JustPearlyThings - These Women COULD NOT Get Over Their Toxic EX

00:00:00.000 things more promiscuous men or women hmm it's a question for me i feel like they're both

00:00:06.400 promiscuous in different ways i feel like females i thought you know what these days some of the 0.99

00:00:11.820 some of these females they use an instagram like a dating app i don't know what is going on they're 1.00

00:00:15.720 posting like all these random pictures that bro you don't have to do all of that focus on yourself

00:00:19.900 and your career like who are you trying to get attention from i think a lot of girls there's 1.00

00:00:23.640 attention seeking girls on instagram when it comes to guys pick one pick one who's who's more 0.97

00:00:28.920 promiscuous promiscuous yeah if we're talking about like visually you know i'm talking about

00:00:34.840 who's who sleeps around more oh oh this is okay i'm gonna spread the question you say men yeah i say

00:00:41.500 men yeah okay so i'm gonna i'm gonna give you guys a stat did you know one in three men under 30 are

00:00:47.300 either virgins or having had sex in the past year do you think one in three women under 30 are either

00:00:52.420 virgins or having had sex in the past year no no i was gonna say women sleep more than men 0.83

00:01:00.900 yeah i was gonna say i'm sorry really is that true yeah women sleep more than men yeah yeah yeah yeah 0.99

00:01:06.580 yeah it's crazy though oh my goodness do you guys do you guys um do you guys like tall guys

00:01:12.420 you're into tall guys you're like short kings i mean as long as they're taller than me i'm short as it is

00:01:16.960 so i don't i don't need a six foot king i'm all right over five seven babe have you heard have

00:01:21.620 you heard girls say that they need a guy over six foot yeah all the time do you have an ex that's 1.00

00:01:26.980 over six yeah yeah yeah i need to be that girl i need to say i need to be that girl i need to say

00:01:31.920 if you're not over six foot i don't know what what sorry go ahead as long as you're taller than me

00:01:35.720 that's that's what that matters do you have an ex over six foot yeah yeah it's okay it's okay

00:01:42.860 um so what what percent of guys do you think are over six foot one percent

00:01:48.140 lucky guess 56 56 i'm gonna say 35 35 42 42 huh um how many i'm not drunk guys

00:02:01.740 um i would say 30 30 so it's only 15 of guys wow and now think about it think about it if uh how many

00:02:11.120 people said they have an ex over six foot you did you did you did all sleeping with the same guys

00:02:15.420 huh yeah that's that's what i mean like not not not you personally but women in general are sleeping 1.00

00:02:23.460 with the same guys because 80 of women want 20 of men no that is mad so so the reason like women 0.96

00:02:30.160 think men are trash and they think they're sleeping around all the time is because we go for such a 1.00

00:02:33.440 small percentage of of men and they are sleeping around all the time but the majority of men if you 0.98

00:02:38.100 go to tesco you think they're getting any play okay so you're saying you're saying it comes to

00:02:43.420 our choice in men right that makes us think the rest are the same i think that's the first statement

00:02:49.620 actually yeah i agree with that yeah that's a very interesting statement i feel like a lot of the

00:02:54.700 time like women when they're younger yeah they go for like the bad boy or like something as you get 1.00

00:03:00.180 older you kind of realize that like certain traits that you would like find attractive like someone

00:03:05.640 who's emotionally unavailable they become unattractive as you get older you're only 22

00:03:11.000 right i know i haven't even been in a relationship but you know i've seen so many like people get

00:03:16.400 into relationships and it's just and it all flops and it's like yeah i'm scared i'm actually terrified

00:03:23.100 so um have you guys had a toxic ex yes um it wasn't an ex but i guess yeah sort of toxic yeah okay

00:03:30.640 nope i've had people who felt felt like they're obliged by having a say in my life because they

00:03:39.760 like me but that i don't that ain't that's not that's not that's not yes or no i need a yes

00:03:46.640 no no no me i would say yeah yeah okay um how long were you involved with your toxic ex

