REAL AF with Andy Frisella - 483. Q&AF： Setting Bigger Goals, Starting From Scratch & Overcoming Victim Mentality

00:00:00.000 what is up guys it's andy priscilla and this is the show for the realists say goodbye the lies 0.98

00:00:20.980 the fakeness and delusions of modern society and welcome to motherfucking reality guys today we 0.87

00:00:25.540 have q a f two q a f's in a row i know it's uh i know it's unusual but we have a big guest coming 0.76

00:00:32.920 in this week and uh some abnormal recording schedules so we're gonna be a little flipped

00:00:37.840 around this week but next week we'll be back to normal um so we're gonna get better today instead 0.95

00:00:43.000 of talking shit so you gotta get better i know you all wanted to talk shit but uh for those of you 0.89

00:00:48.060 that just started listening uh this is q a f and this is a q a show you could submit your questions 0.99

00:00:55.200 that we answer on the show that's where we get the questions for the show you could submit them

00:00:59.380 to us a few different ways the first way is guys email those questions and to ask andy at andy

00:01:04.980 for seller.com and if you don't know that's dj hello children and uh the second way that you

00:01:11.020 could submit these questions is if you go on youtube and you go to the andy for seller youtube channel

00:01:15.860 uh we do post the full-length shows on youtube we just started that recently um if you guys have

00:01:22.000 questions that you'd like us to answer on q a f you could drop those in the comments on q a f and

00:01:26.220 we'll pick some from there as well um other times when you tune in uh we have cti that's cruise the

00:01:33.380 internet that's the show that would normally air today that you guys uh are losing out on today but

00:01:38.400 don't worry we're gonna get you this week um that's a society culture what's going on in the world

00:01:43.680 show and i know you're wondering like well why is this a business show but we're talking about all

00:01:47.780 this shit going on in the world well here's the deal bro without freedom we can't go out and be 0.98

00:01:52.220 ballers and make money and kick ass and build awesome shit all right so we have to pay attention 0.99

00:01:56.500 we have to keep one eye on the society to make sure that we're not losing our freedoms and make sure 0.99

00:02:01.100 that we can still operate in a free way uh in a capitalist way in a responsible way uh to help

00:02:07.620 better ourselves our communities and the people around us we have to know what's going on in the world

00:02:12.400 and then we have to know the techniques so this show q a f is more about the practical techniques

00:02:18.360 of how to win uh and then cti is the environment of how to win and we need to understand both

00:02:23.160 so that's cti uh then we have real talk real talk is uh five to 20 minutes of just real talk that i

00:02:30.940 think needs to be heard and then we have full length full lengths where we have a guest come in

00:02:34.480 we have a conversation like most other podcasts that you see and uh this is a value-driven show meaning

00:02:40.960 i share with you 24 years of entrepreneurial experience uh business experience life experience

00:02:46.380 performance experience um in exchange for that i just ask very simply that you share the show if we

00:02:52.820 do a good job if uh you learn something if it change your perspective just ask that you share the show

00:02:57.920 that's it man so uh when i say pay to fee that's what that means and share the show so that's i think

00:03:03.700 that's it yeah that's housekeeping i don't think i got into cti too much see i mean we talk a lot of

00:03:07.800 shit on cti yeah well i think so i was thinking about it there's an argument there that the lack 0.52

00:03:12.840 of understanding and lack of focus on the real world issues uh and too much focus on winning and 0.98

00:03:19.820 balling is kind of why we're in this predicament we're in no question is that a fair argument i see

00:03:24.840 it that way yeah i've observed it that way over the last decade yeah i feel like all the high

00:03:28.880 performing individuals that you know which is great like winning is great yeah when i say high 0.98

00:03:34.680 performing individuals i mean people who aspire to more people who are out building shit people

00:03:39.120 who are doing things people who you know you may not be a multi-millionaire you may just be starting 0.79

00:03:44.560 out but you're still a high performance person you're you're working to be i feel like we've grown

00:03:49.200 in such an environment over the last decade uh really about the last 15 years uh for entrepreneurship

00:03:55.860 and people say wow what about 2008 2008 was one of the best times for building a business that there 0.67

00:04:00.220 ever was sure a lot of people lost their shit but there was tremendous opportunity in it just like 0.81

00:04:04.980 there's tremendous opportunity to build things right now yeah um when everybody else stops and you 0.95

00:04:09.920 keep going you get to gap out against those people automatically by just continuing to move

00:04:15.180 so there's tremendous opportunity then and now and i feel like over the last between 2008 and now

00:04:21.280 you know times were so pretty much 0.98

00:04:24.540 i don't think a lot of people had really woken up to a lot of the of the truly tyrannical shit 0.90

00:04:32.100 that has been going on in our government i think up until the last couple years they did a pretty 0.95

00:04:36.260 good job of hiding it to where where i'm not saying it didn't exist um it's just that like all of us

00:04:41.540 who were out here building creating wanting to do awesome stuff we stopped paying attention to what

00:04:46.700 was going on in the world right we kind of just figured well fuck it is what it is it's pretty good 0.94

00:04:50.700 politics i don't like politics yeah right exactly i you know i don't really want to mess with that 0.91

00:04:54.660 and dude that's true right we should dedicate all of our energy because the truth of the matter is

00:04:59.340 is that you know where you put your energy and your focus is where you're going to see fruit grow

00:05:04.740 and you know when we when we obsess over politics and we obsess over the environment and we obsess over

00:05:11.620 the socio-political goings-ons of the day um we we don't have the energy to put in over here so

00:05:19.960 there's a fine line you have to just know what's going on and then like act the proper way but then

00:05:26.260 also execute with most of your energy over here and that's how we actually facilitate change because

00:05:30.900 when we act with most a lot of people say well put all your energy and you're trying to fix this well

00:05:35.900 that's true but that doesn't require a full-time fucking job that's as simple as like just adjusting 0.99

00:05:42.100 some basic things like having higher standards don't allow yourself to be sucked into the fucking 0.95

00:05:48.320 matrix become an uh a non-customer of theirs meaning you're not a mega consumer you're not 0.97

00:05:55.300 super overweight you're not fucking lazy you're not fucking broke you're not perpetually sick

00:06:00.520 you're working to not be any of these things that they want us to be so that we become dependent on 0.97

00:06:05.300 their structure and system those are simple decisions that we make throughout our day that

00:06:09.420 can align right in with building whatever it is we're building right for sure that's really what

00:06:14.140 we're talking about we're talking about and then you know things like going to your local school

00:06:18.800 board meetings or going to your local civic meetings we're not talking about taking all of

00:06:22.920 your focus from over here to over here run for office go yeah yeah we're talking about being aware

00:06:27.720 of this and then making adjustments accordingly you know like maybe stop spending your money with the 1.00

00:06:32.960 people who propagate this fucking crazy ass far fucking fetch bullshit the woke shit that you know 1.00

00:06:39.900 everybody's rejecting at this point you know take your money and put it with small business 1.00

00:06:44.560 stop spending it with the global corps spend it with fucking businesses uh that are small and medium 0.97

00:06:50.500 size that are owned by actual human beings that provide jobs that take care of people in their 0.99

00:06:54.880 communities and uh those those adjustments can make a big difference a massive yeah it's everything 0.95

00:07:00.140 that's all we can do right now unless we want to pick up fucking weapons and go fight which some of 0.92

00:07:04.080 you guys say that but like bro real talk you ain't ready for that you know what i'm saying like 0.99

00:07:08.360 there's a lot of people that talk that shit but like dude you know if that were if that were the 0.92

00:07:12.520 case i mean when we are to be doing that right you know i'm saying the only way for us reasonable 0.99

00:07:18.860 humans to actually have an effect on what's going on uh is to to adjust these things be aware of them

00:07:25.420 and adjust them and put our energy over here because over here when we build a business we build our

00:07:29.680 careers we build ourselves we build everything we're we're raising the tide we're setting the bar 0.99

00:07:35.260 we're setting an example for other people to follow whether it be our co-workers our fucking 0.97

