In this episode of Thick & Thin I sit down with my good friend and fellow conservative activist, to talk about what it's like being a conservative in Los Angeles, how she got her start in the conservative space, and how she ended up with a MAGA hat.

00:00:00.000 I was working in real estate in Beverly Hills.
00:00:02.460 I lost my job because of the pandemic.
00:00:05.460 And then I was like, I kind of like what these people
00:00:08.380 have to say a lot more than the other people.
00:00:10.020 Because I was just like, I'm not doing the mask.
00:00:11.700 I'm not getting the vaccine.
00:00:12.720 I'm not doing any of this.
00:00:14.160 And I just started listening to people at the time
00:00:16.200 like Ben Shapiro, Candace Owens, those were the big names.
00:00:18.780 And I was like, OK, I like what they have to say more.
00:00:21.060 I voted for the first time in my life.
00:00:22.500 I voted for Trump.
00:00:23.620 And after I did that, I put on a MAGA hat,
00:00:25.920 started going on rants in my car, and then I
00:00:28.480 became uh the republican of los angeles and then i could never work again out here and oh so did
00:00:33.840 you that was that really a problem for you you couldn't work anymore yeah the the first thing
00:00:38.260 jobs do is they look at your social media oh wow they see a white blonde girl with a maga hat on 0.99
00:00:43.220 no you couldn't even say you were there weren't like conservative companies that wanted to you
00:00:49.160 know because i did like a bit for a while where i was looking for a job because i got demonetized
00:00:53.540 i wasn't actually but i had like conservative like sales roles like reach out to there wasn't
00:00:58.980 stuff like that at the time like no because isn't orange county really conservative yeah but i was

00:01:09.960 applied for thousands of jobs that i was overqualified for no one had the balls to be
00:01:13.780 like hey i can't hire you because you're social media i mean i had to work at a clothing store 0.77
00:01:17.680 and then i'd be a hostess don't conservative people buy houses like aren't a lot of the 1.00
00:01:22.780 wealthy people in LA conservative.
