00:00:00.000 Hey everybody, come on in. It's time for coffee with Scott Adams. Yes, it's a good time. Aren't you glad you're here? All the good stuff's going to happen here in a moment.
00:00:22.720 Yeah, this will be one of the best coffees with Scott Adams. And all you need is, well, not much really. Doesn't take much. Just a cup or a mug or a glass, a tank or chalice or stein, a canteen jug or a flask, a vessel of any kind. Fill it with your favorite liquid. I like coffee.
00:00:42.860 And join me now for the unparalleled pleasure, the dopamine hit of the day, the thing that makes everything better, including riots. It's called the simultaneous sip and it happens now. Go.
00:00:57.420 Ah, delightful. So I woke up this morning to some trolling from Tom Arnold. It's weird to be a little bit famous like me, because you have encounters with other people who are a little bit famous.
00:01:22.020 And so Tom Arnold came after me and he used the so attack, where you start your tweet with, so, I guess you're saying. And it doesn't matter what comes after the word so. Everything that comes after the word so can just be ignored.
00:01:38.900 Because the word so says, whatever that follows is going to be a misinterpretation of your opinion, followed by a snarky comment on my own misinterpretation of your opinion.
00:01:53.120 So rather than try to interact with people like that, I just tweet it and note it as the so tell for, you know, a tell as an indicator for, I know, you're just looking at my cat behind me.
00:02:08.720 You stopped, you stopped watching me completely as soon as the cat walked by.
00:02:13.260 Anyway, it's the so tell for cognitive dissonance.
00:02:16.940 So Tom Arnold is not what I'd call a good debater.
00:02:23.120 So it looks like the Trump strategy for winning the presidency is, and this isn't funny, but it is.
00:02:38.700 I've said this before in my own defense.
00:02:41.720 There are things that make me laugh that aren't funny, meaning that it's something bad happening to somebody.
00:02:48.160 And there's nothing funny about bad things happening to somebody.
00:02:52.100 But sometimes they make you laugh under just the right conditions.
00:02:56.840 I'm not proud of it.
00:02:58.640 But here's one of those cases.
00:03:01.440 It appears that Trump's strategy for winning the election is to let the Democrats burn down their own stuff.
00:03:09.760 Because they seem to think they, the people on the left, well, first of all, the Democrats believe that the protesters are on their side.
00:03:23.120 Okay, that's the first funny part.
00:03:25.360 The protesters are not on the Democrat side.
00:03:28.880 Now, that should be obvious by the fact that they've surrounded Mayor Ted Wheeler's apartment and set it on fire.
00:03:43.520 It's not funny.
00:03:44.880 There's nothing funny about setting somebody's apartment on fire.
00:03:48.020 That would be the worst tragedy ever.
00:03:50.100 So I'm not laughing.
00:03:51.040 So the Democrats believe that they're helping to protect the people who are literally trapping them in their homes and setting them on fire.
00:04:04.020 And they're thinking, well, maybe this strategy doesn't sound so good on paper.
00:04:12.400 But let us play this out a little bit.
00:04:14.920 Give us a little space.
00:04:16.920 We can make this work.
00:04:18.100 We can make this work.
00:04:21.040 And Trump is just sitting back there saying, I got a whole army.
00:04:30.880 If you want, we can start with the National Guard.
00:04:34.080 But if that's not enough, I've got a whole army.
00:04:37.620 You just have to say, send them in.
00:04:40.500 Because, you know, I'm no dictator.
00:04:43.760 I'm not some kind of authoritarian despot.
00:04:49.560 But I can't just send in military.
00:04:52.560 Can't do that.
00:04:54.060 So you're going to have to ask me.
00:04:57.460 Just checking with you again.
00:04:59.100 Would you like to ask me?
00:05:01.120 And because they can't do anything that he wants them to do, it's just impossible.
00:05:07.920 They just can't agree with him.
00:05:09.500 It's the most diabolical trap I've ever seen.
00:05:14.260 Because what makes it good is it preys on their own stupidity.
00:05:18.200 But it does it in a public way.
00:05:20.580 The public is looking at this and saying,
00:05:23.640 wait, I didn't catch the part about why you don't want the federal help to stop an enormous problem.
00:05:33.120 I wasn't catching the reason.
00:05:37.640 Oh, oh, I get it.
00:05:39.640 When the law enforcement comes in in sufficient numbers to make a problem go away, it makes it worse.
00:05:48.460 That's their argument.
00:05:50.580 That if you make a problem go away, it makes it worse.
00:05:55.500 I guess.
00:05:56.620 So the president has the Democrats in this impossible kill box.
00:06:02.380 I mean, there's just no way out.
00:06:04.040 So they've decided to try to chew through the wall.
