00:00:00.000 three two one what up guys welcome to another episode of pearl daily today it's our favorite
00:00:08.740 day of the week it's std friday oh my god where we go over the stds that are out there right now
00:00:17.200 i know it's an uncomfortable part of dating but we do have to talk about how to avoid stds and
00:00:22.360 what stds are out there because this is a part of dating today if you think that you are too good to
00:00:27.480 get an STD it can really happen to anyone half of the people I interview are married but before we
00:00:33.840 get to today's topic I thought we'd kind of start with a little fun segment so one of the guys that
00:00:40.820 works with with us here his name's Aaron and he's had some dating issues that he wanted to talk
00:00:48.120 about with me and Doug MPA so we're going to bring him on the line and maybe as a class we can go
00:00:54.940 through his problems um i don't know why my if i look here today guys the my mouse like won't
00:01:04.140 charge for some reason so i'm having to put the chat on my phone so bear with me um okay but hi
00:01:10.740 erin welcome to the show uh what's kicking chicken how's it going good so tell me about your problems
00:01:20.080 Tell me what you were telling me before the show.
00:01:22.700 You want to stalk somebody?
00:01:24.820 No, no, no, no, no, no.
00:01:25.620 I didn't say that.
00:01:26.840 I was listing out a hypothetical.
00:01:28.720 Let's just say hypothetically, you suspect that someone you know is dating somebody.
00:01:34.840 And, you know, you want to find out, like, if it's true or if, like, there's something going on, if they're hiding something.
00:01:40.540 Would it be crazy if you knew that person was going to be at a certain bar or restaurant or something to, like, go in disguise to that place to find out what they're up to?
00:01:49.780 because like maybe they're not actually dating somebody maybe you're just paranoid and you go
00:01:53.540 there and you just see them alone and then your conscience is cleared but like what if you i don't
00:01:58.740 know see them with like a woman or a man or something if you're in disguise and you don't
00:02:04.020 just confront them up front you can like hear like their conversation like they're talking about like
00:02:08.420 you know doing it or something then you know yeah they're dating someone or something or you know
00:02:13.220 if they're talking about like their grandparents it's probably just family or friends and you know
00:02:16.420 you're just in your head or something who is this person i i won't say i won't say it's
00:02:23.480 okay okay i'm gonna ask the easy question are you dating this person no uh well there is no
00:02:30.040 one person i'm talking about it's just like a hypothetical just like for anyone like let's say
00:02:34.080 you suspect your friend has a girlfriend and he's not telling you or if like there was a girl you
00:02:37.800 just recently broke up with or something and you suspect she might have been cheating on you and
00:02:41.620 so you know you think there or if you suspect like maybe i don't know maybe your dad is like
00:02:45.460 having an affair or something okay my first question is do you have any hobbies
00:02:50.220 i am a graphic designer by trade i'm also a ventriloquist okay so what would be like what
00:02:57.320 do you think that you have something better to do than stalking well i mean it's not really
00:03:03.140 stalking if you're just trying to get down to the truth you know like what if i what if my buddy i
00:03:07.340 won't say his name but like what if my buddy who does not get a lot of women because he's a bigger
00:03:10.880 guy you know and stuff what if i suspect that like he's dating someone and he's not telling
00:03:15.400 me about it and i want to know about it and i like go down to like this bar and that's where
00:03:21.080 i know he's going to be but why do you need to know if he's dating someone like get down to it
00:03:27.740 or something why you know well because like then whatever excuses he's giving me like these
00:03:33.560 ridiculous other reasons why he has to leave work earlier why just go to his apartment suddenly they
00:03:37.520 all fall through and it's like okay buddy like don't lie to me but here's the thing what because
00:03:43.220 here's the thing if you were approachable for him to tell you about it he'd tell you
00:03:47.780 and second if it's affecting if it's affecting his work performance you don't need to know what
00:03:53.460 he's doing for you to to confront him on him leaving work early or him not be a good friend
00:03:59.280 anymore you can address that without knowing why he's doing it you can say hey man what the heck
00:04:03.460 going you need to confront him directly about that whether you find out he's dating someone
00:04:08.660 or not would you would you finding out he's dating someone excuse his behavior no well but it would
00:04:16.260 also well it doesn't also have to be that you know like his work is you know slacking off maybe he's
00:04:19.780 just like acting odd and i need to know like why he's acting odd or something and by the way the
00:04:23.380 first part is not true like it doesn't make me any less approachable like you can probably tell
00:04:27.300 by the way i'm speaking that i'm autistic and autistic people are approachable so first of all
00:04:31.220 that's the first thing um you know that's I mean I know that's like a little ridiculous to say like
00:04:36.600 I know how I sound but like still like I just want I just want to throw that out there for
00:04:40.240 further context or something right I'd recommend I recommend getting like three hoes yeah because
00:04:47.340 I just think you need somewhere else to put your mind you know like if you had three women bothering
00:04:52.260 you you wouldn't really be too worried about if he was dating someone right well and believe me
00:04:58.640 I would love to have three hoes.
00:04:59.840 You know, you don't need to tell me that or something.
00:05:01.720 I mean, you know, I being, you know, 20 and living on my own, I'm doing my best here.
00:05:06.640 Even though I just recently got, even though I just recently got my own apartment, but
00:05:10.220 I was close to being able to secure two more recently until I got dumped last night.
00:05:14.960 Oh yeah.
00:05:16.040 I was close.
00:05:17.040 Okay.
00:05:17.500 Okay.
00:05:17.820 So tell us, I'm taking your, tell us about the dumping.
00:05:21.260 How'd it go?
00:05:22.200 What happened?
00:05:22.960 So, so I had met this girl on Snapchat, right?
00:05:26.800 um how do you let's call this on snapchat just like you like just you just like start like
00:05:31.760 quick adding people you go to the quick ad tab quick ad quick ad just like randomly add people
00:05:35.740 snapchat is like within all your quick ads are within like location proximity of people that
00:05:40.820 are like close to you around there so you're automatically being matched with like women
00:05:44.500 that are close or something then once you ask the basic questions like hey where are you from how
00:05:48.280 old are you stuff like that you know what do you look like that's when you know you start to reel
00:05:51.820 them in a little bit. And that's, and that's what I did with this girl. You know, I added her
00:05:56.800 randomly. Hey, how old are you? Where are you from? What do you look like? Once I realized,
00:06:00.160 you know, she was my age or she was 21. She was one year older, close to me and also looked pretty
00:06:04.960 hot. I asked her like, Hey, do you want to get together? Um, and we did a couple of days later.
00:06:10.600 Um, and then we went back to my apartment. Um, and you know, okay. Read the Bible, read the Bible.
00:06:18.860 so you hit good job but um then she had to go to florida for a week and you know we talked for
00:06:25.580 a while i was trying to keep it on the down low that i was dating this girl because i have like
00:06:30.660 former roommates who i also like work with and stuff who i didn't really want knowing about it
00:06:35.420 but i told this girl that works downstairs to where we work about it and she spilled to them
00:06:41.000 so it's kind of out in the open now or something and i kind of just had to bite the bullet and
00:06:44.980 realize like, okay, I need to be like a little more private about my stuff if I don't want stuff
00:06:49.220 getting around to them. So finally, she comes back from Florida about a week later. She shows up at
00:06:55.280 my place. We like order a pizza and we're talking. Obviously, since she was coming to my place,
00:07:00.560 I was under the assumption that something else was going to happen. But then she basically starts
00:07:06.760 asking me like, what is this? Like, what are we doing? And I'm like, what do you mean?
