00:03:41.500 take out those loans ladies and gentlemen don't worry about the interest rate don't worry about
00:03:45.760 it it's fine i'm sure the economy is going to improve at any moment um so you can find me at
00:03:50.400 at faithbyareason.net and you will notice the new logo that i just put up courtesy of one top
00:03:56.740 lobster it's beautiful i appreciate that i i actually i need a i need a higher res version
00:04:01.080 i think that's something you email me so top you can add this to the list of stuff you need to send
00:04:04.580 so if you do have somebody like the higher quality i think that's fine for the web but if you have any
00:04:14.980 higher quality when you want to send me that'd be great but um faithbyreason.net that's where you
00:04:18.980 will find everything i've been doing for the past 15 plus years on blogs podcast video revelation
00:04:24.260 series it's where you will find my books including the latest one that i just put out called the
00:04:29.220 jesus code which was also available at brohemian grove just one short month ago it's it's already
00:04:34.100 been one month it's dude it feels like it was so long ago i've got so many fights it's just like
00:04:41.220 that's what trauma does when you have these various trauma you push it down very quickly
00:04:45.060 and then it feels like it was like oh that was like a whole lifetime ago yeah you're like a
00:04:48.580 vietnam vet you know you have a thousand yards there i can't believe it was a month ago oh my
00:04:53.220 god that's so crazy okay yeah please but that's you can also find the uh new meditation so there
00:04:58.500 was the um the night meditation the eight hour sleep meditation they're they're they're free on
00:05:02.980 youtube if you want to get the shorter version but if you want to get the low the longer ones
00:05:06.820 um they are available on on youtube there and yeah so it's one for night eight hours and also
00:05:13.540 the one for the morning because those are the times when spiritual warfare is really at its peak
00:05:18.100 they call it the uh the the ninth watch the sixth and the ninth watch like midnight and 3 a.m and
00:05:23.780 6 a.m that's when the veil is the thinnest that's when you're getting a lot of oppression a lot of
00:05:27.780 anxiety a lot of depression because the evil ones are whispering those things in your ear to keep
00:05:31.700 you from getting good sleep and also when you first wake up in the morning they want you to
00:05:34.980 start your day off poorly and they will oppress you telling you how sucky your day is going to be
00:05:39.940 you know how you're not not you're not with god god's not protecting you got all these bills you 0.54
00:05:44.420 got all these things your wife your kids your everybody or your husband or whatever is are
00:05:48.660 terrible all that oppression comes on you during those times when you're when you're right between
00:05:53.380 your conscious and unconscious mind when you're toggling between those two so these meditations
00:05:58.100 are there because they incorporate a lot from the spiritual warfare course a lot of the teachings
00:06:01.860 there with some really soothing background music that's going to kind of get you either to sleep
00:06:07.060 and and will protect you during your sleep or will get your morning started correctly putting
00:06:11.300 helping put on the armor of god to speak correctly to these things and we're going to talk about that
00:06:15.860 today we're going to talk about how to talk to to the demons today in offensive spiritual warfare
00:06:20.420 but those are there the short versions are free on youtube if you want the longer versions the
00:06:24.340 the eight-hour affiliate version or the 90-minute morning version.
00:06:27.640 You can get those there.
00:06:28.420 And also, the Spiritual Warfare course is available on faithbyreason.net.
00:06:32.860 It's going really great.
00:06:33.780 I just pushed this to a new platform, which is much easier for people to use.
00:06:38.260 People are really liking it.
00:06:39.760 Yeah, and I'll have to get a screenshot because I know you have to log in to get to it.
00:06:43.120 But it's a much better user experience.
00:06:44.840 And the best thing about it is it has really great message boards.
00:06:48.020 So the message boards are there.
00:06:49.920 Myself and John Lenhart are on those boards.
00:06:52.320 We're answering your questions there.
00:06:53.520 so that's just another enhancement so even if you're not part of the live coaching which we do
00:06:59.180 you can put your questions and issues on the message board and we'll respond to them there
00:07:03.720 and yeah so and also yeah so that's how you get to the spiritual warfare course
00:07:08.360 and you in seven days free if you want you can check it out no code needed some people were
00:07:13.700 having some issues with with the code there is no code now this new platform when you sign up you
00:07:17.960 just get seven days um free right that'll give you a chance to check out a couple of lessons see if
00:07:22.940 if it's something that you want to continue with and finally there is my patreon patreon.com
00:07:28.060 faith by reason that's where all the new content drops i just dropped another genesis uh episode
00:07:33.180 from the genesis series there my q a's i just had one of those come out this week on i had one last
00:07:39.020 week on the trinity there's one i just uh yeah i think this thing is the last one i did and the
00:07:44.780 meditations are there the spiritual warfare course access uh well yeah you can sign up through that
00:07:49.820 and you also can be a part of my monthly bible study where we go to the entire bible in one year
00:07:54.540 from the supernatural point of view and that's all the commercials very cool okay man it says
00:08:01.260 busy busy busy schedule it's an insane actually getting it done i sound unlike me well before
00:08:08.300 we started the show uh you also mentioned that you were just on uh you you were on james williams
00:08:13.820 show uh dark waters well no we actually did kind of a swap cast so i i hosted it i'm used to being
00:08:18.780 the the interviewee not the interviewer so i just right so we kind of just kind of tag team we were
00:08:22.700 both interviewing each other since it was the first time he and i have talked so we did kind
00:08:26.380 of a couple hours um we we focused a lot on spiritual warfare and like the paranormal
00:08:31.500 paranormal because that's really his bailiwick yeah and yeah it was great so we spent a couple
00:08:35.820 hours there i'm sorry what i've got i'm not going to go past that i'm just going to let him do it
00:08:39.500 because no i'm not going to really what in the world is a bailey wick bailey wick
00:08:43.180 it's his specialty is his that's where he that's his um that's his his method of operation now
00:08:51.460 bailiwick uh i assume that's what it meant but i've never heard no i assume because i i understood
00:08:55.940 the context uh but i will be using this you know ed you've been on the show i we we actually have
00:09:00.680 somebody tracking uh metrics you're the number one guest obviously obviously yeah i think it's
00:09:05.000 like 65 uh ed has spent an unhealthy amount of hours with it oh we had like you're getting at
00:09:11.240 the minute and second of how many hours we've been on the show with you and you guys as you
00:09:15.160 as you can imagine you're a bad influence on me i'm i i end i call i've been calling everybody
00:09:19.720 tortas for no good reason whether you're a torto or not i'm in the line at the grocery store like
00:09:26.520 you're paying with a check you torta atm card that's what i'm doing oh my god man i'm calling
00:09:33.240 fast food goyslop you're a bad influence let's go i'm so sorry if i can pull up the analytics here
00:09:39.800 so ed ed mabry oh my god are you serious ed has been on the show for 88 hours i don't have that
00:09:49.780 much content on my show that's so insane 88 hours and 35 minutes worth of of oh man i think i have
00:09:59.220 actually 10 episodes you guys have sent me that i can use content speaking of stuff we're gonna get
00:10:04.220 it all together we're gonna get the episodes along with the t-shirts and everything else it's all 1.00
00:10:08.380 gonna come to you we need some sort of assistant i know oh my god this is useless she's
00:10:12.860 all right so so um very cool so people can go to uh uh faith by reason on youtube and find that
00:10:22.580 is that episode released um not yet actually i i finished editing it i'm just i want to make sure
00:10:27.360 that um that james has has his access to it before i put it up i want it because we'll be putting up
00:10:32.340 on each other's um it'll be on my youtube and and all my my it'll be free on my patreon and
00:10:37.020 very cool i look forward to probably i would say next week i think i just i reached out to his
00:10:41.880 people and um i just want to see how make sure i get it to them in the format they want it and
00:10:46.180 yeah it'll be next week awesome really looking forward to that what did he make of your spiritual
00:10:50.740 warfare class i'm sure you walked through um all four parts of the course yeah we did he was he
00:10:56.540 was digging it we talked a lot about covenants which we can actually cover um today because what
00:11:00.820 i told him i i think i told you guys this too like the the time i was the episode i was on right
00:11:06.660 before bro grove yeah i remember that vividly because he he was like an answer to a prayer
00:11:12.500 because that morning i was like what am i going to talk about i wasn't sure so i wanted i was
00:11:16.420 just checking out your guys stuff to see what you've been talking about and he happened to be
00:11:19.140 your your latest guest and he was talking about you know how how to make covenants with with god
00:11:23.940 because we always think about the covenants that you know the elites make with with the evil ones
00:11:28.820 which they do they make these you know selling your soul i mean not technically that you can't
00:11:32.020 sell your soul but they get into these agreements with him and they you know they it pays off they
00:11:37.540 get all these they can get money and wealth and wealth and fame and all this kind of stuff but
00:11:41.220 of course there's a price to pay and we know all about these falsely and bargains but the other
00:11:45.220 thing is that god loves getting into covenants too so we have that we have the right to get into a
00:11:50.260 covenant with god we can do that we can do a covenant but it's going to be different because
00:11:54.260 it's not going to be just for what we want we have to give god what he wants and in return
00:11:58.180 it's a quid pro quo but anyway because and i've been you know thinking about how i actually this
00:12:04.180 is my goal to do this full time and do this and do nothing else um but this and i was trying to
00:12:08.340 i was really struggling with the methodology and hearing james say this i'm like okay i'm gonna do
00:12:12.260 that i'm going to make my covenant with god and i told him what i was doing you'll see it on the
00:12:17.140 show and he kind of walked me through some areas that i need to make sure i reinforce and do the
00:12:21.460 right way which is you know awesome but and he had a lot of insight onto that we talked a lot about
00:12:27.380 the different types of spirits and so i i actually learned quite a bit from him and yeah he was he
00:12:32.420 was in favor of it he was just saying hey you know what if you're gonna do if you're doing this
00:12:36.020 be prepared to be attacked i'm like bruh it's already it's been happening since i started this
00:12:40.500 course it's been massive like you know i lost all my data i told you guys that the last that's right
00:12:44.820 yeah which actually it turned out but it's one of those things where what what what human for evil
00:12:49.780 god actually used for good because what that's i've had to redo a lot of stuff and it's really
00:12:54.260 inspired me to you know inspire me to to migrate to a better platform for the spiritual warfare
00:13:00.100 course which is better for people i've changed my website i've made that look better that's
00:13:05.140 you see tops um the um the logo he made for me is there i'm coming up with new music for for
00:13:11.220 because i lost all my music so i'm coming up with new music which is better because the last one i
00:13:14.580 have the last music i was using wasn't that great because i did it like 10 years ago and never
00:13:18.660 updated it so now i'm basically making the experience better and i think it was so god
00:13:24.520 was using to say yeah you know you've lost all your stuff but now you get to make your stuff 0.90
00:13:27.560 look better instead of the crap you've been putting out i'm sure i can't say the word crap
00:13:30.820 but that's sort of the thing i guess i think that you didn't you weren't able to recover that stuff 0.95
00:13:35.120 that is right i don't want to make fun of you ed but you were using like uh you ever been at like
00:13:38.860 a work safety meeting and then they give you like uh here's what we do with the hard hat and that's
00:13:43.280 like intro music like today we're going to talk about it it was it was midi it was
00:13:48.060 i actually kind of dug it though because it gives it it was i think it would have been cool if you
00:13:53.380 like lean the whole show into like the old school vibe they come out with a hard hat
00:13:57.520 analog it's like video games like you know yeah yeah like space invaders in the background
00:14:02.980 yeah yeah that's like uh the white house just did that it's actually working out
00:14:06.960 swimmingly for them i think right now did you see that ed they were they came out with all
00:14:10.620 the video games on the White House website.
00:14:13.160 No, I do not have to check it out.
00:14:14.380 You can play, I don't know, like
00:14:16.520 you remember the game Snake?
00:14:19.200 Yeah. Yeah. So
00:14:20.380 in this one, you're Donald Trump and you walk
00:14:22.620 around the stage and you collect
00:14:24.000 illegal migrants. And as you
00:14:26.360 collect them, they're like little criminals
00:14:28.520 or gangsters or whatever.
00:14:30.700 And you collect them and then they follow behind
00:14:32.640 you as like inmates.
00:14:34.080 It's very funny. So yeah, maybe
00:14:36.500 the time for analog would have been good. But so let's
00:14:38.620 let's talk about you know I guess let's get into what we were going to discuss on today's episode
00:14:43.740 sure yeah so basically I want to talk a bit more about spirit offensive spiritual warfare I think
00:14:50.160 we I think we touched on it some when we were in studio for for bro grove with me and John
00:14:55.200 but the one thing I want to cover what two things I want to cover we're going to cover offensive
00:15:01.500 spiritual warfare because we're actually wrapping that segment up in in in the course I think yeah
00:15:06.880 this month september is where we're going to kind of wrap up um offensive spiritual warfare
00:15:11.200 then we're going to get into special circumstances and things but a few things that we've talked
00:15:14.400 about that i think we would i think would be great and one of them is one of the most effective
00:15:20.320 weapons in spiritual warfare offensively because when we think of going on offense we're thinking
00:15:24.720 because the way the um the course works you know the first three months is defense you know we
00:15:29.040 kind of get you get out of the hole you start stop being pushed back and you learn to stand
00:15:32.960 within the armor of god and now it's time to start pushing forward because the goal of spiritual
00:15:36.640 warfare is to push the enemy out of your life you know you've been you've been oppressed you've
00:15:41.980 been pushed back now now you're not being pushed back now you're pushing forward you push them out
00:15:45.640 of your life and it's i think the intuitive thing for us to think of is that we're going to start
00:15:50.360 hurting these entities we're going to start harming them we're going to start smacking satan around
00:15:53.980 that's not how it works because again we're not in the physical realm we're in the spiritual realm
00:15:58.040 and the way you push them out it's actually counterintuitive and one of the most powerful
00:16:03.580 weapons you have in spiritual warfare on the going on offense is forgiveness and it seems
00:16:10.620 completely counterintuitive how is forgiving pushing the enemy out how how is that offensive
00:16:16.220 how what does that do and it first of all we have to have the right definition of for forgiveness
00:16:21.580 because forgiveness is not saying that what happened to you was okay because a lot of us we
00:16:25.820 hold unforgiveness because people have done things to us everywhere there's nobody alive right now
00:16:30.060 who has not had somebody screw them over traumatize them do various things to them that weren't
00:16:35.020 okay whatever it might be from childhood all the way through where you are now
00:16:40.140 forgiveness we have this idea that forgiveness is saying it's okay it's fine now we're going
00:16:44.220 to be friends now i'm just going to forget what happened that's not what it means it's actually
00:16:48.220 far more potent than that what forgiveness means is that you are agreeing that you will not take
00:16:54.700 out vengeance on your own but that you're going to leave it to god that's what true forgiveness
00:16:58.940 is it's brutal okay so we were having a discussion before the show started uh where if you go to my
00:17:05.120 tweets i told that crazy lady that i forgive her and the reason that i did that is exactly
00:17:10.460 that where i'm like now if you do anything like i'm not going to retaliate i'm not doing anything
00:17:17.020 to you and yeah in that way it's kind of brutal because if anybody does anything to you it's
00:17:22.200 going to be god i didn't necessarily forgive this lady this i mean this is a whole series
00:17:25.440 No, I did.