00:06:07.800 You know, because they're totally trapped in this, you know, backing domestic terrorism.
00:06:16.340 And every time one of the leaders of, like, Black Lives Matter or one of the organizers
00:06:21.340 says something on the streets that gets recorded,
00:06:24.380 did something like, you know, they really want to kill all the police or, you know,
00:06:29.160 they're going to burn down everything.
00:06:31.100 And you can see all of the, you can just imagine all the Democrats thinking,
00:06:35.780 oh, we backed the wrong team.
00:06:41.160 We might, maybe we should have done a little research before we went all in on the protesters.
00:06:46.840 So the president has them in this total kill box.
00:06:50.160 They're trying to chew through the wall, as has been widely reported.
00:06:54.320 They're trying to go from, there's no riots here, to, hey, these must be Donald Trump's
00:07:01.060 riots that are happening entirely in Democratic-led cities.
00:07:05.280 And that's what we're promising to give you more of.
00:07:09.080 More of the stuff that Trump can stop in an hour if you just ask.
00:07:14.500 You just have to ask.
00:07:15.520 So the fact that the Democrats are burning down their own stuff to try to win this election
00:07:23.260 is, I don't know, it just seems funny to me.
00:07:29.780 So I had an experiment.
00:07:31.940 I've told you before I have one friend in particular who will just argue to the end of the earth
00:07:38.580 that Trump is orange band bad.
00:07:42.840 And I've tried to not engage him because the TDS is just off the chart, like you can't really deal with him.
00:07:52.240 But the thing that fascinates me is that he's a very rational, very smart, very smart,
00:07:58.360 higher IQ than mind, I would think, and well-informed for citizens in general.
00:08:09.600 But of course, he's well-informed in that Democrat way.
00:08:14.040 The Democrat way of being well-informed is to not know anything because they only watch the fake news,
00:08:19.920 which they are sure is real news, which is funny.
00:08:24.680 It's like they're watching professional wrestling, and they're saying,
00:08:28.100 no, no, that's real.
00:08:31.080 That professional wrestling you see up there, I know people say it's fake,
00:08:35.060 but I'm looking right at it with my own eyes.
00:08:38.180 I mean, look at it.
00:08:39.220 It's obviously real.
00:08:40.240 And of course, the Republicans are saying,
00:08:44.460 you're saying that professional wrestling is real?
00:08:49.860 Because just look at it.
00:08:52.360 It's obviously not real.
00:08:53.980 If you're an adult, just look at it.
00:08:56.440 And the Democrats say, I am looking at it with my own eyes.
00:09:00.380 That's obviously real.
00:09:02.320 So there's this weird world we're in where the Democrats think that their fake news is actually real news.
00:09:07.960 Now, of course, I believe the fake news comes from both the left and the right.
00:09:14.860 So don't put me in the box that says fake news is only coming from one direction,
00:09:20.800 because that's not the box I'm in.
00:09:24.220 Somebody's mentioning Jim Gaffigan.
00:09:26.520 I told you I met Jim Gaffigan a few times, and he was a great guy,
00:09:31.980 but I had to just block him and delete him from my life.
00:09:37.960 And for going full TDS.
00:09:41.840 Anyway, so I talked to my friend who's so smart,
00:09:44.180 and I said, and I tried to convince him that he was only watching fake news.
00:09:51.000 So I started talking him out of the fine people hoax.
00:09:55.040 And I would send him, you know, send him the transcript.
00:09:58.800 I would show him, you know, sending various people debunking it.
00:10:02.800 And finally, finally, I actually got him to understand that the most central part of his belief system,
00:10:12.860 the fine people hoax, didn't happen.
00:10:16.020 I actually accomplished that.
00:10:17.860 I didn't think it could be done.
00:10:19.440 But remember, I told you I'm dealing with somebody who is hyper-rational, super smart.
00:10:24.600 So I thought, under that specific condition,
00:10:29.120 I should be able to break through if I just keep hammering on this.
00:10:32.780 And actually succeeded in convincing him that the fine people hoax didn't happen.
00:10:39.520 Then I had to go to work on the drinking bleach hoax.
00:10:47.840 Hello?
00:10:48.400 Hello?
00:10:48.500 Hello?
00:10:52.440 Hello?
00:10:54.640 I don't know who that was.
00:10:57.240 So I convinced him that the drinking bleach thing was fake, too.
00:11:05.180 So just try to hold this in your mind.
00:11:08.480 I now convinced him that his two biggest belief systems
00:11:11.780 about why the president wouldn't be good for coronavirus and his racial thoughts,
00:11:17.120 the two biggest things were fake news.
00:11:20.760 And I got through.
00:11:22.460 I actually made that case and was successful with lots of sources.
