REAL AF with Andy Frisella - 95. Are You Built For It？

00:00:00.000 told my teacher dumb bitch i'm gonna get millions watch this in the project living down spoke it 1.00

00:00:05.580 till existence mold changed to 50 got mold cost than didn't i only weigh 180 but my watch cost 0.99

00:00:11.920 250 what's up guys it's andy priscilla and this is the show for the realists take a bite of the 0.97

00:00:17.360 lies the fakeness and delusions of modern society and welcome to motherfucking reality guys reality 0.95

00:00:23.220 is what matters not what might be not what could be not what should be what is okay and we have to

00:00:33.620 make decisions based upon what is not what we wish it was okay and i got a real important message for

00:00:41.940 you guys today that i want to hit on uh but it starts with a story you know when i was in school

00:00:47.980 um i struggled with school i i was not a great student i wasn't someone who who did uh who got

00:00:56.140 a's and b's i got c's and d's that's reality um when i went to my guidance counselor when i was 16 17

00:01:07.380 years old we were getting ready to take uh the standardized test which at that time was sat and

00:01:13.580 act i was asked what i wanted to do with my life and like most 16 and 17 year olds um you know i

00:01:24.540 didn't really know but i knew i wanted to do something i knew i wanted to be something i knew

00:01:29.280 i wanted to become successful i knew i wanted to win you know living like everybody else was not

00:01:35.140 appealing to me um which coincidentally is why i struggled in school the reason i struggled in school

00:01:40.480 was because i couldn't see the point in a lot of the stuff that they were teaching they would teach

00:01:46.680 these you know trigonometry and and all like all this shit that i i couldn't see the practical purpose 0.71

00:01:55.500 in and because i couldn't see the practical purpose in it i did poorly i wasn't interested i didn't execute 0.82

00:02:02.880 the way that i could have or should have or or whatever but at the bottom line um i did bad in school

00:02:10.220 and so when i went in to uh talk to my guidance counselor you know about what what it was that

00:02:18.860 i wanted to do there you know he wasn't very receptive and uh he asked me he said andy you

00:02:25.320 know what do you what do you see yourself doing where do you want to go and at that time i wanted

00:02:28.700 to play football i wanted to uh i wanted to become you know successful and and i you know i told him i said

00:02:35.880 well i want to go to notre dame i want to go to you know a school like duke or texas and you know

00:02:40.580 play football and his response to me was laughter he laughed and he said oh andy you know those those

00:02:50.600 places and it's getting me pissed off even thinking about it those places are for cream of the crop

00:02:56.160 those places are for or for the the top of the top of the top and you just ain't it and and he used 0.99

00:03:03.180 the term cream of the crop and i remember thinking like well motherfucker i'm cream of the crop even 0.97

00:03:08.680 though you know maybe i wasn't because of what they could see but i knew i had something they just 0.98

00:03:15.480 didn't know i had something and you know now that same school you know um i'm proud to say i've i've

00:03:25.060 you know gone out and done some things and i've contributed financially to that school build them

00:03:29.380 nice facilities one nicest schools in america in fact it won awards for that um and i tell you that

00:03:35.540 story because i think this is an important lesson for what's going on in the world right now when i

00:03:41.400 look around at what's going on in the world right now i see things that really piss me the fuck off

00:03:48.160 and one of the things that pisses me off the most is that when i was growing up you know we were

00:03:56.420 taught you know you could be anything you want you want to be an astronaut you could do it you want

00:04:02.520 to you want to be a a chef you could do that you want to be a firefighter you could do that

00:04:07.340 and as i got older and as i grew up and and and learned a little bit more you know i learned that the

00:04:17.180 real world when you get to a certain age uh doesn't reward those kind of statements you know when you get 0.97

00:04:23.480 to be 14 13 14 15 you're not dealing with your fucking parents anymore you're dealing with the 0.99

00:04:29.120 real world and the real world will quickly remind you that you ain't shit and they will give you every 0.99

00:04:35.580 fucking reason as to why you can't be what it is you want to be and that's when i was growing up 0.99

00:04:43.220 now we have this ideology in america where the teachers are telling the kids especially the minority 0.99

00:04:52.240 kids that they cannot do anything in this country you cannot achieve anything you're not going to be 0.99

00:04:58.900 successful doesn't matter how hard you try it doesn't matter what you do you're going to fucking 0.99

00:05:04.460 fail and dude i i think that's the biggest travesty and the biggest crack of shit that's going on in our 0.99

00:05:11.160 world right now because we as adults should be encouraging these kids we should be teaching these 0.97

00:05:17.540 kids what is truly possible instead of squashing their dreams and squashing their mentality and

00:05:24.500 squashing what they believe they're capable of before they even go out and try okay because i'm 1.00

00:05:31.500 a stubborn motherfucker like you could tell me i'm not going to be able to do shit and i will spite you 1.00

00:05:36.000 by doing it that's just me i have the ability to take the negative and turn it into productive action 1.00

