All right. It looks like I got the rumble chat. What'd you guys think of the song?
00:00:18.980
You know, my producer's out of town for another week and a half.
00:00:24.500
So God help me with this equipment. Early on in the show, I would use it, but now it's really,
00:00:32.940
it's struggle stream and we're back. But I think I'm getting better. I think I'm getting a little
00:00:38.060
bit better. And since I could show you guys my mixtape without the embarrassment of the producer
00:00:45.440
looking at me, you know, I know this is like a cultural commentary show, but I got to,
00:00:52.420
I enjoy showing you the mixtapes. I just love, I love making music. I always said if I could do
00:00:59.340
anything, I'd be a traveling folk artist and a professional athlete that talks about that
00:01:06.760
talks to random people about politics. Anyways, so maybe, maybe I'll make that a reality here,
00:01:15.740
you know, anyway, so make sure you like the video on your way in, subscribe to the channel
00:01:23.080
and we're going to get started about today's topic in one second. I just need to pull something up.
00:01:29.800
So today we're talking about, we're talking about female bosses. Now I want to preface guys,
00:01:36.420
before we get into the topic, we are on the app store, the audacity network. I built my own app. So
00:01:42.660
okay. Not me. I got a guy to do it. You're okay. I, you guilty, guilty as charged. Um,
00:01:53.460
on the website, if you guys have a comment question or concern, you, um, you can sign up
00:02:00.940
to the audacity network. You can see all my old shows and also you can be a part of the live chat.
00:02:06.920
Now we've got a really cool community on the website. We got Rob in the chat. We got Zach. He says,
00:02:11.900
howdy y'all. Uh, we got Doug MPA as usual. I'd love to get, I'd love to get like 30 people in the live
00:02:19.720
chat on the website. I know it's a little embarrassing. We're, we're, we're starting
00:02:23.220
slow. Sometimes we get to like 12. Um, but at some point, if we get like 30, 50 people in there,
00:02:29.440
I want to just do one-on-one like, um, one-on-ones with you guys where you can have a zoom specifically
00:02:38.680
on the website and we can all just talk about whatever the topic was of today.
00:02:44.600
So anyways, if you want to support the channel, if we get 10 signups a show, I can be YouTube free
00:02:50.460
by the end of the year. And I'd be a lot less, you know, stressed out some days. So to, and, and then
00:02:58.220
I'll have the money to finish this divorce documentary. The link to that's in the description too.
00:03:02.820
I do have the first edit covered, but, um, so I think it's around 10 to $12,000 that we raised for
00:03:10.080
this documentary, which by the way, guys was so nice. You know that you guys don't have to do
00:03:14.300
anything. I mean, how often do people want to send money to YouTubers? I get it. Um, but this divorce
00:03:22.680
documentary, if we get the next payment, then I can get a second edit. So right now I have a first
00:03:31.420
edit and then I'm going to go back with, um, I might even show you guys on the website,
00:03:36.380
the edits of the documentaries. I was trying to think of a way to do it. You guys can't leak it,
00:03:41.600
but I want you guys involved in the process. Like if you're giving me your hard earned money,
00:03:45.160
you guys might as well be involved. So anyways, it would be cool. We're at six live on the website.
00:03:52.940
It would be cool to get to 20 by the end of the stream. I'll be very excited.
00:03:56.800
I'm going to attempt to call in at the end of the show, but you know, I promise nothing. I am
00:04:03.800
producing this myself. Okay. So today we're talking about female bosses. Now I do have a monologue
00:04:10.500
about this, but I want to talk about my personal experience with female bosses. So generally in my
00:04:17.060
life I've worked for mostly men. Um, to be fair, I haven't had a lot of, um, jobs outside of YouTube
00:04:25.920
cause I started my career fairly early, but I worked in a sales for a little bit. That was men
00:04:32.440
copier sales. Women aren't doing that. Um, and then I worked in at a plumbing tech company. It was also
00:04:41.280
owned by a guy, but my experience is more from coaches because for 22 years of my life, I had a
00:04:47.740
lot of coaches and women do are a large percentage of the coaches. And I could say one thing from
00:04:58.220
working with men and women, um, volleyball coaches, I'll say, I would say I had majority women.
00:05:04.300
There's a lot of challenges that came for one bosses that are female or coaches that are female
00:05:10.160
are always involved in the office drama. Um, now obviously this is the team drama, but whenever
00:05:16.980
there was like gossip about one girl, whoring it up, my coaches would find out it's weird behavior,
00:05:23.000
right? What are you worrying about? A kid's sex life? You know, second thing, um,
00:05:30.140
was that, you know, when I was in college, I played and she was a lovely lady, to be honest. I played for
00:05:37.960
this woman. I don't want to say her name, although you guys could probably find her if you really wanted
00:05:42.220
to. Um, but I really liked her as a coach. However, I experienced, when I played for this team, we were
00:05:49.700
really competitive. We were top 20 in all of division three. At one point we were like 14th in
00:05:54.640
the country, really, really competitive team for D three take with a grain of salt. Um, and this coach,
00:06:03.960
whenever we would lose a game, guys, I shit you not, we would sit in the locker room for sometimes up to
00:06:11.360
three hours talking about everything that went wrong. And at one point in the season, I counted how
00:06:22.480
many hours we spend in that locker room and it was damn near a part-time job.
00:06:26.760
Um, the men, when I had male coaches, they would really just focus on what we could improve.
00:06:35.760
The women focused a lot more on the emotions. They would say things like, you know, if this is a
00:06:41.220
mental game and, you know, I played volleyball for 22 years. Yeah, it's somewhat mental, but not really.
00:06:48.980
Um, it's strategy. Um, it's strategy and, um, male coaches tended to understand that. Like one,
00:06:58.520
I had one woman, young woman who went to a college in I think Kentucky and her coach based all of his
00:07:06.440
decisions on numbers. It was really on stats and this young woman, she couldn't really take it. She,
00:07:12.500
you know, stressed her out too much. Um, okay. So Doug says women bosses treat men better. I've never
00:07:21.480
had a bad female boss as a professional, but I've seen women destroy each other. Um, Craig says,
00:07:27.660
I liked the song. Thank you guys on the website. Now we got seven people on the website chat.
00:07:33.380
If you're curious, you go to Pearl daily on the website and you join it. You guys are awesome.
00:07:41.800
Um, you guys are the best chat on YouTube really. Um, okay. So, you know, we always hear about how
00:07:50.780
bad women have it in the modern day. You know, we have the pay gap. We have women aren't safe.
00:07:55.880
Women are oppressed. And, you know, of course they always blame these issues on the men. You know,
00:08:01.260
it's always the men's fault. What about the men though? Um, you know, an example of a place I see this
00:08:08.440
in, even outside of work is whenever women sleep with the boss, it's always the boss's fault
00:08:14.720
and not the young, hot woman. Like for some reason, even in that interaction, it's always the guy.
00:08:23.340
I was even talking to my dad about this the other day. And I'm like, dad,
00:08:27.400
the women are apex predators. And he's like, no, that the boss is in a position of power. And I'm
00:08:32.480
like, really dad, you buy this. I love my dad. My dad's the best, the best guy on the planet,
00:08:40.380
but even him, even him, I'm like, dad, you're falling for this. Gosh. If you look at the
00:08:44.760
mainstream misandrist propaganda, women really can't stand each other. You know, if you ask any
00:08:50.940
woman, your mom, your sister, your female friends, you know, don't female friends really
00:08:55.760
aren't worth it, but you know, maybe one or two, they'll tell you that, you know, the person that
00:09:01.200
has done the worst of the things to them in their lives is another woman. And I could tell you a
00:09:07.960
story about this. So I'll tell you guys a story and maybe I hope she doesn't go off on TikTok again,
00:09:14.380
but I don't care anymore. God, I don't care anymore. So I had an ex, I had a friend that was like
00:09:20.200
friends with me for 22 years, 22 years. And this woman, this is how women use reputation destruction.
00:09:32.020
I'll tell you what. And I have notes on this, but this woman I was friends with for 22 years and I
00:09:40.040
started my show and this, this woman was a liberal, right? And to put it into context, this is a woman
00:09:46.680
that asked me during George Floyd, if I posted a black square. And you know, I'd always liked her.
00:09:57.800
We'd been close since we were young. So I just, I would always put politics aside or, I mean,
00:10:02.900
I've always been a dork. I probably talked about it a little bit, but you know, you, she was just the
00:10:09.360
type you had to be careful what you said around because you know, she was, I mean, one of her friends,
00:10:16.680
said like her other friend couldn't see her kid if she didn't get the COVID shot. I mean, this is
00:10:24.320
madness, right? I don't, but I liked her as a person so much. So I was in this woman's wedding.
00:10:29.380
We were like best friends, besties. And she texts me one day when I'm doing my show and then gets mad
00:10:36.460
at me for stuff I was saying on my show. And essentially what it came down to, she said,
00:10:42.960
say what I want. Don't use words that I don't like on your show where I'm not going to be friends
00:10:50.220
because my daughter, my future daughter might see it one day. And I, you know, I refrain from talking
00:10:55.660
about her because, you know, she's gone on TikTok and she just goes off and I'm like, there she goes.
00:11:01.980
Now, anyways, this was really one of my first experiences where I'm like, wow,
00:11:08.240
women really like to control speech because she could have just shut off my show. But 22 years
00:11:14.620
of friendship, I guess down the drain, you know, my crime was, it was so crazy. I said,
00:11:24.100
Ah, what a time. No, but this was a female friend, 20 years of friendship. And then I just said,
00:11:36.620
okay, you know, I ended it and that was it, you know, but sometimes she like spurgs on the internet,
00:11:42.760
whatever. Um, now this, this is just one example, right? But I think we can all think of, you know,
00:11:49.820
women that have backstabbed each other, you know, a common thing that I've heard is women
00:11:56.120
sleeping with each other's boyfriends, sleeping with each other's husbands. Um, it's always another
00:12:02.420
woman, you know, who is the woman? And, and, oh my gosh, women, when I got into this space,
00:12:10.140
women started treating me like a man. And do you know what?
00:12:14.080
Women have made up so much shit about me, or do you know what they do? They take a small detail
00:12:24.300
and put it completely, they over-exaggerate it to destroy your reputation. I mean, these,
00:12:31.280
you know, maybe I'm not going to get into all of it. I'm not going to get into all of it today.
