Pearl - This Is How The Young Turks Are Being DESTROYED By A Woman's Ego ｜ Pearl Daily

00:00:00.000 Now, I have said repeatedly, and I've said this over and over and over again, that modern women will latch on to a man's success, use that man's skills and platform to build themselves up, take the shorter route to success and then quit and burn bridges on the way out. 0.99

00:00:20.980 That is the playbook in media. Now, what tends to happen is, again, the women have a tendency to think that they're more useful to the organization than they are. Now, an example of this is Candace Owens and Brett Cooper recently are the most visible cases of this happening. Both Candace and Brett were part of the Daily Wire and Candace could not keep her mouth shut when it came to a certain group of people. She ended up getting fired. Now, it's not smart to talk about that group of people. 0.63

00:00:50.980 That one of your bosses belongs to. For example, if I hired someone and they did anti-white stuff, I just don't know if that's your best chess move. Do you know what I mean? I just don't know if that's the best way to go about it.

00:01:06.040 Now, Brett Cooper left and she didn't really give a reason, but she did a lot of passive aggressive and underhanded things on the way out that painted the Daily Wire in a bad light. Both of these women, Ben Shapiro, their former CEO, Jeremy Boring, thank yous for their success. They should have been thankful, but they did not do such a thing.

00:01:28.280 Okay, now, this isn't just an issue with right-wing content creators. Recently, Francesca Fiortini, a super-left comedian and political commentator, had a falling out with the Young Turks co-creator Cenk Ugar.

00:01:46.540 Now, Francesca started as a contributor at the Young Turks back in 2016 and started hosting her on podcast in 2018. Kyle says, congrats for getting monetized. Thank you so much, Kyle.

00:01:59.940 Now, this is another case where a woman wouldn't be where she was if it wasn't for a man's hard work. Another case is a Pixie Destiny situation. Pixie was obviously blowing Destiny for clout. She thought it was her hard work, but really, she was just clout farming. And then now she's suing him for leaking her news. 0.95

00:02:22.220 Now, after the election of Donald Trump earlier this year, Cenk slammed the Democrats for how they handled the election. He criticized Kamala Harris as a candidate, and he criticized the left-wing mainstream media and began to pivot his platform, including having conversations with right-wing pundits.

00:02:42.860 Three months ago, he appeared on stage with Charlie Kirk at Turning Point USA event, and they had a spirited conversation about the election and the future of politics in the U.S., and Francesca didn't like that one bit.

00:02:58.700 Cenk has announced that I am no longer allowed to appear on the damage report with John Iyadarola based on the disagreements with the Young Turks' main host.

00:03:10.760 And yes, calling Cenk a bitch for engaging with Dr. Phil, a guy who's joining the ICE raids and innocent people. 0.80

00:03:18.440 So let me get this. Oh, this is so funny. This woman thought that she could call her boss a bitch and still be employed. 1.00

00:03:26.760 How did she make it this far in life? I'm going to Google her age because her age. Oh my gosh, she's 41. 0.99

00:03:36.400 She's 41, and she thought she could do that. That is insane. Okay, so we're going to react to, and I want you guys, we're going to look at his reasoning for this, of the timeline of things. 0.55

00:03:51.700 Jessica Fiorentini asked us at TYT to take her podcast habituation.

00:03:56.880 Now, I'd like to preface. I'd like to give one preface. Oh, wait, is this? Let me double check that this is on. I want to give one preface.

00:04:06.480 I am not the Young Turks fan. Okay, you guys are saying that she's hot. Okay, guys, you can be an attractive woman and not call your boss a bitch.

00:04:17.380 I don't know. I mean, I'm not... 0.98

00:04:20.380 Recently, Francesca Fiorentini asked TYT to take her podcast habituation room off the network, and we happily...

00:04:29.340 It's like women ask for divorces, right? And the men are like, okay, see ya. 1.00

00:04:33.440 That's the equivalent of this nobody liberal commentator going to this guy who made a $50 million company and thinking she has any leverage in this situation.

00:04:47.440 And today, I'm going to take Francesca off the network entirely.

00:04:52.540 This is so funny.

00:04:53.980 Any of the TYT shows.

