REAL AF with Andy Frisella - 97. Programmed To Win

00:00:00.000 told my teacher dumb bitch i'm gonna get millions watch this in the project living 1.00

00:00:04.680 spoke it till existence mo changed to 50 got mo cost than did i only weigh 180 but my watch 0.99

00:00:11.720 cost 250 what's up guys it's andy priscilla and this is the show for the realist say goodbye to 0.98

00:00:16.960 the lies the fakeness and delusions of modern society and welcome to motherfucking reality

00:00:21.880 guys today i've got a real short episode for you and before i get into it um i want to remind you 0.94

00:00:28.240 that our show is organically grown we grow this thing uh the good old-fashioned word of mouth

00:00:33.900 referral way if you guys like the show if you got something out of it if it makes you think if it

00:00:38.980 gives you a new perspective which is what i'm trying to do a lot of times okay um make sure you share it

00:00:46.000 you know let people know tell people when it comes up a conversation what the good info you're putting

00:00:50.520 into your brain is give me a shout um we don't run ads for the show i don't try to fulfill you know

00:00:57.060 the first 20 minutes of the show with paid advertising uh i do this because i want to help

00:01:02.480 i do this because i want you guys to win and i do this because i want you guys to be able to see

00:01:06.600 uh the way things really are and that's why it's called real af um so do me a solid do the guys here

00:01:13.800 a solid if you get something out of the show and it helps you help us grow it man um we really

00:01:18.980 appreciate that now with that being said i i do have a short message um there's a couple things that

00:01:26.020 i want to address with you guys that i see happening over and over and over again with um

00:01:32.280 the young bucks okay and the young bucks and young bucks is not you know 20 years old it's

00:01:37.660 it's people who are new to personal development you know not everybody finds the drive or the will

00:01:44.020 or the desire to be better at the same point in life and that's okay uh but it's never too late

00:01:49.680 to put good habits into play so that you find yourself in a position where your life is getting

00:01:55.260 better and better and better and better um and i want to talk about the two things that i see

00:02:01.860 winners consistently do uh that people who are having trouble and not winning consistently don't do

00:02:08.780 uh and they're really not related they're two points that i just happened to notice today

00:02:13.620 and that's how i do this show guys i sit down i talk to you about what's on my heart what's on my mind

00:02:18.380 and so these two things um while not related they are related because there's a certain number of

00:02:25.740 qualities or skills that successful people put into practice and as i see them i would like to call

00:02:32.500 them out so the first thing that i notice a lot of you guys do that is hurting you okay um is this

00:02:42.020 you're not understanding that the adversity the struggle the the hard times the difficult things

00:02:50.000 the frustration those are the things that create our skill sets those are the lessons that we learn

00:02:57.180 that give us the skills to then put the skills into play and produce a better life and if you think

00:03:03.520 about it it makes sense why we avoid the adversity right like why we run from it our whole lives

00:03:09.980 are all you know taught around convenience quick easy fast fix every piece of marketing that we see

00:03:17.560 out there is about results now and the truth of the matter is is life just doesn't work that way guys

00:03:23.100 it's not a realistic way of thinking there's not one thing that's great in your life that you got

00:03:29.280 without having to push through something all right name me one thing like one thing that you're super

00:03:35.220 proud of that you're super enthusiastic about that you are super prideful about that you didn't have

00:03:41.120 to fucking earn all right and then off of that all different kinds of qualities come into play and if 0.81

00:03:46.880 you've done 75 hard you're familiar with 75 hard you've read my book 75 hard you know i talk about 0.98

00:03:53.680 earning the things like grit uh fortitude self-esteem confidence the ability to endure you have to earn

00:04:02.480 these things okay we live in a world right now like we've talked about on the past shows recently

00:04:08.220 that celebrates victimhood it's it's a competition now about who has the biggest challenges not who's

00:04:15.260 overcome the biggest challenges and i'm going to tell you right now the world is going to reward people

00:04:21.000 who overcome the challenges you might get some claps you might get some oh man you know that's such a 0.96

00:04:27.360 that's that's such a you know that's so hard i you know you might get some of that shit but it's not 0.99

00:04:33.820 going to change your life okay it's instant gratification shit you are putting out information 0.98

00:04:39.580 to then get instant gratification attention which doesn't really serve you long term so guys 0.96

00:04:45.520 understand that doing the opposite of what most people do is what's going to lead to the to most

00:04:54.000 success in your life in general terms so when you see everybody else working to make their life

00:05:00.080 easier more convenient um you know less frustrating basically looking to cut all the hard things out of 0.98

00:05:08.380 their life look at the rest of their life what is it it's generally a shit show okay so that should be 0.56

00:05:15.740 an indication to you that maybe you need to look at life a little bit different and one of the things 0.94

00:05:20.000 that i see people do is they don't understand that you should actually be seeking out the proper

00:05:28.260 obstacles that are going to teach you the lesson and embrace them so that you can be better because

00:05:34.460 dude we could talk about and whine about and cry about everything in our lives but there's only one

00:05:40.760 thing that's going to change it and that's actually taking action towards the place that you want to go

00:05:45.980 and i don't care who says different this is a universal truth and it doesn't matter who's

00:05:51.420 president doesn't matter who's fucking won the super bowl it doesn't give it doesn't matter this 0.96

00:05:56.460 is always going to be true what you put in will produce the output okay so when you see a situation 0.92

00:06:03.700 that's difficult and you see a situation that you know other people don't want to do you should maybe

00:06:09.820 be the person who steps up to that and says dude i'm willing to do that because i learned this

00:06:14.340 i'm willing to take on that because i'm willing to get this skill um i'm going to endure this