00:07:10.920 you'd known her a week at that point a week and a couple days maybe 10 days okay so now it's the
00:07:17.720 what are we conversation basically i'm like what do you mean she's like you know we're too old to
00:07:22.840 be playing these games you know i can't keep doing this without like a commitment or something and
00:07:29.560 i'm telling her like hey first of all take a chill pill like we've seen each other one other time or
00:07:34.600 something how about we just sit back you know enjoy our evening or something and she just keeps
00:07:40.520 standing on her ground like no i need a commitment and just basically as she's saying like okay well
00:07:44.920 that's going to be the case have a good night she's grabbing her stuff walk out um i did try
00:07:49.240 and make one last move basically because as she's like walking out i told her like hey well real
00:07:55.000 quick you know if uh where do you go oh you there hello oh i don't hear him are you still there
00:08:12.280 pearl i'm here can you hear me rejoining okay i'm letting him back in what do you think of a girl
00:08:19.880 asking for commitment after 10 days yeah no sorry my internet so i mean was this girl the same age
00:08:29.960 as you like 19 20. he says he was she was 21. wait okay finish the finish the story so what
00:08:38.840 happened when she was she said she was walking out and then what happened
00:08:42.760 and now he's on mute
00:08:48.240 yeah yeah i'm sorry about this basically um as like she's on her way out i asked her i was like
00:08:57.000 well hey if us are going to be a thing of the past how about just for old time's sake then i
00:09:01.840 started pointing at my bedroom and then she just turned around and walked out um and that was the
00:09:07.680 i saw for basically and then she unadded me on snap and stuff so that's uh that's where i'm at
00:09:15.760 what do you think doug mpa um one of the journeys of a man is taking l's and moving forward because
00:09:25.280 that's one of the biggest differences between men and women like you you gotta learn how to
00:09:30.240 how to take l's and here's the thing if a woman breaks up with the okay if a woman tells you
00:09:34.640 something believe her the first time move on she kind of took the l though because he like hit and
00:09:43.360 then didn't want to commit well yeah but um you know just move on if you're still you're not still
00:09:51.680 occupied with this girl are you like are you glad she's gone or what i mean it was good like the
00:09:57.920 time that we spent together so i can't really say that you know i'm thrilled that like nothing will
00:10:03.840 happen any chance of anything will happen again or something but you know if she's gonna walk out
00:10:11.000 that easy um over like a stupid like oh we're too old for these games then i can understand how
00:10:16.540 maybe i like matrix level dodged a bullet or something but you know at the same time you know
00:10:22.840 like you know with me finally like having my own apartment and stuff i do want to get to the point
00:10:27.900 where like i can regularly like bring a lot of these women over and like not have to worry about
00:10:32.640 you know competing with some of the people i work with and stuff who are bringing in women left and
00:10:36.880 right or something you know like i got like these older co-workers who are like in their 30s or
00:10:41.940 something and they have like a new woman over every night and meanwhile i'm just stuck to like
00:10:45.260 the snapchat screen or something you know so like here's the thing though uh when you're 20
00:10:51.480 you really don't bring up a lot of value to the table because you know look when you're a man you
00:10:58.380 turned 18 it's a scary feeling because you're not worth anything you you should you have to build
00:11:05.080 your value 30 year old guys especially 30 year old guys who are established and have money and
00:11:10.600 have 10 years on you that they're gonna get more women than you and there's nothing you can do
00:11:14.660 about it because they have 10 years on you so so you you have to accept that well but at the same
00:11:22.500 time and you have to go ahead i understand what you're saying but at the same time i'm not gonna
00:11:27.480 reveal too much about my personal life but it's like look yeah these guys are older you know i'm
00:11:32.200 a business owner man you know like i've got i've met some and worked with some pretty powerful
00:11:35.580 people that these people that these guys like haven't been around like i don't understand why
00:11:39.080 that's not being viewed as like you know me being the jordan belford and then all my 30 year old
00:11:43.940 co-workers are like my jonah hill and whatever the fuck his name is you know stuff like that so
00:11:48.300 like i just i i said i said i said he should have made her work for it and given her like
00:11:56.440 i'll i'll maybe commit after x y and z and then you know then you could still not in three months
00:12:04.040 yeah because here's the thing we had a show about situationships women here's the thing you you if a
00:12:13.740 woman says what are we and she wants a commitment there's there's a way to keep her around without
00:12:18.840 saying there's no commitment we don't really say yes you don't really say no this was a situation
00:12:24.700 where you should have been able to do that and here's the thing like women always want an
00:12:31.020 explanation and always want a why just don't give them one okay if you don't give them a story
00:12:39.740 they can't find holes in it if you don't give them just next time this happens and a woman
00:12:44.460 asks you for for for commitment you say look i'm giving you all i can right now
00:12:48.380 but you know see us guys we especially when you're young you care about a woman's emotional well-being
00:13:02.300 to a fault you need to stop doing that and here's the thing if you're if you're a good a quote
00:13:08.140 unquote good guy you hate lying to women you you hate to be a scumbag it's against your nature
00:13:15.340 so just shut up dude don't say anything if it makes you feel bad to say to lie to women and
00:13:21.420 say horrible things to women you'll get there when you get older but right now stop talking dude
00:13:29.180 i mean like i've seen like i've seen like your show like i've i've listened to like the call
00:13:33.020 ends where like you guys you and a few other guys have said before like you know trust me dude when
00:13:36.700 you turn 30 like it's raining vaginas and stuff like that like that's what happens like you
00:13:41.100 that's like what happens when you turn like 35 or something but it's like i want to be able to work
00:13:45.580 with what i have you know now that i have my own place and you know my own little bit of clout
00:13:49.180 like hey look at me i'm a big shot or something like that i just want to be able to work with
00:13:52.940 something that i have so you know do you think i'm making a mistake just like sticking to like
00:13:57.180 the snapchat strategy should i like try to move up a little bit or something so here's the thing
00:14:02.700 you have an established strategy you um get steady in that where you have a steady amount of women
00:14:10.140 coming in there get yourself a nicer rotation where you're never really alone okay it's like
00:14:16.780 the best time to apply for a job is when you already have a job
00:14:20.780 the best time to try to upgrade your game is when you already have women coming in so don't knock
00:14:27.820 your strategy but i like the fact that you feel the need to upgrade and you have the means to be
00:14:32.700 able to do it but look but you haven't there a lot of guys especially when they're 20 have no strategy
00:14:38.220 at all man like none a lot of guys out there aren't getting any you're trashing your your
00:14:45.180 snapchat strategy are you crazy well my my co-worker told me today after uh like all this
00:14:51.740 that i should like delete snapchat and like actually go to like a serious dating app or
00:14:55.420 something because of like the bots and the scammers that are on snap and it's like yeah that's true
00:14:59.420 but there's also just as much of that on like dating apps or yeah something you know what i mean
00:15:03.420 why not do you have good pictures like did you get a photographer uh some of them are
00:15:09.020 professionally done yeah that's good okay um yeah um give yourself credit for even it sounds
00:15:16.380 seem like you have more access than the average 20 year old man so give me some credit for that
00:15:21.260 a lot of guys are out here starving especially at 20 starving so give yourself credit dude
00:15:28.700 you know well and i won't lie a lot of a lot of the women that i brought around really aren't
00:15:34.320 something to like brag about like i have a couple of hey you gotta start you gotta start somewhere
00:15:39.700 yeah we've all smashed whales we've all smashed threes and fours man that's that's what we call
00:15:47.040 again that's what we call practice for your wife
00:15:50.660 yeah so what is your strategy for for upgrading it's another reason i'm calling in like trying to
00:16:01.840 figure that out basically um you know it's like it's like i'll go out with like some of the guys
00:16:07.420 i work with who you know are older and are bringing in like new women left and right or
00:16:10.780 something or like what are they doing like uh they i have no clue they do the same thing that
00:16:17.080 i do and somehow they're landing you know the women that work downstairs or something like that
00:16:21.920 and it's like what i was i'm doing the same thing like am i just ugly like what's happening well
00:16:26.960 you're also 20 man i i can't tell you how much age because the most desirable ages for a man
00:16:34.900 to women is like what isn't it like 40 to 45 pearl um in my opinion it depends what age the women are
00:16:44.680 but i think it's like 35 yeah something like that yeah but i think a 50 year old will get
00:16:50.200 more matches though because there's like the leftover women too like i'm guessing if it's
00:16:54.780 in numbers but yeah go ahead you're gonna i always say the 90s were the best decade but
00:17:03.120 i didn't get to enjoy the 90s because i wanted to grow up so bad like you're 20 years old man
00:17:10.940 enjoy the fact that you're 20 you're building yourself into something like do don't rush to try
00:17:18.700 to like jump ahead understand i'm saying it's got if you what's your what you want is a time-based
00:17:27.340 problem if you stay consistent you don't get married you don't have any kids you don't get
00:17:31.820 one of these stds that'll permanently be there it will come stop trying to rush it man put that
00:17:38.540 effort into your business and stuff but when it comes to women don't don't try to rush it man just
00:17:43.740 don't i i understand what you're saying and i agree obviously but you know just the position
00:17:49.760 that i'm in and maybe i'm just saying this wrong or maybe there's something else i could be doing
00:17:53.620 here that you know you could lay me out but it's like i guess the easiest way to put it is like you
00:17:58.160 know all my friends you know spent their new years you know getting laid or you know hanging out with
00:18:02.760 all these women like in the casino and stuff. I spent my New Year's getting yelled at by a 30
00:18:08.700 year old man because I didn't want to do something for work. You know what I mean? Like, you know,
00:18:12.360 and I know that's the position that I've chosen, you know, for me as like a business owner and
00:18:16.240 stuff like that. But it's like at the same time, you know, if there's a chance that when I turn
00:18:20.880 40 or 45, I can't get anything just because, you know, I don't know, maybe I turned out to be a
00:18:25.740 messed up 45 or 40 year old. I don't want to miss like the best open window that I had.
00:18:30.800 you know what i mean right now are you gonna um are have you been on like dating apps have those
00:18:36.240 been doing well or no uh yeah they do pretty well i've noticed something i'll say at least for me
00:18:42.140 is that dating app women are more likely to ghost you than snapchat women because like every girl
00:18:46.580 i've hooked up with every girl i've ever been like on a date or something i basically met through
00:18:49.980 snapchat through like my little quick ad strategy um a lot of these dating app women like from hinge
00:18:55.020 or tinder it's like they'll like respond to me but as soon as i get down like hey let's get
00:18:59.520 together that's when like the tech stop coming basically i don't know what it is but like for
00:19:05.680 some reason snaps you're you're competing with all of like the events and stuff and a million
00:19:10.400 it's not even just like you know um do you like what are the messages usually like do you guys
00:19:17.120 talk a lot or is it just because i've heard a lot of the pua guys say that you shouldn't talk much
00:19:23.600 except for logistics because women will just waste your time for years days well i mean like
00:19:30.720 you know i've you know i'm i'm a pickup line collector so you know sometimes that's what i'll
00:19:37.060 use on like a dating app or something whereas on snapchat you know i can be a little more
00:19:41.560 up for a collector a pickup line collector okay so you know because i know that's what people like
00:19:48.220 expect on dating apps like i know that's like status quo on dating apps or something whereas
00:19:51.620 on snapchat it's just like hey i added you hey you're cute like let's get together or something
00:19:56.900 you know what i mean cool well thanks for share i thought i liked your last line to her would you
00:20:04.100 have taken that girl seriously or no like down the line if she didn't do that well first of all
00:20:09.940 it would depend how she responded to some of my other lines um but maybe i don't know uh
00:20:17.940 uh, cause like I gave her, uh, I, you know, I told her like this other line when we first
00:20:22.440 met, um, like on the first date and she liked it. So that told me that she at least, you
00:20:26.080 know, had like the same kind of mindset that I was in of like, Hey, this is how this is
00:20:30.200 going to go. So, and somewhere down the line, she'll like changed her mind on the second
00:20:33.440 date or something. Um, so I don't know. We didn't get that far.
