00:00:00.000 All right. What's up, guys? Welcome to my coffee talks. I'm debate prepping right now. I'm doing a debate in Vegas in like two weeks. And you know what? I'll actually sell tickets if you guys want to come behind the scenes. Fill out the Google form in the description and maybe we could like we could work something out.
00:00:20.360 Okay. But what am I doing? Okay. So I was thinking about how society is getting rid of people's
00:00:32.200 personalities, right? Because the way it's working, the cities are getting bigger and bigger and
00:00:38.300 bigger. And I just moved to a major city from another major city to be fair. But this is the
00:00:44.060 first time in my life where I've been a little bit more integrated in a city. Like every time
00:00:49.160 I've lived in a city before I've always just kind of went home and not really made friends or talk
00:00:54.660 to people and now for example I spend a lot of time in athletic places so I'll go to my gym
00:01:00.160 and I feel it at my gym you naturally start to filter yourself and I'm pretty unfiltered but
00:01:08.460 even me you know I don't know if I'm going to say my ninja at the gym because you know what I mean
00:01:16.420 people might look at you kind of funny or whatever, right? And I've realized in society,
00:01:22.240 the bigger the city, the group, the stage, whatever it is, the more you're going to filter yourself
00:01:27.280 and not be yourself. When you're a kid and you're just in your family's house, you can 100% be
00:01:33.660 yourself. You don't really care if your siblings see you and you're bitchy or weird or whatever.
00:01:39.960 And I think that's why a lot of men get duped, right? Like the whole family knows the woman is 0.87
00:01:44.740 a bitch. But the guy has no idea because, well, you know, she was herself at home and then she 1.00
00:01:51.700 went to the city and you have to be a different person. And the more there's Muslims coming in, 1.00
00:02:00.120 there's Indians coming in, the more it becomes multicultural. I think the more people's
00:02:04.840 personalities are going to kind of disappear because you have to be more cognizant. You know,
00:02:10.480 i might want to make a muhammad joke or i'm not i'm not actually muslims leave me alone you know 0.88
00:02:16.060 but you might want to have an opinion or make a joke about it but if there's muslims there or 0.97
00:02:21.840 that group there you know everyone says they're super you know they'll just say what they want 0.89
00:02:28.320 to say regardless but i think most people you're going to say at what cost like you go to work 0.97
00:02:33.380 and there's all these pajits at work are you really going to make fun fun of pajits smelling
00:02:37.980 you might but it's going to be a little more difficult and there's a bigger cost every time
00:02:42.740 and so this this made me think further how now high schools are getting bigger colleges are
00:02:50.900 getting bigger everything's getting bigger and I think it kind of robs people of the opportunity
00:02:56.960 to sort of be themselves so I went to a really small college right and my college we did
00:03:04.440 I don't know this drink week at it so senior year there's like a week where we don't have class
00:03:11.220 anymore everyone like and it's just the seniors on campus waiting to graduate and I remember I
00:03:16.180 got to write the seniors scavenger hunt um to make points for the scavenger hunt and it was like a
00:03:23.300 beer mile you have to get a shot with a teacher like all this do flip cup in the library like all
00:03:28.680 this really fun stuff. Um, but at a, at a big school, I probably wouldn't, and it's funny to
00:03:34.560 call that an opportunity, but you know, I wouldn't have gotten to impact the entire senior class in
00:03:39.520 that way. Um, again, I'm not, not saying that's the best example or, you know, being at a small
00:03:47.320 school, I got to have freshmen of the year, all conference. And I think men in general, um, because
00:03:53.620 all the opportunities, at least at a young age are given to women, they're not really given the 0.78
00:03:58.660 opportunity to be themselves or to develop their personality right because okay if a young man
00:04:06.740 um goes and i don't know tries out for theater right and most of the plays or the roles are
00:04:14.260 given to women instead of men or i don't know there's going to be better examples so put them
00:04:18.260 in the comments but the the young man isn't going to develop in the way that he would have right
00:04:24.100 like that man um you know it would have helped build his confidence he would have been more
00:04:28.460 social he would have made more friends um and he's stunted um and i think with social media
00:04:38.240 it's getting worse um because before you might if you do something crazy or whatever you might
00:04:46.560 mess up your reputation in your town um but it's just rumors and eventually it molds over where
00:04:52.760 And now if you do something embarrassing, it's going to live on forever and ever and ever.
00:05:01.320 I know. Ask me. Ask me how I know.
00:05:05.000 And I was thinking it's very difficult to be yourself when there's a giant stage.
00:05:11.200 And we're and, you know, it's easy to say, oh, just overcome stage fright, even even bigger classrooms.
00:05:17.000 when there's 30 people in a class or 40 people in a class less people are going to talk than if
00:05:24.480 there was 10 or 15 people in a class like you're more likely to ask questions and kind of be
00:05:30.080 inquisitive um and develop your skills as a person um than if you're in a big school so
00:05:41.340 So I think there's pros to big schools, right? And big cities and all of that. But we're kind
00:05:47.260 of getting rid of the training wheels. And the training wheels would be you're a big fish in a
00:05:52.400 small pond. And if you compete well enough, then you move on to the big pond and you compete in
00:05:56.720 the big pond. It's like, if you want to be an actor, I have no idea. I'm not in acting. But
00:06:02.160 wherever the starting place is, okay, I'll give you actually, I'll give you an example more in
00:06:07.120 my wheelhouse. If you want to play overseas, you can market yourself by playing in a league
00:06:13.700 in America or going to England. That's where I went. And I played semi-pro and you can play
00:06:18.720 semi-pro until you're ready to go play professional. And it's a really great
00:06:24.120 stepping stone. But now the bigger the cities and the less they're investing in development
00:06:31.880 and opportunities for young men and getting just giving them to women women are going to be more
00:06:37.580 popular more socialized and have more opportunities and just kind of like developed as a person than
00:06:43.900 the men because they're not given the same opportunities um and the bigger the pond it
00:06:51.200 actually benefits women because they can eliminate more men and share a smaller and smaller pool of 1.00
00:06:57.780 it. So the big cities benefit women. And the big schools benefit women, obviously not after 0.99
00:07:07.180 the pumping and dumping, but we prefer to share men and that's our biological imperative. So 0.68
00:07:13.080 anyways, I don't know if that's making sense, but if it is, please put it in the comments.
00:07:18.860 Some of my best insights are actually from the comment section. So if anybody
00:07:22.960 has an insight or a thought on something they've noticed about this transition please put it in
00:07:29.220 the comment section if you can like the video and fill out the google form we're doing an event
00:07:33.820 september 11th and if we get enough interest i'll start selling you guys backstage um you know one
00:07:41.100 or two people can come with me to a debate and just see how it how you like it with me um but
00:07:47.080 you have to fill out the google form that's going to be in the description like the video subscribe
00:07:51.740 to the channel and um i love you guys and i will see you next time so
