00:00:00.420 I can stack them hundreds to the roof. I ain't stopping till they stack to the moon.
00:00:04.900 Without me, my family wouldn't have food. Anybody go against me gotta lose.
00:00:13.840 What is up, guys? You're listening to the MFCEO Project. I'm Andy. I'm your host, and I am the motherfucking CEO.
00:00:21.400 What do you think about that new intro? I like it. I like it. That's T-Grizzly, Wynn. 0.99
00:00:27.000 If you're wondering what that song is, it's T-Grizzly, Wynn. I love it. I'm all about it.
00:00:31.360 I've been rocking it in my car nonstop. Just love, love, love the lyrics.
00:00:37.580 So, guys, today is Friday Fire. I didn't get a chance to do Thursday Thunder.
00:00:42.200 If you're new here, welcome. We do two podcasts a week, usually a more practical lesson on Tuesday.
00:00:49.800 Sometimes we have guests, sometimes we don't.
00:00:52.940 This is not an interview show, so it's not all the time that we have guests.
00:00:57.680 On Thursday, and in this case Friday, I do either a Thursday Thunder or a Friday Fire.
00:01:03.820 This is more of a motivational lesson. 0.98
00:01:09.420 You know, I actually even hate saying that because I'm not a fucking motivator, okay? 0.93
00:01:14.960 I had somebody comment on my YouTube show, The Frisella Factor, and say, oh, it's a little dry. 0.95
00:01:22.320 Well, you know what? I'm not here to fucking motivate you. 0.98
00:01:26.380 If I speak in a motivational way, if the words come out of my mouth and they motivate you, great. 0.97
00:01:32.300 That's called enthusiasm, and you're hearing it, and you're getting excited, and I love that.
00:01:38.360 But if that's what you need to get through the day, if that's what you look for in the value of my content is motivation, 0.99
00:01:44.360 you're missing the fucking point. 0.98
00:01:46.420 So, I'm not intentionally motivating you. 0.99
00:01:50.300 If I have to say, hey, come on, guys, let's fucking do it, you don't have it anyway, all right?
00:01:56.280 It just so happens that when I say things, they happen to have energy behind them, and they get you excited.
00:02:02.780 That is not the point.
00:02:03.960 So, when I say Thursday thunder or Friday fire, I say it because I usually get excited,
00:02:10.000 but the message that you're going to hear is going to be a very specific tool,
00:02:16.380 usually based around how you think, and how you think is very practical.
00:02:22.120 So, don't think of me as motivational speaker. 0.99
00:02:26.100 I fucking hate motivational speakers. 0.97
00:02:28.840 I love people that deliver content, practical content, that you can use to win. 0.98
00:02:36.880 With that being said, if you value the content, guys, please tell a friend,
00:02:42.100 please subscribe to this podcast, and please leave a review, okay?
00:02:46.800 This is an organic movement.
00:02:48.360 The reason I do this podcast, and I don't charge money for this content,
00:02:53.180 is because I see a fundamental problem with the way things are, especially in the United States, okay?
00:03:02.060 We, for the last 20 years, have created a generation of people that literally have no idea how to succeed in the real world.
00:03:10.760 They're told they're special.
00:03:12.300 They're told they're great.
00:03:13.820 They text people nonstop.
00:03:15.720 They don't know how to communicate.
00:03:17.600 They don't know how to shake a hand. 1.00
00:03:19.200 They don't know how to do the shit that's going to make them successful. 1.00
00:03:23.180 And because they're taught the wrong shit, once they reach the age of becoming an adult, what happens? 1.00
00:03:29.380 They go out in the real world, and they get their fucking faces stomped on. 1.00
00:03:35.720 That's why I do this. 1.00
00:03:37.360 Because if you're one of these people, I want you to hear what the truth is.
00:03:42.020 If you're one of these people, I want you to understand what it's going to take, okay?
00:03:48.120 This is not a podcast. 0.99
00:03:50.420 This is a fucking movement. 0.98
00:03:54.100 This is about bettering yourself and bettering the people around you and bringing yourself to a point where you are an example of success in every single area of your life. 1.00
00:04:09.320 I take this serious. 0.98
00:04:11.140 I have a company that makes me a lot of fucking money. 0.99
00:04:17.660 I have five more companies that make me a lot of fucking money. 0.99
00:04:22.120 I don't have to do this. 0.99
00:04:23.900 I do this because I fucking care. 0.91
00:04:27.680 And what I ask of you is that you help me spread the movement. 0.86
00:04:34.320 If you're listening to this and you're learning things and you're getting better and you're improving your life, 0.97
00:04:39.440 please uphold your end of the bargain and bring me a new friend, make a post for me, support me, have people subscribe so that we can fix the problems that we have in this country when it comes to people being fucking weak. 0.98
00:04:59.280 Now, pretty pleased with sugar on top. 0.99
00:05:07.120 Spread the fucking movement. 0.98
00:05:08.180 Now, before I get into what I want to say, I want to preface this podcast that I had an amazing conversation this week with a guest who is going to be on the show Tuesday. 0.99
00:05:21.780 His name is Charlie Jabili.
