00:11:53.880 So first of all, deliverance ministers have to live, live a clean life.

00:12:08.080 is the Lord, which is the Holy spirit to cast that out of the other person.

00:13:26.180 And the biggest struggle I had was to quit cussing.

00:13:29.800 Now I cut, I cut out all the big words, you know, pretty easy, but I, but I still said

00:13:35.880 I still said, damn, like all the time, every, even still now I still sometimes do that.

00:13:41.160 And, and I see in the scriptures that it tells me, um, that that's not supposed to come out

00:13:46.360 of my mouth because, and I have to live a clean life because I, I do deliverance for

00:13:50.420 people.

00:13:51.160 So how am I going to help someone in an area that I haven't even overcome myself?

00:13:56.500 So that's why I was saying, if I'm smoking cigarettes, I can't cast that out of you.

00:14:01.760 And that's my primary goal is to be able to help other people.

00:14:08.380 It's great to hear this because, um, you know, oftentimes if you're somebody, let's say

00:14:13.700 like a, like I, I didn't grow up Christian either and, and, uh, relatively new to the

00:14:19.400 And, and so, uh, this show kind of has that added element of like watching me go through

00:14:25.200 this process as well.

00:14:26.300 And there are a lot of like rules that we're just not aware of.

00:14:31.300 I'm not aware of, and I'm learning as I go.

00:14:33.600 Um, and it's all fascinating, but it's, it strikes me very often that there are rules and laws

00:14:40.560 that you have to abide by the very same way we create systems, judicial systems and such

00:14:46.180 are the same way that God has implemented these laws.

00:14:53.480 It's also fascinating with this idea of, uh, generational iniquity because we, yeah, when

00:15:00.180 it comes to gay people and the idea of like, I was born that way, somehow that is, um, supposed

00:15:08.200 to make it acceptable when it's like, well, babies are born soiling their diapers and we certainly

00:15:12.500 stopped that too.

00:15:13.500 Right.

00:15:13.680 So, uh, maybe we shouldn't be doing these sorts of things and we're comfortable within

00:15:18.220 the scientific or biological community, uh, in saying, well, there seems to be some precedent

00:15:23.780 of a, of a passing down of genetic memory or genetic traits, certainly within disease.

00:15:30.060 We are willing to go there and say, yes, you have a, uh, a higher percentage of a likelihood

00:15:36.120 that you'll have a terminal illness.

00:15:38.440 If somebody in your family line, the closer they are to you, the higher of a likelihood

00:15:44.980 Um, and now even some behavioral traits, but the Bible has been saying that since the jump

00:20:41.800 a pivotal moment or it was a, uh, uh, an accumulation of moments?

00:20:49.120 I was raised Catholic and, um, my mom and dad divorced when I was like three.

00:20:54.280 And so, um, my dad is the one that's really Catholic.

00:20:58.240 So I would go to church with him just, you know, first, third and fifth weekends, you know?

00:21:05.040 And then for a couple of years, we moved to Illinois and we didn't even live in Texas.

00:21:09.440 So we didn't see him at all.

00:21:11.300 So I had that, that Catholic upbringing and influence, um, and background.

00:21:16.920 And I always loved God.

00:21:18.640 I always loved God, but I had no idea, um, that Jesus Christ wanted to know me personally.

00:21:26.800 I had no idea that it's supposed to be about a relationship with Jesus.

00:21:31.300 I remember I went to a church when I was like 16 with a friend and it was a Baptist church

00:21:37.920 and all these kids came running over to me and they go, are you saved?

00:21:42.440 And I said, from what?

00:21:45.060 Like, I didn't even know what they were talking about.

00:21:48.220 And they go, well, do you know that Jesus is the son of God?

00:21:51.880 And I go, well, yeah.

00:21:55.820 And they said, okay, well, do you know that he died for your sins?

00:21:59.400 And I go, well, yeah, that's in all of our prayers.

00:22:07.260 Everything they kept asking me, I would have to refer to, is that in one of my prayers?

00:22:13.220 Because all I knew was the, the rote prayers that you're taught in Catholicism, right?

00:32:30.380 And he talks about how the way that you engage in spiritual warfare is through the word, is through speech.

00:32:38.260 And he highlights for us pretty effectively that throughout the Bible, there are instances when God is speaking to man, he tends to lead with questions.

00:32:51.080 But when he speaks to powers and principalities and spirits, he speaks very pointedly in statements, direct statements.

00:32:57.600 There's no questions to these spirits.

00:32:59.940 And he cites many examples throughout the Bible.

00:33:02.440 And so, to me, these prayers are obviously you need to be understanding what you're saying because you need to be connected to it.

00:33:11.360 It has to come from you.

00:33:12.740 But you're speaking pointed statements into the spiritual realm.

00:33:17.440 And that seems to be the way that you engage in spiritual warfare.

00:33:21.700 So, even the prayers are a massive tool because it's like, okay, sure, you can tell me that these things are happening to me and I can believe you.

00:33:31.500 But then what in the world do I say?

00:33:34.280 I mean, you know, and it just so happens, well, there's actually an entire book of things to say.

00:33:40.220 And they have all the appropriate moments to say them.

00:33:43.000 It's the idea of free will, which is great.

00:33:45.180 And I feel like doing this show and speaking to people, like, so I grew up in the church and I've had people tell me, like, well, God's going to do this and he has a plan for you and this and that.

00:33:56.280 And at the time when they told me I was disenfranchised with what was going on in the church, I had like a little bit of a falling out with the pastor.

