REAL AF with Andy Frisella - 490. Part 2 - Restoring High Personal Standards In America Ft. Dakota Meyer

00:00:00.000 welcome back guys this is part two with dakota meyer dude last time you were on the show

00:00:20.680 and you mentioned a date earlier when we were talking last time we were on the show people

00:00:25.560 wanting to hear how you won your medal of mine yeah so let's talk about that that's the date you

00:00:31.160 mentioned when we were talking earlier yeah so september 8 2009 so i was on it uh so i was over

00:00:35.720 in afghanistan on an embedded training team um it was four u.s and 80 afghans we lived on a base and

00:00:41.560 um you know it was a unique position i was four four u.s four u.s and 80 afghans yeah okay and so

00:00:48.620 we were attached to 10th mountain 10th mountain division which was an army unit um but we lived

00:00:54.300 on a base with it like a little corner base with just the afghans and uh i was actually a sniper

00:01:00.140 in the marines and um you know we i got detached from my unit to go on this and my team was i had

00:01:08.620 lieutenant johnson so he was a calm guy really awesome guy he was uh from he was from oregon but

00:01:15.020 grew up in virginia beach like just this awesome dude and then uh we had a gunny kenefic who uh just

00:01:21.580 from buffalo new york right just uh just an awesome awesome guy he was old man of the team

00:01:26.240 and um then we had doc layton who was my corpsman and then myself and uh you know so we went over

00:01:35.080 and we were in a place it was in eastern afghanistan so it wasn't i'm sure you heard of

00:01:40.360 the corngo valley so we were east of that right um in a in a valley is that where that uh documentary

00:01:48.020 restrepo so restrepo is from corngo yeah yeah so we were east of that right um and just a just a

00:01:54.440 really shitty place um and so like our job was to help mentor the afghan national army right to train

00:02:02.260 them to to help mentor them you know the theory behind it which obviously we see the results of

00:02:06.960 it now but the theory behind it is is that we train them up so that they can fight for their own

00:02:10.960 country and then we leave and they uphold it right didn't happen um so we we got called in on

00:02:18.680 september we got called on september 6th to go run a mission in this place called the ganggal valley

00:02:26.440 um ganggal valley is a a really really bad valley uh it's actually in a book called the bear went over

00:02:32.760 the mountain um and they're like used to slaughter like they slaughtered the russians like when the 1.00

00:02:36.900 russians would go in there they would kill them and they would cut their heads off and put them on 1.00

00:02:40.680 post outside the valley the impaler style yeah like like this is a fucking ruthless valley but it 0.99

00:02:46.240 was a it was a huge avenue for um like for the taliban they used it for like you know all their 0.66

00:02:53.760 shit right yeah movement it's a freedom of movement right and it was really close to another base that

00:02:58.320 we were next to like less than two miles from it right and so um something had happened i don't know 0.94

00:03:04.780 the whole backstory but like there had been a rocket drop killed one of their people and long story

00:03:09.840 short they came to us and said they wanted to renounce themselves from the taliban uh they they 0.99

00:03:14.440 basically were trying to say fuck the taliban like we want to start supporting the government right 0.99

00:03:18.120 so we were going to go in and do our typical yeah this is it right here um so we were going to go in 0.99

00:03:25.280 and do our typical um our typical yeah that's actually the thing um mission there that's actually

00:03:32.600 the route we took yeah so we were going to go in and uh so we were we were going to go into a

00:03:38.500 i've never even seen that so we were going to go into the valley and do a uh a a key leader

00:03:46.200 engagements what we call it so basically you sit down with the elders we kind of negotiate with

00:03:49.920 them like well what do you need from us to be like that scene they show in 12 strong where they're 0.75

00:03:54.940 sitting there and they're yeah rice and yeah like some liquor and shit and they're having a conversation 0.69

00:03:59.160 yeah so we and we did this all the time right like we we go in we you know i mean look like the best 0.89

00:04:04.760 place to communicate face to face with the elders and over a meal right um and so we were going to

00:04:10.560 go in and see what we needed to do to help support them so the mission was that that that we would go

00:04:16.420 in um and it it was supposed to go on the seventh and it got pushed off to the eighth and you know this

00:04:24.220 is always dangerous when you're working with counterparts local national counterparts because they

00:04:29.500 don't have um they're not as discreet about things they know the plan well they know the plan and like

00:04:35.700 i don't want to make them sound bad like like sometimes they loose lips sink ships yeah loose

00:04:40.560 lips right and sometimes they tell people um because they're excited right like they're excited to run a

00:04:46.500 mission you know what i mean sometimes they do that and you know and guess what it gets leaked

00:04:50.000 um i think the afghan national police the afghan border patrol one of the two border patrol is the worst

00:04:56.900 national police are terrible as well but um they leaked the mission um and it got pushed over to

00:05:03.500 the eighth which is hard to do which is not good so that morning we got up and i had had i'd had some

00:05:12.100 issues with the mission the way it was planned i was the youngest person in the room the 21 of it

00:05:17.300 yeah i was 21 at the time and i was the youngest person in the room right um i'd had some problems with

00:05:22.140 the way it was planned uh i had problems with the fact that we didn't have um we like our com plan

00:05:29.300 uh we were everybody was on one frequency i i thought that was dumb i thought that we had snipers

00:05:35.040 at 2 000 meters out of their range of you know using their weapon systems was dumb um and i i didn't my 0.95

00:05:42.060 biggest problem was why weren't we bringing the vehicles in with us um because if shit hit the fan we 0.98

00:05:49.200 would at least have some armor and big guns in there and the response that they gave me was 0.98

00:05:55.320 that we were going to go in clandestine right so it was a 90 man fucking patrol right clandestine yeah 0.95

00:06:03.360 right period right so anyways it's just incompetent leadership what that doesn't even go together 0.93

00:06:10.620 that well i'm i'm just quoting what they tell me right so uh my leadership i mean they didn't like

00:06:16.400 me anyways right uh and so they ended up leaving me so we were the mission was we're going to go in

00:06:24.260 and park the trucks and then they were going to walk in the rest of the way by foot so if you see

00:06:29.820 on there right so number one um number one is where we would park well a little bit before number one was

00:06:35.900 right this linked on on relay for you guys also so you guys can see it so number one is about the area

00:06:41.380 uh that we staged our vehicles i mean i know it says objective rally point back there maybe it was

00:06:46.960 a little bit but like one was about the area so we came in that morning and parked the trucks

00:06:51.140 and like they took me out of my team and replaced me as a guy named gunnery siren johnson gunny johnson

00:06:57.800 was a good dude just uh just an awesome guy and um they replaced me at gunny johnson and kind of like

00:07:05.120 my punishment and stuff was to sit at the at the trucks the vehicles while they went in and ran the

00:07:10.560 mission you know like this is the punishment for you sort of yeah causing a fuss yeah okay and um

00:07:16.620 so i was i was sitting with the trucks and on the way in that morning you know i was in the up gun

00:07:24.020 and uh kennethick was driving lieutenant johnson was in the passenger seat doc layton was in the back and

00:07:30.220 then uh uh fazel our interpreter was in there you know we have our headsets on and we're rolling in

00:07:35.540 and you know that whole time usually going in running missions the whole time going in it's

00:07:41.440 kind of like uh like your warm-up to a game right like we're talking about hey what's the object like

00:07:46.840 what's the objective rally point what's your checkpoints like what's our call for fire targets

00:07:50.260 hey we take fire on the east what's your on-call target that you're going to move off of you know

00:07:54.740 like just kind of rehearsing dude we never mentioned the patrol going in all we talked about was home

00:08:01.860 like all we talked about was coming home like couldn't wait to get home we'd been in a really

00:08:08.200 really bad gunfight on the 6th um and all we could talk about was just like man like well how we were

00:08:15.680 gonna drink beer when we got home who was buying the beer like all this stuff right and and it tells

00:08:20.060 me everything i need to know that like everybody was fucking scared and and like knew this was a 0.94

00:08:26.500 bad idea it was hot shit was hot yeah right and so we we came in that morning we parked it at the 0.95

00:08:33.180 number one right there at the objective rally point call it a release point on this map yeah yeah so so 0.95

00:08:38.400 just yeah so like that yeah so release point over objective rally point whatever it's about the same

00:08:44.620 area so we we parked our trucks there and uh the guys got out we parked and and they all got out

00:08:51.340 and uh i'll never forget kennefic was starting to walk off and he said my i'll see you on the flip side

00:08:56.080 and uh it was it was so dark and so they started to walk this is that night no so it's about 3 30 4 in

00:09:04.860 the morning okay yeah so it's still dark still dark right pitch black and so i've got a thermal device

00:09:09.640 and i'm like watching the hills i mean it's like a bowl right and i'm watching the hills and like i

00:09:16.120 see people going to the hills and like they ain't working out like i mean this ain't it ain't nothing

00:09:21.480 new yeah they're not rucking they ain't no they're 75 hard yeah they ain't 75 they don't they don't know

00:09:26.640 andy you know what i mean um you know so they uh i started calling out and i was told to get off the

00:09:33.660 radio right check roger so my team goes in and um the village is up there about where 11 is and so my

00:09:45.860 team was in the front of the patrol and uh they start walking in and as soon as they get to the edge of

00:09:58.480 the village all the lights in the village shut off simultaneously and uh i mean it was like on

00:10:04.700 yeah so come to find out so it started right then yeah so and usually like it was like a normal gun

00:10:10.940 fight right in a normal gun fight like you know they start shooting you start shooting right you you 0.98

00:10:16.000 kind of so instantly you for you guys knew instantly they knew you were coming oh fuck yeah yeah yeah and so 0.88

00:10:22.940 in you know with it usually they would shoot at you when you left so the fact that they shot at us 0.94

00:10:31.320 when we got there we knew we'd been set up like there was no doubt there was no leaving yeah it was

00:10:38.540 fucking on right and and you better like yeah and a patrol this big like you know i mean there's 90 of 0.69

00:10:45.260 us you know i mean like they're they're prepared so what they had done was is they had leaked over our 0.97

00:10:50.920 our exact map of where we were going to put our overwatch positions and stuff and they had set up

00:10:56.000 above our overwatch positions to be able to keep them pinned down and they had infiltrated the entire

00:11:01.580 village right so before kind of and again i i jump around it's a long story but like before the the

00:11:10.340 fighting had started there was all these sheep and like people were leaving the village and i knew what

00:11:15.620 that meant like listen this ain't my first rodeo like they were getting all their what they

00:11:20.800 cared about out of there right and like this one guy so i would always try to go up and talk to him

00:11:24.980 a little bit and just kind of fill them out and and like they wouldn't even wouldn't even talk to me 0.82

00:11:29.620 right so you knew no doubt that shit's bad right and um it's all of a sudden the gunfight kicks off 0.94

