00:01:09.540 here uh but mainly the fee is this guys we need your help to get the message out all right we're

00:01:15.200 always dealing with censorship shadow bans content moderation having things removed so if the message

00:01:22.700 resonates please share it i don't take ads for the show i know we're the only show this size in the

00:01:28.440 world that doesn't take ad revenue and the reason i don't is because i don't want to be told what i

00:01:32.820 can and can't say i want to keep it real with you guys and if we're going to keep it that way i need

00:01:36.500 you to help me get the show out so uh don't be a hoe show the show all right i have no idea why they 1.00

00:01:41.720 keep fucking with us huh like why why do they keep fucking with us it's we're just trying to make 0.99

00:01:46.560 people better you know hey they don't want people to be better that's what it is bro i'm being dead 1.00

00:01:51.240 serious they don't want people to be better they want people to be you know little brain 0.99

00:01:55.360 motherfuckers 1.00

00:01:56.140 what i don't get it that's what they want 1.00

00:02:03.080 what let's do the show what's so funny

00:02:10.960 i don't get it all right all right what's going on man why are you always laughing at your own

00:02:26.460 jokes dude we're trying to do a serious show here um what's going on man how you doing you good i

00:02:34.380 don't know i feel extra smart today yeah show's been doing good man i don't get big-headed you

00:02:39.940 know but show's been doing pretty good yeah yeah all right well let's make some people better

00:02:44.560 you look like you lost some weight 0.97

00:02:45.780 all right let's get better yeah let's get better let's no fucking rock yeah 0.95

00:03:02.040 so i wanted to ask you a question man because we had this this question come in

00:03:06.580 and you know i think at first i was like nah we're not asking that question but then i'm like

00:03:10.700 no there could be some some actual benefit to this question right yeah um we talk about society

00:03:15.760 talk about culture on this show um so let's address something man very very simple question

00:03:20.380 um is can only fans should only fans be considered legit entrepreneurship which what's your take on

00:03:28.660 that there's i got three good ones for you this is just a little intro talk it sounds like you

00:03:32.600 got four good ones it might be four good ones yeah yeah for 3.99 a month yeah that's it see my

00:03:37.820 butthole all right is it look is that a real question real question like i mean is that

00:03:44.100 considered like i mean because i mean obviously well i mean dude look there's a product you got

00:03:48.020 a product there's demand there's limited supply you charge money for it the market tells you what

00:03:54.800 entrepreneurship is or isn't okay you know what i'm saying um you know you're solving a problem

00:04:00.200 you know there's a lot of lonely people out there and whether you agree with it or disagree

00:04:04.680 with it or how you think about it morally is not the case i mean i think it's definitely 0.84

00:04:08.520 entrepreneurship i mean fucking drug dealings entrepreneurship right you know so uh 0.85

00:04:15.460 i mean the level at which entrepreneurship it is is debatable because you're not really 0.94

00:04:21.640 you know you're not really innovating anything you know right people have had buttholes for

00:04:25.660 yeah ever yeah and you know i think you've just taken something that people search for in reality

00:04:33.000 and putting it in a digital format and you're selling it yeah now you know it doesn't matter

00:04:38.480 what you think of it but yeah for taking morality aside from it right but but so the you're saying

00:04:43.000 the fundamentals are there but i think that does lend to like this this this thing that i mean you

00:04:48.360 always try to you know practice right like this ethical entrepreneurship of actually solving real

00:04:54.580 problems with with real solutions what what's the is that is it not really really meeting that line

00:05:02.640 or i mean does it really matter in this in this i mean in today's culture you know i mean there's a

00:05:08.060 lot of people that don't have social skills who don't know how to date who don't know how to meet

00:05:12.520 people who are you know addicted to their phone and and whether or not we agree i think you guys all

00:05:17.800 know that like i don't think that's a good thing sure but we can't argue if it is or isn't i mean

00:05:23.800 it is yeah you know so what would you like to see like out of because i mean i feel like this

00:05:30.200 whole only fans thing it is going to be a trend it's a fad right now i don't see it being like

00:05:34.260 this long-term thing so do you have any recommendations why do you see it not being a

00:05:39.160 long-term thing i don't i don't think culture will tolerate i think there's going to be a swing in

00:05:42.480 culture to where like we will there will be a morality shift in culture i believe i i think that's

00:05:47.440 already happening right and so i think like what as far as this like what the demand for that product

00:05:52.120 though is infinite potentially for sure but i think i mean we're already seeing in you know

00:05:56.860 there's states uh that have already you know changed the the uh requirements for like porn

00:06:03.240 just even in just simple porn sites right like you have to have age checks and verifications

00:06:07.060 i think there's going to be an elevation in morality in society and culture that's going to raise

00:06:12.200 some standards and expectations and so with that i think i hope that well dude let me ask you this