00:11:28.500 So then he was angry at me because he saw a clip,
00:11:33.340 somebody sent him a clip of me apparently believing that Joe Biden was satanic.
00:11:41.120 Now, those of you who have been watching me know that that was a trick that I played.
00:11:46.240 Let's call it a public demonstration in which I said something that I knew would be turned into fake news
00:11:53.160 through the same editing trick as the fine people hoax and the drinking bleach hoax,
00:11:58.680 which is you just take off the clarifying part.
00:12:01.640 So I made sure the clarifying part could be easily deleted.
00:12:05.820 And it was.
00:12:06.400 So sure enough, I became national news, you know, at the B-level news.
00:12:13.520 It never reached the highest levels.
00:12:16.160 But it became a big news story.
00:12:18.300 My friend saw it and said,
00:12:19.500 what's this craziness about you believing there's a satanic connection?
00:12:24.820 And then I showed him the video in which I had explained the entire trick
00:12:30.000 from the original showing, you know, showing that I had said,
00:12:34.080 I don't believe in any of this.
00:12:36.040 It's just confirmation bias.
00:12:38.020 Then I showed him how I planned to have it taken out of context.
00:12:42.040 It was.
00:12:43.260 And it was a good demonstration.
00:12:45.080 Do you know what he said?
00:12:46.960 He said that I,
00:12:48.360 that I had embarrassed him.
00:12:50.940 I had embarrassed him because the people who had contacted him had met me through him
00:13:00.000 some time in the past.
00:13:01.900 And therefore it was embarrassing to him to be associated with me.
00:13:08.200 Wait for it.
00:13:09.780 Because the fake news had taken something that wasn't bad in any way and turned it into fake news
00:13:16.860 that he knew was fake news.
00:13:19.460 But his friends didn't.
00:13:22.180 And so it was embarrassing to him.
00:13:24.160 And so I'm kind of a jerk.
00:13:29.380 Nothing about this is even close to a rational situation.
00:13:36.560 And then, of course, as you know, it always doubles back to,
00:13:40.540 but there weren't any fine people at the Charlottesville.
00:13:43.560 And then I always go back to the top and I say,
00:13:45.980 all right, this will be the third or fourth time I've said the following thing
00:13:50.960 that you pretend I've never said.
00:13:53.760 And I'll say it again.
00:13:55.220 And I will predict.
00:13:56.720 And this is how I finally ended the conversation, I think.
00:14:00.300 I said, I predict that by tomorrow,
00:14:02.680 you're going to pretend I didn't say what I'm going to say right now,
00:14:05.880 which is it doesn't matter who was there at Charlottesville.
00:14:09.220 Because the president stated his assumption of who was there,
00:14:13.320 spoke to his assumption that there were some people who were not racist,
00:14:17.400 who just liked the monuments.
00:14:19.140 That might be true.
00:14:20.740 It might be false.
00:14:22.520 It is irrelevant whether it's true or false,
00:14:25.200 because the only person who checked on it was me.
00:14:29.820 Nobody else checked on it.
00:14:31.080 So if he was wrong,
00:14:33.880 he was just wrong about an assumption,
00:14:35.680 which was actually a completely reasonable assumption,
00:14:39.020 which I later validated personally,
00:14:41.380 by talking to attendees,
00:14:43.100 that he was right.
00:14:44.960 Now, even if he was wrong,
00:14:47.220 it doesn't make any difference,
00:14:48.580 because he spoke to his assumption.
00:14:50.680 And the whole point is,
00:14:51.820 what were you thinking when you said it?
00:14:53.860 That's the point.
00:14:54.840 What were you thinking?
00:14:56.400 And what he was thinking is determined by his assumption,
00:14:59.960 which he stated.
00:15:02.040 So by predicting that he would forget that again in 24 hours,
00:15:08.000 I think it caused him to not pretend he forgot it in 24 hours.
00:15:12.800 So I think that was my breakthrough.
00:15:14.740 I'm not sure.
00:15:17.420 So we got protests in D.C.
00:15:19.980 We had police shot an allegedly armed black man.
00:15:26.000 I think killed him.
00:15:27.840 And yeah, they did kill him.
00:15:29.400 So L.A. is erupting.
00:15:32.120 So you got L.A., D.C.,
00:15:33.920 Portland.
00:15:34.760 And here's the interesting part.
00:15:39.800 Rand Paul and the president are both suggesting
00:15:43.640 that there are out-of-town agitators,
00:15:47.200 and if we can find out who's funding them,
00:15:50.300 somebody's going to be in a lot of trouble.
00:15:52.520 And do you think we don't know yet who is funding the people
00:15:58.400 that Trump alleged came in on airplanes
00:16:03.500 and Rand Paul said they had a change of clothes?
