00:00:22.800 but right now they have to slum it by doing it on Zoom because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

00:00:28.580 But nevertheless the Davos Agenda this week aims to put forward the Great Reset Initiative.

00:00:35.400 It is according to the World Economic Forum the official launch of this Great Reset Initiative

00:00:40.880 that purports to create a new form of capitalism and take advantage of the fact that the pandemic

00:00:47.900 has just devastated the economy to rebuild the world in the image that people like Klaus Schwab

00:00:53.640 and the UN and all of these other organizations and individuals tend to want.

00:00:58.460 A world that they have not yet succeeded at putting into place without the pandemic.

00:01:03.980 The problem is that people on the left insist that it is a conspiracy theory to talk about

00:01:09.040 the Great Reset even though it's the name of a book and it has its own website and the World

00:01:14.560 Economic Forum is entirely proud of the Great Reset Initiative.

00:01:19.060 This is what came up when Justin Trudeau indicated that he wanted to partake in a little bit of a

00:01:24.100 reset. Remember this?

00:01:25.180 This pandemic has provided an opportunity for a reset. This is our chance to accelerate our

00:01:31.220 pre-pandemic efforts to reimagine economic systems that actually address global challenges like extreme

00:01:37.580 poverty, inequality, and climate change.

00:01:40.620 And then of course people like Conservative MP Pierre Polyev rightfully draw attention to it,

00:01:45.800 point out the similarities between Trudeau's reset rhetoric and Klaus Schwab's reset rhetoric,

00:01:50.660 and then Trudeau accuses them of peddling conspiracy theories.

00:01:54.980 The difficult moments we're in, it's nice to be able to try and find someone to blame,

00:02:00.340 something to point to, something to get mad at. I think we're seeing a lot of people fall prey to

00:02:05.480 disinformation and if Conservative MPs and others want to start talking about conspiracy theories,

00:02:12.640 well that's their choice.

00:02:13.860 Well if that's the case, the conspiracy has certainly thickened because this week,

00:02:18.960 Chrystia Freeland and Patti Hajdu are among the vaunted speakers of the World Economic Forum's Davos

00:02:25.380 agenda. Yes, the two Canadian cabinet ministers are actually speaking part of this week of events

00:02:30.280 that aims to launch the Great Reset Initiative. Chrystia Freeland is speaking about stakeholder

00:02:35.600 capitalism and of course Patti Hajdu is speaking about restoring cross-border mobility. This is the

00:02:41.340 woman who said that border closures are racist and don't work and then went all in on closing the 1.00

00:02:46.640 Canadian border, which will have been closed for coming up on a year quite soon, and then she's the

00:02:51.780 one that they want to speak about reopening the world, which I'll just let you take from that what

00:02:56.080 you may. But the problem is, while everyone who's everyone is speaking at the Davos agenda this week,

00:03:01.240 the keynote speaker, the person who kicked things off, was none other than Chairman Xi. Yes,

00:03:07.040 Xi Jinping spoke and actually tried to double down on the globalization and globalism that so many

00:03:14.160 people are critical of in the World Economic Forum's mandate. And he actually took aim at the arrogant

00:03:20.100 isolationism. He didn't call out Donald Trump by name, but you could tell it was an attack on Trump

00:03:25.020 and said that we need to go down even further the road of multilateralism and globalization and the

00:03:33.160 UN-led international order. And he called for adoption of the UN Agenda 2030 and other things

00:03:39.180 like this. And if you watch the whole speech, it's not something that really aligns with the China

00:03:46.160 that we all know. But there's something very revealing in this. China knows it's running the 0.92

00:03:52.800 world right now. China knows that this world order, which is not a conspiratorial term, that's actually

00:03:57.800 what it is here, is working to its benefit. The liberal capitalist free market world order

00:04:03.220 that was created by Western governments is something that China has been able to manipulate 0.79

00:04:07.660 and maneuver its way into a great deal of success with. So why would China want to mess with it? 0.98

00:04:13.580 China's investing right now about a trillion dollars in the so-called Belt and Road Initiative,

00:04:18.560 which is actually putting Chinese money at the forefront of development in, I think,

00:04:23.080 like close to 100 countries. It is China's world, and we are just tenants in it right now. 0.98