00:06:18.160 yeah all right say there's a married couple and sexually they're into voyeurism or somebody you 1.00

00:06:25.020 know like watching them have sex and they do only fans together is that immoral i mean personally

00:06:33.060 i think it's still is it yeah why because you're just sharing what you would naturally do publicly

00:06:38.640 you're not marketing to kids you're not marketing you're i'm just asking a question i mean i think

00:06:44.380 there's always going to be a demand for it here's what i think you're saying yeah what i think you're

00:06:48.940 saying is there's going to be social rejection of the people who have done it for sure we're already

00:06:53.560 seeing that we're seeing a lot of men say there's no way i would date a girl in only fans right there's

00:06:58.600 no way i would marry a girl from only fans and you know like bro i think that's a legitimate

00:07:04.180 you know concern of most men right and women seem to you know have bought into this feminism 1.00

00:07:10.240 shit where they're like i don't give a shit what people think but you do because then when no men 1.00

00:07:15.720 want to date you or marry you you get very upset about it so they're this is a non-emotional issue 0.99

00:07:22.760 it's just what is and what isn't and for most men having their their counterpart on only fans

00:07:29.980 uh for everybody to see is not what they want they don't want that they don't want to walk into a party

00:07:36.100 with especially ambitious men and successful men they don't want to walk into a party with a woman 1.00

00:07:42.660 that everybody else can see naked on the internet or see fucking see them masturbating on the internet 0.99

00:07:48.620 they don't want to they don't want to see they don't want that like that's embarrassing to other men 0.99

00:07:53.220 and uh it is what it is now men might have sex with those women and do i think that's fair i i'm not

00:08:03.860 the fair judge i'm just telling you the way it is right um but there's a lot of confusion around

00:08:08.880 what's happening in society and i don't think it's good bro i don't think men were ever meant to see

00:08:14.080 unlimited naked females at their disposal at any time of the day 24 hours a day i think it's very 1.00

00:08:22.760 destructive and i think what it does is it actually destroys men's motivation to try and become and

00:08:30.300 achieve and conquer and build and become the best version of themselves because that's really one

00:08:37.720 of the biggest motivations for men one of the biggest motivations for men to go out and build

00:08:42.300 a life is so that they can have more choices when it comes to women and women probably don't understand 1.00

00:08:48.800 that because women have a lot of choices most of their life right so you know when you remove the 1.00

00:08:55.580 motivation for men to a big part of the motivation for men to go out and become something you get men

00:09:01.460 that produce less and become less and i think we're seeing that in society you know so um is it actual

00:09:09.000 entrepreneurship or is it you know i mean yeah bro there's girls that make millions of dollars a 1.00

00:09:13.480 month doing taxes yeah yeah um well that's a whole nother thing a lot of them just got in trouble for

00:09:18.580 that but but yeah pay taxes huh i said they're supposed to pay taxes yeah well they don't yeah

00:09:25.140 that's a whole nother topic but yeah man i think uh i i think it's very damaging to men in particular i think

00:09:33.680 it removes their motivation i think it i i take away you know you not wanting people to see your girl naked or 0.96

00:09:42.100 doing shit take that away and throw that out the window um when men have unlimited selection 1.00

00:09:48.740 of you know sexual gratification through porn or through only fans or even through men that can get 1.00

00:09:58.940 any women they want because there's men that can do that like that are at the highest level

00:10:02.760 and they don't exercise discipline it actually removes motivation for them to become what they're

00:10:08.180 supposed to become and you know when you meet someone that you love and that you connect with

00:10:14.920 in a real way that person should help drive you to become the best version of yourself and so you know

00:10:21.860 that partnership is very very crucial to the success of a culture because we have roles and we have a

00:10:30.960 partnership that is pushing people to be better and when we remove that because men can just get 0.88

00:10:36.320 whatever they want whenever they want and they haven't earned it you get a bunch of pacified 0.98

00:10:41.020 weak men that live in their basement and jerk off 20 times a week you know what i mean and that's what 0.96

00:10:45.500 we end up with and they don't build anything they don't conquer anything they don't contribute to 0.98

00:10:49.320 anything they don't become anything and you know we society loses out yeah so i mean i think there's a

00:10:56.780 big discussion that could be had there and it could be hours and hours long um but you know i don't think

00:11:03.100 that um you can't say it's not a business sure you know what i mean yeah i love it man i love it well

00:11:10.700 guys andy i got some i got uh three good ones for you three more good ones for you three more three

00:11:16.400 more okay three more open the door all right uh guys any question number one you didn't get that one

00:11:22.920 open the door baby roof you know the guy that's like knocking on the door bill the okay the bill collector

