00:00:00.000 What is up guys, it's Andy Purcell and this is the show for the realists to say goodbye 0.99
00:00:21.300 to the lies, the fakeness and delusions of modern society and welcome to motherfucking 0.99
00:00:24.820 reality guys. Today we have Q and AF. That's where you submit the questions and we give 0.99
00:00:33.120 you the answers. Now you could submit your question a few different ways. DJ is going
00:00:37.960 to tell you how. Guys, the first way is you can email your questions into askandy at andyfricella.com
00:00:43.360 or you can drop your question down in the Q and AF episodes in the comments or you can
00:00:51.940 click the link in the description below and submit your questions that way. Yeah, that's
00:00:56.560 the way you guys should be doing it. Get live on the show. Tomorrow we're going to have CTI.
00:01:03.200 Stands for Cruise the Internet. We're going to talk about what's going on in the world.
00:01:06.360 We're going to put topics on the screen. We're going to speculate on what they really mean
00:01:09.820 and then we're going to talk about how we the people have to do the things that need to
00:01:14.480 be done to solve these problems in the world. Other times we're going to have real talk.
00:01:18.640 Real talk is just 520 minutes of me giving you some real talk. And then we have 75 hard
00:01:24.160 verses and we have an awesome episode coming up for you guys this week. If you're unfamiliar
00:01:30.140 with 75 hard, it is the initial phase of the live hard program, which is available for free
00:01:36.320 at episode 208 on the audio feed. If you're unfamiliar with live hard, it is the world's most
00:01:43.340 popular mental transformation program ever. And you can get it for free at episode 208
00:01:50.660 or you could buy the book, which is called the book on mental toughness. You can get that
00:01:56.000 at Andy for seller.com. That is not free, but it is far more in depth. So, uh, yeah, I think
00:02:04.360 that's it. And then we have a, you know, a little fee. The fee is very simple. Um, share the show.
00:02:11.740 We have this little thing that we say around here. Don't be a hoe. Share the show. All right. 1.00
00:02:16.880 What's going on, man? Nothing, dude. Yeah. I, so, um, I have another movie recommendation
00:02:21.400 for you. Really? Okay. And, uh, you know, speaking that I'm like two for two right now,
00:02:27.880 uh, on your, what the fuck? 0.99
00:02:31.520 No, I, uh, dude. Oh man. Yeah. It's a threesome. I got a, uh, another movie recommendation for 1.00
00:02:50.620 you. Yeah. Um, since I'm two for two right now with you on movie recommendations, you
00:02:54.660 are, you are two for two. Yeah. Kingdom of heaven. Yes. And broke back mountain. You said
00:02:59.740 you really like that one. I asked you not to repeat. No, no, but really, I watched this
00:03:06.860 movie last night. I didn't sleep well last night. Um, I don't know what it was weird,
00:03:10.820 but I was on YouTube and there is a free movie on YouTube with ads. It's called nefarious
00:03:17.560 with, uh, Patrick, uh, Flannery and what's his name? Sean Patrick Flannery. Yes. From,
00:03:25.640 uh, Boondot Sinks. Yeah. Okay. He's like the main, it's him, dude. I don't even want to
00:03:32.620 get into it. It's good. You have to watch it. All right. Absolutely. Have to watch it.
00:03:38.640 Okay. Um, it's all I got. No, it's a really good movie. I'm telling you, if you guys have
00:03:47.760 seen it, let us know in the comments. It's a really good movie. Okay. It's a mind fuck
00:03:53.280 man. Have you seen a new F1 movie yet? I've not. It's on Amazon. Is it? I watched it. 1.00
00:03:59.400 Everybody's talking about how good it is. I haven't seen it. Yeah. All it is is days of
00:04:03.820 thunder remade. Is it? Yeah. I probably hate it. It's exactly the same scenes. It's like the
00:04:08.500 same movie. Oh, they took the same plot line. Yeah. It's the same plot line. It's
00:04:11.960 like, dude is like a washed up driver. Then he gets a ride in the big show, you
00:04:19.180 know, him and the other driver hate each other. Then they go to dinner and they
00:04:23.320 play poker and they get, start getting along. And then he gets in a wreck, the
00:04:28.920 other, the young driver. And then like they win. Like it's the fucking same story,
00:04:33.200 dude. Yeah. It's the same story. So what was better? Day of the thunder? Yes. Yeah. 1.00
00:04:38.200 I'm watching this. I mean, dude, for you young guys, you probably never seen days
00:04:41.740 of thunder, but I mean, straight rip off, bro. Yeah. Real talk. I mean, cool repeats
00:04:48.400 itself or at least attempts to. Yeah. Right. Days of thunder is way better. Yeah. Well,
00:04:53.500 I don't know, man, but you got to watch it. Nefarious. Yeah. Watch it. Okay. You'll
00:04:58.420 love it. You'll thank me. Okay. All right. Let's do the show. Fuck. I got it. Nefarious shit,
00:05:04.540 man. Who's in it. Yeah. All right. Um, yeah. All right. Well, let's, uh, let's, let's get 1.00
00:05:09.940 into some Q and A's, man. It's, it's, it's a beautiful Monday, um, labor day. Happy labor
00:05:14.560 day to everybody out there. And, um, let's make some people better. Let's do it. Let's
00:05:19.980 knock these out, man. Guys. Andy question number one, Andy. How my question is, how do
00:05:27.620 you sustain a healthy balance working out, working 12 to 14 hours a day, six days a week
00:05:34.840 operate dump trucks. And I want to improve on myself. I'm not overweight. Um, but it
00:05:40.740 is hard to keep at it with a changing schedule. So I guess just balancing like, what's this
00:05:46.420 idea of balance that people are talking about that I always want. I don't know. You tell
00:05:49.940 me, dude, uh, who makes up this rule about balance and everybody has to have this same balance.