00:06:19.540 adversity because i know it's going to make me stronger all right so look at these as an

00:06:23.820 opportunity for you to grow as opposed to something that you should run away from because it's going to

00:06:29.320 be difficult this is something that champions and successful people people who are great at what

00:06:35.180 they do and live great lives that bring other people up do automatically okay so that's the first

00:06:42.580 thing embrace your adversity and look for opportunities to get better and grow now the

00:06:47.840 second thing i think is going to resonate with a lot of you guys uh dude a lot of you guys for for

00:06:55.260 lack of better terms uh you got no swag okay um and what i mean by that is this it's not that you

00:07:02.180 don't it's that you're too afraid to show it all right you let people humble you to death what does

00:07:07.640 that mean you guys all know what that means think about the time that you said you know to your best

00:07:13.500 friend or your group of friends or your girlfriend or your boyfriend and you said you know what your

00:07:18.060 real dream was you know you got all this courage and you got vulnerable and you decided you were going

00:07:22.820 to tell the truth about what it is you wanted to achieve and then what happened you got laughed at

00:07:27.900 and he's oh andy dude come on man like what are you really going to do um you know or or when you

00:07:37.640 like a lot of you guys you know in your fitness journey you know you see you start to make progress

00:07:42.380 and you have people kind of hate on it passively right oh you're getting all serious about that 0.99

00:07:46.980 health health junk now well yeah no shit motherfucker because it's important or you start to have a little 1.00

00:07:53.020 success in your business and people start telling you oh andy thinks he's hot shit now blah blah blah 1.00

00:07:58.840 okay these are what i'm talking about it's crabs in a bucket i got a whole episode 59 a real af it's 0.93

00:08:05.540 called crabs in a bucket all right and you guys allow a lot of the people that you connect with

00:08:12.160 and you allow in your life to pull you down because you feel obligated to hearing their opinion

00:08:19.060 or listening to them because of the context of the relationship maybe it's your brother maybe it's your

00:08:24.900 friend from high school maybe it's your girlfriend maybe it's your boyfriend maybe it's your mom maybe it's

00:08:30.380 your dad right and we all love these people and these people mean well most of the time and what

00:08:36.040 they don't understand is when they criticize us for having a little success or laugh at our dreams

00:08:41.900 what does that make us do it makes us pull back it makes us get more conservative it makes us not say

00:08:48.320 what we want and i can promise you if you can't say what you want you'll never achieve what you want

00:08:53.080 all right it'll never happen so you guys have to understand that it is okay to believe in yourself

00:09:00.680 it is okay to say i'm going to do this it is okay to celebrate your successes winning and life in any

00:09:09.360 area is a great thing and when people start to see you win and they start trying to pull you back

00:09:15.660 that's a good indication of people that you should probably work to separate from because those are the

00:09:21.480 people who are going to draw energy off of you that could otherwise be spent moving you forward

00:09:27.440 all right so guys don't let these people who haven't achieved anything who have no goals who are happy

00:09:34.760 floating through life and by the way if that's them that's cool you don't have to want what they want

00:09:40.500 and they don't have to want what you want but if you want to win and you want to be successful you

00:09:45.460 cannot let other people talk you out of believing in yourself under the guise of quote-unquote being

00:09:52.980 humble all right and i see a lot of you guys do this you think humility is a great core value or place 0.98

00:10:00.900 to be and it is it is and here's why why is humility important because when you know you ain't shit 0.96

00:10:07.580 you keep working when you know that you don't know shit you keep learning when you know you're not that 0.88

00:10:13.620 good you keep working to get good so it's important to stay humble for the reason of growth but that 0.96

00:10:20.600 could be counterproductive if you're hearing it from every all these different people that you're 0.99

00:10:24.400 supposed to love and trust and they're all telling you to get back in line and shut the fuck up 0.97

00:10:28.340 you people who listen to that stuff will never win you will humble yourself to death okay so those 0.98

00:10:35.360 are my two points i want you guys to think about this week um one all right embrace the challenge

00:10:42.680 embrace the adversity stop looking at it as something you need to run from and start looking

00:10:47.640 at it as what can i learn and two stop letting your surroundings and the culture and the people

00:10:52.920 you surround yourself with and you yourself humble yourself to death you and i'm talking to you 0.99

00:10:59.560 listening are a badass motherfucker all of you you just haven't had the courage to step out and be that 0.99

00:11:06.340 yet and when you get out there and you start becoming that you're going to have resistance 0.98

00:11:10.800 go back and listen to episode 59 it's going to happen but like i said those are the people that

00:11:17.180 you can then regulate by noticing that they're not putting energy into you and pushing you forward

00:11:22.860 instead they're pulling you back and once you eliminate those anchors from your life guys it gets

00:11:27.780 a lot easier to win all right so those are my two messages for you this week i want you to work on

00:11:32.980 those things this week i want you to think about those things and notice when you're doing these

00:11:37.060 things don't just be one of these people who consumes my content and doesn't put it into play

00:11:41.560 i do this because i want you guys to win i do this because i want to help you guys and i do this because

00:11:46.520 i fucking care and there's not enough good teachers out there really teaching people what it takes to win 0.95

00:11:51.580 anymore because it's because it's not cool in culture all right well i can tell you this it's always 0.96

00:11:56.220 going to be cool to me so if you ever want to talk to someone who is all about winning and bringing

00:12:01.140 people up that's what we're going to do here regardless of what's popular or not all right guys

00:12:05.440 i love you guys i appreciate you guys thank you so much for all your support thank you so much for

00:12:11.120 all your shares and thank you so much for everything that you do for us we all appreciate it and uh we'll

00:12:16.200 see you guys later on