00:12:37.160
Um, it's always another woman, you know, who's the bad person that makes a bad life decision
00:12:42.540
that wants you to do the same. So you can all be miserable together. You know,
00:12:47.340
when one woman's a whore, she has to get everyone to be a whore. Um, it's always another woman.
00:12:55.180
Women make it more difficult for other women in the workplace. Queen bee syndrome is
00:13:00.480
a term for when women finally make it into management and then make life hell for every
00:13:07.840
other woman under her supervision. And I've seen this in friend groups. Whenever there's a female
00:13:15.360
friend group, every six months, one of the girls gets tired of the other and tries to kick the girl
00:13:20.000
out of the friend group, but it rotates. Then they get less, they bitch about that girl for three months
00:13:25.300
and then they let her back in the friend group. And then it's a different girl's time to get kicked
00:13:29.760
out. There's usually like three or four that are consistent that maybe you're less annoying or
00:13:35.740
for bitchy or I don't know, for whatever reason, they don't kick, get kicked out. But, um,
00:13:42.720
this is female friend groups. Now, female dominated industries are full of drama because 80% of
00:13:51.200
workplace bullying is a woman bullying women. Catty behavior is normal working around other women and
00:14:01.000
women's supervisors are stereotyped for being more emotional, less and less compassionate to female
00:14:07.080
employees and taking out the frustrations in their personal lives around them. That's why today we're
00:14:12.980
going to talk about female bosses. Many women, 40% say they would rather work for a male boss than a
00:14:19.280
female boss. Is there really a patriarchy when almost half of women would rather work for a man than a
00:14:25.820
woman? So there's an article on LinkedIn. And I was looking at this earlier. I was cracking up.
00:14:31.060
God, it was so funny. Oh, let me, let me turn on my camera switcher. Bear with me. And I'm going to
00:14:38.180
take a second to read the chat. I'm going to be doing a call in later. So get ready. Um,
00:14:47.000
women bosses. Oh, wait, I read that. Many women live on drama. It's bizarre. I had to chat with my mom
00:14:53.260
and sister. Life can be good if you let it. We are above ground. Consider adding a business panel
00:15:00.820
for the guys who are interested in members, can connect, share ideas, learn and support each
00:15:06.000
other's growth instead of endless talk of bitches. Let's build and scale together. A business panel.
00:15:14.700
Um, give me ideas, Fizal. I'm not opposed to it. Okay. So we're going to go to camera four.
00:15:21.360
Okay. We spend a lot of time. Um, wait, hold on. The female paradox. Women prefer to work with men.
00:15:29.840
We spend a lot of time talking about, reading about, and writing about the gender diversity,
00:15:37.200
pay equality, and the glass ceiling and lack of women in executive and leadership roles.
00:15:43.500
We hear about how there is a movement and change happening in this area and that women are advancing
00:15:50.420
the ball by leaning in more to accept executive responsibilities. So here's the pressing question
00:15:58.860
I couldn't shake that led me to write this article seeking answers. If there is a huge movement to
00:16:04.420
support and advance professional women, why do both women and men report not only that they prefer male
00:16:10.260
bosses, but that they prefer to work with men in general more than women? What is the real issue
00:16:17.220
of working with women? The female leader paradox. Women say they support female leaders, but they
00:16:23.840
really don't want to work with or for them. How can this be? Can we create more female executives
00:16:33.220
without actually wanting to work for them? Can we support and advocate for the advancement of women
00:16:40.400
and for crushing the glass ceiling without going all in? Who are female leaders supposed to lead
00:16:47.360
when even women prefer to be led by men? Oh my God. That is so funny. Women don't even want to do it.
00:16:57.800
Women are like women in leadership. And then they're like, go work for the women. And they're like,
00:17:02.400
you know what? They did this to me with sports. All the women, all the women said, oh, you know,
00:17:08.940
we want women and we support women's sports. I never saw any of you feminists at my games.
00:17:14.960
I played sports for 22 years. Do you know who is the most supportive of female athletes? The male
00:17:21.380
teams. They always got there early. They all went. To be fair, they're probably trying to get some
00:17:29.660
tail. But hey, you know what? The YouTube video keeps going out. Oh, no.
00:17:41.560
All right. Hold on, guys. Let me. Does this work?
00:18:35.360
Making up for the no black square. Yeah, guys, this, this woman, you know, and I never, you know.
00:18:52.700
I should fire the woman in charge of the camera. What? I'm firing myself.
00:19:06.240
Yeah, let me, let me just fire me, you know. Also, I do apologize for the moving of showtimes.
00:19:14.360
Guys, I'm trying to balance a lot. We're short staffed. I'm doing the best I can. That's all I
00:19:21.620
can say. Go to the audacitynetwork.com, okay? If you can.
00:19:31.320
Please, you know. Monthly membership, yearly membership. Oh, we got seven in the chat. It'd
00:19:38.500
be nice to get to 10. Let's try to get to 10. Three more of you guys. It's 10 bucks a month,
00:19:44.140
100 bucks a year. Hire a man to fix the video. Okay, then go to, go to the website.
00:19:53.400
Sorry, I'm kidding. I'm kidding. I, we have one, but he's on vacation. So I knew it before I hired
00:20:01.160
him that he'd have to take like two weeks off right away. I just hired him. So he's a really
00:20:07.280
good producer, but he's coming back. Okay, so I think we have to ask ourselves, are women
00:20:13.640
sometimes unintentionally keeping women down? I'm not sure if it's the lack of advancement of
00:20:20.500
opportunities, societal norms, built-in expectations, or some sort of professional jealousy or something
00:20:27.420
else. But certainly there are underlying factors to contribute to these statistics and research.
00:20:35.600
According to this Forbes article authored by Matt Simmons, today women occupy just 4% of CEO at
00:20:45.140
Fortune 500 companies and fewer than one in five corporate board seats is held by. With data and a new
00:20:53.360
Gallup poll authored by Lizzie Crocker informs us that 40% of women prefer a male in charge compared to
00:21:00.340
27% who prefer a female boss. This article says that these numbers don't exactly show a groundswell of
00:21:07.440
women adopting Sheryl Sandberg's lean-in attitude, nor have they budged much over a decade. The article
00:21:14.460
authored by Olga Kahazan and featured in The Atlantic reviews a Pew article survey that indicates,
00:21:22.340
in fact, more women said they'd rather work with men than men did. The article goes on to confirm that
00:21:27.600
the dilemma gets worse, not better with younger generations. We have to do more to support
00:21:33.980
professional women. We have to want to work for them. We often have this discussion about breaking
00:21:39.580
the glass ceiling and resolving pay inequalities as if it's a male-driven phenomenon. But clearly it
00:21:46.960
isn't. From what I can tell, it's very much or at least equally a female-driven phenomenon.
00:21:52.140
I pose that until women actually want to work with and for other women, these statistics will not
00:22:00.320
change until women stop viewing leadership as mostly a masculine concept. These stats won't change.
00:22:06.660
Unless women match words to deeds and develop supportive workplace relationships and professional
00:22:12.600
women, these stats will not change until women report at least equal preference for working with
00:22:18.260
and other women, nothing will change. Why? Because of supply and demand. Women increasingly making up
00:22:25.520
more and more of the professional workplace. We have the dominant voice and our voice and actions are
00:22:31.900
sending the message that men should be in charge. So how together, and they said, let's do this on our own
00:22:38.920
girl power. And then feminism always eats itself because the women, they started working for the other
00:22:44.620
women and they thought, I don't know about this. Oh, this is pretty bad. Maybe the men, maybe the men
00:22:51.560
had a, had, had a point, you know. Um, Doug says the average career life of a male CEO is seven to eight
00:22:59.900
years. The average career life of a female CEO is two to three years. Women get to the top and then quit
00:23:06.240
because it's too hard. Fazal says my brother, thank you for your support. Let's meet monthly to add more
00:23:13.680
flavor to the audacity network. We can bring in Glenn share ideas. If we hit a wall, gain insights from
00:23:19.380
Pearl's dad to grow stronger together. You know what? My dad might meet with you guys on the website
00:23:26.900
privately. He's not a public, he's not a public guy. We can do that. We can do that actually.
00:23:42.120
Fazal, I think I, I think I owe you a meeting. Actually, I just remembered this. I apologize.
00:23:49.060
Okay. Um, number one, some, all right. So she listed some reasons women don't like working for other
00:23:56.240
women. One, get this professional jealousy, women being jealous. Never, never. We're all
00:24:04.020
always happy. Especially when other women get promoted fast beyond us or get her work projects
00:24:11.820
noticed more. Okay. So this is essentially a hotter woman comes into the office. So there's a woman
00:24:18.880
that's in the office. She's used to being the hottest woman. And then a younger, hotter, tighter woman comes
00:24:24.800
in and she makes her life a living hell. It's like the 30 year olds with the 20 year olds. Limited
00:24:31.680
opportunities. Since we are competing for such limited roles, are we intentionally or unintentionally
00:24:37.820
backbiting and sabotaging one another? Because there is not enough for all of us. Different standards for
00:24:45.520
different women. Do women have different standards for women and with children and those without them?
00:24:51.820
How about married versus single women? How do we apply different standards? Discomfort working
00:24:57.780
with smart, beautiful women. History shows that men don't take beautiful women seriously,
00:25:03.240
but is that still the case? Or I think that ugly women have a harder time or are there more,
00:25:10.840
or is now more beautiful women a problem? Are women still viewing the workplace as a dating pool
00:25:16.000
and competing for male attention? Women can't even give it up. When a woman is beautiful, are women the
00:25:25.400
ones questioning her competence and intelligence, hence showing her less respect? The marriage and
00:25:32.600
motherhood factors. Do women look negatively on women who are not married and or mothers? Yes,
00:25:41.240
of course. Balancing politeness with assertiveness. If the woman is polite and friendly, do we view her
00:25:49.640
as too polite and too friendly? And when she is assertive and direct, do we view her as temperamental
00:25:55.000
above herself or even bitchy? I could go on, but the ultimate and final question here is how do we overcome
00:26:02.340
gender biases that not only men have, but also women have against women?
00:26:11.000
There you have it, guys. Isn't that insane? Women don't even want to work with other women.