00:05:57.180 Like who wrote this thing? Like, Oh, we got to have a healthy balance. Who fucking defines
00:06:02.820 a healthy balance? Wouldn't a healthy balance be determined by what your desired outcome is 0.99
00:06:09.380 and how to get there. Okay. Like this trying to take extraordinary goals and ambitions and
00:06:20.740 plug them into the idea of balance that everybody else lives by does not work. The reason it doesn't
00:06:30.480 work is because they're looking for one outcome and you are looking for a different outcome. And
00:06:37.640 this would be the same thing if I were to say, Hey, uh, I'm driving to Boston. You're driving
00:06:44.360 to California. Let's take the same fucking route. Like that doesn't work. So what is this with 1.00
00:06:51.260 you fuckers that makes you think that you're going to have balance and also win at a big 1.00
00:06:58.400 level? Now you can have balance and you can get by and you can live a good life and you 1.00
00:07:04.660 can sit by the pond and whistle fucking tunes or whatever you do. But bro, that's not going 0.99
00:07:12.000 to get you the prize too. Okay. You don't get to have your cake and eat it too. That is
00:07:18.660 not how the fuck the world works. And it is so overdone and overcooked and ridiculous at 0.99
00:07:26.480 this point in time that people have not figured out that you can't have both. You can't build
00:07:33.660 amazing shit and also have balance. It's just not real. And anybody who tells you different 0.99
00:07:41.140 hasn't built anything. Okay. Now, can you do things to optimize the amount of time that
00:07:49.480 you're going to get? Yes, you can. That's why I developed the power list. That's what it
00:07:55.300 does. You can get it for free at episode 16. There is also amazing app on iTunes, wherever
00:08:02.700 apps you get, wherever you get your apps, you can get it there. This product, this system
00:08:10.540 allows you to create productivity over the course of time day in and day out and still have free
00:08:21.880 time. Okay. Being busy is not the same as being effective. The more effective you are, the more
00:08:30.480 free time you have, the more busy you are, the less free time you have. Busy equals broke. Effective
00:08:38.560 equals rich. Rich in money, rich in time, rich in opportunity. Okay. So we have to define and think
00:08:48.140 about what it is we are actually talking about here. We are talking about being effective. If you are
00:08:56.260 effective, you will have time to do things with your friends, with your families. The problem is y'all
00:09:03.100 think that fucking being busy is how you get there and that's not the truth. Okay. So, and then on top 0.99
00:09:09.900 of that, there's going to be times where there's zero balance, no matter how effective you are during
00:09:17.680 the day. Like when you're in startup mode or you're in build mode, there's no balance, bro. It's every
00:09:24.020 day, all day, as much as you can do. And it's like that for a long time in the beginning. It's a grind.
00:09:29.020 Yeah. A hundred percent, dude. It doesn't fucking, the rules don't change because you want them to
00:09:35.100 change. They don't change because your favorite therapist you follow on the internet says that 0.99
00:09:40.840 whatever you're doing is unhealthy. Okay. Well then be like them, but you don't want to be like them.
00:09:47.120 You want to have that lifestyle and then you want to have all the other shit too. And that is not how 0.99
00:09:52.120 the fuck it works, bro. And I'm so fucking tired of people asking this stupid ass question. Okay. 1.00
00:09:59.680 I've answered it for 10 fucking years. Every guru dude out there tries to tell you that you can 0.99
00:10:07.400 fucking become a gazillionaire and an hour a day. They're lying. They're misleading you. 0.99
00:10:15.160 All of this shit on the internet is bullshit. Okay. You have to pay the price. And not only do 1.00
00:10:22.460 you have to pay the price, you got to pay the price. Well, meaning the actions you take have to
00:10:28.140 be executed at a high level. Like this is not that hard to understand. You just don't want to understand
00:10:35.060 it. You want it to be that you can fuck off half the time and still get where you want to go. And that 1.00
00:10:42.100 just doesn't work. Okay. So I don't know what it is with you guys. I don't really understand this,
00:10:48.040 but you ain't ever going to get there with that mentality. The mentality should be like this.
00:10:53.740 How the fuck do I get there? Period. Okay. Because it is very hard to get there. It's not easy. 0.99
00:11:00.880 It's not guaranteed. There's nothing about it that's fair. It's very difficult. It takes your entire life,
00:11:07.400 all of your motherfucking energy. And to think that you can get there with balance too is a 0.98
00:11:15.080 ridiculous belief. And it's insulting to anybody who's been down the path. Cause quite honestly, 0.70
00:11:19.760 you don't have any skills. You don't have any experience. You don't have the fucking tools.