00:07:40.360 neighbors our family our friends people in our community when they all see you know you steve 1.00

00:07:46.620 when they see steve kicking ass right they're like fuck i wonder how steve's kicking ass they 0.99

00:07:51.340 start paying a little bit closer attention they start doing a little bit better and so dude really 0.99

00:07:55.300 the key here and this is why i always say personal excellence is the ultimate rebellion the key

00:07:59.560 here is elevating all of our standards to the point where we're bringing people with us

00:08:04.180 so that the whole standard elevates and if the whole standard elevates and we all look at like 0.94

00:08:08.420 people who just depend on the government for fucking everything and who are what you know 0.87

00:08:12.900 people call npcs non-playable characters if you look at them and they're the minority eventually 0.99

00:08:18.240 those people stop being that way too you know they're trying to make this shit socially acceptable 0.99

00:08:22.600 there's a study that came out uh fucking over the weekend i saw you know too much exercise kills 1.00

00:08:29.380 people and then there's another study coke and diet coke improve the size of people's testicles 0.99

00:08:33.940 like bro they're so bought in like they got 400 pound fucking women on the cover of healthy living 1.00

00:08:39.940 magazines saying this is healthy when every motherfucker on the planet knows this ain't 0.99

00:08:44.180 fucking healthy we all fucking know that every single one of you knows that's not healthy every 0.99

00:08:49.140 fucking single one so it goes deeper than just making them people feel good about themselves and 0.99

00:08:53.360 that's what people have to understand it dude no it's it goes deeper than than even making those 0.98

00:08:58.000 people feel good good about themselves in a way where it's propaganda to convince you that it's okay to be

00:09:03.580 lazy overweight unhealthy poor and they're they're trying to weed out all the things that make it 0.79

00:09:11.520 impossible for people or make it impossible for them to control people well so your job if you don't 1.00

00:09:16.540 want to be a fucking slave to these people is to fucking be the opposite of that that's what this 0.99

00:09:21.980 show is all about dude this show is about winning it's about fucking how to kick ass it's based in 1.00

00:09:26.720 entrepreneurship but the reality is what it's ultimately about is us having a fucking rebellion 0.99

00:09:32.460 without a shot being fired through our culture it's about us all raising together you know stop 1.00

00:09:38.060 attacking each other and start attacking the people that actually doing this fucked up shit 0.99

00:09:41.460 yeah 100% man 100% i think i think that was also an important message too like you know because 0.99

00:09:47.260 you can't get too caught up on the other side either you know so it's a it's a perfect healthy

00:09:52.220 relationship we have here at real af so yeah i guess so help uh yeah something really dysfunctional

00:09:59.300 yeah right right well i could i want to say something too dude before we even get into the show 0.71

00:10:04.120 so i didn't post all weekend because my instagram has been instagram totally fucks with me all the 0.97

00:10:10.840 fucking time they they take my fucking views and they give me all my fucking unbridled views and the 0.99

00:10:16.080 next day it's fucking no views the next day it's unfiltered views again it's back and forth back and 1.00

00:10:21.180 forth then sometimes i can't upload my shit for days at a time like it'll do that circle thing 1.00

00:10:25.720 where it like almost uploads yeah won't upload like bro i'm so sick of these motherfuckers fucking 1.00

00:10:30.300 with me i'm so fucking sick of it but here's and by the way just so you know most of my content if 0.98

00:10:36.020 not all of it is going to be on my podcast and then on this little private platform that i built for

00:10:41.080 for you guys that we're going to launch soon where the mfceo project will be hosted i'm probably done

00:10:45.920 with fucking instagram just so you guys are aware so if you don't see me post on there that much 0.97

00:10:49.640 the reason is is because they fuck with me so hard i can't even fucking post even if i post 1.00

00:10:54.160 personal development shit they fucking fuck with it and like i'm just so fucking tired of it like 0.99

00:10:59.080 if these social media platforms would just run an open algorithm they'd fucking make 10 times the 1.00

00:11:04.300 amount of money but the reason they won't do it is because they've already lied to people so much

00:11:08.380 that if they do it they'll be exposed anyway which is the same thing that's happening on twitter

00:11:12.680 you know i saw someone on the left say oh twitter's not protecting people from trolls anymore 0.99

00:11:18.020 yeah because you're the fucking trolls you always have twitter never protected anybody from trolls 0.97

00:11:22.700 no bro no they protect the left from that's what i'm saying right and now they got an open format and 0.99

00:11:28.380 all these people are freaking out because the real numbers of society are showing and they can't post

00:11:33.400 anything without getting abused when for the last 10 years they were the abusers everybody else had to 0.99

00:11:38.800 step in line you they could death threat you they could they got you whatever they fucking dude i've 0.99

00:11:43.920 been canceled so many fucking times they've called here like thousands of times in a day before right 1.00

00:11:48.960 you know what i'm saying like these motherfuckers don't give a fuck but the minute it gets turned 1.00

00:11:52.500 back on them they fucking panic and throw a fucking fit anyway the point is that's why they won't allow 1.00

00:11:58.160 the shit but dude they're gonna ruin their business because i can tell you this i know more and more 1.00

00:12:03.620 and more people are saying fuck instagram and fuck meta completely yeah more people are becoming 1.00

00:12:09.420 disenfranchised with influencer culture and fucking all this fucking shit on the internet and these 1.00

00:12:14.140 perfect lives and that's what i wanted to actually get to i made a post after my weekend of not being 0.99

00:12:20.580 able to post and basically the post was hey look this shit's hard but if you don't go through it you're 0.57

00:12:28.560 not going to get better and you have to understand that anybody who's ever gotten better anybody who's 0.67

00:12:33.720 ever created anybody who's ever built anybody who's ever been something that you've looked up to 0.98

00:12:37.640 has gone through these hard times without quitting and i got all these fucking messages from people 0.93

00:12:43.280 dude and they're like i needed that today i really needed to hear that you know i really love that you 0.99

00:12:48.400 say that because you're so real and this and that listen dude i don't know who the fuck is telling y'all 0.99

00:12:53.780 this shit's supposed to be easy and i don't know who the fuck is telling y'all that it's easy for them 1.00

00:12:58.580 but i'm gonna tell you right now they're fucking full of shit they're full of fucking shit this shit is 1.00

00:13:03.420 hard being a high achieving person is hard trying to win is hard and when i say being a high achieving 1.00

00:13:09.280 person even if you're not yet and that's what you want to be it's hard and if you commit to that 0.97

00:13:14.120 path it's hard and it doesn't matter if your name is joe fucking blow or andy frisella or fucking 0.99

00:13:19.220 anybody else bro it's hard as fuck so like when you guys you guys see these fuckers out here saying 0.99

00:13:24.880 like oh you know like they make it sound easy or look easy and it makes you think that you're way less 0.99

00:13:30.000 than my whole fucking point of doing any of this content and it always has been this always has 0.95

00:13:36.020 been this is to make you understand that i am no fucking different than you bro if you guys knew 0.98

00:13:41.820 how fucking hard it is for me to get through a day sometimes like if you fucking really knew you would 0.99

00:13:46.420 feel a lot better about your own abilities like i struggle like a motherfucker dude like there's 1.00

00:13:51.120 fucking days where i don't want to get out of bed there's weeks at a time where i don't want to get 0.99

00:13:55.500 out of bed probably months at a time where i don't want to get out of bed and i fucking do it 0.99

00:13:59.220 because i have to like dude just because you guys don't see me doing my rucks or doing my workouts 0.96

00:14:06.080 and shit doesn't mean i ain't doing i'm still fucking doing and like dude to live to a high 0.96

00:14:11.640 standard is is a struggle for anyone it's a dude i wrote the fucking book on it i wrote the book 75 hard 0.99

00:14:20.460 bro it's still hard as fuck every fucking day so like dude you guys have to give yourself some 0.98

00:14:28.720 fucking credit like just because you're struggling doesn't mean that there's something wrong with you 0.98

00:14:33.600 you're doing it wrong no yeah that dude that's the hard part that's the part that like dude this 1.00