00:26:18.080
Let me know in the chat. Can you guys go on the website
00:26:20.600
and type in your female boss experience? It'd be very helpful to me. I'm going to try,
00:26:27.520
I think when I share my screen, that's when this goes black. I want to test this. Is my screen
00:26:32.140
black again? If it is. I'll see you in a second. Okay. Next, we have a TikTok of older woman hated
00:26:46.020
this woman in the workplace. Oh my gosh, I am so dumb. This is why it went black. I did not plug in.
00:26:55.380
Oh, that's so embarrassing. Oh, I was just getting better at producing. Oh my gosh.
00:27:17.580
Okay. Hold on. Oh, there we go. I was not prepared. This should work now.
00:27:29.020
The first was to have older women just hate me for existing. We'll talk about...
00:27:33.660
I'm going to go turn this up slightly. Hold on. Hold on.
00:27:37.400
It says a good bit of that confusion makes this show more entertaining.
00:28:05.640
beginning. I'll take it. You know what I mean? Okay. We're going to go back to the beginning.
00:28:11.100
What I was not prepared for in the workforce was to have older women just hate me.
00:28:14.460
I turned this up. We'll talk about older men. That's like...
00:28:43.460
Not prepared for in the workforce was to have older women just hate me for existing. We'll talk about older men. That's like a different line here, but older women hated me for no reason.
00:28:55.180
Uh, we can talk about the narcissistic men on a different time. I'm going to tell you a story about my first full-time job.
00:29:01.640
So I worked for a company that sold medical equipment and I was in sales and marketing and we all kind of had different bosses and we all had, um, it was like kind of like, I don't know, little groups.
00:29:11.900
And so my boss was under this one. My boss was an older lady, maybe in her sixties. And she had worked at this company for 20 years. We all had different ships. So like I could come in at 6am and leave at 3pm. And that's what I did. So I came in at 6am and then she would come in at like a normal time, 8am.
00:29:26.540
And every day she'd come in, she would ask only me what I was doing. So, you know, there's a whole team of like, I don't know, 15 of us. She would say, Chrissy, what have you done? Then she would log into the back end of my computer to see what I had been doing that day.
00:29:39.520
And the thing is, I didn't really realize that I was being like singled out. You know, she got mad at me for taking a lot of water breaks. I was also competing in crossbeds. Like I peed a lot, you know, I get that. Um, so I was naive and I went to HR and I was like, Hey, I just don't think she's treating me fairly. She's like treating me different than everyone else.
00:29:57.680
Now, this company also had someone that was on FMLA leave and also was just like went finished a lawsuit from someone not getting their proper lunch breaks. So I'm assuming they were like really fearful of a lawsuit. I was freshly 21. I don't even like that didn't even come into my brain. Okay.
00:30:15.540
Um, so I just went to them because that's what I thought you were supposed to do. And I was like, Hey, I just think she's like picking on me and I don't really understand it. And it got to a point where like she would call me out in front of everyone. She would talk down to me. But the thing is like my accounts were happy. I was hitting goals. I was doing okay. It's just that I could do the job in less time than everyone else.
00:30:33.540
Yeah. So women, this is a common problem with women. Women don't care about getting things done. They care about looking like they're getting things done. So her problem was that she could work less and get more done and her boss would get mad at her, even though she was getting her stuff done.
00:30:58.720
Now I want to take a moment and say, thank you so much to Fizelle for getting the yearly membership. He got annual on the app. Every time you guys download the app, it ranks us higher in the app store. So I do appreciate you guys going up.
00:31:15.020
Um, also I want to thank Gabe. You're awesome. Thank you to, and I, I want to say thank you to Madam. Thank you to Matthew. Thank you to Mark. This app is going good. This app's going good. Okay. So next we got, um, women.
00:31:45.020
Bosses are less. Oh, wait, hold on. Another tick tock of women talking about how female bosses are the worst. Okay. So let me go here.
00:31:54.340
We often talk about men. Okay. So we often talk about male bosses and how they are the worst. And let me tell you, female bosses are the fucking worst.
00:32:04.760
They are nasty. They're blank cutthroat, blank degrading to other females. They're the worst to deal with. And I'm not saying all of them. Okay.
00:32:16.640
But 90% of the time they are mean ass ish. Okay. And for some reason, they're the most straightforward with their like shitty ways.
00:32:27.180
And I don't know. It's because they're jealous. They feel intimidated or they just hate females. I don't know. Okay.
00:32:35.100
But they always seem to be in a power trip and they always seem to hate the idea of other females being around and trying to like better themselves.
00:32:45.760
And it's, it never makes sense to me. It never makes sense.
00:32:51.260
Like I used to work at this, uh, place in San Antonio and I was supposed to learn from this lady who had been with the company since they started.
00:32:59.740
She was about to retire. You know, she was like the mom of the company because she had been there for so long.
00:33:04.940
And she didn't want to fucking train me. I literally followed this woman around and she would be like, oh no, I'm not going to teach you that. You don't need to know. That's what I'm here for.
00:33:15.420
Okay. But you're going to retire, bitch. You old as fuck. You're going to retire. Um, and she never wanted to train me.
00:33:21.880
So they literally removed me from that and like guided my position into something else because she didn't want to train nobody.
00:33:29.240
She was mean. She was degrading. She was cutthroat. She was fucking nasty for no reason. All I was to her was respectful.
00:33:37.600
We got eight on the website, by the way. Can you guys hear the rain? Is that coming through? It's raining kind of hard out here.
00:33:43.920
And I was excited to learn and I was excited for like my job.
00:33:47.800
It'd be cool to get a 10. Let's get 10 on the website.
00:33:51.060
And she did not want to have none of it. She was on this power trip that she was the only one that knew things and she had been with the company for whatever many years and she was mean.
00:34:01.360
Okay. So yeah, male bosses are horrible and extremely demanding at times, but female bosses, the wrong female bosses, the worst, the worst.
00:34:14.860
And I'm sure there's a woman out there who know the type of bosses I'm talking about that just hate you for no reason.
00:34:21.460
And you're just, they're trying to do your damn job and they just fucking hate your guts and they treat you like crap.
00:34:28.800
I had a couple of coaches that were bullied me. Oh my gosh. Okay. We got another one, another woman complaining about her female boss.
00:34:38.980
Then I think next we'll do a call in. So if you guys have some stories about a terrible female boss, I will put a zoom link in the chat after this.
00:34:49.620
At some point, I will only take it from the website. That day is not today.
00:34:55.460
We're almost to 10 people on the website though. Let's get 10 in the live chat on there. We're at eight now.
00:35:03.660
Learned from working for two very insecure women bullies.
00:35:07.680
I've had two bullies in my life and they were both female bosses.
00:35:11.200
The other side of that, I have had two wonderful, amazing female leaders, one of which is mine right now, and I would do anything for her.
00:35:17.840
An insecure boss is going to constantly be living in fear that you are going to take their job.
00:35:21.700
So they will withhold resources, training, anything from you just to keep you at this level.
00:35:26.500
They do not want to see you succeed, whether it's in that company or elsewhere, and they are going to do everything in their power to keep it that way.
00:35:33.580
They will participate in company gossip and likely be the ones that start it in order to break down the team and create some weird divide so that they can be your saving grace and also take the attention away from the fact that they suck.
00:35:44.320
They have an inability of self-awareness or gratitude.
00:35:47.020
They will micromanage to the point that you are no longer empowered to make any decision and you start to second-guess your confidence.
00:35:59.960
Women got together and they said, let's empower each other.
00:36:18.260
And then women worked for other women and said, not like that.
00:36:26.240
Okay, I want to read on the chat, on the website, which we have eight people on.
00:36:38.120
One in particular would crash at every week or so.
00:36:46.540
I'm an engineer and I've actually had some very good female bosses and colleagues.
00:36:55.320
I expect engineering might be somewhat different.
00:37:16.000
I want to know from you, what is your female boss story?
00:37:20.100
So I think I get a little bit better of stories when I allow you guys to not be on camera.
00:37:28.400
So you can join the Zoom, but it's not going to be on camera.
00:37:30.980
I am going to make you listen to another one of my mixtapes while I go figure this out because, you know, I got to plug my mixtapes.
00:38:26.000
People don't dance because somebody's watching.
00:38:41.200
Put your phone down and get on the dance floor.
00:39:30.940
Now all these young kids do a stream on Twitch.
00:39:37.980
People don't dance because somebody's watching.
00:39:55.040
Put your phone down and get on the dance floor.
00:40:31.040
Hold on, there ain't nothing that you can't do wrong.
00:41:18.400
I'm going to do one more song while I get this ready.
00:41:33.240
Or, you know what, I'll play an old video of mine while we're waiting.
00:41:58.220
Sleeping around different for men and for women, yes or no?
00:42:04.860
I think, yeah, when women do it, it's not really acceptable.
00:42:16.620
It's just that women have to face the consequences.
00:42:22.000
And women judge other women as well for sleeping around, I think.
00:42:27.360
I think people care less nowadays if girls sleep around more.
00:42:32.840
I think when you're younger in school, that's when it's more...
00:42:35.140
Some dudes, especially with the whole Andrew Tate thing,
00:42:37.620
some dudes actually care about body count and shit.
00:42:49.020
So if it doesn't matter, why don't people just say it?
00:42:56.540
But it's just interesting because we'll say it doesn't matter.
00:43:00.300
But then it's like, if it doesn't matter, why doesn't everyone just say it?
00:43:04.600
Because honestly, for a guy, I think personally, I wish I was a virgin.
00:43:17.440
You need to know that the person that you're going to marry is...
00:43:28.960
Okay, that full video is on www.theaudacitynetwork.com.
00:43:34.720
I kind of regret those street interviews because I could have did not regret, but I just wasted
00:43:45.520
And I really regret that time in my career, even though I meant what I said.
00:43:50.240
But the reason I regret it a little bit is because...
00:43:54.520
I could have asked so many more interesting questions.
00:44:01.640
I could have said, okay, what counts as a body to you?
00:44:10.660
I think we need to do a show, everybody, where we detail what is body count?
00:44:25.260
So as far as I know, I need you guys to stay muted.