00:17:26.580 But what I did tell her is that they're like, oh, you're calling me names and you're saying
00:17:30.740 these things.
00:17:31.080 I'm like, yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:17:31.720 These are not names that are stuck to you.
00:17:33.440 I'm calling you these things because you need to realize these are constructive criticisms.
00:17:37.300 Yeah, they're criticisms.
00:17:38.300 This is like, I'm just telling you on your face what you are doing right now, how you
00:17:41.380 look, what you're acting like inside and out.
00:17:44.080 You know, it's up to you to stay that way.
00:17:45.960 I don't really care.
00:17:47.140 I'm just letting you know.
00:17:48.120 Yeah.
00:17:48.540 So it's not like a condemnation, but exactly what Ed is saying is the way that I've been
00:17:53.880 thinking lately where it's like yeah right it's like forgiveness isn't just this like oh that's
00:17:58.200 it's actually almost like a like a i don't want to i don't want to frame it this way it's for lack
00:18:02.460 of a better word it's like a trap right it's like go ahead step in that right step in because i
00:18:07.720 forgive you and i'm not retaliating but but yeah you're basically you're sticking god on which is
00:18:12.660 which is worse because god's going to get the correct vengeance because god knows exactly what
00:18:18.500 the damage was he sees it in the physical and the spirit and in spiritual now if you if we seek our
00:18:23.040 own vengeance, which is our instinct. I mean, it's just natural. Somebody smacks you, you want
00:18:26.460 to smack them back. And this is why people misinterpret the whole turn, you know, turn the
00:18:30.700 other cheek, which Jesus doesn't actually say those words. He says, if he offers you, if someone
00:18:35.360 strikes you on the cheek, offer him the other cheek, that's a completely different context.
00:18:39.340 That is not forgiveness. And we can talk about that in a minute if you want.
00:18:41.860 But is that, because that seems like it makes a tremendous amount of sense within the context
00:18:45.680 that we just, it's like, go ahead, compound the interest on this thing.
00:18:49.360 Double your enigree.
00:18:50.520 yeah but people take that to say you know you open your opening yourself to more abuse now if
00:18:54.280 somebody abuses you don't say hey abuse me harder that's how people misinterpret the turn the other
00:18:58.840 cheek because it's basically jesus saying offer him your other cheek jesus was not speaking about
00:19:03.720 forgiveness at that point jesus was actually speaking about believe it or not he's speaking
00:19:07.720 about um obeying the legal system that you're under because okay let's just do it really quick
00:19:12.840 now because in context what jesus was talking about in in the beatitudes in the sermon on the
00:19:17.800 the mount and that's bad matt's not here because i know he probably would have something to say
00:19:21.100 about this but he's speaking to a an ancient israelite audience first century and jesus says
00:19:27.620 and and he says that you know you've heard you know that you should not not resist evil but i'm
00:19:33.760 saying don't resist the evil that you're under that word evil that he uses is actually referring 0.58
00:19:37.560 to the evil influence or the evil authority that you're under if you're a first century jew first
00:19:42.040 century israelite the authority that you were under was a roman empire he's saying and then
00:19:46.680 gave three examples he says if someone strikes your cheek even the other cheek if he says if
00:19:51.080 someone sues you for your coat give him your cloak also and uh i'm sorry what was the third one i
00:19:55.640 forget um oh and if someone compels you to uh go a mile go another mile now to an ancient jewish 0.60
00:20:03.400 mind they know exactly what this meant because these are all roman or greco-roman ideas a roman 0.87
00:20:09.720 soldier could by law because they have to carry a lot of crap on their back they have to carry their 0.96
00:20:13.720 sword to shield all their stuff they could they could compel any um non-citizen which the jews 0.95
00:20:20.280 weren't to carry their crap for a mile only a mile so that was it and they ended they hated this 0.82
00:20:26.280 because he could i mean you say you're hanging out with your friends on the corner doing what 0.98
00:20:30.040 doing your thing a roman soldier walks by says hey you you got to carry myself with me for a mile
00:20:34.200 a mile i'm like dude that's a mile out of my way too bad you got to do it they hated this which
00:20:38.280 understandably but jesus says take another mile don't resist the evil influence striking on the
00:20:42.920 cheek that was not a jewish form of punishment that was a roman form of punishment remember
00:20:47.160 when jesus was arrested in the gethsemane what did they do they hit him in the face that the
00:20:51.640 roman guards did that that was roman thing and then um if someone sues you for your coat give 0.65
00:20:56.440 me your cloak also that's greek that's how that's how the greek courts work that's not how jewish
00:21:00.760 courts worked that's so jesus was saying he was basically saying don't resist the evil influence
00:21:06.760 that you're under agree stay within the laws of the of the of the legal authority that you're on
00:21:12.200 that's what he's talking about he said obey their civic laws obey their penal laws obey their
00:21:16.100 military laws that's what he's saying he wasn't saying be a wuss and just you know offer yourself
00:21:20.740 up to someone who abuses you and people always misinterpret that because they didn't take it out
00:21:23.900 of context i mean that's been um just massively taken out i mean that's something you hear
00:21:28.700 super commonly right to the extent even that uh people will go christianity is a jewish psyop
00:21:34.720 because turn the other cheek is to create a docile christian so that they don't do anything when 0.84
00:21:39.500 their nation is being invaded by you know subversive Jews or whatever the thing is it's turned into a 0.77
00:21:44.480 big Jewish psyop and that's one of the things that it hinges on is this idea of like turning 0.95
00:21:49.160 the other cheek must mean never defend your your your family don't defend your household don't 0.99
00:21:56.740 defend your communities all this insane shit right and that conflicts with what Jesus did 0.97
00:22:01.460 remember when Jesus turned over the you know the the other the tables of the money changers who 0.98
00:22:06.660 cheating people in the and what did he do jesus premeditated he went and he made a cord he tied
00:22:12.100 he took some rope tied knots in it made a whip and then wouldn't beat them you know how long
00:22:15.940 that probably took him it wasn't like a spur of the moment where jesus said i'm pissed off i'm
00:22:19.060 gonna just beat these guys he says no i'm gonna go and make a weapon jesus went and made a weapon
00:22:23.940 then came back then beat the crap out of these guys doesn't sound like turning the other cheek 1.00
00:22:28.420 i really like that when you lay it out like that as premeditated i'm gonna kick your ass 1.00
00:22:33.700 It's like when your mom would say, go give me a belt or go give me a switch. 1.00
00:22:37.700 Jesus would say, wait right here.
00:22:39.700 I'll be back.
00:22:40.700 That's a crazy thing to get hit with, too, if it's like a piece of rope with a bunch of knots tied in it.
00:22:44.700 Dude, he wasn't playing.
00:22:46.700 That's not...
00:22:47.700 Hey, stop that.
00:22:49.700 That was hardcore.
00:22:50.700 Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:22:52.700 That's interesting, too, because it kind of makes you feel like he was probably sturdy looking. 0.63
00:22:56.700 Like if he was swinging on you with a rope and everybody just decided like, oh, shit, don't... 0.97
00:23:00.700 He was a builder, right? 0.99
00:23:01.700 yeah jesus he was a construction worker jesus with his legal father joseph they built houses
00:23:07.060 yeah it's not very many skinny construction workers that's you know that's the cesare
00:23:10.580 border that's the skinny you know the skinny guy with the goatee that wasn't jesus right
00:23:14.500 right right was a big burly guy who was kicking apparently he was kind of intimidating you notice
00:23:19.860 that you know no one ever like tried to take on jesus physically until they had like a group with
00:23:23.700 them you know during during gethsemane i love that idea where they're like yeah not not 1v1
00:23:29.380 i'm not shooting the one with jesus go get the boys bro we're not doing this 1v1 that's crazy
00:23:35.540 i love that oh man so so getting back to forgiveness so what forgiveness is it's not again
00:23:40.900 it's not saying it's okay saying you're not going to take out vengeance because as i was saying
00:23:43.780 before that's our natural inclination somebody does something to me i'm going to get you back
00:23:49.380 but what but again there's two problems with that number one if you get them back it may it may be
00:23:54.660 less than they deserve, which means, you know, they're not getting what they really get, or
00:23:58.380 maybe more than they deserve, in which case you're on the wrong side of justice and God has to equal
00:24:02.320 out that justice with you. Let's say that, you know, on a scale of one to 10, what they did
00:24:06.140 to you was a six, you pay them back at a nine. Well, that's a deficit. God's got to make up for
00:24:10.740 that and say, okay, now you're on the wrong side of justice. Now I got to smack you around to equal
00:24:14.160 things out. What you're doing is basically saying, you know what, I'm not going to take vengeance on
00:24:18.660 you. I'm giving you to God and he's going to take care of you. But of course the downside of that is
00:24:23.920 we don't always see it and we want to see the person who hurt us get hurt but we may not see
00:24:29.540 that let's say you you know let's say somebody did something to you when you were a kid and you're
00:24:33.320 like you know what i've been holding on to this for so long i release you i let you go who knows
00:24:38.160 what that person is god's going to equal it out but you're not going to see it so it's not as
00:24:41.860 satisfying as if you saw the person like you know trip down a flight of stairs or you know whatever
00:24:46.000 But what it actually does is it is the thing that doesn't appease your pride or your ego, right? So it's your pride. It's like, what do you really care about? Do you care about justice being served? Or do you care about your pride and getting what you feel is owed to you? God cares about justice, right?
00:25:04.720 And so if you, you know, if you get to see it, then it's just stoking the flames of your ego or your pride.
00:25:12.980 And it's pride is seems to be the root of all sin.
00:25:17.180 You know, I think you can make a strong argument for that.
00:25:19.420 And so it's fascinating that when you give it up to God, it's like, yeah, you're not you're probably not going to see this play out.
00:25:24.620 It's not going to be satisfying. Justice will be served, but your pride won't be.
00:25:28.440 And it's tough because, you know, depending on the person, maybe some really, really, really bad things were done to you.
00:25:35.520 I mean, just horrible things.
00:25:37.040 I don't want to trigger anyone, but, you know, there are just some bad things that people do, really bad stuff that's hard to let go of.
00:25:44.080 And you want to see, you know, that something happened, but it's not going to.
00:25:48.440 So when you forgive, it's just three, you know, it teaches in the course.
00:25:52.660 You just say, basically, it happened, it mattered, and I release you.
00:25:56.700 That's really what it is.
00:25:57.400 not saying it didn't happen you're not saying it was okay you're saying it it happened you did this
00:26:03.160 it mattered it had an effect on me but i'm releasing all that and what that does in
00:26:07.640 spiritual warfare is it takes away what the this area that the enemies have been occupying in your
00:26:12.360 mind that grudge you've been holding is what's been hurting you and you're pushing them out
00:26:16.920 that's what offensive spiritual warfare is you're pushing them out they no longer have that and it's
00:26:21.160 something i had to do when i was coming up with the court and i was coming up with this lesson
00:26:24.280 this is the one lesson that i taught god brought to me some people who i was still holding grudges
00:26:29.240 against and i had to go back and i had to you know first thing i had to do this is what's brutal
00:26:35.320 about doing the forgiveness you can't just say i'll forgive you you got you have to go in there
00:26:38.920 you have to take yourself mentally back to that situation you have to feel it and say this happened 0.90
00:26:45.400 this hurt the hell out of me this and i'm really god i'm releasing it to you and it it kind of sucks
00:26:52.280 But it's but that's the only way you're going to truly release it and truly free up your mind and kick the enemy out of that portion, out of that area in your head.
00:26:59.960 That is a very interesting. I guess it stands in stark contrast to what, once again, people think being a Christian is all about.
00:27:08.900 You know, it's allowing this thing and forgiving. And it does have this.
00:27:12.760 I think it's what allows people to create the caricature of hippie Jesus so effectively.
00:27:17.380 and it's really not it is um it is warfare it is spiritual warfare right and i think about it too
00:27:24.940 within the context not just having them occupy your mind and then like pushing them out but
00:27:29.400 when iniquity is dealt to you there is it's almost like a spiritual tally like okay you're owed now
00:27:38.420 a thing has been done to you and you're owed somebody is in your debt there's a debt that's
00:27:41.740 owed to you because of this thing that just happened and you could either hold on to that
00:27:46.440 debt and you know partake in whatever that vengeance looks like for you and then you know
00:27:51.520 like you said god forbid you overshoot it or you undershoot it or whatever and it's not justice
00:27:57.500 you're not really capable as as a finite human being of dealing out the exact amount of justice
00:28:02.620 that needs to be done in that particular situation but if you forfeit that tally mark and you go like
00:28:08.580 no no that's that that debt that goes to god like that's between you and god i forgive you like so
00:28:13.960 yeah you're pushed out of my head but it's interesting because i wonder like does that
00:28:17.180 spiritual tally mark then go like god scoops that up and he goes okay now now i've now i have the
00:28:22.880 debt the debt is owed me and and what because what could have been happening is that person who did
00:28:27.120 you wrong they've been skating because you haven't been you haven't done anything to them and you
00:28:31.740 haven't released them so god can't do anything to them so they've just been going along with their
00:28:35.240 life merrily and then you release them and suddenly they're like why is all this crap happening to me
00:28:38.480 because they're finally getting paid back for it.
00:28:41.280 And here's the other thing about it
00:28:42.660 is that every time you talk bad about this person,
00:28:46.480 you are getting vengeance on them.
00:28:48.460 Let's say, you know, Raven, you did something wrong to me
00:28:51.220 and I didn't get vengeance on you directly,
00:28:54.540 but I keep saying-
00:28:55.020 I promise we're going to send you,
00:28:55.980 we're going to send you whatever you need.
00:28:57.620 We'll send you the shirt, we'll send you the thing.