00:14:39.100 whole fucking idealistic nonsense influencer fucking bullshit on the internet is ruining people's 0.99

00:14:46.160 fucking image of themselves and what it takes to actually win and it fucking pisses me off dude 1.00

00:14:52.640 like when i see people who i know are perfectly capable and like smart successful badass people 0.99

00:15:00.200 dming me and i'm not gonna say their names because i i don't do that shit but saying like bro i'm really 0.98

00:15:05.260 struggling and like fucking you know nobody can i got nobody bro fucking talk to people dude 0.99

00:15:10.880 like everybody it's hard for everybody every motherfucker out there that's trying to do 1.00

00:15:15.460 fucking anything whether it's fucking you know build a company or just be better in general it's trying 1.00

00:15:20.480 to get through life and not fucking drown yeah everybody's struggling dude this shit this shit 1.00

00:15:26.380 is fucking like look man it's it's choose your heart it's the same shit i've been saying forever 1.00

00:15:31.880 and ever and ever this shit is gonna be hard either way you are either gonna struggle from lack or you're 1.00

00:15:38.500 gonna struggle from the problems that come with abundance and i can tell you from someone who 0.97

00:15:42.620 struggled with both sets of problems that you want the problems of abundance not the problems of lack 0.96

00:15:47.480 okay that's the truth and i don't know how to say it in your clear you could you could fucking justify 0.99

00:15:52.280 your poverty all you want and you could say oh i don't need that shit and you could say this that 0.99

00:15:56.240 the other fine i respect that but here's the truth i've had both sets of problems and the set of 1.00

00:16:01.620 problems with abundance of money is much better than the problems with no fucking money okay so judge me 0.99

00:16:06.620 however the fuck you want on that i don't give a fuck i'm just telling you the fuck that's real and 0.99

00:16:10.320 everybody knows that though yeah but bro but people there's this there's people that think that 0.99

00:16:15.300 because you know you get they think because i'm gonna get something i'm gonna get somewhere i'm

00:16:21.060 gonna fucking meet someone or i'm gonna get this job or i'm gonna make this amount of money or i'm 0.98

00:16:25.040 gonna get this car i'm gonna get this girl or i'm gonna get this thing and everything's gonna be 0.98

00:16:29.700 cool and everything's gonna be happy bro all you're doing is is introducing an entire new environment 0.95

00:16:35.480 that's gonna have its own set of fucking issues to deal with and so like you guys running from the hard 1.00

00:16:40.960 shit who think you're gonna find this place of fucking inner peace and serenity you're fucking 1.00

00:16:46.160 kidding yourselves dude it's not real it's not real shit real shit is going through the process 1.00

00:16:53.200 understanding that there's always going to be problems that have that happen understanding that 0.99

00:16:58.600 the struggle is real and it's a real thing having empathy for other people that are on the path but

00:17:03.860 also understanding that the reason you're struggling is to get to a point where the problems that you have

00:17:08.320 aren't as fucking you know deadly as some of these problems right like the problem dude i got a lot 0.99

00:17:15.480 of fucking problems bro like i have to deal with all kinds of fucking people all kinds of personalities 1.00

00:17:20.220 all kinds of moods all kinds of emotions all kinds of fucking bullshit if i'm being quite honest 1.00

00:17:26.180 all kinds of it okay i'm trying to live my life there's not a single fucking time that i walk through 1.00

00:17:31.740 my fucking life at this point in my life where the problem that fucking comes to me is something that 0.98

00:17:36.140 i actually did it's dealing with everybody else's fucking problems okay now in exchange for that 1.00

00:17:43.560 i don't have to worry about where the fuck i go to eat right i don't have to worry about what car i 0.99

00:17:48.420 drive i don't have to worry about what fucking you know where where i live right i don't worry about 0.99

00:17:53.980 that shit but i gotta worry about so much other shit that most people never fucking consider right 0.99

00:17:59.420 now before i had those problems when nobody gave a fuck i didn't have any people i didn't have any 1.00

00:18:04.300 i i was trying to solve the problems of how to eat that's what i'm saying that's the trade-off yeah

00:18:08.800 so like dude you don't have to have those problems but yeah but like my point is is like you guys got 0.97

00:18:13.960 to quit overestimating all these fucking people out there like there's fucking superheroes like that and 0.98

00:18:19.000 you ain't it ain't fucking true and anybody that presents themselves like that i can't fucking stand 1.00

00:18:24.180 either oh i'm built for the game i'm built for bro i'll eat your fucking shit for breakfast bro 1.00

00:18:29.000 i'll fucking dominate you a thousand times out of a thousand you couldn't fucking hold my fucking 1.00

00:18:34.620 jockstrap and i'm and it's hard for me so i know you're lying right you see what i'm saying right so 1.00

00:18:41.620 i know you're lying like dude and that's where i'm coming from with this shit i'm so tired of fucking 1.00

00:18:46.980 hearing all these perfection these perfect lives these fuck this fucking fake shit when it comes to 1.00

00:18:54.640 business success building building a life and i'm just so fucking tired of it because dude when i 1.00

00:19:00.140 post a post that says hey dude i struggle just like you motherfuckers every day it's like it's 0.99

00:19:05.480 like they're surprised bro don't be surprised man like i listen when i tell you i fucking struggle i 1.00

00:19:12.260 fucking struggle i understand what the fuck you're going through i've been through it i've been through 0.99

00:19:16.960 all stages of it from fucking where you are to fucking where you're going i've i've traveled that 1.00

00:19:22.380 journey maybe you'll go a lot further than me i hope you fucking do i really do but i'm telling 1.00

00:19:27.280 you man and this is real shit i'm good at what i do i have fucking i have 24 years of fucking skills 0.99

00:19:33.020 in my tool belt or i know what the fuck i'm doing when it comes to really much anything at business at 1.00

00:19:37.240 this point in time it's still hard as fuck every fucking day and that's not some bullshit feel good 0.99

00:19:43.960 have sympathy for me shit i'm telling you this because you need to quit beating yourself up thinking 0.99

00:19:48.920 you don't have what the fuck it takes you do have what the fuck it takes you do have the ability 1.00

00:19:53.580 to learn you do have the ability to persevere you just got to do it and you got to quit putting people 1.00

00:19:58.720 on pedestals thinking andy for seller doesn't struggle you fucking serious bro like if you 1.00

00:20:03.240 follow me around for a week you'd be like fuck dude this guy's kind of a bitch but the only thing 1.00

00:20:08.060 that makes me not a bitch is that even though as hard as i struggle i still fucking get it done 1.00

00:20:11.720 and that's all you got to do to a high standard that's all you got to do it doesn't matter it doesn't 0.97

00:20:16.620 matter how good you look doing it it doesn't matter you know that your friends think you're

00:20:21.060 fucking superstar the internet thinks you're it doesn't matter what matters is that you do it and 0.93

00:20:25.520 you do it to a high standard like you just said and like dude it breaks my heart for people when i 0.99

00:20:29.780 see them talking about you know they're fucking like surprised like oh bro it's so cool it's so 0.96

00:20:36.200 refreshing to see someone say that they struggle what the fuck are you talking about dude i thought i made 0.98

00:20:39.980 myself clear over the last eight fucking years real talk yeah like have you ever heard have you ever 0.98

00:20:44.560 have you ever heard me come in on a show ever any of you anybody listening ever come in and say yeah 0.99

00:20:49.780 this shit's easy bro i'm so skilled this fucking shit's easy have you ever told me have you ever 0.99

00:20:54.100 heard me tell you that it was going to fucking take a short time did i ever tell you it was going to be 1.00

00:20:58.880 easy i ever tell you any of this shit from day one i've come on the fucking internet from day one i 0.99

00:21:03.980 started my podcast i've been telling you motherfuckers the truth it takes a long time it takes a lot 1.00

00:21:08.860 longer than you think or want it's hard as fuck you're gonna fucking lose a lot of friends you're 0.99

00:21:13.920 gonna lose contact with a lot of people that aren't aligned with you you're gonna make new friends 0.97

