00:05:28.660 me too especially like never mind no say it nope nope so here's the deal guys we got to finish this

00:05:39.440 off strong yeah we do all right so let's keep at it buy one share one right the share one's very

00:05:46.340 important all right because we're getting the product out in other people's hands um we're stepping

00:05:51.680 on the throat to some of these other people we all like to win right winning is more fun than fun

00:05:56.040 is fun that's what we like to say around here yep that's a quote by my uh good friend mr ed my

00:06:00.600 let that you guys may have heard on the show so i just want to first of all say thank you so much 0.98

00:06:05.540 guys uh and then you know also ask that we finish off strong and show these motherfuckers what 1.00

00:06:10.640 we're all about that's right so that's right buy one share one a few more days that's it all right 0.93

00:06:16.500 so what's going on dude it's a beautiful day um it has been incredible seeing people get behind

00:06:24.660 this it's been crazy yeah it's been one of the most incredible things that i've seen

00:06:28.540 in my entire business life the amount of support that that everybody's been showing yeah and how

00:06:34.780 fucking cool the people have been that have come out to these events yeah like dude i just want to 0.89

00:06:41.800 tell you guys man like and this is real shit you guys know i don't leave here very often and i kind 0.97

00:06:47.580 of stay in my own little bubble and getting out to these events and hearing your stories um 0.92

00:06:53.320 it's one of the most inspiring things that i've ever i've ever been a part of you know it's one thing

00:07:00.760 to have someone message you those things or it's another thing to have someone look you in the eye

00:07:06.980 and and and with their family talking about the changes they've made and how they've gotten better

00:07:11.940 and how their family's gotten better and how you know their kids are out getting into you know

00:07:17.480 following around on 75 hard or whatever dude and um just hearing that and seeing that has really done

00:07:24.520 a lot for me i'm just being real with you guys to realize that like because like you know i'm in

00:07:30.740 here all the time man and sometimes i wonder if like what i'm saying even gets heard at all and

00:07:36.100 it's been a very very not even good but one of the coolest experiences of my life getting out there

00:07:43.820 and meeting you guys and uh it made me feel like you know we're doing some good so i just want to say

00:07:49.980 thank you guys for for sharing that with me because uh there's a lot of times where i'm like what the

00:07:56.280 fuck am i doing and uh it reminded me that that what we do here really matters a lot and uh i really 0.78

00:08:01.980 appreciate you guys showing out for these things beautiful man yeah absolutely awesome um but yeah 0.96

00:08:07.380 so we gotta stay on it bro it is monday which means one thing yeah i have three good ones for you i know

00:08:30.280 hello joe can you hear me yeah i got you hey what's going on brother how are you

00:08:41.740 not too bad man where you calling from

00:08:46.840 tampa tampa oh tampa huh we were just there what's what's up joey yeah i heard

00:08:55.900 oh just there because i i just heard that you guys are coming here this airs on monday you gotta play

00:09:01.700 along it was great meeting you joey

00:09:05.200 no that was awesome that was awesome i uh yeah you know i've gotten to a point now you know where

00:09:14.920 um i got the opportunity a few years ago to partner up with some guys

00:09:19.720 and started the visual office for a construction company um and we've grown to an eight-figure

00:09:26.460 company in in the past three years and that's crazy it's been a crazy experience yeah that's

00:09:32.180 awesome bro and and you know over the past year you know it's been a challenging year for us

00:09:38.880 economically but we've been able to sustain and really get gritty and and kind of blow past the

00:09:44.780 rest and and i'll be honest with you andy and i i attribute a lot of that to you you know being able

00:09:50.580 to to to help me hone myself as a as a leader and to be the best example for my guys for my family for

00:09:59.060 everybody and uh you know i i appreciate that that's probably the longest thank you you've had

00:10:04.320 on here but you know i i really can't i can't even express like how much this this means well brother

00:10:10.900 you know i mean look man uh i appreciate that but you know you're you're doing that that's not me man

00:10:18.100 i'm just trying to share with you guys the stuff that i've learned and picked up along the way

00:10:22.660 and um you know you guys got to go out and do it so i i greatly appreciate that but just remember 0.86

00:10:28.980 brother that's all you man you did that shit yeah no i i understand no i i and i get that what what 0.93

00:10:38.540 what specifically are you struggling with brother i just well i i don't want to take from my current 0.99

00:10:44.500 opportunity like i don't want to take like i invest a lot of time into this i mean i i you know i i do

00:10:49.840 invest a lot but i've got i've got an opportunity to do something with and and just kind of get my my

00:10:57.600 kids involved in something and i've got one that's really kind of spearheading it behind him and um

00:11:04.720 i want to be able to dedicate my time back and forth but at the same time i don't want my current

00:11:11.120 opportunity to suffer it i i know you've you know been able to start and you know build multiple

00:11:17.860 different businesses and and at the same time you know manage and grow your other ones um what's the

00:11:24.240 some some tips and some good ways that i can do this to not take from my current situation and be

00:11:30.440 able to build my opportunity to the fullest extent okay all right so first of all dude um you got to give

00:11:38.660 yourself a little more credit bro you're already doing it okay so you know i know as driven people

00:11:44.940 we don't like to we don't like to admit how well we're doing which is kind of weird because

00:11:49.860 most people would over exaggerate how well they're doing but when you're driven and you're successful

00:11:55.880 and you have that thing that you have and i have we tend to not give ourselves proper credit

00:12:04.720 because we don't want to lose the edge of our ambition and drive and when we do that it creates

00:12:13.060 a scenario where we are not as confident as we would be if we were just able to give ourselves the

00:12:21.180 proper amount of credit so when it comes to you know acknowledging our own skills and gifts and

00:12:30.180 results you always just want to tell yourself the truth you know you don't want to downplay it

00:12:34.700 you don't want to overplay it you want to be factual about what it is so that you can have the proper

00:12:40.760 amount of confidence because as you know building anything requires real confidence you have to be

00:12:47.200 a confident person and when we don't give ourselves the proper amount of credit that it hurts us so i i hear

00:12:54.580 that in what you're saying and i just want you to be aware of that but i know i struggle with it a lot

00:12:59.860 i struggle with being you know the confidence to to to really do more i mean i i just i was never in

00:13:06.940 a in an environment and i know this you know we go back to just like you know being a victim is cool

00:13:11.840 type shit but i mean it's i was never in an environment that was conducted to being successful 0.77

00:13:16.500 yeah well it was always most most it's like you do this and you get you know you get what you get out 0.96

00:13:22.580 of life and this is what it is and it's never been a thing so i've i've lost almost everybody around me

00:13:27.860 and it's lonely so it's like you don't really have anything if you don't have anything but an 0.99

00:13:31.820 internal dialogue that pushes you along do you want that shit back fuck no okay so then what the fuck 0.99

00:13:38.360 i don't think anybody really that that's right the way that we do really want to go back hold on bro 1.00

00:13:42.860 listen to me you're fucking putting value on shit that you lost that means nothing those people are 0.99

00:13:50.580 never on the fucking path you're going to be on they they won't understand you they're not going to 1.00