00:04:55.980 So I want you guys to know why I'm doing that and how this whole situation isn't really about Francesca.

00:05:01.820 It's about TYT, our community, and what we stand for.

00:05:05.840 And so we're for open minds and open hearts.

00:05:09.140 And so I want all of you to know that, and I want to build a community that believes in that and invites people in that believe in the same things.

00:05:19.340 And by the way, if you don't believe in the same things, then you say, no, no, no.

00:05:22.140 I have a strict ideology, and I have no open mind about that.

00:05:25.980 No problem.

00:05:26.780 There are tons of shows out there.

00:05:28.440 So, first of all, we've had some disagreements.

00:05:30.740 I certainly have with some of the far left, but I think they've been relatively small.

00:05:36.140 But if you think that they've been large, no problem.

00:05:38.420 So they've been around the issue of crime.

00:05:41.100 Did crime rise between 2019 and 2023?

00:05:44.000 Well, that's a fact.

00:05:45.140 It did.

00:05:46.420 But it's okay.

00:05:47.400 We have different interpretations of it.

00:05:49.040 That's not an issue at all.

00:05:50.160 But we certainly are against police abuse, and we fought against it, I would argue, at least as much as any show on the planet, and perhaps a lot more.

00:06:00.780 And I think great pride that Benjamin Trump, among others, said that Trayvon Martin would not have gotten anywhere near the national coverage that he did if it wasn't for the young trucks.

00:06:09.460 You see, again, I don't like this guy.

00:06:13.100 But here's the thing.

00:06:14.640 Men can put aside their differences, right?

00:06:17.800 And they can still respect a guy that they don't agree with at all and say, do you know what?

00:06:23.560 He put his hard work and dedication into this, and he built that.

00:06:28.240 Where women, we just don't have that tendency. 1.00

00:06:32.120 We have the tendency to say, I don't like you. 0.99

00:06:35.860 Let me destroy your life. 0.99

00:06:37.300 Do you know what I mean? 0.99

00:06:38.180 Like, all right, so we'll keep going.

00:06:40.160 So, nevertheless, we can have disagreements on specific policy issues that we do on slogans and frame meetings that are, for example, defundable police, Latinx.

00:06:49.220 These are normal disagreements within any community.

00:06:52.160 And I certainly would never want to shut that down because we're, again, for open minds.

00:06:56.380 And, of course, we've had some disagreements on the issue of trans.

00:06:59.160 Let me just transgenderize. 0.94

00:07:00.980 Let me just say quickly what my position is because a lot of people outside of the network have been misleading about this.

00:07:07.900 So, I'm for 100% constitutional rights for transgender Americans because why they're Americans, just like them.

00:07:13.920 Oh, my gosh.

00:07:15.840 Lord help this country.

00:07:17.920 Like the rest of us.

00:07:19.100 And they should have the same exact rights.

00:07:20.860 They should be protected in bathrooms. 0.99

00:07:22.600 They should definitely be allowed to serve in the military.

00:07:24.420 And I happen to say that they should be allowed to play, transgender girls should be allowed to play in women's and girls.

00:07:31.920 Oh, you guys want me to make the screen bigger?

00:07:34.780 Okay.

00:07:35.200 Let me see if I can do that.

00:07:37.620 Let's see.

00:07:39.180 Disagreement.

00:07:40.220 But that's, again, not the issue here.

00:07:42.700 I think what the issue is, is when others, among the issues, is when others say only my opinion is the correct one, the moral one.

00:07:52.200 Everyone who disagrees with me is unintelligent, immoral, collaborator, etc.

00:07:57.320 Well, we'll get to the specifics on Francesca in a second.

00:07:59.480 I'm saying that generally.

00:08:01.100 And that they speak for the left.

00:08:03.360 Well, let's find out if they do speak for the left.

00:08:05.220 This is a little bit of Francesca, a little bit of Emma Vigeland from Majority Report.

00:08:09.240 And spliced in is the actual facts about what the American people think.

00:08:13.160 And interestingly, what Democratic voters think.

00:08:16.080 First, let's watch this.

00:08:17.040 I'm a big Messi fan.

00:08:18.540 So, but let me just tell you this to you.

00:08:20.280 Answer my question.