00:11:37.480 and uh and you know usually in any gunfight they they always throw the kitchen sink at you in the 0.99

00:11:45.360 beginning and then it's like they start i mean they can't they don't have resupply and shit like that 0.75

00:11:49.960 right you know i mean no you know i mean most time but like this one i mean it was like nothing

00:11:56.940 it was not slowing down it was like one afternoon so you knew it was planned right it wasn't just some 0.77

00:12:01.600 shithead in his house with two mags right um and we had you know we had mortars rockets i mean they 0.72

00:12:08.000 were sending it all so we kind of start figuring out where everybody's at and you know we tried to call 0.78

00:12:14.020 on-call targets and and um you know i it was normal chatter back and forth and then you know i

00:12:24.820 you know they started calling in artillery which is the first thing they usually do right we started

00:12:30.720 requesting uh close arm uh cast right uh you know with with helicopters we usually we get kai was there

00:12:39.100 um and they just kept telling us 15 minutes on on air right that's the great thing about fighting 1.00

00:12:46.960 for the united states of america is we have fucking air right and when you start getting your ass kicked 0.98

00:12:51.320 you call air and then it's not fair anymore and and you know we we win right that's that's why it's 0.99

00:12:56.640 great to be an american and um it kept saying 15 minutes 15 minutes 15 minutes and it just was

00:13:03.760 delayed and so you know eventually i heard lieutenant johnson come over the radio and he was

00:13:12.220 at about probably a let maybe just go down go down i think nine is where i found him at yeah go down

00:13:20.700 so nine is the courtyard um trenches so so i it was below a little bit below nine so go up a little bit

00:13:30.680 yeah so eight was where a school was right so there was a school over there and what they were

00:13:35.260 doing they had that thing full of people and there was there was literally trenches all the way around

00:13:40.300 this thing that they were dug in i mean this place is built for fighting right and it's like stair steps

00:13:44.860 all the way up it of terraces and i heard lieutenant johnson come over the radio and he said i need to

00:13:53.100 support artillery mission which is normal and he requested for it he was trying to put munitions

00:14:00.340 between him and the village to basically give him you know cover so that they could exfil right and

00:14:07.920 he gave this he gave a grid that was spot on and the response he got back was it's too close to the

00:14:18.380 village now what we didn't know was that about 30 45 days before this stanley mccrystal had put in a

00:14:25.440 rule of engagement that stated that you could not fire munitions within a certain radius of a village

00:14:30.620 unless you had now you ready for this unless you had gone through and made sure that there were only

00:14:37.800 enemy combatants that that all the that all the friendlies were out of it the only enemy you're 0.99

00:14:42.940 supposed to do yeah hex those motherfuckers riddle me that right do you believe the taliban knew that 1.00

00:14:47.640 also uh yeah oh oh for sure yeah like they knew that new order was yeah they're watching the shit 1.00

00:14:52.940 they're watching they watch everything they fucking know right i mean you know um so bro that's what 0.99

00:14:59.400 you get when you get people in washington making fucking decisions dude 100 yeah but i go i don't i 0.97

00:15:04.280 don't i don't blame stanley mccrystal like i blame the people who listen to stanley mccrystal yeah 0.97

00:15:09.160 right like again like it goes back you know so anyways um because and i'm gonna give you a

00:15:17.480 perfect example of this so anyways he came my lieutenant johnson came over the radio me and

00:15:22.480 rodriguez chavez uh staff sergeant rodriguez chavez at the time we were sitting there listening to this

00:15:27.860 and he came back over the radio and he stated he said uh lieutenant johnson said if you don't give me

00:15:32.920 these rounds right now we're gonna die he said on the radio yep and the response i quote that

00:15:39.060 he got back was we'll try your best so it was it they said well try your best yes like they're

00:15:45.220 basically saying well do what you can yes and so at that point like i knew that nobody was gonna

00:15:50.820 fucking help and so me and rodriguez chavez like we gotta go do something so we requested three or 0.90

00:15:59.040 four times over the radio if we could go in each time told no by the command that was in there 0.98

00:16:04.420 and finally we just said that we're going in um because that's what like i i didn't i don't 0.95

00:16:11.320 like i don't like i asked you out of respecting your position but i'm still gonna fucking do it 0.98

00:16:18.460 right because it's the right thing to fucking do yeah and i knew for a fact that once we left that 0.90

00:16:25.180 position that if it wasn't as bad as i thought it was there would be consequences for it like i my career 0.90

00:16:31.720 would be ended like i'd be in so much fucking trouble um but i'll tell you this i'd rather be 0.96

00:16:37.400 like you not know me today and my teammates be alive yeah then to be standing here today knowing 0.85

00:16:42.840 that i did nothing and i blamed it because i was told not to just knowing you just knowing you you

00:16:49.100 wouldn't have been able to live with that well i wouldn't have right i got i gotta sleep at night

00:16:52.460 right so me and rodriguez chavez we headed in and um on the first trip in we got to

00:16:59.740 so we we went around as soon as we turned where three is at so it was like a big wall like it was

00:17:06.340 like a big huge terrace there you couldn't really see up in the valley but once we turned you took a

00:17:11.060 right where three was at right there and it was like a big riverbed probably 100 meters wide 0.99

00:17:15.020 and there were bodies everywhere like when i tell you taliban were running at the fucking vehicle 0.99

00:17:22.200 when i tell you that like there were motherfuckers everywhere like everywhere and so this was the 90 0.98

00:17:29.420 guys this was not just them like i mean it was like the enemy it was like my afghan soldiers right 1.00

00:17:36.760 i mean it was i mean it was just it was like fucking chaos i mean they were coming out walking out 0.97

00:17:41.480 look like the fucking walking dead right like carrying their guys i found my interpreter on 0.99

00:17:46.100 my way in and he'd been shot right and he's like he i i asked him i said fazel because he was with my 0.98

00:17:53.420 guys i said where are they at he's like they're still in there and so i said well will you help me

00:17:58.320 get them and he's like well absolutely right and um he had just gotten married and i'll never forget

00:18:03.960 like he like like he would he would like he like looked at his wedding ring and you know he was he

00:18:09.680 was just like you know if this is it is it right and um you know so as we we headed up in there i'd

00:18:16.900 heard kennefit come over the radio and he stated he needed a a medevac and so i knew that i always

00:18:25.400 carried a sharpie in my in my gear and so like if if i put a tourniquet on someone like i would write

00:18:31.020 on their forehead that they had a tourniquet on because like if you have a tourniquet on yeah well

00:18:36.240 the time of it but like when they're traveling places right like if you have a tourniquet on

00:18:40.680 your leg the first thing they're going to do is they're going to cover you up with a blanket to

00:18:43.640 keep you from going into shock and a lot of times if there's a mass casualty situation they don't

00:18:47.980 know you have a tourniquet on and they would have treated you already so at least it's on your forehead 0.98

00:18:51.440 because ain't nobody covering your fucking head up with a sheet right unless you're dead and so 0.99

00:18:55.420 we um i knew that i pulled that sharpie out and i was trying to write on the the metal turret 0.99

00:19:03.680 i knew if i could get the grid location then i would knew where he was and i'd be able to get

00:19:08.340 him and he got the first three numbers out and then like stopped and so we kept pushing up and

00:19:14.380 on the first trip we pushed up to about look where that red line is that dash line that dash line so we

00:19:22.780 pushed up at least to there and uh my 50 cal started going down it started shooting single shot because i was 0.98

00:19:30.880 shooting so much and um like these motherfuckers were running at the truck right like rodriguez 0.96

00:19:37.740 chavez i shot this guy in the front like i like when i couldn't move my my turret fast enough i'd 0.99

00:19:43.420 pull my m4 up and i'd shoot a motherfucker with my like my m4 right and i shot a guy in the front 1.00

00:19:47.920 and rodriguez chavez like he wouldn't stop the truck because if you did like it was fucked and so 1.00

00:19:52.400 he fucking hits this dude like shot this guy and he fucking hits this dude and i remember he looks at 0.99

00:19:57.500 he looked yelled at me he's like man i fucking hit one homie and uh i was like oh shit right 1.00

00:20:03.400 we're kind of laughing gotta laugh when the shit sucks yeah yeah and like it sounded like static was 0.99

00:20:09.420 over my head like so when around when like when you're getting shot at and like it gets close like 0.99

00:20:14.480 it literally sounds like a like that right there like a pen going through a piece of paper

00:20:18.260 and like it sounded like static because there was so so much gunfire right and some of it was

00:20:25.160 hitting like because they had the angle on you and like in the turret some of it was hitting in

00:20:29.800 the turret right like i mean it just didn't matter and uh i just never forget like i was like so not 0.97

00:20:38.840 only do you hear the fucking static bro you're hearing all the fucking hits on the armor you can 0.98

00:20:42.520 feel you can feel the fucking like like when it hits like you know like when you shoot a piece of 1.00

00:20:48.960 steel yeah and like it the bullet you can feel the shit coming off that's fucking crazy and um 1.00

00:20:55.160 i remember just thinking like which round is it going to be that's going to hit me in the fucking 0.99

00:21:00.260 face right like you know it's one thing to shoot back at somebody but it's another like the person 1.00

00:21:07.240 who wins is the motherfucker who keeps his face on the gun that's the hardest discipline you got 0.99

00:21:12.100 right like anybody can anybody can do this right anybody can like shoot rounds but man like they gotta 0.99

00:21:19.340 be effective and so like i was just trying my best like there were times that like gosh it got so bad 0.89

00:21:24.620 that like i would sit down on the strap and be like fuck man and um so we pushed up my my gun went 0.91

00:21:31.860 down to single shot and so we had to turn around and on the way out we went out and we got we had to 0.92

00:21:38.100 get another truck and we established a casualty collection point down there where number two is

00:21:43.220 and so what we did on the second trip in what's the scale from one to eleven like how much distance is

00:21:51.140 that so it's probably a mile from one to three okay and probably miles for the whole thing probably

00:21:58.500 okay yeah about that all right and so um so number two number two probably yeah so number two so rod went

00:22:07.440 and got a truck and on his way back in we we had the afghan national army trucks we asked them to bring

00:22:14.760 in um their pickup trucks and so they brought them in behind us and so my my interpreter he ended up

00:22:21.280 taking over the gun for me right and i would get out of the truck and i would so when we came in we

00:22:27.140 turn up three where three is and we come up the valley and you'd start hearing where you'd see like

00:22:32.640 so the afghan soldiers in the beginning when they seen me they would run to me like they would stand up 0.75

00:22:38.360 they were so like like helps here and they just get fucking like like they were just trying to get 0.94

00:22:43.500 to us and they just get mowed down like they just get fucking like like i mean like these guys had 0.96