00:05:42.340 i understand what it's like to get told you're fucking loser or you're crazy or when are you 0.99

00:05:48.580 going to get serious about your life you know i worked 10 years guys my first 10 years of business 0.99

00:05:54.880 i made 58 000 cumulative okay for 10 years i heard every person i know making fun of me i heard every 0.99

00:06:04.720 person i know telling me it was that i was wasting my time i heard every i've had every motherfucker i know 0.99

00:06:10.940 when i tell them what we're gonna do and by the way we've fucking done it by now laugh in my fucking 0.99

00:06:16.920 face and i'm sure you guys can relate to that especially you younger guys younger girls too 0.94

00:06:23.000 okay you understand what it's like to have people tell you that you can't do it and i'm gonna tell 0.91

00:06:30.740 you something and this is the fucking truth this is the reality and if you don't like it i don't give a 0.98

00:06:35.660 fuck the truth is this if you're willing to pay the price and you're willing to do the work and 0.99

00:06:42.040 you're willing to take the time and you're willing to consistently get up when you are knocked down 0.98

00:06:47.600 over and over and over again which is going to happen to you if you're pursuing anything outside

00:06:54.000 of the norm you can make it here in america all right now if you choose you can also find

00:07:04.340 every excuse as to why you won't make it you can find every reason if you look for it as to why you

00:07:12.300 won't make it but at the end of the day there's going to be two groups of people and one group is

00:07:17.940 going to be a lot fucking bigger than the other group okay and here's the groups the one group is 0.74

00:07:23.980 going to get told that they can't do it and instead of fighting and instead of working and instead of 0.98

00:07:31.060 you know saying well fuck that i'm not willing to accept that those people are going to just take it 0.98

00:07:38.340 and that's what society is counting on society is counting on you giving up because if you give up 0.99

00:07:46.080 then you can become dependent on the government system to provide for your whole life okay and

00:07:52.180 you could quote unquote go be a little poor me over there in the corner and talk about why you could

00:07:58.800 never make it here in this country that's going to be the bigger group then there's going to be a 1.00

00:08:04.960 smaller group and the smaller group is going to be the group that says hey you know what um i i hear

00:08:11.600 what you're saying but i'm not willing to accept that i'm not willing to just roll over and take 0.96

00:08:18.580 what i'm given i'm not willing to stop trying because you say that i can't fucking do it that's 0.97

00:08:25.640 what you say that doesn't mean it's the truth and for all of you young people out there i hope that you 0.66

00:08:32.940 will take what i'm saying seriously i don't care where you come from i don't care where you were raised 0.99

00:08:38.800 i don't care what color you are i don't care what gender you are i don't care about any of that shit 1.00

00:08:44.800 if you do the work consistently if you invest in yourself consistently but and when i say invest 0.98

00:08:53.320 in yourself i don't mean dollars i mean by reading surrounding yourself with positive inputs okay and

00:08:59.740 then executing positive outputs and when i say positive outputs i don't mean happy go lucky ring around

00:09:04.480 the rosy bullshit i mean work if you're the kind of person who is willing to take the information

00:09:12.020 that's available which by the way there has never been more information available than there ever has 0.96

00:09:18.820 been it's never it's never been more okay when i was coming up in business and and what i do i had to

00:09:26.360 read fucking books and thankfully that habit stuck but right now you can literally go almost anywhere 0.90

00:09:32.440 and learn from directly from people who have done what it is that you want to do we've never had 0.99

00:09:38.860 opportunity like we've had here in this country right now but if you look anywhere other than a place like

00:09:45.020 this in a few other select places you will hear the doom and gloom that you will never be successful 0.96

00:09:51.580 here you will hear how bad america sucks you will hear how uh bigoted and biased america is towards 0.99

00:09:59.980 fucking everybody doesn't matter what your group is there's an excuse for your group 1.00

00:10:05.120 and my advice to you would be to stop identifying with the group and start identifying with the 0.99

00:10:11.140 fucking work because at the end of the day guys one plus one is always going to equal two 0.99

00:10:16.460 two plus two is going to equal four in 10 years of motherfucking work when everybody else is partying 1.00

00:10:22.580 making excuses doing the cool thing on the weekend is going to pay off it just is and you'll never 0.86

00:10:31.180 convince me otherwise and so my talk today obviously isn't for everybody because there's people 0.97

00:10:37.900 listening right now who have already bought into this shit they've already bought into the fact that 0.98

00:10:41.800 no matter what the fuck they do they can't win and that's just not true and i'm not talking to you 1.00

00:10:46.760 guys i'm talking to you guys right now who still have hope who still have the fire who still have 0.98

00:10:53.440 the want and the will and the desire to fucking be more and become more and contribute more and win 0.88

00:10:59.660 more because you know your life will be better and everybody else's life around you will be better 1.00

00:11:04.760 i'm talking to you motherfuckers 1.00

00:11:06.760 you can do this look i don't care who tells you that you can't do it 1.00

00:11:16.760 you're not going to be able to do it you can't win the game's rigged against you you're just a 1.00

