JustPearlyThings - She Tried Using Racism To Justify Feminism

00:00:00.000 true that's why i think feminism in my opinion is the problem when people want to label things 1.00

00:00:06.960 you don't want all of the same things we're all very different women we have different experience

00:00:11.120 different careers different ones so if you start saying feminism you start labeling everybody it's 1.00

00:00:15.440 a problem because a black woman's freaking experience is not the same as a white woman 1.00

00:00:19.440 so we our feminism doesn't look the same so when everybody's saying oh women empower yourselves 1.00

00:00:23.760 we can't empower ourselves the same way some women work some don't so we have a mother some 1.00

00:00:27.360 women are not mothers he's like don't put me under the same what is a black woman what does that have

00:00:31.120 to do with feminism it has to do with feminism because for example for me just knowing the 0.91

00:00:35.840 difference between my empowerment and the empowerment of my white girlfriends it's very different i have

00:00:41.520 bigger struggles to overcome so when somebody's telling me oh feminism empower yourself we're all 1.00

00:00:45.200 the same no we're not we're quite different the same way that i don't believe that racism is actually

00:00:50.320 something that many people should be speaking on because even that black experience is totally 1.00

00:00:54.800 different depending on where you're from what class you come from so women are not all the same 1.00

00:00:58.800 just because we are women this is like everything you're saying is why people think that feminists 1.00

00:01:02.960 are just chatting because like what does racism i'm not a feminist so i don't really care and i brought

00:01:06.880 feminism as a as a comparison point because i'm just trying to explain that when you put people in 1.00

00:01:11.520 the same bag every single time it causes problems so you don't actually get to understand what the

00:01:15.760 genuine problem is and you start saying oh we want this but then you don't know what it's victim mindset

00:01:20.640 yeah it's it's having a victim mindset i'm black i'm a woman i need empowerment i need this

00:01:25.040 to move forward no it's not a victimization it's a fact because i know i lived that experience you may

00:01:29.600 not and on top of that i'm also an immigrant so i already know that my experience is different so when

00:01:33.600 i'm talking about empowerment and you're an immigrant too there's a lot of ways you're victimizing yourself

00:01:38.000 i'm not victimized i'm empowering myself because i'm a g i made it through the problem i don't really

00:01:41.920 care about whether or not it was a situation but that's wokeness you empower yourself by victimizing

00:01:46.320 yourself no i follow myself by understanding that perhaps i may have a bigger hill to climb so i'll

00:01:51.200 train harder it's what you're leading with though it's certainly what you're leading with your race

00:01:56.080 your gender and your and your immigration of course you're leading with that is that your identity

00:01:59.920 and understand that when i'm a feminist too what about what you've done in the world instead of all 0.99

00:02:04.240 of these other things in the world okay then why not leave with those i'm an educator as well okay

00:02:08.240 and i understand the difference between me going into that that job versus other people i work with

00:02:13.840 different types of racism what i'm trying to say is i'm not trying to make this about racism i'm

00:02:17.440 simply making a comparison to explain what you did no no no you certainly did and let me tell you why

00:02:21.840 because i'm making a comparison so it's an analogy to explain another problem when you put everybody in

00:02:26.800 the same basket it doesn't work that's why feminism doesn't work it's not a good thing because i don't 1.00

00:02:31.920 relate to feminists because the problems are not just caused by gender the problems are caused by these 1.00

00:02:35.840 other factors that you're talking yes but it's caused by so many different things there's different

00:02:39.280 elements to it so don't box me in so that's why i don't think feminism is good you neglect the people 1.00

00:02:43.600 that actually do need empowering and i don't think it's fair to say that she shouldn't lead with

00:02:47.680 her race and all of these things because when you look at us the first thing you do see is my race

00:02:51.680 if i am a tv presenter you're not going to it's the first thing i see when it's the first thing you say

00:02:55.360 when i see you i see a woman i don't see a black girl maybe that's just you but the majority you're 0.94

00:02:58.800 gonna already have this stigma of me because here's the problem with you doing that i say this with love

00:03:02.560 but if you have that top of mind all the time you're going to suppress yourself but that's literally

00:03:07.120 that's life like that's going to you're going to suppress yourself we can't change it and that is like

00:03:10.560 that's like me assuming that y'all are going to hate me because i'm a straight white male