00:05:24.020 Okay.
00:05:24.320 And Charlie, as you'll hear on the show coming up, was 2 Chainz, the rapper's manager for over 10 years.
00:05:34.880 Charlie is an interesting dude.
00:05:36.420 He's got amazing presence, but not in the way that you think of amazing presence.
00:05:42.200 He's different.
00:05:44.200 He's got positivity overflowing from him, which normally turns me off.
00:05:49.260 But you're going to love Charlie.
00:05:51.260 And when you listen to Tuesday, you're going to love the podcast.
00:05:53.520 I promise you.
00:05:54.140 It's one of my favorite that I've ever done for a lot of reasons, and you'll find out why.
00:05:57.860 But we talked about something on the podcast that is just too important for me to not speak about now.
00:06:04.940 And that is the idea of finding yourself.
00:06:10.560 Okay.
00:06:10.800 We talk about authenticity.
00:06:13.540 We talk about being authentic.
00:06:15.400 We talk about figuring out who you are and what you're about.
00:06:20.020 And when we talk about those things, what do we really do?
00:06:24.120 We talk about it being a journey.
00:06:26.520 We talk about it being a quest.
00:06:29.000 We talk about it being a process.
00:06:33.080 And what do we do when we think about finding ourselves?
00:06:36.780 We think of it as like, dude, we're just kind of kind of live and we're going to go out there. 0.99
00:06:41.280 And eventually we're going to figure out who the fuck we are. 0.98
00:06:44.080 And by definition, figuring out who the fuck we are and going out there and living and putting yourself out there and trying to be on this journey. 0.99
00:06:53.780 What are we really doing? 0.98
00:06:55.760 We are passively becoming what the world tells us we are. 0.98
00:07:03.820 We are not actively deciding who the fuck we are and then going out and becoming that. 0.99
00:07:12.360 Think about it. 1.00
00:07:13.840 Go figure out who you are.
00:07:15.660 Find out who you are.
00:07:17.440 Go on the self-discovery journey. 1.00
00:07:19.240 We hear this shit everywhere. 1.00
00:07:21.320 And you know what? 1.00
00:07:22.140 It's completely fucking backwards. 1.00
00:07:24.360 You figuring out who the fuck you are is not you figuring out who you are. 1.00
00:07:30.360 It's you deciding who you are and then living a life that reflects that decision. 1.00
00:07:37.840 Taking the action that reflects the decision.
00:07:42.000 Going out and becoming who you are in your mind and living that life is a purposeful decision.
00:07:50.340 And a lot of people will say, well, that makes you inauthentic.
00:07:55.440 And that's why people don't do it.
00:07:56.700 Because they think that if they decide who they are and go out and become what they want to be and make decisions based upon who they want to be and going out into the world and being that, they feel like a fraud.
00:08:10.960 We've talked about that before.
00:08:13.200 They don't do it because they feel like it's inauthentic.
00:08:16.480 Well, let me tell you something.
00:08:17.720 Anything you do new is going to feel weird at first. 0.96
00:08:22.060 The first day at the gym, you're going to feel fucking weird. 0.95
00:08:25.040 The first day at a new job, you're going to feel fucking weird. 0.97
00:08:28.340 The first time you go on a date with someone, guess what? 0.98
00:08:31.360 You're going to feel fucking weird. 0.94
00:08:33.020 But does that mean that you don't keep going? 0.97
00:08:35.500 Does that mean that you don't keep pursuing?
00:08:38.580 No.
00:08:39.520 Because you understand that good things happen from you making decisions and following through down those paths.
00:08:47.320 Why should who you are be any different than that?
00:08:52.860 Finding out who you are is not you going out into the world and then having the world tell you who you are.
00:09:02.200 No.
00:09:04.380 But that's what most people do. 0.99
00:09:06.940 Figuring out who you are is making a fucking decision about who you want to be and then going out and becoming that. 0.97
00:09:16.220 And Charlie explained this in a unique way, which I thought was great. 0.93
00:09:20.180 And you're going to hear it on Tuesday's podcast, but I'm going to sum it up for you here.
00:09:23.880 He said, you know what?
00:09:24.760 But I created a character in my brain.