00:11:24.300 You don't have the resources. You don't have the connections. And somehow you think you're going 1.00
00:11:27.760 to get there with less effort than even the people who do like, it's, it's so ridiculous. And this is 0.98
00:11:33.380 like, this is the problem with glorifying entrepreneurship. This is the problem with
00:11:41.520 glorifying success. And all of these dumb ass coaches out there that lie to people about what 1.00
00:11:48.720 it actually takes so that they can sell them their little system and they can make money all the while, 1.00
00:11:56.600 the person who's buying the system, it never works for them. And then they think I'm not cut out for
00:12:03.260 success. I'm not cut out to win. I'm not cut out to be that person. I'm wanting to be deep down
00:12:09.080 inside when in reality, you're just being lied to about the fucking game. Okay. And if you knew the 1.00
00:12:15.500 actual rules, you would understand what it took to get there and you wouldn't stop and yourself and
00:12:22.740 say, Oh, well, I guess I don't have what it takes. This is like the diet industry. Okay. The diet
00:12:28.620 industry survives because easy, quick, instant, 20 pounds in fucking one week. And everybody knows 0.99
00:12:37.160 this bullshit, but what happens? Somebody who doesn't know anything starts to buy this shit. 1.00
00:12:43.200 They don't lose any weight. And who do they blame? They don't blame the company for lying to them. 1.00
00:12:48.640 They don't blame the marketer. They blame themselves and they say, shit, well, I guess I'm 1.00
00:12:54.560 just different. I guess I'm just going to be fat. And in entrepreneurship, they're saying this, 1.00
00:13:00.800 I guess this isn't for me. I guess I can't make money. I guess I can't succeed. When in reality,
00:13:07.080 lots of people have the potential to succeed, but they're being lied to about the price they have to 0.99
00:13:13.260 fucking pay. Okay. So get this in your head, the bigger, the life that you're trying to build, 0.99
00:13:21.560 the less fucking balance you're going to have. Okay. And the more balance you have, 0.99
00:13:26.020 the smaller the life you're going to build. That's the reality when it comes to quote unquote
00:13:31.220 success. Now I'm not trying to fucking talk about, Ooh, what the fine success it's fulfilled, 0.94
00:13:40.100 you know, city grounding on the earth is the new rich. No motherfucker. I'm talking about rich, 1.00
00:13:44.800 rich. I'm talking about fucking money. I'm talking about the real success of what we talk about. 1.00
00:13:50.840 I'm not talking about this bullshit fucking feel good nonsense. You know how people are, 0.99
00:13:55.980 bro. Oh yeah. Oh, the fucking new rich is peanut butter and jelly. No, it ain't. The new rich is
00:14:00.300 a big ass bank account, bitch. You know what I'm saying? Like it's always been that way. That's 1.00
00:14:04.200 the only fucking rich. Sending your kids to schools. You want them to go. Now you could be fulfilled. 1.00
00:14:08.800 That's a different thing. Yeah, that's different, bro. But like, I can't stand this fucking saying
00:14:13.440 inner peace is the new rich. That's rich for you. Whatever, bro. I don't give a fuck, 0.99
00:14:19.100 but stop trying to convince people that there's nobility and being less than what they could be 0.98
00:14:23.680 and less than what they should be. Because that idea is what's killing the motherfucking world. 0.99
00:14:27.380 Okay. Every single motherfucking person that lives out there has this vision of who they were supposed 0.99
00:14:32.800 to be. That was placed in their heart by God. And we get beat by society and our friends and our family. 0.99
00:14:41.280 And we get convinced that that's ridiculous. Would you tell God that's ridiculous? 0.98
00:14:45.880 I don't think you would. Okay. Becoming that version of yourself takes courage. Becoming of 0.98
00:14:54.540 that version of yourself takes strength and grit and discipline and consistency. And it's hard,
00:15:00.720 but it's worth it. And it's what you're supposed to do because the reality is other people will win
00:15:07.420 or lose because of what you did with yourself and what you did with your life. And it's very easy
00:15:13.460 to convince yourself that you don't matter. Well, yeah, because they spend trillions of dollars trying
00:15:20.980 to convince you of that. And if you didn't matter and your life was irrelevant, then why would they
00:15:26.420 spend so much time, energy, and money convincing you of that fact? Your results and your life are the
00:15:34.460 biggest thing that you will ever do because it's going to determine what the next generation sees
00:15:42.820 and does. And if you don't respect that, if you don't, if that doesn't motivate you to get off your
00:15:51.480 fucking ass and build something, then dude, I'm sorry. You just don't have it. Go sit at McDonald's, 1.00
00:15:57.680 bro. And fucking eat happy meals. You know, be happy. Yeah, dude, just fucking accept, 1.00
00:16:04.500 accept your reality. That's the problem. We have so many of these people that they don't want to 1.00
00:16:11.100 accept the reality. The reality is you either pay the price now, or you're going to pay it a different
00:16:16.380 way later. Right? That's it. So yeah. Uh, if you, you could do things to optimize balance, bro.
00:16:25.360 But like this idea of balance is, is ridiculous. How do you balance working 10 hours a day working
00:16:35.380 out do like, bro, lots of people do that. Like, what do you mean? How do you just do it? You get
00:16:42.520 your shit organized, get the power list out, make it a fucking priority. Like, see, I've, I've, I've, 1.00
00:16:48.720 and you can tell me if I'm right or wrong, Andy, I'll listen to you. Like your word is gold, bro.
00:16:53.640 But this is something that I've done and this might help. I don't know. But like, I've, I've
00:16:58.500 gotten away from thinking about life in that way of balance. Like I look at it more like on a macro
00:17:04.800 scale of that's how it should be. You know what I'm saying? It's like, okay, well for these 10
00:17:08.740 years, bro, that's correct. I'm going to like, it means it's going to be late nights. Correct.
