Juno News - The facts about COVID-19 are rarely discussed

In this episode, I talk about why public health officials are so concerned about retail exposure to coronavirus, and why they shut down retail stores in order to prevent transmission of the virus to others. I also talk about how we need to be more responsible for our own public health and public safety.

00:01:57.280 generally the parameters of things that are actually uh being discussed by public health officials of

00:02:02.480 what leads to transmission of the virus and i wish we focused on that more because that would really

00:02:08.640 help us be able to talk about these restrictions much more i reported the news that in ontario the

00:02:14.880 number of cases that have been related back to retail confirmed to be related to retail are 0.1

00:02:20.880 percent of cases now there are a whole lot of unknowns out there so some of those unknowns may

00:02:25.280 indeed be in retail the number may actually be higher but that's actually the statistic on the

00:02:30.080 ontario government website 0.1 percent of cases and yet we have shut retail down why is this and i

00:02:37.360 feel like if we megaphoned much more the sort of 15 minutes six feet thing and so forth to really

00:02:43.360 encourage people to understand the things that are the higher transmission points the higher risk factors

00:02:48.720 maybe we'd actually be able to be a bit more responsible about these rules and restrictions

00:03:18.640 make for headlines and then people just get worried and they think that there's just panic to be had
