high prices for these products.
00:02:32.320 So they don't... what they're doing right now, they're looking at a poll, they're looking
00:02:36.540 at some survey, and they try to please everybody.
00:02:39.540 We don't do that.
00:02:41.180 If you like what we are saying, come and come with us and be a member and vote for us.
00:02:47.620 If you don't, it's okay, you know, there's other parties and you can vote for the other
00:02:51.500 ones, but we won't try to please everybody.
00:02:53.720 So that's a big difference between us and these two old parties, and I'm saying to them, if you
00:02:58.820 want to be sure to be Justin Trudeau and you're a real conservative, come with
00:03:02.280 us.
