JustPearlyThings - Trans Woman Opens Up About His Transition

00:00:00.000 born that way like like if anything it's kind of saying like you can't evolve it's that basically

00:00:04.620 that is what you're saying is that goes against my beliefs as humans that we're supposed to evolve

00:00:09.040 so to say that you're not born a certain way means that whatever happens in your life i think god

00:00:13.720 makes you i mean this is a bit more religious but i think god makes you a certain way like i think

00:00:18.260 god exactly no but i no i i think god i think god gives you i think god gives you a gender

00:00:23.580 and i think the genders come from god so i don't think god makes mistakes when it comes to that

00:00:28.380 god didn't make a mistake god doesn't make mistakes what about all the kids i'm not trying

00:00:34.140 to say god made a mistake no i mean but it is because in a way like the surgery is playing god

00:00:39.280 because it's like you're you're trying to pick your gender and only god that's exactly what it is

00:00:44.340 yeah that's literally what it is that's why i disagree and and i think that you know like if

00:00:48.580 you're gonna if you're gonna be able to pick your gender if science has evolved to the point where

00:00:52.280 people can say you know what i don't feel comfortable as i am and i want to change i want to put myself

00:00:58.260 through physical distress i want to put myself potentially in a firing aim of a lot of people's

00:01:05.680 negative opinions but guess what it's going to make me happy it's going to make me feel good

00:01:10.300 about myself so you know what i'm going to do it i think right and we have no but i think that it kind

00:01:16.060 of speaks to the culture it's like a me me me culture instead of it's like what makes me happy

00:01:20.260 instead of what make what's good for families which is what it used to be a hundred years ago i'm not

00:01:24.760 saying it's wrong or it's right i'm saying the difference like that this is this is when i look

00:01:29.000 at the culture nowadays it's all about me and it has to be where it used to be i would i think it's

00:01:34.160 better when it's about family yeah right like i think a hundred years ago it was about what's best

00:01:38.120 for the family can i just respond my family has not suffered can i just say yeah i'm not talking

00:01:43.500 about you i'm not talking about you guys personally but you can't reproduce okay let me just talk about

00:01:48.000 mothers can i just talk about mothers we'll adopt all of the kids that all the heterosexuals don't 0.99

00:01:53.340 look after all these people make so can i just say yes say for example like good luck good luck

00:01:58.280 and then there's a long list anyways that's that's the other thing it's like this really false

00:02:02.820 narrative with adoption like there's all these kids that people don't want the issue is they

00:02:07.460 that people that shouldn't be parents give them up later they're older but when it comes to babies

00:02:12.500 there's like a wait list it's tough to get a baby that's true it's hard you have to you have to go through a very

00:02:17.520 vigorous training process yeah you have to be you have to be like this whole um they do dbs checks

00:02:24.600 on you they do you know they visit your home they do random visits it's it's hard no my parents have

00:02:29.860 done it both ways they've adopted and they've given up so i've been on both sides it's it's different

00:02:34.400 than people think um but sorry what were you saying man honestly i forgot so you have to just come back

00:02:41.180 to me you need to corral us into an actual topic instead of us rambling so just so um my next

00:02:47.460 question is oh yeah go ahead go ahead okay so um i have a question if if our bones are dug up

00:02:55.560 2 000 years from now what gender would you be identified with and if the answer is binary

00:03:01.040 why should we make laws to accommodate you cannot accurately tell can i can i can't answer this

00:03:07.320 please it's not accurate 100 of the time there's like a 30 40 deviance already okay it's not that easy

00:03:15.320 to tell male and female have different um pelvic structures because that's right that's right 1.00

00:03:21.100 okay so it's not right you should actually google and do some research onto this because you're just

00:03:26.800 completely wrong and should read some books on archaeology why is he wrong because you can't

00:03:31.060 always tell that easily there are women with smaller hips but you're arguing you're arguing for 1.00

00:03:36.360 exceptions rather no this is not an exception i know the okay so what i'm gonna say to you if i can answer

00:03:41.760 your question yeah it's not a surefire thing honestly yeah like if you're if your bones are dug up

00:03:46.880 you're probably going to be classified by your gender but in my opinion yeah all that matters is the

