00:00:00.000 what is up guys you're listening to the mf ceo project i'm andy i'm your host and i am the 0.79
00:00:11.720 motherfucking ceo guys first off this is thursday thunder this is your first time listening welcome 0.97
00:00:18.120 today is going to be uh basically motivation it's where i'm going to kick you right in the nuts 0.99
00:00:23.720 and get you to uh you know get out get some shit done on tuesdays we usually do more practical 0.80
00:00:29.240 podcasts i'd like to apologize for you guys uh it's been a couple weeks since we've had a tuesday
00:00:33.680 podcast and the reason for that is because we've been preparing the frisella factor youtube show
00:00:40.200 okay and what is the frisella factor youtube show it's a show where i can expand my ability to help
00:00:46.780 you guys via q a it's going to have my take on certain topics every show um and of course it's
00:00:53.720 going to be on youtube so uh the basis of the show is going to be q a which means i need your questions
00:00:59.100 so if you have questions uh go to ask the mf ceo.com again that's ask the mf ceo.com submit
00:01:07.120 your questions there that's how uh we'll we'll utilize them for the show and then also uh if i
00:01:13.040 use your show you know or use your question we'll shout you out on the show uh get you a little love
00:01:17.360 that way um guys today on thursday thunder i do have something that is somewhat practical and
00:01:24.380 somewhat motivational i want to talk to you guys about uh and if my voice fades out i've been battling
00:01:30.900 a sore throat for like two weeks uh so i apologize if the normal uh frisella factor
00:01:37.600 fucking oomph isn't in the voice but i'm trying all right listen i want to talk to you about sacrifice 0.86
00:01:45.660 okay a lot of people think they understand what being an entrepreneur is or becoming successful is 0.98
00:01:53.560 and they they think they understand what they have to give up okay and i'm here to tell you that 99
00:02:00.960 percent of you guys listening to this have a very skewed idea of what it actually takes sacrifice wise
00:02:10.600 and what you're going to deal with during this journey and i and i and and so many people
00:02:17.060 struggle with this issue because um i i could tell because i get asked about it a lot and the questions
00:02:26.160 that they ask it makes people feel that they're abnormal or they're they're enduring some sort of
00:02:34.160 pain that most people don't have or their situation is uh somehow
00:02:40.220 more extreme than the other let me explain this first off pain is relative okay your level 10 pain 0.74
00:02:49.440 and my level 10 pain are still level fucking 10 pain all right and you may look at what's causing me 0.92
00:02:56.080 level 10 pain and say well that would only cause me eight but it's causing me 10 okay and i may look
00:03:02.680 at yours and say your level 10 pain is causing it would cause me two all right um because the chances are 0.97
00:03:10.000 i've been through a lot more fucking shit than you at this point because most of you guys are young 0.98
00:03:13.300 um and you might see it as a 10 okay so understand that pain is pain and frustration is frustration 1.00
00:03:21.660 stress is stress and so many of you motherfuckers out there try to compete with your level of suffering 0.99
00:03:28.520 as it's some sort of badge of honor no man we all fucking suffer me too every day it's hard as fuck 1.00
00:03:34.700 i come to work every day i get my fucking brains beat in just like you you guys see my snapchat you 0.99
00:03:39.680 see my fucking instagram you see the cars you see the vacations you see the jets you see the shit that 1.00
00:03:44.840 i do and you think oh it must be fucking easy i'm gonna tell you right now it doesn't get any fucking 0.99
00:03:48.720 easier it gets more tolerable and that's a completely different thing all right so guys
00:03:56.980 as we talk about this for a minute i want to get into like sacrifice okay because i get so many of
00:04:04.040 you young guys that come to me and you say well my girlfriend left me or i you know my parents don't
00:04:11.460 believe in me or uh you know i had to get rid of my apartment and i had to sleep with some friends
00:04:17.740 and i don't know where i'm going to live and i can't afford to eat and i have to work three other
00:04:22.200 jobs to even run my business and and and and and there's all these stories and i've experienced a lot
00:04:29.900 all those things i just said i've experienced and those came from me but you might experience other 0.75
00:04:35.960 things you might experience things that i didn't experience but they're still hard as fuck okay and i 0.80
00:04:41.760 understand that but what i want you to understand is this part of being an entrepreneur you're going
00:04:46.720 to go through phases all right and in the beginning especially when you're young but even when you're 0.99