00:21:17.480 okay but if you keep going you're gonna find out what it is that you were meant to do and you're 0.55

00:21:21.980 gonna fucking be on a different level than everybody else that you know and i've been telling you this 0.92

00:21:25.720 is the real story for years and years and years and years and years and had you started listening 0.98

00:21:29.640 in 2015 like a lot of you did uh you probably have a successful business now like a lot of people

00:21:35.580 do that listen to the show you know how many people i get letters from and i mean you see the fan

00:21:39.300 i get fucking dude i get fucking 50 60 pieces of mail a day from people who have been listening 0.98

00:21:45.880 and they're like tell me their story about how they built this and that and this bro the proof 0.99

00:21:50.880 is in the pudding i got a q a from a guy that just got a promotion because we'll hit on that in a second 0.99

00:21:55.120 bro you you got i'm talking to you guys listening right now you are far more fucking capable than you 0.98

00:22:00.360 think you are stop putting people on a fucking pedestal thinking that they're better than you they're not 0.99

00:22:05.120 better than you they might be doing it longer than you they might they might have this they might 0.99

00:22:10.340 be able to fake that it's easy for them okay but it ain't and i'm here to tell you dude and i say this 0.78

00:22:17.200 from a place of humility because i have a lot to learn but i'm pretty fucking good at what i do 0.96

00:22:21.600 and it's still hard as fuck it's still hard as fuck so take that for what it is i'm just i'm so tired 0.94

00:22:29.520 of the internet making people feel like they're incapable because so many people put on this perfect 0.98

00:22:34.440 fucking persona yeah i fucking hate it dude what do you think about how many people like are afraid 0.99

00:22:39.620 of even just fucking going simply because of that bro that you combine that with the cancel culture 0.99

00:22:46.960 aspect and the troll aspect of the internet and you have a situation where because of uh and this is 0.99

00:22:53.420 why i do this is why i think people should fucking start living in real life and building shit in real 0.96

00:22:57.460 life not only do the numbers and the data say so i believe people in general in mass are starting to 0.98

00:23:03.440 realize that this technology is not fucking how we're supposed to spend our lives i believe people

00:23:09.120 are starting to realize that no i see it in the numbers in the data of the companies i'm involved 0.95

00:23:13.480 with people are switching to fucking in person they want in person product they want in person 1.00

00:23:19.240 fucking shopping experience they want community in person they're tired of this shit and i see the 1.00

00:23:25.180 internet so yeah and they're tired of being made to feel like they're a fucking loser by some 1.00

00:23:28.880 fucking faker on the internet who really hasn't done a goddamn thing you know what i'm saying 0.99

00:23:33.600 absolutely man like bro you know how hard it is for me to watch the internet and watch all these 1.00

00:23:38.000 people pretend how fucking how fucking badass they are knowing where i know exactly where they are and 0.98

00:23:44.320 i know they're fucking lying and i know they're full of shit and i know other people are watching them 1.00

00:23:48.640 and saying fuck dude it's easy for this guy but it's hard for me or it's easy for this girl but it's hard 1.00

00:23:55.020 for me just not meant to be bro these people are full of shit it's fucking hard 1.00

00:23:59.680 anybody who tells you any different dude i wouldn't listen to another fucking word they say 1.00

00:24:06.480 coming out of their fucking mouth period yeah real shit man anyway no that's real shit man 1.00

00:24:13.560 that's important it's necessary yeah it's necessary man and that's not and it's not even like it's not 1.00

00:24:20.180 even meant to deter anybody from like no but it's just it's an honest disclaimer okay look i'm glad

00:24:25.880 you said that bro because that can come off as deterrent yeah i'm not deterring you i am asking

00:24:31.720 you to have a realistic understanding of what you're doing who you're watching who you're listening to

00:24:39.500 what you're believing and what you're not believing because the internet has this way of making us all feel 0.80

00:24:45.640 alone which by the way is intentional if you go read the fucking chaos machine explains this 0.88

00:24:51.500 it makes us all feel alone it makes us all feel inadequate it makes us all addicted to attention 0.95

00:24:58.120 which is what fucking keeps us on the platform you ever get that feeling like oh dude i haven't posted 0.98

00:25:05.100 in a while so i don't know if people still like me right right well i stopped posting three fucking 0.95

00:25:10.420 years ago bro i pulled the experiment on myself i'm doing better now than i was doing then so if 0.99

00:25:16.560 you think all your shit is dependent on that you're fucking insane and i've i'm a case study for it i've 0.99

00:25:22.460 put we've grown every year since then quite a bit or i haven't posted in three years so remember that 1.00

00:25:29.320 when you think oh no blah blah blah people are so consumed with their own shit they don't notice when 0.99

00:25:35.200 you're not there and that's not a thing on you but a lot of you guys do this shit because you feel 0.99

00:25:39.200 like you have to and the only reason you feel like you have to is because they've engineered this 0.98

00:25:43.420 system to make you feel alone and to make you feel addicted to this fake fucking game it's a game 0.98

00:25:49.380 okay and then while we're playing this game we're ignoring all of our real life shit spend more time 1.00

00:25:56.980 in reality bro spend less time fucking listening to dumb fucks on here because i can tell you right now 1.00

00:26:01.420 most of these motherfuckers don't know what they're talking about that's a fact man and you you 1.00

00:26:06.740 shouldn't be burying your own self-esteem because you see someone who's putting on this perfect 1.00

00:26:11.500 persona i'm fucking over it dude this is dude i really think i'm close to being done with instagram 0.97

00:26:17.600 forever like once i get that other platform launched i am fucking done with it yeah i'm done 0.98

00:26:21.720 i'm done it's fucking so toxic dude the more and more i watch it the more like the more the more i have 0.99

00:26:30.340 this mentality the the more i look at it and realize this the more i'm like fuck well and you 1.00

00:26:36.340 like you know the the the the negative consequences of it you know i'm saying it's like well it's like 0.78

00:26:42.500 it's like it's like i don't know i'm trying to find a good metaphor for it but it's like once you know

00:26:46.780 like drinking for example like once you realize like okay like it's not there for me it has no power

00:26:51.540 over you anymore so like there's no need for it there's no cravings for it like it just goes away man

00:26:55.780 and i think we're the society as a whole will be doing the same thing with social media and i feel

00:27:00.480 like so too i feel like i feel like it's going to be continued to use as a tool but i i mean like dude 0.86

00:27:05.860 like most of my customers for my businesses are not on fucking instagram or youtube they're not on 0.96

00:27:11.400 there and that's the thing it's not to say that that's going to be completely eradicated you know 0.93

00:27:14.480 i'm saying like there'll still be its uses and they'll still be it'll still be there yeah you know

00:27:18.640 but i think we'll look at social media how you know cigarettes are looked at now you know i agree 0.96

00:27:22.500 with that it used to be the thing to do doctors were fucking bro i agree with that 0.88

00:27:25.780 i i think now it's like oh you smoke cigarettes i think social media will be our generation 0.99

00:27:29.820 cigarettes yeah that's real shit i really believe that it's real shit you know we'll have our own 0.99

00:27:33.740 you want to get on twitter i go to the fucking little social media section over there in the 1.00

00:27:38.460 restaurant you know i'm saying bro i really i really i really think that's i'll tell you what 0.98

00:27:45.500 dude like when i go to dinner with someone and they're on social the whole time i won't go to

00:27:48.580 dinner with them ever again yeah oh ever again like if i go to dinner with you like this is fair

00:27:54.040 warning like if you and i sit down for dinner and you're checking your social media and your 0.99

00:27:57.180 shit on your phone when you're sitting with me i won't go out with you ever again not only that i 0.99

00:28:01.560 probably won't pick up the phone when you fucking call it i don't do it i'm so over it dude it's a 1.00

00:28:06.820 real struggle man because those interpersonal skills are just lost bro i really believe that everything's 0.99

00:28:13.340 going to go back into it yeah i truly believe it yeah i'm probably the only motherfucker out there 0.56

00:28:17.820 saying it too but i truly believe that's going to happen no i mean even i don't think it's going 0.67