00:45:41.360
okay i don't know the woman left guys please god please for the love of god i have no producer
00:45:52.860
here i'm doing my best please do not come on the zoom with your mic on please like
00:45:59.620
you see this struggle okay you hear me okay bro yeah doug i can can i think i made you a host
00:46:08.140
so i think you can boot people uh yeah i'll look but yaya's on the phone and seb okay so well first
00:46:17.840
doug can you can you start us off today with your female boss story so tell you the truth since i've
00:46:25.200
become a professional i've never i've had a bad female team lead but never a bad female boss as
00:46:31.360
the one who writes my performance reviews but women treat male employees women supervisors
00:46:38.520
treat male employees better than their female ones 100 i've seen the same female boss be nice to me
00:46:44.700
and then just destroy every other woman in the office what is so what was do you have any what
00:46:51.460
was the story with the person that was your colleague was it like what did they do to make
00:46:58.880
your life so i've seen you know what it is it's because see men we don't go into our jobs trying
00:47:06.660
to be happy or trying to be social or trying to find a passion so when you find women who are trying
00:47:12.560
to be happy at work or find a passion and it clashes and one has authority over the other
00:47:19.160
it's like a powder keg so one of the reasons why i get along with with all my bosses is because
00:47:25.740
my real job i mean it's just a means to an end to me like i i don't think that i'm going to save the
00:47:31.840
world i don't think that i'm special but if you have two women who think that they're special and
00:47:37.240
one has authority over over the other it's going to be chaos so um i've and then also if you're the
00:47:44.460
guy that gets along with your female boss she'll try to get you involved and stuff she'll talk trash
00:47:50.260
about another woman to you and then oh you don't i don't like her do you like her you're supposed to
00:47:56.060
say no but you guys just don't get involved don't get involved in squabbles between women especially
00:48:03.980
supervisors uh and uh subordinates they always just try to get the men involved in their squabbles
00:48:11.500
don't do it don't say anything just listen but don't take a side don't say anything because i've
00:48:19.380
seen women try to make people to take sides in the office i've seen what was the what was the what
00:48:43.660
okay well well we got a second we got some new signups on the website dusty we got a dusty on the
00:48:54.440
website we also got um sean welcome to the site
00:49:02.200
we also got a oh wait for zel so thank you guys guys if we get tennis show we don't even have to do
00:49:12.060
ads i'm talking to some ads people but you know we get tennis show consistently i think doug dropped
00:49:19.520
okay next we got yaya um do you want to unmute yaya
00:49:35.980
you don't have a story well yaya why are you here
00:49:41.240
what are you the zoom was for people that have a story about female bosses
00:49:47.760
i'm not trying to be rude you know go you go on the website go get the app
00:49:52.920
then you can interact with me and i i'll read it but
00:50:11.160
um and then i can read your your chats or whatever but i don't know why you're here
00:50:17.560
okay sub we got sub next you can unmute if you got a female boss story i'd love to hear
00:50:24.820
if you guys could tell me the industry that you're in and like what age maybe this happened to you
00:50:29.820
hey hey pearl i'm back i got booted but but i'll make sure to let you know who's in the chat
00:50:36.740
who's not who's on there how'd you get booted like the wi-fi or what i don't know it's just
00:50:41.700
connected but i'm back so you you said yeah i think you can are you able to bring people up i
00:50:48.320
think you can i made you oh wait no not anymore he probably okay we'll do our best so
00:50:54.120
sub said he needs a second so then um okay so we can go to alexander wesner are you ready
00:51:00.900
he's trying to unmute unmute there we go and area all right yeah i can hear you no one's on camera
00:51:11.180
by the way as far as i know my tech is so you know there's nothing fishy going yeah yeah so what's
00:51:17.880
your female boss story so this would have been a few years ago i was working in uh retail just
00:51:26.000
customer service industry um what would you call it a corner store kind of thing um so i had a female
00:51:33.000
boss i had several over the time and i had obviously female peers i actually found that maybe a male
00:51:42.900
boss would be preferable but if i'm going to have female peers i actually like having a female boss
00:51:48.840
because they actually appreciate somebody who's hard working or follows orders well that kind of
00:51:56.160
thing um i actually had an incident with one of my uh female colleagues where she was doing some
00:52:05.360
dramatic spiel and um i offered her some life advice because she was going through some hard times or
00:52:11.120
whatever come to find out the next day she spent some story about how i'm being degraded
00:52:18.820
and abusive and all these things verbally abusive what was the advice what was the advice what did
00:52:27.880
you say she uh she was some 20 21 year old maybe and she was like trying to adopt her third kid
00:52:37.900
when she could barely handle two or it wasn't adopters fostering so they had all kinds of issues
00:52:43.500
she was going on and on about it um yeah hey guys make sure you mute when you get on i'll call you on
00:52:53.220
one by one but i just want to hear the stories um but keep going to alexander go ahead sure um so
00:52:59.940
effectively so she uh she talked to my boss about it before i got into my shift and then as soon as i
00:53:07.560
came up came into the store my boss is like hey can i talk to you for a second and the three of us
00:53:12.480
went into the office and it was a super awkward pause and then my boss starts relaying to me what
00:53:19.040
this co-worker was saying about me i'm like no no if anything i've been very cordial and i've taught
00:53:26.520
them just about anything they know in the store like it's i'm i'm pretty sure nothing like that happened
00:53:31.420
um and uh effectively my boss took my side because i'd been there longer and just because
00:53:40.340
she knew my character yeah and she could read very clearly between the lines that this was
00:53:46.300
obviously a a move to make drama and a manipulation tactic and she could see that she could understand
00:53:55.460
did you tell her to get rid of the kids was that it was it like maybe don't foster
00:53:59.780
kind of yeah i was like maybe don't keep fostering more oh she had like she was also trying to like
00:54:06.040
foster dogs and stuff at the same time she had like two of them it was a whole thing um why do
00:54:11.720
women get animals they're not ready for my sister did this too she got a horse you know what commitment
00:54:17.160
of horses oh my goodness yeah i love horses but man they are a lot of work you got to be ready for
00:54:22.760
yeah i won't lie it died the other day all right tim make sure please i can't i can't i need you to
00:54:32.080
mute till it's your turn i'm gonna call you up but i gotta i gotta keep the show going okay thank you
00:54:37.620
um i struggle production today but yeah my sister i'll tell you what though this this horse died and
00:54:46.060
my dad was so happy he was so happy this thing died because it was such a like oh my gosh it was
00:54:53.640
so expensive for years you know but uh yeah that basically sums up the story um that that co-worker
00:55:02.100
ended up being fired later on but for different reasons um but looking back on it i wonder whether
00:55:08.080
a male boss is the 30s or 40s might have not been a little bit more sympathetic to her and right
00:55:15.860
taking her words at more face value oh so so you almost are less likely to get a false accusation
00:55:23.980
because women hate other women that's the same yeah they can't stand each other yeah oftentimes yeah
00:55:32.400
sad to say i could see where that would make sense well thanks for the story i appreciate you
00:55:37.680
calling in thank you okay every night okay tim you're next what tim is next okay unmute tim
00:55:53.780
tim are you there unmute there you are i'm here buddy i'm here hey tim how's it going
00:56:04.780
i'm good how are you doing pearl love your show thanks for watching what do you think of the topic
00:56:12.000
what's your female boss story oh boy i was in the military
00:56:22.700
okay wait one second do you have my do you have something going in the background
00:56:30.000
do you have my show going in the background tim i think it's echoing like yeah can you pause it hold
00:56:53.140
can you can you mute for a second okay hold on i want to see something because i hear an echo i think
00:57:02.040
it's you could be someone else but i think yeah i think you got something running
00:57:07.500
okay i'm gonna go to i'm gonna go to a different caller try to get rid of the echo and then we'll bring
00:57:14.780
you back okay tim okay all right so we're gonna go to sub just for a second if tim you can mute
00:57:22.660
yourself for a second we'll come back to you oh wait wait i think it's gone how's that i think you
00:57:30.480
fixed it yeah i think you fixed it okay tell me about the military go ahead okay i had a first class
00:57:39.040
pity officer she was a male female and i was a second class pity officer at the time
00:57:45.040
and she would make my life absolutely miserable
00:57:49.920
how so yeah i'm listening what would she do she would send me out on stupid runs
00:58:01.460
like what we did was we were a trouble desk and somebody would call in and say i got a problem
00:58:10.660
with the refrigerator or something like that and uh instead of going to the house first checking out
00:58:19.620
the situation figuring out what was wrong and then coming back to the warehouse if the refrigerator was
00:58:27.020
bad or something was bad she would tell me to go get the appliance first and then swap it out even if
00:58:36.520
the other appliance was still good come to find out on nine times out of ten all it was was a circuit breaker
00:58:44.860
so i was moving around furniture and appliances and everything else knowing that it might have been a
00:58:55.020
circuit breaker wow did um and god yeah go ahead pro did you ever see i've heard military women are
00:59:07.000
complete whores is that true oh i was in i was in dieva garcia back at that time uh the population on
00:59:21.480
yeva garcia was 100 was i'd say 98 percent men and the only women that were on the island
00:59:29.360
were older officers female officers and whenever there was a ship that would come in
00:59:37.440
well the females that were on that ship would come on uh shore for liberty and leave rich
00:59:48.020
they were hookers no these are military females no i meant they were they're having sex for money is
00:59:57.900
that how they would leave rich oh yeah so they were hookers they were hooking themselves
01:00:10.680
and one time one time i want to ask you a question i've always wanted to ask a military
01:00:16.940
person this did you see dealing with female officers that they would emulate the worst part
01:00:24.700
of male leadership trying to be a male in their role as a as a leader in the military
01:00:31.000
because that's what they thought that they should do was that your experience no no i mostly worked
01:00:39.140
under male uh leadership i was mostly in battalions and the only time i was had any type of female
01:00:50.120
leadership was when i was on adack alaska in public works okay but they pretty much were
01:00:59.840
professional you know it was it was just like it was just like the time the only time that that i've seen
01:01:08.980
where women were looking themselves was was the able to see it were they at least hot
01:01:17.280
some weren't but when you've been on an island for for eight and a half months without a single
01:01:27.040
woman on there a number one is a number 10 wow so if you want to bat out of your league go find a
01:01:36.540
boyfriend on that island right if you wanna if you wanna you got eight months to make him fall in love
01:01:46.140
before he finds better options well get this get this one good when i was there they brought up
01:01:53.960
uh we just are almost finishing up with a nine-month deployment and for some reason