00:13:55.460 fucking get you and you just have to not worry about it bro and i'll be i actually think you're 0.99

00:14:00.980 wrong about the environment that you grew up in most people who are successful grew up in an 0.99

00:14:07.460 environment exactly like the one that you were describing they didn't grow up with a silver spoon 1.00

00:14:12.420 in their mouth they grew up with a bunch of motherfuckers telling them they can't do shit 0.99

00:14:16.200 they grew up with a whole bunch of people who didn't do shit telling them that and because of that 1.00

00:14:22.280 it's driven them and it's given them fire and it's let them have this feeling inside of fuck you 0.99

00:14:27.800 i'm going to prove you wrong and i actually think the environment that you grew up in you need to 0.99

00:14:33.680 switch your perspective on and say actually this is what produced me and because dude that's the truth

00:14:41.200 okay if someone grew up with the best dad and the and the white picket fence and the perfect family

00:14:48.040 they're so comfortable they never have the ambition that you have so you should be grateful about 0.97

00:14:53.740 where the fuck you come from bro that's the first thing the second thing is if you want to create 0.98

00:15:00.160 opportunity outside of the one that you have you have to approach it there's two ways to do it 1.00

00:15:08.320 i've done it in verticals okay so most of the companies that i own are vertically integrated and

00:15:16.160 customers or vendors of each other all right whatever it is that you do in construction

00:15:22.060 you can start thinking about what should i do to vertically integrate should i uh start a company

00:15:31.200 that supplies me with the concrete okay should i start a company that supplies me with the steel

00:15:38.120 those are things to think about and i know those are just abstract you know i don't know exactly what

00:15:43.880 you need to do but you know what i'm saying i know what you're saying right and then the other

00:15:48.460 thing is is if you do have an opportunity let's say that is outside of the realm of verticals you have

00:15:55.560 to understand that just because you're successful at this one realm you are not guaranteed success at

00:16:01.920 this other thing i see lots of people ruin their lives because they're experts at one thing they're

00:16:08.320 really fucking good and then they think well because i'm good at this one thing everything 0.91

00:16:14.780 i touch will work and i call it the midas touch these people think that they have the midas touch 0.99

00:16:21.120 but they don't and i have seen actually most of the people i see ruin their lives start to venture

00:16:28.820 outside of their their skill set into things that they perceive are going to be great opportunities

00:16:35.940 without thinking like hey um i'm starting at kindergarten level here and i really don't

00:16:41.680 know what the fuck i'm doing and i say all that to say this if this opportunity that you're talking 0.85

00:16:48.980 about for putting your kids in a position is outside the realm of what it is that you do 0.97

00:16:55.660 there are plenty of c-level operators out here that you could hire to run that operation and just

00:17:03.900 have them report to you okay so you could go out and hide you're used to doing everything yourself

00:17:09.940 i'm used to doing everything myself no one ever came to me and said hey you know uh you could just

00:17:16.760 hire a ceo and they'll run your company and and if they did i didn't believe that they could run it as

00:17:24.440 good as me but here's the thing they can because our skill set at ceo level is really just about

00:17:34.200 driving the brand managing the brand and making sure that you know things continue to move down

00:17:40.440 the right path and there's plenty of people with experience and other things that that will translate

00:17:45.260 to what you do with your advisement so you need to start thinking of yourself as more of a chairman

00:17:53.440 level person than the actual builder operator of the business and what i would do is if you want to

00:17:59.980 create something outside the realm instead of starting at zero like you're in kindergarten you

00:18:07.820 you go hire someone who knows the business and yeah you're going to have to pay them a lot of money

00:18:14.860 but the thing is what you're paying for is to catch up in that expertise when that person has 20 years

00:18:22.960 25 years 30 years of doing what it is you're trying to do and you got to pay them a million bucks a year 0.87

00:18:29.500 well that person's going to turn around and save you 30 fucking years of lessons and that's how you 0.96

00:18:34.420 have to look at it so that's gonna cost fucking right bro it's it's that's cheap that's cheap a 0.98

00:18:41.080 million bucks a year is cheap as fuck to catch up for the amount of time that those guys will 0.97

00:18:45.840 will catch you up yeah okay and the cool thing about the cool thing about this opportunity is 0.91

00:18:51.540 it's pretty much it's pretty well within my wheelhouse okay um and it's not really a competing

00:18:56.600 business um because that's the last thing i want to do is start something competing against myself

00:19:00.400 for sure but you know it's what it is is it's solving a problem that we really aren't chasing to

00:19:07.540 fix that it's a solution you know what i mean yeah and solutions solutions are always the best

00:19:13.140 always the best way i mean i preach to my guys every single day like be the solution

00:19:17.100 be the solution for the client that's right i mean it just it works it's that simple hey we're here

00:19:23.060 you know so yes sir so so you know i i just i i don't want to i don't want to upset um you know the

00:19:32.700 guys that have trusted me with building this brand and building the division like i have um you know

00:19:38.240 and just to to go with to go through that you know what i mean because i i put myself just like you

00:19:43.760 said in a like a chairman type position now um you know like as we've grown to different size

00:19:48.780 businesses i've had to pivot there's no book for that it tells you when you pivot you know so when

00:19:53.940 we were when we went from zero to 10 million i was this person in the business and then what we

00:19:58.160 jumped up to in the 20s i was this person and now we've jumped up higher than that now i'm a

00:20:02.320 different person that's right at the time i've had to wear different hats now i'm to the position

00:20:06.400 where i just i'm behind the scenes the whole time and i just i try to advise my people but the least

00:20:10.860 amount of i don't know i i'm just not here to do their jobs but i'm i'm here to just try to give

00:20:16.580 them the best advice i can correct and you know that way everybody has some ownership and everything

00:20:21.160 and you know they kind of take the take the bull by the horns they run with things you know and and

00:20:25.840 i i just i've got some kids that have a lot of the same mentality and mindset as me and uh you know

00:20:32.840 i want to i want to give them an opportunity to to have a piece of their own well you know yeah man

00:20:38.720 um yeah i guess i'm sort of confused on what you're asking for well what i'm i and what i'm

00:20:45.880 what i'm trying to figure out is you know like how how do you manage your time in between businesses

00:20:50.860 you know how do you manage your time and say okay well i can dedicate this one you know it doesn't

00:20:55.800 upset you just i mean it's just you develop power lists for each one of those businesses on tasks

00:21:00.380 that you do do you have one master power list for everything yeah i got one i've got one for 0.98

00:21:04.920 everything and i do this thing it's called whatever the fuck it takes yeah i know you know i'm saying 0.86

00:21:11.940 like it doesn't matter if it's midnight it doesn't matter if it's three in the morning it doesn't 0.99

00:21:17.800 matter if i got to get on a plane travel the country to meet thousands of people and put fucking 0.99

00:21:24.380 you know asses in seats and whatever i got to do i'm gonna do and uh you know that's the thing 0.98

00:21:30.300 that we signed up for so i don't necessarily look at it as i've got to spend x amount of time here 0.87

00:21:36.840 or x amount of time there x amount of time there i'm not in any of my businesses to for for second

00:21:43.920 place so i'm in to fucking win or i won't do it and for me it's yes i have one main power list 0.94

