00:00:35.400 saying, all right, give us the vaccines. We're ready to get them into the arms of people. But
00:00:40.040 Justin Trudeau, well, he was the one to bring us all the doses, and uh-oh, he's failed in that one
00:00:45.880 job. How could he possibly do this? Because he was bragging just months ago, Canada has secured,
00:00:51.300 secured was the word he used, the most number of doses per capita in any country in the world. Is
00:00:56.640 it true? Yes, it's true. But what did secured mean? I mean, where were we in the timeline for all of
00:01:02.820 that, for the delivery? Were we just behind all these other countries? I mean, what good does it
00:01:07.020 do us if we've got more promised, but we're at the back of the line? Well, I think a lot of it had to do
00:01:13.140 with the fact, we know a lot of it had to do with the fact, that he put all his eggs in one basket

00:01:24.160 Pfizer? One of those other companies that is a household name for many people in North America.

00:01:55.820 what are Canadians thinking right now about the vaccines and what they've sort of been led to

00:02:17.820 people have been wrongly led to believe that you're going to get this vaccine and a bunch of people are
00:02:23.780 going to get it. We're all going to get it by the summer, what have you. And then coronavirus, gone.

00:02:37.280 was just saying the other day, coronavirus becoming an endemic illness, which means it's just around.
00:02:42.980 It's out and about in society for the rest of my natural life. Jeez, I don't think Canadians are
00:02:49.160 prepared for that. What does the vaccine mean? Then what the vaccine means is that hopefully you're
00:02:53.040 considerably reducing the hospitalizations of people in high-risk categories in their 50s and 60s
00:02:58.940 and 70s. Does it mean nobody's going to die of it anymore? No, we're not sure. I mean, it seems like
00:03:04.340 people in their 80s and 90s, what some experts are saying, could still unfortunately die of this,
00:03:08.500 even if they have the vaccine. So I think as much as you need to hold Justin Trudeau to aggressive
00:03:14.160 account on getting those doses here, I also think we don't want to continue to lead people to believe
00:03:19.820 that this is sort of a magic bullet, quick fix situation where suddenly, bam, coronavirus is gone
00:03:25.780 and disappeared. Because a lot of people, I worry that they believe that. And then as the weeks continue,
00:03:31.260 the months go by and they hear more and more stories about various vaccine efficacy or just
00:03:36.400 that all these people are saying endemic illness here to stay, I don't know if they're prepared for
00:03:41.580 that. And I think we should do a bit more to prepare them for what the reality of the situation