00:20:38.160 Okay. Okay. Well, cool. Thanks for calling in. They, I appreciate it.
00:20:43.380 Well, can we, uh, you think we can do this again in like a week? You think we can do
00:20:46.560 again in like a week yeah i'll get it i'll get it i'll get a dating coach on the line go ahead yeah
00:20:51.600 i just want to go back to the thing where your beginning issue like you
00:20:58.720 this whole needing to know people's business thing man like especially when it comes to
00:21:03.280 to your friend dude who cares man honestly like if he's being flaky you're gonna as you get older
00:21:11.280 your guys are gonna get girlfriends and just disappear man you're not gonna see him for a
00:21:16.000 a year maybe two and then when they break up all of a sudden they're going to want to get on the
00:21:20.800 xbox again man it it's how it is with with some guys like some guys they get pussy whipped and
00:21:27.840 then all of a sudden oh yo man yo bro i can't come out man my girl doesn't want me they're
00:21:32.640 going to disappear so just let them let them disappear well but i also don't want to do about
00:21:38.400 it well but i also don't like you know because like my work the people that i work with also
00:21:42.480 happen to be my roommates, you know, they definitely don't see it that way. Like they
00:21:46.000 found out by just completely just interrogating this girl who I told that I was even seeing
00:21:51.240 someone in the first place. So since they don't see it that way, you know, I kind of have to like
00:21:55.200 adapt to that a little bit and like camouflage, like, okay, so if all of our business is going
00:21:59.600 to be out there, let's just, let's cooperate with that. And let's, you know, get to the middle of
00:22:03.980 like what's happening with everyone or something. Cause I don't want to be the odd man out.
00:22:07.220 Okay. So you want to stalk them back. It's like a retaliation.
00:22:10.800 Well, not that. I just want to know the truth too. Like, you know, I understand like their
00:22:16.060 whole mentality that says like, we need to know because like we care about Aaron since he's the
00:22:19.900 youngest and we're like 10 years older than him. I get that. But at the same time, you know, if
00:22:24.820 if the truth is going to be like so important to like everyone, I don't want it to like not
00:22:29.160 be important to me. Yeah. The best thing you can do is apathy, dude. Just don't I've had to learn
00:22:36.200 are less in apathy, man.
00:22:38.100 Like, I've had people come in out of my life,
00:22:41.440 this whole truth thing, man, just don't let it,
00:22:44.440 you have a business to run.
00:22:46.980 Like, just, this is, you only have 100% of time and effort
00:22:50.620 to give at any given time,
00:22:52.340 and this is taking up too much of that 100%, man.
00:22:55.080 You have a business to run,
00:22:58.060 you gotta build yourself up in this world, man.
00:23:00.500 What other people are doing, man,
00:23:02.100 just just apathy is your best friend in this situation cool well thanks for calling in
00:23:09.980 calling anytime okay uh pearl i have your contact i promise when i have an update maybe like a week
00:23:16.920 or two we will uh do this again i really want to do this again because i'm either going to be
00:23:20.840 better off in a week or worse off in a week all right no no stalking okay yeah all right now we're
00:23:28.220 going to talk about some stds make sure you avoid them all right wrap it up all right buddy
00:23:35.520 all right guys so welcome to another episode of pearl daily um so the dating market is a dumpster
00:23:43.360 fire and men are just fed up if a man wants to date he has to worry about women not only women's
00:23:48.220 bad attitudes are unreasonable expectations toxic friends and the risk of being blasted all over the
00:23:53.720 internet on the t app or one of those are we dating the same guy facebook groups but worst of
00:23:59.000 all they have to worry about stds i've been covering various stds the last few fridays because
00:24:04.600 one because the conversation needs to be had we are going to continue that trend by covering
00:24:10.760 syphilis and hepatitis syphilis is an std that is caused by a bacterial infection contracted
00:24:16.920 through sexual contact it can be cured by a single shot of penicillin there were 200 700 reported
00:24:23.800 cases of syphilis in 2022 that is the highest since the 1950s the primary stage of syphilis
00:24:30.600 is a painless sore that appears at the site of infection typically within 10 to 90 days after
00:24:36.360 exposure the secondary stage which is a rash a fever swollen lymphnoids sore throat and other
00:24:42.680 flu-like symptoms that develop six to 12 weeks after the infection the latent stage the infection
00:24:48.760 becomes dormant and may not cause symptoms for years and the territory stage which is untreated
00:24:56.920 syphilis that causes blindness heart damage brain damage um and blindness and sometimes death
00:25:04.360 all right so now we're gonna have this sti awareness now we're gonna have this nice this
00:25:08.520 It's also a nice white lady talking to us about STDs.
00:25:11.840 This week and every day this week, I'm making a video on a different STI.
00:25:16.560 Today's topic is syphilis.
00:25:18.800 Now syphilis cases are up 80% across the U.S. since 2015 and congenital syphilis, so babies
00:25:27.100 being born with syphilis, is up 300% over the past five years.
00:25:32.360 So syphilis is quickly becoming a serious public health concern for us here in the U.S.
00:25:37.620 talk about it. Syphilis is this spiral shaped bacteria under a microscope and in medicine we
00:25:43.620 call it the great pretender because it can present in a host of different ways and sometimes be
00:25:49.660 tricky to diagnose. Syphilis is spread through direct contact with a syphilitic ulcer or a
00:25:55.160 syphilitic sore. So syphilis in its primary stage causes an ulcer or a sore. Now that sore is
00:26:01.860 typically painless and a lot of times it's located internally. So it can be you know in the mouth,
00:26:07.440 in the vagina or in the rectum and therefore people are unaware that they have this sore
00:26:12.400 and a lot of times sexual partners will not ever see the sore notice the sore or have any indication
00:26:18.080 that that person may have syphilis i have even seen a syphilitic ulcer on someone's arm before
00:26:23.760 so any direct contact with a syphilitic sore can transmit the infection regarding symptoms of
00:26:33.120 syphilis again there can be many but we classically think about syphilis in four stages so primary
00:26:39.360 syphilis the first stage is the appearance of the sore or the syphilitic ulcer and remember this
00:26:44.800 sore may be located internally somewhere where you can't see it and it classically does not hurt it's
00:26:50.640 a painless ulcer and so even if you do notice something on the body a lot of people will you
00:26:56.080 know notice something but it doesn't hurt and it goes away on its own without treatment and so
00:27:00.960 people really don't think anything of it the next stage of syphilis secondary syphilis is classically
00:27:06.240 associated with a rash and that rash is typically a full body rash including the palms of the hands
00:27:12.960 and it might be a little bit itchy but nothing too crazy um this stage can also be associated
00:27:18.880 with flu-like symptoms lymph node swelling and all sorts of things you know patchy hair loss
00:27:25.200 headaches sore throat fatigue but again this stage will also clear on its own the rash will go away
00:27:31.840 the symptoms will go away without treatment but that patient still has syphilis so untreated
00:27:36.880 secondary syphilis then leads to latent phase of syphilis which is where you still have syphilis
00:27:43.120 because you've not been treated but there's absolutely no signs or symptoms at all and this
00:27:48.080 phase can actually persist for years so people can have syphilis for years and years without
00:27:53.680 ever knowing it latent syphilis can eventually over years and years progress to tertiary syphilis
00:27:59.440 and this is a very serious condition in which i would just say get tested every three months
00:28:04.720 i know it's a because it's expensive it's probably going to cost you i was looking at quest prices
00:28:11.680 the other day and i'm like it's probably going to cost you like a grand a year but if you're
00:28:15.360 sexually active you know which the bacteria has now started to affect the organs it can affect
00:28:21.840 the eyes the brain the ears the heart the muscles basically all of our organs and you can experience
00:28:29.440 symptoms like vision loss hearing loss ears ringing confusion sometimes it's confused with
00:28:35.760 dementia muscle weakness damage to the heart and eventually in some cases death syphilis if caught
00:28:43.200 at really any stage can be treatable 100 fully curable with antibiotics and the drug of choice
00:28:50.800 for syphilis is penicillin if the syphilis is caught in the primary secondary or latent phase
00:28:56.800 you often just need one shot one to three depending on the circumstances of penicillin
00:29:02.160 and in the tertiary phase it's recommended to have iv penicillin over several days
00:29:07.280 the damage that has occurred to the organs in tertiary syphilis may not be reversible
00:29:12.320 but in my personal experience i've seen people make a hundred percent recoveries once the
00:29:16.880 syphilis was treated thing to note about syphilis is that it can take quite a while to show up on a
00:29:21.920 blood test and that's the way we test for syphilis through the blood or if you do have an ulcer it
00:29:26.720 can be cultured but typically syphilis is diagnosed through the blood test but it can take anywhere
00:29:32.080 between 30 sometimes up to 90 days for that test to turn positive in the blood and so i recommend
00:29:38.640 people who are sexually active be screened about every three months or so for these types of
00:29:44.000 infection so you can make sure that nothing ever goes missed this little guy has been plaguing
00:29:48.880 humanity since 3000 bc and it's not showing any signs of slowing down so we have to be aware of
00:29:55.600 these things get your sti testing get treated when necessary and just be aware of the risks
00:30:02.400 what questions do you have about syphilis all right what a nice she you know she's always so
00:30:09.360 Cheery, I like her. Now she's also going to let us know three things we should know about syphilis.
00:30:17.280 A syphilis outbreak occurring in Houston, Texas, and the health department is reporting a 128%
00:30:23.120 increase in women since 2019. So these are the top three things I want you to know about syphilis.
