00:02:22.180 to have to be in a physical battle or confrontation. There are many factors of our lives that I believe
00:02:28.480 if we as men look at like a battle, we will equip ourselves more fully, more adequately to be able
00:02:34.680 to handle all that life is going to throw at us. This is a battle against our natural selves,
00:02:39.640 our propensity and desire to be weak and soft and cowardly and lazy and want the results without
00:02:49.160 the effort. It's what I call the natural man. You got to battle against him every day. It's a battle
00:02:54.100 for your relationships, specifically with your wife. Not that you're battling against her, but that
00:03:00.120 you're battling with her. You're battling towards a common objective, which is to remain intimate,
00:03:06.720 remain engaged to lead well, to help and help her lead well in her part of the marriage.
00:03:14.080 It's a battle for your children. We know the doctrine of popular culture is trying to lead
00:03:20.800 our children astray and it's our job to make sure we equip them with the information they need to
00:03:26.760 thrive. It's a battle against your body. I mean, as I get older, I'm 39. I'm not old by any means,
00:03:32.700 but as I get older, I realize I'm a little stiffer in the morning. Uh, it takes me a little longer to,
00:03:38.140 you know, loosen up the old joints. Um, I tend to get injured quicker than I used to maybe 20 years
00:03:44.140 ago. And so it's a battle every day to make sure that I keep my body engaged, that I continue to
00:03:49.460 build muscle, that I, uh, build the stamina and the strength required to not only perform my daily
00:03:55.340 duties as a podcaster and the leader of order of man and a father and a husband, but that I can
00:04:02.100 actually go above and beyond the call of duty. And I can feel good about how I show up physically.
00:04:08.700 It's a battle against the doctrine of popular culture that says that masculinity is somehow
00:04:14.920 inherently, uh, destructive or damaging, or maybe even toxic. Uh, it's a dismissal certainly of
00:04:22.600 masculinity and it's a battle to make ourselves and equip ourselves with the tools and information
00:04:29.440 we need to perform our duties as protectors, providers, and presiders. And if we look at our
00:04:36.240 lives from a battle perspective, then we give ourselves a fighting chance because we realize
00:04:44.980 the stakes and what the stakes are. And they're serious. For those of you who have not experienced
00:04:51.120 the results that you want in your life, whether it's your finances or your career or your health
00:04:56.020 or the relationships that you have, you understand how important these stakes are. And if we approach
00:05:04.760 it with a level of seriousness, then we will have more success. So as you go through this
00:05:09.860 30 days to battle ready course, like I said earlier, you're going to get a, uh, a series of
00:05:14.500 17 to 20 emails throughout the 30 day period. And we're going to break it down into four
00:05:19.880 different phases. So the first phase is your vision phase. So many men focus on their goals,
00:05:29.720 what exactly they want to accomplish, but they never really tie it back into their vision. Why is
00:05:37.240 that thing important? The vision is the why the vision is the why you've got to have a strong why
00:05:44.200 because when push comes to shove and you're tempted and distracted and maybe even feeling
00:05:50.460 down because you're not experiencing the results that you would like, it's the why that's going to
00:05:54.560 keep you motivated and inspired towards working towards the what. So we've got the why, which is the
00:06:01.040 vision. Then we've got the what, which is the second phase. Now you're going to begin to identify
00:06:05.900 objectives and we're going to help you get crystal clear, not only on the vision that you have for the
00:06:10.440 ideal version of yourself, but we're going to help you get very, very specific, very specific
00:06:18.180 on the objectives that you have over a 90 day timeframe. We plan this thing out in 90 days,
00:06:24.240 not one year, not five years, not 30 days. We want you to accomplish more in the next 90 days than
00:06:30.440 potentially you have in your entire life. So the second phase is identifying those objectives
00:06:35.420 and talking about what characteristics these objectives need to have to ensure that you will
00:06:42.440 move towards those things. A lot of guys will use cryptic language and loose terms and give
00:06:48.420 themselves some wiggle room so that if they fall short, they don't feel as bad about themselves or
00:06:52.440 their performance, but we're going to hold you to a higher standard in this course, 30 days to battle
00:06:56.500 ready. The third phase is your tactics. So we've got the vision, which is the why we've got the
00:07:04.160 objectives, which is the what, and then we've got the tactics, which is the how. You know why you want
00:07:10.020 to do it. You know what it is you want to do. Now, how in the world are you going to do it? And this is
00:07:14.700 where most planning falls short. Most people know to some degree, maybe not as articulate as they
00:07:20.760 should, but to some degree they know what they want, but very rarely do they take the next step,
00:07:27.640 which is how exactly are you going to get that thing? If you want to make a hundred thousand dollars
00:07:32.980 this year or a million dollars this year, how exactly are you going to do that? If you want to
00:07:37.720 lose 20 pounds in the next 90 days, how exactly are you going to do that? What programming are you
00:07:42.460 going to use? What foods are you going to consume? What diet are you going to use? What coach are you
00:07:48.080 going to hire? This is the kind of clarity that you need in order to accomplish the things that you
00:07:55.560 want to accomplish. And most men don't do it. And even if they know they should do it, they don't know
00:07:59.840 how to do it. And that's what the 30 days to battle ready course is all about. We're going
00:08:04.580 to teach you in a series of emails, how to come up with a compelling vision, how to identify specific
00:08:11.400 actionable objectives and identify the tactics that are going to get you to accomplish your
00:08:21.680 objectives, which will move you closer to the vision that you have for yourself and your family
00:08:26.260 and every other facet of life. Now, the fourth phase is, I was going to say it's the most important.
00:08:32.500 I don't know that it's the most important. It's equally important to the others. And that phase
00:08:38.060 is tracking and accountability. If you're not tracking your activity, if you're not documenting
00:08:44.760 what you're doing or what you're not doing, winning is something that's going to happen by chance.
00:08:52.380 And even if it does, let's say you, you happen to succeed, but you didn't document how you did it.
00:08:58.020 You just kind of lucked out. Well, that's a problem because now you can't replicate the results.
00:09:03.560 What we're trying to create and show you to do is to create a system that is replicatable.
00:09:12.320 You can do this every 90 days. So once you learn this system and this strategy,
00:09:17.380 you will be able to do it every 90 days. So it's not just about the next 90 days. It's about the next
00:09:23.120 10 years, 20 years. And we're going to compound 90, 90, 90, 90, 90. And we're going to build in
00:09:30.360 levels and layers to this thing. So when you get so good at the first 90 day battle plan,
00:09:36.160 the next 90 day battle plan that you're going to do is going to be better than the first,
00:09:42.120 more sophisticated, create better results, more amplified. But once you know the system,
00:09:49.480 it's just a matter of plugging in what you need to plug in and then executing and operating what it
00:09:54.900 is you need to operate and how you need to work the strategy. All right. So it's a very simple
00:09:59.840 process. It's not easy, but I don't want you to overlook. It's, it's power simply because it is
00:10:08.440 not complex. It is simple, but we've all heard the adage that simplicity is the ultimate
00:10:15.080 sophistication. We're going to teach you a very simple system over a period of 30 days in four
00:10:21.560 separate and distinct phases. We've got worksheets that are going to be made available to you through
00:10:26.180 the emails that you can go in and you can plan and you can take this next 30 days and gear up for
00:10:32.620 the next quarter of your life. So it's my hope that you take this information and you apply it,
00:10:41.020 that you make it available to the people in your lives, that you share it with other people
00:10:47.460 and that it transforms how you show up as a husband, a father, a business owner, a community