00:22:47.940 them dialed in yeah they're shooting everybody to stand in yeah and so on the second trip in they what 0.98

00:22:53.660 they would do is they would raise their foot up right like they would raise their foot and uh or like

00:22:58.640 they would do something to let you know that they're alive and so i would jump out with my med bag and

00:23:02.840 i'd try to get to them and and you know i i would put tourniquets on the one that i could um and that

00:23:08.840 was really all i could do man like like i would put tourniquets to try to stop the bleeding but like

00:23:13.220 in that position it's it's there's not like i would i mean i would sit with some of them like as they

00:23:19.420 died right like i would you know i would do as best as i could until they died and what i would do is i'd 0.89

00:23:24.300 drag them back to the road and then i would throw them in the back of the truck and i would put the dead

00:23:28.380 ones on the bottom and then i put the ones who had a chance to live on top of that and then

00:23:32.820 we would send them out all the way out right and uh so we did that for about two trips

00:23:40.980 and um then on the last trip in so finally helicopters showed up right uh about about

00:23:51.220 our second trip they showed up like two of them came in but like they were there for maybe

00:23:56.180 five minutes and they were empty right like they just unloaded everything they had to go back and 0.70

00:24:01.240 resupply and then i i ended up coming over the radio nobody wanted to fucking do it but i finally 0.94

00:24:08.360 came over the radio and i said that we have four u.s missing because i knew that that when you say 0.54

00:24:16.080 that there's a level of urgency yeah i mean i got resources for days but i but i have to have a reason

00:24:21.600 to say it right yeah you talk about playing with fire like there's going to be an investigation i mean

00:24:26.000 it's going to be you talk about all eyes on it so like you don't want to just say it but once i figured

00:24:31.500 out that they were truly missing and didn't have comms with them like i i said it right and so you're

00:24:36.440 going to get pjs i mean it's going to like so at one point in time we had uh four four kiwas on station

00:24:44.560 two apaches on station we had two fast movers on station which are airplanes and then we had a set

00:24:52.260 of pjs coming to help right and so you know i mean you get resources for days and so uh on the last

00:25:00.220 trip in you know we did this back and forth a few trips and on the last trip in uh these so what

00:25:06.560 happened is these helicopters would fly over at the time they showed up and they would go spot

00:25:10.400 and so wherever they were i knew under them was a was a body that that we needed to get and so i

00:25:16.720 would run over and grab them and pull them back and you know and on the last trip in um they said

00:25:22.820 that they had found these pjs came in and they said that they had found they said five bodies in this

00:25:28.020 trench and so i thought it was just another you know another set of bodies and i truly believe that 0.97

00:25:33.720 my teammates had pushed up and got into a house and you know held on to a fucking house right that's what 0.96

00:25:39.160 i thought they had done and uh so we pull up we stop and i jump out of the truck and i take off 0.59

00:25:46.860 running so i asked them so they said the pj said it was too dangerous for them to land and grab them

00:25:51.480 so i said hey spot it or i asked swenson to have them spot it with smoke so they dropped a thing of

00:25:57.120 smoke on top of this terrace and so i took off fucking sprinting and i jumped off this terrace and it 0.97

00:26:02.360 was probably four or five feet tall and like i landed in this ditch line right and um and i landed 0.92

00:26:09.480 on top of gunnery sergeant johnson and then i went to the left a little bit and doc layton was

00:26:14.940 all of his med gear was scattered out and he was laying face down on top of lieutenant johnson

00:26:20.340 he'd been working on him and then i went a little bit further around this this uh trench and i found

00:26:26.780 um gunny kenefic and they had all been executed and stripped of their gear and um so i uh like i 0.97

00:26:37.080 just you know i mean it's like fuck man like this can't like you know you you you guess to lose one 0.99

00:26:43.320 but like you know the whole team to lose fucking like like all of them um so i called over the radio 0.99

00:26:51.780 and said hey the the four the four the four am missing are now confirmed killed and um i reached 0.97

00:26:59.220 down i'll never forget i went to pick up gunny johnson and you know i did i mean i had drug out

00:27:05.020 you know a few people but before this and been going all day and like man like i reached down to grab

00:27:11.380 him and like i picked him up on my shoulder and uh to carry him out and like i fell flat on my face

00:27:17.880 it was like all the adrenaline was gone and um i'll never forget that like one of the most impactful

00:27:25.140 moments of that day is like i just fell and like i had him on top of me and um i rolled him over to

00:27:32.220 pick him up again and uh the afghans were were came in my afghan soldiers and they came up to me and 0.71

00:27:40.080 they said let me let me help you and i said don't don't fucking touch my guys like like i'll i'll finish 0.99

00:27:45.580 this and they begged and they like this this guy looked at me and he said uh he said you know you 0.94

00:27:51.160 stayed around to help us carry our debt out and we're going to stay here to help you carry your

00:27:55.840 debt out and and it was it was pretty cool right and so i i they helped me get my guys um we we moved

00:28:03.280 them we we put them in the back of these trucks and uh we put um it was it was layton and gunny

00:28:14.000 gunny johnson we put in the first truck out and then i picked up kenefic and and uh kenefic and

00:28:19.820 lieutenant johnson and we put them in the second truck and then i just jumped in the truck because

00:28:23.540 to me like the fucking day's over right like i just jumped in the back of the truck i had an afghan 0.98

00:28:28.100 driver and we just left the patrol and went went on back and man as i was driving out um i got so a 0.97

00:28:35.460 little bit past number one right there and on the way out and um the whole village was standing there 0.99

00:28:41.520 fucking laughing at me like just laughing like pointing like fucking laughing flipping me off on 0.96

00:28:47.660 the way out and like i pulled my gun up and like lieutenant or uh not lieutenant johnson but uh 0.99

00:28:53.440 but doc uh or not doc but um fazel fazel is like it ain't worth it it ain't fucking worth it you know 0.96

00:29:01.220 what i mean and like i was so like so fucking pissed at him and uh so we we go back and i put 0.98

00:29:08.720 you know we we had to go to the freezers so we put the guys in the freezers uh got all their stuff 0.67

00:29:14.700 all their personal belongings out we put them on the helicopters with the pjs to go back and then 0.98

00:29:19.340 i went over to the afghan national army side of the base and helped them do the same with their dad

00:29:24.040 and uh then i went and and ate some ate some lunch you know it's a but i mean you know man it was a it

00:29:33.780 it was a shitty day right um but man like you know i i learned so much about it right like i learned so

00:29:41.160 much about myself like that day literally forever changed my existence right and and um you know i i

00:29:49.400 miss my teammates right and then you know i got sent home i was in another gunfight four days later

00:29:56.040 that was almost as big just as big um i got sent home around thanksgiving weekend i think i got home

00:30:03.600 back december 5th um taking us necessary risk is what it was called um i got sent home and and you

00:30:12.380 know like i love the marine corps like like i had gone on this deployment to put in a package uh to to go

00:30:20.640 i wanted to go to the selection for for uh marsoc right like i wanted to dude i wanted to be an

00:30:26.200 operator like i love being a marine i thought that the rest of my life i would be a marine um i mean

00:30:31.640 i loved it like i love being a sniper uh i loved what we stood for what we fought for like i loved it

00:30:36.800 and um you know literally lost not only my job not only my teammates um you know what i thought was my

00:30:45.860 future right and uh you know but but it's but it's been the biggest lesson for me that that failure

00:30:53.060 that day has been the biggest lesson to me to make sure that that of who i am going forward right like

00:31:01.020 i mean i failed my teammates that day right like people are like oh well you didn't you did the

00:31:05.260 best you could well a lot like i don't i don't like like you know when tom brady loses the super 0.96

00:31:10.140 bowl motherfucker tried as hard as he could well you're looking at it from a team standpoint well you 0.95

00:31:15.440 know from an individual standpoint had you done any i mean bro you would have been with right there 0.99

00:31:22.100 with them we wouldn't even know each other you're you're you're right you're 100 right but but for me

00:31:27.700 like i don't change the narrative like i went in that day to go save my teammates yeah and and i don't

00:31:32.940 change the narrative because it doesn't fucking feel good right that's right but i use it as like you 0.97

00:31:38.740 won't beat me because like unless you're willing to kill me like you ain't gonna fucking beat me 0.98

00:31:44.020 because i know like how far i'm willing to go to lose yeah right and i know what that loss feels 0.97

00:31:49.760 like and and in like you know i watch my teammates and i went a long time you know when i talk about

00:31:57.160 these excuses when i talk about like you know who you surround yourself with personal accountability

00:32:02.520 like i'll give you an example like i came back from this and and people looked at me and they're 1.00

00:32:07.620 like man i couldn't imagine what you gone through right like i was a drunk asshole piece of shit man 0.99

00:32:12.820 after yeah came home ptsd this you know what i mean like and had i been had i been dealt a bad hand 1.00

00:32:22.420 yeah yeah i had but but i was around people who weren't calling my bullshit right like it didn't 0.84

00:32:31.260 well it's a hard thing to call bro it's hard to call bullshit on on something that 0.84

00:32:35.680 most 99.99999 percent of human beings will never experience you you're right yeah you're right but 0.84

00:32:44.380 like but i get it too but but but i'll tell you this the biggest the most disgraceful thing that i ever 0.99

00:32:50.400 did was go through life and waste a day and justify me wasting a day and being a piece of shit by my 0.94

00:32:58.520 teammates sacrifices yeah you know this is this is a pretty cool story right here i was so you see 0.98

00:33:07.680 down there on the far left on that road that's our trucks so we were getting shot at this called hill

00:33:13.060 eight or uh yeah 1311 where we at right here no so go down to right by i'll take it yeah

00:33:19.160 yeah right there so that's our trucks so these guys were shooting at us and so my afghans were

00:33:26.560 like let's fucking chase these guys up the hill and go get them right and so we went up the hill 0.98

00:33:31.640 and like we fucked them up that's a big fucking hill it took us a while but uh we fucked them up man 1.00

00:33:37.580 like it was that was a good day yeah fuck bro that was a good day that's an intense fucking story dude 0.99

00:33:43.800 yeah man but but you know like it's just it's like it's a hand you're dealt right like what's next 0.99

00:33:48.840 i i dude i give you like the maximum level respect to take a situation like that and turn it into 0.98

00:33:54.880 something powerful to drive you to be a better fucking person like that's all you can fucking do 0.95

00:34:00.880 that's all you can do yeah right and like in that story that that day goes to waste um you know 0.98

00:34:08.300 it's why i don't wear my medal right like i mean i don't wear my medal i don't like i give it to my

00:34:13.180 my actually my oldest daughter has it and uh because like i'm not gonna live off that day

00:34:18.500 right like i was good one day yeah well what am i gonna do what am i doing today yeah i've never