00:16:06.520 So it's like they know something already
00:16:09.280 that they're not ready to tell the public
00:16:11.760 or it's not confirmed, I suppose.
00:16:13.200 But I think we're going to find out something interesting there.
00:16:18.500 So some of you are guessing Soros.
00:16:22.900 I'm going to guess.
00:16:24.340 I'm going to be a contrarian.
00:16:26.060 I wouldn't say it's impossible.
00:16:28.760 I wouldn't say it's impossible
00:16:30.480 that George Soros funded an organization
00:16:33.880 that funded some people to travel and protest.
00:16:37.020 That feels like it could have been, possibly.
00:16:40.620 But I think we're going to find somebody else.
00:16:44.940 I don't know who.
00:16:45.880 I don't have a hypothesis.
00:16:48.580 But I think you're going to find somebody else.
00:16:51.660 I would extend that to say that the Tiki Torch guys
00:16:55.200 who were marching in Charlottesville,
00:16:58.140 I don't think they were organic either.
00:17:01.160 They were a little bit too good for the camera,
00:17:04.080 if you know what I mean.
00:17:05.020 And why have we never seen anybody
00:17:07.160 who looked kind of like that group,
00:17:09.640 the Tiki Torch guys?
00:17:10.900 Never saw them before,
00:17:12.660 anybody who looked or presented themselves that way.
00:17:15.820 Never seen it since.
00:17:17.640 Huh.
00:17:18.480 Would you say that the neo-Nazis all went away
00:17:22.240 after that day?
00:17:23.720 Or would you say that they lost interest
00:17:26.080 in any kind of public display?
00:17:29.000 Huh.
00:17:30.020 Lots of questions.
00:17:31.580 So I would guess that what we're seeing now
00:17:33.860 is not completely organic.
00:17:36.020 It's definitely not organic.
00:17:38.120 The trolls that are coming after me
00:17:40.720 and other people online are definitely not organic.
00:17:43.360 Those are coordinated.
00:17:46.140 We know that.
00:17:47.080 And I think Charlottesville was some kind of an operation.
00:17:54.320 I don't know entirely,
00:17:55.620 but there was something going on there.
00:17:58.140 The big story today is that Trump was,
00:18:03.040 that they alleged that Trump went to Walter Reed
00:18:05.900 some time ago
00:18:07.220 and that Pence was put on alert
00:18:10.360 that he could be in charge,
00:18:12.280 depending on what happened there.
00:18:13.820 and there's rumors from the insiders that,
00:18:17.960 oh, how interesting,
00:18:19.840 we don't know the names of the anonymous sources.
00:18:23.540 Well, as you know,
00:18:25.500 anonymous sources are never wrong.
00:18:28.200 Right?
00:18:29.560 There is nothing less reliable
00:18:31.740 than an anonymous source in the White House.
00:18:34.480 That is the least,
00:18:36.260 it's got to be the least credible source
00:18:39.140 of any information.
00:18:40.140 But they're saying that they think he had some mini-strokes.
00:18:44.700 And then there's a video of him
00:18:46.000 appearing to slur his words.
00:18:48.800 Now, I sent the video around
00:18:51.080 and asked if it looked doctored,
00:18:52.960 and people said no.
00:18:54.620 At least one expert said,
00:18:56.100 nope, not doctored.
00:18:58.240 It does look like he either had some
00:19:00.780 dental work that day.
00:19:03.540 He definitely was slurring his speech.
00:19:05.200 There's no doubt about that.
00:19:06.480 But it looks like it was more like dental work.
00:19:08.480 There certainly doesn't seem to be
00:19:10.780 anything wrong with him at the moment.
00:19:13.120 We've watched the president in public
00:19:14.860 continuously and extensively for months.
00:19:19.620 I haven't seen any problem.
00:19:21.920 So we shall keep an eye on that,
00:19:25.400 but it sounds more like an election year thing
00:19:27.800 that you say as more of a response
00:19:29.580 because Biden is falling apart.
00:19:33.340 Rasmussen, the Rasmussen Report polling company,
00:19:37.920 they continue to entertain me
00:19:40.200 by noting that their competitors
00:19:42.720 went silent after the Republican convention.
00:19:49.200 They just stopped publishing their polls for a while.
00:19:52.120 Don't know why.
00:19:53.520 They just stopped publishing.
00:19:56.060 Could it be?
00:19:57.540 Could it be because the polls
00:19:59.260 are so favorable relative
00:20:02.120 to what they were for Trump?
00:20:03.940 Could it be?
00:20:05.820 Because the ones who aren't publishing
00:20:07.620 are the ones that we know
00:20:09.220 are sort of Trump unfriendly,
00:20:11.820 if you know what I mean.