00:03:14.000 why would i think that about you guys when we could just get along so i don't understand like

00:03:17.760 why are you being so challenging when i said because because i hate to hear it coming out of your mouth

00:03:21.920 because it's a poisonous thing for you to think next to feminists and i'm saying whatever your 1.00

00:03:26.080 empowerment movement is is not the same as mine so don't actually label me to be in that situation

00:03:30.960 and say oh women want oh i'm not labeling you i'm simply telling you what exactly what you said

00:03:35.280 no no no no no exactly what you said what do you think about feminine i said i'm black i'm an

00:03:39.360 immigrant all this that's literally what you just said that's exactly let me rephrase it so you can

00:03:44.880 understand it please so essentially if i stand next to a feminist yeah for example a white woman i don't 1.00

00:03:50.720 relate to you because i'm okay wait wait wait let me finish can i finish you're about to say i can't box

00:03:55.360 myself in with you because i'm black that's not what i'm saying say it then what i'm saying is i am not the 0.98

00:03:59.920 same woman as you what i want and what i see to be empowerment is not the same whether it's culturally whether it's 0.62

00:04:04.720 racially whether it's professionally academically personally whatever we are all very different

00:04:09.360 women cannot be boxed into the same box because we're not the same because you're different races 1.00

00:04:13.440 because of different experiences as women so you're making an anti-feminist you're you're making 0.97

00:04:17.440 anti-feminist argument but you want to have other you want to have other things to complain about 1.00

00:04:22.080 i've got i've got a lot of victim balance yeah i i know the things that are not right and i know the

00:04:27.520 things that are right it's not just black and white there's gray areas in the middle that's why i

00:04:31.920 mentioned for example things like race is a gray area in the middle that makes it say oh yeah

00:04:36.000 feminism may not actually be as accurate as people are saying that is why people come across feminists 1.00

00:04:40.480 and they don't know what they want because one wants this the other one wants this and the other

00:04:43.920 one wants this because they are different and that is why feminism in my opinion is destructive 1.00

00:04:49.440 and i don't think she's playing victim i think she's just acknowledging a serious issue in society

00:04:54.720 racism yes are we gonna act like racism doesn't exist yeah it doesn't no racism is not a problem that's

00:05:00.400 how they keep people broken at the bottom and arguing about nothing and thinking that they're

00:05:03.600 victims all the time like a problem it's not it's not a problem when you believe it your

00:05:07.920 existence problem then isn't it okay my point is your existence is a sum of your beliefs and your

00:05:13.600 thoughts and if you're always thinking that i'm a victim because i'm black i'm not a feminist because 0.66

00:05:17.840 of this i'm an immigrant then you know what's going to happen you're going to stay poor you're going to

00:05:21.920 stay unhappy and you're going to see racism everywhere at a certain level of wealth and at a certain level of

00:05:26.720 status people never discuss things like race people never discuss like i'm an immigrant so it was

00:05:31.840 hard you just want to get to the next point yeah that's why racism is a winner winners only see green

00:05:36.560 because the truth of the matter is like i own a business right i have a bunch of employees

00:05:40.240 if somebody turns up and does their job and they're profitable for my company i cannot afford to give a

00:05:44.320 about their race religion hair gender any of that stuff because it's too hard to find people that work

00:05:50.240 really hard so a great example of that is lebron james has been in the nba for years because he puts out 0.96

00:05:55.440 a motherfucking results okay and he's not worried and he's not worried and living oh i'm black i can't 0.87

00:06:00.480 play in the league but you could say that for any i know plenty of successful young black men and one 0.99

00:06:05.200 thing i have a super big heart for is i play college football and i cannot stand to see people put those

00:06:11.680 young men in a box and tell them from the jump that they are not going to have a good shot at life just 0.58

00:06:15.760 because they're black can i ask you that is that is putting them in a box from the beginning and lying to them 0.92

00:06:20.000 sorry do you think that lebron james had the same journey as his white teammates that's what white 0.88

00:06:25.760 teammates you want to talk about exclusion how many white people are in the nba i think of one 0.94

00:06:31.440 name a white nba player i don't know i feel left out fuck this i'm leaving no no no but i'm just 0.98

00:06:37.120 saying if okay actually that's in america in the in the uk it's different my problem is telling young 0.99

00:06:42.960 black men that they don't have a shot because they're black is literally handicapping them from the 0.83