01:02:02.540
the upper echelon figure they would bring on miss america and her court
01:02:08.480
and there they had the uh stage it looked like a prison entrance they had chain link fence
01:02:22.540
from one side to the other from the floor all the way to the roof
01:02:26.600
they had two exits or one entrance entrance and one exit and they had vans backed up to those
01:02:36.360
entrances and that's where miss america and her court would exit the van
01:02:43.920
in the stairs go up on stage and underneath chain link fence
01:02:50.000
now later on when uh the uh show was over and all the guys went back home
01:02:59.700
or back to their bunks and everything there's a lot of springs squeaking
01:03:03.740
i've heard the military women get down oh yeah did you ever did you ever date one
01:03:14.700
did you ever like date someone at work uh i mean i started how'd that go it didn't go too well
01:03:23.840
what happened how did it end well have you ever heard that it's your turn that was about it
01:03:35.720
she's not she's not yours but it's your turn where'd she go to like your other colleague
01:03:45.340
she she was uh we were dated we dated for a few months and uh i was on duty and i had to come
01:04:03.260
back home to get something real quick and found them in the bedroom and i was like okay
01:04:12.380
have fun that was the last time i've seen her oh so you were dating her and you found her in your
01:04:19.500
bedroom yeah we had well what we used to do is we used to get an apartment like a two-bedroom
01:04:28.780
or you know something like that and have like three guys go in on one apartment to cut down on the rent
01:04:35.880
money and uh yeah she knew when i had duty and so did he and so when i had duty
01:04:48.460
they started doing the nasty and and like i said i had to come back home for something
01:04:55.260
real quick and then caught him and that was the end of that
01:04:59.580
wow were you mad or were you just like i saw this coming
01:05:03.740
um i kind of saw it coming uh but then again i have been single my whole entire life i am now 65 years
01:05:15.300
old and uh for some reason i have always was happy when the relationship was over
01:05:27.100
i truly believe that there are some people that are meant to have partners be single and i think i
01:05:36.300
fall into the category of meant to be single got it so you're kind of relieved you're like i've had
01:05:46.260
enough of this broad oh yeah i've had oh jeez well i've had several women i had a girlfriend sort of
01:05:56.320
uh i'm not going to mention her name but uh we i known her since i was 12 years old and she was 11
01:06:08.860
and she found out where i was and uh i knew she was married and so i was stationed down in san diego
01:06:23.700
and she gave me a call one day and i says well aren't you married and she goes no i'm no longer
01:06:34.020
i'm no longer an item with my with my husband and she asked if she could come down and visit
01:06:39.480
so i says oh sure you're not married sure so for once i'm not the one that had to pay for the plane
01:06:48.700
or the train ticket get her down there she bought it a round trip ticket so she came down and we had
01:06:58.340
some good times and we went to see uh sea world together and a few other amusement parks down in
01:07:05.240
southern california and so it was time for her to go back
01:07:10.240
so i get a letter in the mail that you know saying how what a wonderful time she had and she
01:07:18.940
and and and everything was wonderful and at the bottom of the letter she wrote would you pay for my
01:07:28.300
divorce oh my god so she asked you to pay for her divorce pay for your divorce you said you were
01:07:38.620
already you weren't you weren't married you you split the sheets so now you want me to pay for a
01:07:46.340
divorce i was messing around with a married woman she could have got you killed oh god you know well
01:07:55.700
speaking of you know don't covet thy neighbor's wife type thing so i sinned not knowing it
01:08:04.960
you know and and i'm not super religious but yeah i i kind of try to maintain a
01:08:13.180
a biblical lifestyle i don't mess around you know and uh boy that ticked me off
01:08:22.360
and what else isn't she telling me did you not pay did you not pay for the divorce
01:08:29.140
oh heck no okay what happened next i i i she lied to me you know that's not a good way to start off a
01:08:43.100
relationship you know what else is she not telling you come to find out she's still living with her
01:08:49.740
mother also so if i would have gotten married to her i would not be just marrying her i would
01:08:58.380
i would definitely have a live-in mother-in-law
01:09:01.620
wow and that's not that's not good so little things like that every every time i get into a
01:09:12.460
relationship there's always something that screws up but then again i'm always so glad when it's over
01:09:18.840
well thanks for calling in tim i'm going to move to the next caller but i do appreciate the story
01:09:26.400

01:10:23.240

01:10:31.660
we got seb i want to hear seb's experience with female bosses feel free to unmute
01:10:37.820
hey how's it going i'm good how are you seb good i hear you're you're from chicago right
01:10:48.220
yeah are you out here too uh i grew up there okay what part um uh you familiar with like the
01:10:57.300
skokines area yeah i know where that's at yeah i grew up in actually it was in morton grove oh nice
01:11:03.900
yeah but i'm out in phoenix now you got away from the cold it's probably smart yeah pretty much
01:11:10.860
everyone everyone that lives here pretty much from michigan wisconsin illinois indiana everyone comes
01:11:18.660
out here so what are your thoughts on the topic female bosses i have uh i have one good story and
01:11:25.560
one bad story okay so uh i used to be a delivery driver for amazon
01:11:33.260
but uh it was uh you know how they have like they're hired but like third party so you don't
01:11:40.120
work directly for amazon for the the drivers are hired by uh by a third party company okay
01:11:48.400
so the first time i worked there well that was back in uh 20 2017
01:11:56.720
and uh we had a real bitch of a boss she um she was divorced twice she was a swinger i found out
01:12:07.220
uh she was just uh like a bitch to everybody always like uh you know being mean like all down down to
01:12:14.700
business and all that crap like she thought she was the shit you know um so a funny story just there
01:12:20.540
was this one guy that started working there on the older gentleman and uh when you when you go into the
01:12:26.940
loading dock where you uh pick up all the packages there was a retired cop that was working in there
01:12:34.600
and um there's like a speed limit i guess you have to come in and she i don't know she like started
01:12:43.100
bitching at him because she saw him driving down the uh into the loading dock and he was going too fast
01:12:49.060
i guess and um she started like chewing him out like hey you gotta slow down or i'm gonna write you up
01:12:55.840
or all that whatever and then the guy's like i'm a retired cop and he like cussed her out like
01:13:01.300
like you know straight up like f you this that he's like i'm a cop you don't know what you're
01:13:06.700
talking about and and he actually like loaded the truck and then he left like he actually walked off
01:13:12.740
the job site so she was she was a big b uh but she uh ended up the the company went under like
01:13:20.860
a little bit after that i quit before then but like i found out through my friends that work there
01:13:26.840
that the company like went under after that wow and then so so i left that company and i actually
01:13:35.180
went back to chicago after that for for about a year and then things didn't work out over there so
01:13:41.700
i came back here and then i found another job with a different company um and uh i also but they were
01:13:50.680
they were a divorced couple that owned the company and uh she was a younger lady they had kids and all
01:13:57.220
that stuff but she was really cool so like she was always understanding she didn't like if you called
01:14:03.500
in sick or whatever then they didn't give you crap or nothing you know and so that's like she was she
01:14:09.140
was completely opposite of the other boss so like i guess it i guess it just depends on how how the
01:14:17.380
person is really so you had one bad experience and one good experience biased i can
01:14:31.720
yeah but for yeah but most of the the men bosses i had they were all pretty cool
01:14:39.040
yeah oh actually i do have another one oh yeah for a bowling alley
01:14:43.620
this this chick uh she was she was a manager there that hired me i was working there part-time
01:14:51.320
because uh like i have my knee surgery crap going on so um i worked uh at a bowling alley part-time it
01:15:00.580
was a fun job it was an awesome job um and this the the manager that hired me she was like in her 50s
01:15:08.600
short blonde like thin she thought she was like hot shit you know
01:15:13.180
and uh uh when she hired me like they told me what the pay rate was right so i signed the paper
01:15:22.000
whatever they they showed they said how much they're gonna pay me hourly and uh and then when i got my
01:15:28.320
first paycheck they it was a different amount that what i signed up for
01:15:32.340
so she like docked me on my pay i was like whatever she docked you out of your how much was it
01:15:39.040
yeah it was like 50 cents oh okay yeah i was like yeah the agreed amount was you know a certain amount
01:15:49.000
and she bumped it down 50 cents less why would she do like what would that's like was it just a mess
01:15:56.000
with you i have no idea maybe okay i could have said something about it but i was like i don't get
01:16:02.340
crap it's not worth it you know yeah but yeah that she was a big time so we're one for three of good
01:16:09.660
female bosses huh one for three yeah you can't be biased you can't be biased at all okay a little bit
01:16:19.240
yeah what if what if what if my editor called in and kill him
01:16:27.340
i'm just kidding okay sorry god hey uh real quick uh what's the weather like out there right now
01:16:35.220
it was pretty nice today actually it was it's been yeah it's been cold but today was really nice
01:16:41.640
yeah we hit like 90 out here today yeah it was beautiful that i was like 60s maybe 50s
01:16:48.940
did you guys get like a lot of snow this winter not a lot of snow but um no not a lot of snow but
01:16:56.560
it was cold i mean you know how it is it gets so cold here it doesn't even snow did lake michigan
01:17:01.940
freeze up i don't know i didn't go to it i'm i'm i'm too far from the city i'm not really there much
01:17:10.000
oh okay yeah you're like more towards like winnetka area i'm not really gonna put the area on the live
01:17:17.360
oh yeah sorry that's okay well thanks so much for calling in sab i'm gonna move to the next caller
01:17:23.920
okay all right cool cramos you can go ahead unmute um hello can you hear me you know guys are so much
01:17:32.740
better with instructions than women i think we had one woman join and she was the one that didn't
01:17:37.320
muter mike you know it's funny sorry god um which one was it cramos grandma yeah okay what's your
01:17:46.740
female boss story well can you hear me good yeah i can hear you perfect okay fine uh first of all i'm
01:17:56.580
from chile okay so um first of all i want to thank you for your content uh it really helped me um
01:18:09.580
from since three years four years ago because i didn't know that there was um a female understanding
01:18:20.440
so many topics about this campaign and what's underneath and reading between the lines
01:18:29.500
so i appreciate it of course thank you so much for watching thank you uh excuse my english you feel free
01:18:40.240
to correct me okay um my female boss story is very simple years ago i worked in the agriculture
01:18:50.240
ministry in the government and i was part of the publicity and communications department
01:18:59.300
we were four three males and one female and my profession is audiovisual communication
01:19:08.960
and i did many presentations for initiative ideas and my boss
01:19:18.360
told me um told me uh after six months uh uh evelyn was my female equal in the department and our boss
01:19:35.800
female boss uh told me uh you need to let evelyn to do your presentations and i was like um okay
01:19:48.360