00:21:53.340 logistically and that's how i that's how i operate um but that power list will have items 0.84

00:21:59.460 that have to do with everything that i have going on so uh that's the one thing the second thing is

00:22:06.620 is i make sure like i said i have competent people in those positions to run those plays that and that

00:22:12.020 i can trust that understand what's what's going on um and the third thing is is that i make sure

00:22:18.060 that i am available to my employees and that i spend time with them and that we work on uh you

00:22:24.920 know relationships and culture through that contact so you know while you may be behind the scenes it's

00:22:30.660 very important for you to get out and shake the guy's hands tell them thank you um you know make

00:22:36.180 sure they understand that you care about them and all of those things because dude the reality is is

00:22:41.760 that most of these people that you deal with they don't have anybody in their life that gives a

00:22:46.980 fuck about them okay so you going out and helping them develop and by the way like you said you're 0.62

00:22:53.700 letting them do their job so that they can develop themselves that is a that is a great form of personal 0.99

00:23:00.520 development for them and when they develop those skills they will attribute those lessons to what you

00:23:05.780 are allowing them to do and not do so you know it sounds to me bro like you're a little bit scared to do

00:23:14.620 it because you think you're going to fuck it up but running two businesses is really no different than

00:23:18.660 running one when you have the experience when you don't have the experience like all these 19 year 0.99

00:23:25.980 olds out here who believe this shit of oh you got to have seven streams of income to be a millionaire 0.99

00:23:32.560 or whatever right like those people get killed because they don't have the experience to operate 0.99

00:23:37.740 so they're slivering off their energy and trying to compete with people who are in it full bore

00:23:45.540 and this is why i highly recommend getting someone to run that division of the business who's competent

00:23:52.440 as competent as can be with your advisement and i think that's how you're going to balance it out

00:23:58.100 the right way because every business that i'm operating or that i'm involved in has a competent

00:24:03.460 operator inside of it so or two or three depending on you know how big it is so that's the route i

00:24:11.280 would take bro when you started first form when you started first form you didn't just go and just

00:24:15.800 kind of say all right well i'm going to get down and bootstrap this and be the guy that's going to be

00:24:20.960 in here doing this that and the other you you found a competent operator and no okay we're going to

00:24:25.580 partner up on no no that's not what i did i started and did it all myself until i found someone that

00:24:32.220 could run the business and i then i developed that person over the course of eight years and then i

00:24:38.840 handed it over to them and the reason that i did it that way was because the person that i found to

00:24:44.040 operate the business was not a ceo from another company with experience it was my brother who is

00:24:51.780 one of the best sales people in the world but over the course of time developed the ability to become

00:24:57.220 a ceo what i'm telling you is that if you want to hand it off immediately and get to the point where

00:25:03.980 you're trying to get you need to go out and find a ceo with experience and plug them into that position

00:25:11.820 this is what we're doing this is how we're going to do it this is how i want you to do it and he's 0.95

00:25:17.020 going to say well that's not how the fuck it's done and you're going to say well how is it done and 0.96

00:25:22.260 he's going to say well in 20 years of me doing this it was done this and this and this and this way 0.99

00:25:27.380 and then you're going to say oh and then he's going to run the business and you're going to learn from

00:25:33.020 him so we're saying two different things does that make sense yeah so i'm not telling you to hand

00:25:42.420 the business off to uh you know whoever i'm telling you to find someone who's competent who can

00:25:50.560 save you that eight years all right now i'm very proud of my brother he's probably the best ceo that

00:25:56.700 i fucking know but we developed those skill sets together over the course of time and what i'm 0.90

00:26:02.840 saying is you can collapse that time which i didn't know at the time and i wouldn't have done anything 0.96

00:26:07.560 any different anyway but i didn't know at that time that i could just hire someone to do those things

00:26:15.320 and i thought of ceo as founder ceo and only i didn't think of ceo as a for hire position and

00:26:25.100 these guys exist and they're out there and by the way a lot of them are really fucking good 0.79

00:26:31.440 so i if i were you considering what i've heard from you you're already successful you're doing

00:26:40.820 good business you have the ability to invest money into this new opportunity if you value your time

00:26:49.520 i would hire an experienced ceo i would collaborate with that ceo and advise that ceo and let them take

00:26:57.460 the horns right away now if you want to do what i did you could take someone from your other company 0.99

00:27:02.980 you could put them in there and you could get your ass beat for the next eight years trying to figure 0.99

00:27:07.480 it the fuck out so what i'm actually telling you is don't do that because it costs you valuable time 0.99

00:27:14.200 now i'm like i said i'm very grateful that we did it that way because i end up with probably the best 0.94

00:27:19.080 ceo in the fucking world one of them but took eight years yes at a minimum bro so what i'm trying to do 0.93

00:27:26.960 is get you where you want to go without making uh you know an eight-year ordeal out of it yeah for sure 0.98

00:27:32.680 no it makes sense yeah um it does what's your hang up

00:27:38.720 um i mean i i say it i say it's capital but it's not even capital because it's like i figure this out 0.99

00:27:48.900 i figure everything out brother you know you're fucking making excuses bro you need to go fucking 1.00

00:27:54.660 do it just go do it you already did bro you've already done this massive thing you run a hundred 0.99

00:28:02.260 fucking plus guys do you know how rare that is you know how rare it is to have a company with a 0.98

00:28:07.380 hundred motherfucking employees that's a fucking huge deal bro if anybody can go out and start 0.99

00:28:13.620 another business and be successful it's somebody like you so there's no reason for you to hang up for 1.00

00:28:19.400 some reason you're hung up on this past version of yourself you're a fucking badass motherfucker bro 0.99

00:28:25.320 nobody can do what you've done you got to remember that bro and you've got this is what i was talking 1.00

00:28:30.500 about in the beginning of the call i know a fuck ton of business owners you know how many i know that 0.95

00:28:35.660 have a hundred employees not very many so you're doing fucking great bro in fact i think you're doing 0.91

00:28:42.500 exponentially better than what you think and i think this misunderstanding of how well you're doing 0.88

00:28:48.480 is costing you time to go do the other thing which is eventually something that you're going to win 0.96

00:28:53.960 at too like you're already a fucking winner bro you don't think like you were like you did in the 0.97

00:28:59.520 beginning where you're like oh i'm not sure if i can fucking do this you know bro look at all these 0.98

00:29:04.640 people trying to run businesses and get to a hundred fucking employees you listen you're ready to do 0.99

00:29:11.600 this all you got to do is go do it you're telling yourself bullshit stories about why you're not gonna 0.99

00:29:16.460 and i i don't mean to be rude but i'm just telling you the fucking truth yeah you know like if you 1.00

00:29:22.060 were my fucking homie i'd be like joey the fuck is wrong with you go do it yeah like what are you 0.99

00:29:28.580 talking about like what do you want you you want me to write you a permission slip to go do it like 1.00

00:29:32.780 what the fuck bro like you've got this down look man you're ready to do this i promise you i can hear 1.00

00:29:38.820 it nobody can fucking get to it dude you're so much better than what the fuck you think you are 1.00