00:11:22.940 regular human success is for other people dude we could make a list a mile long of the shit the 0.97

00:11:29.720 world is going to tell you and i'm going to tell you this not one person that you look up to not one 0.99

00:11:36.700 person that you look at and think man i like that kind of life not one motherfucker that has what it is 0.99

00:11:43.880 that you're looking for out of life listens to those people not one not even for a second 0.99

00:11:50.120 so you have a choice to make you can either listen

00:11:53.400 to what the world is going to tell you over and over and over again i'm in this game 20

00:11:59.900 plus years and i still get told all the reasons why we're not going to be able to do what it is we want to do

00:12:07.060 and people who listen to them are going to lose people who win figure out reasons why they're going 0.55

00:12:16.920 to make it they understand that that's all fucking noise they understand that that's all irrelevant 0.87

00:12:22.840 and what is relevant is what you do on a daily basis and i guarantee you if you're sitting there 0.93

00:12:30.760 and you're wondering why it is that everybody else has this and that and this this this and why you 0.97

00:12:37.040 don't have shit i guarantee you that if you take fucking inventory of your actions they equal what 0.99

00:12:43.760 you're getting period so we can talk all this shit about how uh so and so doesn't deserve what they have 1.00

00:12:52.760 or whatever but at the end of the day people who win fucking do shit and people who lose talk shit 1.00

00:12:59.340 and more importantly they talk shit because they've accepted the idea that they can't win 1.00

00:13:05.920 so instead they contribute to everybody else trying to become part of this group 0.99

00:13:11.040 and i don't care who you are i don't care where you come from i don't care what your story is 0.54

00:13:16.480 at the end of the day you can win if you choose to learn the things that you need to do 0.99

00:13:24.400 and then fucking do them and i don't care where you come from 1.00

00:13:29.340 that's reality that's the shit nobody wants to admit because admitting so means that you have to 1.00

00:13:35.600 take responsibility for where you are currently and you have to say well i am where i am currently 0.99

00:13:42.540 because i didn't do x y and z and guess what that fucking hurts a little bit that bothers us a little 0.97

00:13:48.360 bit it's a hard truth to accept but once you accept that truth you are able to then move forward 0.99

00:13:55.560 with the actions required to get you to where you want to go and if you're sick all the shit you 1.00

00:14:02.160 come here and listen to me because i'm going to tell you right now every single mother fucker 1.00

00:14:07.560 listening to this show has the potential to be great you might not be to come the richest person 0.99

00:14:14.180 in the world maybe that's not even what you want to become but you have the ability to create a great

00:14:19.920 life create a great existence contribute to the people around you show them what's possible which 0.89

00:14:26.100 by the way is your fucking obligation on this earth you're only here for a short time if you're not 0.99

00:14:33.440 going to show people what's possible who the fuck else is who's going to show your kids who's going to 1.00

00:14:40.900 show your aunts and uncles who's going to show your fucking nieces and nephews and all the young people 1.00

00:14:46.320 that look at you and think you're the shit you might not think you're the shit but there's people 1.00

00:14:50.360 in your life that think that are you going to fail those people are you going to buy into the narrative 1.00

00:14:57.940 that you can't because if you do dude don't even fucking listen to my show go listen to some other 1.00

00:15:04.540 bullshit go watch the fucking news go be with everybody else i will never conform to that this 1.00

00:15:11.000 we'll never conform to that we're fucking winners here we're problem solvers here if there's a 1.00

00:15:18.000 fucking obstacle to overcome we're going to overcome it if there's a fucking barrier that needs to be 0.97

00:15:23.100 broken through we're going to fucking break through it this is what winning is about and at the end of 0.99

00:15:28.680 the day the world needs winners because winners show the rest of the people what could be and every 0.99

00:15:34.500 single time a single motherfucker wakes up and realizes that they're living less than their potential 1.00

00:15:40.240 that they're achieving less than what they could that they are less than what they are supposed to be 0.98

00:15:45.760 every single time one of those people wakes up you did a morally good deed by living your best life 0.81

00:15:53.240 and i want to leave you with this thought because it's important you either are you fucking aren't 0.98

00:16:01.460 you either will or you fucking won't you're either going to become or you're not going to become 0.99

00:16:08.160 and it's not because of the outside circumstances it's because of the inside circumstances so you 0.99

00:16:14.820 could tell yourself all the shit you could tell yourself all the shit all the reasons why you're 0.99

00:16:21.340 not none of it's true and just know that just know that every fucking excuse that you've made for 1.00

00:16:28.480 your fucking life is bullshit because there's people out there lots of people who come from worse than you 1.00

00:16:35.640 who have fucking had bigger challenges than you who have had more struggles than you 1.00

00:16:42.920 who have faced far more adversity than you that get it done every motherfucking day 1.00

00:16:50.580 told my teacher dumb bitch i'm going to get millions watch this in the project living 1.00

00:16:55.360 spoke it till existence 1.00