00:34:23.560 heard you even talk about it yeah like ever yeah it was weird for that to you know even ask about it

00:34:28.280 because i've never heard you talk about it yeah because you know to me like you know all those

00:34:32.460 medals on my chest were you definitely in better shape now yeah dude i was so you want to be told what 0.97

00:34:38.160 the truth is that's right you're eating a little fucking you're eating pretty well there no and it's 0.97

00:34:42.260 and it's embarrassing right like that's the day that you know i i'm remembered as the most 0.98

00:34:46.460 and you know like people around me didn't tell me that people around like you don't have to go 0.98

00:34:51.920 through that day when i start if i start getting fat you better fucking tell me bro 100 so handy 0.95

00:34:56.300 yeah yeah man but um but yeah it's fucking crazy man yeah yeah it was a crazy day it was a crazy it's 0.99

00:35:04.560 it's hard to even believe anymore you know looking back um it was a crazy day yeah fuck now i heard 0.99

00:35:13.680 rumors real first bro all all love i don't even look like you do no it doesn't yeah was there something 0.96

00:35:19.780 about obama not inviting you to the ball or something like that because you were being it so

00:35:25.480 it wasn't him so there was like a there was actually a uh yeah so i was gonna go i got invited

00:35:31.580 to a marine corps ball uh but one of the ambassadors one of obama's ambassadors over and i think it's

00:35:36.700 iraq maybe yeah i think or afghanistan one of the two afghanistan yeah um they wouldn't like he he

00:35:42.860 refused to give me access to come the marines were stationed there and they wanted me to come to their

00:35:47.380 ball and he refused to give me access because i had criticized obama on his policies and stuff

00:35:52.900 so i didn't get to i didn't get to go to the ball that's great see and he's not far left

00:35:57.020 no i can't believe that right no like i'm actually no i'm saying i can't believe it they would deny 1.00

00:36:06.040 you access that's communist shit bro yeah that's bad shit you got a fucking guy who just won the 1.00

00:36:16.300 medal of honor the highest fucking award you can win yeah you're gonna allow him access not allow him 1.00

00:36:20.720 access to the ball yeah it was it was yeah because it was the ambassador's ball i guess or whatever right 0.92

00:36:26.220 and and yeah they didn't they didn't let me come because of that right i mean i mean it is what it 0.97

00:36:30.000 is right i mean look listen yeah i know but like it's just fucking that's fucked up yeah yeah yeah 0.96

00:36:36.520 crazy crazy day crazy day are those the go back to that are these are those terraces uh go back to 0.98

00:36:44.360 that picture i gotta pull it back up one second

00:36:45.780 what what is that picture that picture are those the terraces you're talking about in the background

00:36:54.860 yeah so in the background back there so like see those like that like that's all like all those

00:36:59.480 are terraces right like so that's what you gotta fight up so that's that's the part is that like

00:37:04.540 see see those walls yeah those are all terraces going up into it so they're all up on top of there 1.00

00:37:10.800 shooting down at you yeah like you're like running a gauntlet up it right fuck yeah that's a shit 0.99

00:37:16.480 joke fuck dude yeah i mean these these places are built to fight see if you can find another uh 1.00

00:37:22.220 picture of ganga valley fuck yeah i mean it's no fucking joke right is this whole thing did it last 0.99

00:37:28.880 long enough for daylight to come up or was it all in the dark no yeah it lasted uh i think it lasted 0.98

00:37:34.200 eight or nine hours oh okay yeah so the sun's coming up and then it's so you when you start it when

00:37:39.960 it all started it was dark and then it was light yeah it was like three three or four o'clock in

00:37:45.340 the afternoon damn and i remember i came back and like there was a reporter with us and so i knew it

00:37:50.140 was going to hit the news the next day and so what they do is when somebody gets killed when an american 0.93

00:37:54.500 gets killed they shut down they call it uh river city so they shut down all the comms until they

00:38:01.020 notify the families so i was afraid that my dad was going to hear about it so i i ran over to my

00:38:07.080 to my house or to my hooch where i was staying at i got on my computer and i skyped my dad and i just

00:38:12.220 said hey dad like um i know you're gonna hear i know yeah this is it so i know you're gonna hear

00:38:18.300 about this but hey i just wanted i just wanted to call you and let you know that i'm okay and my dad

00:38:23.680 said uh he said well how are your how are your team you know what about your guys and i said well they

00:38:29.280 didn't make it but like just know i'm okay and like and that was it right and hung up um but yeah so

00:38:34.640 that left side right there see the road so that left side was the the road that we were fighting

00:38:39.460 up uh yeah that one down are these terraces they made these terraces yeah yeah so they do it for

00:38:45.280 agriculture right so zoom in a little bit um see if you can zoom in that's the village to the right 0.82

00:38:51.440 there kind of right center yeah so so yeah so right there yeah got it so fuck yeah so that's it so go so 0.82

00:38:58.200 go come down so bro there's no equipment you could really take up there anyway so you can drive up that 0.93

00:39:03.840 you drive up the see the road right there yeah that's like a riverbed though yeah but it snakes

00:39:07.980 everything into the fuck to a target yeah like i i found uh yeah right so yeah so i found my teammates

00:39:15.660 and right there's a so go down a little bit um so see that see that path right there like it so 0.99

00:39:23.120 right there yeah come down a little bit the other way come to the left left left left left left left left

00:39:29.740 so right right there is where i found my teammates right so they were in that trench line but that 0.94

00:39:35.080 trench line leads up to a fucking house so like they literally built a trench line that goes around 0.81

00:39:40.140 that thing uh so that they could fight out of it for reference so like this like plateau right 0.99

00:39:45.900 compared to this what's the height difference there probably four feet at least so you can't take

00:39:51.820 like armored vehicles up that shit right no you'd have to stay on the road right yeah and they're 0.78

00:39:55.860 in there so that's why they did it yeah and so they're running around that right like and you'd 0.99

00:39:59.720 run up on a motherfucker and be three feet from him right you better be ready to get down yeah 1.00

00:40:03.280 fuck fuck yeah why the fuck are we even going in there like that seems like a place that you 1.00

00:40:10.660 would just hit with with with fucking other shit yeah yeah i mean it's it's a complex thing right 1.00

00:40:17.940 and after going i mean i'm no fucking military strategist after going into ukraine like i am proud 1.00

00:40:22.360 to be an american on how we fight yeah yeah i mean that's fucking you know i don't really ask 0.93

00:40:29.860 military guys to tell us their stories that much so like that's the first time anybody ever did that 0.96

00:40:34.460 on the show that was that was something else i could see why uh after kind of learning the mission

00:40:40.020 i could see why you had your objections to uh doing it that way yeah i mean look and i i'm not

00:40:45.620 like i'm not gonna say that that i could have changed the outcome of anything right like

00:40:49.920 everything yeah well i mean bro certain things are pretty fucking obvious yeah i mean you know 0.54

00:40:55.800 and people go like you know the marine court sometimes still has a problem with um that that

00:41:01.660 well i disobeyed orders right like that's still to this day yeah right like there's actually like

00:41:07.860 we understand why that's that's i mean i can understand why that's important yeah like because

00:41:13.520 you can't have people just disobeying orders to go do shit but there's a line no like and i and i 0.69

00:41:18.260 don't there's always a line there's always a line what there is right and at what cost right and and 0.97

00:41:23.720 and i look the thing that makes us a free society is is that we are a law abiding country right like

00:41:31.220 the laws are important yeah right right they like they're a double-edged sword right they keep us free

00:41:38.320 until they they don't make sense right like and they're used to to to to as a personal benefit right

00:41:46.160 right um but but yeah i mean look i don't i don't think anybody should disobey orders i think that

00:41:52.380 that everybody you know that obeying orders is what makes our military great but like i didn't i don't

00:41:59.360 feel like i disobeyed orders i feel like i made an educated decision right my my command had showed me

00:42:04.080 their incompetencies so many times up to that point that that you know i i didn't trust them to do the

00:42:10.000 right thing anyways right and i made an educated decision and i think that's what we should all do in life and

00:42:15.360 and you know you know the one thing that my dad like instilled in me was you know don't don't try 0.94

00:42:22.680 to keep up with the joneses right like don't don't look around and and try to like who gives a fuck what 0.79

00:42:27.840 anybody else says right like do do the right thing like you know like there's a lot of people like with

00:42:32.960 with our names our last names there's a lot of people who who had those last names before us i was

00:42:38.880 thinking about that uh i was thinking about that as you were telling the story i was thinking like

00:42:45.360 you know america needs to remember like the citizens of america all of you everybody needs to 0.97

00:42:51.740 remember that like motherfuckers have actually died for you to live yeah like they at some point on 0.97

00:42:58.500 some point in time if you trace back everything somebody died for you to live real talk 100 for every 0.99

00:43:07.560 single fucking citizen of this country and and and go even a little bit further like there's been 0.97

00:43:14.380 people before us every like all of us have had people sacrifice so that we could have what we have 0.98

00:43:21.920 yeah seen and unseen right seen and unseen right like i i look at people who live off of generational 0.98

00:43:29.240 wealth there's some broke motherfucker that sacrificed all of his freedom all of his time all of his like 1.00

00:43:36.380 busted his ass so that you could fucking live the life you live right like like you know i i that's 1.00

00:43:43.220 something that people should take more seriously one that's that's something that i have i have that 1.00

00:43:48.160 yeah in me because my dad never met his dad so my my dad never met his actual dad his actual dad

00:43:56.560 was killed uh shortly after normandy in world war ii uh and he never met him and so

00:44:03.980 when i think about that and i think like when i think about my life i've always had that like i've

00:44:10.640 always had that thought i'm like well fuck dude this guy one one separate one generation removed from 0.99

00:44:16.520 me basically uh two generations right like my grandpa fucking died for me to even have the 0.98

00:44:23.500 opportunity to to do this life yeah and that's something i've always had and taken seriously and 0.94

00:44:28.920 i i never thought like like to me that's obvious like i don't forget that you get what i'm saying

00:44:34.700 because it's like in my family it's not something i forget and i assume sometimes that everybody

00:44:41.060 fucking gets that but like they don't and and that's that's where my fault is i think in some 0.77

00:44:45.800 of the things i think about yeah well yeah and and like we have to you have to go tell your story 0.99

00:44:54.380 you have to tell your story like we all have to tell our stories right like you know i see a lot

00:44:58.680 of people criticize seals coming back and telling their stories or whatever right and it's like

00:45:02.540 this matters because i'll tell you this the side of wrong doesn't give a fuck about telling their

00:45:08.520 stories so the side of right has got to tell their stories right we all have an obligation

00:45:14.520 you know you you think about like you know when we sat down with the last generation 1.00

00:45:20.800 i mean listening to our stories and what they came in in the the you know the adversity that