00:28:59.680 It's, I'm very sorry.
00:29:00.740 I haven't forgiven you yet, you're good.
00:29:02.380 All right, let's say every time I talk to someone,
00:29:04.240 I'm saying, you know what, Raven, I can't stand Raven. 1.00
00:29:06.400 That God's idiot is this blah. 1.00
00:29:07.480 So I am telling, I am talking bad about you to other people. 1.00
00:29:10.720 I am getting a form of vengeance on you.
00:29:12.820 And let's say I keep going and I've gone beyond the point of payback.
00:29:16.640 Now, God has to equal out justice to you.
00:29:20.100 So because of all the bad things I've been saying about you, 0.98
00:29:22.760 have you ever wondered why there are certain people who are just, frankly, assholes who never seem to suffer? 0.99
00:29:27.960 Your body is always giving you signals. 0.99

00:29:58.280 You know why? 0.99
00:29:59.280 Because they're assholes to people and then they just forget about it. 1.00
00:30:03.120 They just go along in their life. 1.00
00:30:04.140 then people then now they have hundreds of people talking bad about them and god has to pay back
00:30:09.500 them he has to he has to pay the back because of all the damage that people have been doing to him
00:30:14.940 and his or her and their reputation that's why they never see that's why they seem so insufferable
00:30:19.180 and and bad things don't happen to them because of all the injustice that people have been doing
00:30:24.940 because no one's forgiven them but they may have taken their unforgiveness too far and now god has
00:30:30.780 to pay this person back for all that they're just going along happily with their lives so some of the 0.99
00:30:35.420 most insufferable people are people who are jerks and just killed top's business model of x engagement 0.99
00:30:41.420 oh my goodness yeah no not necessarily i don't know it's like there is there is something to 0.99
00:30:45.980 say about like all right well what about i i understand like when you're crossing the line
00:30:50.540 and you're now you're uh what's the word you're just like you're making stuff up about somebody
00:30:56.300 you're kind of like filling in the the coloring and outside the lines and and you're you're making
00:31:01.020 other people think a thing that is not necessarily true but it's like i think that there's something
00:31:05.580 to be said for hey this is actually what happened here and what i did here is shine a line on it
00:31:10.700 here yeah that's not that's not it's also what's what your intention are you trying to hurt this
00:31:14.940 person telling the truth is stating a fact is not vengeance if you're doing it to try to harm them
00:31:21.100 then yeah then that's that's a problem because that means you haven't forgiven them but so again
00:31:25.740 it doesn't make it right you can say this person molested me this person stole from me that's a
00:31:31.260 fact but if you say this person stole from me don't do business with them or if you say this
00:31:35.260 person did this to me next time you see him you know hit him with a baseball bat different than
00:31:39.660 just stating this thing happened to me yeah there was a lady who who was unfortunately you know
00:31:45.660 molested by a close relative and she tells her story all the time so she's she's named the
00:31:51.740 person she's not getting vengeance on him she's telling her story she's trying to heal herself
00:31:55.500 so just saying it and just stating a fact is not vengeance vengeance is you know you're
00:32:01.820 intentionally trying to hurt this person and the other thing about forgiveness is that it can heal
00:32:05.820 you if you once you let this person go who knows how much you've been holding on to that's been
00:32:11.740 affecting your health has been affecting you mentally so you can actually initiate healing
00:32:16.940 on yourself that could not have been done because god can't heal you until you let go of this thing
00:32:21.580 and here's why because if god were to get if you were not to forgive someone and god took out the
00:32:26.140 vengeance on them and then you went and took vengeance on them yourself well now that person
00:32:30.220 is now you're on the wrong side of justice again so god is not going to equal out justice on the
00:32:35.740 persons or personal or persons who've done you wrong until you release them so you're the one
00:32:40.540 who's withholding the vengeance and the justice that you want this person to get which they
00:32:45.100 richly deserve because you won't let go of it yeah so that that is something that is challenging this
00:32:51.260 This is something I've been trying to implement in my own life.
00:32:54.040 And then, of course, I do find my way of like, you know, some time will pass and I'll look at it. 0.99
00:32:59.260 I want to see what this motherfucker is doing. 1.00
00:33:01.100 You know what I mean? 1.00
00:33:01.460 Like somebody that wronged me in the past or whatever.
00:33:03.700 And then like I don't I don't engage, but I'll go snooping around.
00:33:06.940 And I have this thought every time I do it of whose wife was it when they were escaping Sodom and Gomorrah.
00:33:13.700 And she turns to salt, a pillar of salt when she turns back.
00:33:18.280 And I keep getting kind of like that imagery.
00:33:20.440 It's like if you're going to forgive, and I think it is hard.
00:33:25.840 It's almost against human nature, right?
00:33:27.920 That call for vengeance is pretty strong.
00:33:32.200 And that's something that I just pray to God about.
00:33:35.420 It's like I don't think you're going to just definitively close that door
00:33:39.860 because God's got them and you're not going to look back anymore.
00:33:42.180 You are probably going to struggle with that.
00:33:43.800 And that's something that I talk to God about where I'm like,
00:33:45.500 help me because I'm not so good at that right now at this stage in the game,
00:33:49.420 this not looking back to see what's going on with somebody that slighted me like has god
00:33:54.240 exacted vengeance on you yet you know what i mean like that kind of a deal um but it is it's it's
00:33:59.700 challenging and i always think about you know his wife turning around and getting turned into a
00:34:03.420 pillar of salt like yeah when god tells you to you know to leave you leave and and that's it you you
00:34:09.440 know you shut that door and you keep going if he tells you not to look back then you don't look
00:34:12.440 back yeah you've got to let go and and again it you're not saying it was okay and it doesn't mean
00:34:17.180 not even mad about it anymore you can stay mad it's really about your actions forgiveness is
00:34:21.340 stating your will i am not going to try to equal out justice on my own you can still be mad at them
00:34:26.780 you can still hate them i mean you shouldn't but i mean that's not part of the business you can
00:34:30.700 still feel negatively towards it because they deserve it they did something bad and that and
00:34:34.780 it hurts you so it's not about what you feel it's about your actions you are stating your will
00:34:39.660 i will not seek out justice god you do it and you can stay mad at them and you can you can even
00:34:44.460 rebel if you want when when the bath if you know them and the bad thing happens that oh that's so
00:34:50.220 so sorry yeah yeah but as long as you aren't doing it yourself it it's it's okay and again it can be
00:34:56.140 healing for you but there's a methodology um to it that can help because i had um there was a lady
00:35:02.620 who's in our our um our private coaching that john and i do and she was she was struggling with it
00:35:07.980 like struggling with doing it and i and i told and we gave her some advice and some of the advice was
00:35:12.300 that you have to again it has to be in your mind your imagination imagine yourself when you see
00:35:18.460 them again just imagine seeing this person and shaking hands with them giving them a hug right
00:35:25.820 that kind of helps get you know it's not real it's not really happening you're not seeing them
00:35:28.940 you're not touching them but in your mind you can even imagine them being sorrowful you can imagine
00:35:33.580 imagine them saying you know what i'm sorry for what i did to you and you guys hug it out in your
00:35:37.020 mind and the thing is your amygdala that part in the back of your mind that you know that they call
00:35:41.740 it the lizard brain it's not because we're not we didn't evolve from lizards but it's that part of
00:35:45.980 your mind that controls that keeps a record of all the emotions and those that's where it triggers
00:35:50.140 you and when it sees this if if your amygdala sees this person who hurts you then the first
00:35:55.420 thing it's going to do is make you angry but if you keep imagining i see this person we made up
00:36:00.860 we hug it out you keep doing that over and over again your amygdala is going to think that's
00:36:05.020 that really happened because it doesn't have it it only works on the the files that it has so if
00:36:10.540 you change the mental file of this person that can help ease you into being able to completely release
00:36:16.540 them that's and i did that myself there was there was something that happened to me in my childhood
00:36:21.660 with somebody who did me wrong and i'll never see them again i don't even know if they're still
00:36:25.740 around but i just imagined that person apologizing to me saying hey you know i did this because i was
00:36:31.260 in a bad place you know i had some bad things going on in my life i took it out on you my bad
00:36:35.500 i said you know what i forgive you i released you you know gave him a gave him a bro hug and and and
00:36:41.020 we and i did that like several times in my mind until i actually started to feel it i'm still he
00:36:46.300 was still an i'm still mad at him but it it it it made a difference yeah that may be a method you
00:36:53.180 can you can use if you're struggling with this i i used to do a thing when i was younger i haven't
00:36:58.300 employed it uh so much lately it's been actually many years but i remember when i was homeless
00:37:04.140 autopilot erection nope that i do every day uh that's a concept right now so um one of the
00:37:11.580 things i used to do was this if you smile like even if you're in a bad mood it something about
00:37:18.460 it like tricks i guess the association with the muscular structure of your face in that particular
00:37:23.660 um uh position you know your brain directly associates it with actually being happy yeah
00:37:29.820 and you can if you keep a smile on your face for only like a few seconds dude like 10 seconds
00:37:34.620 before you know it like you're actually kind of like you're happy again you're crushing so um
00:37:39.740 that you know there are these little tricks that you can do that one when i was homeless that was
00:37:43.740 a big one uh when i would just kind of walk around you know what makes me happy what's that i got
00:37:48.540 toast i got a birthday present yeah i'm munching on him now but yeah man shout out to z-man shout
00:37:54.060 Shout out to Z-Man.
00:37:54.960 Mentos. 0.67
00:37:56.080 Case of mint Mentos.
00:37:57.680 I mean, that's like 25 sticks of Mentos.
00:38:00.180 Yeah, I mean, there's about a week's worth of Mentos for me.
00:38:02.720 What the hell, Z-Man? 0.87
00:38:04.160 Well, he did get me a little knife. 0.98
00:38:05.880 It's not your birthday.
00:38:06.600 He got me a little knife recently.
00:38:07.940 It's my birthday soon.
00:38:08.700 I really appreciate that.
00:38:09.200 It was like a week ago.
00:38:10.160 You didn't even get a little knife.
00:38:11.300 I got a little knife.
00:38:12.000 So thank you.
00:38:12.460 Thank you, Z-Man, also for the things that you get me.
00:38:15.800 There you go.
00:38:16.360 That's very nice of you.
00:38:17.760 All right.
00:38:18.420 So where are we going from here?
00:38:20.400 And by the way, I think that's all fantastic.
00:38:22.740 Like that is really, you know, I think that the psychological aspect of it, you know, like you said, like going through that scenario in your mind and it genuinely does alleviate some of the pressure that you feel to hate this person.
00:38:37.180 It was Victor. You guys are lying to me.
00:38:39.060 Oh, I thought Z-Man's name was actually Victor. I thought we were doxing him.
00:38:44.320 I appreciate that, man.
00:38:45.380 OK, well, where the hell's my gift? 0.74
00:38:47.400 Well, Z-Man, never mind. I said that. 1.00
00:38:49.040 All right. Thank you, Z-Man. 0.99
00:38:50.720 Thank you, Victor. 0.74
00:38:51.500 What the hell, Victor? 1.00
00:38:52.160 Don't forgive him, Z-Man, because then God's going to smack him. 1.00
00:38:55.180 Yeah, yeah, yeah, please extract or exactly mention something. 1.00
00:38:58.420 We'll move on to the next thing, but I want to make one thing clear that the Bible says 1.00
00:39:01.200 that we are to forgive generally unbelievers, but with Christians, we're supposed to confront 1.00
00:39:06.900 them for the same reason. 1.00
00:39:08.540 If a Christian does me wrong, if top or rabies, you got to do me wrong, I should confront 1.00
00:39:13.700 you and say, hey, you did me wrong, and then you can make amends to me, and I can let it 1.00
00:39:18.320 go. 0.99
00:39:18.540 you're supposed to forgive unbelievers because then god's gonna get them yeah well that's just
00:39:24.240 something to keep in mind if so if we're supposed to you know as jesus said you know if your brother 0.92
00:39:28.720 does you wrong i'm paraphrasing obviously if your brother does him wrong bring it to his attention
00:39:32.380 if he still doesn't um he doesn't acknowledge it he said then then jesus says bring two others from
00:39:37.360 from the congregation to him and then if he doesn't well okay then you can then you can forgive
00:39:42.940 and let him go but you should give your brother and sister in christ the opportunity to apologize
00:39:48.320 guys make amends on their own so that God doesn't have to come after them. So that's just a little
00:39:52.840 side piece to keep in mind. What do you think about the idea that, because that's a spiritual
00:39:56.840 principle, right? And there are plenty of people who understand spiritual laws and principles that
00:40:03.960 aren't Christian. What do you think about the idea of someone who's not a Christian
00:40:09.340 leveraging that against you? So in other words, let's say you don't do sort of the steps that
00:40:17.820 you're supposed to do like uh if you rebuke a brother in christ and it's not really a christian
00:40:24.140 it's somebody who's just posing as one uh um uh simon the sorcerer right right so you have somebody
00:40:30.580 who's posing as a christian but is not a christian and let's say they're well aware of that spiritual
00:40:36.180 principle you don't rebuke them um one-on-one and then you don't rebuke them with a witness and then
00:40:43.260 you don't you know treat them afterwards like a heathen if they still continue their ways kind of
00:40:46.920 a deal um do you think that there are people that would leverage that against you it's something
00:40:54.200 that's kind of been on my mind lately in this particular on this particular topic people who
00:40:59.520 understand the rules of engagement i think it's a good way to put it and who would leverage those
00:41:06.520 sorts of things against you like you've not gone about this the right way and the iniquity is now
00:41:11.340 shifted and now you know there is you're actually in the wrong you're not justified and so therefore
00:41:16.900 Or, you know, whatever the hell step two is, I wouldn't know what that is.
00:41:20.720 But do you think that there's anybody out there that's doing that sort of thing?
00:41:23.440 It's kind of a weird question, but it's just something I've been thinking about.
00:41:26.140 They can try.
00:41:26.640 I think the thing to keep in mind is that God knows their heart.
00:41:29.280 God, if they're trying to be deceptive, God, you know, what's the verse?
00:41:32.300 God is not mocked.
00:41:34.000 You're not going to be able to use this against them.
00:41:35.980 So if you, if this is a scenario or close to it, let me know.
00:41:40.460 If not, if I'm getting it wrong, let me know as well.
00:41:42.380 But if this person is coming to you and is trying and you are you confront them and maybe they pretend to make amends and say, OK, it's cool.
