00:22:23.000What hasn't been around for a long time is Blue Sky, the social media platform which is gaining users in recent weeks as an alternative to X. On Thursday, the platform reported more than a million users had signed up in a single day.
00:22:35.000The platform's CEO says the site is growing by 10,000 users every 10 to 15 minutes and has more than 18 million users right now.
00:22:42.000It really feels reminiscent of the former era of Twitter when it wasn't owned by Elon Musk.
00:22:49.000He's changed the name of the platform to X. It looks and functions a lot like Twitter, but it doesn't have maybe...
00:22:56.000Elon puts a little bit of his thumb on the scale, it seems like, sometime on what you see on X. And Blue Sky feels much more open and has a really exciting energy right now.

00:42:01.000And then Tom Fitton, the president of Judicial Watch, wrote, Good news.
00:42:05.000Reports are incoming that Donald Trump, the administration, is prepared to declare a national emergency and will use military assets to reverse the Biden invasion through a mass deportation program.

00:42:31.000But in case you wondered how out of touch the Democrat Party is, because they're radical leftists, they are pledging across the country right now, losing their minds, they are going to resist the will of you.

00:50:44.000So sanctuary cities, they can prevent local law enforcement from reporting on immigration status, okay?
00:50:50.000They can prevent local law enforcement from cooperating with federal law enforcement.
00:50:55.000What they cannot do is prevent federal law enforcement in any sanctuary city or municipality from carrying out immigration policies Period.
00:51:04.000In other words, federal law enforcement can grab people and deport them.
00:51:08.000The local law enforcement may say, no, no, no, we're not going to be a part of this.
00:51:12.000Federal law enforcement absolutely, under orders that come from the United States president, can say, well, we're going to do our job anyway.

00:57:02.000What we're talking about with birthright citizenship is the idea that anyone born on American soil is automatically a United States citizen, regardless of the immigration status of their parents.
00:57:13.000This, of course, manifests itself in anchor babies, where they'll have a child here, illegal aliens, to try and gain status, or there's even something called birth tourism.
00:57:24.000This is how the system gets gamed, where you have foreign nationals go, oh, okay, she's eight and a half months pregnant, let's get to the United States.
00:57:32.000It could be a visa, or it could just be touching soil here, go, oh, they're born here.
00:57:36.000So it's their equivalent of wet foot, dry foot, kind of, only it's actually not constitutional.
00:57:50.000As part of my plan to secure the border on day one, My new term in office, I will sign an executive order making clear to federal agencies that under the correct interpretation of the law, going forward, the future children of illegal aliens will not receive automatic U.S. citizenship.
00:58:08.000Okay, now that we've explained it, let me sort of deconstruct this claim from the left.
00:58:13.000Their claim is that birthright citizenship as we know it, and as it has been practiced, like we said, baby tourism, anchor babies, all of this, That it's protected by the Constitution and the 14th Amendment.

00:58:30.000Birthright citizenship guarantees that people born in the U.S. receive citizenship, regardless of the parents' nationality.
00:58:36.000It was adopted after the Civil War to secure citizenship for former slaves.
00:58:39.000The Supreme Court later confirmed the interpretation of the 14th Amendment that birthright citizenship is unequivocal in the 1898 Wong Kim Ark case.
00:58:48.000Was that done, Bongino, in black and white?
00:59:04.000Section 1 of the 14th Amendment makes it pretty clear.
00:59:06.000All persons born or naturalized in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction thereof are citizens of the United States.
00:59:16.000So, according to the Michigan Senator, Jacob Howard, who drafted the 14th Amendment, he said this meant that citizenship should not be extended to people who share any loyalty to another country.
00:59:36.000In other words, if you are not subject to the jurisdiction here in the United States, no, you are not a citizen.
00:59:39.000And you don't simply automatically get citizenship because you happened to come here when your living girlfriend was eight and a half months pregnant.
00:59:48.000It would make no sense, like, logically.

01:00:33.000The court actually ruled that a child born in the United States of parents of Chinese descent, but have a permanent domicile and resident in the United States, and are not employed in any diplomatic or official capacity under the Emperor of China, become at the time of his birth a citizen of the United States by virtue of the first clause of the 14th Amendment of the Constitution.

01:01:33.000Logically, nobody should expect it to work that way, too, because there is a cost to this, right, to your citizen of the United States that comes with benefits.