00:45:27.000 they overcome in order to get to where we're at was incredible like their stories we couldn't

00:45:33.820 imagine right like you you know we've got to do the same for the next generation we have an obligation 0.98

00:45:39.000 no it is an obligation and i also don't believe you know that and i know you know you you may

00:45:45.240 believe differently but i don't believe that that we've even began to pay that debt no i i think i

00:45:52.580 think that men who think like we think i personally believe there's going to come a day in the not too

00:46:01.160 distant future where we're going to have to do that in a real way here in our own country and it

00:46:06.860 scares the fuck out of me and that's why i get so like urgent about people just taking responsibility 0.80

00:46:13.220 and standing up for what they know to be right and being vocal and being an american expressing

00:46:18.640 our freedoms uh to to prevent that from happening because like dude i'm getting to the point where i'm

00:46:24.720 like i mean we talked about it at lunch dude i just see i i you have more faith than me i see

00:46:33.200 this thing going all the way to where there's literal fighting here in our country and it but

00:46:38.460 it but the fight wouldn't last very long it probably wouldn't you know what i mean like i hear maybe it

00:46:43.040 most people are outnumbered 30 to 1 here's what 100 to 1 maybe maybe like look the the fight would not

00:46:51.560 like and that's the thing right like as soon as they seen the fight start it would be over i mean

00:46:57.740 you know what i mean um it would it would take no time yeah right so i hear you on it and i think

00:47:05.220 that okay maybe that will happen but the most important part the fighting part is is okay it's

00:47:12.280 going to happen wherever it happens and like that's already that's already going to be decided

00:47:15.520 wherever that decides to happen the most important part is is where we come in with these principle

00:47:21.500 base like the rebuild like the the part the the important part is not the fight like everybody's

00:47:26.040 worried about the fight no no it's it's it's rebuilding after the worst at the at the bottom

00:47:30.800 level it is that's where the reset is meant to happen the reset of society very their reset that

00:47:37.680 they're trying to impose globally on society is meant to happen at the bottom yeah destroy everything 0.78

00:47:43.660 rebuild from here but but it'll never work and i'll tell you why i'll tell you why it'll never work

00:47:49.000 it'll never work because we know freedom right and when they get to the bottom there's a common enemy at

00:47:54.660 the bottom when you start going up the enemy is different everybody's issues are different the

00:47:58.920 higher you go up the chain when you get to the bottom like people care about the essentials yeah

00:48:05.980 so like again i hear up at their level what they're seeing that it is like they they can divide and all

00:48:13.500 this i promise you when they step down on our level like look nobody's gonna give like nobody's

00:48:19.140 gonna give up freedom like that's the and guess what we all got do you really believe that bro i 0.99

00:48:24.500 watched all these motherfuckers during kova just do what the fuck they were told and it ended up being 1.00

00:48:28.460 bullshit to the point where they're taking medications that they didn't believe that they 1.00

00:48:32.580 should take you watched it yeah that's what they showed you you watched what they wanted you to 0.99

00:48:38.500 believe no i saw it bro well you you saw you saw it again i didn't watch it on like cnn but come to

00:48:45.020 i got you but come to texas right like missouri's a pretty red state bro but they still try they we 0.85

00:48:51.020 had a fucking county executive here named sam page push all these far far left policies into our 0.97

00:48:57.660 community as hard as possible we had restaurants here that were fucking denying people that were not 0.99

00:49:02.840 vaccinated did you follow it no they're out of business now did you but did you know i didn't follow 0.96

00:49:07.880 it well no i i dude honestly i boy i i will forever boycott any restaurant or establishment 0.99

00:49:14.800 that did that shit so i'm done oh i got a whole list i know who the fuck they are i remember i'll 0.97

00:49:21.080 never forget i got i got you yeah so so my point being is no it yeah it didn't it didn't affect me 0.99

00:49:27.120 in that way but it did affect my fucking freedom bro because i wasn't able to go anywhere without 0.97

00:49:31.300 getting fucking harassed you know what i'm saying like i couldn't go the fuck i couldn't go anywhere 0.99

00:49:35.160 like for two years i fucking stayed between my house and here so i didn't have to kill anybody 0.99

00:49:40.400 during the day like real talk like that i did it out of like because i know how i would react to 0.99

00:49:46.660 that like if someone fucking screams at me in public bro there's going to be a fucking problem 0.98

00:49:50.780 yeah it's just i'm not going to deal with it but we're not everybody and that's the thing you know 1.00

00:49:55.620 i'm saying like there's plenty of people who don't have that you know fuck off mentality yeah that had 0.91

00:50:00.700 no choice to put it up because yeah they had no other choice so like what i'm saying my point is 0.93

00:50:05.140 like i agree with what you're saying it still comes down to our decisions to comply but the

00:50:09.360 problem is i saw so many people comply that on the back channel or on you know social media like bro 0.98

00:50:15.440 these motherfuckers were like you know with the mask thing like dude there's people fucking putting 0.99

00:50:20.000 the mask on to go on fucking vacation so they can fucking party even though it's against their core 1.00

00:50:24.160 belief to do i didn't do that i didn't fucking compromise i wore a mask for about 30 fucking seconds 0.99

00:50:29.700 and it was that one day that we came down here to the building to check on construction the first day 0.99

00:50:33.860 the shit came out i walked in here none of the dudes working were wearing a mask i'm like fuck 0.98

00:50:38.540 this i'm not doing this shit either that was it for me the whole time and so like my my my viewpoint 1.00

00:50:44.440 is that you say okay they're not going to give up freedom but when they can convince you to do 0.92

00:50:50.220 things that people don't perceive as their freedom being given away they've been very effective at doing

00:50:55.640 so i i hear you yeah a hundred percent i hear you right and and you're right we we have a a a herd

00:51:05.620 mentality but it's always been that way yeah it has it's always been that way right always be that way

00:51:12.240 and so it's kind of like the whole argument with so how do we make it our herd instead of their herd

00:51:17.820 there you go right the how do we make it our herd well we go out and we you're you're right here

00:51:25.840 right this is one place like we start providing we start building out a community we go back to 0.99

00:51:33.540 the community right where i tell you we will smoke these motherfuckers is like look when we go in 0.98

00:51:40.220 person and we focus on core issues to to make people better like not the political side of it right 1.00

00:51:46.940 like i don't give a fuck how you believe right i don't care like vote how you fucking want to vote 0.97

00:51:50.340 like that's on you like that's that's why we live in in the united states of america that's why it's 0.99

00:51:54.300 called democracy right um but like we gotta go back and make being a good human being cool again

00:52:02.540 popular do you really think that do you do you really think that everybody i agree with you by the

00:52:10.320 way we do need to make it cool again that's the problem we're not it's not made cool people

00:52:14.420 people look dude and every cultural weapon impossible that's you has been exhausted to

00:52:19.720 the point where young kids are now rebelling by becoming christian because they're like they 0.95

00:52:24.920 can't rebel in any sort of rebellious way because it's all accepted yeah right and it's actually

00:52:30.380 blowing up in their face do you believe in like do you believe that everybody in america deserves a vote

00:52:38.600 in democracy do it i mean i think they i believe i believe that you should have to have skin in the

00:52:47.480 game i believe that too right like i like i don't think like i shouldn't be able to not be a shareholder

00:52:54.000 in your company and tell you how to fuck to run your company i think this is right or who you get to 0.87

00:52:59.260 hire right i think this is one of the biggest problems that we have in our country dude is that 0.99

00:53:03.940 we don't have a voting system that represents the people who are actually producing or people who

00:53:10.800 are actually just trying like in my opinion dude i believe contributing yeah i believe that you should

00:53:16.560 be able to vote if you are if you are paying taxes and you can prove that you're paying taxes you're

00:53:22.560 you're working and you're paying taxes i believe that's the that's the determining factor on a vote and 0.95

00:53:28.200 if you're 15 years old and you're paying taxes they should get a fucking vote that's what i think i i you 0.98

00:53:33.680 know now people are going to run and make a fucking clip andy for so it thinks 15 year olds should 0.99

00:53:38.300 vote well i i would rather take a 15 year old voting who's paying taxes who's actually out trying to 1.00

00:53:45.140 become something than a 30 year old who sits on their fat fucking asses and figures out how they 1.00

00:53:50.200 can vote all the fucking success away from people actually super glues our hands to fucking starbucks 1.00

00:53:54.880 look and i like after this podcast like that i mean i'm gonna get eaten alive is dumb he's he's he's he's 0.99

00:54:02.120 he's the simplest right i got you but i go back to it oh they're just gonna say we're best friends 0.99

00:54:07.020 if we talk if we if we talk that shit about me every day if we taught people core values yeah 1.00

00:54:15.180 more motherfuckers would be paying taxes because they more motherfuckers be working that's right 1.00

00:54:20.360 so again like i hear you and yeah yeah the problem i got you like the problems the big problems out here 1.00

00:54:26.100 the system the system's Dakota the solution is simple you're not fucking off the system is fucked right 0.96

00:54:31.580 but again it doesn't matter who's voting if they're gonna fucking rig it anyways right so 0.98

00:54:36.100 it doesn't it comes back home it comes back home and the thing is is we can keep talking about 0.78

00:54:42.720 all the problems with the system again but let's talk about i will tell you we we agreed on this

00:54:51.240 most people do you believe that most people in the united states of america are good and want to do good

00:54:57.820 yeah most yes most like 95 i i i would say it's at least 90 90 okay so so now if you went on the

00:55:07.680 street nine out of ten people you could probably find some real common ground with a little bit of

00:55:13.700 conversation i'll i'll tell you this i think that people i think that a lot of people don't know

00:55:20.440 that the reason they don't do good that the reason the 90 aren't doing good is because they don't know how

00:55:27.820 well i think they've also lived in a country where we have propaganda non-stop that is continuously

00:55:34.460 trying to provide a message that people even if they knew how they couldn't do you see so like you

00:55:42.820 me we found out a way to do it yeah i know but we also come from a little bit different time you know

00:55:47.940 it was a little bit different for like you're at the younger edge of it but for me like i was always

00:55:53.680 told growing up by my teachers and by people who like i was encouraged i was i had a few shitbag 0.79

00:56:00.020 teachers who told me i couldn't do shit uh but i also feel like nowadays you know with some of the 0.74

00:56:08.240 social movements that we have happening in the world when we look at like let's just say the body 0.55

00:56:13.760 positivity movement the body positivity movement has been hijacked so instead of saying hey you don't

00:56:19.340 have to be perfect which is true you've just got to work hard and work to be better now it's

00:56:24.180 celebrated for people to be 400 pounds and say that that's healthy that's not true i would argue the

00:56:29.320 exact opposite with you of that you of anybody in this room have more freedom financially you've you've