00:41:51.200 We're good. God knows the truth. God knows. OK, that was not that was not true.
00:41:55.840 But you still release them, though. And so God can still get vengeance on them, because if they if they were trying to make amends and it was done falsely, then they're still on the wrong side of justice.
00:42:05.520 and if you said okay go ahead more so what i was thinking is if you were to um let's say
00:42:12.160 somebody is presenting as a christian and they you believe they're a christian but then you don't
00:42:19.080 you like rebuke them publicly let's just say you get into a public squabble when you start throwing
00:42:23.140 and they go oh you didn't do the channels it's kind of a silly question as i'm saying it um
00:42:29.300 but it's just something like i said that uh uh you know because so many of these rules and i
00:42:33.920 dealt with this 100 correctly this is what your hold of is about yeah no no not yours because she 0.97
00:42:38.780 that person's not christian no no but they're also not presenting as great i don't really give a shit 0.74
00:42:42.080 about that person that person is more of a um that was just rhetoric for me to dust off i'm actually
00:42:47.080 quite upset that i dusted off what i used to do because i don't do it that often um but this
00:42:51.860 person kind of deserved it but but confronting somebody privately about a thing oh yeah yeah
00:42:58.060 that you actually ain't going nowhere i brought it up because uh james williams contacted me not
00:43:03.580 long ago and said that god put it on his heart that i should know that me personally i should
00:43:08.480 know the rules of engagement and he brought up simon the sorcerer people who are posing as
00:43:14.240 christians but are not and that if you don't adhere to these rules of engagement you know
00:43:21.120 it could end up being so that like you were talking earlier um if you're not justified well
00:43:26.520 now god has to exact justice on you because you've you've slipped up and you've done a thing now
00:43:32.080 and so this is actually something i've been thinking about for a couple of weeks now
00:43:36.080 and now that we're talking about i think i'm just having uh trouble uh phrasing it but yeah
00:43:40.140 james just hit me up one day and was like don't know what to do with this holy spirit put this
00:43:45.020 on my heart you need to understand the rules of engagement and i was like well i think it's it
00:43:49.800 leads into what you came here to talk about because david you brought it up to me before
00:43:53.400 the show there's been a person online that i've been i've just been very harsh to i don't care 0.73
00:43:57.100 i've just been calling this person fat you're ugly the things that you've been saying are 1.00
00:44:01.020 disgusting you're a liar as a matter of fact here's some stuff about you but it's like you're 0.99
00:44:04.340 very comfortable doing that to uh other people online so it's like well here it is and again 1.00
00:44:09.960 vengeance is for the lord this is not vengeance this is just more of a mirror that i'm showing
00:44:13.980 you and you're seeing uh miss piggy but uh you you came here to talk about how you talk to demons
00:44:20.460 yes yeah how we talk to d and oh that's it in in two breaths in two breaths i'm dealing with
00:44:28.020 somebody who claims to be a christian or spoke to privately and then publicly and i've condemned
00:44:32.760 and i don't know whatever you guys can go check it out and then i'm also talking to somebody who
00:44:36.720 is listen this person looks like they're involved in witchcraft looks like they have been drained
00:44:42.160 of their louche and life energy and don't have much left in their skin sack uh but uh malice
00:44:49.300 bitterness and hatred and i treat them exactly how i treat them exactly how they are uh i'm
00:44:56.720 perceiving them. I'm perceiving them as as somebody that is exactly those things. And I just go not
00:45:02.100 even worth my time. Here's a couple of words, go away. You don't have to stay like this. But get
00:45:07.460 out of here. I don't want nothing to do with you. There's not going to be a conversation here.
00:45:12.460 That person, I'm talking about like, that's, that's like a demon. This is, this is, it's weird,
00:45:17.460 like instinctually, this is how I felt like dealing with this person, this specific type.
00:45:22.440 like i feel like i'm not talking to a human i'm talking to something else there because your
00:45:27.060 behavior is is weird for a very long time so how how do we talk to demons i've seen how jesus talks
00:45:33.300 to demons he tells them to get out of here exactly well pretty much i mean you you kind of you kind
00:45:37.160 of nailed it in a nutshell so there are two things so there is talking to demons and when i say demons
00:45:42.580 i mean demons fallen elohim any evil spiritual entity versus talking to a person who is possessed
00:45:49.180 by one of these entities which is almost very similar to what you talk to a demonic entity
00:45:54.720 and then talking about talking to someone who are communicating with someone who's being
00:45:58.860 influenced they're not possessed but you know that they are being influenced so there are two
00:46:02.800 different ways let's look at the two categories the first um either directly talking to um spiritual
00:46:09.380 entities or people who are possessed by spiritual energy which is almost the same thing and here's
00:46:13.940 what you do because and this is the type of offensive spiritual warfare that people really
00:46:17.660 think about when i think of spiritual warfare no confrontation you know what and we do we're
00:46:22.540 teaching spiritual warfare the way jesus did it and as you and as you said you command them with
00:46:27.340 authority you do not do not get into conversations with with with demonic entities with any spiritual
00:46:34.220 evil and this is that's the inclination that i've been feeling with this person and okay it comes
00:46:38.780 off as sarcasm and and you know there's an audience so it's a bit performative but it's like this is
00:46:43.100 is not conversational this is for the people behind you yeah and i'm but i want to shine a
00:46:47.260 light on what exactly is happening here because it's disgusting and and it just happens to be
00:46:51.560 embodied by by exact the exact disgust that i'm seeing exude from it physiognomy yeah and i know
00:46:58.400 and now now i'm but now i'm in a situation where i'm like i feel like it's my job to really point
00:47:02.380 this out and i can do it but i'm like i'm slipping i'm slipping into like my old way i don't even do
00:47:06.980 this anymore this is like a thing that i've hung up and i'd rather do other stuff but for some
00:47:10.820 reason i'm like no no no there's an example that needs to be made here it's probably it's probably
00:47:14.660 incorrect i don't know but i i hope people see what's happening so what you do and this is this
00:47:20.120 is this is john linhart's bailiwick i'll use that word again his specialty is is communicating is
00:47:24.720 communication there's there are two main ways to communicate statements and questions when you are
00:47:30.160 dealing with demonic entities or people who are possessed by demonic entities you make statements
00:47:34.980 you do not ask them questions jesus never the only time jesus has a question of a demonic entity was
00:47:40.440 asking him its name. And that's what we're going to get into special circumstances, because that's
00:47:46.200 a situation where you can actually have more power to command them if you have his name. That's the
00:47:50.560 only time Jesus asked a question. You don't ask questions. You don't answer questions. You make
00:47:55.400 statements and you make them with authority. So, Top, when you're dealing with someone, if you are
00:47:59.460 convinced that they are demonic, you can make statements. You don't do that with a human being
00:48:06.800 you're not um whose will you don't know and i'll talk about that in a moment that again that's in
00:48:11.200 in john's area so i'll have to use what what you know what he teaches but when jesus was talking
00:48:15.920 to demons he he commanded them with the authority you know come out of her come out of him get out
00:48:21.840 go when jesus was being tempted in the wilderness by satan no conversations he just he quoted you
00:48:29.440 can quote the word of god jesus quoted the word of god and he said get behind me you have no place
00:48:34.800 here you it is written this you he only made statements so why is this why don't you want
00:48:40.400 to converse with them because people are tempted when they are um confronted they want to they
00:48:47.280 want to have a conversation with with them they want to say you know why are you here what are
00:48:51.040 you doing you don't do that and the reason is these entities have more information than you
00:48:56.880 they are operating at a higher level and they will like the like the police even if
00:49:00.720 reach your miranda rice anything you say can and will be used against you they are trying to get
00:49:05.280 information from you and that information will be that will harm you let's look at an example
00:49:10.720 of when someone did have a conversation eden when the nakash when the serpent came to eve and said
00:49:17.120 did god really say you can't eat many of the fruit of the garden she could have just made a statement
00:49:21.120 we she could have made a statement and then just left but when she or she could have just said get
00:49:25.840 out or what you know you have no place here they had that right because adam and eve had they had
00:49:32.160 dominion over the earth and over everything in the earth they could have commanded satan the nakash
00:49:37.280 the serpent to go and he would have had to leave and this is another important point when jesus
00:49:42.000 cast out demons he did not do it through his power as the son of god he did it through his authority
00:49:46.960 as the second adam remember when jesus jesus came he he fulfilled everything that adam was supposed
00:49:53.280 to he corrected all of adam's mistakes he lived the life adam was supposed to live that's how he
00:49:57.520 had the authority because adam and eve had dominion over the earth and over everything in it
00:50:02.080 so but what did eve do instead she got into a conversation and then and it shows and it exposed
00:50:08.480 the weakness when she said we can't we can't eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil nor
00:50:12.880 can we touch it then or will surely die that gave satan information oh she just added to the word
00:50:19.600 of god she's in pride she wants to be like the elohim now i know how to get to her now i can 0.75
00:50:25.440 tell her if you eat of this fruit you will be like the elohim knowing good and evil 0.90
00:50:28.960 so that's why you don't talk to them because they're they're smarter than us they have more 0.99
00:50:32.320 information than we do these entities have been around for hundreds thousands of years you are
00:50:36.720 not their first rodeo okay we've been around what you know 30 40 50 years they've been around for
00:50:42.400 thousands you're not going to outsmart them you are not and i don't you speak to them in authority
00:50:49.200 when i when i was at a when you were when you're in the army what did they tell you to do when
00:50:52.960 you're captured you give name rank name ranking serial number they ask you well how much ammunition
00:50:58.560 does your did your platoon have name rank serial number troop movements you cannot try to outsmart
00:51:03.520 them you can't say well maybe i'll give them wrong information and and and then that'll help
00:51:09.200 no because maybe the person who's interrogating you as a professional maybe they just want to
00:51:13.200 know how much you know maybe they're not trying to get facts they're just trying to see what your
00:51:17.360 situation is you don't know that they have more information than you so that's why you don't get
00:51:21.600 in a conversation with these entities you command them you you can quote the word of god to them you
00:51:26.720 can tell them to get out you can ask them their name you can do those sorts of things that's but
00:51:32.000 that's it you command them with authority never get into a conversation because it's never going
00:51:37.040 to go your way that's good yeah that's good advice we'll read this in a second but i think a mistake
00:51:42.960 that i may have made is just keep playing around with this because i know that i understand that
00:51:47.840 uh principle very well of uh you don't engage back and forth but then it's also kind of like
00:51:53.920 i don't know i spent what was like maybe three hours playing with a snake and i'm kind of like
00:51:58.400 that's a little dangerous too this it's it's done now it's gone because i've had my fun like i don't
00:52:03.600 know it's just like i got to a certain point where i was just like i'm gonna play with this thing and
00:52:07.840 And I know exactly what to do
00:52:08.940 because the behaviors are predictable
00:52:10.720 and we've done this before.
00:52:13.220 And I do it, it comes out all the way to the end
00:52:14.880 and I go, there it is, boom, gone.
00:52:16.280 And now it's done.
00:52:17.140 But it's just like, yeah,
00:52:18.280 it's something to be very careful with
00:52:19.940 because you're playing with the snake,
00:52:22.780 with a literal snake.
00:52:24.400 Maybe you don't do it at all.
00:52:25.120 They can lull you into like that false security
00:52:27.200 and then they bite you.
00:52:28.880 Yeah, I mean, I wasn't lulled into a false security
00:52:31.200 at all with this thing.