00:30:29.480 The first thing I want you to know about syphilis is that oftentimes it is asymptomatic and people
00:30:34.540 do not even know they have it. The classic symptoms of syphilis, such as an ulcer or a rash,
00:30:41.060 will go away on their own without treatment, so they're often either missed or confused for other
00:30:46.140 conditions. The second thing I want you to know about syphilis is that it can be transmitted
00:30:50.140 through pretty much all forms of sex, vaginal sex, anal sex, oral sex, and even skin-to-skin contact
00:30:56.400 if you come into contact with a syphilitic ulcer. These ulcers are usually painless and they can be
00:31:02.280 located inside the mouth, inside the vagina, or inside the anus, so people may not know they have
00:31:07.660 them and you may not be able to see them. The third thing I want you to know about syphilis is that it
00:31:12.160 can take quite a while to show up on a test after you've been exposed to the bacteria. It can take
00:31:17.540 up to 30 days after you were exposed for the syphilis blood test to turn positive, and in some
00:31:22.920 cases even 60 or 90 days after exposure. So what I recommend is being tested 30, 60, and 90 days out
00:31:31.120 from a potential exposure. And if you're regularly sexually active, I recommend simply being tested
00:31:36.340 every three months. Now, there is a lot more to be said about syphilis. All right. What do we got
00:31:43.620 next? He already knew she was his daughter. All right, let's see. What? I have syphilis. I'm sorry.
00:31:57.040 It's okay.
00:31:57.820 I got a shot.
00:31:58.780 I'm cured.
00:31:59.380 Then why are you even telling us?
00:32:00.840 Because it's really contagious.
00:32:02.680 Maybe you guys should get tested.
00:32:03.800 Well, what are the symptoms?
00:32:04.800 These sores in your mouth.
00:32:06.700 Oh.
00:32:07.600 No.
00:32:08.240 I don't have any sores.
00:32:09.680 Yeah, me either.
00:32:10.660 Not yet, but maybe you will.
00:32:12.700 People like us don't get syphilis.
00:32:14.300 I did.
00:32:14.980 Yeah, well, you did some really nasty guys.
00:32:16.820 I did the same guys you did.
00:32:18.900 And, like, half the basketball team.
00:32:20.600 Look, I'm just trying to be responsible, okay?
00:32:22.740 You don't need to be such a bitch.
00:32:23.960 I'm sorry, but Nick and Brad are coming over, and I'd really appreciate it if you didn't tell them.
00:32:27.800 You should know.
00:32:28.640 Fine, tell them later if it'll make you feel so responsible.
00:32:31.320 I'm going to have fun tonight.
00:32:32.440 I'm not going to have fun anymore.
00:32:34.840 You coming?
00:32:35.860 She's going to hang for Nick.
00:32:38.480 Girls in love.
00:32:39.600 I'm sorry.
00:32:40.600 Were you going to tell us that Dawn has syphilis?
00:32:43.080 Dad, she told me that in confidence.
00:32:45.060 Not that I can go down broadcasting stuff like that.
00:32:47.180 How about that the school's asking kids to get tested?
00:32:49.560 They didn't ask me.
00:32:51.120 Did anything happen between you and Nick?
00:32:53.460 No.
00:32:53.960 All right. You know, pretending something didn't happen, Hannah, is not going to make it go away.
00:32:59.300 Nothing happened. If something's going on, don't shut us out. We want to help you, not judge you.
00:33:08.300 Yep. Yep. Yeah, that's how she got syphilis. OK, I guess there is a syphilis outbreak in Charlotte.
00:33:16.980 Good evening and thanks for staying with us here at 730.
00:33:19.540 former health department employees are warning about what they call a syphilis tsunami hitting
00:33:25.060 charlotte they say local and state health leaders aren't doing enough to protect the public
00:33:30.820 at six o'clock tonight investigative reporter david hodges spoke with a former mecklenburg
00:33:35.320 county health employee who says in some cases it is taking months for health employees to track
00:33:41.300 down new syphilis patients because of a staffing shortage and a backlog of cases the records show
00:33:48.480 the Charlotte region far worse at tracking down these certain cases than many other areas of the
00:33:53.660 state. In 2022, just 75% of new syphilis patients assigned to county disease specialists were
00:34:01.000 interviewed, compared to more than 95% from the rest of the state. Former Mecklenburg Health
00:34:07.820 employee Emanuel Stanley says he warned his supervisors about the problems, but he was
00:34:13.020 ultimately fired. County records indicate it was a personnel issue, but Stanley says he believes
00:34:18.420 he was terminated for sounding the alarm on syphilis and other safety issues at the department
00:34:23.700 involving employee who was arrested. Now Dave is digging deeper into issues he's investigating
00:34:29.820 at the county health and human resources departments. WBTV has interviewed two former
00:34:36.400 Mecklenburg County Health employees who have been blowing the whistle on what they call
00:34:40.600 a syphilis tsunami. We had a great operation going on but now that all of that which we had built up
00:34:47.460 me and Christy over that one year to clean up a governmentally induced outbreak. To me,
00:34:54.920 it's no different than Tuskegee syphilis experiments. Emmanuel Stanley was fired in
00:34:59.240 January. Christy McCray resigned in February. I just saw my hands were tied. Nobody, I felt like
00:35:07.320 were really listening. The public needs to know they have to protect themselves from this deadly
00:35:11.440 disease that's running rampant in our community. According to Stanley's personnel records, which
00:35:16.380 WBTV obtained through a public records request. His termination from the county had nothing to do
00:35:22.360 with his warnings about the syphilis outbreak. The reasons listed in this dismissal letter
00:35:26.760 include disorderly conduct and workplace violence. To me, they were trumped up and concocted. So this
00:35:32.320 is a confidential HR matter. WBTV obtained a recording of Stanley's termination appeals
00:35:38.060 hearing. Mecklenburg Public Health Director Raynor Washington argued the case for why Stanley
00:35:44.720 should be fired. He didn't present evidence of any violence, but instead focused on an incident
00:35:50.820 in which Stanley was accused of screaming at a human resources employee. The reason why we're
00:35:55.580 here ultimately is because of your actions, specifically the yelling, the cursing that's
00:35:59.700 been described. Okay. All right. So we got a syphilis outbreak. Not good.
00:36:06.900 Now I guess there's one in Houston too. We have a health alert tonight, a sharp and shocking
00:36:12.760 increase in the number of infectious syphilis cases in the houston area the health department
00:36:16.920 says the number rose 59 percent in just the first half of certain ethnic groups are at a higher risk
00:36:23.000 stop raw dogging for god's sake yeah i know it's like
00:36:28.000 i know 2018 or any syphilis is back i mean it didn't leave rhoda is live tonight with
00:36:35.700 who's most at risk andy we know the answer to that question come on
00:36:42.760 hi keith in the early 2000s syphilis was close to being eliminated but since then health officials
00:36:48.520 say every few years they've seen a spike in cases now syphilis symptoms aren't always noticeable
00:36:55.240 so a person may have it and not even know they're infected most at risk anyone who's had multiple
00:37:02.200 sex partners health officials say they're particularly concerned about gay and bisexual men
00:37:08.040 who engage in anonymous sex they've also seen an increase in syphilis cases among women
00:37:14.600 last year there were it's the bi guys they bring stuff back to the women 30. so far this year
00:37:21.000 they're at 47. we want to make sure women get tested because with syphilis you know they do
00:37:27.000 run the risk of the baby being um dying so far there have been 263 reported cases in the first
00:37:34.680 six months of 2018 compared to 165 during the same period last year. Health officials also warn
00:37:42.120 that if you've already been diagnosed with an STD, you're at a much higher risk of getting infected.
00:37:48.120 One way to reduce your risk, make sure your partner wears a condom every time you have sex.
00:37:53.640 Syphilis may start with a painless sore that usually goes away in three to six weeks.
00:37:58.760 Other symptoms include swollen glands, patchy hair loss, and a non-itchy rash on your hands or the soles of your feet.
00:38:06.500 You may have syphilis, and later on, a few years, you may discover that you have damage to your organs.
00:38:15.340 Yeah, that's one we don't want.
00:38:17.720 Okay, so there are multiple kinds of hepatitis, but hepatitis B is considered an STD and is the most likely to spread by sexual activity.
00:38:27.740 hepatitis b can be spread through infected blood semen and other bodily fruit fluids the symptoms
00:38:34.220 of hepatitis b include fatigue loss of appetite fever nausea dark colored urine joint pain and
00:38:40.860 yellowing of the skin and the eyes hepatitis b is incurable and there are medications that can
00:38:46.220 suppress the virus to prevent further damage to the liver and other organs there's also vaccines
00:38:51.820 that can prevent a hepatitis B infection.
00:38:53.960 In 2022, there were 2,126 cases of hepatitis B
00:38:58.560 in 47 states and the D.C. area,
00:39:01.500 with an estimated 13,800 actual cases
00:39:05.460 for adjusting those that are unreported.
00:39:07.840 Most of those cases were reported
00:39:09.940 between people ages 40 to 59 years old.
00:39:19.660 Hi, it's Dr. Joshi,
00:39:21.160 I'm a liver specialist let's talk about hepatitis B this virus is transmitted from person to person
00:39:26.440 through infected body fluids and it affects four percent of the global population and also
00:39:31.880 wow that's higher than I thought four percent the cause of the majority of the world's cases
00:39:36.520 of liver cancer most commonly found in people who were born or living in China India the Philippines
00:39:43.880 and Nigeria and other African countries as well you will only know you have this virus if you get
00:39:49.240 tested because most people have no symptoms. People who need treatment are often the ones
00:39:54.520 who have an elevated viral load, elevated liver enzymes, or any indication of liver damage.
00:39:59.480 And being on treatment, if you're a candidate, can reduce the risk of liver fibrosis and injury
00:40:04.920 and reduce the risk of liver cancer. So if you think you're at risk of having Hepatitis B,
00:40:10.440 see your doctor and get screened for the important proteins that indicate
00:40:14.680 whether or not you have active infection or not. Okay, I got that. Next, we got...
