00:00:00.480 Recently, our company's softball team lost the big game by one run.
00:00:04.800 Then Dale tried to console us with the quote,
00:00:07.200 winning isn't everything.

00:00:12.740 I get early payout from Bet365.

00:00:48.240 Yes, yes, yes.
00:00:50.700 Interesting.
00:00:52.980 Tell me who you see.
00:00:56.260 Oh, bookish.
00:00:57.520 Good morning.
00:00:59.160 It's like it's Gracie.
00:01:01.200 Gracie's first.
00:01:03.580 Sorry, you guys.
00:01:04.460 I didn't pre-start the show.
00:01:06.760 So we have to, we're just going to kill some time so everybody could come in, which is
00:01:11.160 fine.
00:01:11.800 And we have Jeff today.
00:01:13.920 So good.
00:01:15.720 He's hello.
00:01:17.420 So you know what?
00:01:18.260 Maybe I'll impress you now, Jeff, while we're waiting for people to come in.
00:01:21.720 Okay.
00:01:22.160 So, you know, Jeff is a gardener and a chicken egg raiser.
00:01:29.860 Yep.
00:01:31.020 Chicken daddy.
00:01:32.060 Chicken daddy.
00:01:33.180 Technical term.
00:01:33.840 Daddy.
00:01:34.880 So, look, I didn't get zucchini.
00:01:37.760 I didn't think I was going to get any because I only have one plant and whatever.
00:01:41.080 But look at my zucchini.
00:01:44.000 That is impressive.
00:01:46.120 Wait, there's more.
00:01:47.780 Let me turn.
00:01:48.280 Let me hit this.
00:01:49.220 You just made a meme, Erica.
00:01:52.160 Oh, I'm about to make another one.
00:01:54.080 The zucchini that launched a thousand memes.
00:01:56.880 Wait till you see my cucumber.
00:02:00.740 Whoa.
00:02:01.540 My goodness.
00:02:03.260 And that is against my giant Zoshirushi bottle.
00:02:06.580 Look, they're like the same.
00:02:08.780 Is that crazy?
00:02:10.460 The next level out is going to be like the planet Saturn.
00:02:14.200 But look at these.
00:02:16.340 I mean, the cucumber will.
00:02:18.680 Go ahead.
00:02:20.220 Screenshot.
00:02:20.700 that's that's a thumbnail right there but the cucumber won't be good it's way too big i didn't
00:02:27.120 see it it was at the bottom of the plant covered by the leaves and i'm like why wouldn't it be
00:02:31.360 good because it's big it's too big like they get like it's never too big but anyways there's your
00:02:37.780 meme people thank you marcella oh my gosh somebody already made one oh jesus yep you should be very
00:02:48.880 proud i am proud i feel like if i was in 4-h i would win something that's just me but i i really
00:02:56.140 wanted to impress jeff that i could i too can grow something yay you absolutely can yes very
00:03:02.320 impressive oh so i think that gave us enough time for everybody to come in and let's get to the sip
00:03:09.380 i'm guessing you're going to probably have a lot of the day that's what would be the best way
00:03:13.800 to get your day off to a great start.
00:03:16.940 Yeah, that's right.
00:03:18.380 It's the simultaneous sip.
00:03:19.640 You got it right on the first try.
00:03:21.440 And all you need is a cup or mug or a glass of tank or chalice or stein,
00:03:24.620 a canteen, jerk or flask, a vessel of any kind.
00:03:27.640 Fill it with your favorite liquid.
00:03:28.920 I like coffee.
00:03:30.780 And join me now for the unparalleled pleasure,
00:03:33.000 the dopamine hit of the day,
00:03:34.940 the thing that makes everything better
00:03:37.360 except apparently the smoke in California.
00:03:40.080 And it's called the simultaneous sip and it happens.
00:03:43.800 Now, go.
00:03:49.760 Mmm.
00:03:50.900 Was that delightful?
00:03:52.280 Oh, and what were you saying?
00:03:53.300 I'm sorry.
00:03:54.240 It was.
00:03:54.840 No, I was just about to say that I think you're going to end up having a lot more zucchini
00:03:58.040 and a lot more cucumber if you don't already.
00:04:00.800 But I have so many zucchini in my fridge.
00:04:04.760 I don't know what to do.
00:04:06.000 I don't know what to do with it.
00:04:07.540 I have to get it.
00:04:08.240 It's traditional to chuck them at cars when you have too many.
00:04:10.900 That's the traditional thing.
00:04:12.280 Don't because I will.
00:04:13.320 i like i love mischief so if anyone ever wants to go out with me on mischief night i ask every year
00:04:19.920 mischief night is the night before halloween here in america and you're supposed to go not you're
00:04:25.640 supposed to but you go out and you create just a little bit of light mischief like a toilet paper
00:04:29.700 someone's car and stuff like that but i love that stuff so yeah i just i think you you you also just
00:04:37.360 have to really be diligent about harvesting them. Because if you forget about a zucchini
00:04:43.580 and you come back a week or two later, you've got baseball bats.
00:04:48.060 A week? Talk about a day. The growth overnight. I only have one plant, but it's fine. It's all
00:04:53.900 good. You guys in the chat are so funny. Okay. So don't ask me why. Oh, by the way, good morning.
00:05:02.460 I'm Erica. You're at the Scott Adams School. So sorry. And I'm joined today by my two
00:05:09.800 extraordinary co-hosts, Marcella and Owen. And our favorite cousin, Jeff Callahan, is back to
00:05:16.900 co-host with us today, which we love. Always good to be here.
00:05:20.460 Thanks, Jeff. Oh my God, the memes are starting. It's hilarious. Okay. So I came across a little
00:05:29.080 clip yesterday and i kept going like i was so confused i don't know why and i was so disturbed 0.99
00:05:35.720 that i thought i think the sippers would like this too like who doesn't want to be confused
00:05:40.280 and disturbed right um so i just wanted to play this clip for you this is the
00:05:45.720 the Austrian tongue choir, yes, I said tongue, performing Moscow Nights in 1982.
00:06:15.720 they kind of look a lot like our congress and senate don't they anyway it's so weird i was
00:06:27.720 like what the heck is happening here with these serious faces have any of you ever been in a tongue
00:06:32.160 choir i have not i haven't had the pleasure it looks like it's male exclusive and everybody had
00:06:41.420 like a different technique and a thing I think I saw one guy that wasn't doing anything I think
00:06:46.600 he might have been humming is what I was thinking he might have been wandered into the wrong room
00:06:52.120 he was the hummer of the tongue choir oh my gosh okay you guys who had who had the best tongue
00:06:58.780 technique the old guy with the serious face yeah that guy yeah years of experience yep yep I know
00:07:08.740 he's probably been doing that for a long time. So anyway, you guys, there actually is no theme
00:07:14.820 to this show. It just started off really strange. So anyway. Oh my gosh. Okay, you guys. So on a
00:07:22.640 more serious note, for real, let's get to some news. So did you know that there was a potential
00:07:30.860 assassin thwart yesterday? Take a listen to this. Poor President Trump. Let's take a listen.
00:07:38.740 for real. Man arrested outside Trump's Los Angeles golf course, which is in Palos Verdes,
00:07:45.100 right on the ocean. It happened Sunday, just ahead of the president's visit there this week.
00:07:52.000 38-year-old Janine John Tayel is the name. Janine John Tayel. Potential trans, we don't know.
00:08:02.560 Allegedly taking photos and videos of the club, appearing to monitor security. He was found to 0.77
00:08:07.700 TO BE CARRYING HOLLOW-POINT
00:08:08.800 AMMUNITION WITH A LOADED WEAPON
00:08:10.140 IN HIS CAR.
00:08:11.380 SEARCH OF HIS HOME FOUND MORE
00:08:12.560 WEAPONS, BODY ARMOR, HIGH
00:08:13.960 CAPACITY AMMUNITION MAGAZINES,
00:08:16.140 AND NOTEBOOKS THAT POLICE SAY
00:08:17.360 HAD CONCERNING STATEMENTS.
