In this episode of the crypto-dork podcast, we are joined by a very good friend of mine, who is a full-time content creator, entrepreneur, and entrepreneur. We discuss how he got his start in the industry, how he went from working in the nightclubs in New York City, and what he has been up to since then.

00:00:00.000 so how did you get into this space so when i was in germany uh during the lockdown i put some
00:00:08.100 videos up in it and it went and it went viral what were the viral videos about talking about
00:00:14.000 they were just like they were more like business education videos okay and then uh and then from
00:00:21.780 there i just noticed after a while like people are like what content should you make to do well
00:00:27.280 on social media if you want to create content on social media i think it's pretty i mean you do it
00:00:32.500 really well but i would say just look at what video out of 50 videos what videos did the best
00:00:40.020 right right so like i wanted to do just crypto blockchain finance content because i was coming
00:00:46.400 from private equity and and i and uh then i realized that the videos that i was you know playing around
00:00:52.440 more did the best so then i just did more of that so where are you from originally new york did you
00:00:59.040 say i lived in new york about 15 years okay new york city and where before that like where were you
00:01:04.000 yeah yeah so i lived i lived in i lived in dc i lived in uh i lived actually lived here for i lived in
00:01:10.200 europe for about a couple months prior to getting a home here for the last few years
00:01:13.140 uh and i lived in dc i lived in atlanta la uh new york but new york city is where i lived the longest
00:01:20.660 about 15 years okay and is that because you're in you said finance private equity i did yeah but i
00:01:25.580 also worked in the nightclubs okay so i was working for about 10 years i work with fashion models in new
00:01:31.720 york city nightclubs wow yeah yeah so i was going i would go to castings and i would meet the women 0.99
00:01:39.100 and i would get their number i would exchange information and then i would invite them out to
00:01:43.900 the nightclub and then i would charge a fee for bringing them out and it was a good situation
00:01:49.020 because the women wouldn't feel obligated to owe me anything and i would get a fee from the from the 0.97
00:01:55.660 nightclub so i would charge like a thousand dollars let's say bring like eight models and then i'd bring 1.00
00:02:01.800 like five ten other women who weren't models but tall generally speaking uh or pretty and and uh and 1.00
00:02:08.840 then i'd it's like i'd bring like 10 15 people like a crew we would take a table we get bottle
00:02:13.540 service that's where i learned a lot about women okay that was really like my phd and understanding 0.99
00:02:20.560 women because my women were essentially my entire clientele i didn't get paid to bring guys i only 1.00
00:02:25.820 got paid for bringing well i'd imagine too you have to learn so much dealing with like the top 10 20
00:02:32.900 percent of women in terms of likes i'd imagine if they're in new york modeling they're probably the top 1.00
00:02:37.480 would you say 20 percent of beauty in the world right so it's like those are the women that have 1.00
00:02:42.900 so much sexual agency and sexual power so much more than the average chick so it must have been 1.00
00:02:49.460 interesting to see like what they did with it like would you say that those women when selecting 1.00
00:02:56.820 like boyfriends were did they typically select like good boyfriends did they sleep around like what
00:03:02.300 did they do with does that question make sense with all that like power in a way yeah um i think a lot
00:03:10.520 of men and you know just for the record uh you know you could just so you know i'm not lying like you
00:03:18.620 could go on new york post new york daily news and see that in around 2012 2013 i had a monday night
00:03:24.040 party okay and that was peak because that was a party where the supermodels victoria's secret models 1.00
00:03:29.640 hollywood celebrities billionaires would actually come it was known as the top party in that new york
00:03:35.980 in that in that period i didn't keep it for long the nightclub ended up closing just to get to that
00:03:41.880 point is top of the pyramid of new york nightlife that's very hard to get to so i was able to see a
00:03:47.780 lot and one thing i saw was how some men could be so good at making money but bad with women yeah yeah
00:03:57.420 and i would see it over and over and over and over and over again to the point where i was mystified
00:04:04.020 at hey man i wish i back then i didn't make much money bro so i thought how can this guy and these
00:04:11.720 are not necessarily all dorks you know what i'm saying dorks i don't like call anybody a dork but
00:04:16.940 just a dorky character right okay uh and he was very good at making money and you know he had the 1.00
00:04:28.960 material items but with the women he was a complete idiot like it was like that part of his brain 0.99
00:04:35.360 didn't work you know it was sort of like a guy that's great with computers but he doesn't have 1.00
00:04:40.180 sales ability or a guy who's great with sales but he can't cook he can't fix a tire if it goes flat
00:04:46.640 you know he can't put furniture together but he's a great salesman he doesn't know how to fix the
00:04:51.300 computer those guys so would they be sexless or would it be more like they just couldn't keep women 0.97
00:04:57.680 i think a lot of them would struggle i think a lot of them would struggle to get women i think a lot of
00:05:03.540 them would become bitter that um you know that they would get played and i think a lot of them i think
00:05:11.800 it's hard for a lot of these guys to be honest uh because i think that they face the most viciousness
00:05:18.240 when they're at new york city nightclubs it's tough to get women you know it's also easy to get women 1.00
00:05:23.140 because there's a lot of women but it's also nasty it's cold and i would approach women at a casting 1.00
00:05:28.580 so that's like one o'clock on a tuesday you know on spring street in soho their models coming out for
00:05:35.920 like two hours i'm going up to them like talking to them or right there in the street and i'm a you
00:05:40.740 know about six three guy you know i'm middle eastern i'm a dark guy these girls are coming from 0.96
00:05:46.520 like russia they're coming from like poland ukraine they've never seen a dark man like me before and
00:05:52.780 the ones they have were the ladies guys that take the women and go to eastern europe you know they have