00:06:47.520 jump and i won't stand for it okay it's very different my friend in the uk for example the 0.99

00:06:52.720 football leagues they are full of white boys and the white players are actually quite physically 1.00

00:06:56.320 endowed and they're quite talented they get they stay behind a little bit more they're not selected

00:07:00.320 first in the uk it's very different that's why i say you shouldn't box people in and talk about

00:07:04.480 generally because culturally i call bullshit though i'll tell you why i'll tell you why it's true 0.71

00:07:09.360 an owner of a of a company whether it's a sports team or a normal business cannot afford to choose 0.56

00:07:16.160 somebody or not choose somebody based off their race or gender but that's not true no no let me 0.98

00:07:20.720 tell you why because the way that you make money in the sport is you win fucking championships 0.90

00:07:25.840 some of the best players in the uk yeah they don't get the ratings for example in the world cup three 0.98

00:07:30.960 black players scored but when they woke when the england was eliminated from the world cup those three

00:07:35.920 players were the ones that were blamed and all the white players were the ones are celebrated because 0.86

00:07:39.680 that actually does happen in this country so that's why i don't know i don't know anything

00:07:44.800 about soccer but i'll say this sorry so are both of you trying to say racism doesn't exist

00:07:50.960 or you try it holds you believing that you're a victim holds you back more than any of the actual

00:07:55.920 racism that exists in society this right this is some it's really just poor people coping yeah that

00:08:02.720 like racism this is why i'm not successful this is why i'm unhappy it's because of systematic oppression

00:08:07.520 that mindset will hold you back more than any white systems with that mindset that mindset will hold 0.77

00:08:13.760 you it's gonna hold you back way more than any racism what i will say is racism does exist

00:08:19.200 absolutely it resists everywhere it exists it exists everywhere but obviously i wouldn't call myself a

00:08:24.880 victim i've experienced racism but i don't say i'm a victim i wouldn't i wouldn't let that stop me from

00:08:31.600 prospering do you have a harder time succeeding than a white girl i don't know i feel like it's all about

00:08:36.880 mindset to be honest okay if you if you sit there and think oh i can't do this because of this or i

00:08:41.760 can't do that then obviously that's a negative mindset to have you're not going to grow and you're

00:08:45.120 not going to be all about the best version of yourself but if you think okay i might be different

00:08:49.600 but that's not going to stop me from elevating and being the best version of myself i get what you

00:08:54.960 guys are trying to say in terms of my mindset i definitely believe that what you think is what will

00:08:58.960 manifest but what i'm trying to understand is are you guys trying to say that racism does not exist at all

00:09:04.640 and it's just this fantasy not as much as we're talking about it right now and not as much as the

00:09:10.080 oppression of women and as much as feminists believe that feminists like are held back and 1.00

00:09:14.160 that we need to be empowered to ask like what how do we empower women oh motherhood okay mothers have

00:09:19.360 always been respected so it's a lot of this people like to have and this is what wokeness does we like to

00:09:24.800 have reasons to justify our existence and where our place in the world like we're held back because of

00:09:31.040 white oppression i'm a feminist i'm an immigrant and this is why i'm where i'm at it makes us feel

00:09:35.920 better about our position in life but if you let go of those attachments and just understand that the

00:09:39.840 world is what you make it you will succeed and you will be better these ways so like racism it's all 0.97

00:09:45.360 garbage it's all meant to keep us like down and at the bottom the black lives matter movement for 1.00

00:09:49.520 example was all garbage all psyop all that was a scam same with the feminist movement any of these 1.00

00:09:54.560 ideologies that people grasp on to feel better same thing with all these people talking about ukraine 0.99

00:09:58.800 and russia like you're not gonna change it just go get some money and start a family and just stop

00:10:03.040 attaching yourself to stuff that you have no control over and that and that's the point and he's dead

00:10:07.200 on because like for example people get all up flustered about who wins a presidency oh trump's

00:10:13.680 president i can't dude i don't give a who wins president you could be president tomorrow i'm still 0.98

00:10:17.280 gonna win bet your ass i don't care what the condition is i don't care who's in the office dude any of 0.97

00:10:22.880 you could be president tomorrow and i'm still gonna get up and go to work the next day can i tell you 0.99

00:10:25.760 something very interesting do you know why racism actually exists because nobody said it didn't