00:29:46.000 it's almost like for me like almost laughable because i know what's out there like all these 1.00

00:29:51.440 motherfuckers on the internet they're all fucking lying they're all lying to run a real business with 0.99

00:29:56.500 100 employees that's fucking amazing bro it's it i i i understand yeah i understand what you're 1.00

00:30:06.960 saying yeah bro dude listen i got to get to other calls bro because it's like 36 minutes long the 0.98

00:30:12.300 show's an hour long sorry brother yeah it's not sorry it's fucking you need to go do it you know 0.99

00:30:18.480 what i'm saying yep all right i'm serious bro guys yeah it was great meeting you bro 0.98

00:30:26.860 hey real talk bro you gonna come out we're gonna be there tomorrow or friday yeah i'm i'm i i i need 0.87

00:30:37.880 to i need to yeah i need to shake your hand yeah come out bro come fucking hang out look dude you're 0.99

00:30:45.780 doing so much better than you fucking think you are bro you just gotta snap the fuck out of that 0.99

00:30:49.900 you're a stud bro nobody does 100 fucking employee companies fucking nobody i look at it like it's 1.00

00:30:59.280 nothing man and it's not enough yeah but that's because you're fucking driven my competition's 0.99

00:31:04.560 got 1200 and i'm just like man i gotta get there yeah but they they got to 100 and they said you know 0.99

00:31:09.560 what they said the reason they got 1200 because they got to 100 and they said i'm bad motherfucker i get 0.99

00:31:14.080 1200 you're getting to 100 saying fuck i don't know if i can do this which means you ain't gonna 0.99

00:31:19.800 do it if you don't change your perspective so so look man i'm telling you as someone who fucking 0.99

00:31:26.140 coaches thousands and thousands and thousands of business owners you're fucking doing it dude 0.98

00:31:31.660 for real man like you should be fucking proud of yourself and you should walk with your shoulders 1.00

00:31:36.640 back and your chin up high and say i'm a bad motherfucker i'm joey the bad motherfucker 1.00

00:31:42.040 that's what you should be doing i'm gonna get you a fucking t-shirt it says joey the bad 1.00

00:31:47.580 motherfucker yeah you put buffalo on there yeah fuck all right brother appreciate you guys man i really 0.99

00:31:56.860 do all right bro hey we'll see we'll see you on friday all right all right appreciate you guys all 1.00

00:32:03.040 all right brother bro so many people do that to themselves you know they're so driven they're so 0.93

00:32:10.020 hungry it's never enough and because it's never enough they think they're shit and they think like 0.99

00:32:16.020 what are you so far from that goal yes yeah like bro how many motherfuckers do you guys know that have 0.99

00:32:22.240 100 employees like if someone came to me off the street and say yeah i got a business i got 100 employees 0.99

00:32:27.380 i'd be like holy fuck that's pretty fucking big yeah pretty big but i mean dude that's you know 0.98

00:32:32.980 that's the that's the fucking paradox of being driven you never feel like it's enough successful 0.99

00:32:40.460 people people who win people who achieve people who the whole world sees as great always feel behind 0.97

00:32:48.420 in what they're doing because their ambition is so strong and they're so driven that all they can see

00:32:55.180 is what i'm trying to do not what i've done and that is actually a great thing because that causes

00:33:00.780 you to continue to go down the path further and further and further and further and while it might 0.98

00:33:06.780 not be fun while you're doing it you're going to eventually look back one day and say motherfucker i 0.98

00:33:12.280 did that and you're gonna be proud of it so we have to stop this thinking of well you know i don't know 0.99

00:33:18.420 especially when you have evidence in front of your face it says i'm fucking i'm good enough to do this 0.96

00:33:24.320 yeah there's proof here yeah that's put in here dude i want to ask you this too i think this uh 0.95

00:33:28.500 it's an important piece in this you know because his main his main thing was like you know how do i

00:33:33.360 balance this time between focusing on a new project while not letting this other thing suffer right 0.93

00:33:37.960 no that that's not his main thing his main thing is he's trying to find excuses for why the fuck he 0.94

00:33:42.940 hasn't can't do it that's real yeah that's not his main thing yeah his main thing is i don't come 0.89

00:33:48.240 from a good family and i've never had a this and you know what i'm not doing it because my

00:33:53.580 competitor's got 1200 and i've only got 100 and i'm not good enough that's his main thing 0.97

00:33:58.580 because the fucking solution to what he said is bullshit yeah it's real easy i love it yeah but 0.98

00:34:04.100 i do want to i do want to bring this up because it's something i've seen you do a lot bro and i 0.99

00:34:08.940 think it's an important piece just for anybody struggling with that but just being present and

00:34:13.000 intent you're having your intentions correct and present with whatever you're doing at the moment

00:34:17.660 yeah that's a very very that's a very yeah like when you actually are working on business one you

00:34:24.640 are fully invested in business one when you turn to the task of business two you are not now this goes

00:34:31.320 away and you're focused here but dude i'm telling you the best thing that you can do for him because 0.97

00:34:37.300 he's already got the cash flow to do it is to hire a motherfucker it's already done what he's trying to 0.98

00:34:42.680 do like how are you going so you're going to go to china bro all right what are you going to do are 0.99

00:34:49.340 you going to fucking uh try to navigate your way there with a compass because that's what they did 0.98

00:34:55.140 400 fucking years ago or are you going to hire someone who's gone to china 4 000 fucking times 0.99

00:35:01.780 be a travel guy there you go yes like that's what you're going to do yeah so and and by the way 0.98

00:35:08.380 this took me forever to figure the fuck out i didn't know it either but you know that's how 0.54

00:35:13.940 you save the time and i wouldn't have done it any different because now we have this amazing thing

00:35:18.760 but for where he's at and what he's trying to do that's the role that's the way to go yeah not

00:35:24.880 everybody has the opportunity to hire someone like that they don't have the cash flow right right he's

00:35:29.720 in a position to do that that's why wealthy people compound their wealth they take their money 0.98

00:35:34.300 they invested into things because dude your employees are not a fucking expense bro they 1.00

00:35:39.920 are an investment if you've hired them properly so you're going to pay this motherfucker a million 0.99

00:35:44.400 bucks but he's going to drive 50 million dollars to your fucking top line that's a pretty good deal 0.99

00:35:50.020 i'll take it yeah i'll take it i love it man uh let's get another question in man guys indy uh 0.98

00:35:55.860 here's another question for you um andy uh i'm a sales rep at a well-renowned company in the

00:36:05.200 construction building materials industry uh due to the current economic climate with rising costs

00:36:11.180 due to tariffs and the slow housing market the company has had a recent wave of layoffs uh that

00:36:17.940 just occurred this month these layoffs have affected all areas of the company not just the sales team

00:36:22.860 with the future of the economy unknown we can't really predict what the housing market will do

00:36:28.000 next year since i've been at the company my territory has seen steady growth and even in this downturn year

00:36:34.020 i've still grown the territory to be profitable i feel like i'm an asset to the company but right now

00:36:39.580 it's just hard to know what will happen in the future my question to you is this how would you go

00:36:45.160 about navigating this we don't know if there will be additional layoffs but what can i do day to day 0.97