00:20:13.280 So I think that part is hilarious.
00:20:15.160 That's a lot of dogs not barking right now.
00:20:22.320 Everything that we're seeing now
00:20:24.000 seems to be what I call word thinking,
00:20:26.000 where you simply replace
00:20:29.020 the words that fit
00:20:30.960 with your own words
00:20:33.040 and then you act like you said something.
00:20:35.500 For example,
00:20:37.000 when Kyle Rittenhouse
00:20:39.000 shot three people in Kenosha,
00:20:41.840 how is that being described?
00:20:44.340 Well, if you don't like Republicans,
00:20:47.160 you say he was a vigilante,
00:20:49.620 or no,
00:20:50.180 you say he was a
00:20:51.880 a militia member
00:20:53.300 or a white supremacist.
00:20:55.480 There's no indication
00:20:56.680 he was either of those things.
00:20:58.120 No evidence of either of those things.
00:21:00.300 And you say that he
00:21:01.800 killed two protesters.
00:21:06.160 So if you're CNN,
00:21:07.700 that's what he is.
00:21:08.440 He's a militia member
00:21:09.520 or a white supremacist
00:21:11.780 and he killed two protesters.
00:21:13.520 Those poor, innocent protesters.
00:21:15.980 Or if you're Republican,
00:21:17.580 you say he was a patriot
00:21:19.700 who went there
00:21:20.460 to protect people and property,
00:21:22.900 brought his own medical gear
00:21:24.320 to help protesters
00:21:25.360 in case they got shot.
00:21:27.560 And three separate people
00:21:29.800 attacked him
00:21:30.600 and he shot them
00:21:31.580 in self-defense.
00:21:33.380 So he was neither a vigilante,
00:21:35.840 he wasn't going there
00:21:36.940 to hurt anybody,
00:21:38.840 he was actually going there
00:21:39.940 to reduce the amount of
00:21:42.000 damage
00:21:43.980 and maybe the amount of death
00:21:45.760 because he literally
00:21:47.080 brought medical equipment with him.
00:21:49.220 to help.
00:21:50.440 And he even stopped
00:21:51.460 to see if he could help
00:21:52.280 the guy he shot.
00:21:54.320 So, you know,
00:21:55.540 he was closer to a Boy Scout
00:21:57.200 than a white supremacist
00:21:59.600 who wants to go shoot people.
00:22:01.820 But that's the world we live in
00:22:03.440 where Kyle is now,
00:22:06.040 for all practical purposes,
00:22:07.800 he's a political prisoner.
00:22:09.780 Wouldn't you say?
00:22:12.380 Wouldn't you say that Kyle
00:22:13.720 is a political prisoner
00:22:15.200 at this point?
00:22:15.900 Because the video
00:22:17.100 is pretty clear
00:22:19.880 that he was being chased
00:22:22.260 and was at great bodily risk
00:22:25.020 immediately before he was shooting.
00:22:28.400 I mean, that's right on the video,
00:22:29.800 you can just see it.
00:22:31.080 Now the question about
00:22:32.140 the legality of the gun,
00:22:34.160 according to his lawyer
00:22:35.560 who was on Tucker last night,
00:22:37.680 the gun did not cross state lines.
00:22:40.580 He does have a right to have it,
00:22:43.240 it's open carry.
00:22:45.640 It was legal,
00:22:46.480 apparently it was a legal firearm
00:22:47.880 that he had legal right
00:22:49.160 to have in his possession.
00:22:51.180 Now, it may not have been
00:22:52.320 a good idea,
00:22:53.480 which is a separate question,
00:22:55.320 but what we know so far
00:22:57.100 is that no crime
00:22:58.400 was even close
00:22:59.560 to being committed
00:23:00.420 if you take, you know,
00:23:03.080 reasonable doubt
00:23:03.760 as a standard.
00:23:04.880 Because the video
00:23:06.120 has, at the very least,
00:23:08.920 even if you were the most
00:23:10.220 anti-Kyle person
00:23:12.580 in the world,
00:23:13.580 you'd have to admit
00:23:14.600 that the video,
00:23:16.200 at the very least,
00:23:17.800 shows a massive amount
00:23:19.300 of doubt
00:23:20.000 about what happened.
00:23:22.540 And that's all you need
00:23:23.360 to be innocent
00:23:24.200 if there's doubt.
00:23:26.220 And I would say
00:23:27.380 that my interpretation
00:23:28.440 is that it went beyond doubt
00:23:30.140 and that it's obvious
00:23:31.720 that it was self-defense.
00:23:33.020 It's just obvious
00:23:33.700 if you watch the videos.
00:23:36.680 But videos lie,
00:23:38.000 so maybe there's something
00:23:38.860 we don't know.