00:17:13.580 There's going to be some, some, some missed parties. There's going to be like, I got to go right
00:17:18.240 now. I got 10 years, bro. And then in 10 years, then we could talk about, okay, well now can I work
00:17:22.060 on this? That's right. Yeah. Like that's exactly how it should be looked at. But how most people
00:17:28.340 look at it is balance over the course of 24 hours. Right. Right. How, how highly successful
00:17:33.380 people look at it. They look at it as a balance over the next 30 years. I'm going to pay the price
00:17:39.340 now so that later I can have more balance in my life. I can do things I enjoy when my kids
00:17:45.780 are 10, 12 years old. I can do the things that they need to do. This is reality, dude. And like,
00:17:52.560 if you can't do it or you're not willing to cool, but like the games rules don't change just because 0.92
00:17:58.700 you don't fucking like them, you know? And, uh, I, I feel like a lot of the questions we get
00:18:04.260 are just people that want to hear some sort of like confirmation that their little way of seeing
00:18:11.280 things is correct. And the rules are going to bend just for them. And they have, yeah, dude,
00:18:16.040 it's not like that. The rules are the fucking rules. It's like gravity, dude. Like you may 0.99
00:18:21.100 not like gravity. I, you know, I don't fucking, I don't like gravity. Okay. Well, that doesn't 0.98
00:18:26.760 mean it's not going to smash your fucking face if you fall off the edge of a building. Right. 1.00
00:18:30.660 You know, like, I don't know, man. Uh, but yeah, it's, there's distinct differences upon
00:18:38.160 how people evaluate balance and how successful they are. I mean, there's a correlation there,
00:18:50.340 right? Dude, I just look at, I would rather work my ass off now than be fucking 50 something 0.99
00:18:55.000 and having have to and have to and have to. Yeah. Well, dude, I mean, you see it every 0.99
00:19:00.000 day. Like how many of these people, I mean, how many of these people are completely
00:19:05.920 fucking themselves and don't realize that like, dude, when you're 50, you're going to be working 0.99
00:19:12.760 at fucking Taco Bell, but you're cause you're going to have to, you know what I mean? So anyway, 1.00
00:19:17.820 dude, like, yeah. Uh, I say this all the time, but you guys should all remember this. All these
00:19:25.860 memes and all these fucking feel good bullshit. All that does is cloud your mind. All it does is 1.00
00:19:33.700 soften your edge. All it does is remove your focus. And I would argue that the more content you consume
00:19:40.980 from people who are trying to make you feel good and find peace and find happiness. And this in like
00:19:50.400 this very soft way, the less successful you're going to be, bro, because it dulls your edge.
00:19:57.660 It makes you think things should be a certain way for you when you've picked a completely different 0.99
00:20:03.280 fucking path. And then you end up in this situation where you're extremely frustrated because you're 0.98
00:20:10.700 like, well, I should feel peaceful, but I'm fucking, this is so hard. No, you're trying to mix the rules 0.90
00:20:17.320 of two different fucking games, bro. You understand? Like, dude, this, this is, this confuses the fuck out of 0.99
00:20:24.520 people. And dude, it ain't it. It just ain't. You got every fucking fuck face on the internet telling people how to
00:20:33.820 win and they never fucking won. I don't, I don't know what to tell you, man. It's real, bro. Yeah. Like it's, it gets 1.00
00:20:42.800 frustrating, dude. Yeah. Just because you don't like the rules doesn't mean they aren't the rules.
00:20:47.660 That's real, man. Guys, let's get, uh, let's get another question in, bro. Uh, guys, any question
00:20:52.100 number two, Andy, I could really use your perspective on something. Uh, so I've been with a
00:20:57.800 company for seven years and worked my way up from store manager to area manager, and now into upper
00:21:05.260 management along the way. I've taken on everything from hiring onboarding and training to employee
00:21:11.800 development. And I've become the person people turn to when something needs to get done. Uh, the company
00:21:18.500 has grown from four stores to 17 during my time here. Uh, and I've always stepped up without hesitation
00:21:26.060 when the business needed me, here's where I'm struggling. I just found out that two of my male
00:21:33.000 peers who started about the same time as me, um, and were promoted earlier are making more than I am.
00:21:39.820 And their bonus percentage is 15% higher. Now keep in mind, I am paid very well. I feel very greedy
00:21:46.640 even, uh, even feeling this way. Um, I've never believed gender played a role in my career, but
00:21:52.100 seeing this has really shaken me. I've always given 110%, um, and never let money, uh, stop me from
00:21:58.680 doing what's right for the company. But now that I know I'm being compensated less while doing just as
00:22:03.940 much, if not more, um, I really mean I'm doing a shit ton more. I find it harder to keep going the
00:22:10.140 extra mile. What would you do in my situation? Uh, well, are you sure it has to do with gender or are they
00:22:17.000 better negotiators than you? Do they voice their frustrations better than you? You said, Oh, I don't
00:22:23.380 want to be greedy. Well, you've obviously felt that for a while that you probably needed to make more
00:22:28.700 money. Why have you not said anything? Why have you not gone in and say, Hey, Joe and Steve make
00:22:34.360 more than me and I'm kicking their fucking asses. If you're so bad ass, why the fuck are you not doing 1.00
00:22:39.360 that? Okay. I would say it probably has little to do with gender. And I would say it probably has a 1.00
00:22:44.360 lot to do with lack of communication because if you had come to me and, and these are assuming
00:22:49.560 everything you said was true facts. Okay. Assuming all was true and you are highly influential and
00:22:56.220 very much a part of my company going from four stores to 17 stores, I'm taking care of you.
