ago. And so it's a battle every day to make sure that I keep my body engaged, that I continue to

build muscle, that I, uh, build the stamina and the strength required to not only perform my daily

actually go above and beyond the call of duty. And I can feel good about how I show up physically.

It's a battle against the doctrine of popular culture that says that masculinity is somehow

inherently, uh, destructive or damaging, or maybe even toxic. Uh, it's a dismissal certainly of

masculinity and it's a battle to make ourselves and equip ourselves with the tools and information

we need to perform our duties as protectors, providers, and presiders. And if we look at our