00:36:51.220 to continue to show that i am an undeniable asset who produces everything you fucking can 0.99

00:36:58.220 everything you can you could sell the most shit you can be the best team player you clean the bathroom 1.00

00:37:04.800 the best you could take the motherfucking trash out you get every single thing that you could possibly do 0.99

00:37:10.200 you should be doing right now and it doesn't go just for this gentleman it goes for everyone because 0.98

00:37:15.660 there is cuts happening everywhere not because necessarily that sales are bad but because new

00:37:23.040 technology is emerging that replaces human capital as we've talked about on this show for years all

00:37:30.240 right now i've tried to get everybody to understand how bad this was going to be for everybody and

00:37:34.980 everybody thought i was crazy but now here we are and there's tons of layoffs happening across the 0.92

00:37:39.920 spectrum the motherfuckers that developed ai are getting laid off okay so we're in a predicament 0.99

00:37:46.580 and you as an employee all of you are in a fucking pickle and i'm going to tell you i don't give a i 1.00

00:37:57.140 don't care where you work i don't care you could work anywhere if you are an employee of a company right 0.99

00:38:02.920 you need to understand that your job either can be or will be able to be replaced in the near future

00:38:14.100 and that means that if you're going to continue to be employed you're actually going to have to perform

00:38:21.740 at a much higher level than you do now and that is something that i urge everybody to take serious 0.99

00:38:28.780 and if you don't take it serious you're going to come back and you're going to say fuck i wish i 0.99

00:38:33.200 listened to him this is the time where you better show your motherfucking skill set to everyone and not 1.00

00:38:41.080 only should you be showing your skill set you should be anticipating needs you should be taking initiative 0.98

00:38:48.160 you should be driving people forward because i'm going to tell you if you don't there's going to be

00:38:55.240 enough skilled people out here because they're getting laid off everywhere that even if your job

00:39:01.100 doesn't go away as a human asset you will be replaced by someone who is willing to do the things

00:39:07.800 that you are unwilling to do there is no place for coasting right now i'm being dead serious if you coast

00:39:16.620 and you're one of these people who hides in the corner and pretends to work and acts like you know 0.77

00:39:22.940 they're busy you're going to get fucking fired those days are over yeah they're over yeah they're 0.98

00:39:27.080 over okay and some people just haven't realized that yet yeah but it's going to become very apparent 0.99

00:39:33.940 and i give this guy very much respect for recognizing that hey fuck the axe is coming down bro and i better 0.99

00:39:41.260 figure out how to be an asset bro that's everything you can do you better sell the most shit you better 1.00

00:39:48.080 be the best employee you better drive the motherfucking culture you better wipe the 1.00

00:39:53.720 fucking piss off the toilet seat even if it ain't yours you better do everything and if you do 0.99

00:39:59.600 everything when that conversation comes of who we're going to cut you're not even going to be in the 1.00

00:40:04.420 conversation because they're going to say no fucking way yeah joe fucking is a killer we got to keep 0.98

00:40:08.840 yeah we we can't even do it without him right that's what being undeniable is about we cannot 0.99

00:40:14.100 do it without them you guys think being undeniable means being pretty good no being pretty good is

00:40:21.800 being pretty good being undeniable is we cannot fucking do it without them we cannot do it without 0.73

00:40:30.440 them if you could position yourself to be one of those people you will always have security and to be

00:40:38.020 quite honest that's going to become the new standard because everybody is going to be able to be replaced

00:40:43.980 everybody and people like when they say oh well not blue collar no blue collar is going to get

00:40:49.100 replaced eventually too because when they start doing ai and robotics it's going to be what it is 0.97

00:40:54.720 they already got fucking machines that fucking lay tile floors they already got machines that put roofs 0.97

00:40:59.460 on how long until they have a machine that pulls the wire through a house or um i don't know 1.00

00:41:05.320 frames a house or you know i don't know like 3d prints a house which they already do 0.87

00:41:11.240 okay so if you're sitting there thinking oh i'm fucking safe pro you have no fucking idea what's 0.85

00:41:18.200 going on no and yeah i want to bring this up because i mean i know we as an entrepreneur base 0.95

00:41:22.880 show but we have a lot of entrepreneurs man right and i think you know you've mentioned in the past

00:41:27.160 there's there's three real really important skills to have as an entrepreneur you can either sell

00:41:32.220 uh learn how to lead people uh that third one was was being able to take initiative on problems

00:41:37.440 can we because i think that's going to be a really fun absolutely skill set absolutely okay

00:41:42.160 initiative there is multiple lanes of initiative that have to be had for you to become undeniable one

00:41:47.760 is coming up with ideas trying to look out for the company if you're you know on a content team you

00:41:55.780 know making fucking amazing content without having to be told these kind of things okay um then there's 0.62

00:42:02.980 initiative of you see a problem and you fix the problem before you actually take it to your 0.93

00:42:10.440 leadership one of the most valuable types of employees is the person who says hey let me talk

00:42:17.100 to you about something we got a problem here this is blah blah blah but don't worry about it because

00:42:21.980 i already solved it okay super valuable everybody brings problems huh everybody can bring a problem yeah

00:42:27.720 like if dude if you don't saw there's three kinds of people there's the kind of person that brings

00:42:32.500 the problem that person sucks okay there's the kind of person that brings the problem but doesn't 0.87

00:42:38.220 do the solution even though they knew know the solution that person's a little bit better they 0.99

00:42:42.440 still suck then there's the third guy the third guy fucking identifies the problem fixes the problem 0.99

00:42:47.380 then tells you about it that's the guy yeah okay people don't understand that a lot of success comes 0.99

00:42:55.180 down to taking initiative inside of a company then there's the person who can see a project through 0.99

00:43:03.960 the entire way from start to finish by taking the initiative to do so that person is fucking 0.98

00:43:10.560 undeniable you cannot operate without those people so like being valuable inside of a company is very 1.00

00:43:17.120 easy but we have a culture of fucking lazy fucks that have been put into you know society for the 1.00

00:43:24.980 last 20 years and those people are teed up to get their fucking nuts clipped yeah okay so yeah i mean 1.00

00:43:32.660 that's it you know if you're coming man it's coming bro it's coming for everybody there's there's no 0.99

00:43:40.040 stopping it now okay like when we talked about people need to stand up and be vocal and stand 0.98

00:43:44.940 against this shit you guys nobody did it so now and by the way it happened exactly like i said it was 0.90

00:43:51.240 going to happen i said they would implement it by leveraging people's greed and that's what they've 1.00

00:43:55.740 done now they have all the tech company it doesn't matter here's the fucking point it's coming and it's 0.98

00:44:03.480 here and if you don't become undeniable there's good look at what uh what's the fucking new um sora 0.96

00:44:11.100 yeah okay look at sora look do you do you guys you're being replaced do you not understand that 0.95

00:44:21.620 and so many people are sticking their head in the sand being like huh not me no you my boss loves me

00:44:28.500 by the way especially yeah there's no there's no like or love now okay like you have to survive

00:44:36.080 all right and if a company it's like steroids and baseball bro once someone starts hitting 70