00:04:52.700 older this is true you're going to say some shit like this hey and you're going to tell your fucking 0.98
00:04:57.260 friends hey um you know i'm thinking about starting this business and that you know i have this idea and 1.00
00:05:02.660 you're going to tell your fucking friends who all have regular fucking jobs who live normal fucking 0.99
00:05:07.000 lives that society dictates to them okay you're going to tell them about this idea and they're going to 1.00
00:05:13.500 they're going to look at you and they're going to say why why would you want to do that well yeah i mean
00:05:20.180 do you know how hard it is to build a successful business do you know that nine out of ten restaurants
00:05:25.900 fail do you know that 97 percent of businesses fail i mean how are you going to get the money 0.98
00:05:31.360 how are you going to do this why would you do that and they're going to fucking and you're going to 0.99
00:05:37.200 perceive this as like them totally trying to sink your ship okay and and so the first thing is they're 0.98
00:05:44.380 not trying to sink your ship they just don't fucking know any better and they haven't thought outside the 1.00
00:05:48.540 box that society has painted for them they're ignorant and they live inside a box of ignorance 1.00
00:05:53.140 and they're always likely going to live inside that box of ignorance so you have to understand 0.97
00:05:57.560 that you have two choices one you can either remove yourself from those situations or two you can 0.56
00:06:03.300 accept those people for being ignorant and let them think the things that they think and don't let
00:06:08.260 it affect you because at the end of the day guys what you do is what matters not what other people
00:06:12.900 think about what you do okay it's about what you do and you worrying about what these people say about 0.96
00:06:21.100 you or what uh your friends think or what your fucking aunt thinks or what your uncle thinks or what 1.00
00:06:26.840 your fucking mom thinks that shit doesn't fucking matter all that matters in success is this you make 1.00
00:06:33.540 a list and you cross shit off the list until the list is done and then you make a new fucking list 1.00
00:06:38.780 that's it it's about what you do your feelings don't matter other people's belief doesn't matter 0.99
00:06:44.900 until you have employees and you have to start making them believe in your vision which is a whole
00:06:48.880 other thing that we can talk about another day but right now i'm talking about some of the more
00:06:53.960 basic struggles and some of the sacrifices and the first one's gonna be friends and family all right 1.00
00:06:57.980 you're gonna fucking lose some friends you're gonna lose some relationships with your fucking 0.99
00:07:02.320 family that's normal shit and anybody who fucking says that's wrong or not correct or not this or that 0.99
00:07:08.240 isn't a real fucking entrepreneur and they never actually built anything you might have these 1.00
00:07:12.440 motherfuckers on the internet who sell you shit you know a thousand dollars program or five thousand 1.00
00:07:17.220 dollar program and say oh work from home sit on the fucking beach drink a fucking corona and make 1.00
00:07:22.180 trillions of dollars and still have all the same friends dude they're full of shit it doesn't work 1.00
00:07:27.340 that way all right so you're gonna lose some of that that's normal shit another thing that you're 0.99
00:07:32.060 gonna have to do 98 percent of people have to do this is that they're gonna have to fucking take a step 0.86
00:07:38.340 back in life you're probably gonna have to downsize your house you're probably gonna have to downsize
00:07:42.440 your apartment you're probably gonna have to downsize your car you're probably gonna have to make some
00:07:46.280 some financial decisions that are not fun to make you're probably gonna look silly to your friends and
00:07:51.300 family because you're not driving as nice of a car living in nice of a house or uh you know being
00:07:56.740 able to go eat and drink at the places that you did before guys you know when i was building my
00:08:02.200 business with my business partner chris you know we we went back and forth between having apartments
00:08:07.060 and living in the back of our stores and you know when we were four years in we started our business
00:08:12.780 at 19 we were four years in we had just been getting a paycheck for our first year at four years in so
00:08:19.760 our first three years we didn't get anything our fourth year we started getting 695 dollars a month
00:08:24.500 net okay now all of our friends are graduating college everybody we hung out with is graduating
00:08:32.360 college at this point they're all going out and getting jobs for 40 50 60 70 thousand dollars a year
