00:00:00.000 Hey everybody, Laura Loomer here.
00:00:01.000 I am currently in Anaheim, California for the first day of the California GOP Convention.
00:00:06.000 And outside of the Marriott Hotel, where President Trump will soon be arriving, there's already some demonstrators and people here to support President Trump and also get their message out to the public.
00:00:18.000 And one of those people is Marcy.
00:00:20.000 Nice to meet you.
00:00:21.000 I just met you this morning.
00:00:23.000 And you're not a Republican, you're a Democrat, right?
00:00:25.000 I'm a Democrat.
00:00:26.000 And you live here in California?
00:00:27.000 I do live here in California.
00:00:29.000 And what is your purpose of being out here today?
00:00:31.000 Because I noticed that you've already peppered the entire outside of the hotel with your signs.
00:00:36.000 Claiming your territory.
00:00:37.000 I love it.
00:00:37.000 It's aggressive.
00:00:38.000 I love it.
00:00:39.000 So what are all these signs and why are you here today?
00:00:42.000 Well, most of us are Democrats.
00:00:44.000 I represent two organizations.
00:00:46.000 Our duty, which is a Strongly against the medicalization of children.
00:00:53.000 As you know, Laura, there's lots of kids 12 years old that can order puberty blockers behind their parents' back, de-transition to the opposite sex, and it's very, very harmful. 0.66
00:01:06.000 And our message is to do no harm to the kids.
00:01:09.000 I noticed that you use the term medicalization.
00:01:12.000 Do you find that it's a more approachable term in order to have a conversation Because medicalization is the real damage.
00:01:32.000 Sexualization comes before that. 0.99
00:01:34.000 Indoctrination in schools.
00:01:35.000 It's all inclusive.
00:01:37.000 It's all diversified and all that.
00:01:43.000 We all want diversity.
00:01:45.000 We all want to be included.
00:01:46.000 But there's such a strong push, an obsession, for going to the other people.
00:01:54.000 And personally, I am from the LGBT community as well.
00:01:57.000 So I'm a Democrat.
00:01:59.000 I'm a lesbian.
00:02:00.000 I'm voting for Trump.
00:02:02.000 And this is why I'm here.
00:02:03.000 People need to know that Democrats are fed up with insane bills that are being passed as fast as their printed money. 0.98
00:02:12.000 Well, I think it's really admirable that, you know, you're standing your ground as a Democrat.
00:02:18.000 I see some of these signs.
00:02:19.000 I want to get some of these on camera because they are quite intriguing.
00:02:22.000 Let's see.
00:02:22.000 We have no idea how many we transition.
00:02:26.000 Democrats for parental rights.
00:02:29.000 Let's see.
00:02:30.000 Yeah, it's one of my favorites.
00:02:35.000 You won't be voting in the primary and of course this is about the GOP convention which pertains to the primary.
00:02:42.000 Do you think that you'll ever switch to Republican or do you find your voice is more powerful within the Democrat party as a voice of reason?
00:02:50.000 Exactly.
00:02:51.000 The Democrats need more conservatives.
00:02:54.000 More sanity, for one thing.
00:02:56.000 And a lot of Democrats are good, sane people, and we're just appalled by what's happening to this country, and especially here in California.
00:03:07.000 And so, no, to answer your question, Laura, I have no intention to change the Republican.
00:03:11.000 Even though I'm conservative, I think I have a stronger voice.
00:03:15.000 And what's your last name in case people want to find you and support your organization?
00:03:19.000 Last name is Strange.
00:03:21.000 Okay.
00:03:21.000 And I'm with Rduty as well as I'm also the founder and chairwoman of T.O.P.S., which stands for Taxpayers, Oversight for Parents and Students.
00:03:31.000 Now these are great signs.
00:03:32.000 I love this.
00:03:32.000 Why are so many girls having double mastectomies?
00:03:35.000 Great question.
00:03:37.000 I like this one too.
00:03:39.000 Not consent to puberty blockers.
00:03:41.000 So true.
00:03:42.000 No child is born in the wrong body.
00:03:46.000 Gender clinics are sterilizing our youth. 1.00
00:03:50.000 Gays want safe spaces for women and kids. 0.50
00:03:54.000 California Governor Gavin Newsom is looking to possibly even run for president it seems now.
00:04:01.000 Do you think that he's going to run for president as a Democrat?
00:04:04.000 What are you thinking?
00:04:05.000 Do you want to see Joe Biden as the Democrat nominee?
00:04:08.000 Oh god no.
00:04:09.000 No, I don't want to see any Democrat running for president or will run for president.
00:04:14.000 What are you hearing, though, from other Democrats?
00:04:16.000 Is there talk here on the ground in California that Gavin Newsom is going to try to make a last-minute run for president?
