00:00:01.000 Yeah, thank you so much.
00:00:04.000 My name is Laura.
00:00:05.000 I'm actually a conservative and I came here.
00:00:09.000 No, it's a friendly conversation.
00:00:13.000 Yeah, yeah, sure.
00:00:16.000 No problem.
00:00:17.000 President Eisenhower said the American mind at its best is both liberal and I actually live in Florida.
00:00:33.000 I'm a journalist and I've been going around covering the various political events.
00:00:37.000 And one thing that is actually very important to majority of Americans, not just Republicans, is election integrity.
00:00:43.000 And what I find to be really troubling, even as a conservative voter, is the fact that the DNC threatened the New Hampshire Democrat Party With, I guess, what would you call it?
00:00:55.000 Sanctions, I suppose, if they allowed for other candidates to participate in the primary, such as yourself and Dean Phillips, running against Joe Biden.
00:01:04.000 And so, what I wanted to know is, how do you feel about David Plouffe, who is Barack Obama's former campaign manager, obviously he worked with Joe Biden as well, literally telling Democrat voters and Democrat mega donors like Reid Hoffman To not only vote for,
00:01:20.000 but donate to Nikki Haley, who is a warmonger, instead of the Democrat candidates.
00:01:26.000 I mean, you would think that somebody like David Plouffe, who worked with Obama, who claims to be a progressive, right?
00:01:32.000 He's always talking about community organizing.
00:01:35.000 Why are they telling Democrat donors to give their money?
00:01:38.000 And it's not just Obama, it's Hillary Clinton and her donors too.
00:01:42.000 Telling Democrats and Democrat voters Vote for Nikki Haley, right?
00:01:45.000 Give your money to Nikki Haley.
00:01:47.000 And you have Reid Hoffman, who's the second largest donor to the Democrat Party after George Soros, who literally just gave a quarter of a million dollars to her PAC. So what do you think about that, especially given your anti-war position?
00:02:00.000 Well, first of all, she is to the right of Donald Trump, and particularly on issues of war.
00:02:05.000 You're right, that woman is chomping the bit.
00:02:15.000 I was specifically about a letter from David Plouffe or Reid Hoffman.
00:02:18.000 However, when you first started talking, I thought you were going to ask me what do I feel about the fact that Florida has just taken its dictates from the Florida Democratic Party and kicked off anyone but President Biden from the primary ballot there.
00:02:33.000 And the law in Florida is if there's only one name, they're not going to have one.
00:02:37.000 So I thought you were going to ask me how do I feel about the fact that the Florida Democrats can't even vote?
00:02:42.000 Don't you think, Ms.
00:02:43.000 Williamson, I'm a conservative, but don't you think that that's anti-democracy?
00:02:47.000 My answer is yes, I do.
00:02:48.000 And that's why my point is, is that we all, over 70% of Americans, and this was a poll conducted by CNN, published by them, believe that our elections are not legitimate because they feel like there's a uniparty.
00:02:59.000 And personally, like, I'll just be honest, I am a Trump supporter, but I resonate with a lot of what you say, particularly with regards to the system being rigged, the system being unfair, You know, the need to get out of foreign wars and conflicts, and I believe that his policies support that.
00:03:12.000 However, I do think that we need to address this idea that it's the parties that are going to decide who our candidates are, because just like they're not allowing for Democrats to vote for who they want to vote for, whether it be in Florida, where, just for the record, I apologize for Ron DeSantis.
00:03:27.000 I do not support our governor.
00:03:30.000 I'm really glad he had a raise.
00:03:31.000 But also, too, you see the same thing happening to President Trump right now with the ballot removal cases.
00:03:37.000 Do you also feel then, as a Democrat candidate, that if you want to have You know, your voice heard and you want to be on the ballot instead of the DNC deciding that it's just, you know, Joe Biden acting like a dictator.
00:03:48.000 Don't you also think that it's wrong for the Democrats and the Secretaries of States to be removing Trump from the ballot?
00:03:53.000 Shouldn't we allow for the people to decide?
00:03:55.000 Because I personally think that it's wrong.
00:03:57.000 And I just went to Dean Phillips's event to ask him the same question and he kicked me out.
00:04:01.000 So I came and I appreciate you answering my question, even though his signs say everyone's invited.
00:04:06.000 It's a bit hypocritical.
00:04:08.000 Well, first of all, what has happened, speaking as a Democrat, what has happened on our side in Florida, in Tennessee, in North Carolina, in Wisconsin?
00:04:18.000 Well, no, it's different here.
00:04:20.000 Like, I'm on the ballot here.
00:04:21.000 Yeah, but they told Nikki Haley, like the DNC. Well, I don't know about that pluff letter.
00:04:28.000 There are issues, but it was not the Democrats who kicked Donald Trump off those ballots.
00:04:34.000 That was Secretaries of State.
00:04:36.000 That was judges.
00:04:37.000 And let's be very clear, many Democrats are very aware, probably a lot of people in this room are very aware, it's not good for us when they kick Donald Trump off those ballots because that makes him more of a martyr in the eyes of many of his supporters.
00:04:52.000 So I don't think the Democrats are looking at things like, oh, we can get him off the ballot.
00:04:56.000 We can beat him on the issues.
00:04:59.000 So if you're asking me if I'm worried about political parties, Making it more difficult for the will of the people to be expressed.
00:05:07.000 Absolutely, I am.
00:05:08.000 Do you think you should be allowed on the ballot, though?
00:05:10.000 Well, I think that, you know, the legal process is going to play itself out.
00:05:14.000 The question is, well, the 14th Amendment, someone who is engaged in insurrection.
00:05:20.000 Some people said, well, definitely he's engaged in insurrection.
00:05:22.000 The judges decided that.
00:05:24.000 On the other hand, he hasn't been convicted of that.
00:05:26.000 I know for myself, I prefer to not see him kicked off ballots.
00:05:30.000 Because we've seen time and time again, everything, something like that happens, it makes certain people just love him that much more.
00:05:36.000 So no Democrats thinking, oh, if only that could happen.
00:05:39.000 We're not stupid.
00:05:41.000 And then lastly, do you think that Nikki Haley then is going to take votes away from you tomorrow?
00:05:46.000 I don't know.
00:05:46.000 Tuesday, we're going to...
00:05:48.000 The Democratic Party is now behind Nikki Haley, it seems.
00:05:51.000 No, the Democratic Party is not behind Nikki Haley.
00:06:00.000 No, we've all heard, I think, at this point about Democrats who are planning to vote for Nikki.
00:06:05.000 Don't worry about that.
00:06:06.000 Yeah, don't worry about that.
00:06:10.000 But you know, on the other hand, on something like that, who people vote for is their business.
00:06:15.000 And if I've learned anything from being in the Granite State, as the Granite State is going to vote for who they want to.
00:06:20.000 And the beauty, actually, of this state is that there's an independent streak here, and I don't think anybody is going to do what anyone, the Democratic Party, the Republican Party, David Clough, or Marianne Williamson, tells them to do.
00:06:32.000 Nor should they.
00:06:33.000 People should listen in your own hearts, know what everybody stands for,
