00:00:00.000 bravo saskatchewan as of sunday july 11th that province is the latest to say no more provincial
00:00:12.020 covid restrictions done it's over no more mask mandate you don't have to wear masks in saskatchewan
00:00:17.980 anymore joining what alberta and bc did as of july 1st and we're seeing other jurisdictions
00:00:24.080 head in that direction uk prime minister boris johnson he's saying that the uk is going to be
00:00:28.380 pretty much doing that that they're going to transition to learning to live with covid
00:00:31.860 serious virus there are people have to take their precautions high-risk persons who don't want to
00:00:36.880 catch this virus but look vaccines are available you can get your double vaccination if you want to
00:00:41.520 get it now it's about personal choice it's about making smart decisions it's no longer about
00:00:45.900 government micromanaging every aspect of your lives we have learned so much we have come a long way
00:00:51.860 except apparently ontario you know it's great to see all of these provinces really evolve their
00:00:57.400 responses embrace the information embrace the science about everything working heading in the
00:01:03.340 right directions except ontario getting really frustrated for so many people to be living here
00:01:09.660 you can see i'm in my vehicle right now i've been driving around and i gotta tell you the last couple
00:01:13.500 days have been rather rainy in ontario and that's annoying because you know this is july and the summers
00:01:19.900 in canada you know they can go by pretty quickly ontario can have long winters you finally it's a
00:01:24.460 summer i want to get out i want to do stuff i want to get the kids out and everything and yet i've been
00:01:28.340 seeing driving around these past couple days i mean you know people go out they're they're hanging out
00:01:32.760 in the parks or whatnot but then there's rain so you gotta huddle under the trees or you go oh man
00:01:37.260 okay our plans are ruined gotta head back home and uh when there was the big soccer game going on on
00:01:42.140 sunday uh driving around and seeing there were patios set up outdoors and then uh very creative of the
00:01:47.700 various pubs and establishments they brought the tvs right to the front of their establishment at the
00:01:52.000 windows and then people sat on the outdoor patios and they could watch the game that way and so forth
00:01:55.860 but then the rain comes they're all huddled under and you know there's this prolonged drizzle and so
00:02:00.080 forth and you're like maybe just maybe you know you could have gone inside to watch the game and
00:02:06.680 that's a radical idea in ontario but that's of course what they're doing right now in alberta in bc
00:02:13.480 and saskatchewan and look a week from now ontario is going to reopen a fair bit more and allow
00:02:18.680 indoor dining establishments and allow movie theaters and you know various other places
00:02:23.300 museums and art galleries are going to reopen and so forth and and that's good news i guess but
00:02:27.720 you know should we applaud doug ford for well it's more than table scraps now it is a big step forward
00:02:33.140 but boy it's coming after months of people pointing out that ontario has been the most locked down
00:02:39.040 jurisdiction in north america in this category and that category and so forth it's like finally okay
00:02:44.260 we're getting there however a week from now that's yes opening to indoor dining but there's no complete
00:02:49.940 reopening plan right now on the books there are hints that something like that is coming but you
00:02:55.020 get to stage three in ontario but there's no planned time to say okay no more restrictions no more mask
00:03:00.700 mandate like scott moe did on sunday it's just not something that's written down in ontario's planning
00:03:07.720 documents for easing those restrictions it's so funny the legislation that ontario uses
00:03:12.920 uh to bring in these restrictions it's it's under the reopening ontario act and you're like really
00:03:18.160 is there actually a plan to fully reopen ontario let's hope it gets there soon because i think doug
00:03:23.400 ford knows just how embarrassing it is when people are watching what's happening all around the world
00:03:28.440 definitely in the united states and then in bc in alberta in saskatchewan so it's like can we please
00:03:34.100 just get with the program and yes coronavirus serious thing everybody who wants to get those double 0.72
00:03:38.980 vaccines they should be able to do it and so forth but do we really need this government
00:03:43.740 micromanagement of our lives and more and more now people are stepping forth and saying no we do not
00:03:50.000 you
