Pearl - The JustPearlyThings Studio!

00:00:00.320 what up guys welcome to the just pearly things youtube channel of today we are going to give you

00:00:06.080 a tour of the studio in london before we start don't forget to subscribe to the channel and

00:00:11.760 ring that notification bell and if you like this tour you should check out the other house tours

00:00:16.080 we have on this channel um where we show my parents house growing up um the new compound

00:00:21.440 my dad built and and um our new studio in chicago so but this is our london one as you

00:00:29.360 guys know my goal here is i really want to have content houses in each city so we're trying to

00:00:34.720 leave this one here even when i go to the u.s um this is one of the biggest reasons that we got the

00:00:40.880 apartment was we felt london um space can be tight and we this living room it kind of looks small

00:00:48.400 like everyone says it looks smaller it's not that small we just have a ton of in it um but

00:00:53.760 But what we liked about this is it had the width for Blessing to like set up all of his cameras and whatever.

00:01:00.640 So here, this is where I usually sit in a panel.

00:01:03.740 Then we'll put chairs in the back if it's too full.

00:01:06.720 You know, you go like this.

00:01:07.580 What up, guys?

00:01:08.240 Welcome to Just Pearly Things YouTube channel.

00:01:10.280 And welcome to the pregame.

00:01:12.820 The intro.

00:01:14.280 We got, Blessing could tell you more about the equipment.

00:01:17.220 But he hung, this is tension rods.

00:01:21.400 So it doesn't drill.

00:01:22.920 like what's nice about those is um they don't drill into the walls or anything okay the ceilings

00:01:29.140 we did soundproof the ceilings yeah um sorry management I don't know well we'll fix it we'll

00:01:37.280 fix it later but over here this is like um another sound thing so normally if this was open it would

00:01:43.700 go right to the kitchen but because we needed it to look like a you know more of a studio um

00:01:51.120 yeah studio lights there that's pretty much it show them this part i'll walk over there

00:01:57.040 this is where blessing or king sits whoever's producing that day so

00:02:02.320 blessing should do another tour where he tells you the equipment because i don't really know

00:02:07.260 what a lot of this stuff does but this is the what we plug the mics into this is for so it's

00:02:13.440 an 8k right this is the switcher yeah yeah or 4k yeah and then blessing just went crazy

00:02:20.940 with the monitors uh we keep the drinks here so when we have guests you know we just let them

00:02:27.320 get drinks out of there and this is actually it is a penthouse so there is like a kitchen um

00:02:34.600 you know we try not to have everyone cook just because it gets messy but

00:02:38.300 you know this is the kitchen kitchen um there's a washer and dryer in here so yeah this is and

00:02:50.380 And the thing in London is the washer and dryers, like, they don't always have them,

00:02:55.380 like in the U.S.

00:02:58.380 This is the fridge, microwave, oven.

00:03:05.380 Do you want to do outside first, or should we do the inside?

00:03:09.380 Inside.

00:03:10.380 So, come this way.

00:03:14.380 This is, we'll keep cups and drinks, that sort of thing there.

00:03:19.380 whiteboard to discuss ideas we also do videos with it this is where our intern

00:03:23.940 sits so she has a little desk there and then all of around the apartment you'll

00:03:29.340 notice you can go right outside there's a whole balcony that goes all the way

00:03:32.520 around initially we made this a reaction area and we put up all of these turn

00:03:39.480 around to show them the we put up these like curtains to try to soundproof the

00:03:43.440 hallway and make it a third room but it didn't work very well it was kind of a

00:03:48.440 failure of an idea so that's why we put this stuff up was to like soundproof it initially but

00:03:55.560 we end up just wasting money but you know it happens um this is where our editor sits

00:04:00.940 so here's another desk here um we are getting really full we might have to put another desk

00:04:07.120 here or make this a third one um but when we do the dating shows we'll pull this desk or we'll 0.95

00:04:13.940 put all the table in there so we can do dating shows. We'll do the one-on-one interviews 0.94

00:04:17.800 here. We call this the Whale Studio. So we want to put pictures of whales on the side,

00:04:23.060 but this was all really expensive to set up. So, you know, send a super thanks if you'd

00:04:28.980 like to see a very nice, beautiful, like we can replace those with a painting of a whale

00:04:35.500 for no reason at all. We also, Blessing plays piano and I like to record music. So we have

00:04:41.320 keyboard here we have speaker and this is like the second reaction area so we

00:04:50.020 can do reactions here there's a batch do they want to see the bathroom I mean

00:04:55.720 there's a bathroom in there if you guys care but so this is like just a ton of

00:05:00.340 closet space which is one of the reasons we got this apartment was see that was

00:05:04.600 my old keyboard blessing and like it was just because there was so much space for

00:05:09.280 closet and my idea is so I'm moving out of here I am here now but you know I am

00:05:18.280 moving out so this is going to be a third studio too it sort of is already

00:05:24.100 so I have this this is like a room and this is where I do reactions so I'll

00:05:29.920 just you know stream or whatever I think they took the camera but normally there's

00:05:34.300 a camera there light do you we're probably gonna move it this way though

00:05:38.960 right yeah we don't know yet um is a full closet so again this was really nice because you get all

00:05:47.040 of this like closet space um you know here it's just my clothes but and then you know here too

00:05:56.320 more clothes um i'll show them one bathroom they all kind of look like this there's three they're

00:06:03.840 just this is the biggest one so there's a tub there shower there you know yes now

00:06:12.000 the coolest part in my opinion about this whole thing is one there's a bunch

00:06:18.540 of sliding doors like this and you get to just go outside so

00:06:25.640 and then we go out here to the whole balcony area. Show them the view.

00:06:45.640 That's been under construction all year.

00:06:49.640 Balcony.

00:06:57.640 Let's take L.A.T. out here a second.

00:07:08.640 Go that way, go that way.

00:07:10.640 um yeah so here whole thing

00:07:22.000 yeah and we could sit here when i'm here i just think about my problems

00:07:31.440 be like how can i fix our thumbnails this is a really great place to ponder

00:07:38.320 or eat, you know, because we did use the kitchen table for blessing setup, so that is one thing

00:07:45.380 I do miss, having a kitchen table inside. More view. See, this is really pretty right there, I think.

00:07:53.200 And this goes all the way around, so we'll be back, I'm going to show them the view there.

00:08:16.200 yeah so now we're back to my room we started to go outside that's pretty much it right blessing

00:08:32.820 yeah yeah so you know our idea is we could do a bunch of these in like different cities so um

00:08:41.480 i really like it because it gives you like the home like i like making videos where you feel

00:08:48.540 like feel like you're going into someone's house that aren't like they're professional but you

00:08:53.300 still feel like comfortable there so that was kind of the vibe that we were trying to set up

00:08:58.740 okay um like the video guys and you know if you guys have any ideas for the studio the next studio

00:09:05.600 in Chicago. Let me know in the comments. Check out the other videos of the other studio tours

00:09:12.160 we have on the channel. Like the video on your way out and I'll talk to you next time.