00:08:18.660 Amy, THIS WAS JUST LIKE WHAT WE
00:08:20.800 SAW AT THE WEST PALM BEACH GOLF
00:08:22.940 CLUB THAT THE PRESIDENT PLAYS
00:08:24.140 IN THE WINTER. 0.90
00:08:25.000 YOU HAD THE GUY STAKED OUT THERE
00:08:26.320 WAITING, AND THEY JUST CAUGHT
00:08:28.600 HIM RIGHT BEFORE THE PRESIDENT
00:08:29.400 GOT TO THAT HOLE AND STOPPED HIM
00:08:30.880 FROM BEING SHOT.
00:08:31.900 IT SOUNDS LIKE POTENTIALLY
00:08:32.800 ANOTHER CASE OF THAT. 0.99
00:08:33.840 Yeah, this is absolutely ridiculous. I mean, here we are on the heels of the White House 0.96
00:08:37.680 Correspondents' Dinner, where they could have had a potential assassination. You've got Mar-a-Lago,
00:08:43.160 you've got Butler. I mean, we are looking at a president with some of the most assassination
00:08:47.900 attempts on his life. And this is just showing us where we have gotten in this country. It's
00:08:52.560 absolutely ridiculous. We've got so much violent rhetoric that is coming from the leftists in the 0.99
00:08:57.160 media, Democrat leaders themselves. And it is time for these people to be held accountable
00:09:01.580 because their words have consequences and we're seeing that time and time again it's a miracle
00:09:06.820 that he's still alive it is the truth it really is um amy thanks so much we appreciate it we'll
00:09:13.000 follow the breaking news of course i agree it is a miracle he's still alive i never just we're at
00:09:20.480 like peak insanity in this country um jeff as our guest i'll come to you first i mean you know
00:09:27.440 I can't imagine being anyone even in the administration walking around, even Trump's
00:09:33.740 family and his closest administration, like Rubio and everybody, Stephen Miller, I would
00:09:40.900 imagine. But what are we doing? Yeah, it's like, what are we even doing here? It's getting to the
00:09:47.380 point where you just lose count of the near misses and the really near misses, right? And
00:09:55.640 you know thinking about i mean i've said this before i think i've said this before on this
00:10:00.520 show like like the rhetoric that uh people on on the left um typically espouse is uh very
00:10:10.640 very much um stochastic terrorism in some cases where they are uh making all these very thinly
00:10:20.380 veiled references to trump um let's just say having really bad health problems imposed by
00:10:27.580 another person right and this has been on repeat for 10 years 11 years however long at this point
00:10:34.640 and of course you're going to get some segment of the population that can't deal with it and
00:10:42.820 and snaps and starts taking pictures of security walking around golf courses gets body armor
00:10:48.780 hollow points uh and just a what what looks like an an orgy of evidence at their uh at their place
00:10:57.660 of residence um and kind of the larger issue is and i never heard this talked about is if you are
00:11:05.240 a person who is notable and famous just by virtue of people knowing you there's going to be a
00:11:12.140 fraction of a percentage that wants to do you harm and it has nothing to do with what you say
00:11:16.560 that's what people don't realize uh now take trump who is probably the most famous person
00:11:21.260 in history uh and then take media the media layer on top of it on on the left uh you are
00:11:29.140 tipping people who ordinarily would probably just be shrugging and instead they're loading guns
00:11:35.180 and uh yeah it's it's it's an incredibly scary situation um but shout out to law enforcement for
00:11:42.200 uh you know snapping this guy up and saying like look what are you doing what are you doing out
00:11:47.720 here taking pictures what are you doing like let's look at your residence and and uh seeing that oh
00:11:52.600 turns out there's a lot of stuff there uh and so really important that we stay very vigilant uh in
00:11:57.920 these crazy times i agree marcella i don't know that they found found out that this person's
00:12:04.000 trans i think maybe he just had the name janine i'm not sure yet but nothing surprises me anymore
00:12:09.880 no you know they showed a picture of him he didn't the picture they showed didn't look
00:12:14.840 trans but you know maybe trans is like a feeling so i don't know and it also might be that if he
00:12:22.040 was named janine by his family maybe there's an issue uh that he's had for a long time um a lot
00:12:29.640 of these people are are just obsessed uh and the press and mental health is a major issue um
00:12:41.240 you never know um but i'm glad he was caught and one of the things that that president trump
00:12:48.040 is like that he was asked why like he was going to do the event um you know still going ahead with
00:12:56.360 it he's like why wouldn't i do this he also said that it gives him solace because what people are
00:13:04.480 trying to stop him is because he's consequential yeah i have that so yeah yeah so that i loved um
00:13:10.720 you can never stop never stop the trumper so oh i love him yeah i mean to me this is just a
00:13:19.040 continuation i know we've talked about this a number of times before it's it is all true that 0.99
00:13:23.820 they're causing people to do this with the rhetoric. The media is behind a lot of this
00:13:28.620 as far as the root cause in my estimation. You're going to have some element of people that are
00:13:35.780 mentally ill or over the edge enough that they're going to take action on it. And by now, they can't
00:13:42.260 say they don't know. They can't claim ignorance. They're doing it on purpose. And if they continue
00:13:48.460 to do it, they're again doing it on purpose and they're hoping it'll happen. And I do think that
00:13:53.100 Trump is such a unique personality and a force of nature that it does make him more susceptible to
00:13:59.820 this than many past presidents or other politicians, because a lot of other politicians are kind of
00:14:06.120 like replaceable. Like, you know, if you got rid of some of the past presidents, it's like the
00:14:12.040 vice president would be pretty much the same. And, you know, you wouldn't necessarily get a better
00:14:16.460 result and and or a different result and it would kind of just be because in most cases in the past
00:14:23.260 the president was just a a voice for the party it would just do what the party wanted and so if you
00:14:30.420 took that person out and put someone else in it would be pretty much the same i mean certainly
00:14:34.500 that was true with biden because he wasn't even really there to be the voice but um in many cases
00:14:40.340 it's just like that but it's not with trump right if if trump was killed that would be a massive
00:14:46.200 difference. And, you know, whether it was Vance, you know, that took over, like that would just
00:14:51.860 change a lot. And I don't know whether the left would like it more or less because he may end up
00:14:58.380 being even more conservative in some cases than Trump is. Because I frankly think Trump is kind
00:15:02.980 of liberal, at least according to the, you know, definition from the 80s and 90s of what a liberal
00:15:09.180 would be. Vance might not be that way, you know, so they may actually get something worse than
00:15:14.460 they're hoping for this. But I think it certainly would be a difference, right? Because you wouldn't
00:15:21.700 necessarily have that Trump personality, that Trump persuasion, all the things Scott has talked
00:15:25.680 about that makes Trump so exceptional. And so I think that also makes him a target. And I think
00:15:31.180 there are maybe a few personalities on the left that are like that Mom Donnie comes to mind,
00:15:36.140 but very few, right? Most of them are just interchangeable. They're all saying the same
00:15:40.900 stuff you wouldn't it wouldn't really matter if you got rid of one of them because you would just
00:15:45.360 plug in another one it would be the same and that's even true for some of these radical dsa
00:15:49.140 people you know they're all kind of just saying the same thing talking to the same platform it's
00:15:53.820 not about the person it's just about the platform and the party and what's behind that so i think
00:15:59.240 that makes it an even bigger threat and we need to be very careful about it and i'm hoping he does
00:16:03.380 have great secret service protection and that we're on top of it from the fbi and it does seem
00:16:07.520 like they're doing a pretty good job so far, knock on wood, but you know, this is probably
00:16:11.980 going to keep happening, unfortunately. And I hope I will stop, but I don't really expect them to.
00:16:17.160 They're doing a good job until they're not one time, God forbid. So, you know, you pray for that.