00:09:27.860 I created a vision in my brain about who I wanted to be.
00:09:30.960 And in his case, his name was CEO Charlie.
00:09:34.320 And I decided what CEO Charlie looked like, what his actions were, what he acted like, what he did.
00:09:40.560 And I became that.
00:09:41.780 And that's what took him from being someone who was picked on for being chubby, who was somebody people laughed at, who grew up in a poor neighborhood, to someone who was making record deals for people like 2 Chainz.
00:09:59.860 He decided intentionally who he was going to be.
00:10:04.300 And what's cool about Charlie is he understood that you can reinvent who you are at any time you want.
00:10:08.780 And you're going to hear that story on the podcast as well.
00:10:11.300 I'm not going to spoil it for you. 0.98
00:10:12.720 My main point was to address this idea that self-discovery is somehow a fucking vision quest. 1.00
00:10:22.400 And eventually, when you're 50 years old, you figure out who the fuck you are. 0.99
00:10:26.480 That is not what successful people do. 0.99
00:10:29.440 Successful people decide who they're going to be, and they become that. 0.95
00:10:33.740 And I know firsthand from working with many, many, many, many, many hundreds and thousands of employees that most people don't know who they are because they haven't fucking decided who they are. 0.71
00:10:51.780 You don't have to be a certain age. 0.94
00:10:53.800 You don't have to be, you know, 30 years old.
00:10:56.680 You don't have to be at a certain income.
00:10:58.800 You don't have to have a certain credit score.
00:11:01.100 You don't have to have anybody tell you it's okay.
00:11:05.420 This is your decision because it's your life.
00:11:08.980 And you have to quit looking at it as it's some sort of journey and start looking at it as it's an intentional decision to be a certain way.
00:11:20.140 That does not mean you're faking it.
00:11:22.560 That does not mean you're inauthentic.
00:11:24.580 That does not mean that you are somehow less than somebody else.
00:11:29.580 Everybody out there has insecurities.
00:11:33.720 Everybody out there has times of low confidence.
00:11:38.120 Everybody out there has times of feeling like a fraud. 1.00
00:11:42.400 You just don't get to see that shit because they hide it just like you fucking hide it. 1.00
00:11:47.400 The feelings that you have about your decision to be whatever it is you're deciding to be when it comes to yourself are normal. 1.00
00:11:58.760 If you go out in the world and you decide to go on a self-discovery quest and go out in the world trying to find who you are, I'm going to tell you what you're going to end up with.
00:12:13.280 You're going to end up with an average job.
00:12:15.820 You're going to end up with an average income.
00:12:17.980 You're going to end up with an average spouse. 0.99
00:12:20.320 You're going to end up with an average house.
00:12:22.720 You're going to end up with an average car. 0.92
00:12:24.660 You're going to end up completely fucking average because what the world tells you you need to be is just like everybody else.
00:12:33.700 Self-discovery is a serious thing, but I wouldn't even call it self-discovery. 0.98
00:12:38.620 I would call it self-decisions.
00:12:40.240 You need to start taking an active role in who you are.
00:12:46.540 You need to not wait for people to tell you who you are.
00:12:50.800 You need to decide what it is you're going to be and you need to back that up with actions that will build that life.
00:13:00.080 Stop waiting for your boss or your spouse or your friends to tell you what you should and shouldn't do.
00:13:06.940 Stop waiting for these people that you surround yourself with to tell you what you're good at and what you're not.
00:13:15.380 Decide what you want to be good at and be good at it.
00:13:19.080 Decide who you are and what you want and go do those things.
00:13:23.340 Do not look at it as I'm going to find out who I am.
00:13:27.220 Look at it as I'm going to decide who I am.
00:13:30.400 Two completely different concepts.
00:13:32.340 And I can tell you right now, I promise most of the people that are listening to this podcast are people who have been passively letting the world tell them what they should and shouldn't be.
00:13:48.500 A few of you have decided to be something on your own, but most of you have not. 0.99
00:13:53.500 And if you want to build the life that you think about, that you're afraid to tell everybody about, that you dream about, that you're looking up on Google when nobody's watching, when you want to build that life, you have to get intentional about who the fuck you are. 0.97
00:14:12.520 You guys have to understand that life is an intentional journey. 0.96
00:14:21.340 It's not a passive journey. 1.00
00:14:24.800 Self-discovery is not wandering around in the fucking world until it hits you in the fucking face. 1.00
00:14:32.500 Self-discovery is deciding where you want to go and learning some shit along the way. 1.00
00:14:42.520 Self-discovery is not possible. 0.74
00:15:07.720 Self-discovery is not reproduced today.