00:28:22.500 to go full all the way back and that's what i'm saying there's still be a use there technology will 0.99

00:28:26.140 be i'm not saying that social media is going to fucking fail i'm saying until they get their shit 0.97

00:28:31.060 fixed and until it's fucking a healthy place people are going to go back this other way that's real man 0.98

00:28:37.300 that's real and dude uh by the way we we had a bunch of comments on this because we talked about 0.92

00:28:44.360 this i think on cti or something oh yeah young and old didn't we young and old then we have a

00:28:49.380 bunch of comments of people being like yeah dude i agree with that yeah absolutely young and old

00:28:52.920 all over the place man because like i said people are realizing it man and like that's we are hardwired

00:28:59.080 as humans to crave this interpersonal connection where social media these phones they try to hack that

00:29:07.100 by tapping into dopamine responses and things like that but at the end of the day this in part like

00:29:12.780 this is still going to be required at a primitive level you can't go around dude you know dude and

00:29:18.540 they're trying to remove it all so they can control all of us it ain't gonna happen i i don't i don't

00:29:23.900 think it is either i think there's a cultural revolt against technology no i think when people truly

00:29:29.520 wake up to technology and they understand how fucking unregulated it has been abused meaning like 0.98

00:29:34.480 how they listen to us you know you motherfuckers like like people like to laugh they're like oh dude we 0.99

00:29:39.640 were just talking about that they showed me that yeah right right right that's not funny no no they 0.99

00:29:44.980 listen everything you fucking say bro these people have gained access to every conversation between 0.98

00:29:50.240 human beings on the fucking planet without any regulation and there's not a person listening 1.00

00:29:56.240 to this show that thinks that's okay or not a violation of privacy we deserve our own fucking 0.98

00:30:01.220 lives these people do not allow us to have it that's the thing it's like you know if you ever feel 0.95

00:30:06.220 like you know you're alone just remember your fbi agents always listen that's right

00:30:09.500 sometimes i talk to those people how many times has there been text messages when i've been texting

00:30:15.800 being you've been texting i'd be like hey you fbi guys yeah blah blah we're cool we're good like i

00:30:20.940 know you're fucking watching the good news is is most of the people in the fbi are good people that's 0.90

00:30:25.620 the truth and you know the it's the top fucking ranked people that are okay with doing all this 1.00

00:30:30.560 fucked up shit the people who actually join that are pure of heart and pure of character 0.99

00:30:34.900 that to serve they fucking hate this shit anyway that's we're talking ct that's another episode you 1.00

00:30:40.880 guys catch that later this week let's get going let's make some people better man andy uh question 0.99

00:30:45.560 number one andy i've been doing a powerless daily since that episode uh since you first released it

00:30:52.320 released it and as a result um i've switched careers from an hourly mechanic to a project manager at

00:30:58.240 the same company because of it it took four years of using the powerless consistently to make it

00:31:03.200 happen i finally reached the major milestone from my vision board but i feel like i have a mental

00:31:09.400 hangover because everything is so new and i don't know what to shoot for next my question to you is

00:31:14.720 when you finally achieve something you've dreamed and worked towards for years is this hangover feeling

00:31:21.060 normal and then how do you find the next step of the journey well i think usually people get to a

00:31:28.000 point so if you get if you achieve a goal without another goal behind it okay you're gonna have that

00:31:36.660 hangover part all right because what what you're feeling now is like you've just worked and worked

00:31:42.020 and worked and worked and worked achieved and now you're you're here it's like now what well yeah and

00:31:47.380 you're already in this habit of all these things so don't quit that habit bro pick a new spot to be

00:31:52.580 and start doing the work over again this is the process of lifetime fulfillment and success is you

00:31:59.260 raise the bar before you hit the bar oh you see what i'm saying like when you're going to raise the

00:32:05.040 bar and like when i set a goal for myself bro like i actually never really achieve my goals and here's why

00:32:11.060 now i know that sounds weird but here's why i don't achieve them because i set a goal then when i get

00:32:17.660 within reach of the goal i'm already setting a new goal past that goal because i know i'm going to

00:32:24.100 achieve this one okay and so it's not about achieving the goal it's about raising the bar

00:32:30.820 when you recognize that it can be raised and champions people who fucking win over the course 0.87

00:32:35.980 of their life those people are raising the bar before they ever get over the fucking first bar that 0.99

00:32:41.540 they set they're already looking at it and say oh well okay i got this first win like like like our guy

00:32:47.200 here i got this first win took me a long time now your goal should be something past that and you

00:32:53.700 should be understanding that you just learned four years worth of skills that'll help you achieve this

00:32:57.800 next goal in a much quicker time of of uh reference yeah it might be two years now it might be a year

00:33:03.500 who knows but the point you might have to change companies and go somewhere else where your skills

00:33:07.740 are valued where you can escalate that but the answer to your question is the reason that you feel

00:33:12.300 off it's because you haven't picked something new to go after and dude like this is a big thing people

00:33:18.220 think that you know you hit these goals or you hit these milestones and you know you're there but

00:33:24.720 like dude it's a long race like we always have to be moving and upping and the whole point of the 0.91

00:33:30.040 power list is to consistently evolve you it's not to hit goals it's to build your skills over the

00:33:36.940 course of time do you understand absolutely so so you're creating momentum you're creating

00:33:41.880 momentum you're creating momentum okay cool you hit this goal that doesn't really matter anymore

00:33:45.400 you continue to create create create create create create and the achievements come does that make

00:33:51.020 sense absolutely in my experience and would you agree with this man because like you know there's

00:33:56.280 been a couple of like goals that i've milestones i'll call them that i've hit like for me it's weird

00:34:01.280 because like i don't even feel like satisfied with them almost it's like well look man i'm probably

00:34:06.820 the wrong person to talk to about that aspect of it because i one of my personal faults that i struggle

00:34:13.240 with is i don't celebrate at all all right which isn't good either and i've said this before like 0.97

00:34:18.520 i've told you guys winners don't celebrate and that was five six years ago and i thought i knew my shit 0.85

00:34:23.360 well i was a little bit wrong on that because here's something i've learned is that when when i don't 0.78

00:34:27.720 celebrate or at least acknowledge what i've done i i have a self-belief inside of me that i haven't done 0.86

00:34:33.180 shit right and so like recently you know because this last year and a half has been so fucking hard 0.91

00:34:39.160 for me mentally with that injury and then getting off my antidepressants and you know then i got that 0.98

00:34:44.640 fucking blood infection like it's been thing after thing after thing you know i haven't been able to 0.88

00:34:48.620 get back to my whole self in that time frame yet yeah which i'm working on now and uh you know one 0.98

00:34:55.880 of the things i've had to be consistently reminded especially in dude ed my let does this very well for

00:35:00.580 me and this is one of the things i love about ed so much as a friend is that like he'll remind me 0.98

00:35:05.140 because like i know you guys think you hear the brash you know andy that says whatever the fuck he 0.85

00:35:11.860 wants um but like bro i'm a human being and so like when i start you know struggling like i do get down 0.99

00:35:19.140 and i do think like fuck dude you ain't shit like you haven't done shit and like ed has to remind me 0.99

00:35:24.380 he's like bro um have you looked around no the fuck are you talking about yeah but like dude that's what 1.00

00:35:28.620 but even me right like all of you guys are probably laughing at me right now being like what the fuck 0.99

00:35:32.060 are you talking about dude but like if that affects me think how it affects everybody else 0.94

00:35:35.980 you see what i'm saying so it's normal for us to get down and we have to remind ourselves 0.86

00:35:41.520 of the shit that we did so when i say you know don't celebrate what i really mean is don't get hung 0.99

00:35:47.860 up on your fucking old shit to where you don't keep moving forward don't stay so yeah because that 1.00

00:35:52.780 shit will stop you in your tracks and you know everybody grows everybody changes you know who i 1.00

00:35:58.920 was three four even two years ago i'm not that person anymore i'm a different person i've learned 0.99

00:36:03.120 a lot that's why i don't have any shame in telling you guys like hey i was fucking wrong on that 0.85