00:16:23.300 And I, and I want to say, you know, Janine isn't a fully unusual name for a man, but the reason why
00:16:29.780 you, you just tend to think trans is because there's been so many trans terrorists, um,
00:16:35.600 and shooters so it's not unusual to to think that and i was looking at your you know you guys your
00:16:42.280 comments and yeah the media owen is so culpable in all of this and they just fuel it even with
00:16:51.680 their their their expressions the questions they ask the way they disrespect anyone in this
00:16:58.440 administration when they're talking like we just saw dana bash so disrespectful to uh rfkj the
00:17:05.440 other day, and it's like, wow, where do you get off? And it just makes people that hate the Trump
00:17:11.900 administration hate them even more and feel like they have reason to, because look, the media does
00:17:16.720 too, and I want to be on the side of these people. So it's scary. Now, Trump did respond, like
00:17:22.940 Marcella said, that he's consequential, but he also took the opportunity to just say one quick
00:17:28.560 thing and move on to talk about Iran. So we're going to pivot to just try to do an Iran update
00:17:35.300 It's impossible. But let's listen to President Trump and then we'll go to Marcella on the other
00:17:42.480 side. There was a threat. There was a man who was arrested, seemed to be heavily armed near
00:17:47.180 the property here on Sunday. Is it it's an ongoing concern, sir? Talk about that for a brief few.
00:17:53.100 Well, the only thing I get a little solace from is they say only consequential presidents. And I
00:17:59.320 am definitely consequential. I mean, if you look at the economy, if you look at what's happening,
00:18:03.820 Iran, as an example, will never have a nuclear weapon.
00:18:06.700 They already can, but it's going to be formal.
00:18:09.740 The straits are going to be open very soon,
00:18:11.600 or they're going to get hit very hard, and then the straits are going to be open.
00:18:15.320 We were going to a tremendous attack, the biggest since World War II,
00:18:19.000 and they called me and said, very politely,
00:18:22.540 please, can we talk, can we talk?
00:18:24.120 They didn't want.
00:18:25.420 And I said, yes, we can talk.
00:18:28.080 Let's get it done, finally.
00:18:29.740 Let's get it done.
00:18:30.480 And this should have been done by other presidents for 50 years.
00:18:34.020 You know, you keep hearing 47, but that's been for three years now.
00:18:36.780 It's been over 50 years.
00:18:38.940 Other presidents or other countries should have been able to do this.
00:18:42.320 And I did something that I had to do, because if they had a nuclear weapon, this whole world would be a different place.
00:18:48.380 If they back out again, are they done?
00:18:50.380 Well, if they back out again, they're going to get hit really hard.
00:18:53.720 You know, they know that.
00:18:54.660 They understand that.
00:18:56.840 I have no choice.
00:18:57.840 They can't have a nuclear weapon.
00:18:59.000 It's very simple.
00:18:59.460 It's not like, gee, let's, you know, think about something else.
00:19:02.600 No, it should have been done by many presidents over many years, and it wasn't.
00:19:08.280 And I'm doing it.
00:19:09.560 Obama was taken to the cleaners.
00:19:11.160 He thought he could bribe his way out. 1.00
00:19:12.640 He gave them billions, tens of billions of dollars, so stupidly. 0.99
00:19:16.720 $1.7 billion in cash, green cash, on a Boeing 757, an airplane, loaded up with cash. 1.00
00:19:24.100 They probably looked at it.
00:19:25.080 They said, you've got to be kidding.
00:19:27.120 No, you can't bribe your way out.
00:19:28.620 All you can do is fight your way out.
00:19:30.780 And if they didn't, they wouldn't be talking if we weren't doing what we're doing.
00:19:34.480 We hit them very, very hard.
00:19:35.960 But the hard hit is yet to come.
00:19:38.480 And hopefully we won't have to use it.
00:19:40.100 I hope we won't have to.
00:19:41.080 We're having very good discussions.
00:19:42.580 They don't like to admit that.
00:19:43.720 But, you know, it's a little bit disconcerting.
00:19:47.340 You tell people like you, we're having wonderful discussions.
00:19:50.400 And then some guy will come out of Iran and say, we have not met.
00:19:53.680 We have not.
00:19:54.440 Just until I, all day long, you understand.
00:19:57.020 It's just incredible.
00:19:58.460 They'll say, we didn't talk about nuclear.
00:20:00.340 Well, what did we talk about?
00:20:01.440 We're sitting there twiddling our thumbs, right?
00:20:04.200 So, but it doesn't matter.
00:20:06.140 Let's talk.
00:20:07.500 The only thing that matters is action.
00:20:09.360 And they want to make a deal.
00:20:11.020 We'll see what happens.
00:20:11.800 If they don't make a deal, it's going to be too bad.
00:20:17.860 Okay, so, Marcela, I'll just let you take it because there's really nothing to queue
00:20:22.800 up for you on this.
00:20:23.840 Just what are we doing?
00:20:24.680 so iran keeps saying that there is no talks with the u.s and then trump president trump is always
00:20:34.600 saying there's talks um and there's a deal coming i'm not sure who is doing what but it does create
00:20:42.600 um intrigue because in iran you know it's a new government new people you know maybe somebody is
00:20:50.820 talking to him. You know, it kind of creates this intrigue that kind of splits them apart,
00:20:55.860 which is great. It's part of his persuasion. Then we can't really believe what Iran says
00:21:02.140 anyways, because what they're doing it is for their audience. But what we do know is that Iran 0.82
00:21:08.000 and Oman, the country of Oman, are having talks in regards to the Strait of Hormuz. And both
00:21:15.740 countries are saying that there's positive progress but the positive progress quote unquote
00:21:22.300 is that under the there's an emerging framework that they're creating the vessels entering the
00:21:28.000 persian gulf would use the channel control by iran and with those near the near oman and so
00:21:37.340 everything's obviously going to have to go through all the other countries and i'm sure the other
00:21:44.340 countries are not gonna like that iran is controlling any channel whatsoever because
00:21:49.680 before the war there was no control um however the it's progressing in the positive direction
00:21:56.020 because the markets were really high yesterday and i don't mean uh they were doing really great
00:22:04.160 most of it was ai related but the oil market is going down in prices so because they're it's
00:22:12.100 positive um but again we always have this thing where in the middle of the week we have a deal
00:22:18.580 talks and then right when the oil market closes trump goes oh we might drop some bombs so you know
00:22:27.940 it is what it is okay so good good synopsis here so i'm going to play one more clip this is from
00:22:36.340 trey yanks this morning so let's hear what his like official narrative is and then um owen i'll
00:22:42.320 come to you first and then jeff an announcement that could come as soon as today chief foreign
00:22:47.240 correspondent trey yanks joins us live in tel aviv with the details trey yeah hey guys good
00:22:53.660 morning president trump indicated that a deal with iran could happen as early as today speaking
00:22:59.160 with fox news the president said that talks took place all day on tuesday and that things are
00:23:04.540 looking very good. He told Trace Gallagher what will happen if the Iranians back out of this
00:23:09.600 agreement. Other presidents or other countries should have been able to do this. And I did 0.66
00:23:15.240 something that I had to do because if they had a nuclear weapon, this whole world would be a
00:23:19.780 different place. If they back out again, are they done? Well, if they back out again, they're going
00:23:24.280 to get hit really hard. You know, they know that. They understand that. I have no choice. They can't
00:23:30.300 have a nuclear weapon. It's very simple. The focus remains on the Strait of Hormuz,
00:23:35.300 a critical international waterway that handles roughly 20 percent of the world's oil and LNG
00:23:40.280 trade. CENTCOM released a statement saying the southern route through the Strait of Hormuz remains
00:23:44.680 free and open for all commercial vessels seeking to transit the international waterway. The statement
00:23:49.760 goes on to say over the past three months, U.S. forces have assisted more than 1,000 vessels in
00:23:54.420 successfully transiting the strait despite unwarranted Iranian aggression, and these
00:23:58.800 transits continue today. Right now, talks are ongoing between Iran and Oman, aimed at reaching
00:24:04.320 an understanding on control of the strait. The issue remains a primary objective, even for Iranian 0.58
00:24:09.740 civilians speaking about the conflict. We must definitely keep the strait of our moves at any
00:24:16.080 cost. We should never abandon it, and we should never back down, even if they make harsh threats
00:24:21.160 against us, even if they threaten to launch a ground or air attack against our country.