00:34:02.600 And I was, I wanted to tell the lady, screw you.

00:34:05.560 And I kind of did in not so many words.

00:34:07.960 And I was like, and as a matter of fact, not just screw you, but no, I won't.

00:34:11.240 I will not do those things.

00:34:12.420 And I didn't.

00:34:13.760 I went ahead throughout my life and I did other things.

00:34:17.080 But eventually, the things that she said that I would do, I'm sort of doing now.

00:34:25.240 Like, you could be on this journey and I guess I'm supposed to do something, but I also don't have to.

00:48:07.920 ceremonies and they're reading their books and they're wearing their ceremonial garb and

00:48:16.260 But obviously completely polar opposite in the, in the nature of the spirit that you're

00:48:20.960 asking to inhabit yourself.

00:48:22.960 But it's just fascinating because you can tell that that is what all of this is run by.

00:48:30.140 All of this in this realm is run by who is in the know and who is doing their rituals,

00:48:35.700 who is doing their ceremonies, who is in communication and communion with powerful spirits or otherwise.

00:48:42.280 And when you look at that, it's, it's almost like, uh, to not engage is to be lukewarm.

00:48:49.260 And then there is those who are engaged on this side and those who are engaged on that side.

00:48:54.580 And if you want to engage, uh, with the Holy spirit, if you want to be on, on team God,

01:09:14.080 They're the great emissary, right?

01:09:15.540 They are the middleman between you and God, they have leaned on their understanding to

01:09:19.720 such a degree that they've built an empire off the back of their understanding.

01:09:32.020 And in fact, it seems not that we can all have our own personal relationship with God

01:16:03.560 managed to do is in order to avoid persecution, they had to, they, they chose to adhere to

01:16:17.360 is that practices voodoo, but they took their voodoo spirits and they just hid them within

01:16:23.740 the saints of Catholicism, which is why if you go to new Orleans, they're, they're

01:16:28.060 there, it's, it's kind of confusing.

01:16:29.960 It actually begs the question, what am I looking at here?

01:16:32.340 Because all of it, it, we're very comfortable with new Orleans is the central for voodoo.

01:19:16.520 different States, but, um, but yeah, the, you can literally see when the demon takes them

01:19:23.040 over and their, their demeanor changes, their face, and even their facial features change.

01:19:29.400 And then it comes up and yeah, and it will talk to you.

01:19:32.260 And it, and this one said, she belongs to me.

01:19:36.420 So yeah, we definitely weren't talking to her.

01:21:02.540 So I would flock to horoscopes and the fortune teller.

01:21:08.440 If we went to the Renaissance festival, the first place I ran was straight over to the

01:21:12.860 And I believed everything they said.

01:21:14.800 I would go to tarot card readers and have them tell me, you know, the future.

01:21:18.880 And I just thought it was cool.

01:21:22.700 But I had played with a Ouija board whenever I was younger with my sister.

01:21:28.960 And sometimes I only did it probably three or four times, but sometimes it was like nothing

01:54:24.960 So I end up, um, having these encounters in my dreams, uh, with, well, first it was like,

01:54:31.380 I would wake up to something knocking on a door, but there was nobody at the door and it

01:54:35.460 was like, you know, 3 AM or something like that.

01:54:37.000 And, and, um, I recognize pretty quickly, I'm like, I don't think anything's knocking

01:54:42.040 on a door.

01:54:42.580 I think it's knocking on me.

01:54:43.620 And that's a very startling thing.

01:54:45.240 So I'm waking up to that happening over and over again.

01:54:47.980 And then eventually I just can't get back to sleep.

01:54:50.000 So the next day rolls around.

01:54:51.100 And then that night, um, instead of knocking, something is like pulling on me.

01:54:55.260 I'm falling asleep and then something's pulling on my arm.

01:55:35.820 My father was like a very angry man and like, I'm pretty pleasant, but I do have this, like,

01:55:40.720 uh, uh, there's like a history of violence.

01:55:43.220 Luckily I funneled it into martial arts, but like my dad was a very violent guy.

01:55:46.600 And, uh, and then somehow I like championed that when I was a kid, like violence was cool.

01:55:52.620 And, um, took me a long time to shake that and find like a healthy outlet for it.

01:55:56.140 But I recognize that this thing was like some manifestation of, of not, not, not me.

01:56:01.880 It wasn't me, but it was like the embodiment of what it was feeding off of.

01:56:05.700 And what it was feeding off of was anger, rage, you know, resentment, anxiety, depression,

01:56:12.920 And, uh, it was, it was horrifying looking, uh, canid teeth, like, like lower canids that

01:56:20.900 And it was, you know, pretty muscular and it was looked like I had to be eaten for a

01:56:25.260 And I recognize like I was feeding this thing.

01:56:26.920 So, um, I, I, I forget how that, I think basically what happened is that day I wake up

01:56:34.240 in the morning and, um, my wife tells me that she had a nightmare and I'm like, oh, and I've,

01:56:40.780 by the way, kept all this to myself because I don't want to tell my wife, I don't want

01:56:43.660 everybody to freak out.

01:56:44.440 I don't want my son to hear this.

01:56:45.580 Like, I'm just keeping it to myself because it's not cool.

01:56:48.500 And, um, and she starts telling me like, oh yeah, there was this, uh, I was paralyzed.

01:56:59.620 red eyes and the thing from the dream had red eyes.

01:59:01.580 Like I was going through this, um, odyssey, a saga.

01:59:10.120 And, and to see this thing and to, you know, I can compartmentalize that I can deal with