00:08:38.480 me and chris are making 695 dollars a month which you know um i'm gonna do the math right here
00:08:45.120 is exactly uh eight thousand three hundred and forty dollars a year okay so you got your boys making 1.00
00:08:53.640 70 60 50 thousand dollars a year and i'm making fucking eight grand and these motherfuckers are 1.00
00:08:59.300 telling me shit like this bro why why are you still doing that bro do you still got that little vitamin 1.00
00:09:05.140 shop hey uh we're going on vacation with the with the family you know we're going to fucking dominican 1.00
00:09:10.700 republic you know me chris like we can't even fucking go anywhere you know we're staying in 0.99
00:09:16.180 town over christmas break when our family lives four hours away because we can't afford to fucking drive 0.98
00:09:21.520 home you know what i'm saying like like dude that shit's hard but it's also normal okay and so these 0.97
00:09:29.460 things that happen to you as you become more engaged in the entrepreneurship journey realize that this kind of 0.98
00:09:39.000 shit's going to happen you know um you're going to have bad things happen you're going to have things 0.92
00:09:43.960 that are out of your control you're going to have things that that for no reason or no explanation 0.95
00:09:50.020 happen to you that and and it's going to seem like you know why me why why did this happen like um
00:09:57.820 you know for example our store got broken into two weeks into us opening the store it got vandalized
00:10:05.280 the dudes opened up every single bottle of protein and supplements that we that we had and created a 0.85
00:10:10.520 giant fucking protein shake on the floor it was clearly vandalism um you know why did that happen 1.00
00:10:18.000 to us i don't know i don't know why it fucking happened it just did and you're going to have shit 1.00
00:10:24.540 like that you're going to have shit that questions should i keep going or question makes you question uh do 0.99
00:10:30.260 i need to keep doing this or uh makes you say you know why me and like guys that's fucking normal 0.99
00:10:36.120 you know you're gonna have girlfriends you know look dude i had a fucking girlfriend in college i lived 1.00
00:10:40.900 with she left me for a fucking dude who was 40 something years old who fucking drove a fucking 1.00
00:10:46.060 a three series bmw and thought he was a motherfucking baller you know and i got told by her that i was a 0.99
00:10:55.040 fucking loser okay like i'm i'm broke this dude's fucking old and rich she's like 22 you know not old 1.00
00:11:03.240 and rich but he he pretends like he is and you know what dude i got fucking i got fucking dumped 1.00
00:11:09.420 for some fucking old dude who had a little bit fucking a flash to show but you know what if you 0.99
00:11:16.740 can't look back at your life now and say god that was a great thing that happened to me i don't know what 0.99
00:11:20.580 the fuck you know you know what how you could even look at it is a bad thing but at the time i was 0.94
00:11:26.480 devastated at the time i was pissed at the time i was frustrated at the time i was saying that's not 0.99
00:11:31.700 fucking fair and you know what it wasn't fucking fair but life isn't fucking fair all right and so 0.98
00:11:37.260 all these bad things guys are gonna fucking happen to you all these bad things are gonna fucking you 0.99
00:11:42.460 know they're gonna come along they're gonna punch you in the fucking mouth over and over and over and 1.00
00:11:47.460 over again and you have two choices you have the choice that you can either keep getting back up 1.00
00:11:53.080 or you could have the choice that you can lay the fuck down and you could become like every other 1.00
00:11:57.740 motherfucker that you've known for your entire fucking lives and be just like them and that's 1.00
00:12:02.320 your two fucking choices and it comes down to how willing are you to endure the fucking punches to 1.00
00:12:08.300 the face over and over and over again versus how willing are you just to accept the fact that you 1.00
00:12:15.740 could be like everybody else that you've ever met your entire fucking life those are your two 0.98
00:12:19.780 fucking choices it doesn't get any more clear than that i don't really know how you know like people 0.99
00:12:26.060 ask me to say how do you stay motivated it's simple i don't want to fucking be like everybody else 0.99
00:12:31.280 that's it i don't want to go back to whatever where i was you know i can always tell by where people 0.86
00:12:39.360 started in business by the questions they ask and one of the clear the clear telltale questions that i can
00:12:45.720 tell where somebody's brain is when they say how do you stay motivated if you have to ask somebody how
00:12:50.620 to stay fucking motivated when you're in business then you don't have it you shouldn't be in business 0.99