00:24:26.600 Recently, our company's softball team lost the big game by one run.
00:24:30.920 Then Dale tried to console us with the quote,
00:24:33.340 winning isn't everything.
00:24:35.200 Well, Dale and I are very different.
00:24:38.880 I get early payout from Bet365.
00:24:40.960 If my team goes up big, I get paid out instantly,
00:24:43.620 even if they blow the lead later.
00:24:45.600 Sound familiar, Dale?
00:24:47.360 Thanks, Bet365.

00:24:58.260 We're also tracking reports of explosions in Dubai
00:25:01.380 that sits along the Persian Gulf.
00:25:03.140 It's unclear if this was an Iranian attack or something else.
00:25:06.440 Guys, Trey Ying's live for us in Tel Aviv.
00:25:08.260 Trey, thank you.
00:25:09.840 The feds arresting in... 1.00
00:25:11.300 Wow, imagine, you know, you're an Iranian civilian 0.99
00:25:14.940 and you're just like, yeah, even if they launch, you know, 1.00
00:25:19.540 weapons at us and ground attacks, we should never give that up.
00:25:22.560 that's pretty courageous and amazing. And is it propaganda? I don't know. Owen,
00:25:27.540 what do you think? Yeah, probably. I mean, I think everything you hear out of this is probably
00:25:33.940 propaganda, depending, you know, no matter who's talking. But I think to me, it's the context I
00:25:40.120 would put around it is it's more of the same. It's still Schrodinger's war. You don't really
00:25:43.620 know what's happening or what's going to happen next. And the way I would look at this particular
00:25:48.640 thing is, oh, there's a deal. It might happen today or tomorrow, but they also specified it's
00:25:53.360 a deal to open the Strait of Hormuz. It's not a deal to end the war. It's not a deal to give up
00:25:59.340 nuclear weapons. It's just to open the Strait of Hormuz. And so this is just like one more step
00:26:04.440 in the process. And it's really just like a step that they've been taking back and forth for weeks
00:26:09.100 or months now. So I don't really see this being the end. I wish it was. I'd love it to be the end,
00:26:14.960 But it doesn't really seem like it's heading in that direction right now.
00:26:19.720 And I really personally wouldn't expect this to last.
00:26:24.740 You know, they may make some deal and they may say, OK, now the Strader Hormuz is open.
00:26:29.320 But we've seen this probably half a dozen times already where they've said, OK, it's open now.
00:26:33.160 And then some ship gets hit by somebody.
00:26:36.020 So I don't really trust this.
00:26:38.620 So, Owen, I have a question for you, just if you can answer it.
00:26:41.780 So I'm looking in the chat.
00:26:43.380 So for the people that say, like, never underestimate Trump, you know, 4D chess, how do you feel about that?
00:26:52.140 Well, I mean, I do trust Trump and I think he's the best person to make these kinds of deals of any president we've had in recent history.
00:26:59.760 But at the same time, I think this is just a really difficult situation.
00:27:04.340 It's not like Venezuela where you can just go in and do whatever you want.
00:27:08.500 It's not even probably as simple as Israel and Gaza.
00:27:11.360 I think this is a very difficult situation. And I think it's the reason why most other presidents
00:27:16.160 have shied away from really doing anything. And it probably was also why when we originally took
00:27:21.820 action, it was just to drop some bombs and take out a nuclear facility as opposed to trying to
00:27:26.060 do this sustained war sort of thing. I think it's a very difficult geography to deal with
00:27:31.040 in terms of doing any kind of ground invasion or holding any kind of territory. And when you can't
00:27:37.440 do that or it's very difficult to do that then you're you're stuck with just what bombs can we
00:27:41.900 drop and what damage can we do but then you can't sustain it you can't hold it you can't really
00:27:46.980 take over or do anything like what we did in Iraq where it was relatively easy but I think that's
00:27:52.820 because the geography was so different and the military wasn't as strong as it is in Iran but
00:27:57.460 I just think it is a difficult situation it would have been a difficult situation no matter who
00:28:02.620 was trying to do it. And we can all debate whether or not we should have ever done it to begin with,
00:28:08.020 but we're here. We're doing it now. So I think it is important to finish the job in terms of
00:28:14.100 making sure there isn't going to be a nuclear weapon anytime soon. So I get that, but I also
00:28:18.580 really would love it to be over. So I think it'll get there soon. Yeah. So Jeff, I don't know,
00:28:25.900 you know, and I'm not trying to put you on the spot because you might not know this either,
00:28:28.880 But I mean, I heard that we're just about out of missiles and this and that, like we have really depleted what we have.
00:28:38.460 And, you know, and then Trump's like, you know, we're really going to get them this time.
00:28:42.540 And we're you know, we're going to really unleash on them.
00:28:44.660 Like, so what kind of bombs do we have left?
00:28:47.600 I'm thinking I know of one massive one.
00:28:50.060 I can't imagine the one you don't want to use.
00:28:53.180 Yeah. So I'm just like, you know, just what's your overall opinion on this topic?
00:28:58.880 Yeah, and we need to fact check this, but I'm fairly confident that I saw Pete Hegseth quote tweet a CNN screenshot where they were referencing the stockpile amount, and he said that that was false.
00:29:13.100 Um, and, and so my, my hunch is that, uh, probably any, any number that you hear of
00:29:22.340 like, Oh, we're, we've depleted 60% of our thing.
00:29:25.120 Like my guess is that's probably not accurate.
00:29:28.480 Right.
00:29:29.220 Um, but the larger point that I think is important to keep in mind is simply that
00:29:34.960 and not, I'll be the first to tell you, I'm not super across all the Iran stuff, but it
00:29:41.260 strikes me that you have the irgc and then you have whatever government they have government
00:29:48.480 government remnants like the fourth stringers right and so it it is a very difficult situation
00:29:55.860 trying to negotiate with that government and then you have the irgc just running around uh shooting
00:30:01.960 bazookas and drones and you know kind of whatever they happen to have lying around at ships that
00:30:07.740 trying to transit the straight and four moose uh and and so i think we're sort of caught in the
00:30:13.180 cycle where we we make some sort of shaky deal someone sticks their finger in the pie and ruins
00:30:20.600 it uh that may not even be part of the negotiation you know uh sort of segment of of the government
00:30:28.660 right um i what i will say though is is trump's a trump's a merchant right he wrote art of the deal
00:30:36.500 he loves making deals like if you left him out in nature he would just be like making deals with
00:30:41.680 squirrels and and turtles in the forest right uh and so it's what he does and this is like the
00:30:47.440 ultimate deal of his entire career until the next biggest thing happens right and so he he's the
00:30:53.960 right person in the right chair and you know whether or not you agree with the war um when
00:31:00.580 if you're already there you you need to finish it get it done so that you can focus on domestic
00:31:07.800 matters as quickly as possible uh especially we have the midterms coming up i know we would like
00:31:13.480 see gas prices come down uh anything anything to help uh in the in the midterms and so it's
00:31:21.160 going to be interesting to see how it all shakes out but as scott would always say
00:31:24.940 fog of war. There's always a lot of, uh, half truths and the concealments. And, uh,
00:31:32.420 we won't really know the whole story until five or 10 or 20 years down the line.
00:31:37.380 Yeah, probably right. Um, so just cause you brought that up with, um, the prices of things.
00:31:45.440 So I was saying to you guys yesterday that I feel like the Democrat socialists of America,
00:31:51.100 the DSA, let's just call them the Democrat party now. I feel like, so I'm pivoting,
00:31:58.800 we're pivoting from Iran because there's nothing left on that. So I feel like their message is 1.00
00:32:04.660 getting across to people because I was saying yesterday, they're talking about the issues that
00:32:09.880 are affecting everyday Americans, whether their solutions are right or not, they're talking about
00:32:15.120 it. And they're like, you know, we got to make everything fair and prices have to come down and
00:32:21.120 everyone's going to have free this and free that, which we know is just insanity. And they're not
00:32:26.220 socialists. They're pushing a communist agenda. Um, I was listening, let's just listen to this
00:32:33.340 clip and then, um, Marcella, I'm coming to you. Uh, I just think that it's dangerous that we're
00:32:41.260 not talking enough, let's say, I don't even want to say we, the Republicans aren't talking enough
00:32:45.840 about our economy and the reality of it. I feel like we're so distracted by so many things. And
00:32:53.020 with elections going on and the socialists winning their primaries, it's crucial that
00:33:00.540 they pivot now and just talk about America and Americans. But let's take a listen.