00:52:31.920 I know exactly what I'm dealing with,
00:52:33.080 but playing with it in general,
00:52:35.220 it's a dangerous thing because I'm like,
00:52:37.100 I have to showcase this like it needs to be showcased to my audience specifically because
00:52:42.040 I'm teaching you a thing look at this thing look at what's happened here that's usually what you do
00:52:46.960 is you talk behind the person you've said that before yeah where it's like I'm not talking to
00:52:51.020 you I'm talking to everybody behind you they're like you you're quote tweeting me which means
00:52:54.400 that like you've said a thing and then I've taken it and I've reposted it but with my own commentary
00:52:58.540 above they go you're quote tweeting me haha look at how insecure you must want likes I'm like it's
00:53:03.220 not for you i'm talking like if you're here i'm i'm doing this and i'm speaking behind you i'm
00:53:08.340 speaking to the people there's 50 000 of them that may see this thing at some point it's not for you
00:53:13.920 but still i'm in i'm in an area where like this is yeah it's an arena that is danger i'm basically
00:53:20.680 snake charming or or what would you call like being like a matador in a way whereas right big
00:53:25.640 fat bull is running at me and i've done it before but yeah it's a dangerous game it's just and it's
00:53:30.420 why i don't do it much anymore like i don't dust that thing off because i got very good at it and
00:53:35.480 sometimes it could be misguided but whatever you want to read that yeah uh sparrow says uh is
00:53:41.860 pressing charges or using the legal system considered seeking vengeance thanks for the
00:53:46.380 show guys that's actually a interesting question i know it's not because you aren't doing the
00:53:50.740 vengeance you are you're operating within law you're not you're not doing the vengeance you
00:53:54.320 have if somebody robs you and you have them arrested that's then you're done you aren't
00:54:00.120 sentencing them that's the that's the the job of the judge in the legal system so justice would be
00:54:05.560 oh you robbed me i'm going to rob you that's that's equal that's running equal justice calling
00:54:11.060 the authorities on because you know what the authorities are going to do maybe he might be 0.65
00:54:13.740 found innocent you don't know right but it's predicated on them breaking the law right if
00:54:19.080 anything is if there is justice exacted against them it's because they were you know uh seemed to
00:54:24.560 have breaking the law and the laws are broken the law rather the law and the court system is
00:54:28.240 supposed to be a reflection of uh the court system in heavenly courts well we're called to
00:54:33.480 to not i mean but maybe it's maybe it'll be close enough which but we are called to operate within
00:54:38.940 these parameters right like you know it's not like we're supposed to that's what we got burn down the
00:54:43.300 system or anything like that like it's like no you're you're passing through this and like use
00:54:47.020 these these machines and use these systems well i think because the just so the justice might not
00:54:52.980 be equally doled out depending on the system that you have like a i don't know the lady lindsey
00:54:58.240 clancy kills her kids or whatever it is and it's mistrial or whatever it may be or maybe the
00:55:03.520 sentencing that she would get isn't long enough it's not on you anymore you've you've already
00:55:07.860 passed that on to right the the system on earth that you've just highlighted it right they're
00:55:13.040 supposed to be replicating the system in heaven of justice so that's on them right yeah you
00:55:16.900 you you've released a person you can also release a legal system like you know if somebody if somebody
00:55:20.660 does something wrong to you and even the law doesn't doesn't equal all justice and you're
00:55:24.420 mad at the law you know you can you can you can release that too and god can will have to will
00:55:29.860 have to uh equal out justice on the the judge who maybe did something wrong or the attorneys
00:55:35.380 who did something wrong and the person who who perpetrated it now if you were to if you don't
00:55:39.860 like somebody and you like you know take uh one of your possessions and you plant it in their house
00:55:44.500 and then you call the cops say well that's that's a different that no that's yeah that's vengeance
00:55:49.700 yeah but like as far as the legal system i don't you know they don't get it right all the time
00:55:53.860 right some of the punishments are kind of accurate but then some of them are even harsh
00:55:57.780 some of them are too harsh some i mean some are you in a cage for abortion is legal in many states
00:56:02.340 also so baby murder is fine so this is like these are flawed systems but it's the best that we're
00:56:06.180 dealing with and i don't i don't know yeah but yeah and but you're still releasing it releasing
00:56:10.980 this person to the system and then if something doesn't go right well then god still has the
00:56:14.580 responsibility to make sure that justice is equal out and then if justice is is too harsh on the
00:56:18.660 person if they get a sentence worse than they deserve well then that person now has to release
00:56:23.220 that to god so that god can can pay them back but you aren't that's not your responsibility you
00:56:27.620 didn't do anything wrong you just use the system and i want to back up top to what you were saying
00:56:32.420 before about talking behind the person there's biblical precedent for that because when you look
00:56:36.740 at uh uh matthew chapter 16 when which you know the catholics favorite verse and also the little
00:56:43.460 season people at the end of 16 about jesus said he would return during the lifetime of his disciples
00:56:47.940 he did not but that's a whole other thing um get my book for that but at the beginning of chapter
00:56:52.660 16 is when you know jesus has the upon this rock i will build my church talking to peter and of
00:56:57.060 course the catholics and the orthodox our orthodox friends say well no jesus was appointing peter to
00:57:00.740 be the leader of the church that's no that's that's your tradition isn't that that had nothing to do
00:57:04.740 with it but which is which is interesting because first if he elevates
00:57:08.580 Peter to this high role then two verses later he calls Peter Satan because after
00:57:14.220 after Peter says you know you're you're you're the Christ's son the living God
00:57:18.300 and Jesus says blessed are you Peter for flesh and blood is not revealed to you
00:57:21.720 my father in heaven and thou art Peter and upon this rock will build my church
00:57:24.840 and against the hell will not prevail against me and then he just starts
00:57:28.300 talking about how he's going to die soon and then Peter says oh no Lord you're
00:57:32.460 going to die and what does jesus say he says get behind me satan because you're you're trying to
00:57:37.420 be a stumbling block so he appoints peter to be the first pope and then like a verse later he
00:57:42.060 calls him satan huh interesting that might be accurate well but what jesus is saying he is not
00:57:49.740 he is telling he's talking to his disciples saying that this what came out of peter was
00:57:56.860 just just like god spoke through peter when he called when he affirmed jesus as the christ
00:58:01.580 satan was talking through peter when he said no just far be it from you to fulfill your mission
00:58:07.340 and so he was giving the disciples the other disciples an example of this is what satan does
00:58:12.780 he can speak through you this way so obviously peter was still still good obviously you know
00:58:17.260 he's one of the great apostles but he was speaking behind peter to the actual entity that was speaking
00:58:23.820 through him so you can do that and that's so there's a precedent for that so i think you're
00:58:28.060 perfectly justified and make in and making this person an example to the audience of of what's
00:58:33.260 wrong here without confronting or or necessarily getting some type of vengeance on that person
00:58:38.860 directly there you go it was biblical go i don't think it was biblical i said some horrific to her
00:58:47.980 well i didn't read everything i didn't mean what you said i'm just saying from a principle
00:58:50.940 standpoint yeah yeah yeah there's precedent for it so let's talk a little bit about confronting
00:58:55.900 someone who was under the influence of who may be under influence but not directly possessed with
00:59:01.660 them you can mean you do the opposite of making statements you ask them questions because you need
00:59:06.300 for them to state their will of who they are being influenced by because you don't know
00:59:11.820 you suspect that this person is under the influence of something evil but you don't know
00:59:16.140 that for sure you're not you're not in their head or their heart what you can do is ask them a
00:59:19.020 question what does she mean by that what are you trying to accomplish what do you hope is going to
00:59:23.260 to happen next. And then if they answer the question, then that's going to reveal their
00:59:28.020 intention. Or if they don't answer the question, that'll also reveal their intention because
00:59:32.140 these demonic entities, they don't answer questions. They don't communicate with you
00:59:36.460 that way. They don't want to answer questions. They want to ask you questions, but they don't
00:59:39.000 want to answer them. So what this does is it keeps you on the right side of justice. Because if
00:59:44.160 you're making statements on them and you say, you know what, you're possessed by a demon and
00:59:46.960 they're not, what did you just do? You just publicly lied about them. And now God has to
00:59:52.280 bring out now god has equal out justice so when you have statements on someone go ahead i i only
00:59:57.840 had a brief interaction with her and i asked her i saw one thing that i said this this stands out
01:00:03.800 as very strange to me and i said what did you mean by this well what's the issue with this
01:00:08.760 particular thing here that you you've highlighted whatever it was very simple and she flat out said
01:00:13.120 i have no interest in answering this and i'm i'm done and it was like very reasonable i wasn't i
01:00:18.720 wasn't being rude not like nothing was you know you did the mr nasty thing i woke up i saw the
01:00:23.540 whole thing i was like what is this what can you talk to me about this what did you mean by this
01:00:27.140 and she was like just not answering that at all what was it it was specifically that she she goes
01:00:32.460 um i was gonna come on your show and then i i saw this bro grove thing and i and that's when i
01:00:40.060 stopped and i was like so you saw the name of our comedy conspiracy event and you decided to leave
01:00:48.120 me on red after I asked you to come on the show a year ago why like that's a bizarre thing it's
01:00:54.460 a silly name she played the fifth it's a comedy yes flat out was like not answering that and I
01:00:58.900 was like that's bizarre because you've engaged with everything except for this one reasonable
01:01:04.640 request by me your body is always giving you signals whoop helps you understand them whoop

01:01:31.540 whoop can take you try whoop free for 30 days at whoop.com and i just thought that was fascinating
01:01:38.560 because i i felt composed or compelled to ask a question i was like before i get all in this and
01:01:43.480 start swinging hammer and everything like oh no this person's completely that that's kind of
01:01:47.620 bizarre bro i i i understand what i'm dealing with because there were questions or answers or prompts
01:01:53.000 that i'm i'm posing to this person to answer me back and i realized oh no no there's never an
01:01:57.240 answer back so it's like so you're not from my from me either there's going to be an insult i'm
01:02:02.140 going to insult you on on the outside i really hope you stop and take a look at yourself that's
01:02:06.600 interesting but like that's what this is what we're doing here we're picking up a mirror you're
01:02:10.260 holding it to me i don't i don't see the reflection that you're trying to pose but i'm going to hold
01:02:14.060 this one to you and it's accurate it's deadly and that's what happened but whatever that i'm done
01:02:18.300 with that now it's a weird game to play it's a sign of deception someone who will not answer
01:02:23.640 your questions they are being intentionally deceptive they are telling you that they are not
01:02:27.360 an honest operator and that and they're going to go away that's the other thing that you that you
01:02:31.800 that will that you will find when you ask them questions if they answer them it will tell you
01:02:35.360 what their mindset is if they don't answer the question then they're going to go away
01:02:39.120 or you can say you know what because i've had this happen many times where someone will confront
01:02:43.460 me on something doctrine or whatever and i will ask them a question and they want to answer it
01:02:47.480 and they'll ask me another question this is my least favorite thing that's why i hate doing 0.98
01:02:50.680 debates i'm not doing them anymore for a couple of reasons number one they're gay and number two 0.81
01:02:54.980 debates are unrighteous because righteousness the only way to be righteous is to um operate 0.63
01:03:00.760 from the idea that you could be wrong right debates are the opposite debates are you always
01:03:05.080 trying to prove yourself right. That's pride. And that's why I, when I would get into these
01:03:09.240 debates, I did a bunch of little season debates. And even after I pretty much won them all because
01:03:13.700 the little season is ridiculous, but I never felt good about it. I didn't feel like satisfied. I
01:03:19.300 felt like there was something wrong in my spirit. Now it was, it was because I was not doing what
01:03:22.820 God wanted me to do. God was not wanting me to try to prove myself right. Say again. I said,
01:03:26.880 when it's over, you're like, that sucked. It feels like, yeah, it did. It did. I didn't like it.
01:03:30.340 It's like having sex with a prostitute. You're like, I would just be like, this is awful. 1.00
01:03:33.820 was a bad idea in the moment it felt like yeah you know i i made my points and you couldn't respond
01:03:38.620 to them so blah blah you know like that's not this did not feel satisfying because i wasn't doing it
01:03:44.460 i was doing for the wrong reasons i was trying to be right and that's that's pride and the opposite
01:03:49.980 of pride is okay is it possible that i was wrong that's why i intentionally put a chapter in that
01:03:53.820 little season book saying okay if the little season is right this is what the world would
01:03:57.260 look like so i'm here here's here's how you can be right if this thing is happening but in any case
01:04:01.420 the whole point um of of that is that when um when someone does not answer your question
01:04:07.980 they're intentionally being deceptive so so when i've had people confront me about things and in
01:04:13.020 when they've tried to debate me and i'll make a point now i ask them a question and they won't
01:04:16.700 answer it they'll just move on to something else like and i say no no no no we are not going to
01:04:21.580 move on until you either answer my question or admit that you're wrong but we're not we're not
01:04:27.900 going to keep moving the goalposts that's one of my least favorite things when you're talking to
01:04:30.940 someone when you make a point and ask them a question and instead of addressing your question
01:04:34.860 or acknowledging it it's okay what's what's the next thing no no no no no no yeah tell them we
01:04:39.500 are this conversation you either answer my question or this conversation is over yes yeah oh i've done
01:04:43.900 that before i've had those moments where i you know i answer a thing that they asked and it was
01:04:47.980 definitively you know proven that they're wrong and they immediately try to shift it and i'll do
01:04:51.660 that it's like you're either going to concede and acknowledge this or we're not we're not engaging
01:04:55.900 anymore it's over this is enough to come back to i guess i think it was the beginning of the show
01:04:59.660 or maybe pre-show where uh the alex soren episode just released that's right yeah i was dealing with
01:05:04.220 a lot of these people in the same way they were approaching me in this very combative way and it's
01:05:08.300 just dismissive insult everybody laugh and it's like it's a bit of psychological warfare and alex
01:05:14.460 came and he said something i did the same technique to him and then i realized like oh no he's being
01:05:19.500 genuine because the question that i'm posing to him i was like that was actually answered earnestly
01:05:24.220 And I have to go back. And that's my fault. Now, now it's like there's an injustice here. So like now, now I opened up a dialogue in the DM to talk with him because I was like, I read that wrong. But there's also a hundred of you guys attacking me in the same way. And then, but there's one, there's one that's not. And I'm like, all right, well, let's have the conversation. I thought it was a good conversation. But yeah, it's, it's, man, it's, it's a weird terror. It's not, it's not natural to the human condition to do this at this field and this level in that venue.
01:05:54.220 Yeah, that's why I was telling you that somebody hit us up
01:05:56.880 and they want us to be part of like a 10 v.
01:05:59.340 One debate.
01:06:00.680 Ed's going to do it for us.
01:06:02.160 Ed's going to step in in our place.
01:06:03.960 But like, what an insane premise.
01:06:06.580 I mean, who even knows? 1.00
01:06:07.900 One of them was like one dude versus 10 trannies or something like that. 1.00
01:06:12.020 But I mean, honestly, yeah, kind of fantastic. 1.00
01:06:16.520 But like, yeah, if you when you see modern day debate
01:06:19.920 and you go, it's not about the truth
01:06:21.480 because the truth is external to the individual.
01:06:23.880 so you have to remain humble because you may be wrong and what's really important here is the
01:06:28.420 truth and so in order to be able to come to that conclusion you have to be able to be wrong because
01:06:33.600 it's not mutually exclusive to you um that's not what's happening in modern day debate what an
01:06:39.020 insane way to take whatever debate has become and put that on display uh like getting 10 versus one
01:06:47.020 like it's if you watch the videos there's no there's no debates at all it's just everybody's
01:06:52.200 just screaming and it's insane and it's all about getting a clippable moment was this the one that
01:06:56.160 uh tim pool walked out of too i think it's the same oh i don't i don't think it was i think it's
01:06:59.940 a different one because tim pool sat in the middle of the room and everybody's doing and
01:07:03.260 everybody got around him but they had like okay what i don't know what it was yeah everybody's
01:07:07.160 doing it it's not about the truth it's in like bizarre uh spectacle you know that uh that that
01:07:13.640 i don't think it's i don't think it's the one you guys are talking about but it was i think
01:07:16.880 some famous people have done you know candace owens did one like pbd did mom where it's basically
01:07:20.700 like one person against like a bunch of about 20 of them and they all they just they're at a table
01:07:25.700 and they come to the table one by one yeah as a question like it wasn't pbd it was it was like
01:07:30.140 another a christian guy he was the one person and like a gay kid came over to him and he said you 0.97
01:07:33.900 know um something about you know if i was born this way why i can god damn me and everything 0.82
01:07:38.500 whatever but i think that's different than what than the one you're talking about i mean that
01:07:42.260 one almost sounds a little bit more reasonable this one i think is a little bit more like shock
01:07:45.660 value. It's like it's a Jerry Springer of debate. And I go, yeah, you wouldn't be able to even
01:07:51.300 create that model if it wasn't for the mockery that debate has become as of late anyway. Right.