00:40:33.320 Okay.
00:40:33.640 hello so i found out that i have hepatitis b after my initial lab test results so my ob-gyn
00:40:46.120 called me to inform me that i did test positive for hepatitis b she did reassure me that there
00:40:55.000 was nothing to worry about and that is a common finding for women who were born in asian countries
00:41:02.520 she further explained that my mother may have passed it on to me during birth
00:41:09.720 she then referred me to a perinatologist to help with further testing
00:41:16.100 um i did additional blood tests every trimester to check my viral load and luckily
00:41:22.700 um they were less than zero so all right so she's finding out her mother gave her hepatitis b
00:41:30.080 oh my god can you imagine being that mad at your mom for being a whore
00:41:34.860 oh my god it's undetectable both doctors did inform me that our baby will be getting an
00:41:44.500 additional vaccine called the hepatitis b ivig which is an extra protection for
00:41:54.600 the baby from the virus. My peritologist also recommended that I do see a GI specialist to
00:42:04.280 check if my liver is doing okay. And so far my baby has had the IVIG and two Hep B vaccine shots.
00:42:14.560 Our pediatrician informed us that we will be checking my baby's viral load
00:42:20.000 to make sure that everything is going well yeah how does the doctor know she got it from her mom
00:42:29.440 um i think it's because of like in a lot of those countries it's common but they probably don't you
00:42:34.140 know even doctors will lie to women to make us feel better i do know one person that has that
00:42:42.200 std i don't know which hepatitis i didn't ask but this person was older and they lived to be pretty
00:42:48.920 old like she's this person's in their like 70s so i don't think it doesn't seem to have affected
00:42:56.040 this person's life what's up back with another video today and the video that's what we're going
00:43:03.800 to talk about in this video is hepatitis b now if you if you think you got hepatitis b these symptoms
00:43:13.160 it's just normal regular day symptoms fatigue tiredness fever joint pain stomach pain nausea
00:43:24.600 vomiting loss of appetite yellow swellness of eyes um your p might be like a light color or
00:43:33.880 you might have stool or dark stuff in your um urine and uh hepatitis b you can't get rid of it
00:43:41.320 can't get rid of hepatitis b now it could go away on its own but you you can't get rid of hepatitis
00:43:48.200 b matter of fact hepatitis b be up some shit it can cause other problems if you don't get tested
00:43:54.280 and make sure you don't have it it can cause other problems hepatitis b hpv hiv and um
00:44:03.960 Um, what's the other one?
00:44:07.060 Hepatitis HPV, hepatitis B.
00:44:13.860 And one more.
00:44:15.660 You can't get rid of.
00:44:18.160 More.
00:44:20.260 All right.
00:44:24.960 Yeah, then we got this one and then you guys can call.
00:44:29.360 Oh, just real fast.
00:44:30.260 What?
00:44:30.660 uh you're gonna hear some some celebrities who have hepatitis sure are you ready for this how
00:44:39.320 do you know they have it it's on it's on healthline.com so but how would they how could
00:44:47.240 they like know the medical records like that's you can't these celebrities have have all disclosed
00:44:54.900 that they had hepatitis okay go ahead yeah so anthony kiedis from the red hot chili peppers
00:45:00.000 lead singer pamela anderson has hepatitis c no way yeah yeah uh-huh so i hope liam neeson knows
00:45:09.360 you know what yeah and i i think there's some way that it doesn't spread i don't i know someone that
00:45:17.640 has it and i know the person that has it the person married doesn't i don't know how i don't
00:45:23.620 i didn't ask but yeah sorry go ahead uh once oh i lost my hold on okay um
00:45:31.540 natasha leone has it okay uh stephen tyler from aerosmith he had it ken watanabe he's a actor
00:45:43.280 he had it who else would you know naomi judd she had it david crosby had it billy gramp the
00:45:53.980 wrestler had it lou reed the singer he had it and natalie cole you know nat king cole's daughter
00:45:59.700 had hepatitis c greg allman from the allman brothers he had hepatitis c evil knievel the
00:46:05.520 stuntman he had um he had to get a liver transplant because he had hepatitis c um
00:46:12.420 and those are everyone that you know everyone else is too old for you to know
00:46:16.940 yeah it seems like the person i know that has it is older
00:46:20.620 uh it seems to be an older person thing something yeah so ladies if you go for a grandpa just know
00:46:27.880 he might you guys are banging these old broads they might give you something very natal spread
00:46:34.640 i'll just simplify it down it's very interesting so if uh somebody's parents father or mother
00:46:40.900 has hepatitis B but they don't know about it because all hepatitis B viral infections
00:46:46.420 does not become a disease. The virus just stays in your body, it doesn't do anything. In some
00:46:52.020 cases it might promote liver damage, cause cirrhosis, liver cancer, whatever. But in many
00:46:56.380 patients, many people, they are just inside we don't know about it. So in such people,
00:47:00.800 they transmit this virus to their children. So the mothers can transmit the virus to their
00:47:05.280 children during childbirth and fathers can transmit the virus to their children during
00:47:10.120 the early years of life due to excessive what do you call that handling and kissing and all so
00:47:18.680 usually only the yeah usually only the eldest son or daughter gets it what is very important in India
00:47:25.880 and very importantly what I see something known as perinatal spread I'll just simplify it down
00:47:31.320 it's very interesting so if somebody's parents father or mother has hepatitis B but they don't
00:47:39.160 know about it because all hepatitis B viral okay yeah now we got moms giving it and dads
00:47:46.440 all right so we got questions for the callers if you have contracted hepatitis or syphilis
00:47:53.800 can you please call in and tell us your story how you got it who you got it from
00:48:00.520 or if you know somebody that has it call and tell the story is a woman with a history of hepatitis
00:48:07.640 or syphilis a deal breaker and what if she got it from her parents we're going to put a zoom link
00:48:14.840 in the chat and i would love to have you guys call in let me check the chat um again my my
00:48:20.040 computer is being weird today it's just it's just been a week with technology um
00:48:29.160 we can maybe start with a poll and see is is a woman with hepatitis from her parents a deal
00:48:35.560 breaker yes or no no fault of her own now while we're waiting we are going to show my divorce
00:48:43.040 documentary trailer while we're going to wait for people to get on the line by the way guys you can
00:48:48.780 this um this was a compilation of all the interviews I did when I was in England for the
00:48:53.320 divorce documentary unfortunately um they demonetized me I basically had to put my life
00:48:58.820 on hold the last two years um because these ladies just take me to court like it's just a
00:49:05.360 whole thing and anyways long long story short um we're trying to raise a hundred thousand dollars
00:49:12.120 the link to it is in the description if you can donate if not it's no big deal um i also want to
00:49:17.400 say thank you but my computer won't turn on but there are three people that donated last time and
00:49:23.060 two of them sent a hundred dollars so i really appreciate that we're going to read your names
00:49:26.780 next show so there's this clip going viral online of a dozen women being asked the following question
00:49:33.100 do we need men most answered very quickly no because men are useless
00:49:40.000 this headline from the hill it caught my eye most young men are single most young women are not
00:49:47.520 young men have fallen faster than any demographic in america over the last 40 years it's a different
00:49:52.600 world now like we don't need men the way that they used to the future is female men and women
00:50:01.240 are drifting further apart and society is crumbling because of it a fascinating debate
00:50:07.560 has broken out about the value of marriage we've kind of got the trad con versus red pill thing
00:50:12.040 this men's rights crowd that sometimes just goes too far the other way you need to stop acting like
00:50:17.240 grown boys and infants and actually become men. Marriage is a bond and it's a sacred bond. It's
00:50:22.620 a machine designed to extract resources from you. Now many of the red-pilled have taken the position
00:50:27.480 that it's bad for men to get married. Hannah Pearl Davis or just pearly things. One of the most
00:50:34.600 controversial faces in all of the internet. She goes on to say that marriage is a terrible deal
00:50:40.100 for men. Because if me and you were in a business contract you would never sign a contract where I
00:50:44.680 paid to leave. Gee, what could go wrong there? 74% or something of divorces are initiated by
00:50:50.840 women. Men have everything to lose, primarily their own children. Men get killed by the courts
00:50:56.120 and by divorce laws. I had no idea that courts of family law were courts of equity, not courts of
00:51:01.460 law. Because in family court, you don't need evidence to accuse someone of abuse. You need
00:51:05.460 no evidence. When you guys say get married young, a lot of these men don't know what they're signing
00:51:09.380 up for, and you're not going to be there when their entire life falls apart. I interviewed them
00:51:14.140 the other side. I didn't meet my son until he was 15 months old. How much did you spend trying to
00:51:19.580 get him back? The legal fees alone was about $200,000. Before you know it, you're homeless.
00:51:23.900 You're literally just thrown out onto the street. We absolutely reinforce bad behavior from women.
00:51:28.460 Wives are taught to leave their husbands and then daughters grow up without their fathers.