00:03:54.640 a year and a half yeah did you love him yes yes five years five years oh my oh my goodness that is

00:04:02.340 mad five years that is crazy did you love him that's how you know it's toxic i don't know five

00:04:07.660 years you didn't love him i don't know it was i wasn't like in a relationship with him but it was

00:04:11.980 just a very toxic situation so okay so you know you didn't love him yes or no um i don't know maybe

00:04:19.640 it was love to me at the time but now i see it i don't think it's love like now when i look back

00:04:24.140 on it okay wow five years okay so i actually never been in a relationship like properly where i can say

00:04:29.660 oh you know with boyfriend and girlfriend yeah but i've been in a lot of situations where i'm dating a

00:04:35.360 guy and i would say yeah i'm this girl and he's been quite toxic so yeah you yes yes and how long

00:04:40.660 were you with him um i was with him for about must have been like five months that long five months

00:04:49.620 yeah i'm a busy woman i haven't really got time did you did you love him no no okay so question

00:04:56.260 question based on this panel two out of four of you said you loved your toxic ex and you were with

00:05:01.260 him for over a year would you say by that statement young women love toxic men yes yes do you know what

00:05:07.280 it is i think when you're young you don't really know your boundaries properly yet and a lot of

00:05:12.440 people put up with stuff that they wouldn't usually put up with like i always say now like

00:05:16.780 men only treat you bad if you let them if you let them treat you bad and you don't if you don't respect

00:05:22.940 your boundaries then they're gonna walk all over you and i think that's just bad guys though

00:05:27.580 i think that's just bad guys like i think there's something about young women like picking the bad 1.00

00:05:32.900 boys like i don't think you know what a nice guy is gonna walk all over you if you treat him well

00:05:36.980 that's just yeah 100 i'm the youngest in here and i will tell you yeah it's because it's exciting

00:05:42.700 it's like almost like an adrenaline

00:05:44.000 especially when i've got high energy we bounce off each other i knew it when she was talking about

00:05:50.380 the following i was like he likes the drama yeah literally but i also feel like yeah it's not sorry

00:05:56.800 i also feel like it depends on your circumstances as the young girl because i with me i depended on my

00:06:03.020 ex for living for food for everything so i felt like i was chained to him like i was his had no one

00:06:10.740 else you know so it was like circumstances made me and be in that situation so what about that situation

00:06:16.580 was toxic uh well he was basically like cheating around flirting with other girls at work um i

00:06:25.300 didn't know obviously because i was just like at home i didn't have a job i was just like living off

00:06:30.040 him you know but i feel like he he um had that power over me because i allowed him to obviously

00:06:36.820 so yeah so she was it more than cheating or was he a good boyfriend outside of that it was more than

00:06:43.100 cheating i was involved in certain things as well so i felt like if he did if if he could do i could

00:06:47.860 do it to you okay so you were cheating you were both cheating on each other yep and couldn't you 0.92

00:06:51.440 just on a standstill and then got along um no because i mean we did have conversations about it

00:06:58.400 we we were very open with each other but then obviously the cheating was lies he because he kept

00:07:04.060 it from me so did you keep your cheating from him no i told him i told him how did you react you don't

00:07:10.300 you don't know you don't want to know who i cheated on him with but um he reacted no you don't

00:07:14.220 is he famous no he's not no no no okay do i know i'm scared who's he though do i know him no you don't

00:07:22.620 okay i cheated on him with his sister 1.00

00:07:26.320 no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no i'm a changed person i am a changed person i'm a

00:07:45.740 changed okay so what so why why why his sister i'm just gonna sip my drink me and his sister were

00:07:52.700 really good friends i mean clearly no no no we were really good friends and obviously one day

00:08:02.400 she said she wanted to come over and i said cool he was at work we got drunk and she started like

00:08:07.000 pouncing on me okay i'm not even trying to like i'm so serious like she and i was like no like this 0.98

00:08:12.100 isn't right and she was like no and then boop it happened and i was like fuck and then you told him 1.00

00:08:17.040 yeah i told him how did he react he almost killed me was she younger how old was she she was younger 0.98