00:11:31.100 the guy won his bike back 0.98

00:11:34.720 oh man guys any question number one what's up andy uh thanks for the show you and dj are funny as fuck 0.86

00:11:46.780 and i love following the advice you give i'm 26 years old and i've had trouble running my clothing

00:11:53.040 business um i've completely transformed my mind and body and i've been told that once you become an

00:11:58.960 all-around better person it makes it so much easier to succeed in business as well the only problem is

00:12:05.540 my business isn't getting any better so my question is what can i do to get more customers in the door

00:12:11.420 and how can i create a culture or feeling that makes my brand stand out thanks andy okay well first

00:12:18.880 of all yeah you can get ripped bro and you can get your mindset right and you can get uh you know

00:12:25.640 healthy mentally and you can become the best version of yourself

00:12:28.780 but unless you know the fundamentals of business and execute those you're not going to be successful

00:12:34.740 so we have to understand when i talk about you building the best you to become successful that's

00:12:40.460 with an understanding that you're executing the basics from a tactical standpoint and if you

00:12:46.440 understand the tactical techniques that it takes to build a business to market to brand to fulfill the

00:12:54.360 customer to scale all of these things um when you understand those and you execute those and then

00:13:02.980 you become the best version of yourself you become way more effective and then you will make a lot more

00:13:07.820 money but this idea that you can just do all of these things and money's just going to come flowing

00:13:13.180 in the door that's that's not true so you might be a little misunderstood there bro um so that's the

00:13:21.120 first part of the question the second part of the question is how can i get more customers and my

00:13:24.900 business is not getting better well that could be a lot of things man like i don't know exactly

00:13:30.040 what your problem is your product could not be good your message could not be resonating you couldn't you

00:13:35.300 could be telling a poor or a weak brand story you could have your product doesn't fit right or it's

00:13:42.420 inconsistent um maybe your ads aren't resonating maybe you're taking too long to deliver the product

00:13:49.340 uh maybe when people are getting the product it's fucked up who knows like there's not enough data 0.88

00:13:56.200 here for me to tell you what's wrong but what i will tell you is that if you think that you're just

00:14:01.220 going to do some cold plunges and lift weights and get ripped and then you're going to become a

00:14:05.360 multi-millionaire that's not the case if you learn the basics of business and what i would

00:14:11.340 encourage you to do is to go back and listen to every single mfceo project and then consider joining

00:14:17.200 arete syndicate where we go through these exact topics over the course of a year and help guys

00:14:23.820 just like you figure out what to do and then you meet hundreds of other people inside that group

00:14:29.280 who are on the same mission as you who honestly become your go-to network so that's what i would

00:14:35.560 tell you you know uh how do you get more customers i can answer that in a general sense not knowing exactly 0.99

00:14:41.000 what you have going on you know i could tell you where most people fuck this up most people fuck 0.94

00:14:46.780 this up and they think they're going to launch something they think they're going to make a

00:14:52.720 product they think they're going to have a big launch and they're going to get a thousand customers

00:14:57.280 today and dude that's not how this works you guys have to think of the game differently and it's

00:15:02.220 always one customer at a time when we think about how word of mouth spreads now versus how word of

00:15:09.280 mouth spread 25 years ago it's a completely different game when you consider how it spread

00:15:14.740 a hundred years ago it's a completely different game but the principles still exist the same if you

00:15:23.080 service a customer you have one customer you make a product that they're happy with you fulfill their

00:15:28.840 needs in a way that are remarkable meaning that they will actually share and speak about and tell people

00:15:34.640 about that person will tell people the story of your brand about you about your product and then

00:15:40.960 you will have two customers okay now we are fortunate to live in an environment where we have technology

00:15:46.520 through this little phone that we all carry in our pockets to spread messages more quickly so

00:15:51.800 in the old days where you would have you know no internet no social media no cell phone you know

00:15:57.900 those stories took years and years and years and years and years to spread and you had to do what you do 0.98

00:16:03.180 at a high level for a much longer time for people to accept how good your shit was now we live in an 0.98

00:16:10.340 era where people can push a button on their phone and talk to everybody they've ever known in their 0.99

00:16:14.200 whole entire life and tell a great story about your product your brand your service and you instantly

00:16:20.500 all right and you need to leverage that as much as you can and the way you leverage that is by taking

00:16:25.320 the one or two customers or five customers or 100 customers that exist and treating them in such a way

00:16:31.640 that they tell an incredible story about you and your company and your clothing brand um how do you

00:16:37.400 scale culture around your brand well your brand's got to mean something it can't just be a shirt with

00:16:43.480 a saying on it now it could be and you could sell that and like let's just say you're uh you're you're

00:16:49.580 somebody who makes shirts on the trend right like you make a shirt based on something that's

00:16:55.120 happening inside called like hot hot to all right like that's what's hot right now and you sell a