00:36:06.900 but um i still believe that not celebrating for more than 24 hours is a good thing but i do think

00:36:13.400 celebrating is important because when you don't celebrate then it never really locks it in that you

00:36:18.440 actually achieved anything and you always feel like you're just spinning your wheels with no

00:36:21.700 fucking progress and that's where i get into because i don't celebrate like i you know i was 0.83

00:36:26.380 talking to ed about this like a couple months ago and he's like bro he's like you're you're telling 0.98

00:36:32.120 yourself like fake stories like this isn't real like like have you looked around like do you look at

00:36:37.100 look at the people that like your company changes look at all the people who've changed with 75 hard

00:36:42.060 and live hard look at all the people your podcast has helped grow businesses look what you've done

00:36:46.020 with arate syndicate look what you've done with fucking like and he goes down the list over and over you 0.95

00:36:50.760 know look at all the transformations that happen because of first form or s2 or you know what i'm 0.89

00:36:55.120 saying like look at the companies you've created that now employ people and he's laying all this

00:36:59.020 shit out and i'm hearing him but because i never celebrated any of it it doesn't feel real does that 0.94

00:37:04.960 make sense yeah he's like bro you got one of the best car collections on the fucking planet i know 0.98

00:37:09.760 but like i like it still doesn't feel real it's feel because i never celebrated you see what i'm saying

00:37:17.180 so like if i have a regret one of my regrets is that i i didn't ever celebrate because i was so 0.90

00:37:22.820 fucking hungry to get away from where i was that i just said fuck it i'm still going i'm still going 0.99

00:37:28.820 and by the way i still have that mentality it's ingrained in me it's who i am yeah but it's one 0.99

00:37:32.780 of my faults one of my faults is i have to remind myself the truth the truth is that i have done some

00:37:41.080 pretty incredible shit especially for someone my age so far in life yeah and i don't say that to brag

00:37:46.700 because on the on the on the side of you know feeling high on myself or low dude i feel low 0.99

00:37:52.260 on myself probably more than i feel high on myself that's dude that insecurity that fucking 0.98

00:37:57.380 that feeling of inadequacy is is a main driver for all fucking very successful people yeah they never 0.91

00:38:03.740 feel like they're good okay and i'm no different we're feeling like there's gonna be more to be done 0.98

00:38:07.920 yeah so when you guys think like oh dude this guy's fucking cocky or this is that bro you're you're 0.93

00:38:12.120 reading it wrong you're reading it wrong because i have to constantly be reminded of all the great 0.99

00:38:16.240 shit that i've done from other people for me to even believe it and so i'm working on trying 0.69

00:38:20.740 to acknowledge that through learning how to celebrate and uh become a more you know well

00:38:25.760 rounded uh person in that regard yeah but both things to those two things can be true at the

00:38:32.700 same time you it's it's true that you have done a lot but it's also true that you still got a long

00:38:36.840 way to go absolutely and just maintaining their focus but i think it's important for us

00:38:40.860 to have real talks with ourselves occasionally about what the truth is of what we have done

00:38:47.220 and i think of most of you like you have two kinds of people you have the kind of people who 0.77

00:38:52.100 over inflate the shit that they've done yeah which i actually feel like is a lot of people 0.74

00:38:57.000 and then you have people who under inflate the shit that they've done and i feel like that's a lot 0.96

00:39:01.920 of people too and when you compare who does more in the real world it's always the people that think 0.91

00:39:06.100 less of themselves than it is the people that think more of themselves so i think it's important

00:39:10.400 for people to really give an honest assessment about where your ego is right like you don't want

00:39:15.660 you don't want to be beating yourself up but you also don't want to be blowing yourself up either

00:39:19.800 right we got to be realistic with it and so like celebrating is a good anchor for achievement where we

00:39:25.520 realize okay i did that but now i'm going to move to the next thing and so i don't have any of those

00:39:30.120 memories bro i never celebrated like like all those pictures that you see with people getting a car

00:39:35.660 you know doing these amazing things with their business and shit or whatever their person i 0.77

00:39:39.980 don't have that and i know that for a fucking fact bro like you've had a few cars get delivered that 0.99

00:39:43.880 are like you know ridiculous people don't even know i have them all right cool put it in the garage 0.99

00:39:47.920 and you fucking you go to work yeah i'm like what bro what are we doing you never want to hit the 0.99

00:39:51.360 back road very quick you know what i'm saying it's just dude it's it's unhealthy in the in the 0.99

00:39:56.160 other way that most you know i'm saying so you gotta find that balance dude so like you know for this

00:40:02.880 gentleman acknowledge that you that's great dude four years fucking got your got your thing 0.98

00:40:07.120 that's awesome celebrate it bro make it a big moment in your life but now let's set something 0.73

00:40:12.100 new and let's go after that that's real andy i love it uh question number two okay andy you are set

00:40:18.940 back uh 24 years zero dollars you have no contacts no resources no business no social media no email

00:40:26.720 list no dedicated employees nothing to fall back on all you have is the knowledge that you have

00:40:31.980 in your brain currently what's your first move and how do you go from there

00:40:35.160 well i would obviously probably take care of or take advantage of the free technology that we have

00:40:43.200 to promote ourselves first that's what i would do i have a pretty good way of speaking certain things

00:40:48.240 people seem to like it been popular for a long time so i would probably pick up my phone and i would 0.93

00:40:53.400 start talking some shit that's what i would do to get some people to pay attention i would also 0.82

00:40:58.960 probably start working on a real business plan of what i thought could be done how i would utilize 0.99

00:41:04.760 technology what i could do for the least amount of money you know one of the things that makes

00:41:09.080 uh an effective entrepreneur is doing a lot for a little and one of the best reasons that i feel like 0.92

00:41:14.800 i've been able to do some things in real life is because for the first 10 12 years we were so fucking 0.90

00:41:20.120 broke that i had to get creative and i understood um guerrilla marketing techniques i understood how to how to

00:41:26.280 how to create buzz when there was no buzz i understood how to meet customers when there were

00:41:31.480 no customers and those are skills that you can't replace you know i don't really think i would do

00:41:36.300 too much different in terms of what i did in reality yeah except for i would implement technology into it

00:41:42.540 um because it's available yeah because it's available and it speed things up like dude

00:41:47.020 i did like i did social media the first fucking 10 years guys it just wasn't on social media it was in 0.96

00:41:53.720 real life but i walked like like you guys you know you think sending a dm to introduce yourself

00:41:59.140 while i walked into stores and i shook hands introduced myself yeah see what i'm saying yeah

00:42:03.720 and that's how i did it and i did that way for years and years and years and that allowed me to learn 0.76

00:42:07.880 the compounding effect of like actually giving a fuck about meeting people and doing that work

00:42:14.180 and dude like a lot of people you know they want they want the fast track okay like they want all 0.73

00:42:23.000 the customers and they want all the attention let's say you just create some viral personality

00:42:27.180 that gets all this attention well that's fine you probably sell some stuff for a while but now you're 0.92

00:42:33.040 going to have to learn all the hard shit in front of a whole bunch of people right like you're going 0.99

00:42:37.680 to fuck up all their orders you're going to fuck up all your marketing you're going to make all the 1.00

00:42:40.900 fucking mistakes in front of the whole world and you know that's that's dangerous because the reality 0.97

00:42:46.500 is is just like when i was coming up you know if i didn't have a uh so what the way i describe it is 0.98

00:42:53.740 this if you have a bucket right you're gonna pour water into it customers you don't want any holes in

00:43:00.300 the bucket okay so you're going to do everything you can to make sure that the bucket's not leaking

00:43:05.260 before you start pouring extra water in does that make sense yeah all right most companies don't do

00:43:09.600 that most companies are in such a hurry to get the customers that they don't think about the holes

00:43:14.480 in the bottom of their boat they don't think about um their shipping uh systems they don't think about

00:43:20.480 their customer interaction systems they don't think about uh their fulfillment systems they don't think

00:43:26.320 about the experience of what a customer is going to experience they don't think about none of this 0.97