00:08:20.900 Would you allow him, if he said, I'm a woman, to play in the American way now?

00:08:24.560 Yes, yes, yes, right now.

00:08:26.460 Hell yeah.

00:08:26.880 Are you kidding me?

00:08:28.080 Transgender female athletes in women's sports, only 18% of the country says that they should be, in fact, allowed to participate in women's sports.

00:08:37.380 Your argument is really bad on this, and you're out of your depth.

00:08:39.700 You're correct that trans women should be able to compete in women's sports, but your argument for it is just scientifically and factually incorrect.

00:08:43.760 I'm actually not bad about this.

00:08:44.860 I'm 100% right on this.

00:08:46.120 I don't give a s*** to scientific explanations.

00:08:48.840 People, if they identify as a woman, get to compete in sports. 0.98

00:08:51.460 If that's not fair in the short term for a variety of little competitions, I don't give a s***. 0.91

00:08:56.380 And I mean, my goodness gracious.

00:08:57.780 Now, this is the one thing I agree with the Democrats on.

00:09:01.740 Women have been begging men to play in their sports. 0.99

00:09:06.540 I say, I say, let them.

00:09:08.300 Women voted for this. 0.98

00:09:09.740 And I'll tell you guys, you know what?

00:09:11.400 I played volleyball in England, and I was at a tournament that allowed this.

00:09:17.040 And do you know who was the first one championing for these women to, these women to stay in the tournament?

00:09:23.880 Women. 0.81

00:09:24.640 Women. 0.81

00:09:25.440 So, yeah.

00:09:31.740 79%, you rarely get 79% of the country to agree on anything. 1.00

00:09:37.500 Because the societal interests of including trans people in society trumps stupid competition. 1.00

00:09:42.720 Full stop. 1.00

00:09:43.460 So, I'm right about this.

00:09:44.500 You're wrong about this.

00:09:45.520 You'd let Lionel Messi play in the women's national football team and destroy women's football forever. 1.00

00:09:50.220 You'd let Usain Bolt.

00:09:51.220 I mean, it'd be very difficult to get a ticket, which would suck.

00:09:54.600 I want to do a little checklist here.

00:09:55.920 You'd let Usain Bolt compete as a sprinter in the American women's Olympic team? 0.98

00:10:00.380 Yes.

00:10:01.000 Okay.

00:10:01.500 You would let Floyd Mayweather compete as a boxer in the women's American boxing team?

00:10:06.660 Yeah.

00:10:06.980 Opposing them in women's sports. 0.89

00:10:08.360 You get 67% of Democrats, so two-thirds there.

00:10:11.120 You get 64% of independents, so you get about two-thirds there.

00:10:14.260 So, I'm right about this.

00:10:15.340 You're wrong about this.

00:10:16.520 Okay.

00:10:16.800 Generally speaking, if you want to say that you're right about something, sure.

00:10:20.900 Everybody has their own opinions, and it's their opinions.

00:10:23.320 That's why they think that they're right.

00:10:25.140 It's another thing to say that you speak for the left.

00:10:27.220 As you just saw there, 67% of Democrats have a position that is actually to the right of

00:10:32.560 mine.

00:10:32.800 I say that trans girls should be allowed to play in girls' sports in high school.

00:10:36.820 67% of Democrats say no, not allowed in any women's sports. 0.96

00:10:41.260 So, I'll work on my Democratic brothers and sisters, and I'll try to get them to my position

00:10:46.540 on that.

00:10:47.400 Nothing wrong with disagreements.

00:10:48.780 And if Emma, Francesca, and others can convince 79% of the nation that is opposed to that to

00:10:56.020 come over to that side, fantastic, happy to have it, okay?

00:10:59.720 So, I think where the issue comes in is when things get personal.

00:11:02.880 So, we got three rules, generally speaking, on air here at TYT that are relatively bright

00:11:08.340 lines.

00:11:08.720 So, one is, and I say relatively, I'll explain that in a second.

00:11:12.160 One is no lying.

00:11:13.660 Two is no threats of physical violence.

00:11:16.220 And number three is don't denigrate personally the other hosts in the network over and over

00:11:22.200 and over again.

00:11:22.940 And I say relatively bright lines because it should be relatively easy to follow.