00:16:59.860 bunch of those shirts okay you're getting sales but you're not going to build culture around that

00:17:03.860 unless you do that so consistently that people know you're the go-to person for the funny shirts

00:17:08.940 all right but in reality what you have to do is you have to decide what your brand looks like what it

00:17:15.140 feels like what it stands for and then you have to effectively tell that story and live that story

00:17:19.960 through the way that you do business this is a long conversation i mean this is a workshop i could

00:17:25.200 go over this for two or three days in a row maybe a week in a row and not teach you everything there

00:17:29.620 is to know and this is why rt syndicate exists but you know just that little direction i think will

00:17:33.920 help you a lot stop thinking you can get a hundred customers at a time and start focusing on that one

00:17:39.120 customer at a time and servicing them in such a way which by the way is the right way to do business

00:17:44.920 it's the ethical way to do business it's serving them in such a way that they tell the story about

00:17:50.160 you your brand and what it means to them and that will get you more customers i love it i love it guys

00:17:55.320 andy question number two uh hi andy um i'm a mechanical engineer with seven years experience

00:18:03.300 i recently moved from a worldwide company with thousands of employees to a small company with 30

00:18:09.860 employees and i am one of two engineers uh it is me and my supervisor on the engineering side and my

00:18:15.840 new company the owner or ceo is passionate about the design of our products and tends to micromanage

00:18:22.980 the engineering side for example sometimes he will force me to design something his way even though i can

00:18:29.860 prove to him that his ideas present several issues uh basically since he is the boss it's his way

00:18:35.680 uh that's one issue but the other one that bothers me is he will make comments like quote i'm holding

00:18:42.320 you responsible if this product fails so basically i'm being told that i'll be accountable even though 0.51

00:18:48.020 i'm being forced to design things a certain way that i don't agree with if shit really hits the fan i'm 0.76

00:18:54.700 nervous about what could happen any advice on how to navigate this uh yeah on the first point well

00:19:00.520 that's the way business goes um if you want to design products your way and you want to do things

00:19:06.700 your way you should go build your own 30 company or 30 employee company and do that okay right now you're 0.91

00:19:13.640 a fucking employee which means if a customer if your owner your ceo or whoever wants things done a certain 0.97

00:19:20.140 way he's paying you to do those things a certain way now your job as a value employee is to raise the 0.99

00:19:27.660 objections and to show hey i don't know that this will work or i don't know this is the best idea

00:19:32.200 and what it sounds like is that you have a hard time bringing that to your supervisor without you

00:19:39.260 feeling like you're going to get in trouble to do so so what i would recommend is having a little bit

00:19:45.440 more of a backbone understand that he wants first of all i think it's great that he's passionate enough

00:19:52.760 to micromanage okay instead of you being upset that this person wants to have their hands on it

00:19:58.880 maybe you should be thankful that this person cares so much about the company and about the direction of

00:20:04.480 the brand and where it's going to go and how that's going to affect you and your family maybe

00:20:09.860 you should be grateful for that instead of complaining about it because there's most places

00:20:13.380 the ceo is off-site all the time they're at home they're on the lake they're on the boat they're

00:20:19.180 fucking off they're in italy they're not helping you that person whether you agree with them or not 0.96

00:20:23.660 is helping you so while they might be quote-unquote micromanaging and it might be annoying try to be 1.00

00:20:29.300 thankful for it because i'm sure he's not micromanaging because he wants to fucking lose 0.92

00:20:33.500 right okay so that's the first thing i would say the second thing i would say is what i said you know 0.68

00:20:39.020 already which is you're an employee and you get paid to do things a certain way um but if you want

00:20:43.480 to be a super valuable employee you should point out the objections that you have based upon your

00:20:49.460 expertise and potentially your supervisor who's been doing something that you do for much longer

00:20:55.260 than you have has probably already thought those through and maybe knows exactly why he wants to do

00:21:00.940 them that way versus why you want to do them your way there's so many times where a young person who

00:21:06.840 is a skilled person like a designer or someone with technical skill like an engineer who believes

00:21:13.640 that they know because they went to school exactly what needs to be done and this person who's been

00:21:19.040 doing something for their entire fucking life doesn't understand because they didn't go to school 0.94

00:21:24.440 here's the reality there's probably a very good reason that that person is telling you no we don't want 0.98

00:21:31.840 to do it that way and i will bet that the reason is is because they did it that way before and it

00:21:37.340 produced a negative outcome and what's happening in my opinion in this scenario is there's bad

00:21:42.020 communication on both parts the ceo or the owner of the supervisor is is not telling you why we

00:21:48.180 shouldn't do things that way so it's leaving you confused and you make it feels like you're being

00:21:52.300 micromanaged instead of working together on a project the difference between micromanaging and