00:33:06.320 A LOT OF THESE YOUNG PEOPLE SEE 0.89
00:33:09.500 IN HIM IS A LOT OF THE SAME THING 0.96
00:33:11.080 THAT THEY SAW, IT SOUNDS LIKE, IN
00:33:12.640 ZORON MAMDANI.
00:33:13.600 AND WHILE A LOT OF PEOPLE KIND
00:33:15.320 OF LAUGHED HIM OFF ORIGINALLY, HE
00:33:17.040 IS NOW THE MAYOR OF NEW YORK
00:33:18.460 CITY.
00:33:18.960 AND I THINK WHAT YOU'RE SEEING
00:33:20.880 HAPPEN IS WITH THESE DSA AND 0.71
00:33:23.080 SOCIALIST CANDIDATES, THEY ARE
00:33:24.820 SPEAKING TO THE ISSUES THAT A LOT 0.66
00:33:27.020 OF THESE YOUNG AMERICANS HAVE 0.57
00:33:29.240 RIGHT NOW. 0.88
00:33:29.640 NOW THE PROBLEM IS THEIR
00:33:30.840 SOLUTIONS, OF COURSE, ARE
00:33:31.760 TERRIBLE.
00:33:32.180 BUT THEY FEEL HEARD AND THEY FEEL
00:33:34.360 SEEN.
00:33:34.820 And he's a cool guy. And unfortunately for Haley Stevens, she's got a bit of an accent and she kind of gets made fun of a lot of times online. 0.98
00:33:42.140 So it hasn't really done her any favors. But he seems to be the one with the energy behind him.
00:33:47.540 You know, it's so interesting because you watch what's going on with the strongest voices in the Democratic Party, John.
00:33:56.380 You watch what's going on with the strongest voices of the Democratic Party, Marcella.
00:34:00.540 So I guess the strongest voices now are the AOCs and then the old establishment people don't even they don't even know what they stand for anymore because they're so intimidated by the socialists that they're all pivoting to pretend now that, you know, socialism is it's fine.
00:34:18.000 You know, it's not communism. But I feel like there's not enough focus on Americans from the Republican Party.
00:34:26.260 What do you think?
00:34:27.960 So they are the the Democratic Party is kind of facing the same thing
00:34:32.560 the Republican Party was facing with MAGA.
00:34:35.000 However, I would argue that it's different.
00:34:37.600 The Tea Party, MAGA or whatever, we didn't want to, like,
00:34:40.900 get rid of the Senate and all the laws and all sorts of things.
00:34:46.220 But for example, in Michigan, Haley Stevens was the primary candidate
00:34:50.860 for the Democratic Party for the Senate, going against Abdul Sayyad,
00:34:56.260 And she was the, like the, the, the, the moderate, I guess, candidate.
00:35:03.400 And you see there Fox called it at like seven, my time, 10 AM your time, um, for
00:35:12.100 Abdul El-Sayed and so basically you see them imploding.
00:35:17.600 So they are afraid, um, the Democrats in general that are, have been in the party,
00:35:23.900 But the main thing they accuse them of, which I agree with them is that they're
00:35:29.420 enriching themselves, like somebody like Mike Rogers, somebody, somebody else
00:35:35.240 that's been in Congress for a long time, they're just, you see their, their wealth
00:35:41.060 grow, but you don't see anything in regards to your state or your city or
00:35:46.280 whatever it is.
00:35:46.820 So they have it there.
00:35:49.100 They're the underdog.
00:35:50.240 They're the Trump, Trump kind of, uh, would, would argue the same thing.
00:35:56.400 MAGA would argue the same thing.
00:35:58.040 The only issue with, with the whole thing is that they're offering free stuff,
00:36:03.260 communism and all sorts of things, talking about affordability, talking about
00:36:07.460 all the issues that everybody cares about in your daily life.
00:36:11.180 Like when you're, when you're in your daily life, you go to the supermarket,
00:36:14.620 you, you pay your, your, your bills and all that.
00:36:17.180 You're not thinking Iran.
00:36:18.140 You're thinking, can I afford this?
00:36:22.060 I was at Trader Joe's the other day, and usually it's like $60 to whatever.
00:36:27.700 It was like $150, and I'm like, I didn't even buy everything that I needed.
00:36:32.160 No, we're all feeling it.
00:36:33.840 We are all feeling it.
00:36:34.980 And that might be my state, you guys, because we have extra taxes for nothing.
00:36:42.380 No, I was just saying the other day, I think everybody's feeling it, and I'm so shocked.
00:36:48.140 know i'm just like how you know i'm in a good position financially okay but i feel it but
00:36:55.580 what if you're just not as most people aren't you know they're just not jeff so um do you think we
00:37:02.220 need to pivot and focus yeah we need to pivot and focus to kitchen table issues like uh to quote 0.97
00:37:08.780 james corville i can't believe i'm gonna do this it's the economy stupid it's like like that's 0.96
00:37:13.660 always going to win because think about what's important to just average everyday people. It's 0.98
00:37:18.680 not some country who may or may not have nuclear weapons. Like it's, it's like, that doesn't matter
00:37:25.060 nearly as much as, Oh, you're looking at the gas pump. Holy crap. Like, look at this, look at this 0.99
00:37:30.180 that I'm paying at the gas pump or for your groceries or whatever it happens to be. And,
00:37:34.440 You know, I just think back to, actually, I'll quote Spencer Pratt here, the show's favorite new and upcoming persuader.
00:37:46.900 The DSA, he calls it destroying society altogether.
00:37:51.760 And it's like, as soon as I saw that, I was like, oh, man, that's perfect.
00:37:54.960 Um, and so if you're the Republicans, you have one mission and it's, it's to talk about
00:38:03.320 kitchen table issues because what's up for grabs is, um, it's either going to be sort
00:38:11.520 of America first MAGA, or it's going to be DSA destroying society altogether there.
00:38:17.820 I think both, especially when you think about the younger generations, both younger generations
00:38:22.920 call it under 40 maybe um they see the existing system that's been in place for the last you know
00:38:29.760 30 40 years and they say that system's not working and something's going to happen where
00:38:38.580 a new system is going to supplant the old system it's coming there's nothing anyone can do to stop
00:38:44.700 it the question is what will supplant the old system of sort of spoils and fraud and spending
00:38:50.840 money like hand over fist and getting entangled in foreign wars what's going to supplant that is
00:38:58.000 one of two things and i don't know about you but i really don't want the dsa version of america
00:39:03.180 because that's going to end with uh bread lines if you're lucky and um possibly mass starvation
00:39:10.400 if you're very unlucky so don't sign me up for that i don't want it i don't want it i can't i
00:39:15.080 don't i don't like to be uncomfortable you guys i really don't um oh and can you wrap this up and
00:39:20.300 then I have another clip for you guys. Yeah, well, I certainly agree that we should be focusing on
00:39:25.580 these domestic issues, affordability, as well as any economic sort of issue. And I do think the
00:39:31.520 Iran war is working against us in that, but I do think there's still plenty of good things to talk
00:39:35.600 about. And I think as James Carville and others have pointed out, I think that, well, and a lot
00:39:43.680 of Republicans have pointed out that the DSA stuff is giving us plenty of ammunition. There's plenty
00:39:49.500 of things to talk about that would give us fear persuasion and other really effective persuasion.
00:39:55.060 Maybe we need to find ways to make it visual, but to show that this is going to be a disaster
00:40:00.580 if it's allowed to happen and it's going to destroy the country. And so I think there's
00:40:06.740 plenty of messaging that could be used. I'm not entirely confident or expecting that the
00:40:12.740 Republicans in general are going to do a great job with it just because they haven't so far
00:40:16.340 and haven't had a good track record with that.