00:11:26.460 But I get that people have disagreements about, hey, what's a lie?

00:11:29.060 Are what they say about crime stats a lie or not?

00:11:32.340 No, I'm not gonna nitpick that.

00:11:34.040 And we get into heated debates from time to time, me and Ben Gleib in the past, me, Ben

00:11:39.160 Manquist, me, Michael Schor, etc.

00:11:41.400 And I love those debates.

00:11:43.100 And somebody might cross a line and say something they shouldn't know, but we usually hug it out.

00:11:47.140 And so, I'm not nitpicking here.

00:11:48.860 What we're looking for is, hey, are we all rolling gently in the same direction or are

00:11:54.620 some of us drilling holes in the boat?

00:11:56.460 And so, are you doing it over and over again on purpose to try to-

00:12:01.720 Yeah.

00:12:02.660 So, I think that's fair, right?

00:12:04.720 I think that's a fair assessment.

00:12:07.560 Don't blatantly insult your boss, right?

00:12:11.320 I mean, I think that should be doable, I think.

00:12:15.060 Can she do it?

00:12:16.020 How do you create an issue?

00:12:17.160 Or even if you're not trying to do it, you are creating an issue by constantly attacking

00:12:21.200 our own.

00:12:21.980 And I have applied this two other times, which I'll tell you about in a minute.

00:12:26.180 This all started, unfortunately, when I went on Francesca's show.

00:12:29.880 And we had what seemed like a normal conversation and debate about this issue until it made a

00:12:36.340 turn.

00:12:36.660 And this is part of the turn.

00:12:37.760 Let me show you.

00:12:38.660 I'm reminded of the book by, I think his name is Michael Schneider on tyranny.

00:12:43.000 And he wrote, it's like 20 lessons from the 20th century about authoritarianism and fascism.

00:12:48.380 And one of the things that has come to mind when you say, my strategy will protect us is

00:12:53.720 he has this chapter, I'm gonna bring it up, the first part of it called Do Not Obey in

00:12:57.340 Advance.

00:12:57.920 And it's, he writes, most of the power of authoritarianism is freely given.

00:13:02.080 In times like these, individuals think ahead about what a more repressive government will

00:13:05.660 want and then offer themselves without being asked.

00:13:08.960 A citizen who adapts in this way is teaching power what it can do.

00:13:13.540 In other words, you don't have to do the sort of crackdown on the left around speech because

00:13:18.840 I'm gonna do it for you.

00:13:20.320 Or you don't have to come to me.

00:13:22.680 Again, you're misstating it.

00:13:23.980 I'm doing the exact opposite.

00:13:25.640 You're cracking down by saying, Cenk, you're out of bounds. 1.00

00:13:28.940 So you should stop your stupid opinion. 1.00

00:13:31.100 And because you're implicating me. 1.00

00:13:33.120 I can't believe that a guy who I like did, used to admire and who I thought had a lot of

00:13:38.120 fight is trying to scratch the back of people who absolutely would never do the same for

00:13:44.920 them.

00:13:45.760 So we just spent an hour and a half of me explaining how I'm not scratching their back.

00:13:49.700 I'm trying to get-

00:13:50.200 But I can show you-

00:13:51.020 They're being with us on things we believe in and we've always believed it.

00:13:53.940 So this is a female commentator saying she wants him to give conservatives the silent 0.65

00:14:00.460 treatment.

00:14:01.520 And it's just crazy to me that she, his employee, thinks she has a better strategy than the boss

00:14:09.000 here.

00:14:10.220 At least the trains will run on time.

00:14:13.160 The trains running on time, presumably a reference to Germany.

00:14:16.580 I'm the collaborator.

00:14:17.640 So they don't just call us Nazis, they call each other Nazis. 0.86

00:14:24.700 Oh, they just eat themselves, yeah.

00:14:29.880 Scratching the right wings back by having my opinion.

00:14:32.660 The opinion I've always had, and the opinion I've had for years, and you guys have seen for

00:14:36.160 years on the show.

00:14:37.800 But if you don't agree with Francesca in that particular case, and some other folks in the

00:14:43.860 extreme left, well, you're not allowed to have that opinion.

00:14:47.260 That is immoral by definition.