00:21:57.180 working together on a project is communication hey this is why we can't do this because last time 0.99

00:22:02.660 we did this 10 years ago when you were 12 uh it fucking did this and this and this and we fucked 0.99

00:22:08.400 it up okay that's a teaching moment that a lot of ceos don't do because they just want to get the 0.98

00:22:13.800 shit done right so there's communication issues on both sides here but the second part of it is you 0.58

00:22:20.180 should understand that your value as a paid employee is increased by bringing things to the 0.96

00:22:27.660 supervisor that will improve the brand and you have to have the nuance and the ability to understand

00:22:36.020 the difference between you wanting to do things your way or you wanting to do things that are good

00:22:41.800 for the brand because your ego which you have is the same as that person's ego and naturally as human

00:22:48.560 beings we want our decisions to be chosen because there are decisions but in reality on a team which

00:22:55.480 a business is a team it doesn't matter whose decision we go with as long as it's the right one and

00:23:01.660 everybody benefits from it so your job is to communicate the objections you have and then find out

00:23:08.440 why they have objections to it in a positive way that is that is uh non-threatening non-disrespectful

00:23:16.340 and constructive and so instead of you sitting here saying i don't know what to do i would open

00:23:21.720 up dialogue with your supervisor and say hey look i know i don't know everything okay but here's what

00:23:29.120 i'm seeing here what why do you see it differently because maybe he maybe he just doesn't see it the

00:23:35.040 way you see it or maybe there's a good reason that they're saying no but either way there's communication

00:23:40.220 here and any technical skilled person i'm going to give you some free advice whether you're a graphic 0.98

00:23:45.980 designer a videographer you design apparel you fucking you know you're an engineer you're you're 0.97

00:23:52.820 a technical person you have to understand that the person who is running the company or supervising you 0.98

00:24:00.940 even though they may not have that skill to sit down at a computer and do the thing they probably

00:24:07.540 understand the result that's needed much more than you do just because you understand how to sit at a

00:24:13.920 computer and design a graphic doesn't mean that you understand what the right graphic is to attach

00:24:20.380 itself to the brand or the customer does that make sense they have the vision yes so you have to respect

00:24:26.160 that a lot of people with technical skill because they think they're they have technical skill will look 1.00

00:24:32.040 at their supervisor and be like that guy's a fucking idiot he doesn't know what the fuck he's doing 1.00

00:24:35.340 well how the fuck did he get where he is then you think he just got lucky you see what i'm saying 1.00

00:24:40.640 so have communication open it up be respectful be open-minded be willing to learn and most importantly 0.98

00:24:48.540 realize that we're on the same team and you should be very grateful for that ceo that wants to walk

00:24:54.300 by your desk and say hey this needs to be this way that needs to be this way while it might be annoying

00:24:58.980 to you that person wants to fucking win more than most ceos and you'll find that out if you go work at 0.75

00:25:04.480 other places like you already have why'd you leave that first place right right you see what i'm 0.88

00:25:09.420 saying so you're you're the way i'm hearing this is you're not really happy either way you're not 0.98

00:25:14.480 happy when no one pays attention to you and you're not happy when someone does so what the fuck maybe 0.98

00:25:19.500 it's a you problem dude i thought about two things here when i was thinking about this and like 0.99

00:25:23.840 you know the first thing that came to mind you touched on a little bit this ego thing here right 0.96

00:25:28.500 but like you don't want to get a big head you don't want you how damn it 0.82

00:25:33.440 um what no but what it made me think of one of the one it made me like it made me think of two 0.77

00:25:41.220 things and the first thing is like you know sometimes you're not able to see your full potential

00:25:45.280 and the other your boss does yeah you know so like you may think that what you just delivered was the 0.96

00:25:50.720 you know the best shit since sliced bread it might be your best and it might be yeah but because you lack 0.95

00:25:55.460 the perspective in the experience you don't know the result that's going to produce right right 0.99

00:26:00.180 and i can because i and i can like just from personal experience working with you right like

00:26:04.040 i've been with you for a while i've seen this at play right i've seen people deliver something and 0.92

00:26:08.400 it's like no fix it right and it's like well what the fuck man what's wrong with it exactly and then 0.95

00:26:13.480 there's this this this is this and then they'll say well i don't know well yeah you wouldn't know 0.97

00:26:18.040 because you haven't been doing this 25 years right but i don't expect you to know that that's why i'm

00:26:21.580 telling you to change it right and they take that in they come back and the the next product that

00:26:25.360 deliver to you it's 10 times better yeah right so or they quit trying hard because they think that

00:26:30.800 you're going to reject all their ideas and they remove all value from their from their existence

00:26:35.020 in your role right okay so don't be that person when someone gives you criticism and someone gives

00:26:40.600 you a framework or someone gives you some advice who's older than you has been doing it longer than 0.99