00:40:19.460 But I do trust that Trump knows all this stuff
00:40:22.180 and he'll at least push us in the right direction.
00:40:25.880 So I'm hopeful, but at the same time,
00:40:28.380 I wouldn't say I'm necessarily optimistic
00:40:30.120 about our chances in the midterms.
00:40:31.820 I think it's heading in a bad direction. 0.87
00:40:34.520 I think the Iran war is part of that problem.
00:40:36.420 I think the other is just that Republicans
00:40:39.260 don't seem to be very competent or competent
00:40:41.700 in terms of both messaging and in just getting out the vote.
00:40:44.340 and it's not all bad news. And again, I don't really know how it's stacking up. I see stories
00:40:50.040 in the news talking about how Republicans are all going to win and a bunch that are saying,
00:40:54.840 you know, it's all going to go to the Democrats. And so I really don't know
00:40:57.360 which way it's going to go. If I had to predict today, I probably would say we're likely to lose
00:41:01.500 the House and we're likely to maintain control in the Senate, which means we'll have gridlock
00:41:05.980 and nothing much will happen other than just a whole bunch of show trial sort of committees
00:41:10.560 in the house, but, and probably some impeachments that will get rejected once they get to the
00:41:16.160 Senate. But that, you know, that's just a guess at this point. I think everything's kind of up
00:41:19.500 in the air. Yeah, I agree. I don't know if any of you guys had a chance to see the link I posted
00:41:29.060 yesterday to Nate Friedman's, wait a minute, hang on. Let's see. Oh, okay. So thanks. John just sent
00:41:38.340 me a truth post, truth social post from Trump says, great news for the Republican party. El
00:41:46.240 Syed, a communist loser who hates Jews and Israel is the projected winner in this race with the 1.00
00:41:52.740 socialists. As usual, the polls were way off on this one. She, oh, she was not expected to do 0.99
00:42:00.900 nearly as well as she did. Now the Democrats crazy policies will only get worse. Okay. 1.00
00:42:08.340 Say what you think, Trump. Okay. So, um, I, I agree, Owen, and I don't know that it seems to
00:42:18.740 me like the Republicans are singularly focused on one issue only, and it's not looking inward at
00:42:26.260 the country. It's looking outward everywhere else. Um, so I worry about that, but I don't know if you
00:42:31.240 guys got to see. Nate Friedman put his documentary up for everybody to look at. It's about Islam
00:42:42.820 taking over Dearborn, Michigan. And also he released another one today about the same issue
00:42:48.680 happening in Brooklyn or the Bronx. I'm sorry. I don't know which one, but please follow Nate
00:42:55.640 Friedman. I was messaging with him yesterday. He's thrilled that we're talking about everything on
00:42:59.760 here. Um, I just want to show you one clip. Okay. So think about Michigan, right? We used to build
00:43:05.860 cars there and it was like thriving and like beautiful neighborhoods and good schools and
00:43:11.940 everything you'd want for your American lifestyle. I think they're 46 now out of 50 in education.
00:43:18.180 Um, they Dearborn in particular is being run amok now with Islam. And that's the plan with 1.00
00:43:27.280 the socialists slash communists, uh, people that don't like, um, capitalism, let's put it that way.
00:43:34.120 And they want everyone to be on the same playing field, although they don't. So this is just,
00:43:38.940 you know, a few minutes, but I want you to really see, imagine you're going grocery shopping. Okay.
00:43:44.300 Bad enough with the food prices, like we said, but imagine really that this is your local grocery
00:43:49.980 store. Picture the store you always go to. Okay. And now imagine this is what it is.
00:43:55.500 If you were to do grocery shopping here in Dearborn, this is what you would see.
00:44:01.420 In my two years of reporting on the ground, this is the most shocking footage that I have ever taken.
00:44:07.460 Our country is becoming unrecognizable.
00:44:10.460 I will play this footage without commentary and let you experience it as I did.
00:44:25.500 Here we go.
00:44:38.200 Thank you, sir.
00:44:40.100 Okay for your...
00:44:41.100 No.
00:45:11.100 Hello marshmallows.
00:45:23.140 You can see that you'd be a fish out of water here, a guest in your own country.
00:45:28.120 You probably also noticed how almost every mother had at least three young children with
00:45:32.980 them, so you'd be naive to think that this stops at Dearborn.
00:45:37.460 You see an American flag at the front to disguise assimilation, but the worker's uniform has Arabic on it,
00:45:42.720 and the products are being imported from Yemen, Lebanon, and Iraq.
00:45:46.800 Now I wanted to speak to more people to see who they're voting for,
00:45:50.500 but every interview I got, I was denied ten times from people who don't speak English.
00:45:55.680 I will be bringing an Arabic translator with me in the future, which is a testament to the direction we're heading.
00:46:02.260 Recently, our company's softball team lost the big game by one run.
00:46:06.600 Then Dale tried to console us with the quote,
00:46:09.020 winning isn't everything.
00:46:10.900 Well, Dale and I are very different.
00:46:14.560 I get early payout from Bet365.
00:46:16.480 If my team goes up big, I get paid out instantly,
00:46:19.300 even if they blow the lead later.
00:46:21.300 Sound familiar, Dale?
00:46:23.100 Thanks, Bet365.

00:47:05.440 it's kind of crazy owen um you know imagine going to your grocery store in a year or two
00:47:32.180 from now and that's what you're faced with what do you think can you guys not hear me no i i can
00:47:38.460 hear you um it it's i think it's kind of amazing um and scary um but i i don't know i mean you know 0.90
00:47:48.760 i could take the other side of it and say well it's just an ethnic neighborhood you know it's 1.00
00:47:53.980 an extreme example like if you went to a mexican neighborhood it would be all 0.92
00:47:58.000 you know people you know if you went I'll film that if you went to Chinatown it would be all
00:48:03.940 you know Asian people so I I do think it's you know not not necessarily as extreme or as widespread 0.99
00:48:12.700 as you you know as they're making it out to be but you know I do think that Dearborn is a big 1.00
00:48:19.080 problem and it's not really just that everybody's wearing their you know head scarf things but it's
00:48:25.040 just that like they're they are very anti-america i mean i posted a story today about some video i
00:48:31.480 don't know if you saw that clip but it was like they were chanting death to america like it's
00:48:36.020 basically an insurrection like it that's a real insurrection like that you know you have a town
00:48:41.140 in america where everybody's chanting death to america like that that to me is the problem it's
00:48:45.720 not just people are wearing headscarves in a grocery store it's just but owen i i have to
00:48:51.260 interrupt you because there's a difference between the people in Chinatown or Little
00:48:59.160 Mexico, whatever you want to call it, their ideology, they have same types of morals and
00:49:07.380 values that we do. These people, like you said, are chanting death to America. They want to kill
00:49:11.600 us and they want to rid us of being here. So to say it's not as widespread, I think it's like
00:49:20.700 where i was saying like you know we say it's a slow moving disaster that entire grocery store 0.98
00:49:25.820 in dearborn it's huge and it's now taken over by their food their writing their culture you go in 0.99
00:49:33.900 there no one's speaking english i mean it's a problem and it is popping up everywhere and you
00:49:40.460 know i just saw somebody just posted that vero beach florida which is like just like this like 0.99
00:49:46.300 old white area is now going to be getting some kind of huge Islam city there. And then I was
00:49:53.080 just watching last night in Mooresville, North Carolina, they had like a, I don't know what you
00:49:59.140 would call the meeting, but like all of these people showed up and they were like, you cannot 1.00
00:50:03.420 put a giant mosque here, you know, because like what the mosques do, it's like their military 0.97
00:50:09.460 center, their recruiting center, they can plot and plan. They have their own like laws in there 1.00
00:50:15.060 and it just spreads out from there. So I just feel like it's a slippery slope. And I get nervous
00:50:21.140 to downplay it because I think it's bigger than people are really realizing. I agree with you.