why and the answer was like um uh because uh we need to send the message that women are capable
01:20:00.300
wait so they took your presentation many of them sorry i don't mean to laugh but what the hell
01:20:13.820
tragically comedic yeah uh because i i had to teach evelyn how to um do the presentation about my ideas
01:20:27.720
and wait wait so you would you had to teach her how to do a presentation about your ideas
01:20:36.280
did you did you did you quit no uh because uh guys are so nice they're just like whatever
01:20:43.620
so you did all the work for the presentation and they had to give the presentation away oh my goodness
01:20:51.240
yes um it was like um strange and my feeling uh at the beginning was like uh okay something is going
01:21:02.420
you know because they my boss wants to give the credit to my equal partner in the department
01:21:11.260
and uh i'm not uh pursuing credit in in general in my life so it was like uh we have uh i can hear
01:21:23.240
him doug i can hear him fine can you hear me i can okay on the website i think they can hear him too i
01:21:31.320
think it might be doug i think are you there doug i think it's you
01:21:35.760
was it yeah i because i can hear him fine sorry keep going it's okay i'll mute no worries
01:21:43.760
well anyway uh for me it was like uh okay no um she can have all the credit for my ideas because
01:21:53.320
we did this the agriculture minister minister in chile is built uh by 12 organism different kinds of
01:22:03.580
organism institutions so okay we did this we have to do this presentations with the minister
01:22:11.960
agriculture minister so it was like a very big deal so she was doing the presentations of my ideas
01:22:21.940
because that was my female boss order i don't want to lose i didn't want to lose my job but i was like
01:22:30.960
uh okay there's a higher goal here to benefit uh farmers agriculture family agriculture so i'm not going to
01:22:41.880
stop the information of my ideas just because she was getting the credit but um after
01:22:50.620
uh two months of this practice uh she started like treating me like i was her employee
01:23:00.080
so that's when i start feeling bad because i told my boss okay i'm gonna teach her to do the
01:23:10.620
presentations of my ideas i have no problem but please tell her that stop that she need to stop
01:23:19.560
treating me treating me like i am her employee because she did start you know so she took your ideas and
01:23:27.540
then started bossing you around yeah wow so that was the the point where i told my female boss
01:23:37.540
hey i i i have no problem i have no problem to give her my presentations but uh please tell her to
01:23:47.020
stop bossing me because uh i'm having problem with that because it was this um uh attitude this behavior of
01:23:58.080
hey do this are you ready with this did you done that and i was like uh okay stop so
01:24:04.660
anyway um after that this other boss female of an uh one institution inside the minister told me
01:24:16.480
hey hey be cool uh i know that all these presentations are your ideas um so i told her hey but
01:24:27.540
this evelyn girl she's bossing me around now and that i don't like it so she told me very simple
01:24:35.800
you need to tell the boss the female boss or you can take um a decision so my decision was to quit
01:24:46.160
and i did um i have a lot of contacts in press so i did a very large letter about how my female boss
01:24:59.460
order me to keep my female equal all the credit of my ideas you did a letter to who or many
01:25:09.260
press newsletter did they pick it up did they pick it up some of them wow what what did the company say
01:25:19.100
like when uh i quit i put the letters up and the threat started like uh we're gonna ruin your job
01:25:29.120
you're not gonna have any job again in the government because you're disrespecting the privacy and i was like
01:25:36.420
you know what fuck y'all all the respects sorry but that's okay so the papers picked this up
01:25:44.180
and was the woman did any backlash come to her or no no she was like uh please don't do this why are
01:25:54.380
you doing this and i was like um because you let you were bossing me yeah yeah because in in the in the
01:26:03.420
in the papers in the press papers some of the female bosses of other institutions helped me and
01:26:10.100
uh confirmed my idea you know got it well i'm sorry that happened but that's a very funny story
01:26:19.860
you know yeah yeah thanks thanks so much for sharing i gotta move to the next caller but
01:26:26.180
call in any time all right thank you um i'm gonna read the chat wrote sorry doug did you want to go

digits today but you know i don't want a different time um okay they're going back and forth i think
01:27:31.900
that's it on the website i'm gonna check in on rumble rassol says what's up and it's a power trip
01:27:37.740
we're at 74 viewers on one rumble i'm trying to build that up so maybe we can get to 100
01:27:44.360
pearl hang in there you rock i couldn't remember how to dual stream on rumble till recently so we just
01:27:51.880
got that back up and going again okay doug who'd you say was next apollo dd okay are you there
01:28:00.560
yeah i'm here oh hey how's it going apollo hi pearl so i just wanted i just wanted to get like
01:28:11.280
your opinion on this so i work with a ton of women and they're all like in a clique i guess you could
01:28:18.940
say and i'm the youngest there so they're all like 30s to like 50s and i'm like 24 so i don't know if
01:28:27.320
that's a factor but i swear anytime i do anything there's this one lady there she's been there for
01:28:33.780
probably i think she told me 30 years anytime i do anything she has to say something and you can
01:28:40.140
never just have a conversation with this lady she has to have a conversation with you and she has to
01:28:45.920
make sure everyone around you can hear what's going on and then she has to like demean you the whole
01:28:51.920
time she's talking to you but if you say anything to her then she acts like the victim like
01:28:57.240
oh my gosh i can't believe she just said that can you believe she just said that to me what's the
01:29:01.620
industry uh it's phones like cell phones like at&t oh okay okay fine oh you don't have to say the
01:29:13.880
company you know it's okay it's all right um and you're the youngest one there by like what a decade
01:29:20.780
um yeah yeah you still got hope in your voice you're cooked sorry
01:29:26.580
do you hear do you hear the pleasantness in her voice doug i mean she's done they'll hear that
01:29:37.940
they're like a young happy woman let me ruin her
01:29:44.780
can't have that no sorry go ahead go the story i wanted to tell you this was something that
01:29:52.800
happened um so the girl that's like the manager there she's a part of the lgbtq community and i'll
01:30:01.600
just tell you like i come from a more like conservative background so i don't know much
01:30:06.700
about the lgbtq community i've never like grown up with friends with that so i don't know the right
01:30:11.760
terminology and so what happened was um there was a customer there that didn't speak english
01:30:18.200
and i guess she got upset and she got frustrated and she left and the co-worker came up to me and
01:30:24.460
she was complaining that the um person was being rude to her and she said she doesn't even speak
01:30:30.940
english why she needs to go back where she came from and i didn't say anything but i was like okay
01:30:36.380
maybe she was just being prejudiced against you you know for being a dyke being a lesbian
01:30:41.920
and she laughed and agreed with me and then everything continued so i thought nothing happened
01:30:46.880
so i didn't think anything of it an hour later my manager walks through the door and pulls me into
01:30:53.220
the back and she's like visibly upset and this is the other woman she's like shaking while talking
01:30:59.660
me as if her adrenaline's rushing and she's like hey um you're getting written up and you get to go
01:31:06.540
home and i was so confused i'm like why what's going on she's like well you just called so and so
01:31:12.220
a slur in fact it's just as bad as saying the n-word and i'm like what are you talking about
01:31:17.740
what are you even talking about and she's like yeah you called her a dyke you can't say that i'm
01:31:22.120
like i never called her a dyke i was insinuating that somebody was prejudiced against her because of
01:31:28.020
her identity no they're scared and i was consoling her they're scared of the lesbians the one lawsuit
01:31:33.580
they gotta they gotta throw you under the bus oh my god are you so fast are you do you have like a
01:31:40.040
race card or like a no you if they're all women you can't oh you should have pulled that you bit
01:31:44.540
like she's a racist yeah but they didn't even care they didn't even care the only time i've i
01:31:52.500
pulled out the race card is against these wokey woke lgbtht tvs i'm telling you yeah whip it out
01:32:00.120
especially if they're like you know purple haired white liberals oh my god the manager has didn't
01:32:07.860
care yeah tell them say why are you trying to police a a black person or a person of color
01:32:14.380
speech because i hate i hate the race card but i use against wokey woke all the time
01:32:19.160
i was like she was just being racist and you know with my ethnic background i could have been
01:32:27.720
upset about it but i wasn't so like not only that so i'll tell you what else happened so the next day
01:32:33.360
they took me off the schedule so they took me down from five days to three days because she didn't
01:32:37.840
feel safe working around me after me saying that word well that's almost like problem solved then
01:32:45.200
you didn't have to deal with her it's almost a blessing isn't it it's like when women give you
01:32:51.960
this silent treatment you're like wow this is amazing but like can you believe that she doesn't
01:32:58.500
feel safe around me like she physically thinks i'm like dangerous now do you know what i'm really not
01:33:03.800
about pulling the race card i would pull it in this situation and i'm really not for that at all
01:33:10.480
but i would pull it back i would say doug can we we should brainstorm how can she pull the race card
01:33:17.400
next time something like this happens doug i have an expert doug on the line yeah so if you um
01:33:26.120
the worst thing for especially a white liberal is to be called a racist that's what they hate the
01:33:33.780
they hate the most so if you want to stop that conversation even just whip that out say you
01:33:41.000
know what you i feel like you're being racist to me right now you trying to police my experience
01:33:47.240
and police my language i don't really appreciate that very much they'll stop dead in their tracks
01:33:53.520
it doesn't matter what you say once you say that everything stops are the other people white
01:33:58.880
oh please be white yes yes pull it i knew it let me tell you i'm gonna follow so i was i was at
01:34:10.360
an office party no i was um this is way back when i first started in my first career and we had the
01:34:19.860
first christmas party i was at in an actual office i got people gifts and then i i gave this woman to get
01:34:26.660
it was something small and i said merry christmas and she was jewish i didn't know could be if you're
01:34:35.100
not supposed to ask people's religious affiliation right and she had like nothing about her that she
01:34:39.540
was jewish she had the nerve to go to corporate to go to management and say that i offended her because
01:34:47.520
i i said merry christmas because she was jewish oh my god you can't say merry christmas yeah and that
01:34:56.380
was the very first time because we had a mediation meeting they brought me and her and my boss in an
01:35:04.460
office and we had to hash it out oh my god how dare you be nice yeah that was the first time i'd ever
01:35:11.900
told her i was like you know i don't appreciate you policing my language as a black person so i said
01:35:17.080
look give me the gift back because it's going to be this way and petty i'll be petty too and then
01:35:23.840
we worked together for two more years i avoided her like the plague i never said another word to her
01:35:29.660
for two years hold a race card but i think it's time it's time let me ask you a question so i don't
01:35:36.860
know much about the lgbtq community but is that really a bad word the word dyke yeah to them i mean
01:35:43.880