00:26:45.400 you you should give them the benefit of the doubt that that's a pretty smart motherfucker 1.00

00:26:49.160 like my dad who's fucking 80 years old sometimes he says shit and it sounds crazy but you know how 1.00

00:26:55.840 many times he's been wrong zero the motherfucker's always right and you know why he's always right 1.00

00:27:01.140 because he's lived on this motherfucking earth twice as long as me he's just seen it yeah he's seen 0.98

00:27:06.980 you can't replace that no and that leads into my second point too because he says he's pretty new to 0.92

00:27:12.000 this company there is a thing there's an aspect of trust here too right like you have like you maybe you 0.99

00:27:17.800 just haven't been there long enough to truly trust that your ceo or your leader knows what the fuck 0.89

00:27:22.740 they're doing like it bro if you tell me maybe you shouldn't take the job if you don't trust them 0.94

00:27:26.460 well i'm saying like i mean but like that takes time to build right i think a body of work should

00:27:31.960 speak for itself yeah you know if you walk into a company that's built from the ground up such as

00:27:36.800 maybe i don't know the companies i've built and you automatically think you know more than me you're

00:27:41.700 probably making a pretty ignorant mistake yeah you know what i'm saying now there's probably a whole

00:27:46.960 lot i can learn from that person as well but i can promise you this if someone puts something in

00:27:52.040 front of my face at this point in time there's a 98 chance i'm going to tell you if it's going to

00:27:57.480 work or not because i've been doing this since i was 19 years old you see what i'm saying right so and

00:28:03.280 and that's where like the technical knowledge people and the experienced people disconnect it's

00:28:08.880 all about communication dude i love it i love it uh well guys andy our third and final question

00:28:15.140 question number three uh hey andy and dj love what you guys do love the loo i went to logan

00:28:21.700 university in chesterfield long before it was called logan university uh we loved every minute 0.96

00:28:26.720 of our time there except for that goddamn provale cheese you watch your goddamn mouth how about that 0.99

00:28:32.840 provale cheese he's hating on provale cheese that's just the shit um anyway uh he says anyways i'm 1.00

00:28:40.640 nearing my 50th birthday and i've worked my ass off uh to provide for my family for the past 23 years 0.98

00:28:48.340 i got a great wife a great family for absolute beast for kids uh one's pro soccer player and two 0.99

00:28:54.940 full rock college athletes damn big house uh great practice two grand babies life is good damn you've 1.00

00:29:01.520 been killing it bro fucking killing it man uh my question is as a high performer like yourself 1.00

00:29:08.120 how do you prevent the quote unquote it's good enough uh how do you prevent that thought from 1.00

00:29:15.540 creeping into your mind because most nights i just want to come home float in the pool have a cocktail

00:29:20.420 and enjoy the fruits of my labor so how do you prevent this this this idea from creeping in that

00:29:25.900 it's good enough well sometimes it is good enough sometimes it is good enough and let me tell you when

00:29:31.560 that time is because it's a lot different than what most people think when when you have enough

00:29:36.220 money in your bank account that you can live at the lifestyle you want for the rest of your life

00:29:41.580 and then have that exact amount of money left over okay for emergencies not talking about an extra

00:29:48.220 100 grand i'm talking about double what you think it's going to cost then it's good enough okay because

00:29:55.680 there's going to be things that come up there's going to be things you want to do there's going to

00:29:58.500 be things you want to buy there's going to be lifestyle improvements and when you're at that level

00:30:02.740 at 50 years old you might i just had a friend of mine i had a friend of mine who's 53 years old

00:30:07.340 who's made hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of millions of dollars sitting on stacks of cash 0.93

00:30:11.940 going through a hard time in his life and business he's got so much money he can't fucking spend it 0.88

00:30:17.720 all right and i looked at him and i'm like why are you doing this to yourself you don't have to do 0.97

00:30:21.800 this you see what i'm saying but most people think it's good enough when they're fucking 25 0.94

00:30:26.900 okay and most people think it's good enough when they're 30 and then when they're 35 and then they 0.94

00:30:32.440 buy into this idealistic culture of i'm just going to float through life i'll figure it out

00:30:37.340 you know i whatever happens happens and then they run out of money and they get in a panic and they

00:30:42.660 don't know what to do and i'm going to tell you someone who's you know gone through a large part of

00:30:46.400 my life with no money there's nothing worse than the financial pressure of having no money

00:30:50.300 having no money okay money is extremely important so sometimes it is good enough and and dude if

00:30:57.400 you're a high achiever you're going to need to redirect that focus into something else maybe it's

00:31:02.300 a charity maybe it's a sport maybe it's a hobby like i have another very good friend of mine who who

00:31:09.020 was very successful in business and retired pretty early and went for four or five years with nothing