00:03:53.420 quality of life when you're here yeah there's people that are miserable yeah there's people that

00:03:58.420 kill themselves they're depressed they don't want to live their truth there's people like yourself

00:04:02.660 they're not scared to make their opinions knowing how much they're going to be hated you know i think

00:04:08.720 people need to be celebrated people that live their truth no matter how much they're going to be

00:04:14.200 knocked and torn down they need to be celebrated because it's not easy and when i die when i'm dead

00:04:20.580 i'm gonna well i don't know what happens but let's say there's an afterlife i'm gonna tell you

00:04:25.280 i'm gonna say you know what i've done my best here on earth i've done my best here on earth

00:04:29.120 monologues when he's asking you're not answering his questions but that's even a good point

00:04:34.180 the problem with what you just said is that the reality is there is a there is almost like a facade

00:04:41.540 behind this whole transgender thing changing your gender with surgeries doesn't necessarily 0.59

00:04:46.220 guarantee you a better life in fact if you look at the statistics more people suffer after surgeries

00:04:52.120 than before so it's not like you they make it seem like when you change your gender then you

00:04:57.580 automatically accept yourself and then you're going to be comfortable with your skin

00:04:59.900 in fact you actually especially for the male to female transition you you probably have a worse

00:05:05.560 life expectancy afterwards i honestly haven't done any research about transgender people all i all i have

00:05:14.220 is my own personal experiences i can't even say i've got many uh any friends yeah um that are

00:05:19.780 transgender actually yeah so like honestly all i can go on is my own personal experience but

00:05:24.160 you know i just think that quality of life is so important we're only here for a certain amount of

00:05:28.840 time and i just think it's really important for everyone to just be happy in whatever way that means

00:05:32.840 obviously you can't be like you know doing like killing people just because it makes you happy but i think

00:05:38.260 changing your body and your physique things that are personal to yourself i don't think why it should be seen 0.91

00:05:43.600 is such a big problem some people are going to regret it right what what what if i want to be black 0.52

00:05:47.900 what if should i do that it makes me happy i should paint i mean black people sometimes they go on you 1.00

00:05:53.340 know sunburns they use sun cream i'm asking me should i do that if it makes you happy yes go ahead but i

00:05:59.800 can i just answer your question so when i die and my bones are like in the ground and whatnot i know

00:06:06.180 that i'm gonna be my bones are gonna come out as a woman because i identify as a woman and a woman only

00:06:12.520 that's not how that works i don't identify as anything else that's my answer i'm the only one

00:06:18.440 that has ever read into this is clear there is a certain amount of deviance we just we don't we

00:06:23.120 don't care we don't we don't care all right go ahead it's pretty straightforward you know there's

00:06:28.580 like a pelvic difference between a man that isn't consistent and look you can look it up but you keep

00:06:33.120 making assumptions and i actually know it's the fact that you're going off on exceptions when

00:06:38.180 literally it's like deviance is not an exception that's a fair amount what's the majority 60 okay

00:06:44.160 no no that that 30 i know that's 30 percent of men that's not it's not it's not it's not your show

00:06:51.280 thank you go ahead she you've talked a lot let her talk i don't know as much as these guys

00:06:55.800 i don't i don't know i don't know where to go from like you know but um i had one question um

00:07:04.180 it was for taz so um when you mentioned how um so you mentioned you're muslim has being

00:07:11.500 transgender like is it like a challenge for you like to be muslim and transgender at the same time

00:07:17.960 has it been it's not a challenge for me no so like say for example so um do you visit like the mosque

00:07:24.580 like i go to an inclusive mosque or i'll just pray at home okay fine um so like you don't feel any sort

00:07:31.760 of you know like going into a mosque any type of discomfort like if if if now i decided to go to

00:07:40.300 a mosque like i wouldn't go to the masjid that i went to when i was younger but partly i didn't feel

00:07:46.240 comfortable in that masjid anyway because i was in the women's section and i felt like i was being

00:07:50.180 disrespectful to to to the cis women in there knowing that i like and this is before i even 0.95

00:07:56.200 read like had the term for it like i just didn't feel comfortable i feel like i was being

00:08:00.120 disrespectful to them was it like