01:07:56.100 It's not this. If debate was an actual respectable thing that led to the truth and a synthesis of
01:08:01.160 ideas and all these other things, you would never be able to pull off this thing. But since debate
01:08:05.200 is already a shit show, let's do 10 V1, baby. Let's get crazy with it. Let's do one dude versus 0.99
01:08:11.180 10 trannies why not you know and it's just now it is and i i almost appreciate that more i'm like 1.00
01:08:16.380 yeah yeah let's let's do the the circus that this actually is you know or make us a circus of it 0.64
01:08:22.540 that is actually deserving of what uh you know debate currently is the current state of debate
01:08:27.660 so yeah i have no interest in it it's a it's a nightmare and then even if you win it's like that
01:08:31.660 felt gross it doesn't so here's the opposite or the way to do this properly this is actually
01:08:37.260 something i proposed to someone who i'm not going to name the person that's a person at bro grove
01:08:40.300 who wanted to debate me it it was it wasn't anybody you ever thought it was just like somebody
01:08:45.980 they weren't even a content creator they were just somebody who just one of the fans wow boy
01:08:51.340 this is one of the employees at the venue yeah it was a cop shout out to that guy but what he said
01:08:58.540 was you know i want to have a debate with you on this i said here's something i said i don't do
01:09:01.500 debates anymore because that's in pride i i don't want to be in pride anymore but here's what i will
01:09:05.180 do i will get on a venue with you and what i will do is i will listen to you you say what you say
01:09:11.980 and i will and i will hear everything you say and i will explain it back to you to your satisfaction
01:09:16.700 that to make sure i understand it and then i will explain to you my point of view and you explain it
01:09:21.260 back to me to my understanding to my to my uh you know to my uh i i took to my approval and that way
01:09:26.860 we both understand each other so right he didn't want to do it i'm like okay so then your goal is
01:09:31.740 It's not an understanding.
01:09:32.760 Your goal is conflict.
01:09:33.820 I'm not interested.
01:09:34.860 Right.
01:09:35.560 Do you want to, I'm willing to try to understand you to the point where I can repeat your argument
01:09:39.460 back to you, to your satisfaction.
01:09:41.140 And I want you to do the same to me.
01:09:42.520 And then we will end up understanding each other.
01:09:44.780 Your body is always giving you signals.
01:09:47.640 Whoop helps you understand them.

01:10:15.620 But he didn't want that.
01:10:17.440 He's like, I don't want to do that.
01:10:18.300 I'm like, well, then you aren't interested in fellowship or understanding.
01:10:22.160 You're interested in conflict, and I'm not doing it.
01:10:24.340 yeah it's uh it is it's a it's a frustrating thing but it seems to be the the mode lately
01:10:30.140 like shout out to I I love Sam Tripoli he's got a thing world war debate in fact uh some of our
01:10:35.860 favorite people are about to be I think it did it just happen or it's about to happen
01:10:39.020 and I think tomorrow I think this is a little bit of a slippery thing I think what what we
01:10:43.480 might actually see on this debate is actually fantastic so Sam has word word world I was on
01:10:51.200 yeah i was on sam's show recently and i think he mentioned that in in the pre-show i think i don't
01:10:55.040 think it was yeah word world debate word war debate world world he's gonna get together um
01:11:03.360 james williams of dark waters yeah james i was talking about that yes yeah and uh and dr heather
01:11:08.880 lynn um who are two of my favorite people and they're gonna debate um aliens or demons you
01:11:17.040 you know, like, which one is the reality of the situation. And I've talked to both of them
01:11:21.540 separately. And then I facilitated a conversation between them. And let's just say that Dr. Heather
01:11:27.840 Lynn, who's going to be on the alien side, number one, we've already you can go back and look at our
01:11:32.420 discussions with her on on this show. And you'll know where she stands on the topic. She's very
01:11:37.040 much in alignment with a lot of our research. But she believes in the the principle of debate,
01:11:42.880 where you have these two opposing ideologies. They come together and they meld and there's a
01:11:49.980 synthesis of ideas and the data that's incorrect falls away. And so what's left isn't this thing
01:11:57.560 where one person wins or the other person wins. It is this Venn diagram where you get rid of the
01:12:04.080 edges and you have the truth of the situation. That is a little bit of this and a little bit
01:12:08.940 of that uh because that is usually the the the likely truth of this situation is there is truth
01:12:14.980 in what you're saying and there's truth in what i'm saying and instead let's work to get rid of
01:12:19.440 the things that are not true so i think we're going to see a really fantastic and i hope that
01:12:24.320 people see this and they realize like this is what debate is it's not this i win it's not snide
01:12:29.580 cutting comments yeah it's not um debate tactics where you're using straw man and you're moving the 0.99
01:12:36.420 goalposts and you're doing all this dumb gay shit like this is an actual conversation that because 0.99
01:12:41.900 I told the both of them I said this is something that's incredibly important um and and they're 1.00
01:12:48.220 both sides have a tremendous amount of data the sides that believe that this is aliens and the
01:12:52.380 sides that believe like no these are inherently demonic entities and the data is so compelling
01:12:57.340 and so important that this has to be done justice I have a feeling we're gonna see so there are ways
01:13:02.220 to do it there are ways to do it um but that is to say like right now debate is you know kind of
01:13:07.780 hot right it's it's it's the the the big thing right now and i hope that what we see with this
01:13:13.600 upcoming one kind of changes the conversation a little bit and see and shows people what
01:13:16.960 it actually could be because if you haven't been familiar with debate if you've never watched it
01:13:21.180 and you've only been you know privy to it lately as it's gaining virality on on x and everything 0.99
01:13:25.920 you think it's a shit show you think it's completely stupid it's like uh it's like it's 0.99
01:13:30.600 professional wrestling for intellectuals it's yeah it's fighting for people who can't fight 1.00
01:13:35.240 yeah it's like what the one we didn't talk about this i think it happened between our shows but
01:13:38.800 like when uh candace owens was debating what's in this chain smoking guy who's always who's always
01:13:42.920 like debating um uh prostitutes oh dude i can't stand that guy yeah yeah so i i watched some of
01:13:48.360 that as much as i could stand maybe half an hour and it was ridiculous it was like this isn't help
01:13:52.160 this isn't doing anything if if the goal is to find out what happened to charlie kirk this is
01:13:56.400 doing nothing for that all this is doing is just throwing red meat to people on on either side
01:14:01.820 whether you think it was whether you're on the conspiracy side or the or whatever you know the
01:14:06.680 the legal the government side it's just throwing red meat to them no one's convinced of anything
01:14:10.880 no one is changing their mind based on this it's professional wrestling my side good your side bad
01:14:16.180 and all it was reinforced it i'm like what was the point of this yeah yeah a lot of these guys
01:14:20.680 lately too um i think the point of it was for canada to get paid well yeah there's that i mean
01:14:25.020 i should be getting paid for it i'd take 300 grand to do it too and oh yeah yeah but a lot
01:14:31.100 of these guys you'll see like the way that they interact like before they go into these debates
01:14:34.860 when you're leading up to the debate when people are having some intellectual contention on the 0.98
01:14:38.300 internet it's like fighting words dude it's like shit that you would say to somebody like in the 0.98
01:14:43.000 streets you know when things are about to get physical and violent right nobody in this arena 0.99
01:14:48.780 is capable or willing to you know engage in violence which is obviously reasonable but this
01:14:54.980 this comes off as the same thing it's like like you said intellectual wrestling it's wwe for
01:15:00.320 intellects but it is it is like all of the same energy of a street fight it's bizarre and gross
01:15:06.180 to watch and then you had all the people coming on after like ian carroll's of the world say okay
01:15:10.300 here's who won here's all the gotcha moments i'm like okay this is what what the hell's going on
01:15:14.100 here yeah you're still a guy who's dead who's a father of children who's never gonna see their
01:15:18.600 their father again and you guys are using it to again for professional wrestling or commentary
01:15:23.380 on it i'm like this is gross that's a horrifying that's a horrifying picture that ed has painted
01:15:28.600 where like we've not found the truth of this there's there's children without a father and
01:15:32.740 and and you know whatever's going on with his wife and and and they're doing like this is the
01:15:37.820 highlights from the from the argument about what is like whoa bro espn and like they parade out
01:15:43.000 a dead body yeah yeah okay i mean if that's what you guys want to do go to the camera real quick
01:15:47.460 and slow that down jim you can see here his foot is shaking uncontrollably he's very nervous like
01:15:54.020 yeah they literally did that well this is the point where andrew lost yeah andrew this is the
01:15:59.100 part where andrew lost look at look at look at his eye twitched yeah yeah yeah oh god but that's
01:16:04.300 it is so in the same way it is um it is the equivalent of wwe right you're getting you're
01:16:09.740 getting replays on the you know whatever uh news publication or something like that you know it's
01:16:14.940 it's like you're re re-watching the highlights from uh a sporting event over the weekend very
01:16:19.900 weird very very weird yeah so bringing it back to the to a bit of spiritual warfare stuff so
01:16:25.020 those are the kinds so when you that's why you you just ask questions and that makes it because
01:16:29.260 Because debate is just people making statements on each other.
01:16:31.920 And that is poor communication.
01:16:34.120 So here's the sign of knowing that someone has some humility.
01:16:38.120 And when you ask them a question, usually when people are asked a question they can't answer, it's because they don't know.
01:16:43.200 If someone is willing to say, I don't know the answer to your question, that's a sign that you're dealing with someone whose thought process is actually mature.
01:16:54.500 And someone you can actually have a conversation with.
01:16:55.900 You know what?
01:16:56.440 I don't know the answer to your question.
01:16:57.800 I'll find out, but I don't know the answer to it.
01:16:59.260 that's somebody you can like you know like i think i can start to trust you right otherwise
01:17:03.660 someone who will not answer your question again they're in deception and and again and they will
01:17:08.540 take themselves out of the conversation so to wrap it up to with the demonic entities with the fallen
01:17:13.420 ones you speak with to them in authority you do not get into conversations with them with human
01:17:19.260 beings who you aren't sure you ask them questions to and if you ask them enough questions they will
01:17:23.180 eventually reveal whether whether they are on the side of evil or they'll walk away and that means
01:17:29.500 they're being deceptive so so it's that's that's how you do that it's it's tough sometimes to do
01:17:35.100 because as we said a lot a lot of the things that we've been talking about today are counterintuitive
01:17:40.220 yeah try forgiving um not going after people just you know ask them questions instead of telling you
01:17:46.140 you're wrong and all this kind of stuff but that's the proper way to do it to keep yourself on the
01:17:50.460 right side of god's justice because that's really the whole point of this yeah and because what
01:17:55.020 we're teaching overall in spiritual warfare is how we're going to get into this more um in the
01:18:00.220 later stages of the course when you're dealing with really intense stuff it's the question is
01:18:04.060 question is can you maintain your communication with god when you're in these really tough
01:18:09.340 situations which we'll be talking about in like the third quarter because when we get into some
01:18:13.340 of like the really brutal things like when dealing with things like addictions and generational
01:18:16.940 curses and sickness and intercession we're going to talk about intercession which is mean you you're
01:18:21.660 standing in the gap on behalf of someone else you can't do that if you don't have your head together
01:18:25.980 so the whole point of it is can you withstand the attack and still maintain a good relationship with
01:18:31.340 god a good standing with god so that he can still flow through you because if you are not forgiving
01:18:36.540 if you are not showing gratitude if you are on the wrong side of justice then god can't flow
01:18:41.500 through you which means you're going to fail in spiritual warfare yeah i think that's huge and
01:18:47.080 part of the thing that really tells me that that's the truth is it is like the hard thing to do it's
01:18:52.180 a hard thing to do for a time i think it gets easier the more you you repeat it um but oftentimes
01:19:00.260 when it comes to especially like confrontation like the hard thing to do is usually the right
01:19:05.580 thing to do so so in the case of um let's say with the guy you were talking to who you actually 0.96
01:19:11.320 went and talked directly to him it's easy to just talk a bunch of shit on the internet it takes it's
01:19:17.660 a little bit more challenging to go straight to somebody and say hey this is what's going on this 0.96
01:19:21.420 is what you're doing wrong you can almost kind of measure um the right thing to do by what like
01:19:26.860 your flesh doesn't want to do exactly yeah your flesh is always going to seek comfort yeah we
01:19:32.340 talk about this when in during the course when we talk about you know the four voices that you're
01:19:36.100 always hearing you know the world the flesh the devil and god all four always communicating with
01:19:41.060 and we we identify we help people identify which one is speaking whether is it god is it the devil
01:19:45.620 the flesh is always about your comfort always about making you feel good and that feeling good
01:19:50.740 is like i got back at that person i you know i got him but then when i talked about the debates
01:19:54.980 okay yeah i won this debate my flesh was happy but my spirit was like that wasn't what god wanted
01:19:59.860 from you so yeah it's but it it it is really tough all right so i think we have if we i can squeeze
01:20:07.540 one more thing in if you if you guys yeah yeah let's go for it actually this will be a precursor
01:20:11.700 i'll talk a little bit about this i want to get into this more um i'll be getting into it more
01:20:15.780 in the class but this is probably going to be one of my final lessons in the offensive spiritual
01:20:20.740 warfare of course might be next week's lesson or the week after and this is like finding your
01:20:26.660 spiritual superpower your your seek your your particular weapon because one of the things we
01:20:31.380 emphasize in the course is that everything is about your uniqueness you are you are attacked
01:20:36.660 uniquely based on, you know, the things that trigger you that don't trigger anyone else.
01:20:40.420 We talked about that a lot when we were in studio about, you know, my triggers versus
01:20:44.320 my wife's versus John's or whatever, but your weapon is also unique to you.
01:20:49.660 And every one of us has our superpower, our weapon that makes us dangerous to the enemy.
01:20:55.740 And how do you find that?
01:20:57.880 Well, here's another thing that's counterintuitive.