00:43:30.620 shit all they think about is the money and because all they think about this money they go out in a 0.98

00:43:34.580 hurry to get all the marketing attention to pour it in their bucket that has a bunch of holes in it 0.99

00:43:39.040 it flows right through this is what most people do with their businesses so my what i would do

00:43:43.800 is i would work just i would actually do the same thing i did like we never advertised until i felt

00:43:49.340 like we were confident that we could at least provide a a high level experience for for the

00:43:57.200 majority of our customers meaning 99 of them with the occasional fuck up well because that's a lot

00:44:01.940 it's going to be a lot of new eyes on it right yeah of course and the first impression is

00:44:05.520 everything and if you fucking well if you pour all the attention onto your widget even with 0.99

00:44:10.620 technology and you ain't ready to fucking service it you're gonna fuck your whole shit up if you got 0.99

00:44:15.060 a bag of shit all you're doing is just showing a bag of shit that's right and every and all the 1.00

00:44:18.600 people can talk now like all the people can talk in uh instantly yeah so they're gonna say like hey 1.00

00:44:24.300 did you buy from dj's fucking you know widget factory yeah they're gonna be like yeah i brought 0.99

00:44:29.700 well i bought one of dj's widget it fucking sucked it took me fucking three months to get it it fucking 0.99

00:44:33.820 didn't fit right fucking blah blah blah the people were rude see like that those things all those 0.98

00:44:40.460 things that the hospitality element the experience element of your business are often overlooked and 0.97

00:44:48.020 the reason the reason they're so rare and the reason they're so valuable is because most people

00:44:53.080 overlook them so if you're a small business and you're looking for an edge bro look at the customer

00:44:58.440 experience that you can provide and make that the best that you can because that's going to give you

00:45:02.940 an excellent advantage over everybody else that's also selling widgets yeah and most people don't

00:45:07.260 even think about it once someone it's not even hard especially right now it is hard it takes effort 0.76

00:45:11.680 you got to fucking pay attention you got to care you got to build relationships it takes a lot more 0.61

00:45:16.180 effort to do business that way but the reality is when you do business that way a couple good things 0.99

00:45:21.260 happen one people become advocates of your brand and they talk for you okay like a lot of the guys

00:45:26.640 that listen to this show like a lot of you guys you guys you guys talk for us we don't advertise this

00:45:31.680 show you guys you it's a it's a perfect example actually we give out free game you guys decide

00:45:38.000 if it's good enough to share or not and it's shown over eight years that you guys care enough and think

00:45:43.180 it's good enough that you share it consistently which is reflected by the rankings that we have on

00:45:47.800 audio platforms right yeah so business is no different you you you're looking for a competitive

00:45:55.240 advantage and often you're looking in your product you're looking at whatever your widget is you're

00:45:59.560 like my widget's got to be lighter faster more powerful yes it does have to be and you should

00:46:03.880 always innovate those things but if you're overlooking the experience bro you're gonna get

00:46:08.360 crushed by someone who fucking does that you're gonna get crushed by them so like for and this is 0.98

00:46:13.880 where it's cheap it doesn't cost a lot of money it's just hard and it takes a lot to be effective 0.98

00:46:19.080 but like bro what happens if you can build that from day one where you are like 24 years ago

00:46:24.580 no because i didn't start even understanding that until i was 11 12 years into the business 0.99

00:46:28.580 so where would i have been had i understood that then knew that in the beginning yeah fuck yeah you 0.90

00:46:33.460 see what i'm saying yeah like bro you guys i think anyone who's starting a business i would switch 1.00

00:46:38.660 places like this is no bullshit that question for every single motherfucker listening to the show 0.99

00:46:44.840 every single fucking one of you i would switch places with you in that scenario if i could start 1.00

00:46:50.720 over today with everything i know and give everything up i would start over in a fucking 0.99

00:46:55.380 second because i know exactly how i would do it i know exactly how it would work i know exactly how i 0.94

00:47:00.820 could save the first 10 years and i'm telling you how to do that for fucking free here that's it so 0.96

00:47:06.220 you know a lot of you guys think that's bullshit but like it ain't if i could have the time back and 0.99

00:47:11.460 the knowledge bro come on it wouldn't even be fair no but that's a testament to how fucking 0.97

00:47:17.740 that's a testament just like the last question where like you guys feel like that might be a

00:47:22.240 knock or discouragement no it's a testament to your actual potential and what you're capable of doing

00:47:27.820 right now in this environment which is amazing like you you guys have more opportunity and more

00:47:32.640 potential right now than any generation that's ever fucking exists in entrepreneurship ever ever ever 0.89

00:47:39.320 it's never been easier so in one aspect you're saying it's it's still fucking tough but it's 0.69

00:47:46.460 never been easier to do it's tough to understand the fundamentals the proper way and execute them

00:47:51.680 yeah it's never been easier to get people's attention and get them as customers that's what

00:47:56.400 i'm trying to say now you have to exercise some discipline to what i just said like do you want

00:48:01.420 everybody do you like now on your widget company that you just started you want everybody looking at 0.99

00:48:05.620 your bullshit widgets no or would you like your widgets to be fuck quality before you show them 0.98

00:48:10.140 to be fucking undeniable do you want people when they order your widgets to get the widget three 1.00

00:48:14.940 months from now or do you want them to get it tomorrow tomorrow yeah it'd probably be a good idea a good 0.97

00:48:19.700 idea to fix those two items and create a great experience before you start asking for the digital

00:48:24.620 attention that we can get so easily now yeah that's real that's the point i'm trying to make

00:48:28.220 love it man uh guys andy our third and final question now now dude also that's something i

00:48:34.920 didn't have to worry about then i didn't have to worry about that you mean the spotlight understand

00:48:39.940 how fucking powerful what i just gave you is i didn't have to worry about that because there was 0.94

00:48:44.780 no social there was no way for me to get mass attention back then didn't exist we're talking 1999 0.93

00:48:50.760 2000 2001 didn't exist it was unaffordable to us i could have ran ads we couldn't do it yeah

00:48:56.840 now i was forced i was forced to learn what i just explained meaning build good products do the

00:49:07.400 best you can with service relate to your customers create amazing experience etc etc etc right i was 0.75

00:49:13.720 forced to learn that over time nowadays people can start a fucking instagram and get with a good 0.89

00:49:19.860 digital marketer and get hundreds of thousands of people looking at them not understand and i see this 0.98

00:49:25.500 allow a personal brands how many personal brands do we see of these young kids that are 22 years old 0.99

00:49:31.040 life coaching they then get blown up for being full of shit and their name is ruined forever yeah okay so 0.98

00:49:37.880 they don't understand the lesson that i just gave they don't understand the power of negative attention 0.99

00:49:43.080 when you're not ready to get the attention you see what i'm saying so like dude it's important for 0.99

00:49:48.840 you to realize how valuable what i just explained to you is build your shit 0.99

00:49:55.500 build good systems be confident in them test them make sure there's no holes in the bucket 0.98

00:50:00.480 then start pouring some in and see if there's any holes then when there's no holes there start pouring

00:50:07.120 a little more in when i say pouring i'm talking about digital attention that we can buy very cheaply 0.99

00:50:11.660 does it make sense yes sir all right absolutely it's important shit 0.71

00:50:15.520 well i mean but you also go pretty deep into those concepts and systems and rt though too right 0.87

00:50:21.980 yeah of course yeah yeah like dude listen i'm giving you the fucking tip here all right this is just a 1.00

00:50:27.200 fucking tip you want the girl that's the game we're playing yeah you want me to fuck the shit out of 1.00

00:50:30.880 you you come into fucking rt it's the truth it's a fucking truth i don't know how to say it any better 1.00

00:50:37.300 that's first base that's it yeah yeah and then that's not even the value of rt the value of rt 0.99

00:50:44.180 is that you're fucking surrounded by fucking thousands of other people that have the same 0.95

00:50:48.640 fucking goal as you that actually want to help not only do they actually want to help they actually 0.99

00:50:53.220 want to be a good a good uh influence on the world yeah but like bro the point is you know 0.99