00:04:30.040 So when Klaus Schwab is heaping praise on Chairman Xi, and Chairman Xi is talking about the need to go

00:04:36.160 further down this road of international multilateralism, and then the Secretary General of the UN comes on

00:04:41.780 a couple hours later, Antonio Guterres, and says the same thing. And then later on in the week,

00:04:46.360 we've got Patty Hajdu and Chrystia Freeland that are all a part of this. How are Canadians supposed to

00:04:51.180 stand for being accused of spreading conspiracy theories to talk about the fact that there are

00:04:55.940 people that are trying to manipulate the world into this form of a reset? Hidden in plain sight

00:05:03.720 does not even begin to describe this. This thing that is actually a source of pride for some of

00:05:09.040 these international elites that we are being told we're not allowed to even talk about, let alone call

00:05:13.600 out. Now, this is not just some shadowy cabal of people that are sitting in some cave in the Swiss

00:05:19.920 Alps deciding how the world is supposed to be structured. These are people who actually have 0.99

00:05:24.360 leadership positions in countries around the world, like, for example, Chrystia Freeland and Patty

00:05:29.480 Hajdu, who are on the front lines of the government's response to COVID-19 and any number of other areas,

00:05:36.140 and these are the folks that they're hobnobbing with. And Chrystia Freeland knows these people very

00:05:40.780 well. One of her great claims to fame before she entered politics was literally writing the book

00:05:45.360 on the Davos elites, immersing herself in this world. And it's hard to imagine looking back that

00:05:51.900 this was done with a journalistic eye when now she is one of the very people that she was writing about

00:05:57.720 in her seminal work. And again, I mean, the topics that Hajdu and Freeland were talking about were

00:06:03.940 relatively banal. I mean, stakeholder capitalism, whoop-dee-doo, and cross-border mobility, which is

00:06:08.960 basically just saying, yes, we want to get the world moving again. I mean, there's nothing

00:06:12.320 controversial on the surface about those. But it's a part of them inserting themselves into this

00:06:18.320 agenda, it's literally called the Davos agenda, inserting themselves into this agenda that doesn't

00:06:23.880 actually care about the independence of nations, that actually rebukes it. The United Kingdom, by

00:06:30.360 leaving the European Union, actually struck a blow against this narrative that is unfolding, a world

00:06:36.660 beyond and moving past nation-states, a world in which every country's interests have to be

00:06:42.560 subservient to the global order, to the global interests. And it's not that we're heading towards

00:06:47.220 one world government, it's that individual countries are increasingly interested in surrendering

00:06:52.460 their own sovereignty to just do whatever the UN wants. And Justin Trudeau has these idealistic

00:06:58.740 delusions, these delusions that, by the way, were disproven going as far back as like Woodrow Wilson in the

00:07:04.380 early parts of the 20th century. And Justin Trudeau wants to just completely outsource all decision

00:07:10.180 making to the UN, to the World Health Organization. So no wonder Chairman Xi is happy with the world

00:07:16.680 order, because the world order is the one that gave the WHO that refused to actually look at China's

00:07:22.360 role in unleashing the COVID-19 pandemic. It's the world order that's allowing China to become such a 1.00

00:07:28.660 powerhouse. The world order that is happy when Chairman Xi gets up there and talks about the Paris

00:07:33.180 climate agreements, while on the other hand, actually committing genocide against Uyghur minorities

00:07:39.100 and having labor camps and state executions. That Chairman Xi was not criticized. But oh no,

00:07:45.680 no, no, to close Schwab, it's all great because yeah, he shares our goals of a world that's moving

00:07:50.100 forward, leaping into progress, because if there is a one world government, or even a de facto one world

00:07:55.460 government, it's going to be China that's at the helm of that. We are going to be covering this

00:08:01.120 more and more. In fact, in May, the World Economic Forum is planning to have an in-person summit

00:08:07.040 in Singapore, which they'd normally have again this week in Davos, but everything's a little bit

00:08:11.360 wacky this year. And I actually hope to be there covering this because we know that a lot of the

00:08:15.420 benefits to the world leaders that go to these things are not the official sessions, but all the

00:08:20.140 meetings that take place away from the cameras. And that's what we aim to see. So, but we're getting a

00:08:25.180 little bit of a taste of it by watching the Zoom version of the Davos agenda this week,