00:31:15.380 to do and was going crazy and then started a gun company a custom gun company where they make the

00:31:20.120 nicest firearms in the world and now he's happy doing that you see what i'm saying when you're 0.76

00:31:24.940 built to fucking go to battle you have to have a project to work on and as entrepreneurs high 0.97

00:31:30.680 achieving people we have to have a project bro we have to have a purpose we have to have a mission 0.99

00:31:36.300 we have to have an enemy to defeat and if we don't have those three things we're fucking miserable 0.88

00:31:40.740 that's what high achieving people are built for so if you're going to replace you know whatever it is

00:31:46.440 you've been doing which you sound like you might be a little bored with you got to find

00:31:49.960 something else to replace it with all right that's going to that's going to satisfy those

00:31:53.860 things or you're going to be miserable um this idea of like going to the beach and just retire

00:31:59.220 bro that bro yeah have you have you ever gone on a beach vacation yeah once okay after like three 0.99

00:32:05.780 days it's fucking stupid it gets old yeah like bro and you think you're going to go down like if 0.99

00:32:10.860 that's what you feel like you're missing in life just go to fucking cancun for three days just go 1.00

00:32:14.680 do it real quick come back yeah um but dude you know the the thing is that people here here's the 0.97

00:32:22.520 fundamental reality is that people greatly misjudge what it's actually going to take and they also

00:32:32.320 misjudge how much money they need to make and how hard it is going to be to make that money

00:32:39.580 the the the idea of what it takes versus what it actually takes is almost polar opposites in culture

00:32:48.820 right now we have all these people on the internet telling all these people who are just desperate to

00:32:53.960 make some extra money that it's easy quick pain-free and you're going to be rich and i'm going to make 1.00

00:33:00.580 you rich and all of that shit is a lie that is all a fucking lie all of it okay becoming successful 0.99

00:33:08.000 is way harder than you think it takes way longer than you think it takes everything you got and if 1.00

00:33:14.160 you don't give it everything you got you're not going to make it and even if you do give it everything

00:33:18.320 you got if your skills aren't good enough such as the first guy in the first question you won't make

00:33:23.260 it so you got to have the recipe of all of these things to make it we got we got to remember dude

00:33:28.700 winning is rare it's not this thing that everybody gets to do the internet makes people believe

00:33:34.740 that winning is so common and so it's it's they make it seem like it's the default no losing is 0.98

00:33:41.740 the default bro being broke is the default you have to work your fucking ass off to not be one of those 0.96

00:33:47.840 people and most people are broke and they don't know it they don't they don't they don't realize 0.97

00:33:52.300 that you're in the broke category you know what i'm saying like when you're barely making it and

00:33:56.980 you're living in an apartment and you're stretching and you have 200 bucks left after you pay all your 0.99

00:34:01.220 bills guess what motherfucker you're broke okay so what do you have to do to move from this situation 0.99

00:34:07.860 okay you have to get more skills you have to provide more value whether that be inside of your 0.99

00:34:14.080 own company or a company that you work within and you have to be undeniably great so how do you do that

00:34:20.500 well that takes an investment on your own time you can't go out and party with your friends 0.97

00:34:24.640 all these people that you see driving mercedes and bmws and bentleys and all this shit these 1.00

00:34:30.840 motherfuckers didn't go out every fucking day of their life they didn't do all this shit that poor 1.00

00:34:35.080 people do and i'm i hate to say it like that but like bro going to the bar every weekend that's poor 1.00

00:34:40.460 people shit it just is and i'm not trying to be an asshole i'm just being real like wealthy people 0.98

00:34:45.480 do not fucking do that okay so you if you want to talk about like fake it till you make it it's not 1.00

00:34:51.420 fake it till you make it like one of these dumbasses on the internet where they go out and 0.99

00:34:54.820 spend every dollar they have to present themselves as some sort of successful person that's not what 0.97

00:35:00.380 that means fake it till you make it means fake the behavior of wealthy people until the wealthy until

00:35:05.240 the behavior starts producing a result and so what do wealthy people do wealthy people associate with 0.91

00:35:11.440 other wealthy people wealthy people make sure that their shit gets done wealthy people don't abuse

00:35:16.440 substances they might drink they might smoke a little but it's not an irregular thing 0.98

00:35:20.200 okay what else do they do uh they work harder than most people you know the funny thing is is that

00:35:25.880 the people i know that don't have to work another day in their life happen to also be the hardest 0.96

00:35:31.320 working fucking people i know what do you what do you think that means that doesn't mean they got 0.96

00:35:36.660 successful and decided to work harder than everybody it means they started working harder than everybody 0.99

00:35:40.640 20 years ago when they were nobody and they've kept that habit and now they materialized all this