00:51:32.700 Family is the foundation of society. Every problem in society comes from single mother homes. A lot
00:51:37.740 of women will just chase this negative rabbit hole of happiness, endless happiness. Feminism's
00:51:42.220 biggest failures is it lies to women we tell women to date as many guys as possible we tell
00:51:45.900 them to put off family into marriage you are allowed to leave your perfect husband you are
00:51:50.460 allowed to end a relationship with a really great boyfriend oh freeze your eggs have an abortion
00:51:56.380 what you're evil i don't think there's anything else in life that we actually ever go into
00:52:00.300 preparing to fail like if you have the mentality of this is going to go wrong and be pessimistic
00:52:05.740 naturally the outcome is going to be that it's going to fail anyway it's self-sabotage that's
00:52:09.500 the thing like women are so willing to leave marriages because they're not happy this is not
00:52:13.740 about happiness the most important thing is the children and the problem is we have a modern
00:52:18.780 society where it's me me me my feelings leave when i feel like it instead of doing what's best for the
00:52:24.380 kids this myth that we live in an age of male privilege where's my male privilege they think
00:52:29.980 well men have all the rights they have all the power privilege patriarchal system that we have
00:52:34.540 why doesn't our society care about men's rights i have no friends no wife and no social life men
00:52:40.700 are alone in this situation men are homeless men are thinking about eating guns i've seen so many
00:52:45.980 men on on the brink of suicide and they didn't do anything wrong how are you equal if the men
00:52:51.900 are the ones that have to fight and die to defend the country the men are the ones that
00:52:56.220 build and maintain all the infrastructure women are helplessly dependent upon that the so-called
00:53:01.900 deaths of despair from suicide overdose to alcohol three times higher among men than among women
00:53:08.380 culture is telling men you are no good you got to get your act together i think men have failed
00:53:12.620 themselves what kind of a man are you what kind of a woman are you going to attract if men are in
00:53:17.580 trouble so are women everybody knows this is a huge problem but nobody wants to admit it every
00:53:23.100 single woman at the table said they wanted a man 500k 500k 300k 200k am i crazy everything is really
00:53:28.940 set up against you to fail as a man if men make less than women women don't want to marry them
00:53:34.060 so you know who wants more economically and emotionally viable men women i don't want to be
00:53:40.300 an independent woman anymore i don't want to be a strong independent woman i'm over it when is it
00:53:45.420 going to be my turn where are we meeting the men that don't stop i can't keep having these same
00:53:49.660 conversations the only simp here is you pearl you sent for no i think i think you sent for women
00:53:54.140 she's a provocateur she says stupid stuff but pearl is right about this it's already happening
00:53:58.700 it's just not out in the open yet now it's just hookup culture is going to be our fairy tale
00:54:02.540 ending because men don't want a wife and women can't find a husband the future if everybody
00:54:07.660 follows your path is there is no future going to population decline and our economy goes into
00:54:12.940 decline civilization will crumble the american story does not end well this is an existential
00:54:19.580 crisis failing young men all right guys so if you want to donate to that feel free
00:54:28.380 otherwise please do call in if you know anybody that's had syphilis hepatitis um someone wants
00:54:35.360 to know the global global elderly std stat okay let's look into it uh doug mpa are you there
00:54:46.120 i am here all right let's see um while the global elderly
00:54:52.720 hold on let's see okay let me do what percent of people what percent of people over 60 have an std
00:55:05.560 let's see i heard that old folks homes are are uh are just havens for stds old people get it in man
00:55:15.040 yeah yeah they don't care anymore at that point it's like
00:55:18.140 i mean like do you really care if you catch anything and you're 80 it's like you're gonna
00:55:25.260 die anyway i guess that's why i said he's not gonna care about hepatitis he's 70
00:55:32.880 like what you know whatever um
00:55:38.160 okay is there anyone on the line no there isn't i was wondering if anyone would call in about
00:55:50.400 this one because there's one woman i told her to call in let me see if she will come on well
00:55:56.360 it says uh the exact origin of syphilis remains debated among scientists however the most widely
00:56:03.340 accepted theory is that it originated in the americas and was introduced to europe by christopher
00:56:08.700 columbus's crew in the late 15th century syphilis was first documented in europe in 1493 shortly
00:56:15.580 after columbus's returned from the americas archaeological evidence suggests that a similar
00:56:19.740 disease existed in the americans before european contact genetic analysis of the bacteria that
00:56:25.340 causes syphilis indicates it originated in the americas yikes at least they have cures and stuff
00:56:35.980 now and vaccines uh it says the the the the origin of syphilis is still debated but is believed that
00:56:45.180 originated from an animal possibly sheep or cattle and then crossed over to humans gee i wonder how
00:56:52.060 what percent of people over 60 i'm gonna say i have herpes because that's uh
00:57:03.740 45 percent of people over 60.
00:57:13.500 damn come on you guys call in you don't have to have your camera on
00:57:19.980 and uh i i've never met someone who's had uh hepatitis or syphilis i knew one person this
00:57:30.300 was knowingly this was someone older that i'd known for a while but i they seemed to live a
00:57:37.340 normal life i didn't see anything outwardly and all sorts of stuff you have to see you get to
00:57:43.500 al capone perish from advanced stage of syphilis likely contracted in one of his
00:57:49.260 of his whorehouses so al capone they said he likely died of syphilis
00:57:54.940 they said that you know the leader of the germans during world war ii
00:58:00.940 had many symptoms of hit of syphilis i bet yeah you you know i know yeah yeah we're not saying
00:58:10.140 my name on here but yeah yeah i just said we're not saying that name on here but yeah yeah of
00:58:16.460 course not uh abraham lincoln may have passed syphilis on to his wife
00:58:23.980 abraham lincoln did not marry until age 33 after the president's passing his former law partner
00:58:28.300 claimed that lincoln had admitted to contracting syphilis around 1835. lincoln spent time on the
00:58:34.380 mississippi river in new orleans and it's rumored to have patronized cat houses equal whorehouses
00:58:41.260 while in the city yeah um frederick nietzsche they said that he he may have died of syphilis
00:58:51.740 um lenin you know the guy that led the soviet revolution they say he he may have died of
00:58:58.140 syphilis uh who else is on this list oh henry the eighth they said that he may have had symptoms
00:59:07.660 of syphilis uh oscar wilde the author okay uh isn't beethoven may have had syphilis related
00:59:16.940 symptoms shakespeare god man this is a mother dude i think they kind of eradicated it mostly
00:59:26.620 at this okay there's a woman who worked at a clinic who's my i think i'm gonna get her to
00:59:30.540 who else is on here and that's pretty much everybody so that is no one's gonna call in
00:59:37.960 about syphilis or hepatitis i'm buying a new laptop i can't take this anymore
00:59:42.520 it's her syphilis i mean feel free if you haven't called in and told the story before
00:59:49.680 oh let's see if this girl is gonna call in now let me put it in the uh you know it's funny
00:59:58.340 i have um i've heard that even when women like learn about stds we still don't care
01:00:04.860 because my my friend told me he dated like female doctors like he dated a few and none
01:00:10.440 of them cared about using protection yeah first off the answer is yes second there's
01:00:17.100 some pride about her something like that yep let's see are you calling in all right tell
01:00:24.920 me if she gets on the line up man oh yeah my name is cat yeah cat ed can you tell the people
01:00:37.260 um a little bit about your background um i said you work for stds stuff and worked there for about
01:00:45.360 five years and was you know certified to give people results and stuff like that cool we're
01:00:53.560 talking about syphilis and hepatitis did you ever test for those or was it mostly just HIV
01:00:59.400 mostly just HIV but the people both of those unfortunately okay so it was kind of like a
01:01:06.900 co-infection with hepatitis and um HIV usually yeah and what percent of people that get HIV
01:01:14.180 would you say it's like gay people like is that do straight people in my and this could be
01:01:20.640 completely ignorant you're gonna know more than me you're doing the testing
01:01:24.100 but I thought it was just like a gay disease like just gay people usually get
01:01:28.560 it so go ahead yeah well back in the day it was more prevalent with gay people
01:01:34.020 mm-hmm but since more people are doing more experimental things okay yeah you
01:01:41.400 know what I mean these are things that normally straight people didn't do you
01:01:46.440 if you catch my drift yeah okay so that has opened the door to it becoming more widespread with both
01:01:52.840 genders like the destinies of the world huh they're they're giving it to the the girls too huh
01:02:00.200 well yeah but like the girls are getting it from a specific you know what i'm saying yeah specific
01:02:05.080 act that they didn't do okay because you're saying you're more likely to get it from like backdoor
01:02:11.080 stuff yes yes but since that's more common now it's starting to level out a little bit
01:02:18.760 i'd love to hear i know we spoke um the one time briefly about prevention do you have any like tips
01:02:25.160 for people to prevent stds like if someone wants to be sexually active and i always use the example
01:02:31.480 if a guy or a girl comes to you and they say look i'm about to be a hoe we are about to hoe
01:02:36.440 we're going to host so hard what are your tips for people that want to be sexually active but
01:02:41.240 they don't want to catch an std okay there is no way to be completely guarantee something is lying
01:02:49.080 to you they're selling you a dream we we love to the most risky things you can do i closed
01:02:58.280 kissing with no saliva exchange because unfortunately there's many things you can get
01:03:03.720 from saliva like epstein-barr virus stuff like that cold sores but if you just avoid uh fluids
01:03:11.800 um really bad and you could get it that way if you also especially have bad dental health so
01:03:17.560 two people with bad dental health there's going to be more risk and then we have uh things like
01:03:25.960 you know you can hug and hand hold but remember there's certain things you can get from each
01:03:29.800 other's hands so like nothing is is maybe let's see okay anything orally i would say dental dams
01:03:41.720 are mandatory for the women and condoms for the men fortunately you got to have a barrier or
01:03:49.400 you're at risk and and parents and then you have natural lubrication and then none so you can use
01:03:56.280 a lot of artificial lubrication, water-based lubrication, and it's going to help, but it's
01:04:02.200 never going to be coming. And this is just not, it's not a safe route for someone who's with
01:04:09.120 someone that they don't know or trust. And is, are you probably equal? Okay.
01:04:18.960 Maybe a few, like maybe, no, I think it's probably, I would say those are actually,
01:04:24.260 Like, well, lots of people have by looking at someone that they're going to be safe when there's really no way you can tell.
01:04:31.420 As you know, like there's some things that you can be born with from your parents and they didn't know that they had it.