01:20:59.600 The best way to find your superpower, your secret weapon, your most effective weapon
01:21:05.100 is to rely on the enemy because they are going to they're going to attack you in that area where
01:21:13.320 you're the strongest they don't attack you where you're weak they're going to attack you in your
01:21:16.460 strength because they know that this is what this person can use against me so i'm going to wound
01:21:22.000 them here it's something called that call it's called the wound i don't know if you ever if you
01:21:25.620 heard the book it was out i thought well maybe 20 plus years ago called um wild at heart by a man
01:21:31.080 by an author named john eldridge it's really a book about um you know becoming growing in manhood
01:21:37.160 in in the christian point of view and how the things that that you know men go through and
01:21:40.680 he talks about the wound he says every man has been wounded and that wound is is uh is a place
01:21:47.800 where we need to heal from in order to actually be who we are we try to we cover up the wound we try
01:21:53.160 to you know put on a different mask to pretend it didn't happen but that wound that happened if you
01:21:58.680 you don't address it then you are always going to be suffering from it but i think there's an
01:22:03.440 expansion to that what's it called i'm sorry i just wanted to let's just call wild at heart
01:22:08.100 by uh john eldridge is the name that's so funny there's actually a second wild at heart and you
01:22:12.560 know who's starring in it it's a movie it's a nicholas and who william defoe i'm watching that
01:22:17.740 how weird is that because we were just talking about william defoe and nicholas cage yesterday
01:22:21.240 yeah they're in this movie that's very funny um okay don't detract from that i mean because now
01:22:25.880 now my brain's old i know i just thought i had to say i'm sorry sorry i'm just touching on it on
01:22:30.040 this we'll talk about it more um at another another episode but i want people to understand
01:22:35.240 this that when they wherever you're wounded that's your strength that's what the enemy is afraid of
01:22:40.920 and i gave you example in in my life when i think my strength is doing what i do now is you know is
01:22:47.320 teaching and being in front of people so what was my wound i was wounded early on with rejection
01:22:52.280 i was wounded being told you know you're not you're not worth it nobody wants to hear anything
01:22:57.440 you have to say that was specifically to me because my superpower my best weapon against
01:23:03.420 the enemy is doing what i do now speaking out boldly and you can't do this if you if you're
01:23:09.820 afraid that you're going to be rejected then you can't do this that was what that's what i was
01:23:13.740 going through even when i started faith by reason you know i just started blogging pretty anonymous
01:23:17.740 nobody could hold me to account accountability i don't even put my real name out there i just
01:23:21.600 i think i used my initials at first and then when i started doing videos it was all images and and
01:23:26.960 you know in clips i didn't start actually putting my face out there because every time i i thought
01:23:32.000 about doing that that that voice would come to me saying you don't want people to see you you don't
01:23:36.400 want them to know who you really are what if somebody on your job finds out what if they would
01:23:40.560 this because they were they were kept trying to expose that wound and say you'll be rejected
01:23:45.040 nobody will like you they'll think you're some crazy religious nut and all these different things
01:23:49.520 And that's that's where that was the initial wound. They keep wounding you in that same spot because that is the most dangerous part of you. 0.82
01:23:57.820 Not your weaknesses, your strengths. So I say that to tell people when you think about what triggers you thinking, think about where you have been wounded the worst.
01:24:06.900 That is probably your strength. That's probably the area where you're the most dangerous to the enemy because the enemy fears you.
01:24:15.520 you are a threat. And if you can figure that out, and we will help you do that in the course,
01:24:20.800 if you can figure that out, then you know where your strength is, and you'll know how to overcome
01:24:24.300 it. But here is the really brutal part. Your body is always giving you signals.

01:24:57.880 god is ready to use you he is going to do something that's going to seem cruel he's going to wound you
01:25:03.300 again in that same spot not because of cruelty but because he wants to bring it to your attention
01:25:09.440 so that's why a great example of this is job so we know the story of job the hostile town the
01:25:17.580 satan you know god says yeah what are you doing what he's saying i've been walking up and down
01:25:20.620 the earth have you considered my servant job and you know he made his case against job and
01:25:25.280 job job was hyper-religious it said that job would sacrifice every day then he would sacrifice on
01:25:30.440 behalf of his children just in case they did a sin that he that they didn't know about so he was
01:25:35.100 very hyper-religious but job was afraid of confronting god because what was the end when
01:25:43.500 god finally confronts him and and gives me this the science quiz in the last couple chapters of
01:25:47.900 job what's job's response he said from now on i will speak and i will expect an answer from you
01:25:52.860 god had god wanted a better relationship with job job's superpower was his ability to reason
01:25:58.780 and and rationalize and and and talk to people he did that for most of the book of job is him
01:26:03.900 conversing with his friends his so-called friends about what was happening to him he did that with
01:26:07.660 him and he didn't do it with god so god had to wound him in that place again in his in his
01:26:12.620 his religious piety he said oh i'm i'm never going to confront god because god's so holy i don't want
01:26:16.780 to have a conversation with him no job's superpower was being able to understand god and to communicate
01:26:23.500 to and with god but he wouldn't do it he communicated with his friends about what
01:26:26.780 happened but he never talked to god and his conclusion was from now on i'm going to talk to
01:26:31.180 you so but god had to wound him there to bring it to his attention so when god's ready to use you
01:26:38.300 what he's going to do he is going to wound you in that exact same spot and it's going to seem cruel
01:26:42.300 and you're going to be wondering why god why are you doing this because it's something that you
01:26:46.220 have covered up you put so many layers you know that's you know when you get hurt when you cut
01:26:50.140 yourself what happens the scab forms on it and that scab is supposed to be there to heal then
01:26:53.580 you then the scab is supposed to fall off but some of us because of that wound we've kept the scabs
01:26:57.340 on there and they've layered up so high that we may not even acknowledge what that wound was but
01:27:02.840 once you acknowledge it and god might have to rip the scab off not because he's being cruel but
01:27:07.080 because he wants you to acknowledge your wounds you can heal from it and you can walk in the
01:27:11.300 strength of it so that's something we're gonna we'll cover some cover this more but i want to
01:27:16.840 just kind of plant that seed as we're going through it in the course because it's this is
01:27:20.360 what's going to make you dangerous i'm thinking about what that is for me and i i mean i i can
01:27:25.820 think of some things but i i also don't think that it's just one thing i think you come in and out of
01:27:31.840 that and you continue to grow and yeah and uh discover more more things about i know like when
01:27:37.700 i was very young one of the things that i wouldn't do i wouldn't speak up at all i would be i would
01:27:42.120 be very passive i didn't want to like make any waves at all and now i kind of like look at myself
01:27:47.400 now and i'm like ah you're kind of it's not a problem anymore abrasive uh just right out on 0.99
01:27:52.200 its face people don't like it but it's like yeah yeah almost though the opposite fuck you man 0.95
01:27:57.460 almost the opposite of what i was before um and that was like that's like a gift that was always 0.92
01:28:05.080 sitting there and it's like a latent ability but it's it's something that was attacked constantly 0.99
01:28:10.100 yeah you know don't don't speak up don't say anything you're gonna look like an idiot and 0.97
01:28:15.120 it's like well i don't know it turns out like my career now is speaking up like so i was supposed 0.99
01:28:20.160 to be working that muscle but i was told for most of my life to restrict and constrict it and then
01:28:26.160 when i broke out of it then you see stuff flourish but yeah then there's there are more things that
01:28:31.120 start to come out and and you do realize that attack like there's a concerted attack in this
01:28:36.000 area of my life why it's like because there's something there there's a there's a breakthrough
01:28:41.280 you know a lot of times our parents are the ones that give us that wound
01:28:45.680 not intentionally obviously but but they'll the enemy enemy will use it because sometimes our
01:28:51.980 parents see the places where we're usually where you're strong is where you're going to be the most
01:28:56.980 assertive and your parent will say don't do that you're you're being you're being a little too
01:29:01.740 little too my mother say you're being a little too fresh you know when you're doing this sort
01:29:05.080 of thing and i would and i would speak out and i don't know if i told you guys this story before
01:29:10.160 i may have but when i was um when i was in church as a kid you know i was love the bible love reading
01:29:15.260 it and um it was that it was my grandmother chastised me in front of the church because
01:29:19.260 one time our our pastor of our church he misquoted a verse during like a devotion where we're all
01:29:24.540 basically standing around the altar and he's um he's doing a devotional whatever and he misquoted
01:29:28.460 a verse and i said you know pastor his name is pastor darby i said hey pastor darby um you got
01:29:32.540 that one wrong it's actually you misquoted this verse he said okay and he did it my grandmother
01:29:37.980 took me aside and she said oh you embarrassed me so much you you you insulted the man of god and
01:29:43.180 like but but i was he was wrong i was trying to help him i was trying to do the right thing but
01:29:48.300 i was told don't do that that was a wound because that's what i do now my and this is something that
01:29:54.220 john is going to help with in in this portion of the course it's something called your personal
01:29:58.060 mission and vision statement it's really really get down to your unique your absolute mission
01:30:02.780 in life my mission statement is i want to show people where they are wrong so that they can be
01:30:08.460 more right that's brutal because no one wants to know they're wrong but that's my gift that is my
01:30:13.660 passion i want to tell you you're wrong here not for pride the opposite i want to make you more
01:30:18.380 righteous and i want to make you more righteous by showing you where you're wrong so that you can be
01:30:22.780 more right nobody wants to hear they're wrong so it takes someone with a lot of ego strength to be
01:30:28.140 able to do that so if you need a lot of ego strength to do your mission then what is the devil 0.99
01:30:32.700 there wasn't satan and the following ones want to do wound me right there you are worthless you are
01:30:38.060 rejected so that's what they did and then my grandmother inadvertently wounded me again and
01:30:42.780 just said you can't speak out you can't tell anyone you're wrong she told me the exact opposite
01:30:47.900 of my strength so our parents tend to do that and so i say that for those of us who are parents
01:30:54.060 we got to be careful i think about it all the time when i'm i have to look at my kid's strength
01:30:59.660 and like i i'll just reveal this my oldest son we just he's he's becoming he's growing into a
01:31:06.040 teenager we just found out that he's kind of he's on the cusp of the spectrum he's not autistic but
01:31:10.180 he he has he's a little socially awkward we always figured he was just you know just had some social
01:31:14.040 issues but it turned out we just had him tested just to make sure and he says yeah he's high
01:31:17.380 functioning very bright kid but you know he's he's on the very edge of the spectrum so i had to look
01:31:23.620 back at all the times where i may have chastised him or said something inadvertently cruel to him
01:31:29.120 because i didn't realize that you know he has some of these social issues and some issues with
01:31:34.140 texture my kid he he wears his socks inside out because you know there's certain textures that 0.99
01:31:40.040 they don't like yeah yeah and i would say dude why are you being a tard turn your shot sucks 0.97
01:31:44.760 and you know i would do it the right way that's not right that wasn't you know so and you know 0.95
01:31:51.360 he's he's quirky but i don't want to damage him in his quirks because those quirks are probably
01:31:56.260 his strengths and it's just something we need to be mindful of with our children we're like chris
01:32:02.900 rock said you're gonna you're gonna f up your kids just make sure that you're there to apologize and
01:32:08.800 to um just always lift them up because the the satan will use us to be the administrators of
01:32:16.220 those wounds just look at your kids strength and make sure that you're promoting that with my kids
01:32:22.000 and also with me as well like as you were talking about your experience with the pastor there there's
01:32:27.660 a thing about your gift that you have you have it but as a child you just use it sometimes so like
01:32:34.120 my daughter i can think of a great like i'm like you need to watch your mouth because she's she
01:32:39.240 will argue with you and not like twist your words but argue and then all of a sudden i'm on the i'm
01:32:44.680 on the wrong i'm on the wrong side and i was like wait a second how'd you do that you're eight years
01:32:48.180 old and it's like so she's effectively argued or lawyered me into a thing and i go i tell don't do 0.95
01:32:54.620 that don't do that shit but then i'm like no this is a muscle that she's using and she's working 0.96
01:32:59.860 that out and she's good at it yeah she's going to be very good at it whatever she does in the 0.97
01:33:03.540 future with it but the problem is i have to teach her when to use this thing like if my my gift if
01:33:10.720 it's sarcasm and cutting through verbally with the knife and expressing myself i can't do that all
01:33:15.460 the time and it depends on my mission so i got that tool but if i just have like a broadsword
01:33:20.440 and i'm swinging it right it's just it this is havoc you know i got to use that thing like an
01:33:26.720 expert and and target what i'm doing and be smart with it but that comes with time that comes with
01:33:31.480 that comes with using that over and over and you use it irresponsibly like sometimes you might just
01:33:36.380 be like hey pastor that's the wrong but maybe the the correct thing to do later on is be like
01:33:40.560 that that uh scripture was actually this yeah so take it aside yeah but yeah take it aside and set
01:33:47.100 that right here's the thing that you're going to learn that john's going to teach in the course
01:33:50.940 there's three areas that we call in in your life that's called um your your sidekick your your um
01:33:58.260 your your your your sidekick your alter ego and your superhero so your alter ego that's who you
01:34:05.440 are most of the time that's your clark kent then there's your sidekick that's who you bring in or
01:34:11.120 i think batman's a better one so you're bruce wayne that's what is most of the time then you
01:34:15.600 have a sidekick when you can't handle it you're like you know what i i need i need to bring in
01:34:19.360 someone else to i think i need to behave differently yes exactly yeah i need to behave a little
01:34:24.880 differently around certain people in order to get along then there's your superhero that's who the
01:34:29.920 person you are rarely but that's when you are cutting to the quick and doing the damage of
01:34:34.080 swinging the sword that's my superhero say again that's top lops i try to explain that you did it
01:34:40.480 way better and it is a persona that's put on and then people meet me in real life and they go you're
01:34:45.280 a lot nicer than i thought you'd be it's like yes this is a tool i don't have to kill you i don't
01:34:49.200 have to kill you with words verbally or whatever it is it's like but yeah these are tools that i
01:34:53.000 have to put up front to do a certain task and it doesn't always look good batman breaks a bunch 0.92
01:34:57.920 people's legs and stuff but it's needed it's necessary i guess yeah it is no like like me i
01:35:03.600 can't go around telling people they're wrong all the time but when it's needed i put on my cape
01:35:07.760 and i was like you know what this is wrong i need to make you righteous and then you do it for a
01:35:10.480 short time then you go back to your alter ego my alter ego is my is a teacher i'm just teaching
01:35:15.760 that's what i love to do i can teach you and it's you know it's good it's i'm being effective but
01:35:19.440 i'm not being my superhero i'm just being my the alter ego and then when i get into a situation
01:35:23.920 where i'm just being drained that's when i'm that's when i'm super nice i'm like okay yeah
01:35:28.080 that's how but you you use your sidekick in situations where you just need to get along
01:35:33.200 in order to you know to make things work right but most of the time you should be your alter ego