00:23:03.800 Yeah. I'm going to fucking make sure you got what you need. And not only am I going to make sure you 0.96
00:23:07.960 got what you need, I'm going to make sure you got more than what you need because I don't want you 0.99
00:23:11.840 worried about shit. I want you worried about what we're doing here. Okay. And that's the way people 0.97
00:23:16.280 treat valuable employees. And you know, it's, it's completely different than, than non-valuable
00:23:22.800 employees, non-valuable employees, take up space, air, and resources, valuable employees are
00:23:27.780 investments. You fucking make sure that they don't go anywhere. Okay. And if the company's not doing 0.98
00:23:33.180 that, it means two things, either one, you're not vocal enough about what it is that you're doing
00:23:39.520 and you're not tooting your own horn to the people who matter, meaning not your peers. You don't go
00:23:45.940 around to your peers. I'm the fucking best. That's cancer. That's not leadership. I don't 1.00
00:23:50.880 think you do that because you wouldn't have been able to grow the way that you said you've
00:23:53.900 grown by doing that. And the other one is, is that, uh, you know, you need to take that
00:24:00.320 into your superiors and say, Hey, because nobody's going to toot your fucking horn unless you toot 0.99
00:24:05.620 it. And I would have my fucking stats. I would have my data. I would have my KPIs and I would 1.00
00:24:11.440 have my case made for why I should be making more money. And I would be prepared to leave
00:24:17.140 if they didn't give it to me. That's the truth. Oh, that's a tough one. Yeah. Well, there's
00:24:21.060 plenty of companies that hire someone like that. You fucking come work for me. If you really did 1.00
00:24:24.480 all that shit, I'm always looking for people that build shit. Okay. That's assuming what you 1.00
00:24:30.920 said was facts. Okay. Because also I'm going to say a lot of times people believe they're more
00:24:36.420 valuable than they actually are. And they will take credit for things in companies, not realizing
00:24:42.260 that those same things would have happened with or without them. So, you know, I don't know if
00:24:47.480 you're that kind of a person or not, but I'm going to take you at your word and say, you were highly
00:24:50.940 responsible for this. It's either a, um, you're not tooting your own horn or B you're probably in
00:24:58.980 the wrong company. You know what I'm saying? Yeah. Dude. I mean, one thing I was thinking too,
00:25:03.980 like, could it also be to that? Like Steve and you know, Joe dirt or whoever, like they
00:25:10.160 are bringing other things to the table that you're not aware of that, you know, is bringing
00:25:14.120 value somehow. Everybody likes to go to this fucking gender race fucking shit. I don't 1.00
00:25:21.220 give, listen, I want to win. People who run companies want to fucking win. The competition 0.99
00:25:29.260 is hard. It's very, it's the hardest fucking thing ever. Do you really fucking think that 0.99
00:25:36.300 somebody is going to risk not succeeding when they have their whole life and their whole 0.99
00:25:41.440 financial future and their whole thing on whether or not the motherfuckers are male or 1.00
00:25:45.800 a female or fucking black or white or fucking this or that. Those people don't last in business 1.00
00:25:50.840 because they're fucking stupid. Okay. I want the best motherfucking players. It's, it's 1.00
00:25:57.420 like the NFL dude. I don't give a fuck, bro. If we got a tailback and it happens to be a 1.00
00:26:02.600 woman and she can run faster than anybody else and run the fuck over everybody. I'm putting 1.00
00:26:06.200 her in a fucking game, bro. Yeah. Like dude, no one gives a fuck. That's the shit people that 1.00
00:26:12.820 have excuses say. That's the shit that people say when they, you know, look at things and 1.00
00:26:19.320 they're like, Oh, this isn't fucking fair. It's not fair. That's why you have to be so 1.00
00:26:24.420 fucking good and so undeniable that when the conversation comes up, it's like, I'm taking 0.99
00:26:31.500 fucking Pat Mahomes, bro. It's, it's Pat Mahomes. Yeah. Like it is what it is. I'm not fucking 0.99
00:26:36.620 losing. That's undeniable. And people don't realize when we talk about undeniable, we're not 0.98
00:26:42.800 talking about a little bit better. We're talking about so much better than every motherfucker 0.99
00:26:47.340 that walks in that building, whether they work there or don't work there, understand 0.99
00:26:51.400 who the motherfucker is right when they walk in. That is undeniable. Undeniable is a thousand 0.99
00:26:57.800 steps above everybody else. It is not slightly above. Okay. Not close. No. So, you know, look,
00:27:07.600 I don't think it's cause of gender. Your boss wants to fucking win. They're growing the company. 0.99
00:27:14.260 They went from four to 17 stores. They want to win. Okay. So if you're that, if you're that much
00:27:21.880 of a key of the equation, he's going to recognize, or she's going to recognize that they need to 0.99
00:27:26.640 fucking pay you. And if, if they don't, and you really are that person, they're fucking stupid. 1.00
00:27:33.260 Okay. And you know, but I think it probably has to do with you not making a case for yourself the 1.00
00:27:40.560 way they maybe have done. Yeah. And I'm going to, I'm going to ask you that too, because like,
00:27:43.660 you know, dude, let me tell you something. Yeah. Mo now, most people who run companies will not
00:27:49.700 pay someone unless they ask. Okay. And most employees are uncomfortable asking, which creates
00:27:59.920 this dynamic of frustration. Okay. And so the employee doesn't communicate. It's unreasonable
00:28:05.980 expectations. The, the, the employee doesn't communicate. The boss feels like everything's
00:28:11.560 cool. And then all of a sudden the employee fucking bounces. They fucking underpaid me. They 1.00
00:28:16.480 fucked me. They bullshit. You fucked you. You didn't fucking say a goddamn word. You just sat 1.00
00:28:21.520 there and took it. If you got a problem with what you're getting paid, you should make a fucking 1.00
00:28:25.460 undeniable case. Why is you get paid more? And you should take it to your leadership. That's the 0.97
00:28:30.180 truth, but it has to be real. It has to be stats. It has to be data. It cannot be. I think I'm doing
00:28:37.180 better than everybody else. I feel it. Yeah. Yeah. Fuck. I work hard. I show up on time. Yeah. You're
00:28:43.300 supposed to bitch. Like, fuck. You know what I'm saying? Yeah. Look, go tell them what you want. 1.00
00:28:51.940 Hit them with the facts.