00:44:42.000 motherfucking home runs everybody's starting to take steroids because dude that guy's getting a 0.95

00:44:47.240 hundred million motherfucking dollar contract five hundred million dollar contract and the rest of 0.99

00:44:53.780 the guys ain't getting it so what do you think they're gonna do okay it's the same thing with 0.96

00:44:58.340 companies when the first company which by the way is already happening starts to implement all these

00:45:04.340 technologies to reduce their human capital then everybody has to do it because if they don't 0.54

00:45:09.900 that guy that company has so much margin in their fucking operation that they can outspend you on 0.97

00:45:15.560 their customer acquisition and their branding and everything else and fucking put you out of 0.99

00:45:19.960 business so it's no longer a matter of ethics the ethics went out the window when everybody 0.97

00:45:24.780 fucking didn't stand up now it's a matter of actually adjusting and surviving and because of that 0.77

00:45:31.600 those things are going to happen at every company it's just reality it's no different than when 0.98

00:45:36.020 the internet came around it's no different than when social media came around only this time it's

00:45:41.640 super dangerous for everybody that's employed so there's going to be people that make it and there's 0.97

00:45:47.740 going to be a lot of people that are going to be like fuck i wish i had tried a little harder 0.86

00:45:50.900 when i had that great opportunity to actually have a job i actually think a lot of it's pretty good 0.96

00:45:55.800 uh if i'm being honest because for so long there's been so many people in american culture 0.99

00:46:03.040 that have just showed up to their job and clocked the fuck in and don't do shit that you know they 0.90

00:46:09.820 feel owed like i'm owed to have this yeah and it's going to fix that there's now it's going to go back 0.99

00:46:15.320 to if you even have a job you're fucking very fortunate to have it so you should operate that 0.83

00:46:20.580 fucking way right now and if you operate that way right now you won't get cut that's how it's going to 0.99

00:46:25.080 work i love it dude all right let's uh let's get another uh another call here we got landon give 0.99

00:46:31.020 landon the call oh hello landon what's going on bro what up big dog hey what's going on with you

00:46:43.940 brother how you doing not too bad another day another dollar landon what's up bro it's andy

00:46:51.560 what's going on man how are you brother not too shabby where uh where are you calling in from

00:46:58.040 today nebraska oh yeah what part uh lincoln oh cool i like lincoln lincoln's a i spent quite a bit 0.78

00:47:06.760 of time up there i like it a lot oh no shit yep yep i sure did so what can we help you with today 0.62

00:47:14.340 tell me a little bit about what you got going on so a little backstory uh uncle owns a drywall 0.89

00:47:22.240 business and uh what so it's probably been i don't know seven years ago or so uh i was getting out of

00:47:30.620 high school and i was already working for him but i was getting out of high school and he wanted to

00:47:35.440 take on doing something else so we started doing insulation that is the step right before drywall you

00:47:41.040 know so it makes sense so we took that on and uh so now we do drywall and insulation and i've been

00:47:47.960 kind of the main guy in charge of uh the insulation crew and just i mean learning everything about it

00:47:55.260 and we just kind of we provide that service now to all of his builders that he had already had 0.84

00:48:00.680 and uh yeah so i mean i've been working my dick into the dirt and uh bro just trying to get out 0.98

00:48:10.520 you and me both 0.97

00:48:11.720 so sorry to cut you off bro i just we're laughing because like we're all fucking exhausted because 0.95

00:48:20.480 we none of us slept in like three days you're good yeah but uh yeah i mean i'm just trying to

00:48:28.140 get to the point where like i'm not so so involved like i'm i'm the do-it-all guy you know i'm like

00:48:33.800 i'm on the job i get like everything facilitated i'm like literally hands-on 100 of the way and i'm

00:48:42.000 just trying to get to the point where i can get guys trained up enough to like be able to trust them

00:48:47.220 to handle the business you know and kind of step away from it a little bit and be able to handle more

00:48:53.520 of like the actual business side of things and go out and like get more work and you know shit like 0.99

00:48:58.880 that so you're trying to get your dick out the dirt yeah look yeah well he's trying a little bit i mean 0.98

00:49:03.300 i i don't want to get away from work that's the thing like i'm not scared to work but like well i just 1.00

00:49:08.740 don't i'm tired of working fucking balls into the wall like and then dealing with a bunch of 1.00

00:49:15.060 idiots honestly i mean fuck it's just i hope they don't listen it's not i hope those idiots don't 1.00

00:49:20.680 listen to the show bro what's that i said i hope the idiots don't listen to the show yeah i know i 1.00

00:49:27.020 mean i that's the thing i try to get them to listen to it too and like a lot of them don't really get on 0.99

00:49:32.260 it you know i wish they would well that's why you're you and they're them i thought i guess yeah

00:49:38.580 all right let me help you let me help you here what you're talking about is something that

00:49:43.360 all entrepreneurs go through okay you're moving from working in the business to working on the

00:49:51.220 business all right that's what you're describing and all right what how many guys do you have on

00:49:57.260 your crew right now it's uh like a five-man crew we just lost one like a month ago so yeah we're down

00:50:05.220 to five okay and you want them to get to a point where they're taking enough initiative to manage the

00:50:12.960 projects and complete them at standard right so you're not having to actually show up and do the

00:50:18.780 work correct exactly okay so the reason you're not going to like this but the reason that they're

00:50:28.380 not developing into the people that you want them to develop into is because you said the thing right 0.88

00:50:35.200 at the beginning you said i'm the do-it-all guy well if you're doing all the shit bro how do you 0.91

00:50:40.860 expect them to learn okay and by the way nobody likes people nobody gets engaged in a job or a 0.84

00:50:50.740 project or any of these things that we deal with if they aren't valued and involved at their craft

00:51:00.760 and while it may sound silly to say well you know putting in insulation is kind of like you know that's

00:51:07.580 not really a craft they want to contribute bro people want to be part of a team and they want

00:51:12.420 to be trusted and they want to be yeah trusted to go out and execute so that they can have some value

00:51:20.600 to take home bro they want to be proud of their work they want to walk in the door and say i'm

00:51:27.320 important to this job or this company and by you being the do-it-all guy you're sort of standing in

00:51:34.920 the way of that and so you have to adjust your mindset because i know why you do this bro we've 0.99

00:51:40.500 all been through this shit you're afraid they're gonna fuck up so bad that it's gonna fuck everything 0.99

00:51:44.500 up and guess what they're gonna do they're gonna they're gonna do it okay they're gonna fuck up 0.99

00:51:51.080 every single fucking thing that you could possibly think of but you have to change your framework of 0.99

00:51:57.960 how you think of those fuck ups those little fuck ups that they make let's be honest there's very few 0.99

00:52:04.560 that people can make that would be fatal and cannot be fixed so you want to get to a place where you're 0.98

00:52:12.100 trusting them with that level of responsibility and when they do make these mistakes instead of saying

00:52:19.900 oh man see that's why i should be doing it you got to start saying all right steve come here man 0.88

00:52:26.500 you know you fucked that up right and he's gonna say well i why and you're gonna say okay well you 0.97

00:52:34.680 don't you don't think that's fucked up and he's gonna say no i think i think it is a little bit 0.98