00:50:58.600 you can align with people who fucking are on the same journey as you how much help 0.78

00:51:05.560 like i can just tell you you don't know because you haven't been on the journey but i can tell you 0.77

00:51:09.340 this the few key people that i was aligned with along the way of my journey are the reason i'm

00:51:14.740 successful like that's it like i had a fucking three or four key people in our industry that guided me 0.97

00:51:20.300 down the path and like without them i wouldn't have been anywhere i i would have fucked it all up 0.98

00:51:25.320 you know so i got lucky to have and meet a couple of those people that were friendly to me and

00:51:30.840 treating me good but you could accelerate that by you know a group you know

00:51:35.540 a group scenario with a network like that yeah absolutely guys andy our third and final

00:51:41.320 question uh question number three andy after listening to the q a f uh episode on visualization

00:51:47.760 i realized that i am a victim of why does this shit always happen to me all the time my brain 0.77

00:51:55.100 constantly goes straight to the negative outcome multiple times a day i keep thinking of the worst 0.93

00:51:59.620 scenarios and if anything goes wrong my brain says see see i knew that uh i knew this bad 0.77

00:52:05.380 shit would happen i feel like i'm always constantly trying to fight the feeling of a victim mentality 0.97

00:52:10.100 what's the best way to overcome the constant influx of negative thoughts man you're in a negative 0.97

00:52:16.880 feedback loop so you're you're in a negative thought feedback loop so what's happening for you

00:52:21.440 is that you have identified these negative things that you were looking at and when the negative when 0.67

00:52:27.360 the thing happens you're saying see i fucking told you right which sets an expectation 0.96

00:52:31.880 you get what you expect this is how the universe works when i talk about law of attraction visualization 0.83

00:52:37.860 oftentimes i also talk about expecting the result okay so what happens is we develop this perspective of 0.99

00:52:47.020 looking at things and saying well this always happened to me fuck this fucked up and then 0.99

00:52:52.140 the next day something minor happens like something not big no it's not a huge deal something else happens 1.00

00:52:59.600 and we look at it and we say fuck see this always happens to me and eventually what happens is you 1.00

00:53:04.920 train your fucking brain to look for anything that can fit in that fucking square hole that you're 1.00

00:53:11.640 fitting the injustices into does that make sense okay so when you when you create this negative feedback 1.00

00:53:17.940 loop it is very difficult to move out of now what you have to do to move out of it the first thing i would

00:53:24.720 recommend bro is that you do 75 hard the reason that i recommend that you do it is because you're 0.86

00:53:30.920 going to be fucking sore and you're going to be fucking tired and you're not going to have a whole 0.97

00:53:34.660 lot of time to dwell on all the bad shit all right so a lot of times we just need distractions from 0.99

00:53:39.940 shit to remind us that this shit is the volume is actually way down on this okay so when you make 0.99

00:53:45.840 your life a little bit fucking more difficult the things that seem hard or bad actually get the volume 0.99

00:53:51.200 turned down on them yeah does that make sense absolutely all right so and the key is to 0.96

00:53:56.180 eventually replace this with a positive feedback loop and so while you're doing 75 hard i would 0.97

00:54:02.020 ask you to visualize the whole time about all the shit you're wanting to become who is you're becoming 0.93

00:54:07.420 and then taking inventory and knowing every single day that you wake up i did that yesterday i'm better 0.98

00:54:11.960 than i was yesterday that's a big aspect of the program i am better than i was yesterday and i'm speaking 0.87

00:54:18.840 about me today i am better than i was yesterday because yesterday i fucking did my work and i'm 0.98

00:54:24.180 much better than i was two days ago or three days ago because i did my work all three of those days

00:54:27.860 so now i get to look back and say well i may not be where i want to be but i am absolutely 100%

00:54:34.400 moving in the right direction that helps us break that negative feedback loop does that make sense

00:54:38.840 absolutely okay and then also understanding realistic expectations of life okay so many people go through life

00:54:46.320 i naturally suffer from pretty high anxiety levels because i'm high strung

00:54:53.000 when i start when anxiety starts to become a problem for me i start to look for ways to eliminate anxiety

00:55:00.760 but that's the wrong way to look at it because dude anxiety is a is a natural part of every single

00:55:07.640 fucking human being's actual day there's not a single person that goes through the day without some 0.89

00:55:13.280 sort of fucking anxiety it's just normal okay so when you start looking to go through a day with 1.00

00:55:19.020 no anxiety and then you get a little bit it gets amplified to be the end of the world and you start 1.00

00:55:24.600 saying see these fucking god hates me dude he made me anxious today look at this shit always and it 0.99

00:55:30.860 becomes this so we have to have realistic expectations that we are going to experience struggle we are going 1.00

00:55:38.500 to experience hard things regardless of how much we're trying or how much good we're doing it's it's 0.96

00:55:45.040 the nature of the fucking beast so my answer is you know first you know be aware that you're doing this 0.98

00:55:51.660 to yourself second get yourself uh nice and tired and sore and fucking focus on something else 0.98

00:55:57.380 third part of uh live hard 75 hard which that it's for free it's episode 208 is reading reading is a big 0.93

00:56:06.160 reading is a big help to help you break these negative feedback loops because you're putting 0.99

00:56:11.160 positive shit in your fucking brain all right how can you be negative when you got positive shit 1.00

00:56:16.560 coming in well you can be but if you put enough positive shit in your brain you actually allow 1.00

00:56:20.480 yourself to be absorbed in the book it helps tremendously yeah all right uh fourth pay attention 0.94

00:56:25.680 and give yourself credit for the progress that you are making and understand that you could feel

00:56:30.980 pretty good when you know i'm absolutely better than i was yesterday like i'm absolutely a better

00:56:35.660 humor like right now i'm speaking for me because i'm on 75 hard i'm day 15 and i'm doing it with

00:56:40.200 a lot of intent uh high high intent and i'm much better person than i was a week ago it's it's a 0.90

00:56:48.680 fucking undeniable fact i just am i've learned more i've done more work i'm i got better body comp 0.95

00:56:56.140 like i'm healthier like you see what i'm saying yeah like it's undeniable i cannot fucking argue 0.99

00:57:03.040 with it it's real shit all right and when we're in that place it's kind of hard to fuck with people 0.97

00:57:08.680 like that all right so just be aware and then work to break through it i wish there was an easy 0.99

00:57:14.800 uh thing to say hey you know just snap your fingers you're thinking about stuff stupid but i've been in

00:57:20.860 these things too so is everybody else listening we all know how hard it is to reframe our mind but one of 0.98

00:57:24.900 the things that you need to really do and what's helped me is is it's it's little bites at a time

00:57:29.940 this is why the power list is so important too if you follow a power list um you could actually look

00:57:36.000 back over the course of your last week because as someone who wants to achieve more be more do more

00:57:41.420 become more we naturally have this this drive that we're not good enough because that's what makes us

00:57:48.540 want to be more all right so if we always have this piece of us that says we're not good enough

00:57:52.780 that's driving us to be more that means that that piece of us is not good enough oftentimes 0.97

00:57:57.680 convinces us that we're really pieces of shit so we have to remind ourselves of the work that we 0.99

00:58:02.820 actually do to say no i'm actually not a piece of shit i might have been way back then but i'm doing 0.99

00:58:08.680 what the fuck i can do right now and you need to feel good about it and that can help break a feedback 0.92

00:58:12.060 loop um sometimes it naturally fades out and i think all the things i recommend if you did that for 0.98

00:58:18.400 just two weeks bro you're gonna find yourself in a complete different mental state yeah that's real

00:58:22.500 man i love it man well guys andy that was three yeah that's three go pay the fee 1.00

00:58:29.100 went from sleeping on the floor now my jewelry box froze fuck a pole fuck a stole counted millions in 1.00

00:58:36.240 the cold bad bitch booted swole got her on bankroll can't fold doesn't know headshot case close 1.00

00:58:43.440 close 1.00

00:58:43.860 close

00:58:47.820 close

00:58:49.900 close