00:08:23.260 yeah but we had a conversation about it and i can't pay out his ethnicity anyway um it's it's

00:08:30.380 almost like common from where he's from pardon yeah where is he from i can't tell you oh my goodness

00:08:37.500 at this point what's the what's holding you back what country do we need to not date um let's just

00:08:48.520 say somewhere in africa somewhere in africa yeah okay where where in africa is that coming

00:08:53.840 that's not coming back from where in africa okay so south africa oh wow guys please don't get

00:09:01.980 onto me i'm honestly locked up in me today i'm not gonna lie no but um it's not common but it was

00:09:07.540 like a thing within his i'll take your word i feel like it's just getting worse but um a thing within

00:09:15.540 his family and i said to him why did you pick that up because you said it you know like i can hear

00:09:22.360 but because i'm regardless of whether i did something wrong or not regardless of whether i

00:09:27.280 hurt someone's feeling or not i am an honest person and i feel like that's very very important if you're

00:09:33.220 if you're talking to someone if you're in a relationship with someone if you're just with

00:09:37.480 people anyway you know so i i just i clarified that with him he got upset he came back and he was

00:09:43.100 like thank you for being honest with me you know so it was like yeah but he was toxic for cheating

00:09:48.940 on you and not telling you yes i had to find out would you would you rather have him told you yes

00:09:54.780 do you think men lie to women they care about or that they or they tell the truth to women they lie 0.68

00:09:59.800 to women they care about and they feel like maybe like certain characteristics that they have for

00:10:04.840 example um some because some women are really stern like if you cheat on me that's it and because they 1.00

00:10:10.940 care so much they don't want to lose you so that thought of having to lose you would now be in

00:10:16.000 be in their head obviously and yeah they wouldn't they wouldn't tell you so outside of the cheating

00:10:20.680 anything else toxic or just that um yeah we smoked a lot of stuff

00:10:26.900 i guess that was toxic yeah okay um all right what about you

00:10:37.100 um what was the question um what was toxic about you said you had a toxic situationship

00:10:47.760 yeah what was toxic about it um it was very emotionally abusive so like even though i see

00:10:53.480 myself as a strong person but there's only so many times you can like get knocked down and i

00:10:57.360 dealt with it and i feel like i didn't respect my own boundaries which led to me being in that

00:11:02.440 situation um yeah it was just very unhealthy what is emotional abuse um i think to constantly

00:11:10.500 knock someone's confidence down make them feel bad about themselves to threaten them like what

00:11:15.560 specifically um i don't know like it could really be anything like you know just i'm asking like to

00:11:23.400 you like what did he say like what how was he emotionally abusive oh he just like just used to

00:11:28.780 knock me down i used to be a bit slow because i had a history of like doing like party drugs and

00:11:34.880 like okay i feel like it actually affected my like mental development a bit like i had a starter

00:11:40.260 for a long time like i was a bit slow and it was one of my biggest insecurities and i used to get 0.99

00:11:46.800 dig that a lot for that like oh you're so slow you're stupid you're this and that's what he would 0.94

00:11:50.280 say to you yeah and also um i lost a lot of weight because of stress and i was very insecure in my 0.99

00:11:56.020 skin and be like oh you're so skinny like you lost so much weight and it would just make you feel like

00:11:59.940 a bit rubbish about myself um and what did what did you say to him back like did you push back or what

00:12:07.080 yeah i would push back i would tell him like don't talk to me like that or i don't like that or something

00:12:11.000 because he did used to like threaten me and stuff but he used to threaten you yeah he was he wasn't

00:12:15.640 like threatened threatened to do like what kill you or no like just to like you know bring his fists

00:12:21.560 up to me and stuff i knew he would never do anything but like yeah it was just not a nice situation

00:12:26.320 i would always stand my ground about that but i would continue to put up with it for so long

00:12:30.520 so that's why like i was disrespected for so long but yeah literally after i got out of it i put on weight

00:12:37.520 like i was i got glow like life is good oh we love a happy ending