not to me but i'm me yeah not to but to the woke they might i mean that you can't even say retard
01:35:51.880
anymore they take everything they take everything fun away you're better off not knowing so so don't
01:35:59.880
waste your time yeah well thanks so much for calling this show i didn't know women watch so
01:36:07.180
this is very exciting for us here thanks uh we're gonna move on to the next caller but call back any
01:36:14.020
time and keep me posted i want to hear how this goes okay have a great day pearl you too bye
01:36:20.580
hey brian megan i heard brian we got unmute brian brian brian megan okay we'll go on i think james was
01:36:36.180
next is there a james there i don't see him yeah james is there yeah hi hey oh now i see him hey james
01:36:47.000
how's it going how's it going how's it going good i'm a fan of your show thank you so much i appreciate
01:36:53.560
you watching tell me um what's your female boss experience so i i actually got like uh three
01:37:02.700
stories of like uh actually it's funny because it's actually three stories of like one of them
01:37:09.440
i'm a teacher i know i know i know what i'm thinking i know no no i'm kicking you no you're
01:37:16.260
getting kicked out no you're getting kicked out
01:37:30.080
you went under you went under freaking james you didn't think i'd recognize your voice
01:37:40.060
oh my god i can't all right tell me tell me tell me your female i will never say my experience
01:37:48.860
working with you tell me your female boss story go ahead go ahead i actually got three uh female boss
01:37:57.180
stories that are shocking okay go ahead go ahead so the first of all i mean probably you know that
01:38:03.380
i'm from colombia basically yeah and so there i i started um i went to like a man-only school
01:38:11.180
but for some reason uh the kids that were like in in nursery and in first grade of uh elementary school
01:38:24.680
because even though that it was like a very uh catholic school you know man-only you know for some
01:38:30.820
reason you know they put these women there because they thought you know it would be better for the
01:38:35.260
kids and so the thing is that um sometimes when for example an english teacher would leave
01:38:42.300
then she would take over and she was like very fun with us very like charismatic
01:38:48.180
and she would for example draw like caricatures of us like on the on the boards and stuff like that
01:38:55.380
and so she was like very very funny and like even would make like challenges so
01:39:01.060
whoever had the best grades would go with her like on pizza
01:39:04.740
uh pizza friday for example after school like she would take them to pizza
01:39:09.520
and the thing is that i remember that uh one day we're having like an english class and she's showing
01:39:16.400
like i don't know how else how is it called in english but she's showing like uh on top under inside
01:39:22.240
outside and all of this and anyways like so she starts and she's like okay uh kids it was like a
01:39:28.700
30 kids class classroom and she's like okay kids um everybody take off your shoes and put it on top
01:39:35.440
of the table and you know the 30 kids we take off our shoes and we put it on top of the table and you
01:39:40.760
know everything's fun then she's like okay kids take off your belt and put it inside the drawer and you
01:39:48.080
know we were kids seven years old kids you know all male and we're like okay you know and we we take
01:39:53.320
it off and we put it inside drawers then she says okay kids now take off your shirt and put
01:39:58.680
it inside the backpack and you know we put it inside the backpack some of us i remember you
01:40:03.760
know it was like four of us who actually got like so uncomfortable and i think she kind of notices
01:40:09.520
even she noticed it and she was like okay if you guys don't want to do it like you can just
01:40:14.320
keep sitting down and then she was like all right we're gonna go for the final step kids take off
01:40:20.480
your pants totally and put it next to your chair and you know it was like literally 25 kids
01:40:28.520
inside the the room like what well of course in underwears but you know i remember i was just
01:40:37.620
seven years old and i was like there's something weird about this and you know um anyway so years
01:40:44.340
passed the next year like for some reason she disappeared completely uh out of the school
01:40:50.000
and then like right now um i now it's been i think uh what 11 you know 21 years since that
01:41:00.080
and i've got two friends that confessed to me last year that they got raped by these women
01:41:06.260
at seven so exactly what many of us are thinking that many many of the kids uh that you know went
01:41:15.880
through these women got raped and you know they're not even gonna go forward and speak about it
01:41:20.120
because you know they're like there's no way i'm talking about this you know yeah holy shit
01:41:25.560
then next story to make it quickly i made a i made a like a event company in in florida when
01:41:33.340
like in 2013 and so we would like make private parties or nightclub parties and stuff like that and
01:41:41.600
we would like fill it up we would make like all the marketing stuff the videos and you know i started
01:41:46.840
this company with two girls that were like very hot girls in colombia and so they moved to florida
01:41:53.720
because they were like starting on gainesville or something something like that and anyways we
01:41:59.200
started this company it was just us three and we started making parties it became very popular
01:42:04.640
because these these were like very hot girls and you know they were super popular so they got like
01:42:09.400
every you know hispanic person in florida to go to these parties and then they bring a girl which
01:42:17.980
was my first experience with women working in the marketing sector especially where there are a
01:42:24.680
bunch of women that don't do anything and they just like literally they just get paid for being a
01:42:31.440
marketer or whatever the hell that's called and so in the end so she joins and during the first
01:42:38.240
couple of years like uh everything was fine but sometimes she would say like oh i want this to
01:42:44.520
be that way like out of the sudden she would change like and because she was there in florida like she
01:42:49.480
could like kind of take these decisions and so she started like always like this like just to mention i
01:42:55.180
know this girl from colombia she was like this rich girl with you know like perfect grades beautiful
01:43:01.360
body beautiful face you know all the friends the the boyfriends the the cars all that so
01:43:07.060
she was always like very oh yeah you know the way okay and so to make it short she started like
01:43:15.900
changing everything and after like four years like she nacked me up to the point where i just said to
01:43:21.140
the people that they could keep the company and i left without anything related to the company
01:43:26.360
and basically you know the company for like still makes money like and and it's like um i always
01:43:34.040
look back i don't even regret leaving the company because in the end it was just parties you know in
01:43:38.440
florida of latinos and that's it but i always think of that girl i'm like holy crap like she really got
01:43:44.580
into my into my blood and my nerves like imagine imagine if you married her you know no
01:43:52.260
and the last story the last story is the weirdest oh no hold on my audio just cut hold on yeah
01:44:01.700
wait go back i accidentally unplugged say that one more time your last story yeah i just got the
01:44:06.660
last story just i'm gonna make it make it as short as possible because i gotta finish some stuff right
01:44:10.680
now okay and basically like during some time i moved to to spain and from there i was working uh
01:44:21.080
like in the entertainment sector as well i've always been around like the parties music and
01:44:26.020
that kind of bs sector and so like when i go to spain i start working with these women
01:44:33.180
who is like a manager like an international manager for like artists and stuff like that
01:44:38.580
and like when i start talking with her she tells me that she's married you know she has a family and
01:44:45.500
all of that stuff that's when i met her and i started working with her um remotely and thereafter
01:44:50.820
a year she's like uh i want to kind of adopt you and i want to bring you to south south spain with
01:44:58.760
me so you can work more closely we're gonna have more events you know we're gonna move all around
01:45:04.160
spain and so anyways i moved there and you know for when like my first reaction when i got home is that
01:45:12.380
there was no man in the house when i opened the the the house door after like an uber left me there
01:45:19.040
i i basically see her daughter who was like 16 years old like in in panties you know in the
01:45:25.900
underwear and basically i'm like a little bit shocked and then i go into the room there's these
01:45:31.600
women and i asked her for uh ask her for her husband who supposedly was the guy i was speaking
01:45:39.520
the most in that year and she's like oh no she he he left for for a trip you know it doesn't matter
01:45:45.900
we'll we'll start working some stuff out and that's it so anyways uh i'm working with her there
01:45:52.620
for almost a year hectic year where you know uh i she wouldn't like answer like to my invoices never
01:46:01.540
would pay me on time you know uh even like she was supposed like she would leave for like uh one
01:46:07.440
month season and she wouldn't like pay the electrical bills of the house or water so like literally one
01:46:13.200
day i would be like okay i'm gonna take a shower today because there's no running water in the
01:46:17.260
house literally and anyways like they where it gets weird is that after a year uh i'm working with
01:46:26.700
her i don't know anything about the husband and she just tells me that she broke up with this guy
01:46:32.940
like supposedly eight months ago you know that was like four months after i arrived and i'm like
01:46:38.640
okay anyways and you know she explains me that she's the owner of the house that she has like a
01:46:44.340
lot of money and all of this and that she can work with me you know and do everything perfect and where
01:46:51.100
it gets weird there are many weird stuff where like she even tried to put me with her like 17 years
01:46:56.820
old daughter like she made me sleep in the same bed with her even what was yeah supposedly there was
01:47:03.880
like no room in the house like on the first on the first week like literally she was like oh there
01:47:09.900
are i don't have any rooms and the room that i've got is full of boxes so you gotta sleep here with my
01:47:14.440
with my daughter and i literally i was like okay this is super uncomfortable but anyways i mean i thought
01:47:20.860
it was like separate like a big room with separate beds and when i open the room it's like the daughter
01:47:25.120
is sleeping the bed and i just gotta get inside with her and i'm like there's i literally like
01:47:29.800
they're trying to catch they're trying to like catch a charge holy shit yeah no no it's not in
01:47:35.300
the end like like the the whole story i might tell you like even one day like these women i found out
01:47:41.340
she's associated like with nargs and stuff like that like some crazy stuff but anyways where it gets
01:47:47.720
super weird is that one night um i've got my room and she had like this big mansion and i've got my room
01:47:56.220
and i'm sleeping and one night like i literally just wake up out of the sudden and i've got her
01:48:03.700
literally like trying to get in the bed with me like and she's like trying to explain me that you
01:48:11.980
know this is normal that she started like catching feelings for me and all of that and literally that
01:48:17.340
same night like uh i kind of like was so shocked that i just left the i left the the room and i mean i
01:48:25.420
took like uh i took everything what i could i actually left like a bunch of stuff there because
01:48:29.840
i was like bro i just want to get the hell out of here out of here like for one hour she was trying
01:48:34.040
to explain me like not violent or anything like that but she was like sorry and then she was like
01:48:39.140
no but let's do this and then sorry and let's do that and anyways i get out of the house i i take like