00:12:56.060 are you going to get burned out yeah i get fucking burned out but that doesn't mean i'm not motivated 0.99
00:13:02.000 that doesn't mean i don't still fucking do the shit i need to do you know i talked about this a few 0.99
00:13:08.660 podcasts ago it doesn't matter how you feel it doesn't matter what you feel like it doesn't matter 0.99
00:13:14.000 how frustrated or pissed or angry or depressed or upset you are all that matters is that you do 0.98
00:13:20.820 what needs to be done on a daily basis over and over and over again and if you do that shit and it 0.99
00:13:28.480 doesn't and it gets done it's irrelevant how you fucking feel and i can tell you this if you do that 1.00
00:13:34.040 shit for long enough you're going to feel a lot fucking better about your life than you do right now 0.99
00:13:38.200 so when you say oh how do you stay motivated if you got to ask you don't got it all right but 1.00
00:13:45.780 getting back to sacrifice guys i can't even explain to you you know i don't even have fucking kids 0.98
00:13:54.360 because i've sacrificed so much for this company you know and what i've done and a lot of you guys 0.98
00:13:59.240 you say well that's terrible but i don't see it as terrible i have a great fucking life i have great 0.98
00:14:04.840 fucking family i have a great fucking family of employees here that i care about and vice versa 0.99
00:14:09.680 i mean dude we have a good fucking time at work like dude there's there's there's always a way 1.00
00:14:15.580 for your sacrifices to pay off and if you want whatever it is that you want bad enough you're 0.97
00:14:24.160 gonna find a way to fucking see it through you know it's whenever you get to the point of you know 0.89
00:14:30.780 i'm having all these bad things happen and this is and and you get this thought in your head and 0.98
00:14:35.320 this is where this is where a lot of entrepreneurs fuck up when it comes to sacrifice they have all
00:14:40.040 these bad things happen they have setback after setback after setback which are normal setbacks 1.00
00:14:47.000 and then they say something like this inside their brain well fuck you know this doesn't seem to be 0.99
00:14:55.500 working out the way i want it to i don't think this is for me you know what i'm gonna try something 0.99
00:15:00.860 else and that is where most people fail as an entrepreneur so they're not giving up as being
00:15:06.760 an entrepreneur they're giving up on whatever project it is all right and what and the problem
00:15:13.100 with this is is that whenever you give up on these projects like that you get to a place where you're
00:15:19.280 starting over every time something gets fucking hard and if you start over every time something 0.89
00:15:24.460 gets fucking hard you're never gonna build anything okay we talk about this a lot but that's where 0.94
00:15:30.220 most people fail they don't say oh i'm gonna fucking not be an entrepreneur i'm not gonna be a business 0.99
00:15:33.920 owner they just become mediocre people who own fucking small small businesses that can't pay their 0.99
00:15:39.080 fucking bills because they're never willing to endure the hard fucking times because they think 0.99
00:15:44.440 it's abnormal and guys what i want you to understand from this podcast is this all the tough things 1.00
00:15:51.640 all the hard things all the all the bad things the the worst things that are happening to you because
00:15:57.660 of this journey that you're trying to take those are all fucking normal it's all part of the process
00:16:03.320 all of that is grooming you for you being able to deal with much bigger much harder much tougher issues 0.99
00:16:11.400 in the future okay who cares if your fucking girlfriend left you it doesn't fucking matter if she left you 0.98
00:16:18.080 because you're working hard one day you're going to be the dude with all kinds of money who's 1.00
00:16:21.920 successful and she's going to be the dude with some broke motherfucker that can't pay their fucking bills 1.00
00:16:25.840 you think she's happy with that your friends fucking oh they don't call you anymore so what 1.00
00:16:32.640 you're going to have friends that fucking call you one day to go fly on their fucking jet 1.00
00:16:36.220 and go to fucking aruba you don't think you'd rather have that guys quit bitching about minor things 1.00
00:16:43.300 focus on what needs to be fucking done understand all these sacrifices that we talk about are that 0.99
00:16:49.760 you're experiencing are fucking normal go out and do what needs to be done and if you do that 0.97
00:16:56.440 these things won't be seen as sacrifices down the road they'll be seen as lessons and blessings 1.00
00:17:02.060 that you stuck with the program endured this shit and it'll become part of an awesome story 1.00
00:17:08.960 that you get to sit down and tell millions of fucking people 1.00
00:17:11.840 one day 1.00
00:17:12.280 you