00:56:40.360 done it yeah you have more of a reason to fall off to drop the sword than any of us like what do you

00:56:50.880 mean but because like i mean you could fall into investing and drunk and and partying and and living

00:56:57.780 not the hard lifestyle i mean you you but i couldn't though well but here's why but i hear you i

00:57:03.560 couldn't and let me tell you why because i don't have any special skills bro people think i do they think

00:57:08.800 i'm fucking like that i i like look i have to work really fucking hard to be like for me to do what 0.96

00:57:14.320 i do it's really fucking hard but you don't you would but after you after you built this thing you 0.99

00:57:20.360 could surround yourself with a bunch of fucking people who just say you're the greatest ever that 0.99

00:57:25.020 feed into your bullshit who oh you know andy like i couldn't imagine how hard it is to run this company 1.00

00:57:31.120 man like man let's just go grab a beer man like i mean you could you could literally surround 1.00

00:57:35.920 yourself with those people man like having you you've made enough right like fuck fuck the rest 0.99

00:57:40.400 of it right who gives a fuck about your people out here man like they owe you you gave them this right 1.00

00:57:46.000 like you could like if anything you are more susceptible to falling into to that bullshit than 0.99

00:57:53.380 the rest of us and and and like and getting comfortable and complacent and and you haven't and you 1.00

00:58:01.120 haven't and i'll tell you what it comes down to it's the motherfuckers you surround yourself with 0.99

00:58:05.920 right like the most important thing other than you being the example in life the next piece of it 0.99

00:58:11.100 is is the motherfuckers you surround yourself with right and i don't believe in judging right i think 0.97

00:58:16.180 judging is like where i sit on it's a it's a i'm gonna sit back here and not look at my place but i'm 0.99

00:58:20.840 gonna look at you and judge how you do things but i do believe in constantly evaluating things right

00:58:25.840 measuring up right we all have to constantly measure up on each other and it's like hey man like oh 0.99

00:58:32.180 you're better than me well i'm looking at you and seeing how the fuck you're better than me because i want 0.98

00:58:35.480 to figure out how to do that right and i'm going to try to ask you questions and learn how to be 0.99

00:58:38.720 about you right and then like we're always growing and bouncing off each other right and at the point 0.97

00:58:44.140 that you don't like that you start dragging me down you're an anchor cut that fucking anchor right 0.99

00:58:48.860 you have to who's next right like we all keep moving up all those people that you described i lost 0.98

00:58:53.840 those people years ago yeah yeah but i couldn't have gotten here with that but you couldn't have yeah

00:58:58.200 but it's easy but you know damn well that they that you got people like coming in and now trying 0.93

00:59:05.600 to lock their anchor into you oh yeah secret like yeah right do you think i fucking stay at home all 0.91

00:59:11.000 the time well well exactly exactly but but i can't trust anybody bro like you yeah you can trust people 0.98

00:59:17.240 that's the thing people don't believe people think that's bullshit like people when you when people 0.87

00:59:23.000 start knowing you're doing something you you start to attract all those people like you don't attract 0.93

00:59:28.440 like what people don't understand is like it's not the greatest people in the world that are coming to

00:59:33.140 be a part of your party like these are people who want something from you and i realized that over the

00:59:38.680 course of making some mistakes in my life that like it's just better for me to hang out at home yeah

00:59:44.100 you know i 100% agree with you but but my point being is is that like yeah all these people are 0.94

00:59:51.840 capable i do believe in good i i i will i will go look the place is fucked right like the our government's 0.96

01:00:01.120 fucked right wouldn't you like to see it unfucked because i would but as much as we want like the 0.98

01:00:08.820 government ran by i'm i'm about to i'm about to throw some some deep deep on you right the government 0.99

01:00:15.720 the the the it's we the people when we the people suck government's gonna suck the government's gonna 0.99

01:00:24.880 fucking suck right we want it to be about us but we suck we're bitching about our government right 0.99

01:00:32.500 so it's like that becomes the chicken or the egg argument well well what is this what what is the 1.00

01:00:37.580 government founded what what is what is everything about this idea of democracy founded on we the

01:00:43.560 people and we want it to stay that way right my constitutional rights we the people well when we 0.98

01:00:50.040 the people suck and we wonder why our country sucks well because we the people suck yeah right i always 1.00

01:00:57.600 laugh which means and why do we suck it's because uh you suck or i suck 100 right and so again 1.00

01:01:05.120 you know i look at i talked you know marines i talked to marines all the time marines like oh you 0.99

01:01:09.340 know the marine corps sucked today i go well the marine corps like the marine corps is is just a name 0.99

01:01:16.100 you know what the marine corps is made up of marines well america is just a fucking name you know 0.99

01:01:23.020 what america is made up of americans so if america sucks and you're bitching and calling and saying 1.00

01:01:29.180 america fucking sucks go look in the fucking mirror right and that's the hard truth of it and i can 1.00

01:01:36.040 tell you not one motherfucker has the power to over override the rest of us you know i hear 1.00

01:01:44.820 i hear all this and i hear the well you know the the riots in the city all this i mean all of it 0.99

01:01:53.220 right and it's like you know well the next time really when it comes up you know it's all gonna 0.99

01:02:01.000 be all right right we're all gonna be okay we we all know we all know that that shit only flies as 0.98

01:02:09.060 much as we let it fly and it's only gonna fly as much as we let it fly do i think that we just all 0.99

01:02:15.380 agree then quit letting the shit fly that would be nice well you you 100 but can we all agree that that 0.99

01:02:22.360 being fat isn't healthy yeah i agree okay well we all do yeah but that doesn't mean 0.99

01:02:27.420 once you so when you stop the problem is when you stop blaming everybody else

01:02:32.980 it means that that you have to take responsibility and once you take responsibility

01:02:38.540 it means that you now have to do something to fix it now that you can do something to fix it and you

01:02:43.500 can't bitch about everybody else so that's why i go back to it they're never going to do something 1.00

01:02:50.280 that's going to fucking affect all covid did was give you the like all it did was give 0.98

01:02:57.920 people who already wanted an excuse the justification for their fucking excuse 0.96

01:03:04.540 oh i don't want to go to work well now i got a reason not to and i can blame this 0.96

01:03:10.420 oh i i i don't want to make good decisions oh now i got a reason to blame this oh i i want to 0.99

01:03:18.740 to to to fuck with somebody's life who is healthy well now i got a reason because they don't wear a 0.99

01:03:23.900 fucking mask right like like again covid was just the was just the the justification for your 0.99

01:03:31.620 fucking weak excuse right like i believe it was an intentional weapon of division intentional it was 0.99

01:03:38.260 yeah it was and bro people are having a hard time getting over it like i see a lot of the people who 0.99

01:03:43.400 were like with the narrative right like they love fauci and shit and they realize now like oh this is

01:03:49.320 not uh you know exactly what i thought it was right but still i'm glad i did what i did and those people

01:03:57.180 those people can't understand why people who didn't go with the narrative will not forgive them 0.96

01:04:04.200 and then like dude like my one of my fucking best friend had to watch his fucking dad die 1.00

01:04:08.880 on a fucking zoom call you know what i'm saying like people don't forget that shit bro and that 1.00

01:04:14.020 became that came from you motherfuckers that forced your fucking shit on everybody yeah you know like 1.00

01:04:18.660 people are not going to forget and it was crimes against humanity what happened 100 yeah i mean i got 1.00

01:04:26.280 you yeah i know i'm just saying like i got you know like it was such a fucking real thing that i i i don't 0.96

01:04:32.660 really see i don't know i don't see the forgiveness in people with it because there was some 0.65

01:04:38.680 serious consequences people lost their job bro i got threatened by the u.s by the government by the 0.98

01:04:44.300 fucking government with a fine of seven hundred thousand dollars per employee i have 450 fucking 0.99

01:04:51.560 employees okay i got threatened that i either was going to have to have them vaccinated or i had to 1.00

01:04:57.080 pay that fine you know what i did fucking have them do shit yeah i told them fuck themselves yeah that's 1.00

01:05:03.120 right yeah so i hear i hear you on it i'm just saying like there was a lot of serious shit bro 1.00

01:05:09.160 it did it's like how do you get past that and the it's my solution to that is that we have to identify 0.98

01:05:15.220 the people who organized it we have to identify the people who fucking perpetrated it as a crime 0.64

01:05:21.260 because dude i see the the people like the people who harass that the people who harass the people 0.79

01:05:27.120 who actually ended up being right i actually see them as victims of propaganda and and a psychological

01:05:33.460 fucking marketing operation yeah it was marketing it was it was a like it was a marketing uh of 0.90

01:05:41.020 a virus but but dude what i'm saying is is like the heart the the people like these people who fell for 0.99

01:05:48.540 it they they cannot understand why the other people are still so pissed and like dude there has to be 0.97

01:05:53.460 some understanding there of what the fuck y'all did like you you are the ones that called everybody 0.99

01:05:58.980 grandma killers you're the ones that screamed at people in stores you're the ones that cheered as 1.00

01:06:04.020 people lost their fucking businesses yeah and like bro those people should be apologizing and saying you 0.99

01:06:09.160 know what i got fucking played so that we can unite and fucking go against the people who actually did 0.99

01:06:14.580 it you're 100 right you're 100 right you're 100 right but but i'm telling you man like we can either 0.99

01:06:22.560 we can either focus on what other motherfuckers should be doing to us yeah or we can focus on 1.00

01:06:30.040 we better get our shit together well bro i got my shit together i'm not saying i'm just saying i'm not 1.00

01:06:35.660 saying i'm rising above i got my shit together now i'm focusing on their fucking shit well fuck them 1.00

01:06:40.920 dude fuck them right fuck them right i agree we agree like i hear i hear you like i mean like i mean 1.00

01:06:48.720 my command should come back and fucking apologize to me they should like you know what you you george 1.00

01:06:53.620 w bush should come back and apologize for sending us to fucking iraq and afghanistan right on a fucking 1.00

01:06:58.260 lie on a fucking lie right i mean you know which by the way cheney cheney should fucking cheney should 0.99

01:07:03.540 go to fucking jail for all the millions he made all fucking you know i mean again like example 1.00

01:07:08.800 i was a pro when bush was going to war bro i was beating the war drum as hard as anybody i was like 1.00

01:07:15.240 fuck yeah let's fucking get these motherfuckers yeah like everybody else was and you know now i 1.00

01:07:20.720 look back and i'm like fuck that was really fucking stupid yeah that was really fucking stupid and like 1.00

01:07:26.020 dude i so so i can admit that that was stupid of me and i was wrong and that i fucking got played by 1.00

01:07:32.400 the fucking bullshit well for some reason these cov idiots can't fucking admit it and like dude it's 1.00