00:10:30.560 exist it's not a way to lead your identity it's actually very annoying because what people don't

00:10:35.360 understand is that sometimes you're walking amongst black people or even sometimes a black person will

00:10:39.840 go into a shop and the security guard will look at them and follow them they don't even know they're

00:10:43.200 looking at prints because that's pattern recognition no this the only problem is pattern recognition no no

00:10:49.360 listen listen yeah the problem is that with this whole idea of racism what people talk about for me i find

00:10:55.280 racism to be an insult because people look at the skin the color of my skin and they assume

00:10:59.040 i'm lower than what i am actually but no they don't no they actually do they actually do but

00:11:05.120 but coming from the two girls that brought up race though that's the thing you bring up race 1.00

00:11:09.600 immediately the show's been going on five minutes and of course because you both bring up black i'm

00:11:13.920 never never in my mind was i like can i ask you a question um you said it like they who is they uh just

00:11:22.240 overall the general population in this country at least so would you say like everyone would you

00:11:27.040 say like everyone in this room i don't think that's true i don't think that's true in london

00:11:30.800 no i'll explain to you why london i'll explain to you why they hear my accent a lot of the time

00:11:36.320 they see my skin i just want to know who they wait wait who's people just people in general i guess

00:11:40.640 so i met you in london so i'm asking you like they is that this room is that like everyone in here just

00:11:46.160 met you today they i mean this is this is the people that don't matter to me i don't need to

00:11:50.640 know their names this is and i'm just saying this is a good sample size of people these are all random

00:11:54.480 people like okay you know and i know we know each other but of course outside of that of course i

00:11:59.360 relate to a lot of these girls could you be projecting insecurities onto other people

00:12:03.360 they're making assumptions about what people think about you because when i met you i didn't think

00:12:06.560 i didn't think oh she's lower or she's anything else you know whatever i mean i just thought yeah

00:12:09.680 cool girl i thought i thought good tv you know yeah i'll explain to you why and this is the same

00:12:17.520 thing with then that goes perhaps that links more into feminism is that i just don't like the fact 0.97

00:12:23.040 that people assume less of my capabilities based on something i don't know that they do no and this

00:12:28.960 is the thing i'll tell you who her she's the one that put it out in the universe let me tell you let 0.80

00:12:33.600 me tell you it's not this is victim mindset literally what she said it's not listen listen my biggest 1.00

00:12:38.960 comments yeah guys you guys are troublesome then my biggest comments is like look at this stupid 0.99

00:12:43.200 girl what does she know i told mr king riches that i could fix a bentley and he laughed well how could 0.99

00:12:48.400 you be why because i'm a girl that's the thing so feminism what i think feminism is king riches then 1.00

00:12:54.720 why not say why not say but why not respond to king rich and say because i have the skill set yes and

00:13:00.720 that's the whole point doesn't that's why feminism as well what the girls are trying to say what is the 1.00

00:13:05.440 point listen listen what i believe girls are trying to say is that listen don't look at the 0.51

00:13:08.880 fact that i'm a girl i've got the skill set so respect me for my skill set then lead with it

00:13:13.200 that's it and lead with that i have the skills of course and the only reason why i measure my race

00:13:18.560 is to separate myself from the most women don't have the skill set to fix a car can we just call 1.00

00:13:23.600 a spade a spade it's not it's not feminism holding us back it's us choosing not to get that skill 0.98

00:13:29.760 so people assume that but i don't know how you cling that to me saying that feminism is holding 1.00

00:13:34.160 no you because you were you were saying that like people assume that you couldn't fix a bm or

00:13:38.720 people assume that you couldn't fix a bmw yeah and somehow that's tied to who cares no it doesn't

00:13:44.400 matter that's what feminism doesn't matter girls just want credit for what they can do 1.00

00:13:48.480 i will give you 200 pounds if you can fix a bmw we can do a video let's do it oh my god stay tuned

00:13:56.320 watch it i'll teach you i'll match it i'll match it because i love that and if you can no i'll match

00:14:01.920 it yeah yeah i'm actually doing a series guys make sure that you subscribe to my channel i'll double

00:14:06.080 i love that and watch me fix a car i fix the change batteries change tires fix the electric system

00:14:12.880 why because i know how to use google very well and i practice and i as many of you know i was just
