00:01:23.840 as a province that disagrees to federal initiatives. Quote, apparently a lack of consensus for the

00:01:30.540 same courtesy to be extended to other provinces and territories was enough for the federal government

00:01:35.060 to decline to issue a communique. Alberta has asked over and over again to be treated as an equal

00:01:40.460 partner in confederation on par with Quebec. The federal government made it clear that it is

00:01:45.360 unwilling and disinterested in even taking a small step in that direction.