01:04:36.880 So like nobody knows unless you test.
01:04:41.240 And what would you say the chances of like from each sexual encounter, how likely is someone to catch something?
01:04:48.760 And this is just your experience.
01:04:50.880 um you gotta go like you gotta go by uh rep how easy is it this is just purely my thoughts on it
01:05:02.500 so like this is not scientific or anything this is just like my thought based on what i've seen
01:05:07.200 i would say if somebody is quick to sleep with you they're quick to sleep with other people
01:05:11.680 and there there's a higher likelihood that doesn't mean now you have to like i have to
01:05:17.600 like preface this like some people are quick to sleep with certain people and not other people
01:05:21.960 so you have to know like where you stand on that scale and assess after that do you know what i
01:05:27.440 found the um there's two types of people that get stds it seems like either the whores and the naive
01:05:33.860 so like half of the ones that like we've had call in they were like married guys that got it from
01:05:39.120 their wife yeah have you found that too or was that is that just something yes a lot lots of
01:05:45.820 married people give it to each other unfortunately yeah cheating is a big is a big problem i'm
01:05:51.800 looking at these tests on quest right now this is expensive uh the basic so you're saying the
01:06:01.120 the std screening test panel expanded its screen for seven sexually transmitted infections so
01:06:08.840 that's i think the one that people they recommend so that's gonna have hepatitis chlamydia gonorrhea
01:06:15.620 trick syphilis hiv one and two it doesn't even test for herpes look at that that's crazy wow
01:06:22.880 yeah and that's going to be another barriers people i'm just looking at quest because that's
01:06:28.420 a common one like people aren't going to want to pay this have you ever had to go to a scenario
01:06:33.260 where someone where a couple came in what that someone gave someone something to somebody and
01:06:43.100 they found out through the test and then something happened at the clinic?
01:06:47.480 I mean, as far, nothing, nothing violent or anything like that has happened,
01:06:51.740 but people get upset.
01:06:53.700 There was a few times where we got false do that and females.
01:06:57.260 I don't think this is a, this is like uncommon, unfortunately for both
01:07:02.120 genders when they have the opportunity to do something.
01:07:04.860 Was there?
01:07:05.540 It's all peoples now as culture shifts.
01:07:09.020 It is no politically correct over here.
01:07:10.980 Yes, I do.
01:07:11.700 all right for the people for the people you know that bacteria vaginitis is a sexually transmitted
01:07:18.140 infection now they're considering it that so like there's a lot of people who are getting it from
01:07:23.580 that too and they think it's just like i don't know they're like maybe they're sick or something
01:07:30.060 i don't know but there's hpv is that like on there too yeah that was on there i'm just i'm
01:07:36.980 just looking at basic boxes because you said a lot of them aren't tested for so i'm just i'm kind
01:07:42.120 of asking the question if like yeah if the well when you go into tests they usually only test for
01:07:48.260 the ones you mentioned except hiv they will not test for that unless you go to a specific clinic
01:07:56.660 that tests for hiv i mean they can ask for blood tests but doctors don't like to do it because i
01:08:03.040 don't think that they're legally allowed to give you the results I'm not sure about that I know
01:08:08.020 that clinics you have to do a specific test just to be allowed to give someone results for HIV
01:08:13.480 not for the other ones um were there were you surprised by the types of people that had STDs
01:08:21.460 like would there be certain ones that you just would never how accurate are the at-home STI
01:08:26.560 tests are those accurate um i would say
01:08:33.600 well we even the ones in clinic we've had false positives so i don't know like the percentage of
01:08:38.320 accuracy i would say none are completely accurate even if you get a positive or a negative i would
01:08:44.080 still retest every like three months or so just to be sure that's what i said i would say three
01:08:49.840 months like because based on the shows i've been doing it seems like if you get chlamydia untreated
01:08:55.600 for three months that could be pretty bad um that's you know do you agree with that i'm just
01:09:04.240 asking like best practices cause long-term infertility and i i'm just asking you know
01:09:11.040 like months ago when i talked to you i asked just regular girlfriends like have you ever been tested
01:09:15.840 for anything like for real and a hundred percent have not been tested for anything that is so
01:09:21.840 crazy for me I think I think I'm neurotic though so I think I know too much but I'm like that is
01:09:28.320 crazy imagine yeah so it's just not very common because people are still under the stigma that
01:09:34.920 only is there anything that you think is really um like a lot of women have or men have and they
01:09:41.640 don't know definitely a lot of money who's relatively healthy sleeps pretty well doesn't
01:09:47.560 have as much stress they're not going to show symptoms and they're going to be more likely to
01:09:51.460 just have it and maybe be a carrier but not express the symptoms themselves yeah that makes
01:09:57.700 sense and i would go to lots of patients homes with aids hiv lots of comorbidities and just by
01:10:06.920 the lifestyle of the person you could see whether they were gonna like live a long time even with
01:10:11.660 it or not and it's down to diet it's down to mindset it's down to like how happy you are like
01:10:17.380 at some of the happiest people I know have all the STDs in the world, but they're very happy and
01:10:24.420 they live just as long as everybody else for some reason. And then there'll be people who they just
01:10:30.060 have like a party lifestyle. They're not sleeping well. They're up all night. They're, you know,
01:10:35.100 stressed out about stuff. And then when they get something like this, it pushes them over the edge
01:10:38.780 and then they get all these bad symptoms. Yeah, that makes sense. Do you have any,
01:10:45.640 like would any do you have any crazy stories from your time at the clinic that you want to share
01:10:51.800 that are like interesting uh i there's one that comes to mind but i i know like you're like a more
01:10:58.000 like women are the problem but there's this one that like i always think about because it's kind
01:11:03.840 of like the you know like the the passport bro thing that has always been a thing passport bros
01:11:09.040 dawn of time i don't know why it got like a name recently but i'm talking about 20 something years
01:11:13.820 ago so we had this guy he made his money so he's very very wealthy has yachts everything like and
01:11:21.020 he you know passed through lots and lots of women but then he finally got something
01:11:26.460 and after he got something he went down south picked himself a nice young virgin bride latin
01:11:33.980 bride brought her over to the states got got her pregnant had the baby after the baby was like a
01:11:40.540 year or something said hey let's go get tested and of course she ended up having hiv and so did the
01:11:46.540 baby now i know like terrible story but like the the problem with that was if he had at least told
01:11:53.820 her after he gave it to her we could have prevented the baby from getting it which upsets me oh my
01:12:02.140 gosh so he didn't tell her and he knew he had it yeah yeah he knew like he was he was specifically
01:12:08.540 going there for that situation so because he wanted to have a family but i mean stuff like
01:12:13.180 that happens on the other side too it's just you know the the thing is i don't consider like men
01:12:19.580 are the problem or women are the problem i just think people who are narcissists are just growing
01:12:25.300 in numbers so people need to be careful it's the difference between hiv one and two one is like
01:12:32.460 earlier two is like later in the disease right or am i wrong i don't know if they i don't know if
01:12:38.780 i've never heard hiv no there's hsv one and hs oh yeah no i'm just looking at testing sites
01:12:44.780 and it says hiv one and two i was just looking at because you said it's not in like the general
01:12:49.660 panel so i was just kind of curious and it said hiv one and two testing so i was like i don't know
01:12:54.940 what that means if you're curious why it's called passport bros and people have a problem with it
01:13:00.460 is because it's because a lot of black men are passport bros now and like our women have a
01:13:07.180 problem with it so like white guys have been doing it forever but now that a lot of black guys are
01:13:12.220 doing it their passport bros and there's a problem with it because black women feel like they own
01:13:16.940 black men and we're supposed to stay here and deal with their garbage and we're choosing not to
01:13:23.500 well i mean this has been going on forever it's just maybe like they just figured out this was
01:13:29.020 an option you can't get mad you got to do what you got to do that's true i feel like your testing
01:13:35.660 should be like it should be regardless of who you're dating like because it should be mandatory
01:13:42.460 i think it should be mandatory for like every checkup yeah i agree i don't understand why don't
01:13:49.500 the doctors because i that's happened to me before where you go in for your yearly and i'm like yeah
01:13:55.020 i want everything and they're like everything i'm like everything give everything why did
01:14:01.100 they try to talk you out of it it's like don't shouldn't i have a feeling that like they need
01:14:06.060 to have a specific code to bill insurance so you have to say specific things for them to justify
01:14:12.300 the test so like maybe they lose out something if they have to or they don't want to make stuff up
01:14:19.340 or whatever but like they're definitely like discouraged from putting anything unless you say
01:14:26.940 i am like a very promiscuous person please test me for everything if you don't say that
01:14:34.060 then they always push back yeah i'm just neurotic it's not gonna be me what a microplasma genitalium
01:14:42.780 them. Is it UTI? Are some UTIs? Yes. STDs. Yes. And I know you did something on birth control
01:14:53.840 before, but a lot of women do not know that chronic UTIs or BV can be from just being on
01:15:02.320 birth control. Oh, really? That's interesting. Yeah. Just the act of being on birth control
01:15:07.660 ruins the microbiome in the i think the vaginal canal and maybe the throat and stuff like that so
01:15:15.920 just like how you can ruin your microbiome and your gut you can ruin it everywhere else
01:15:20.480 oh okay you did counseling services at your at your clinic too yes so when someone found out
01:15:30.340 would you ever have to counsel someone that had something permanent like hiv or something on how
01:15:34.520 of like disclose it to people or how to live a normal life and stuff i believe back when we were
01:15:41.560 doing it like you had to disclose but i don't believe you have to disclose anymore so you you
01:15:49.000 don't ever have to tell people and here's the thing yeah can you well just finish that thought but
01:15:55.560 this whole undetectable thing can you what after you finish the thought about the the disclosure
01:16:01.320 thing can you talk about this whole undetectable hiv thing like what is that about yeah that is when
01:16:08.040 you're on medication so the viral load is like low so it's past the detectable threshold that
01:16:16.280 it needs for the test to be positive you still have it but it's in a low number but you can
01:16:22.360 still spread it to people i mean it's a it's less likely but possible
01:16:31.320 So, like, because I just hope it's not a thing where, like, people that are undetectable are just, like, walking around like they don't have it at all.