00:28:56.740 Period. Yeah. Like, yeah, I do. I was thinking this too, man. Cause like, again, like I'm with
00:29:02.600 you pretty much every day, bro. Like, and I see what you have to go through. Like, dude, there's a
00:29:07.460 major, there's a major lesson in, in the development of an employee to teach them that
00:29:14.440 they have to do what I just said to their own horn. Hold on. No, they've got to make a case
00:29:20.200 data, reality, statistics, points on the board, a real case. Why do you think that is important
00:29:31.140 for an employee's development? Because eventually you're going to have to negotiate deals and
00:29:36.440 eventually you're going to have to handle finances if you continue to move up the chain. And so
00:29:41.800 an intelligent leader will not fucking give someone a raise until they make a case for 0.98
00:29:48.060 it because it, it's part of their development. That's a whole nother play there. Yeah. 0.98
00:29:53.640 No, I was just thinking, I think, I think too, along your lines though, of just like the
00:29:56.800 disconnection though, it's like, there's a, there's a false assumption that like, you know,
00:30:02.040 that your owner or your operator, whoever is supposed to know and be aware of all these
00:30:06.480 interests, like in every little space, you just grew from four to 17 stores. How many
00:30:10.780 more employees is that? And so he's supposed to, all right, Hey, Hey, yeah, yeah. Come
00:30:14.940 in here. I know, you know, you ain't said nothing in a while. Let me, bro. I had an employee
00:30:18.060 recently come up to me and tell me that they, they, that they weren't being treated fairly 0.98
00:30:22.040 and all this shit. Right. And I'm like, well, I don't, how much do you get paid? I don't even 0.97
00:30:29.820 fucking know. Right. You know, I don't know. I have no idea. Exactly. Exactly. Exactly. 0.98
00:30:36.080 That's what, that's my point. It's like being tapped in and I'm like, it's not fair. Well,
00:30:39.180 have you brought that to anybody? Well, no, no. Have you said anything to anybody? No.
00:30:44.000 Right. Have you? Well, what the fuck man? Right. Right. Right. And that's where they
00:30:49.080 go and build their own stories and they start believing. And then it's you fuck them. 1.00
00:30:52.900 Yeah. Right. Right. When we like, dude, no offense to this woman here, but she's already 1.00
00:30:56.740 started to build that story. She's already started to build the story that the reason
00:31:00.520 she's not paid equally is because she's a woman, which data nationally does not actually 0.98
00:31:06.180 back that up at all. True. Okay. So you're making a story in your head that may not be
00:31:11.860 true. And if it is true, it means you work for a shitty company because a real company that 0.98
00:31:15.520 wants to fucking win doesn't give a fuck who, what color, race, gender. I don't give a fuck, 1.00
00:31:21.920 bro. I'm on here every day talking about, I don't care. Winners win. Winners win, bro. 1.00
00:31:28.840 And the best player plays and the people who own companies want to fucking grow and make 0.99
00:31:33.060 money. And they're going to put like, this whole idea is so absurd to me. Oh, you're 0.97
00:31:38.500 discriminating against me because I'm black. What the fuck are you talking about, bro? 1.00
00:31:42.700 I want to fucking win. Can you do the job? You show up late to work, bro. Like, what do 1.00
00:31:46.560 you want me to do? Oh, well. Sorry, that's for tomorrow. Sorry. Listen, that's not exclusive
00:31:54.720 to any race. That's a character thing. Yeah, for sure. And, you know, and then people will
00:31:59.300 show up on time for fucking six months. I'm like, I didn't fucking showed up on time for 0.97
00:32:03.020 six months. It's like, yeah, that's how you don't get fired. That's the baseline. That's 0.97
00:32:08.160 not extra. Yeah, it's baseline. That's real, man. Fuck. That's real. I love it, man. We got
00:32:13.480 one more question, bro. Final question. Guys, Andy, question number three. Andy, I have
00:32:20.060 always been able to go after anything I wanted and getting it by working hard and relying
00:32:27.240 on myself. I've never felt like I needed anyone else for anything. However, as a business
00:32:34.500 owner to a service plumbing company, I've come to realize that I do need others for my
00:32:40.200 success. I need customers to want to do business with my company. I need them to trust me that
00:32:45.400 I will fix their issues efficiently and for a fair price. I need them to refer me to others.
00:32:50.520 I need them to entrust my abilities and allow me to show them that I am an honest business
00:32:55.260 owner and that I will conduct myself in a professional manner. I need suppliers to trust
00:32:59.920 me and give me accounts that will allow my business to be competitive within the industry.
00:33:03.740 So my question is, how do I internally accept the fact that I need others to help me so that I can
00:33:11.740 become successful? I struggle with needing anyone and being vulnerable and even more so conducting
00:33:18.040 myself in the manner of needing others. I do not want to come off as a struggling business, but
00:33:23.400 Jesus Christ, bro, this is the most ridiculous shit I've ever fucking heard. Okay, I'm just going 0.99
00:33:27.500 to stop you right here. What the fuck are you talking about? Are you going to go play in the NFL 1.00
00:33:32.080 and run the fucking football down the field by yourself? You get fucking killed. Business is a 1.00
00:33:36.620 team sport. Part of being successful is working with other people. In fact, it's the main part.