00:52:39.020 explain to me why you think it is all right and he's gonna say well you know i did this and this and 0.95

00:52:44.420 this and you're gonna say and also you didn't do this and this and this and then as long as they

00:52:50.400 don't make the same mistake again you have to look at it as an investment in their education and

00:52:57.400 skill set that will eventually allow you to work on the business the way that you're describing 0.96

00:53:02.720 and by the way bro we all go through this dude i went through this same shit because 0.81

00:53:08.120 i was so desperate for my company to make it that i could i felt like i couldn't afford

00:53:16.460 to have any mistakes and that's just not true in fact sometimes when people make mistakes

00:53:24.460 it actually provides the best opportunity to wow your customers because you can say hey i know we

00:53:33.260 fucked that up but guess what we're gonna make it right and we're gonna do it for free and then 0.79

00:53:37.960 also you do something extra so that gives you a measuring stick in the customer's eyes of how great

00:53:45.860 you actually are when those mistakes happen so this is really just a perspective switch

00:53:53.400 that you've got to make in your brain all right and you what i want you to do is realize these guys 0.98

00:54:00.320 while you may see them because they're very frustrating right you may be like what the fuck guys 0.98

00:54:05.560 that's our emotions dude and we got to take our emotions out of those situations and evolve 0.99

00:54:12.180 ourselves as leaders and say okay and here's this will help you with that do you have any kids

00:54:19.860 no not yet okay i don't either but what i do is i look at these dudes when they're making mistakes

00:54:27.160 like little kids i see them as little kids like they don't really know how to put the square hole in

00:54:32.800 the in the square uh the square block in the square hole yet i got to show them how to do these things

00:54:37.600 and we what's easy for us we take for granted we we we have this tendency to think that because it's

00:54:47.280 in our brain it's also in their brain and that's a that's a very bad mistake and then what happens is

00:54:53.200 because it's so easy for us we get fucking pissed off because they can't do it and so we have to 0.90

00:55:00.380 really take the emotions out remember what we're dealing with here and remember these are little kids 0.93

00:55:06.360 kids that have to have their confidence built they have to be coached just like a little kid

00:55:11.460 has to be shown how to hit a baseball off the tee and when you think about it like that you actually

00:55:16.420 gain a lot more patience and become a much better leader because now they're saying well you know

00:55:24.520 he's not mad at me dude he wants me to win he's showing me this and this and you know what i got to

00:55:30.040 get better so when you start to like operate in this other way it shows them that you believe in

00:55:37.560 them which gives them the confidence to get better and then you end up with an entirely different

00:55:42.320 culture and if you did this for the next year you would call back on the show and you would say 0.96

00:55:47.420 my fucking team is the best team ever but we got to get out of our own way for that to happen man 0.95

00:55:55.100 and we got to understand you know like i used to do this thing where i when we weren't performing 1.00

00:56:02.280 i automatically went to everybody's lazy that's where my default judgment went these motherfuckers 1.00

00:56:10.060 don't care they're fucking lazy and to be honest i still struggle with this okay but i have to walk 0.99

00:56:16.780 myself backwards and remember that's not really what it is most of the time and if someone is lazy 0.99

00:56:22.840 it's because they have seen you come in 4 000 times and fix the problem so this is just a

00:56:30.840 perspective switch on your part to one realize that if you want to scale your business you are going to

00:56:39.040 have to start allowing them to have responsibility two you're going to have to coach them like they are

00:56:45.520 brand new employees and build them up not beat them down three remember that these guys do

00:56:52.760 not have what you have in their brain they just don't have it all right so it's your job as the

00:56:59.300 coach to make sure that they have it and four remember that it's not always that they're lazy

00:57:05.620 most of these guys want to contribute they want to feel proud they want to go home to their wives and

00:57:12.140 their girlfriends and say dude the guys at work love me man i'm working hard i'm doing good

00:57:17.060 everything's going good because dude that's what people want ultimately bro they they want

00:57:23.480 the feeling of contribution and respect from their company and when you can give them that by developing

00:57:30.760 that you create this entire different culture that allows you to do exactly what you want to do 0.63

00:57:37.280 and you won't have to worry about a motherfucking thing from them because they're going to be so grateful 0.86

00:57:42.220 for your leadership and your mentorship and the way that you allow them to own the project 0.99

00:57:48.340 that bro they're they're gonna they're gonna go to fucking war for you so it's a totally you know 0.97

00:57:54.640 180 degree from where you are but this isn't them dude it's you and you just got to remember that 0.99

00:58:01.340 you know what i'm saying does that make sense yeah 100 yeah bro i struggle with this shit too dude this is 0.93

00:58:07.660 like this is a hard thing that's why leadership is such a is such a difficult thing because when 0.97

00:58:15.600 you're competitive and you want to win you know you see that like leadership is i'm just gonna pick up

00:58:20.380 all the fucking weight and carry it and sometimes yes sometimes in crucial situations you do have to do 0.97

00:58:28.040 that but in in situations where you know like okay if this guy messes this little thing up i can fix it 0.99

00:58:36.640 i can create an amazing experience for the customer and when he gets it right you gotta you gotta you 0.90

00:58:42.660 gotta be like bro fuck yeah man that's how we do shit around here and you gotta build them up to 0.96

00:58:47.660 that standard so how old are you 46 do you say 26 26 or 46 26 26 bro leadership what you're talking 0.99

00:59:00.780 about is a lifetime skill set that we we never master it people will say you master it but dude

00:59:09.000 you don't you continue to improve throughout your entire life and and i'll be real man like

00:59:15.760 where you're at at 26 is much further ahead than where i was at 26 with this so um you know just keep

00:59:24.760 this in mind dude it's about developing as a leader you know building the right culture and uh allowing

00:59:31.040 you because dude you know you're not going to be able to scale the business unless you do these

00:59:35.140 things you're going to always be on the job you're going to always be fixing the little things and

00:59:39.140 you know i can hear the frustration in your voice and i can also relate to it because it's annoying as 0.98

00:59:45.340 fuck when you're paying people to do a job and they won't fucking do it but usually it's because 0.96

00:59:50.980 we're not allowing them to do it that's the truth i got you yeah yeah you got any you got any thoughts 1.00

00:59:59.420 about that yeah i mean it's just like i mean i try to give them the basic like i start them from the

01:00:06.360 bottom and work them up you know what i'm saying like i started with this easy task and i slowly

01:00:11.560 progress into like giving them a little bit more difficult things and then like if they can't handle

01:00:16.600 the simple task you know i just struggle to give them like a higher up task because i just feel

01:00:22.260 like there's no way they're going to figure this out if they can't get that if that makes any sense 0.97

01:00:26.660 right yeah for sure bro but also remember not everybody's going to make the fucking team 0.98

01:00:30.440 not not not everybody gets to play fucking football for the university of alabama 0.99

01:00:34.600 you know like if you can't fucking if you can't fucking run some sprints and lift some weights do the 0.99

01:00:39.500 bare minimum you fucking ain't going to be here you certainly aren't going to play in the game 0.99

