Juno News - The Trudeau government pushes for a ＂green recovery＂

It has been nice to have a break from climate alarmism, but looks like the Feds may be jumping into it even more in the weeks to come. Get ready for a whole lot more climate activism from the guy at the top, Justin Trudeau.

00:00:00.000 Oops, looks like I spoke too soon. In a recent video, I said it has been so nice,

00:00:09.660 so refreshing and relaxing to be able to go a few months without the constant drumbeat,

00:00:15.280 the maddening din of climate alarmism. All of these politicians nonstop saying,

00:00:20.840 we have to do more, we have to do more, more green schemes, more carbon taxes, more this,

00:00:26.440 more that, taking to the streets, telling our kids that we got seven years or 12 years or whatever

00:00:31.200 it is until everything implodes, leading to the point where even the UN Intergovernmental Panel

00:00:36.320 on Climate Change has to tell people like Greta Thunberg, can you tone it down a little bit? 0.54

00:00:41.760 We think you're being a bit over the top. I argued we're in the pandemic and we're seeing people

00:00:46.860 realize this doesn't cut it anymore and it just doesn't fit with our real priorities. Climate

00:00:51.640 alarmism is on the wane. A lot of people I know agree with me. One person didn't get the memo

00:00:57.320 though, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. So he's prorogued Parliament, he's coming back with a new

00:01:02.520 throne speech in September and we're going to talk about a lot of this I think in the weeks ahead

00:01:06.740 because we've got to know, what's in this? What's he planning? Well, Christy Freeland, the new finance

00:01:12.080 minister, she said at a press conference, decarbonization is going to play a role in all

00:01:17.100 of that. Liberal sources have also told other media, telling them in leaks that this is going

00:01:23.120 to involve ambitious climate goals. What do you mean that Justin Trudeau was not ambitious as it

00:01:29.100 was? All of the things that he was pushing for? So gear up folks, get ready. You're going to see a

00:01:34.580 whole lot more climate activism happen from the guy at the top, from the Prime Minister's office and

00:01:40.040 that is what he will be announcing at the throne speech and pushing for. Are Canadians going to want

00:01:45.520 this? Are they going to be open to it? After we see now dealing with the pandemic, we're just worried

00:01:50.260 about, you know, our basic health, whether or not we can get back to work, whether the schools will

00:01:54.520 be open for the kids. How are people going to respond to all of this? And is Trudeau going to

00:01:59.560 actually tell us what it is in advance so we can actually have a proper national discussion about

00:02:05.080 these things? Are they going to triple, quadruple the carbon tax like a number of activists have been

00:02:09.700 asking for? What else are they going to propose? Billions of more dollars towards their

00:02:13.760 favored green companies as happened in Ontario? Are we going to see a further phasing out of the

00:02:19.320 oil sands that we know Justin Trudeau has been wanting to do with things like Bill C-69 and not

00:02:24.440 approving wholeheartedly a variety of pipeline projects? Those are the questions and Canadians

00:02:29.960 need to ask them more and more and they need to demand answers from the Liberal government because

00:02:35.200 boy, it was nice to have a break from climate alarmism, but looks like the Feds may be jumping 0.99

00:02:39.940 into it even more in the weeks to come.