01:16:40.720 Doug, MPA, we've talked about this.
01:16:42.740 I've interviewed people that have these STDs.
01:16:44.960 They don't care.
01:16:45.620 They spread them.
01:16:46.880 Exactly.
01:16:47.320 Like, there's no, your only choice, even if you're a responsible person, if you're sexually active every three, I would say three months, maybe six, if you're in a relationship and you're semi-confident and don't feel like blowing.
01:17:01.000 some of these are expensive my god like for me i could pay it but like for a normal person
01:17:06.760 paying like i mean this is going to be over a grand a year in testing you know
01:17:13.320 yeah and that's that's the other problem that a lot of people see especially if you're like
01:17:18.520 a poor college student you see how much it costs you're gonna lie and say yeah i've been tested
01:17:23.160 yeah like this is even for bv yeast infection and trick it's 269 that's expensive so like i mean
01:17:35.880 there's definitely some cheaper places you can go get it but like it's still expensive it's like i
01:17:41.720 think the lowest maybe like 50 per thing you can get it some of them i saw as low as 25 but like
01:17:49.960 specific things like 25 for chlamydia 25 for gonorrhea 25 so it's like it adds up pretty quickly
01:17:58.600 ah ah
01:18:02.680 ah can either be yeah i got nothing
01:18:08.680 man wait
01:18:13.480 um i did want to say there was it's very difficult for lesbian couples to give any
01:18:19.400 std to each other for like you know the blood ones right but we did have one lesbian that she
01:18:26.200 was able to give her partner's hiv somehow she was the only one we never figured out how she did it
01:18:35.960 but she was definitely quite capable i'll tell the story so i lived in texas for a while and um
01:18:45.080 this
01:18:46.600 this woman that worked with my mother
01:18:49.860 her sister
01:18:51.160 she'd go on
01:18:53.900 work shifts and
01:18:55.600 she'd meet guys and she'd sleep with them
01:18:57.840 and she got HIV
01:18:59.260 and you know the
01:19:01.540 San Antonio airport's
01:19:03.880 really big and has a couple of nice bars
01:19:05.840 so she would
01:19:07.840 dress up on a Friday night
01:19:09.460 Saturday night and just sit at the bar
01:19:11.680 and just wait for some guy to pick her up
01:19:14.400 and have sex with them unprotected and who was giving people hiv and she said yes someone gave
01:19:19.920 it to me so i'm gonna give it to people and she got arrested multiple times for giving people hiv
01:19:25.040 but she just she's like yeah they gave it to me i'm gonna give it to them so bc a girl in a
01:19:31.760 uh a little red dress at the bar at one of the bars in san antonio better watch out
01:19:37.120 um unfortunately that's pretty common once people get it and they realize people will give it to
01:19:45.040 them they just become like a villain yeah that's that's what i mean your choices are gonna be
01:19:52.080 your dating life is ruined or um like and you could sleep at night or you're gonna lie and a
01:20:00.560 lot of people are gonna pay i've interviewed people with herpes and i mean they're just
01:20:06.560 gonna spread it they don't care unfortunately i don't know if you've i'm guessing you've seen
01:20:12.240 similar things yeah oh of course yeah of course um most of my clients back in the day were gay men
01:20:20.080 and it was just understood in the community that everybody was gonna get it if they didn't already
01:20:25.360 have it so they just kind of accepted it if you will one of my one of my friends uh he he was like
01:20:34.720 yeah man you know he's gay he's just like yeah we're trying to de-stigmatize stds in the gay
01:20:41.520 community so we we're kind of more of a tolerant atmosphere i'm like what he's like yeah man yeah
01:20:48.400 and i'm just like okay there bud keep that all the way over there no thanks yeah i mean it doesn't
01:20:56.880 matter how gross it is you know it's just that's what they're gonna do so you gotta you gotta have
01:21:01.760 a plan for yourself and that's that's all you can really do so you'd say you'd say if you're
01:21:07.440 going to be sexually active condoms dental dams and testing every three months that's your
01:21:12.560 recommendation i mean yeah and remember like when i started working at this clinic i was very very
01:21:19.600 young very naive i didn't know anything about anything and then as soon as i found all this
01:21:25.040 stuff if i even went on a date i'm like the first thing we're gonna do is we're gonna go to this
01:21:28.720 clinic and of course most people don't want to do that for a first date but you know what that's
01:21:35.620 fine then there won't be one that's okay really what was your success rate like how many guys
01:21:41.040 were like okay because you're you're like a hot 18 year old guys will do a lot for that you know
01:21:47.540 I mean there was definitely people who who said yes like my husband he was like okay yeah but
01:21:53.680 from I will say this when I asked him were you tested he was like yeah of course and I'm like
01:21:58.280 okay then you'll have no problem going with me to this clinic and then he's like okay and then
01:22:02.920 i found out later like no he wasn't he was just trying to see if to speed this along
01:22:08.360 that that's how it is people young people are broke they're not going to pay for that stuff
01:22:14.200 unless you force them yeah totally doug mpa you got anything else for um it's always good to hear
01:22:23.480 from people that were actually there in these clinics um just one more thing so they said um
01:22:32.440 i've watched a couple of women on social media talk about um in miami it's some of the most
01:22:39.320 beautiful women you're ever gonna see are like in and out of the hiv clinic and are in and out of
01:22:45.640 the clinic getting hiv medication is there is there like a is it true that you can't tell by
01:22:53.480 looking looking at someone if they have like hiv or some kind of scd would you assume that a certain
01:23:00.360 like how can i put this here like they say that what's if a girl is like a little too pretty
01:23:07.400 she probably has something in miami like is there have you seen is it true that how much
01:23:18.180 how much trying to ask this question here um
01:23:22.080 i don't know how to ask so if you're asking if you can tell by looking at someone like if they're
01:23:32.360 very pretty assuming like that they all have no i haven't noticed that with very attractive women
01:23:37.880 now the only fans thing happened after i quit so i don't know if that jumped like the attractive
01:23:47.200 women getting that so i my my suspect should i suspect yes i yes if they've done only fans or
01:23:56.760 that type of work i suspect they probably have a higher chance now before the only fans happened
01:24:04.440 i didn't see very many beautiful women i'm just going to be honest but i did see very many
01:24:09.880 beautiful men if yes we very very like top tier looking men and then very very very wealthy men
01:24:22.440 extremely wealthy men and extremely beautiful men for the women i would say average looking to me
01:24:31.000 yeah i'd guess mids because beautiful women don't have to put out as much
01:24:35.960 yeah yeah but mids have to put out to try to get the results that the beautiful women i know but
01:24:41.560 that's the point the middle put out you know more so what you're saying about powerful men
01:24:48.280 and beautiful men is why you see you know one one basketball player's wife goes to like a like
01:24:56.920 another another celebrity because odds are she has something and they both have something i understand
01:25:03.800 i'm saying like it's like a circle because if you like usher's given two women herpes and they've
01:25:09.880 sued him for like like 1.5 million dollars so you can avoid that by just like sticking with women
01:25:16.600 that are in the circle that you know have something wait i had a thought you can see
01:25:20.600 if someone has herpes by telling them you have herpes and watching their face
01:25:26.600 and then being like okay just kidding i don't i mean that's mean but yeah that'll work
01:25:33.240 and then just being like because if they have it they'll be like oh i have it too
01:25:39.240 i had it and that's because the guy that a guy that um had it i interviewed he said that like
01:25:44.520 that happened to him once where the girl told him and i was and then he was like oh that's okay i
01:25:49.240 have it too and i'm like that's a great way to go about it yeah gotcha i had a woman one
01:25:56.360 time and she's like yeah uh i just want to tell you i may have herpes and i'm like you
01:26:01.640 may have herpes what does that mean she's i took a test and and it was inconclusive
01:26:07.080 i said yeah i said goodbye
01:26:13.500 yeah no no thanks so okay cool well thanks so much um we'd loved if you ever free friday sign
01:26:25.780 or no nope i guess no one wants to talk about syphilis and hepatitis yeah we might get a
01:26:31.640 gynecologist on on um in a couple weeks guys we had one um email me and if if you guys worked in
01:26:39.920 the health care the ones with the real answers in my opinion so um okay well i think that's really
01:26:47.180 it that we got for the show today um doug mpa you got any final thoughts um talking to health
01:26:54.700 care providers it makes you want to live in a bubble you know like the little medical bubbles
01:26:59.300 there's so much stuff out there man you got to be careful and you just
01:27:05.200 you got to avoid getting one of those gifts that keep on giving man like you have to guys protect
01:27:11.820 yourselves and just assume that a lot of these women have something and just wrap it up guys
01:27:17.760 come on you got to do it with time like he used to say back in the 2000s wrap it up and here's
01:27:23.340 the thing if you start wrapping it up you wrap it up all the time you'll get used to it
01:27:27.920 just wrap it up guys yeah but guys don't worry you could still get an std so
01:27:34.160 you might as well just go rocks you can get one anyway
01:27:36.900 i'm just kidding i'm just kidding don't do that guys
01:27:41.900 yay it's like yeah um anyways my final thoughts are that's disgusting um
01:27:53.060 but you can't have sex without the risk of stds in 2025 because there's no virgin bride so
01:28:00.060 i would just assume that everyone has something that's the best way to protect your