00:23:41.120 The most ridiculous story
00:23:45.220 is this one about
00:23:47.220 the finding that maybe
00:23:49.720 only 6% of the coronavirus
00:23:52.880 deaths in this country
00:23:54.240 were from people
00:23:55.940 who had no comorbidities.
00:23:58.600 And, in fact,
00:23:59.820 they usually had two or three
00:24:02.020 if they died.
00:24:02.820 Now,
00:24:04.720 people are hailing this
00:24:06.260 as a big insight
00:24:08.320 that changes everything.
00:24:11.200 I don't understand that.
00:24:13.420 This is exactly
00:24:14.660 what I thought
00:24:15.460 was the situation.
00:24:17.080 What did you think
00:24:18.080 was the situation?
00:24:19.600 I thought the situation
00:24:20.980 was if you had comorbidities,
00:24:22.760 you'd be in trouble.
00:24:23.840 If you didn't,
00:24:24.920 you wouldn't be
00:24:25.420 in that much trouble.
00:24:26.560 The risk was low.
00:24:28.120 Did this change anything?
00:24:30.360 I think people are taking
00:24:31.740 the 6% to mean
00:24:33.180 more than it means.
00:24:34.900 Because the whole point
00:24:35.980 of it is
00:24:36.480 that we live in a country
00:24:38.060 where there are just
00:24:38.940 tens of millions of people
00:24:40.680 who have comorbidities.
00:24:42.600 What are they going to do?
00:24:43.860 Stay home?
00:24:45.580 You know,
00:24:46.840 if you just took people
00:24:48.680 who are overweight
00:24:49.440 and said,
00:24:50.260 all right, all right,
00:24:51.300 only the overweight people
00:24:52.780 have to stay home
00:24:54.180 and everybody else
00:24:54.940 can go about their business,
00:24:56.620 that would still be
00:24:57.440 two-thirds of adults.
00:24:58.540 They'd have to stay home.
00:25:00.440 Isn't that something
00:25:01.080 like two-thirds of adults
00:25:02.420 are heavier than
00:25:03.880 they need to be?
00:25:04.880 And then you throw in
00:25:05.840 anything else
00:25:06.560 that they might have
00:25:07.280 like hypertension.
00:25:11.580 I mean,
00:25:12.280 I've got
00:25:13.040 two comorbidities.
00:25:16.120 I'm 63,
00:25:17.620 probably in better shape
00:25:19.260 than, you know,
00:25:19.960 99% of people my age.
00:25:22.060 And even I have
00:25:22.900 two comorbidities.
00:25:24.320 So it's so common.
00:25:25.400 I don't know
00:25:25.740 that it changes anything
00:25:26.700 compared to what
00:25:28.760 we thought was
00:25:29.660 the situation.
00:25:31.660 J.P. Morgan
00:25:32.600 is warning people
00:25:33.740 or alerting them,
00:25:35.580 I guess,
00:25:36.120 that they should be
00:25:37.240 prepared for the
00:25:38.220 rising odds
00:25:39.200 of a Trump win.
00:25:41.180 So they're looking
00:25:41.860 at all the trends
00:25:42.720 and saying,
00:25:43.480 uh,
00:25:43.860 if these trends continue,
00:25:45.240 it looks like
00:25:45.860 it's Trump all the way.
00:25:47.780 So I would argue
00:25:48.800 that the stock market
00:25:49.960 has already built that in.
00:25:51.160 So the predicted model
00:25:53.620 has totally closed
00:25:54.700 the gap
00:25:55.260 to almost statistical tie.
00:25:58.720 The stock market
00:26:00.640 is clearly voting
00:26:01.740 in favor of a
00:26:03.100 Trump win.
00:26:03.960 That's obvious.
00:26:05.380 And now J.P.
00:26:06.740 Morgan is saying
00:26:07.300 it directly.
00:26:08.880 All right.
00:26:11.700 I have an opinion
00:26:13.420 that mental slavery
00:26:15.120 is one of the worst
00:26:16.080 outcomes
00:26:16.660 from systemic
00:26:18.000 racism.
00:26:19.420 and it goes
00:26:21.460 like this.
00:26:22.640 You know,
00:26:22.860 it's been said,
00:26:23.920 people have made
00:26:24.420 the analogy
00:26:24.960 that the black
00:26:26.620 vote usually
00:26:28.660 goes for the Democrats,
00:26:30.300 so that's some kind
00:26:31.200 of a plantation thing.
00:26:32.740 People like to use
00:26:33.420 that imagery.
00:26:34.580 I find that a little
00:26:35.520 offensive,
00:26:36.140 the plantation part
00:26:36.960 of it anyway.
00:26:37.980 So I don't like to use
00:26:39.240 the plantation part.