00:50:27.720 I'm not trying to downplay the whole situation. I was just pointing out that that particular
00:50:31.880 footage, my reaction to it was like that part isn't necessarily the issue. It might be an
00:50:37.780 indication of the problem indirectly, just that it's so concentrated. And I do think that's part
00:50:43.460 of the problem is that if you took all those same people and just spread them out all over the 0.72
00:50:47.260 country in little bits and pieces it probably would lead to a lot more assimilation because
00:50:52.080 they would be with a lot of other people they'd meet a lot more americans they'd meet they'd see
00:50:56.660 more of our culture and they might have more of a chance of doing it you know getting assimilated
00:51:01.100 but i think and i do think part of the problem is that when you put them all in one place like
00:51:04.660 the somali community in minnesota and dearborn michigan then they don't assimilate they just
00:51:10.020 there it's like a little pocket of whatever country they came from and they never assimilate
00:51:14.680 and they don't even show any interest in assimilating but they're not even around people
00:51:18.080 to assimilate with so i think that is one of the mistakes that was made by whoever let all these
00:51:23.880 people in is putting them all in one place and letting them basically take over a portion of
00:51:28.500 the country and then have government control of those portions of the country and it is anti
00:51:34.780 assimilation, essentially. So I don't know how intentional it was, but I have to imagine there 0.80
00:51:39.820 might have been some intention behind it. And I think it is something that we shouldn't do.
00:51:45.220 So I'm not downplaying the problem. I agree with you completely on that. And I just think the real
00:51:50.380 problem is you have this concentration of people that are anti-America and that don't have any
00:51:56.940 exposure or even interest in assimilating into American culture or American values or our system.
00:52:01.780 And yes, the birth rate between Muslims and Americans or anyone else, really, it's like staggering. So like he pointed out, you know, each woman there had like three or four kids in her cart with her. But okay, so, Jeff, your thoughts?
00:52:19.840 yeah i was just trying to think of an analogy uh so say that you you are a very accommodating
00:52:26.180 roommate and you you get a new roommate off of craigslist and and they come from a culture that
00:52:33.060 you know is antithetical to to your culture but you're you're very you're a very nice person
00:52:37.760 and uh they start throwing throwing parties at your house and forcing you to
00:52:43.880 uh eat certain foods and all this kind of stuff uh the the more aggressive um and persistent
00:52:52.840 roommate is always going to win versus the roommate who is very passive and accommodating
00:52:59.480 um when we're talking about immigration i think of the the stories i've heard of immigration as
00:53:08.160 it was in, say, the early 20th century where you would have people from Italy or France
00:53:15.340 or, you know, your Europeans coming over.
00:53:19.280 And in many cases, they wouldn't even allow their children to speak the old language.
00:53:25.040 And they would say, well, no, you're in America now.
00:53:28.120 You have to, I want you to fit in, in America.
00:53:31.880 I want you to thrive in America.
00:53:33.120 And so when there is immigration with no intention of assimilation, when there are enclaves that will no doubt eventually, as they have in, I think, Sweden, lead to police no-go zones, when you have those kind of situations pop up, either intentionally or unintentionally, something is deeply broken. 0.85
00:53:55.920 assimilation should be the goal and if you're importing a culture that does not want to 0.91
00:54:02.220 assimilate what what will happen in 10 15 20 25 years well yeah nothing nothing good if you are 0.53
00:54:13.980 the um sort of the host country if you will uh and so and i say all this you know kind of feeling a
00:54:23.460 little bit of discomfort saying like oh people people need to assimilate or get out but that's
00:54:28.900 kind of what i'm saying actually uh we have to have people assimilate to the american way of
00:54:34.560 life because if you get enough people who don't then there will be no american way of life it will
00:54:40.800 it will be uh you know lost in the wind of time i agree okay marcella so what i saw in the video
00:54:49.120 because I did watch it, is capitalism.
00:54:52.680 I saw a supermarket, them buying everything from what they want to buy.
00:55:01.060 In regards to them maybe not speaking to him, it's because of the language barrier.
00:55:06.280 I think he said he was going to bring an interpreter to see next time he was going to be there.
00:55:11.080 I know that that infuriates Americans when they have to use translators
00:55:18.540 in their own country but there's areas in LA still to this day where I go and you know they
00:55:25.500 expect you to speak Spanish or you know or they expect you to speak Korean in Koreatown where I
00:55:33.420 went to law school near where I went to law school and you're like I don't speak Korean yet
00:55:41.580 i'm trying to learn but um you know so i've gone to supermarkets in uh orange county and the
00:55:50.060 pasadena area they're all arabic um and they've treated me well you know okay problem solved
00:56:00.060 they're nice well i'm just letting you know like that america is to me america because i'm an
00:56:07.580 immigrant as you know i think america is different people at different times um and i think
00:56:13.740 eventually they'll simulate one thing about the united states one thing about the united states
00:56:20.380 um i let everybody speak you guys if you can you know let me speak um one of the things that i do
00:56:26.780 admire about the united states that i did not admire about germany is that we're allowed to
00:56:33.340 to segregate if we want, but we're allowed to also live wherever we want.
00:56:39.220 And I think like Owen said, and I think Jeff said, it's important to see that the eventually 0.63
00:56:46.240 the different generations are going to eventually assimilate, yes, they're going to have their
00:56:51.140 own religion. 0.64
00:56:52.520 But as long as, you know, Mormons have their own religion, Hindus have Hinduism, Sikhs, 0.96
00:57:01.540 you know, you go to Orange County, there's a huge Sikh center, you know, but they're all part,
00:57:06.220 they're all meshed together. And I think the, the thing that keeps us going is, is that in America,
00:57:12.640 there's no rules like there were in Germany where you couldn't live in those apartments because
00:57:19.900 you were Turkish. You had to live over there, you know, so those things help. Um, I think in 1.00
00:57:26.940 regards to what I think Owen said something about how they were saying um what did you say
00:57:34.500 Owen you said something about destruction of America down with America yeah I posted a clip
00:57:40.080 today that had some kind of Dearborn Michigan I think it was may have been some news story but
00:57:45.940 in the background or something there was people chanting like death to America and it was in
00:57:49.460 Dearborn Michigan so to me that's like more of an insurrection than anything that happened on
00:57:53.520 january 6th if i go to a whole foods in west hollywood um the same thing you would hear death
00:58:01.940 to america um it's unfortunate but i i think that us separating away from uh dearborn from all these
00:58:12.660 cities is not good we need to instead of separating we need to go and you know basically
00:58:20.860 be there so that they see the difference i just think that separation is not going to lead to
00:58:26.840 anything so okay well in my opinion they're separating themselves from us and you know
00:58:34.500 what are you going to do about that they don't want to be integrated with the americans they're
00:58:39.800 creating their own cities and and keeping their culture there so how do you get them to assimilate
00:58:46.780 when everything we believe in disgusts them marcella i disagree i don't think that they
00:58:55.340 believe everything that we believe disgust them i think that just like anybody else i see them
00:59:00.620 as individuals all of us like in our families we want to do better we want to have food on the
00:59:07.660 table everything that would apply to a chinese american family would apply to an arab american
00:59:14.700 family um the same way i i think you need to treat people as individuals and what they need
00:59:22.380 is a future for their children uh they want to not be at war they want to have things that we all
00:59:30.860 have you know so they do have the same i mean they even they believe in jesus like they celebrate
00:59:38.620 christmas sometimes like in if you go to the arab world you you you have celebrations of jesus
00:59:44.700 uh mary everything so what i'm trying to say is look at them as individuals not as a group
00:59:52.460 all of us want to do better and the thing about el sayed and some of these other politicians is
01:00:01.660 they're trying to turn this country into communism and that's what you need to focus on the politics
01:00:07.020 I don't believe that this supermarket owner would want to turn communist.
01:00:13.780 I, the other, he interviewed this man, I think his name was Jeff from Lebanon,
01:00:19.640 and he had his own shop for like 70 years or something, or his family did.
01:00:23.860 I don't think they want to turn communist.
