00:02:53.600 In hypnosis, this is also part of the technique.
00:02:56.400 So I'm going to make you feel comfortable
00:02:58.360 with what I'm going to do next as part of the technique.
00:03:01.600 All right, here's some background.
00:03:04.020 I keep hearing from people,
00:03:05.720 and maybe you saw it yesterday,
00:03:07.720 that I had cured them of their Trump derangement syndrome
00:03:12.100 prior to the election in 2016,
00:03:15.040 or in some cases after.
00:03:17.140 And so many people have told me that independently
00:03:20.300 that I thought,
00:03:21.820 huh, there must be something to that.
00:03:24.360 So here people had a specific kind of anxiety,
00:03:27.140 fear that the world would be destroyed
00:03:29.480 by this orange monster.
00:03:32.360 And there's something I did,
00:03:34.340 or some things I did over time,
00:03:36.920 which caused people,
00:03:38.200 and they're telling me,
00:03:39.600 I'm not making this up,
00:03:40.680 this is what they report to me,
00:03:42.560 lots of people,
00:03:43.980 lots of them,
00:03:45.340 lost their anxiety
00:03:47.320 and felt comfortable with the president
00:03:49.620 after they listened to me.
00:03:51.720 So that's one example of where I know,
00:03:54.540 based on reports from lots of people,
00:03:56.560 that they had a specific kind of anxiety
00:03:58.620 that I cured.
00:04:01.880 But I heard an even more interesting example
00:04:05.000 the other day,
00:04:06.140 and it came from somebody
00:04:08.920 who reported having a lifetime of anxiety,
00:04:13.620 crippling mental problem anxiety,
00:04:16.920 the kind that really ruins your life.
00:04:18.980 Now, anxiety disorders take many forms.
00:04:22.040 You could be afraid of,
00:04:23.360 and I may be using the language a little differently
00:04:26.060 than maybe an expert in mental health would.
00:04:28.660 So take it as an approximate.
00:04:31.960 So anxiety would describe somebody out of phobia,
00:04:35.580 fear of the public,
00:04:36.780 fear of danger,
00:04:37.560 fear of this,
00:04:38.220 might describe somebody who had OCD.
00:04:42.020 OCD is kind of anxiety,
00:04:44.020 because you feel,
00:04:44.760 if I don't do this thing ten times
00:04:47.460 or whatever the number is,
00:04:48.920 some bad luck will happen.
00:04:50.700 So it's sort of this general anxiety fear.
00:04:53.960 Many of you probably are experiencing anxiety
00:04:57.140 in the last several years
00:04:58.480 that you had never felt before.
00:05:01.420 And there's something about modern life
00:05:03.120 and about, I don't know,
00:05:04.340 maybe it's about the news business
00:05:06.340 business that gets people worked up.
00:05:08.420 Maybe it's our technology.
00:05:11.260 But whatever it is,
00:05:12.140 there's a gigantic whole ball of different
00:05:15.840 anxiety-related problems that people have.
00:05:19.080 So this one individual told me a few days ago
00:05:22.280 that I had cured a lifetime of anxiety problems.
00:05:27.000 And I thought to myself,

00:05:33.960 And so I asked,

00:06:06.680 that comes from hallucinogenic mushrooms,

00:06:19.060 from PTSD
00:06:20.180 to all kinds of stuff
00:06:22.160 and almost instantly.

00:06:27.260 in some cases,
00:06:28.240 is curing people
00:06:29.120 of a lifetime of mental problems.
00:06:31.260 And there's so much of that
00:06:32.520 and there's so many stories of it
00:06:33.980 that it's considered
00:06:35.360 one of the most exciting fields
00:06:37.420 in mental health.

00:06:48.560 one of my most meaningful experiences.

00:06:52.600 other people's experience,
00:06:54.140 and the most common thing
00:06:55.360 that people say
00:06:56.200 is that
00:06:57.620 they describe it as
00:06:59.780 ego death.
00:07:03.760 Ego death.
00:07:05.000 Now if you've never experienced
00:07:07.780 ego death,
00:07:08.660 and you've never experienced
00:07:09.720 any kind of
00:07:10.260 hallucinogenic experience at all,
00:07:12.880 that doesn't mean anything to you.

00:07:18.220 what does that even mean?
00:07:20.180 So everybody probably has
00:07:21.660 sort of a personal experience
00:07:23.340 that they tend to describe that way.

00:08:05.220 for persuading,
00:08:06.200 as I often say,
00:08:07.140 but they're good for
00:08:07.920 explaining a new concept.
00:08:09.640 So here's the new concept.
00:08:11.440 Suppose I said to you,

00:10:46.060 The way that you get to that
00:10:47.540 is by being
00:10:48.720 in the hallucinogenic experience.