00:05:58.160 a name for that and uh i'm not gonna say it but so they may have viewed that i was trying to do
00:06:03.340 something like that there was that stereotype of men like me so i'm approaching them right in the
00:06:09.440 street there's no music there's no ambiance and i would have to be able to get them get their phone
00:06:15.060 number and then invite them out to a nightclub then i'd go pick them up with like a car take them
00:06:20.020 out to a nice dinner but the best restaurants would like a lot of the best restaurants would
00:06:23.660 compass and take them out so imagine the power of going up with like models from img ford next in new
00:06:30.380 york you know that's that's high caliber models new york and paris you know these are girls that 1.00
00:06:35.740 modeled in paris london new york milano tokyo and you go to the nightclub and then you see a table
00:06:41.940 they would put me right next to another table 5 10 15 000 table bottle service guys spending money
00:06:47.980 that guy spends 15 000 and the girl won't even look at him you know what i mean right so like so they 0.99
00:06:54.920 would get attention from women but it would be very like like the the the girls were kind of using 1.00
00:07:01.300 them basically the guys that were like bad with chicks anyways but you know this this gets even
00:07:06.920 there's even another facet there's so many dimensions to this so so so the so the brazilian models
00:07:12.400 this is these are all called this is generalizations first of all i mean you have yeah you can't have a
00:07:18.480 conversation about anything without generalization yeah well but well it's still because it's fascinating
00:07:24.140 because like everyone everyone gets mad over them oh you can't general well you can yeah yeah i mean
00:07:29.620 yeah you know it's yeah yeah yeah so so so the brazilian models okay would have tension with the 1.00
00:07:36.200 russian models and like if they would have these model apartments where maybe there's one part of them
00:07:42.340 a russian one part of them a brazilian it's not always exactly like this but this is a general idea
00:07:47.040 and what i noticed was that the brazilian models in general were much more easygoing relaxed more 0.73
00:07:56.120 open whereas the eastern european models were more traditional they didn't give a shit how a man looked 0.95
00:08:04.200 they cared way more about money about money okay but they were also in that way like treat me like a 0.75
00:08:11.280 woman you're gonna do this this this and this for me but in return i will do x y and z for you 1.00
00:08:18.340 and okay with being a traditional woman and being submissive and i thought that was more honest
00:08:26.320 than someone that would even if i didn't like it i think that that's more honest than saying i do want
00:08:33.120 x y and z but i but when it suits me i also want this right you know like yeah i'm happy
00:08:41.500 to you know have these benefits of being independent but then i but then when the when the tab comes i want
00:08:49.000 you to pay which one is it i'm curious did they end up getting married like i'm just curious like the
00:08:55.400 women because you're how old you're i'm 42 so you're 42 so i'd imagine how old were you when 1.00
00:09:00.460 you were doing this man i was i was like in my 20s early 30s okay so now you can kind of see like
00:09:07.320 what happened to them like if if it ended up good or bad so i'm just curious do women in the top 20 1.00
00:09:13.940 percent of beauty tend to get married or do they waste their beauty 1.00
00:09:17.480 i would find that a lot of the fashion models that would come out to the nightclubs after two 1.00
00:09:26.380 three years a lot of them drop off and uh and i think that what happens is a lot of them settle
00:09:32.020 down okay i do think a lot of them would settle down i think in the i think when you're in your
00:09:37.440 early 20s that's just you're raging you know like me in my 20s working five nights a week throwing
00:09:45.160 parties right it was impossible for me to settle down until my my late 30s so when i see young
00:09:50.780 men talk about going out being with women i get it you know it's do i think it's degenerate yeah but
00:09:56.560 i'd i'd be a hypocrite if i if i attacked them for sleeping around with a bunch of women not being 1.00
00:10:02.640 in a relationship um i've become a traditional man because you became a traditional man yeah i'm 42
00:10:11.120 years old you know i'm i'm i do believe in a monogamous relationship i am against adultery
00:10:16.920 i never make jokes against about adultery or homosexual that i'm a homosexual because i don't
00:10:22.020 i think i would never make a joke that i'm a homosexual or that i cheat on my wife
00:10:26.360 because that's my daughter because how my daughter one day will get older 0.99
00:10:29.900 and i don't want my daughter to ever say to me why did you cheat on mom
00:10:34.700 you know my daughter is the most precious thing to me in my life you know and my relationship with
00:10:41.540 my wife is the most important relationship put her front and center my but my wife is traditional 1.00
00:10:48.940 you know she's a teacher by training she's a college graduate she's a teacher by training her
00:10:53.860 mother's traditional her grandma in german they call it oma she was traditional her sister's
00:10:59.680 traditional where where i live in germany where i have a home it's traditional women
00:11:05.620 and these are women that are great at keeping the home organized cleanliness preparing meals 1.00
00:11:14.620 and they're happy this way this is this is this is what this was crazy to people in the united
00:11:20.840 states maybe you live in a small city and by the way my wife is not from new york i didn't meet her
00:11:27.660 in the new york nightclub you know i'm a small city and even within the small city in the most
00:11:32.360 rural part of that small city we got cows horses and pigs in my neighborhood in germany where i have
00:11:38.480 my home so over there the women it's almost a cultural norm in that part of germany to be married 1.00
00:11:47.500 have one man they're cooking cleaning and it's not outrageous to say it they actually want to do it
00:11:57.380 and they take pride in it but the man works he takes care of it and for my from my wife her mom
00:12:06.680 her grandma her older sister her cousins her aunt she has so many examples and that's actually a pretty
00:12:15.140 very well balanced
00:12:15.560 very well balanced
00:12:25.860 very well balanced
00:12:28.020 very well balanced
00:12:36.020 very well balanced
00:12:36.860 very well balanced
00:12:38.440 very well balanced
00:12:39.000 very well balanced
00:12:39.940 very well balanced