01:00:25.940 I think that's what you need to focus on.
01:00:28.500 That's, you know.
01:00:30.620 All right.
01:00:31.360 Well, obviously, we all have different opinions.
01:00:34.020 Marcel, you got a lot of pushback in the chat.
01:00:37.020 And that's fine. And that's okay. Like, we don't all agree on things, we see things differently. And, you know, maybe, maybe Marcella's perspective is because she is an immigrant, and maybe it's a little bit different than ours. And I do love Marcella about you that you want to see everybody as an individual. I would like to be able to do that. But sometimes I just can't. And, you know, I don't know if that's a flaw or not. It's just who I am.
01:01:03.660 but i think there is a real issue there that like i i'm with marcella that i would treat any
01:01:08.760 individual person as an individual but at the same time there is a lot of group stuff and
01:01:13.700 collective stuff that's going on here yeah it's not just that's not the only thing happening here
01:01:17.920 you have people that are treating this like a collective sort of thing where they're saying
01:01:23.480 we want to have sharia law we want to have kind of an exclusive no-go zone where people can't go
01:01:29.320 if they're not part of this community like that's not american values and um it isn't an individual
01:01:35.240 behavior it's a it's a group behavior it's a collective behavior and it's a cultural sort of
01:01:39.880 thing so i i think we can't ignore that we can't just say oh let's just pretend i'm not saying to
01:01:45.800 ignore it there is laws for that in the books already if i'm trying to avoid that's the thing
01:01:52.920 that America has the rules of you can't just like everybody has the laws apply the same way here
01:02:00.120 in certain enclaves in Sweden laws don't exist that would apply to other Swedes you know so 0.77
01:02:08.360 that's the thing the law would apply to all of them if they're trying to do sharia law that's 0.64
01:02:15.480 not going to be allowed because that would go against the U.S. constitution and against state
01:02:21.000 law wherever they are so what i'm asking for is enforcement i don't see any enforcement 0.95
01:02:29.000 i i don't see anything there's a lot of um abuse of women in areas in michigan under muslim
01:02:39.080 garb or whatever it is they have um you know they let their these people out from prison
01:02:46.760 there you know what i mean so there needs to be enforcement i agree with owen on that
01:02:51.720 yeah we really do need enforcement i mean i think you know what marcella i think if i saw
01:02:57.040 our laws and our constitution being like fully upheld like the judges were doing what they're
01:03:04.020 supposed to do and the police could do what they were supposed to do i might feel differently
01:03:08.480 but i don't see it i don't see it enough i see you know i see separate rules for so many different
01:03:14.980 people. And so I don't feel good about it, but if, if everything was going according to law that we
01:03:20.620 have now on the books, I'd probably feel a little better. I don't know. All right. Anyone, any last
01:03:28.140 words on this? No, I think we covered it. Jeff, anything? Yeah. I just, I like, I like the
01:03:39.020 discussion because it's important for us to see what other people think. And I think I can agree
01:03:46.820 with Marcella that enforcement, I would like to see a lot more enforcement because as soon as you
01:03:52.740 start to have different standards for different people, well, that's going to be a problem. 0.72
01:04:00.160 Yeah. And by the way, and that goes both ways. So I don't want to see enforcement standards for
01:04:05.180 different people. And I don't want to feel differently about people. I don't want to feel
01:04:10.520 one way about this person versus that person, but sometimes I feel backed into a corner and
01:04:16.780 that's just how I feel. I can't help how I feel. I don't want to have to be that way,
01:04:22.440 but based on what I see and how I interpret it, that's my reaction. So I think that the four of
01:04:29.720 us here are a good representation of all sorts of different opinions. We come from different
01:04:34.880 backgrounds. We live in different parts of the country and you know, it's, um, it's interesting.
01:04:41.560 It's just interesting. Um, but I love every one of you equally. Um, all right. So thank you so much
01:04:48.160 for the great conversation today, you guys, and the home team returns tomorrow. And Marcella,
01:04:55.840 we hope that you kicked butt yesterday in court when you left. So I'm sure you did. Um, all right, 0.96
01:05:01.580 you guys. Can we all have a closing smile? And then we will say thank you to Scott and Shelly
01:05:08.620 for always allowing the show to continue. We appreciate so much being able to show up here
01:05:14.120 and have fun discussions, silly discussions. We started off with giant zucchinis and cucumbers
01:05:19.760 and ended with a nice spicy conversation. All right, you guys. So thank you to Scott and Shelly.
01:05:25.820 thank you to everyone here for showing up and as always a closing sip to our beloved scott and if
01:05:32.220 you want to stay for an akira song i'll stay for one and if anyone has to jet you jet okay to scott
01:05:38.220 to scott to scott bye guys
01:05:47.340 let's do oh let's do beautiful world
01:05:51.100 although the science says that your happiness is not that affected by your environment
01:06:00.560 that's not true
01:06:04.100 your happiness is totally affected by your environment
01:06:21.100 If your environment is a loving family, you don't think you'd be a little bit happier
01:06:42.040 than if you were sitting all alone in your little apartment, like some of you are.
01:06:45.980 I think it's absurd to imagine that changing your situation won't make you happier.
01:06:58.060 You don't think that going from poor, where your candidate's about eating, to well-off,
01:07:06.940 you don't think that that would make you happier?
01:07:09.360 Because you didn't have to worry about starving?
01:07:12.880 Of course they would.
01:07:15.980 I guarantee it would make you happier.
01:07:18.380 It's a beautiful world
01:07:24.760 It's a beautiful world
01:07:31.360 It's a beautiful world
01:07:37.900 It's a beautiful world
01:07:40.360 It's a beautiful world
01:07:44.720 So yeah, fix your physical
01:07:48.280 exposure, meaning go outside, you know, make sure that you're around some beauty, and then
01:07:56.660 you're not looking at depressing, gray things. I would even change my commute if it took a few
01:08:05.500 minutes to go through a more attractive place. If you go look at it every day,
01:08:18.280 It's better to expose yourself to the attractive route than the fast industrial route.
01:08:48.280 Try to be happy
01:08:49.960 It's a beautiful world
01:08:53.040 Be cheerful
01:08:58.880 Try to be happy
01:09:01.440 It's a beautiful world
01:09:04.060 Be cheerful
01:09:10.160 Try to be happy
01:09:18.280 Thank you.

01:12:15.780 beautiful day. Oh my God, you guys. One more vegetable appearance. Cucumber. Zucchini. Could
01:12:34.440 you die? Is that crazy? I think I'm going to... What animal will eat this outside? Why are you
01:12:42.360 sorry, Flynn Lizzie. Don't be sorry. I don't know why you're sorry. I don't know what to do. Like 0.76
01:12:52.280 who will eat that cucumber, but I'm going to throw it out there. Isn't that crazy? I was cracking up.
01:12:59.760 You're hot blooded. Is that nuts? You guys, this is a cucumber. Wait, this is my water bottle
01:13:06.960 and this is the cucumber. Wait, I have to hold them the same way. It's like almost the same size.
01:13:11.860 Actually, it is without the lid. And it was like under a weed. It was under a weed, not a weed.
01:13:18.660 It was under leaves at the bottom of the plant. And I was pulling some weeds and I'm like, oh my
01:13:22.460 God, is that a cucumber? Imagine if it was like another week, how much bigger it would have been.
01:13:27.900 Okay. Talking about vegetables. Here we are. A scratching post for Stella. That's hysterical.
01:13:34.720 Oh, thank you. Thanks metal seer. Oh, we're going to miss you tomorrow. I know. Yeah. So if you
01:13:44.400 missed the opening, I was showing off my veggies to Jeff because he has a garden, he has chickens
01:13:50.200 and he does like all that stuff. So cucumber dip, I think it's too big. You guys, I think if I cut
01:13:55.900 it open, it's going to be like mostly seeds. That's what happens when they get too big like
01:13:59.460 that. But okay, I digress. Get out there, you guys. Plant a cucumber plant. I'll see you guys
01:14:07.180 tomorrow. Bye, guys. Love you.
01:14:29.460 You