00:14:49.100 And how dare you disagree with them?

00:14:51.060 That makes you a right winger, a collaborator, etc.

00:14:53.180 But if you say, hey, Cenk, look, I know that she's quoting someone collaborating with

00:14:58.020 an authoritarian government and saying that that's what you're doing and you're helping

00:15:01.080 the right wing.

00:15:01.940 And then she's not open to the idea of, hey, maybe there's a different strategy and a different

00:15:07.100 opinion on this.

00:15:08.140 That gets us to the same result protecting trans folks or whichever topic we're talking about.

00:15:12.560 Okay, and at that point, I certainly hadn't done anything.

00:15:16.820 I think that that was, I didn't appreciate that, but that's okay.

00:15:20.800 We kept going, and she's been on the network since.

00:15:23.820 Then she started to do more and more and more, and it got more and more personal.

00:15:29.420 So after that discussion, this happened.

00:15:32.500 I like that we can both be very Mediterranean about it and get super mad, but then rain it 0.99

00:15:37.000 in and be cool.

00:15:38.040 And then be like, we're like, yeah, we're just gonna yell, and then we're gonna be fine,

00:15:41.380 and then we're gonna get over it.

00:15:42.600 So that's the kind of, that's the kind of beer I like to have.

00:15:46.280 Yes, thank you.

00:15:47.640 Two days later.

00:15:48.820 I mean, I mean, I have my own thoughts on like why he's doing it.

00:15:51.440 I think.

00:15:53.400 God, do you know, this girl has it made, right? 1.00

00:15:56.060 She gets to talk for a living, which is the best job ever, right? 0.98

00:15:59.780 And all she had to do, all she had to do was not insult her boss.

00:16:06.360 She could basically talk smack about whoever, and she had one job.

00:16:13.200 Do not attack your boss.

00:16:15.680 That's it.

00:16:16.440 You know, if you think your brain was broken by the 2024 election, I think we're looking

00:16:21.260 at a case where someone's brain was broken even harder.

00:16:24.820 Okay, so but look, guys, if she had said that about another host, I probably would have

00:16:28.980 drawn the line there.

00:16:29.880 But it's about me, so I wanted to give more leeway. 0.93

00:16:32.280 My brain is broken.

00:16:33.120 And by the way, that's still, okay, the first time she's getting super personal, collaborator,

00:16:38.940 maybe that's a political opinion.

00:16:40.440 Now we're a broken brain, even though we were supposed to have a beer, and we were supposed

00:16:43.960 to hash it out and be okay afterwards, but apparently not okay afterwards.

00:16:47.620 But then that was the tip of the iceberg.

00:16:49.280 She continued again and again.

00:16:51.320 Here's the next one.

00:16:52.000 I do think it's sad that even though they allow people like us into the fold and the

00:16:56.380 fray, they refuse to learn from us or listen to us.

00:16:59.900 And I think that when you have been doing this work for so long, and you still cannot grasp

00:17:07.180 the idea of intersectionality, how race and gender and class all intertwine with one another

00:17:14.060 and how the right, the fascist goal is to divide us based on these lines.

00:17:19.620 Like, I don't even know.

00:17:20.960 I don't know, like, who you are.

00:17:22.760 Like, I'm not even, I don't even know if you're smart.

00:17:25.500 You know what I mean?

00:17:26.120 I don't even know.

00:17:27.440 First of all, I don't know who your political mentors are.

00:17:29.720 I don't know who you look up to.

00:17:31.440 I don't know what your touchstones are.

00:17:33.040 I don't know if you know your history in terms of, like, civil rights, women's rights,

00:17:37.660 gay rights struggle in this country.

00:17:39.220 I don't even, I don't know anything.

00:17:41.740 Yeah.

00:17:42.080 See, this is what he had to do.

00:17:43.580 He's like, I gave this woman a lot of rights and now he's got to take it away.

00:17:47.700 She's doubling down. 1.00

00:17:49.580 So again, she got this big ego because they put her on the network.

00:17:53.860 She thought she was amazing and awesome.

00:17:56.120 She thought it was her own hard work and not the guy that brought her up.

00:18:01.080 And she just keeps digging this hole. 1.00

00:18:04.060 I call into question all of that.

