00:00:00.000 purpose of departure moving to the u.s for work that'll be 500 000 what i don't have that then
00:00:10.660 you're not going anywhere of canada being the nation that is helping to define and shape a new
00:00:20.360 world order. Look, if you're a conservative in Canada, your vote doesn't matter. I'm sorry to
00:00:32.400 tell you. And I'm not saying it to be dramatic. I'm saying it because what just happened in this
00:00:37.540 country proves it. The liberal government didn't win a majority. They bought one after the election
00:00:44.020 through backroom deals with politicians who don't even know what the word integrity means. 1.00
00:00:48.820 I think that the floor crossers didn't do so out of some deep political principle. 1.00
00:00:53.260 They did so because they wanted a shortcut into government. 1.00
00:00:56.020 And watching Matt Jenner who would go on this junket with the prime minister,
00:00:59.120 those are things that the sitting party in government can offer a potential floor crosser to entice them over. 0.92
00:01:05.200 And to top that off, Annie, I'm hearing from our colleagues that the hush has not died, 0.99
00:01:11.560 that there could be even more floor crossers. 0.94
00:01:14.080 there was a lot of talk about floor crossing because it has propelled the liberals to this
00:01:19.700 majority position without these five floor crossers the liberals would not be at the 174 that they're
00:01:25.320 at now and there was also a lot of discussion and chit chat about whether there were more mps 0.99
00:01:30.080 we were hearing that there were you know at least five or six people that the liberals were chatting
00:01:35.100 with to try to get some mps to cross the floor so let me ask you this if you vote for someone
00:01:41.060 and they can just switch sides after the vote,
00:01:44.660 what exactly did your vote accomplish again?
00:01:47.140 Because Mark Carney did not win this majority.
00:01:50.360 He won a minority.
00:01:51.820 And then the rest was put together behind the scenes.
00:01:55.540 And don't take my word for it.
00:01:57.120 Even the mainstream media is saying the exact same thing.
00:02:00.900 Do you agree with the assessment around the election?
00:02:02.920 Yes, Mr. Carney does not want an election,
00:02:05.980 but also he's got some key people talking to opposition parties.
00:02:09.460 I'm told up to 10 MPs are still in discussion with Liberal delegates from Mr. Carney's office.
00:02:18.340 So there's still discussion going on.
00:02:20.520 So they're still hoping to get more opposition MPs from the Conservative Party.
00:02:25.640 But it's still a possibility that more may cross the floor to join the Liberal Party.
00:02:29.520 Now that you secured a parliamentary majority, do you have the mandate you need to govern?
00:02:34.500 Or will you call in an election in response to those who suggest the majority is not legitimate?
00:02:40.700 They didn't win it.
00:02:42.320 They built it.
00:02:43.660 And that right there is where people need to start asking real questions.
00:02:47.120 Are we still living in a democracy or are we just participating in a pretend one?
00:02:52.760 So not considering calling an election?
00:02:54.700 Not considering calling an election.
00:02:56.040 Look, I think very clearly Canadians want government to govern.
00:03:01.660 This isn't just about one government.
00:03:04.500 This is about a system where you can vote one way and end up with something completely
00:03:09.440 different a month later, which makes absolutely no sense in a democracy, where your elected
00:03:15.060 representative can become a completely different person the second it becomes convenient for
00:03:19.680 them.
00:03:20.380 And there's nothing you can do about it.
00:03:22.440 Carney, to put it bluntly, is not a man like Justin Trudeau, a second raider under the
00:03:29.200 mere influence of the World Economic Forum, that Malthusian fear-mongering cabal of authoritarian
00:03:35.520 elitists, drunk on the fumes of their own self-righteous delusions. He is, by contrast,
00:03:42.680 a veritable leader of that movement, an organizer par excellence of ESG, stakeholder capitalism,
00:03:51.400 diversity, equity, and inclusiveness, and degrowth. Out with the old, the liberals claim,
00:03:57.700 and in with the new but the new will be everything trudeau so terribly was but a lot more efficiently
00:04:05.540 and with much more sophisticated rationalization and here's where this goes from concerning to
00:04:11.700 serious because while all of this is happening people are leaving young canadians skilled
00:04:18.000 workers people who see better opportunities somewhere else they're going to the united
00:04:22.820 States. They're looking for a future where they don't live here anymore. And instead of asking
00:04:28.340 why that's happening, instead of fixing what's driving people out of Canada, listen to what's
00:04:34.280 being talked about inside liberal circles. Offers me a job, 300 grand a year, right? All I have to
00:04:41.480 do is show up at the border, apply for a TN visa, right? And I get this three-year, like no questions
00:04:48.200 that cost 30 bucks and now I move to Microsoft we as Canadians have
00:04:54.980 subsidized my education to the tune of you pick the number half a million right
00:05:00.860 500,000 and if I was a graduate student go right 30,000 TN go to the US every
00:05:09.160 year you want to save yourself five to ten billion dollars shut the TN program
00:05:15.800 and then keep them in or make them pay their half a million so that if they leave i'm okay with that
00:05:21.460 you want to go to the u.s give me back my money a proposal pitched at the liberal convention to
00:05:27.000 hit educated canadians with an exit tax up to half a million dollars for leaving just think about
00:05:33.780 that you build your life you find a better opportunity and instead of asking why you're
00:05:38.780 leaving their response is how do we make it harder or impossible for them to leave that's not fixing
00:05:44.840 a country that's trying to trap people in it. The world has changed much since that last
00:05:51.320 visit and I believe the progress that we have made in the partnership
00:05:56.920 sets us up well for the new world order. Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney is touting a new
00:06:07.460 strategic partnership with China in talks with Xi Jinping in Beijing as part of what he has said
00:06:13.100 is a new world order in part due to the fallout from trump tariffs and while citizens are losing
00:06:19.260 confidence the world is too the canadian dollar is being reduced in global reserves which means
00:06:25.500 international players are stepping back from canada so now you got people leaving capital
00:06:30.780 leaving confidence is on the floor and a government focused on control instead of correction and if
00:06:36.540 you think this is bad, listen to this. I have been told of university students already being
00:06:43.660 required to read my husband's now quite famous Davos speech of intergenerational dinner table
00:06:51.500 conversations being sparked by its contents of new possibilities opening up in its wake
00:06:58.620 of Canada being the nation that is helping to define and shape a new world order.
00:07:06.540 Let that sink in for a second.
00:07:10.060 Mark Carney's wife talking about how Canada is going to be leading the new world order or whatever.
00:07:14.340 While your vote becomes meaningless, while politicians keep switching sides after the election, while young Canadians are leaving and the economy is slipping, that's the language being used at the top.
00:07:25.160 I'm not even going to tell you what to think about that.
00:07:27.880 But I will ask you this.
00:07:29.280 Does that sound like a government focused on fixing your country or building something else entirely?
00:07:35.320 Yes.
00:07:35.640 some are still in denial rather than starting on this journey they're waiting for the past
00:07:42.760 to return
00:07:43.560 but hope is not a plan and nostalgia is not a strategy we can either shape our future with
00:08:00.660 AI or let it control our destiny the foundations of the international order the order which Canada
00:08:08.700 helped build and from which we have benefited for so long that order is crumbling when you put all
00:08:16.460 of this together a majority that wasn't directly voted in politicians who can switch sides after
00:08:22.380 the fact you have to ask yourself what are we actually living under right now is this still a
00:08:27.660 Democracy or just the idea of one?