00:26:40.860 You know,
00:26:41.060 if you're black,
00:26:42.080 you can say that.
00:26:43.400 If you're not black,
00:26:44.480 maybe stay away
00:26:45.140 from that plantation word.
00:26:46.500 It just feels a little
00:26:47.360 icky and
00:26:48.560 inappropriate.
00:26:50.880 But I would say
00:26:53.180 that one of the
00:26:54.180 outcomes of
00:26:54.940 systemic racism
00:26:55.940 that is just
00:26:57.200 100%
00:26:57.980 a big problem
00:26:59.380 is the school
00:27:01.140 systems not being
00:27:02.160 adequate.
00:27:02.780 And of course,
00:27:03.280 it's the teachers'
00:27:04.680 unions that are
00:27:05.220 the cause of
00:27:05.940 all the problems.
00:27:07.540 And because the
00:27:08.120 teachers'
00:27:08.580 unions,
00:27:09.180 you know,
00:27:10.300 perpetuate
00:27:11.000 bad education
00:27:12.520 by removing
00:27:13.440 competition,
00:27:14.520 which would allow
00:27:15.540 it to improve,
00:27:16.180 you end up
00:27:18.700 with
00:27:19.560 black citizens
00:27:21.600 who are
00:27:22.080 undereducated
00:27:23.260 compared to
00:27:24.020 what we would
00:27:25.340 all like to see
00:27:26.120 a better situation.
00:27:28.100 And I think
00:27:28.800 that that also
00:27:29.820 allows them
00:27:31.380 to be duped
00:27:32.260 by Democrats
00:27:33.360 a little bit
00:27:33.980 easier.
00:27:35.140 In other words,
00:27:35.920 your total level
00:27:37.060 of education
00:27:37.760 is one of the
00:27:39.340 things that can
00:27:39.960 protect you.
00:27:41.120 As I said
00:27:42.220 with my other
00:27:42.780 example of
00:27:43.420 my highly
00:27:44.440 educated,
00:27:45.220 smart friend,
00:27:46.700 it took a lot
00:27:47.580 of convincing
00:27:48.100 to convince him
00:27:49.660 that he was
00:27:50.200 watching fake news.
00:27:51.480 But suppose
00:27:52.100 you had a much
00:27:53.140 lower level
00:27:53.800 of education.
00:27:55.120 It would be
00:27:55.600 a lot harder
00:27:56.700 to convince you
00:27:58.800 that you were
00:27:59.240 being fooled.
00:28:00.800 And so,
00:28:01.500 the Democrats
00:28:02.200 take advantage
00:28:03.340 of that situation
00:28:04.240 to feed
00:28:05.880 the black
00:28:06.700 voters
00:28:07.160 ridiculous
00:28:09.000 version of
00:28:10.960 reality
00:28:11.460 in which
00:28:12.640 they're
00:28:13.040 trapped
00:28:13.680 in this
00:28:14.040 world
00:28:14.300 they can't
00:28:14.800 get out
00:28:15.140 of
00:28:15.380 and it's
00:28:16.080 somebody
00:28:16.640 else's
00:28:17.060 fault,
00:28:17.460 I guess.
00:28:18.560 But
00:28:18.820 Kanye,
00:28:22.100 to pick
00:28:23.260 a classic
00:28:24.880 example,
00:28:26.100 or somebody
00:28:26.600 like
00:28:27.000 Sol,
00:28:30.260 you know,
00:28:30.600 economist
00:28:31.080 Sol,
00:28:31.760 or Candace
00:28:32.460 Owens,
00:28:33.700 have seen
00:28:35.760 through the
00:28:36.300 illusion
00:28:36.680 and they can
00:28:38.080 see the
00:28:38.460 open door.
00:28:39.720 And they can
00:28:40.320 see that,
00:28:40.780 okay,
00:28:41.340 sure,
00:28:41.800 maybe not
00:28:42.280 every door
00:28:42.960 is open
00:28:43.520 to every
00:28:44.260 black person
00:28:44.940 in every
00:28:45.320 situation.
00:28:46.680 It's an
00:28:47.500 imperfect
00:28:47.860 system,
00:28:48.540 we need to
00:28:49.000 fix all that
00:28:49.520 stuff too.
00:28:50.580 But there
00:28:50.940 is an
00:28:51.220 open door.
00:28:53.020 If white
00:28:54.260 people have
00:28:54.820 three doors
00:28:55.640 and black
00:28:57.040 people have
00:28:57.620 one or
00:28:58.140 two,
00:28:59.180 you can
00:28:59.580 still all
00:29:00.220 get out.
00:29:01.780 You can
00:29:02.420 still all
00:29:02.960 get out.
00:29:04.180 Because you
00:29:04.800 got a door.
