00:06:26.460 returned a superseding indictment that included an additional count of allegedly acting as a foreign

00:06:32.520 agent Menendez his wife and one of the businessmen involved in the alleged bribery scheme quote willfully

00:06:39.040 and knowingly combined conspired confederated and agreed together and with each other to have

00:06:46.200 Menendez act as an agent of the Egyptian government the indictment said prosecutors

00:06:52.980 allege that Menendez quote provided sensitive U.S. government information and took other steps that

00:06:59.040 secretly aided the government of Egypt now the original indictment against Menendez's wife and

00:07:04.820 three businessmen was unsealed last month and alleged that he and his wife had a corrupt relationship

00:07:10.340 with New Jersey businessmen while Hannah Jose Uribe and Fred Davies who allegedly gave the senator

00:07:17.780 bribes worth hundreds of thousands of dollars now according to the DOJ the bribes were intended to

00:07:23.480 protect the businessmen and to benefit Egypt quote those bribes included cash gold payment store to home

00:07:31.520 mortgage compensation for a low or no-show job a luxury vehicle and other things of value

00:07:36.740 the indictment said federal authorities reportedly found gold bars and cash stuffed throughout the

00:07:42.940 senator's home that were traced back to the businessman Menendez allegedly worked with

00:07:47.820 any update on this because I know we covered this a couple of weeks ago man but it's not surprising at

00:07:53.300 this point right I mean when are they going to do Joe Biden well I got that coming up later okay

00:10:09.860 office and so if we want corruption to end we have to stop the process of them being able to raise money

00:11:50.420 campaigns and so it creates this big cycle of decisions that are not in our interest and i would assume