01:07:38.360 causing more and more and more tension and that tension will eventually erupt it will yeah it will 1.00

01:07:44.740 as long as we're not on to the next one by then and and that's the problem yeah that's the problem

01:07:50.140 because it was an effective social division and because people can't fucking come together they're 0.86

01:07:55.960 going to continue to propagate these division tactics the next the dude we will have another 0.96

01:08:00.860 pandemic before 24 i fucking guarantee it like a medical pandemic yeah and they will they will put 0.94

01:08:09.220 one out oh no no they're no they're already they're already sitting up for it they're trying all the 0.91

01:08:14.000 time right they got this this what they came out with a a fungus or a mold thing that now they're

01:08:19.560 they're worried about they're talking about that's spreading that has a 60 kill rate i mean

01:08:23.920 they're talking i mean of course like you know they they all the people who made the vaccine they're

01:08:28.380 all sitting here saying they're standing by yeah ready for the next one right i mean of course

01:08:33.040 they're gonna come at it yeah well of course they're ready for the next one because those are 0.98

01:08:36.720 the fucking people that put it out yeah how much money did bill gates make how much money 0.99

01:08:41.000 the pharma companies make bro huge huge everybody else has got fucking destroyed but can but can i say 0.99

01:08:46.560 can i i go back to my whole theory though bro listen when people are i agree with you 100 all i'm saying 1.00

01:08:53.240 is i fucking have a intense hatred for the people that organize this shit and fuck with our country 0.99

01:09:00.780 like and it is fucking intense bro like to me and i agree with you everything that you say it's 1.00

01:09:07.200 personal responsibility personal excellence removing ourselves unplugging ourselves from their system 0.94

01:09:12.600 yeah in every possible way that is the solution 100 along with helping your neighbor also do the 0.94

01:09:19.000 same yeah okay that's the solution no doubt but bro in my mind there needs to be fucking serious 0.94

01:09:25.220 accountability for what the fuck was happening because dude we can't we can't leave like you and i as 0.97

01:09:30.120 grown men we can't fucking let this happen another 20 or 30 or 40 years from now like these people in 0.98

01:09:38.300 my opinion should be made such an example of that people never fucking forget it over the course of 0.96

01:09:44.720 history and that that that might sound harsh but that's reality dude like when vlad the impaler 1.00

01:09:51.740 fucking impaled everybody and put their fucking heads on stakes guess what motherfuckers didn't do 1.00

01:09:56.060 they didn't fuck with them anymore yeah right and like dude we as the people have allowed these 1.00

01:10:01.660 people to continuously continuously oppress us fuck with us divide us stress us turn us against our 0.99

01:10:11.560 neighbor turn us against our neighbor because they have a different skin color or they like to have 1.00

01:10:16.700 sex with a different yeah somebody that you met like bro this is insane shit it's insane shit and like 1.00

01:10:24.000 dude we don't deserve that like we're you and i you're never getting the 13 years of your life 1.00

01:10:31.040 back that you've had to live with that fucking burden that you just shared on the show you're not getting 0.98

01:10:35.680 it back bro you're right and you won't get back any of that time after that we we the regular people 0.99

01:10:41.160 the citizens okay civilians so to speak we're not getting the three fucking years back bro the three 0.97

01:10:47.460 years where we've been at each other's throats the three years where we've been fucking constantly 0.98

01:10:51.660 fighting the three years where there's been hardship after hardship after hardship after hardship 0.92

01:10:56.860 intentionally introduced to create us more division and more hardship so that they can remain in power 0.94

01:11:04.040 yeah and like bro like we need a true fucking turnover of power however you want to call it that to where 0.95

01:11:12.440 our government is represented by actual fucking americans again and here's what and here's where 0.97

01:11:17.020 here's where i go with it you're right you're right if i stay angry if i stay i see it if i stay angry 0.99

01:11:24.820 if i stay angry i get it dude if i stay angry you know the only thing that's worse than than it 0.99

01:11:33.240 fucking like look it took me all the way up till probably 2016 remember when those motherfuckers were 1.00

01:11:38.540 laughing at you yeah how mad were you so so mad but let me say this and i'm justified to be pissed 0.99

01:11:45.140 just like you are like i just that's how i feel i got you like there's fucking laughing but let me but 0.97

01:11:50.440 let me throw this back at you let me let me throw this back at you you're right you're not gonna get 0.97

01:11:54.100 those three years back but you know what would suck even more is if you stayed pissed off and nothing 0.99

01:11:59.240 changed and nobody got held accountable for another fucking three and then you wasted another three being 0.98

01:12:04.400 pissed off and instead instead what i do is what i can control yeah and just like you're doing like turn 0.99

01:12:10.200 that into fuel now we have we've seen something that most motherfuckers haven't and you've seen it 0.99

01:12:16.180 from a perspective that even people who went through it with you haven't seen it as right you've seen 0.97

01:12:21.520 that you prevail by standing up against it right you've seen that that you can get through it and

01:12:26.860 they won't do shit to you at the end of the day and you still took care of people right you've seen 0.74

01:12:31.400 that side of it now you have an obligation you can either stay pissed off about it and want to go 0.51

01:12:36.220 after justice right which is deserved i think for where i'm at brother like real real talk i think

01:12:42.240 for where i'm at with my platform i have a responsibility to remain pissed off about it

01:12:48.280 personally so you as long as that pissed off fuels good always prevails evil prevails evil like i don't 0.99

01:13:00.700 care you could take and you could put every one of those motherfuckers in jail well i ain't talking 1.00

01:13:06.020 about jail okay okay you could yeah okay period listen you could go kill every one of those 1.00

01:13:10.400 motherfuckers you could you could eradicate them from the earth every everybody let's say everybody 1.00

01:13:15.540 who was responsible for that you could eradicate them and i'll tell you this there would be a fuck 1.00

01:13:21.300 ton of motherfuckers with the next one that are trying to get rid of them as well to get their own 1.00

01:13:25.980 plan out there to replace them and the only way you fix it is if you go and you you solidify good fix 1.00

01:13:31.860 culture you got to fix the culture so i hear you we can go get justice and fucking hold 0.96

01:13:35.980 accountability and all this on the bad side of it and it's again man you're being me today this is 0.79

01:13:41.820 usually what i say it's again what i say is usually what i say is we don't need violence because even 0.97

01:13:48.460 if we went and fucking killed them today what about tomorrow bro what about the next day like it's kind 0.97

01:13:53.500 of like it's a cultural revolution it really is you've got to you you have got to um you've got to 0.99

01:14:01.600 fix the problem by educating and pushing good and pushing what's right and and and you have like i got

01:14:09.620 it we can prepare we can prepare to be ready for whatever but like we have an obligation to because

01:14:17.180 we've seen it this way to go out and out market the side of wrong yeah right and and and again

01:14:23.920 like the only way that that that frustration and stuff makes sense because it's only at the expense

01:14:29.800 of you i promise you they're not sitting up there fucking worried about you coming to get them they're 0.98

01:14:33.640 not sitting up there worried about justice like again they're they're up there like nobody fucking 0.97

01:14:39.360 laughing they're laughing so again again if you want to fix it you want to fix it we got to go back 0.75

01:14:46.780 to the base anybody can point out the problem most people can well most of us can right but like

01:14:55.380 we've got like and so so how do i fix this right like like no dude you're you're telling i mean listen

01:15:00.880 bro it you're you're you're not wrong you're 100 right like i'm pissed off too look i go through like 0.60

01:15:06.480 yeah i'm pissed off it it hit all kinds of shit right i'm pissed off do i i don't but i don't deserve 0.91

01:15:12.760 shit i'm i might be worthy of more but i get what i deserve right yeah and and and and look and i 0.99

01:15:19.060 truly believe that like look i mean you look at look at the way that the hardest fucking steel on 0.99

01:15:24.160 the face that's made it ain't by fucking like a good life and an easy life and hey i put you where 0.97

01:15:30.960 you know we set this steel where it's real fucking comfortable in this nice spot and we we only tap it 0.97

01:15:36.100 and we we rub it with something really soft right no it's thrown into hot mold molten lava yeah and 0.96

01:15:41.720 then beat the shit out beating the fuck out of it right so if you want to be steel and you want to 0.94

01:15:45.540 be fucking hard yeah then then get get used to it right yeah but but again like man i think also to 0.98

01:15:52.700 be happy dude i think i think i think if you're constantly looking for easiness and comfort yeah and 0.97

01:15:58.800 no anxiety and no stress you're going to always be disappointed and i think that like or you're

01:16:05.700 going to be those guys we were talking about in whole foods yeah but bro those people those people

01:16:09.700 feel a different kind of anxiety and stress oh so so like i i truly believe that one of the keys to

01:16:15.960 being happy and in real life is accepting that life is going to have its challenges and be hard no

01:16:23.360 matter what path you choose if we choose to be someone like us who goes out every day and works

01:16:28.980 hard and tries to do the best that we can we're going to have our own challenges if we choose to 1.00

01:16:33.360 be the fucking fat fuck who rides the cart around walmart and eats 17 000 calories for fucking lunch 1.00

01:16:39.740 every day and then complains that you know they're big boned right it's genetics um they're going to have 1.00

01:16:45.740 their own sets of fucking worries and challenges and hardships and i think life truly is about deciding 0.97

01:16:51.680 which ones we're going to work with and and understanding that it's it's coming either way 0.98

01:16:57.660 because dude every time i've ever gotten myself in the mindset of like that i deserve some sort of

01:17:03.080 because like bro i fucking work really fucking hard and like i said earlier and this is true story like 0.97

01:17:09.340 there's no superpowers with me there might be for some of these other motherfuckers but they're sure 1.00

01:17:13.800 as fuck ain't with me all the shit that people see me do living on the live hard program we're you know 0.99

01:17:19.160 going out in the snow and doing shit like bro i do that shit to keep me sharps because that's the 1.00

01:17:24.260 skills it takes to do what i do yeah it's not because like if i was a bad motherfucker i wouldn't 0.99

01:17:28.940 have to do that shit like the truth is i have to work really hard just to be functional at what i do 0.99

01:17:34.000 and so sometimes i've been in the position where i'm like fuck dude you know i work hard dude i deserve 1.00

01:17:40.640 some easiness like i deserve some stress break i deserve some what the can i not get fucking a week 0.99

01:17:47.940 can i get a fucking day but the truth is is i can't because i did i chose a path that doesn't offer 0.95

01:17:53.620 that and when i accept when i accept that because it goes back and forth like sometimes i accept it 0.97

01:17:59.500 and i'm fucking comfortable but when i don't like last time we talked on the phone for a couple hours 0.91

01:18:05.300 that i was still at a point i was at a point at that time where i was feeling sorry for myself 0.97