00:18:06.000 It sounds like you are just an opportunistic mouthpiece who wants clicks time and time again.

00:18:12.860 Okay, so obviously it's getting deeply personal there, opportunistic mouthpiece. 0.89

00:18:17.680 Can't grasp simple concepts, not smart.

00:18:20.700 But guys, and I'm not angry.

00:18:23.200 Look, people have different opinions and they want to make it personal.

00:18:26.260 It is what it is, right?

00:18:28.120 I'm more sad about it.

00:18:29.900 I'll say something at the end about that.

00:18:32.100 But to me, the attitude that is toxic, and that's what I don't want at TYT.

00:18:38.180 I want to build a community that is really open to conversations, is they refuse to learn from us.

00:18:45.220 So the idea is, well, obviously I'm right and the only moral center of the universe.

00:18:50.380 And I already told them that, and this guy wouldn't even learn from me.

00:18:54.780 It's just such a deeply arrogant thought that if someone disagrees with you, they need to be re-educated.

00:19:03.240 And maybe they haven't read any books at all.

00:19:05.740 Okay, did she stop there?

00:19:07.480 Of course not.

00:19:08.240 And yes, as I told Cenk, I do feel very implicated.

00:19:11.520 I have felt implicated by their takes, specifically around crime and political.

00:19:16.980 Okay, look at this guy.

00:19:18.820 Guys, we're going to do a show later this week that's called Men's Poker Face. 1.00

00:19:24.100 Like when women say wild shit and they just have to put on a poker face. 1.00

00:19:28.320 So if you guys have thoughts on the best, like, the worst thing you've ever heard that you had to put a poker face on, call in. 1.00

00:19:35.080 But look at this guy.

00:19:36.400 Freaking hilarious.

00:19:37.820 So funny.

00:19:39.040 She just keeps going.

00:19:40.400 She keeps, she's like, got a shovel. 0.79

00:19:43.060 And she's just digging it further and further.

00:19:45.760 Policing in years past, definitely by this new heel turn since Trump's re-election.

00:19:52.140 And absolutely by the misrepresentation of the Los Angeles fires and who the responsibility lies on.

00:20:02.120 It is, it is enraging, to say the least.

00:20:06.100 The Los Angeles fires are not the responsibility of the mayor.

00:20:10.940 They're apparently the responsibility of Republicans.

00:20:13.020 I don't know.

00:20:13.500 I don't know what her thought on that is.

00:20:15.240 And I don't know why she's enraged by that.

00:20:16.960 But that's okay.

00:20:17.680 Apparently, I've taken a heel turn.

00:20:19.260 By the way, all those folks, not just Francesca, but others that told you were right wing.

00:20:22.620 You watch the show every single day, you see us criticizing Trump and Elon Musk over and over and over and over again, telling you how they're gonna do a $4.5 trillion robbery in those tax cuts.

00:20:31.840 Yesterday, we talked about how they're already hammering Social Security and costing good Americans what they need from Social Security, how they're gonna cut $800 billion from Medicaid, how there's a series of robberies on the way, etc.

00:20:45.580 But it's okay, let's just simplify things and say anyone who disagrees with us a little bit is a right winger.

00:20:51.120 But the good news is, at least Francesca will not be implicated anymore.

00:20:55.380 And I never understood that, because she's been saying this for a long time now, that she was implicated by us.

00:21:00.840 Then why keep taking the check?

00:21:02.220 And it's not a big check.

00:21:03.500 And Francesca has had a career before us.

00:21:06.420 She talks about that.

00:21:07.280 Of course, of course she did.

00:21:08.620 And she'll have a career after us.

00:21:10.080 There's no problem with that.

00:21:10.920 It's so crazy, because she doesn't realize how much bigger he is than her.

00:21:16.340 I don't like him, right?

00:21:17.940 I'm not a fan.

00:21:19.480 But he's world famous.

00:21:22.020 He is a very famous, like, Young Turks is worth like $50 million.

00:21:27.220 That's a lot of money.

00:21:28.460 And she thinks, she literally thinks because she talks at the same network, somehow they're equal.

00:21:36.160 I don't know how a lot of you guys feel about your ex-wives.