00:04:22.000 Well, he's running advertising in Texas.
00:04:25.000 Why would he be advertising in Texas if he weren't planning on running for president?
00:04:28.000 And what do you mean by that?
00:04:30.000 What do you mean he's advertising?
00:04:31.000 You're seeing political advertisements for him?
00:04:32.000 Exactly.
00:04:33.000 Wow.
00:04:34.000 Exactly.
00:04:34.000 Bashing.
00:04:36.000 It's getting exciting.
00:04:38.000 Yeah.
00:04:39.000 He's already bashing, you know, Texas Republicans and candidates.
00:04:44.000 Well, I live in Florida, so he was already running ads in Florida, too.
00:04:47.000 There you go.
00:04:48.000 I mean, they have billboards on the highways attacking DeSantis, who is not a good governor, in my opinion.
00:04:54.000 I'm a Trump reporter.
00:04:54.000 And I see you are, too.
00:04:55.000 You see Dean Democrats for Trump.
00:04:57.000 So that is great.
00:04:58.000 This is great because, you know, people love saying that President Trump doesn't appeal to Democrats or Independents.
00:05:05.000 This is my sign. 0.88
00:05:07.000 This is her sign, not me, because I'm not gay, but, you know, I have a lot of problems with gay people, right? 1.00
00:05:13.000 And so, President Trump also was the first Republican president to also include the LGBT Absolutely.
00:05:39.000 Has been attacked by people like Ron DeSantis and his supporters who now are trying to spread this lie that he is, you know, pro-LGBTQ agenda.
00:05:47.000 When in reality, President Trump has always been respectful of people's own personal decisions as long as they are also respecting parental rights and respecting children and not sexualizing them.
00:05:58.000 That's all we want.
00:05:59.000 As a member of the LGBT community, I can tell you, this is not for kids. 0.99
00:06:04.000 It's an adult, exclusive...
00:06:07.000 Community that should be, children should be exempt or it should be up to the parents to discuss it, not the teachers.
00:06:15.000 We just did a large interview at Gay Pride where we asked gay people Who should be teaching children about the LGBTQ community?
00:06:26.000 Should it be teachers or parents?
00:06:29.000 95% is for parents.
00:06:31.000 Parents job.
00:06:33.000 That's good, yeah.
00:06:34.000 I really appreciate you being out here.
00:06:36.000 You can see she's by herself, right?
00:06:39.000 For now.
00:06:40.000 Do you expect other people to come or other people joining you?
00:06:42.000 Oh yeah, we expect a big crowd.
00:06:44.000 And they're all Democrats or LGBTQ individuals for Trump?
00:06:48.000 Not all of them.
00:06:49.000 We've got a mix of, in our duty, we have a whole mix of people.
00:06:53.000 You know, we've got Republicans, we've got Independents, we've got mostly Democrats.
00:06:57.000 So it's a bipartisan group, but you yourself are a Democrat as a founder?
00:07:00.000 Correct.
00:07:01.000 That's great.
00:07:01.000 Listening to the detransitioners, really nice sign.
00:07:04.000 Did you refine all these yourself?
00:07:06.000 No, our duty is on this.
00:07:09.000 That's really nice.
00:07:09.000 I love this.
00:07:10.000 So along with also, you know, in terms of medicalization, how do you feel about, as a Democrat, about these vaccine mandates?
00:07:21.000 Do you also talk about vaccine mandates and the vaccination of children or only You know, that's a real controversial question.
00:07:43.000 Personally, I would never and will not ever vaccinate my kids.
00:07:48.000 I don't have kids, but I feel the same way.
00:07:51.000 But other people do, and I feel, and I'm not speaking on behalf of our duty, because I don't know, they're mainly on the, you know, not medical education of children, but as far as my group, Typescares Oversight for parents and children,
00:08:07.000 no vaccine.
00:08:08.000 No, it's good.
00:08:10.000 Because we need more people speaking out against that.
00:08:12.000 Again, we always hear that that's a Republican popping point, but again, you're not a Republican, you are a Democrat.
00:08:17.000 I am a Democrat.
00:08:18.000 You're a Democrat?
00:08:19.000 Love the song, Democrat, flip it over again.
00:08:22.000 I love that.
00:08:28.000 That's really great.
00:08:35.000 Well, it was really a pleasure meeting you.
00:08:37.000 Pleasure to meet you.
00:08:38.000 Thank you.
00:08:38.000 And hopefully I can, you know, spread your message and your cause.
00:08:41.000 I love that.
00:08:41.000 And we are on opposite sides of the political aisle, but I really appreciate you being here today to support Trump and also speak sanity.
00:08:49.000 Right?
00:08:49.000 We all need to have some more sanity in this country right now.
00:08:52.000 Thank you so much.