00:29:06.080 Now your
00:29:06.480 door is
00:29:06.900 different than
00:29:07.320 my door
00:29:07.760 maybe,
00:29:08.160 but everybody's
00:29:08.740 got a door.
00:29:09.620 And if you
00:29:09.980 can't see
00:29:10.440 the door,
00:29:11.740 somebody is
00:29:12.500 blinding you
00:29:13.260 to it.
00:29:14.960 And that's
00:29:16.000 the mental
00:29:16.760 slavery part.
00:29:19.400 So right
00:29:20.780 now you're
00:29:21.160 seeing the
00:29:23.400 protesters
00:29:25.260 seemingly in
00:29:27.120 favor of
00:29:27.840 no police
00:29:28.600 protection.
00:29:31.860 That's just
00:29:32.820 the lack
00:29:33.240 of education,
00:29:34.220 isn't it?
00:29:35.060 Anybody who
00:29:35.920 is in favor
00:29:36.620 fear of
00:29:37.640 getting rid
00:29:38.160 of police
00:29:38.700 protection?
00:29:40.180 It's hard
00:29:40.780 to see that
00:29:41.300 as a
00:29:41.640 philosophy.
00:29:43.200 That's not
00:29:43.820 a political
00:29:45.040 opinion.
00:29:46.340 That is
00:29:46.860 just an
00:29:47.440 educational
00:29:49.240 failure,
00:29:49.960 I would
00:29:50.160 say.
00:29:51.020 So a lot
00:29:51.520 of what
00:29:51.920 the protesters
00:29:53.120 are asking
00:29:53.860 for are
00:29:54.360 things that
00:29:54.860 if they
00:29:55.160 got them
00:29:55.600 it would
00:29:55.820 be the
00:29:56.080 worst
00:29:56.300 thing that
00:29:56.660 could
00:29:56.800 possibly
00:29:57.180 happen.
00:29:57.520 It would
00:29:58.180 be the
00:29:58.720 end of
00:29:59.060 everything.
00:30:00.100 And they
00:30:00.600 don't know
00:30:01.020 that.
00:30:01.360 and I
00:30:02.400 think
00:30:02.660 education
00:30:03.260 has a
00:30:03.820 big role
00:30:04.960 in that.
00:30:06.240 Yeah,
00:30:06.480 Thomas Sowell
00:30:07.220 is someone
00:30:08.680 who can
00:30:09.060 see the
00:30:09.420 open door
00:30:09.980 better than
00:30:11.300 most.
00:30:12.800 Larry Elder,
00:30:13.660 another good
00:30:14.060 example,
00:30:14.680 yeah.
00:30:17.040 All right,
00:30:17.920 somebody says
00:30:21.900 not necessarily
00:30:22.760 but I don't
00:30:23.320 know who
00:30:23.620 you're talking
00:30:24.000 about.
00:30:25.480 All right,
00:30:25.960 that's,
00:30:26.600 I don't have
00:30:27.200 much else
00:30:27.640 to say
00:30:27.980 today.
00:30:28.720 It's going
00:30:29.300 to be just
00:30:29.800 a lit
00:30:30.580 totally
00:30:31.760 crazy
00:30:32.300 week.
00:30:35.600 Somebody
00:30:36.080 says their
00:30:36.620 door is
00:30:37.100 locked.
00:30:40.060 All right,
00:30:40.740 I don't
00:30:40.960 have much
00:30:41.360 else today
00:30:41.900 but as
00:30:43.260 everybody
00:30:43.620 has noted
00:30:44.240 this next
00:30:45.060 few months
00:30:45.540 are just
00:30:45.900 going to
00:30:46.100 be so
00:30:46.580 full of
00:30:47.020 news,
00:30:47.400 it's
00:30:47.540 going to
00:30:47.700 be crazy
00:30:48.220 but it
00:30:49.000 looks like
00:30:49.480 for the
00:30:49.900 moment
00:30:50.200 the Trump
00:30:51.460 campaign
00:30:51.960 is just
00:30:52.400 going to
00:30:52.620 let the
00:30:53.080 Democrats
00:30:54.580 have their
00:30:55.200 way,
00:30:56.000 which is
00:30:56.460 burn up
00:30:57.020 their own
00:30:57.360 stuff until
00:30:57.900 there's
00:30:58.140 nothing
00:30:58.360 left.
00:30:59.500 And they
00:31:00.460 think
00:31:00.720 they'll
00:31:00.920 win
00:31:01.100 with
00:31:01.280 that.
00:31:02.980 Maybe.
00:31:04.080 Anything's
00:31:04.620 possible.
00:31:05.720 All right,
00:31:06.160 I'll talk
00:31:06.540 to you
00:31:06.900 later.