00:35:46.660 success and people think it's like it's like a coincidence it's not a coincidence okay the reason

00:35:53.160 that the people who have the most money wake up every single day and work harder than everybody else

00:35:58.140 is because they developed that habit when they were broke all right and these are just the realities of

00:36:02.740 becoming successful and i'm not saying that everybody has to become a mega millionaire like dude that's not

00:36:08.320 what everybody wants some people just want to have a little more money and some people just want to

00:36:12.880 you know have a little more freedom and that's okay too i'm not sitting here on my pulpit saying 0.99

00:36:17.980 all you people that don't have money are pieces of shit but if you want more money that's what the 1.00

00:36:23.020 fuck it takes and if you want to be wealthy it takes a lot more than that and it really takes 1.00

00:36:27.820 the entire focus of your life if you think of it as like a professional sport right to be a wealthy 0.99

00:36:33.360 person that would be the equivalent of being on the all-star team all right well what's it take 0.98

00:36:38.360 to become an all-star player in baseball it takes 20 years of fucking work as a kid it takes you 0.86

00:36:44.700 making the team then it takes you starting over to become great at that level and then eventually 0.97

00:36:50.420 you become an all-star and you make a whole bunch of money okay that's the same thing in life and 0.83

00:36:54.720 business you got to work for a long time doing shit you don't want to do when you when you don't 0.87

00:36:59.220 want to do it then you get a shot and when you get the shot you have to keep getting better and it has 0.95

00:37:05.300 to be undeniable like and that's why baseball is such a great sport or professional sports is such 0.98

00:37:10.220 a great example because it's driven by actual statistics you know this motherfucker rushed for 1.00

00:37:16.220 2,000 yards the last three years you know this guy hit 340 for the last seven years you know this guy 0.95

00:37:22.600 hit 50 home runs like it's undeniable and when you think of your career and your business and life like

00:37:28.120 that it becomes more real on what it actually takes like dude this idea that you can just

00:37:36.540 somehow like and this comes from broke parents all right broke parents teach their kids this which

00:37:42.440 makes them broke this idea that you're going to just work somewhere and show up every day and i show 0.99

00:37:50.080 up on time i do my job no shit that's the fuck you get paid for okay that's what you're supposed to do 0.99

00:37:57.380 like that's the bare minimum bro and just because you show up every day for 40 years doesn't guarantee 0.99

00:38:04.060 you anything other than what you already are getting you have to get better you have to provide 0.93

00:38:09.140 more and i didn't make the fucking rules bro i'm just telling you what they are okay and it has to 0.99

00:38:13.820 be undeniable you have to be able to walk into your superior's office and fucking hold up a piece of 0.99

00:38:18.620 paper and say look what i did i did this i did this i did this i did this i did this fucking pay me man 0.99

00:38:25.540 or i'm gonna go over here where they're gonna pay me you see what i'm saying and that's do they not 0.96

00:38:30.520 do that in baseball that's exactly what they do they not do that in football that's exactly okay

00:38:34.460 if you want to know how life really works in business just pay attention to how it is sports

00:38:39.660 is it's the same thing we could talk about all this society stuff about what's fair and what's not

00:38:45.220 fair and who's got privilege and who's got this and who's got that who was born here who was born

00:38:51.020 there you know what fucking matters what stats are you putting up what's your scoreboard say 0.98

00:38:56.520 that's all that fucking matters bro and whether that takes you a year or five years or 10 years 0.99

00:39:01.880 that's all that matters and when you can hold up the results of that and say this is where it is 0.98

00:39:05.640 you get paid okay and there is no situation in life where a high-skilled person gets fucked over 0.98

00:39:13.000 like this is a this is a fucking lie your parents told you oh work for the man for 30 years and 1.00

00:39:19.940 fucking you know walk away with the cheap gold wash they don't give a fuck about you so why are you 1.00

00:39:24.700 putting in any work gee i can't wonder why you never achieved anything okay just because your parents 1.00

00:39:30.500 are bitter fucking losers doesn't mean you have to be all right they're telling you that you're 0.99

00:39:36.540 believing that's the way it is and then you're not even trying and you're showing up at work talking 1.00

00:39:40.700 about oh i showed up on time that's your win i showed up on time in fact i don't give a fuck 0.98

00:39:48.040 what time you showed up i care about those results that's what everything's driven by bro so if you 0.98

00:39:53.840 can't fucking put numbers on the scoreboard you're worth less if you put big numbers on the scoreboard 0.91

00:39:59.060 you're worth more i don't know how to explain this any more clear than that and people have such a hard 0.99

00:40:04.640 time fucking getting it you know like that like just because you work somewhere for five years 0.97

00:40:10.920 doesn't entitle you to anything dude fucking nothing man huh nothing entitles you to absolutely 0.99