01:35:36.960 to be the person who who you are gives you it gives you energy but you are and you're doing
01:35:43.840 what you love you should do that most of the time then when it's needed you put on the cape and for
01:35:48.000 a short period of time you but the superhero is harsh batman is harsh you know superman he's
01:35:53.120 flying around he's you know he's using laser eye beams but then he stopped and most of the time
01:35:57.500 he's Clark Kent do you think that there's anything like inherently manipulative about that because
01:36:02.680 it's a technique that I guess I have used I've I've said it for like I've thought about that
01:36:07.260 for a while but it just feel it does feel weird like putting on certain masks but we do that like
01:36:12.320 with my kids it's a I'm not I'm not even Daniel when I'm dealing with my kids I'm dad you know
01:36:17.600 it's like these are different people in a sense and I'm kind of like well what the then who are
01:36:22.380 you really you know what i mean that's yeah the person go ahead i'm sorry i was gonna say if you
01:36:27.660 put on that alter ego around them i mean part of your job as a parent is almost like mitigating
01:36:32.700 energy and such you know what i mean like mitigating the flow of of the day and the
01:36:37.100 energy that they should have if you're on all the time then you're around kids who are like on and
01:36:41.740 dialed up all the time and and you know it's also like you're slowing down the pace to communicate
01:36:46.780 with children you want to make sure they understand you so i don't think it's really applicable
01:36:50.540 around around them i don't think there's anything wrong with that and that alter ego thing uh or
01:36:55.500 rather the sidekick like yeah i've worked corporate jobs and before where like the sidekick is in
01:37:01.100 because i got to go along to get along and make sure that i use the correct language so that this
01:37:05.260 hr doesn't freak out and like you know all kinds of stuff like that so like yeah i could totally
01:37:10.060 see that right but like you know with the batman scenario robin was a sidekick he was the one with
01:37:14.460 batman's like i can't deal with the public you go out there and you be the you know you're dressed 0.93
01:37:17.900 like a little homo you did all that stuff but most of the time he's bruce bruce wayne but so 0.99
01:37:24.540 most of the time i'm the teacher but i can't do this you know when i'm glad a parent teacher 0.99
01:37:27.900 conference i can't go out there just teaching people i just gotta hey how's it going hey
01:37:31.660 how the 49ers doing and blah blah blah yeah yeah but you should spend very little time in your
01:37:35.740 sidekick and very little time in your superhero most of the time you should be your alter ego
01:37:40.460 because that's who you are that's your true self okay that is who you are all the time that gives
01:37:46.300 you energy the superhero is when you are needed you do this thing for a short period of time the
01:37:51.580 sidekick is when you just you can't deal with these people and you're trying to stay out of jail
01:37:55.900 then that's when you go into your sidekick you tag him in but most of the time you should be
01:38:00.300 your alter ego you should be clark ken you should be bruce wayne should be peter parker that's who
01:38:03.820 you you're who you are most of the time that's your real you and then it's time to go in action
01:38:07.900 you put the costume on it's interesting that you you bring that point up because with the new
01:38:11.900 spider-man movie i don't know if you were thinking about probably you would think something different
01:38:15.580 but uh most of it if you notice is uh peter parker as his superhero right probably he was
01:38:22.440 yeah yeah 90 with the mask exactly but you see he starts to turn into it's like the human spider
01:38:28.520 he's losing himself yeah that's a great example that i was gonna say because you actually find
01:38:33.800 that both of them are draining the sidekick is draining and the superhero is much more draining
01:38:39.100 so like you know if i have to be on like bro grove i'm on the stage and i'm on right by the
01:38:44.980 end of it, I'm dead. I'm dead. And if I have to be that other thing that I have to be the sidekick
01:38:51.320 when I'm around the corporate-tocracy and HR, that is also draining and it kills you. And then
01:38:57.780 when you're done, you feel like if there's two meters and you just depleted this one for the
01:39:02.700 sidekick kind of a deal. Yeah. I mean, I can see how it messes with you. You can't be in
01:39:06.840 one of those for too long. I can do this all day. I can talk and teach all day. And not only would
01:39:12.360 i not lose energy i will gain energy i'll have more energy by the time you sign off i'll have
01:39:16.480 a lot of energy i'll maybe go out and do a walk but when you when i'm like telling people where
01:39:21.880 they're wrong and showing them where that's draining and the sidekick is again like you
01:39:25.760 said raven it's draining because like like when i'm working your corporate job it's like oh at
01:39:30.180 the end of the day it's crushing it is it is it is soul crushing yeah so what do you think about
01:39:35.020 that i mean that's a kind of a esoteric question then did you see the spider-man movie um i i yeah
01:39:41.900 i did i did see it yeah okay so i was with my kids so i was i was kind of half sleep during not
01:39:47.140 because of them but because of um it was we went to an early morning show and i i think i and i
01:39:51.860 doing some other stuff the night before well yeah so i did i i saw it and i think i remember like
01:39:56.960 80 of it the the premise at the end uh and spoiler alert if you haven't seen it it's like
01:40:02.100 i think the last question they go so what are you going to do you're going to be spider-man or
01:40:06.480 you're going to be peter parker which one and he says both and then he internalizes and he creates 0.99
01:40:11.220 both and he and he transforms into something different and he kicks the shit out of everybody 0.85
01:40:15.580 which is very cool dope yeah but that might actually be the inversion because that is a
01:40:19.760 that seems like a very i've been thinking about that it's like that's a dangerous thing
01:40:23.780 you've now taken that that one side that probably should be separate and you've merged it with these
01:40:30.780 two and then obviously hollywood's going to tell you that yes this is the greatest transformation
01:40:34.240 yeah i mean think about that what would it be like to get to a place and i think you and i
01:40:38.020 are experiencing this we're getting to this place where like i haven't had to be the sidekick
01:40:41.700 the sidekick is minimal now i rarely have ever that dude that has to go along to get along i
01:40:47.300 think that's why it's so disorienting when matt goes hey that's top lobster he's famous and i'm
01:40:51.100 like christmas i saw the lady on the vespa today i'm like i wonder if she remembers how much she
01:40:55.440 hates me uh so so you know i'm rarely ever that sidekick and i spend now my working life is i get
01:41:02.420 to be on right so like i'm either uh my alter ego or or for certain moments of the show i get to
01:41:08.700 turn it on which like you know that therefore it's happening more at superhero thing more often
01:41:13.880 than it used to what happens when you get to a place where like sidekick is like non-existent
01:41:18.560 and then you're doing this 50 50 where i'm like alter ego or this superhero stage like these are
01:41:23.920 happening 50 50 is that completely unhealthy it's unhealthy yeah it is and so going back to yeah it
01:41:29.020 is you have to balance it out you you again you need to be mostly your your um your your your
01:41:34.060 alter ego they speaking of the superhero thing you were talking about yeah he's going to be 50 50
01:41:39.020 spider-man peter parker there was um i don't know if it's gary wayne's been talking about this but
01:41:42.860 there i forget who it was anyway they were talking about how a lot of these marvel movies
01:41:47.180 are not overly satanic but they're pushing that certain agenda of transhumanism yeah because you
01:41:53.100 know all these are so i think that may be part of it like telling inversion i think is the word you
01:41:57.820 used before top is they're they're they're inverting the proper way to do these things which
01:42:02.700 is mostly alter ego um a little bit of psychic when necessary but then superhero when needed
01:42:09.740 but you cannot be superhero all the time did you guys ever see the tv show mr robot oh uh yeah but
01:42:17.980 i couldn't watch him because he was so like he was portraying high level autism and to the extent
01:42:22.700 where like the social his display of social quirks uh was so off-putting to me that i i couldn't
01:42:29.100 watch it at all i was like yeah you're not socially it was a tough watch it was it was
01:42:34.300 fascinating show but it was tough to watch until at the end of the event john leonard and we're
01:42:38.300 watching it like you know together like simultaneously and i was like you know john
01:42:41.740 this is i like the show i like the writing i think it's really fascinating but something
01:42:45.260 about it makes me uncomfortable he says yeah the reason why is that the main character elliot he
01:42:49.580 because he has been personality he was in his he was in his superhero all the time the hacker was
01:42:57.320 his superhero the real Elliot was actually like in like he was suppressed and we didn't see him to
01:43:04.220 like the very last episode of the spoiler alert the very last episode of mr. robot is when the
01:43:08.960 real him actually comes back and he and and his superhero shrinks back into his mind and he starts
01:43:15.560 becoming himself and so that's why he was so nuts because he was a superhero
01:43:18.800 all the time he was on drugs he was using drugs he had like memory lapses
01:43:23.940 his mind was deteriorating because you're not meant to be in superhero mode
01:43:27.920 all the time but he also had no he had some essay when he was when he was a
01:43:33.020 kid he was associating and letting the altar come forward right yes so I think
01:43:38.560 that happens with some alters their superhero comes out and to protect them
01:43:42.980 him and so his superhero and mr robot took over and he was just a mess that's interesting it makes
01:43:49.140 me think about people in the public sphere we we'll wrap it up now i don't want to wrap it up
01:43:54.160 this idea uh really got really got me going but i don't know like alex jones or something like
01:43:58.700 that like how oh alex jones is permanently in his super right yeah like that dude's on i see him in
01:44:03.500 his in his kid and now they seem like you know he seems like good people his son uh rex seems like
01:44:07.880 good person but i'm just like how often is alex jones alex jones like when he's eating dinner is
01:44:13.640 he alex jones when he's raising his kid that must be exhausting i have heard that when you hang out
01:44:18.800 with him he's just like that yeah but so now you've given yourself over 100 to now where does
01:44:24.480 the character begin and it's a character for lack of better words and where does where does alex
01:44:29.040 start same thing with daniel top ops where do these things mix and merge and i don't even know
01:44:34.080 if they're putting thought to it i don't know but it's something that i that i will i mean i know
01:44:39.540 like when when there's depends on like the type of show like nefto america is a little bit different
01:44:44.220 that's like full top full rate yeah i don't watch your nefto america because you guys don't watch
01:44:48.180 it it's insane it's an insane show but when i go to do that show like you flick that switch on
01:44:53.780 and like this that's what this show is it's very very fast paced it's very intense it's very insane
01:44:59.080 there's the i joke about the lack of filter between my brain and whatever is there i i turn
01:45:05.500 that off completely when it's time to do that show um but i know that when i'm done i'm tired
01:45:10.280 i feel like dude yeah like that's like if you're on like that all the time that's an early grave
01:45:14.600 or something that's like how dudes get heart attacks you know yeah i think it's because
01:45:18.260 people don't know this and they don't know that those those three areas and people call it
01:45:23.100 different things don't have persona that sort of thing i mean that's why you know john uses you
01:45:26.960 sidekick superhero alter ego because they're just common terms right right this is brand new
01:45:31.920 information it's just this is different terminology for it that we're using in the in the course but
01:45:36.160 it's important to know those things and know that you cannot most people live in their sidekick
01:45:40.320 believe it or not most people are not in their superhero because they don't want to be they don't
01:45:43.520 want to meet needs most people are in their sidekick most of the time especially we talk
01:45:47.440 about the corporate world raven most people yeah are in their sidekick you don't you have no idea
01:45:52.480 to who they are you just know who's home too yeah yeah oh yeah yeah and then they can't turn that
01:45:56.840 off when they're at the house I think I've been thinking about like what my thing is that's hell
01:46:00.820 dude it is it's hard to know for me like what exactly my my thing is um I think it's easy for
01:46:07.560 me to see yours from the outside like you have a way of um very quickly cutting to the core of what
01:46:13.180 a person is about or is doing and it's hard for me to think about what mine is because I'm in the
01:46:19.700 context of the show so i'm like everything's kind of dialed up but i know that when i was younger
01:46:24.320 what was really on display was jack sparrow not jack sparrow it was this refusal to like give
01:46:30.680 into fear which got me so much trouble i got into so many fights i got arrested i got all these
01:46:37.580 stupid things all the time like i was you know i had to go to the scared straight program because 0.66
01:46:42.420 they were trying to scare me into not being this little criminal anymore but it wasn't so much 0.99
01:46:47.280 about the allure of crimes it was this refusal to give in to the the gut and the butterfly that
01:46:54.020 made me not want to do the thing because it was too scary you know so if somebody was like punking
01:46:58.240 me and said you're not going to do shit that was like okay and that switch went off and no matter
01:47:02.960 what that feeling was i would immediately go towards it and i think that obviously that's 0.95
01:47:08.060 very bad for a lot of things but like okay there's there's a lot of situations that may be not
01:47:14.120 appropriate for the the show but there's a lot of times where like every alarm was going hey
01:47:19.140 don't do this anymore this is scary and i'm going i can't not do this now because you're telling me
01:47:24.800 to stop and so i think that that if that is mine that's a real slippery slope you could see exactly
01:47:32.100 how that would go bad um but yeah we can wrap it up with this i think maybe maybe next month or
01:47:37.080 sometime when we're getting into this in the warfare class maybe i'll have john come on because
01:47:40.940 he does he's the one who i'm saying invented but he does a whole part of his flow sets course on
01:47:47.060 helping people identify their sidekicks um uh alter ego and superhero and maybe help you know
01:47:53.940 you guys kind of clarify crystallize what yours are and maybe help the audience as well so maybe 0.97
01:47:58.000 oh mine's is a mine's is a racist retarded person yeah it's the worst superheroes but you know what 0.93
01:48:03.660 it could be worse i saw a lady that just does face dancing she goes well with her face that's 0.97
01:48:08.540 her superpower okay but i actually think that's kind of talented i go like i actually think 1.00
01:48:12.840 there's something i go wow i can't do that you know what i mean she does all the face dancing
01:48:16.700 i can't do the face very unfortunate but that's where you're wounded you're going to be wounded
01:48:20.460 in your superhero because that's where that's when you're most dangerous because that's when
01:48:23.780 you're meeting needs right in my but you'll be but you'll be wounded in your alter ego too but
01:48:27.980 the biggest one is going to be your superhero that's interesting something to really think
01:48:32.100 that yeah man this this episode cooked at the especially toward the end oh before we go yeah
01:48:37.420 two dollars for ian valdez if ed joins the discord bible study would top join no tops too busy doing
01:48:43.900 501c3 uh i play guitar on i i gotta practice on wednesday that's why he's never there and then i
01:48:50.140 gotta put my kids to bed early too they're still young and they're talking back to me the entire
01:48:54.300 time i would like to but they won't record like go to bed they're like no like go to bed let me
01:48:58.460 tell you 15 reasons why not and then she goes yes and then you go no and then she it all said he
01:49:02.620 gets flipped when you were describing your daughter felt like a bugs buddy skit it's kind
01:49:06.060 kind of like that season duck season yeah exactly exactly um all right all right well it's actually
01:49:15.080 the community bible study i can send you uh the discord link so every wednesday it's independent
01:49:20.960 of us the community just gets together and does a bible study and we'll do a straight bible too
01:49:25.680 oh yeah that's that's different that needs to happen absolutely yeah yeah um but yeah they
01:49:30.120 just get together on wednesdays do a bible study and then from wednesday night till friday morning
01:49:34.340 they do fasting and prayer and it's actually really fantastic yeah um so before we get out