01:00:43.240 so you know like if you got somebody you say hey uh i need this and this is very simple shit and they 0.98

01:00:49.760 refuse to do it uh you probably got the wrong guy you know so there's a level of competency that has 0.70

01:00:56.120 there's a minimum level of competency that has to be had the other thing dude that i think would benefit

01:01:02.380 you greatly with what you're talking about here is making sure that these guys these five guys that

01:01:09.020 you have understand how it's going to benefit them if they actually put their thoughts in their

01:01:17.940 mind and their initiative and their care and their intent behind the work okay what does it mean like

01:01:24.500 if you're my boss and i work for you why is it important that i do things right what does that

01:01:32.600 benefit me because i'm going to get paid either way and then you have to convince this becomes now you

01:01:38.940 become a coach to them right you have to make them understand like hey look dude is this all you ever

01:01:45.140 want to make and if they say yeah then you gotta get rid of them they won't make it um you want guys

01:01:50.340 with some drive some guys that have bigger dreams and uh i'll be honest with you dude um you want these

01:01:58.120 are going to be young people that you're going to find because once people get into their 30s and 40s

01:02:02.940 they've already accepted the lifestyle that they're going to have most of the time it's very rare for

01:02:09.280 someone in their mid 30s or 40s to break out of the identity that they've created for themselves in

01:02:18.260 terms of what their life is by that time they've lost their ambition and they've reconciled that this 0.96

01:02:25.320 is my life and i'm happy with it and they start telling themselves all this shit about how this is 0.85

01:02:30.860 always what i wanted and this is what you know this is what i got blessed with and all this other 0.98

01:02:35.660 bullshit okay here's the truth you didn't work hard you didn't do the right things you didn't make the 0.88

01:02:41.560 right decisions and now you're convinced that this is all you're going to ever get and that is very 0.99

01:02:46.900 common with people in their 30s and 40s and it's very hard to break them out of it when you find someone 0.78

01:02:53.560 who's young they're fucking they understand that they have their whole lives in front of them 0.97

01:02:59.520 so they want to make the most out of it so your job is to paint that opportunity for them 0.99

01:03:04.900 coach them up and the way i usually think about coaching people is as long as they you know because 0.99

01:03:13.500 people are going to come and go bro you know you're going to teach some of these guys how to fucking 0.99

01:03:17.280 swim and they're going to swim the fuck away from you and that's going to piss you the fuck off 0.99

01:03:21.860 because you've invested all this time in them so how i think about it is all right 0.97

01:03:28.240 i'm going to pour all this into someone and i want them to look back later in life and say that's

01:03:35.200 where i learned how to be successful that's where i learned how to win that i'm very grateful for that

01:03:41.560 opportunity because what they're going to say about you in the community especially a small one like

01:03:46.820 lincoln is going to be very important to your reputation so care about them even if they go somewhere

01:03:53.380 else want them to win and think of it like this as even if i teach them everything i know and they

01:03:59.740 leave i want them to say hey man i was very grateful that i worked for that man because he taught me this

01:04:05.760 and this and this and bro that's a noble thing that's a good thing it's something that you'll be proud of

01:04:09.820 later in life 0.95

01:04:11.080 fuck yeah yeah all right you don't sound too enthusiastic today bro you need some of this 0.98

01:04:19.820 you need some of this form energy analyzing hey analyzing i'm trying to see how i can how i'm 0.98

01:04:25.840 going to apply it you know you know exactly you know what you need to do you need to go to 7-eleven 0.99

01:04:30.580 for dollar days that's right i got no fucking 7-elevens in nebraska man oh seven really shit 0.98

01:04:37.640 dude i don't know how there are no 7-elevens and are they speedways yeah speedways out there 1.00

01:04:43.560 anyway what the fucking case you do yeah well go wherever the fuck you got to bro get yourself 0.99

01:04:49.160 form energy that's right make you feel better 0.99

01:04:50.860 hey lander dude we appreciate you calling in man oh yeah i appreciate you guys everything you guys do

01:04:58.220 appreciate you bro uh think about what we talked about man that's you know this is this is something

01:05:03.580 that's normal for anybody in your position to struggle with so uh the fact that you're aware

01:05:08.800 that it's a problem is a great indication that you're going to solve it very quick so for sure

01:05:14.960 hopefully next year this time i'm getting it figured out it's not sooner that's right bro that's right

01:05:20.860 you will i have no doubts all right brother appreciate you all right appreciate you guys take it easy

01:05:27.260 see you brother yeah do that that's i want to ask you this with it being such a small team just on

01:05:33.660 the leadership aspect real quick would you also recommend maybe like just taking one of those guys

01:05:39.640 maybe you see somebody in that group that has a little bit more potential to try to start building

01:05:43.920 them up hoping everybody else starts following is that a good would that be a fair it is but there's

01:05:49.540 things that you have to be aware of okay first of all they have to be the the way all right so if you're

01:05:58.460 going to do that that's a that's a good thing to do but if you pick the wrong person out of those five

01:06:08.220 because you like them or because they're they're uh you know they're the one you get along with the best or 0.98

01:06:14.440 they're your drinking buddy a funny joke you're going to lose the rest of the motherfuckers okay so 0.95

01:06:18.960 if you do pull someone in tight it has to be the person that all the other guys understand got the 0.98

01:06:26.320 opportunity the fair way that's the truth yeah so you will undermine your entire culture by pulling

01:06:32.660 someone in that they perceive doesn't deserve it um and sometimes when that person is the best person

01:06:39.340 they're going to perceive it that way but that's okay because what it really does is it shows them

01:06:45.980 how they have to be in order to get pulled into the inner circle and then what happens is like you said

01:06:52.460 they start adopting that behavior yeah by the way that mentality goes for a macro level too right like

01:06:58.000 if you own um multiple locations of a company right or a retail company or a service company or a restaurant 0.91

01:07:05.460 and you're trying to manage let's say five six you know 20 locations and shit ain't going right 0.77

01:07:11.780 you're gonna go find the one that is going right and you're gonna point all the credibility to that 0.98

01:07:18.120 one and say guys you know these guys are fucking doing it this is my homie this is this and this and 0.97

01:07:22.860 this but the minute that they stop doing it because here's what happens sometimes too sometimes you 1.00

01:07:28.980 praise those guys and they start thinking they're the shit and they don't do the things that made them 1.00

01:07:32.940 the shit anymore because they believe that they are the shit no matter what they do so you got to be 1.00

01:07:37.580 very conscientious about how much praise you put on people but yes generally that's a way to do it 1.00

01:07:43.860 there's just things you got to be aware of before you do i love it dude yeah i love it man well guys

01:07:49.520 andy that was three yep all right guys don't forget we got a couple more days a dollar days buy one share

01:07:57.940 one you guys are doing a fucking amazing job and i appreciate everything that you've done 0.99

01:08:02.220 but let's finish strong and uh show these motherfuckers who we are 1.00

01:08:05.740 went from sleeping on the floor now my jewelry box froze fuck a pole fuck a stole counted millions in 1.00

01:08:13.860 the code bad bitch booted swole got her on bankroll can't fold doesn't know headshot case closed 1.00

01:08:21.060 you 0.99