01:48:45.080
a uber to the airport and they're like i waited for the next day and then i i i caught a flight to
01:48:51.500
to london basically wow and that's so then you met me now that you say that the free to one
01:48:57.600
experience i can tell you it might be kind of true you know the what the what the free to one
01:49:03.400
experience oh the three to one three out of four
01:49:05.860
got it well dang i want to call you by your real name but i won't i was about to say it
01:49:15.640
okay well i'm i'm glad you didn't have any other stories chains yeah and there won't be any other
01:49:27.540
okay good um sorry dog go ahead we're gonna do brian are you there brian
01:49:38.220
you you got on camera a little bit ago there you are unmute um
01:49:45.420
brian unmute unmute you're still muted you're still muted you are still muted my friend
01:49:57.600
you're on mute all right we'll go to we'll go to julian are you there
01:50:07.600
yeah i'm sure you hear me yeah go ahead yeah sorry um yeah i've had mixed reactions right
01:50:17.600
one of my best bosses was actually one what sorry before before you go what industry are you in
01:50:24.300
just helps me contextualize yeah i've been in a lot of industries so right now i'm in tech before that
01:50:30.820
i was in business observations uh biz devops all right um so right now i'm in it um before
01:50:37.540
i was in business operations and that woman i think she was good because she had spent 20
01:50:42.620
years in the foreign service so she had an accountability mechanism above her so if she failed
01:50:47.900
messed up she'd go to prison right you know you really mess up in foreign service you you can go to
01:50:54.100
jail or prison um my worst boss was also a woman and i you know i'll go to the worst boss and the big
01:51:01.800
thing is she was very invasive in my personal life and the way she did it was by asking questions that
01:51:09.700
i didn't want to answer but then trying to ingratiate herself all the time to try and form this fake
01:51:15.040
relationship and i found this out very this was very early in my career um but she found out that
01:51:22.000
you know uh she wanted to find out about my family find out about who was dating um all these
01:51:27.440
different types of things and when she found out all these things she held them against me because
01:51:31.720
she didn't approve of certain portions of it and that is where what wait how did she okay how did that
01:51:38.300
come up so she asks you like who you're dating and then she says at work like you shouldn't date her
01:51:43.980
or no uh she asks uh so are you taking any time off yeah i'm gonna take time off to spend them with
01:51:51.520
my girlfriend oh who's your girlfriend well girl i've been seeing since i was in college you know
01:51:58.680
we had a good time we've been enjoying each other's company we're gonna go to you know pick strawberries
01:52:04.780
or apples or whatever um but yeah it's gonna be you know long weekend so it'll be a good time and this
01:52:11.060
is me being naive just expecting you know everything's okay approved we're gonna go off in that
01:52:16.120
um and you know she asked she started asking more pointed questions started digging a little bit
01:52:22.500
deeper and you know she found out oh this is my girlfriend big thing that really set it apart
01:52:28.500
why it made it so terrible towards my end of my tenure at the company i was there for about four years
01:52:33.880
um another girl was hired on who she just got along with they were girlfriends almost right and they had
01:52:41.820
their own falling out eventually that girl who was hired on had a crush on me i had no interest in
01:52:49.380
her one it's a co-worker i don't want to mess with the co-worker be honest yeah oh yeah she was fat
01:52:55.700
i knew it yeah i'm like zero zero interest i'm like really zero zero interest man she she she looked
01:53:05.620
like an apple with sticks okay but she she had that she was bad bill she was a badly made woman okay um
01:53:13.200
and she was very aggressive you know she she she sent uh pictures of her naked she sent pictures of her
01:53:21.040
like genitalia up close and she was fat too they weren't even good pictures i know it was this one
01:53:29.640
white or black uh which one i mean both of them were black but yeah okay okay go ahead
01:53:35.560
no um but i just expressed no interest reported it to hr and you know told my boss about it my boss
01:53:43.120
is like sure i'll talk about this after the fact she found out this is when she found out my girlfriend
01:53:48.640
was not black and oh man here we go oh no yeah yeah yeah and she she was not she was very she was very
01:53:57.340
good about letting me or about not letting me know that that was an issue but that became an issue of why
01:54:03.540
well a couple weeks before my annual review came up it went from four stars to all of a sudden you're
01:54:10.840
going to be on performance enhancement oh you know and there's at that point you pretty much need to
01:54:16.760
look for a new job and so i did and went through the pip and got laid off i don't know five weeks later
01:54:25.580
and you know there was nothing i could do about it because you know it turned into i need to check
01:54:29.900
every email you send i need to check every work product you send before you send it to the person
01:54:35.100
you're sending it to it's not you um so it becomes a control situation you know you're going to comply
01:54:41.840
you're going to submit and it wasn't good and it set me back uh you know it turned into good reason why
01:54:51.580
i took a couple months off left the country came back a year later um and i realized one
01:54:59.020
certain certain people are not meant to be in leadership two um if they're in leadership you
01:55:05.820
cannot share your personal information at all like you should have just a standard non
01:55:11.280
non-true story or something you can stick with with parts of the truth right so if you're
01:55:17.640
working for a company that likes families then you're just a family guy right if you're working
01:55:22.520
for a startup you don't have a family and you have to figure out how do you sell yourself because that
01:55:27.720
even your your existence as a person your status romantically that has to be a portion of it and i
01:55:34.040
think women take that into an account a lot more and if you're if you violate their internal rules
01:55:40.740
that are beyond the company's rules you're cooked right so do you find that to be the same with men
01:55:48.700
like men will evaluate you based on like if you're like if you're married or um single guy whatever
01:55:58.380
it's a mixed bag i think i think generally all right so all right america the majority of men
01:56:09.020
that are going to be in hiring manager positions going to be white men about 40 to 60 somewhere in
01:56:15.660
that neighborhood okay most of them are family guys right they they got their wife they got the kids
01:56:19.940
they want to work they want to do their job but then something's going to pop up i think most of
01:56:23.700
those guys just want somebody who can solve the problems they want somebody to take the burden off
01:56:28.160
their hands so they don't really care as much about your romantic status but they do like family
01:56:35.540
guys so that's where it pays to have like a format where you can just lie or you know shape the truth
01:56:44.000
and just say yeah i'm a family guy i want this position right but a lot of those guys also
01:56:49.520
they suffer from a lot of this you know frustration of not being taken fully seriously outside of their
01:56:55.820
job as much as they are on their job and so those guys have a different issue that they're going
01:57:00.800
through yeah okay they're more fair though yeah go ahead go ahead this is a question that's separate
01:57:11.320
from pearl but you know i'm i'm a black professional just like you have you found it in your experience
01:57:19.560
that in an academic and professional setting you're you usually you're the person that treats you the
01:57:26.700
worst or your worst enemy or your arch nemesis is another black person uh all right so i i know
01:57:33.940
what you're getting that all right so i'll tell you this because i'll say it i'll say it most of the
01:57:38.960
time this has nothing to do with pearl this is just dug in pa um most of my professional jobs
01:57:47.220
it's been a black woman that's given me the most hell of work i'll say that as someone that will not
01:57:54.460
help me the what at all i'll be more diplomatic i'll say um the best sorry from a business
01:58:00.420
perspective that the ones who will take you at your your technical skill and knowledge it's going
01:58:07.820
to be white 99 of the time well let's say 90 of the time it's going to be it's going to be like
01:58:13.920
middle-aged white guy who just needs you to help solve their problem so they look good
01:58:17.840
yep god i'm i'm like but it's really like how professional minded are you that's the big thing
01:58:23.620
i'm envisioning my dad right now as you guys are talking like he does not care you could be you could
01:58:29.100
be like a a vegan leftist with three girlfriends and a boyfriend and he will not care if you can
01:58:37.240
make his life easier and save him time he does not care yeah they want to solve problems yeah and like
01:58:44.740
they know i can tell them what they need to hear i can demonstrate what i need to solve
01:58:48.820
what i can alleviate from their burdens and then they pay me my money and i'll get out of their hair
01:58:55.600
and it's the basic thing and and to me you sound like the kind of person like i always say on my
01:59:01.640
channel you know it's not about finding a passion it's not about being happy at work it's about
01:59:08.880
getting the job done and and having a job that gives you dignity respect and the finances to live
01:59:17.360
the life you want on your terms or to support a family if you so choose but one of the reasons why
01:59:22.640
women are so terrible to each other is they bring in all this stuff oh you know we have to all get
01:59:26.680
along together on a personal level we all have to be happy at work we all have to find our passion no we
01:59:32.020
don't oh yeah i don't i don't want i don't want a bagel lunch i don't want a pizza lunch i don't want
01:59:37.500
any other like stress balls i don't want any of that shit if you want to do any of that garbage send
01:59:42.320
it to me in a check that can be counted as a stipend you know internet stipend cell phone stipend
01:59:48.160
something along those lines i don't need to be best friends with the people if i get along with people
01:59:51.880
i work with fantastic but i don't need to get along with you other than how do we solve the problem
01:59:57.960
that we're all tasked with that's that's that's the basic thing yeah a lot more women are not they're
02:00:03.660
not qualified for that and it's you know there are wins who are out there who do that and you don't
02:00:09.060
hear many complaints from or about them but a lot more who get in the positions they want to exercise
02:00:15.000
control they want to get you to comply in certain ways that just don't make any sense for the job
02:00:19.700
i'm coming in here to share this carpet get the job done see the direct deposit and then live my life
02:00:26.140
and if i get along with a couple of people you invite me to your wedding fantastic if you don't
02:00:31.140
fantastic i don't really care about that i want the job i want to get the job done there you go yeah
02:00:37.140

02:00:54.080
okay i think that's all i got doug any final thoughts on female bosses um women can't stand
02:01:06.780
each other guys the only time they come together is against the patriarchy and men but other than that
02:01:13.600
they can't stand each other what do you think about long-lasting female friendships like the
02:01:18.780
ones you know because i know some friend groups that have been together for a while what's your
02:01:23.040
thought on those um female friends will last until one of them gets into a social relationship
02:01:29.720
where they get married then it's over yeah or or if any of those women get happy for some reason
02:01:37.720
they find you know this if they're successful in business if they you know if they find some kind
02:01:49.480
of passion or something women can't women can't stand each other guys yeah so that's it well thanks