00:33:42.340 You can't do everything on yourself. That's a small minded mentality and it's also an insecure
00:33:47.100 mentality. No one thinks you're vulnerable because fucking are struggling business because you do what 0.99
00:33:52.940 everybody else in the world does and fucking work with people. Right. Like that's fucking insane, 0.99
00:33:57.300 bro. Do you know, do you, do you, do you understand how ridiculous that fucking sounds? 1.00
00:34:01.640 It's insane. You're going to be the only person ever to build a fucking awesome plumbing company by 1.00
00:34:06.060 yourself. No customers. Like what the fuck are you talking about, dude? Okay. Let me give you the 0.99
00:34:12.920 answer to your question. It's real simple. Change your perspective, change your framework from this.
00:34:19.380 I don't need any people. I'm a big, tough guy. I could handle myself. I can do all this shit to
00:34:26.120 this. I love working with people. I fucking love talking to customers. I love the people I go to 0.98
00:34:32.320 work with. I love my vendors. I love my suppliers. I dude, every time you see him be excited. Hey DJ,
00:34:41.000 what's up, man? You know, how's business for you? Your day will be so much more fulfilling and so much
00:34:47.500 more fun and you will make so much more money by just changing your perspective from I'm a big,
00:34:54.500 tough guy. I got to fucking do everything on my own. And otherwise I'm a bitch to man. This is so 0.97
00:35:00.920 cool. I get to do all this great shit with all these awesome people every day, dude. I could be 0.93
00:35:05.740 working by myself, being miserable and not having anybody to talk to. I get to wake up today and I get
00:35:11.080 to go to work and I get to see this person and that person. And I get to talk to them about this,
00:35:15.040 that, this like, bro, that's a fucking privilege. Not everybody has that man. And like, I'm going 0.98
00:35:22.200 to tell you this, the times I've struggled in business the most are the times I've lied to
00:35:27.060 myself about what I have to do. I look at it like, fuck, I got to go in and I got to handle this 0.98
00:35:32.400 problem or I got to this and this and this. And now as I've gotten older, I've started to see it 0.99
00:35:36.800 like this. You know what? This guy's such an idiot for doing this, but like, he's a young
00:35:42.420 guy. He doesn't fucking know. So now I get to help him and I get to save him from doing this 1.00
00:35:46.120 shit later on. You know, I changed my framework. Yes. So you got to change your frame, dude. And 0.93
00:35:52.580 you got to realize that like the, I'm going to tell you guys this too. Let me, I'm going
00:35:56.300 to be really fucking honest. I've made a fuck ton of money. Everybody knows that it's no 0.98
00:36:01.180 secret. I'm very wealthy. I've been very successful in almost everything I've done since
00:36:08.120 the time I was 19 years old. The best part of that entire journey is the people you get
00:36:18.720 to do it with. It's the people you get, it's the vendors, it's the customers, it's the people
00:36:24.540 you talk to, the relationships you build, the friends you make. It's the best. It's
00:36:31.060 the best part of it. So just embrace it, dude. And stop thinking like overanalyzing yourself.
00:36:38.600 Like you're not going to be the first person that does this on your own. Nobody's going
00:36:42.480 to think you're vulnerable or weak because you're doing things that everybody else in 0.98
00:36:47.200 the history of fucking earth has had to do, bro. You get what I'm saying? This is an ego 0.99
00:36:53.020 problem. You need to humble yourself. Okay. You think you're fucking so good and so strong
00:36:58.000 and so tough and so independent. You probably were raised by an old school fucking man who 1.00
00:37:04.560 said this shit. Blue collar man who said, Oh, real man doesn't. Okay, cool. You're trying 1.00
00:37:10.640 to do something different, bro. And, and the truth of the matter is those people are fucking 0.99
00:37:14.840 miserable. Nobody likes them. They don't have friends. They walk around grumpy all the time. 1.00
00:37:20.560 They walk around being kind of dicks, you know? Nope. Like, you know, it's like the 1.00
00:37:26.240 motherfucker you meet. We all know the type. Hey man, what's up? How you doing? Well, living 1.00
00:37:31.480 the dream. It's like, all right, well fuck off then. You know, like, you know, I mean, 1.00
00:37:37.460 that's the truth. So like, dude, you got to change your frame, man. And the cool thing
00:37:43.060 is, is once you start treating people like that, not only are you having more fun and you're
00:37:46.600 happier, more fulfilled, but you're way more successful because those people want to help
00:37:51.060 you. You know what I'm saying? Bro, winning is a team fucking sport. Okay. Even when it's
00:37:56.240 not a team sport, it's a team sport. Tennis, team sport or no? Yes. Coaches, travel, training
00:38:03.160 organization, trainers, recovery, team sport, race car driving, individual or team sport.
00:38:09.660 Massive teams. That's right. You've seen it up firsthand. Okay. People don't fucking think
00:38:15.220 like that. Yeah. Okay. There is not anything out here that you can win at a high level on 1.00
00:38:20.160 your own. It's impossible. Nothing. I can't think of anything. Fucking you. Oh, you're an
00:38:25.100 accomplished author. Okay. Well, who edited the book? Who marketed the book? Who did this?
00:38:29.480 Who published it? Yeah. It's team. Yeah. It's always team, bro. You can't win without it.