01:18:10.860 like i'm explaining now where i'm like fuck dude i fucking do but imagine if i'd fit that makes it 0.99

01:18:16.120 way worse but imagine if i'd fit into it i'd be like yeah you're fucking right yeah like fuck yeah 0.99

01:18:20.640 man like you but imagine if i fed into it right and that's where we have an obligation yeah like we 0.99

01:18:26.580 have an obligation to remind the greater good and to remind that that we all like that it's going to

01:18:34.780 be fine yeah we have an obligation to lead people because again like if you get everybody if you say 0.97

01:18:40.720 fuck it you know what everybody should be preparing for a civil war well they're not focused on on each 0.98

01:18:45.920 pushing each other and building each other up yeah they're panicking they're panicking right and we're 1.00

01:18:50.000 we're driving we're feeding into their bullshit right i refuse to do it i refuse to do it if there's 0.98

01:18:55.840 a war i'm ready for it right if i need to fight if i need to fight and here's what i'll tell you i don't 0.99

01:19:00.940 care you know you you get into religion or whatever you want but i i'll take the story from the bible

01:19:06.800 that everybody should know jesus christ the most perfect man that's ever been wrote about that walked

01:19:15.060 the face of the planet whether you believe him or not period it's a story he literally spent his whole

01:19:21.840 existence on earth doing good for others trying to teach people the way to the best life afterlife that

01:19:32.520 there is he was he was he was told that he wasn't real called a liar told he wasn't true

01:19:42.020 and then and then he was sat down ate a meal with people and they made him carry his own cross up and 0.97

01:19:52.960 they fucking killed him for the same people he was trying to save and give a path to heaven 0.98

01:19:57.340 so i don't care how perfect you are how right you are i don't care how good you are how much good you 1.00

01:20:03.320 do how much money you donate how many people you fucking help yeah shit's still gonna be hard 1.00

01:20:08.660 shit's still gonna be fucking hard people are still gonna say you're not fucking real people 0.99

01:20:13.180 are still gonna look at you and they're going to criticize you and then people are still gonna say 1.00

01:20:16.900 that you're you're you're still fucking they're gonna call you a fucking liar all the way down to 1.00

01:20:21.600 the point to where if they get a fucking chance they'll kill you bro you know what's crazy too 1.00

01:20:25.760 you're sitting that's such a good message bro like such a good fucking message and it's so true 0.99

01:20:30.420 what's crazy about it is that when you really that's why it's so hard to live jesus example 0.98

01:20:39.880 because when you try to live it that you face persecution when you try to live a high standard

01:20:45.800 life because none of us are going to be perfect it's not reality but when you try to hold a high

01:20:50.640 standard for yourself people are always going to want to tear it down because they're not willing

01:20:56.640 to hold a high standard for themselves yeah you know what so instead of instead of them raising

01:21:00.620 themselves to that standard because it's hard they will tear you the fuck down so what we have to

01:21:05.920 do is we have to stop reacting to it and we can respond to it i have this game i play and i learned it

01:21:15.300 off one of my friends so i can't take credit for it but i try to walk into every room and i try to

01:21:20.620 like people who already have an opinion of me and i try to be um it like i i whatever they think i am

01:21:27.160 or what i'm going to say i try to be the exact opposite of that right still based on my principles

01:21:30.900 so again like my principles aren't going to to vary but how i disperse and how i communicate in that

01:21:42.000 room like i want people to listen i want people to hear it i want people to i want people to see my

01:21:49.620 like i don't care what you do right like i don't i don't have to focus on this i can always focus on

01:21:54.240 the side of positive i can always focus on the side of getting my message in um whether it's by

01:22:00.220 leading by example by listening to you and trying to help you like again like there's a way to do

01:22:05.420 this with everybody and it's all about like how we um represent ourself or how we how we talk at this

01:22:12.020 right so i say that like look i i try to not react to people because that's what they want and and it's

01:22:19.240 like oh whoops see that that's it that's what i was talking about there's yeah see they're not they

01:22:23.220 suck right and and i try to just be authentic and real and i try to just respond to people

01:22:28.080 and i try to be the way i look at it is is i just want to be the best that i can be for you 0.93

01:22:33.660 right like i want to be the best that i can for you whatever you need me to be i'm going to be the

01:22:37.160 best that i can in that moment right and i'm going to try to give you the best advice the best but

01:22:40.840 again like that's all i can do and then you have your own personal responsibility to go

01:22:44.920 fucking do it right yeah and and and so like that's what i try to do right it's no different than 0.77

01:22:50.320 than when i you know as a firefighter right like i i show up to calls that that aren't an emergency to 0.99

01:22:57.200 me but fuck man like they're an emergency to them right like and and and that's the the this level of 0.95

01:23:04.840 empathy and i'll say this you can only be as effective in life as you can be empathetic towards 0.99

01:23:11.300 people well yeah because the care that you have is going to drive the action when people can they

01:23:16.940 can see through if you care not right right like the reason you're so effective here is his 0.88

01:23:21.980 motherfuckers know you're real and they know you care about them and like like that's why right like 0.99

01:23:27.600 it the secret sauce is that you got a fucking heart and your empathy and your care for people 1.00

01:23:32.640 is is authentic and it's not driven by money it's driven like it's driven by real purpose and and 0.99

01:23:39.160 and all that and so like shit dude if it was money i'd be on here talking about making money 0.95

01:23:43.540 well 100 right and and and so what tells me that that people still want that look most people most 0.99

01:23:51.860 people are followers that's that's the real reality of life right uh most people are followers they want

01:23:57.120 to be told what to do right like they want to follow something they can believe in that's bigger

01:24:01.940 than them right i mean look like like look at everything that that's that's what it is

01:24:06.120 what tells me that america's still okay is are you still making money well yeah okay well guess

01:24:12.980 what you're doing it based off of trying to do good for others yeah and the fact that you're still 0.90

01:24:18.960 as successful and i walk through this fucking empire and i see this thing turning every day and i see 0.96

01:24:23.920 the employees and i see the habits that are pushed through this place and the principles that your 0.98

01:24:29.000 principles are through every aspect of this place it tells me that it can be done 0.98

01:24:35.420 the question isn't about can it be done or or how it's done it's time to fucking scale andy 0.89

01:24:42.500 yeah it's time to scale right and you can't scale when you you're focused on the problem it's like 0.90

01:24:53.140 bro you're the solution this is the solution how do we scale this across america how do we scale this

01:24:59.700 people people believe like man you've changed so many people's lives that you don't even know

01:25:05.720 with a program called 75 heart i mean again like like look at all the people out there following

01:25:11.820 that so when you think you wonder you wonder can it be done and can it be changed a hundred percent

01:25:19.120 it can a hundred percent yeah i i don't i you know i appreciate all that dude i i don't i don't

01:25:26.060 disagree with you man but we got to have someone we got to have people that understand like 0.52

01:25:30.580 that this it's what you said dude if america sucks well what's america full of it's full of 0.99

01:25:37.180 americans well that means the americans suck and if we don't get people that understand that and want 1.00

01:25:42.280 to change that it doesn't matter what kind of movement you build does america suckers are america 1.00

01:25:47.300 weak i think america's i think america's ready for something different that's what i believe i agree and

01:25:53.320 so so i think we've been comfortable it's kind of like with big i think the reason these people have

01:25:57.140 gotten as far as they've gotten it has everything to do with everybody else out there trying to

01:26:02.640 progress their own lives and not paying attention over here it's kind of like it's been cush yeah bro

01:26:08.080 and it's been good for a long time here first world problems right first world problems right when you

01:26:12.940 live long enough where time is too good that allows people who aren't necessarily uh like-minded to work

01:26:21.640 their way into positions of authority and power which is what we're ending up dealing with now like what

01:26:26.160 we're dealing with now was created not over covid it was created over the 12 years before that

01:26:33.440 where we came out of the other recession and things got good that's where it was created you're 100%

01:26:39.020 right yeah and then by allowing them consistently to because dude most people don't look at the don't

01:26:45.520 look over there they're like way too busy building especially here on this show like a lot of you guys

01:26:51.040 when i was doing mf ceo project you know you guys were listening learning building businesses not

01:26:57.640 paying any attention over here well like i say on most of the shows if we don't pay attention over

01:27:03.440 here what's going on society this is the equivalent of us not having the actual environment required to

01:27:09.760 win personally so where my concern comes from is that yes we do have the freedom and i agree with you a

01:27:16.540 million percent to raise standards and to be better people that's the fucking key right now however if 0.84

01:27:24.740 we don't take an interest also in understanding what how we got here and what's happened over here

01:27:29.900 and how to implement that into society how to change these things and fix these things and how

01:27:34.540 this this these problems are our responsibility

01:27:38.740 the environment can get toxic just like a fish tank would get dirty right like if you don't clean 0.93

01:27:46.400 the fish tank what happens to the fish they don't fucking thrive bro and it doesn't matter how hard 0.93

01:27:51.500 they swim and it doesn't matter it doesn't matter how uh you know well they navigate the waters you 0.96

01:27:57.480 know what i'm saying and so like my i agree with the solution to the problem is personal excellence it is

01:28:05.480 raising a standard it is holding ourselves to a higher standard but we also have to pay attention

01:28:11.300 to the legit environment that's being created right now and and i agree with you i think when it come

01:28:15.960 push comes to shove these people are not going to get their way and i they're not and they they know

01:28:23.740 that like they're they're like they again they're not and and like if we were australia or we were a

01:28:31.560 country like look we we are the and i got you they they took away like but we are the freest country

01:28:41.240 yeah on the planet so by a long shot by a long shot like you listen as soon as they start trying 0.66

01:28:49.960 to fucking go after that like as soon as i i got they trying i got i got their tiptoeing in the water 0.98

01:28:56.560 bro they've been going after it for a hundred years but it ain't stuck yeah it ain't stuck it 0.98

01:29:01.240 ain't stuck and it's not gonna fucking stick right i'm just saying like we're not really that free like 0.98

01:29:07.000 we say we're the freest country that's if everybody's if everybody's a fucking turtle and you're the 0.98

01:29:12.960 fastest turtle that's not exactly fast like yeah we're the freest country but we pay most of our 0.97

01:29:19.620 income to our government yeah now again that's that's a whole that's by definition that's not

01:29:25.880 free that's a whole other ballgame right taxes right go on another three hours yeah i mean that's

01:29:31.480 part two guys come back to part two i mean i got you i got you the federal government right like

01:29:35.420 that's a whole other thing right i hear you yeah but but at the end of the day let me ask you this

01:29:40.120 what other country would you rather live in i don't know i was just in mexico it's pretty cool

01:29:45.900 you know the least ain't that bad yeah tuscanies are looking pretty nice

01:29:51.740 you know sure look just looking fucking nicer than st louis right now man it's rare white and 0.95