00:38:34.700 All right. So bro, humble yourself like for real. Realize that you, you, you can, you're not
00:38:43.340 weak. You're not a bitch. You don't struggle. You're doing business and business requires 1.00
00:38:48.960 relationships and relationships. When seeing through the right lens are very fulfilling
00:38:54.360 and fun. And when you're having fun, you make more money. It's just the truth. Okay.
00:39:00.680 So stop that stupid ass shit. That's the dumbest shit I ever heard, bro. I love it. Yeah. 1.00
00:39:07.440 I mean, shit, man. You know, I want you guys to win, dude. Like, this is why I do this stuff. 0.99
00:39:11.840 You know, I don't do, you know, I don't show, I'm not a, I'm not a, like, I don't show my 0.99
00:39:16.860 shit and cars and life. And I want you to see what the fuck is at the other end. If you 1.00
00:39:22.240 want it, you know, and that doesn't come from doing things on your own or trying to have
00:39:30.300 balance like everybody else. Like, dude, Tom Brady's life and Joe, the fucking plumber's 0.98
00:39:40.860 life look two different ways. And whatever outcome you're desiring requires a certain 0.97
00:39:48.140 path. And when you try to fill your head with information from everybody who's on a different
00:39:53.540 path, that's only going to fuck you up mentally. Okay. And you have to realize that dude, as 0.98
00:39:59.220 an entrepreneur, as someone who's ambitious, as someone who has big goals, you know, the
00:40:03.900 data says, oh, 10% of people are entrepreneurs. No, they're not. It's like, serious entrepreneur
00:40:10.460 is like 2%. Okay. Everybody likes to say they're an entrepreneur. I own a fucking, you know, a
00:40:16.840 drop shipping. Like, dude, no, no, listen, people are not going to understand, dude. They're not 0.99
00:40:25.420 going to understand. And by the way, they don't want to understand. Stop explaining yourself.
00:40:32.500 Stop worrying about what they think. They do not give a fuck about your reasons for doing 0.98
00:40:39.120 it. They want to talk you out of doing it so they can feel better about not doing it 0.97
00:40:43.680 themselves. So you have to stop listening to everything and everyone and reading all this
00:40:50.960 stupid shit on the internet about healthy balance and this and that and this, because it's going 1.00
00:40:56.340 to get you into a place you don't want to be. And then you're going to look around and be 1.00
00:40:59.640 like, why the fuck did I never get where I wanted to go? Wouldn't you rather just get 0.97
00:41:03.980 where you want to go? I don't know, man.
00:41:14.000 I got nothing else, dude. It's just like, I love it. It's like, fuck. Like, I just don't
00:41:18.800 understand this. I just don't understand this mentality, dude. I don't understand this mentality
00:41:23.040 of I want to be a pro football player, but I want to work like I'm, you know, selling
00:41:29.780 snow cones. Like, what are you talking about, man? And by myself. Yes. Like, what are you
00:41:34.400 talking about? You're talking about two different things. Stop trying to take the actions of
00:41:40.060 everybody else and think you're going to have an exceptional result. Everybody else talks
00:41:44.420 about all this shit. And you, if you talk and think like them, you're going to be like 1.00
00:41:48.340 them. It's not that hard to understand. You got to, if you want to win, you better listen
00:41:53.280 to motherfuckers of built real shit. Not some asshole who's just selling you some nonsense 1.00
00:41:56.740 on the internet. Yeah. That's real, bro. I love it, dude. Yeah. I love it too. But like, 1.00
00:42:02.380 I want to, sometimes I want to fucking grab you motherfuckers by the hair and look you in 1.00
00:42:07.240 the eyes and be like, what the fuck are you thinking? Yeah. Like it's not that hard, bro. 1.00
00:42:13.220 It's really not. It's really not. You just have to understand you are on a different path
00:42:20.060 than everybody else. You are on a different path. You can't listen to your mom. You can't
00:42:25.920 listen to your aunt. You can't listen to your cousin. You can't listen to your friends.
00:42:30.380 You're on a different path, bro. And it takes different actions and it takes different thoughts
00:42:34.060 and it takes a different kind of life. And that life ain't for everybody. And if it ain't
00:42:37.900 for you, that's okay too. But you're not going to get the X, the, the excellent, uh, exceptional
00:42:44.340 result with, you know, like there's a saying, bro, you're not going to get a million dollar 0.98
00:42:49.380 result with fucking minimum, minimum wage work ethic. It's not going to fucking happen. 0.99
00:42:53.840 No, that's real, bro. All right. Well, that's a hell of a way to start a week. Yeah. Yeah. 0.98
00:42:59.640 Stop, stop being ridiculous guys. Like, I feel like I just yelled at everybody for fucking 1.00
00:43:05.460 40 minutes. They love it though. They like, they like it. Yeah. It's fine. We got a bunch 0.99
00:43:09.340 of fucking weirdos. All right. Listen, I just want you guys to win, bro. And I want you guys 1.00
00:43:14.140 to know the reality of it. And I want you to understand that most of these people out here
00:43:17.280 aren't telling you because their idea of winning is how to sell you some sort of solution that 0.97
00:43:24.220 isn't even fucking real, man. Anyway. All right. CPI tomorrow. Go on and kick ass. 0.97
00:43:31.400 Yeah. 1.00
00:43:32.400 Went from sleeping on the floor. Now my jewelry box froze. Fuck a pole. Fuck a stove. Counted 1.00
00:43:38.120 millions in the cold. Bad bitch. Booted swole. Got her on bankroll. Can't fold. Doesn't know. 1.00
00:43:44.280 Headshot. Case closed.
