00:00:00.560 Are we live? We're live. We're live. Good morning, everyone.
00:00:06.740 Good morning. It's another Monday. You guys, it's crispy, a little crispy on the Jersey
00:00:12.540 shore today, but gorgeous. How about you guys? It's kind of rainy here. Something you want
00:00:23.700 tell us owen no we're in different places oh i'm home i'm home just kidding but it's just been it's
00:00:31.460 i've been letting the dogs out regularly and it's been wet oh the dogs making a comment
00:00:38.100 on that call no comment on the comment you guys all right you know what that means i have no idea
00:00:43.860 so good morning you guys it is monday september 21st isn't that a song
00:00:50.500 song? September 21st. Anyway, there's a song. Don't sing it. Don't sing it. We'll get demonetized.
00:00:58.720 But sing it later to me. I want to hear. Hi, everybody. Okay. So we are in full Monday mode.
00:01:05.700 I'm actually going to play a sip that we played recently because the sips didn't come through
00:01:11.920 today. So I said, instead of one of us doing it, let's just repeat one Scott did. And then we're
00:01:17.200 going to get into all sorts of craziness so let's grab your vessels and take it away scott let us
00:01:24.080 get to the important part of the morning the part that makes everything better yeah it's called the
00:01:29.000 simultaneous sip and all you need is a cup or a mug or a glass a tank or gels or stein a canteen
00:01:34.400 jug or flask a vessel of any kind fill it with your favorite beverage i like coffee and join me
00:01:42.260 for the unparalleled pleasure of the dopamine hit of the day the thing that makes everything better
00:01:49.460 it's called the simultaneous sip it happens now go
00:01:55.780 oh yeah yeah
00:02:00.020 so good i agree and yes for those of you wondering my top third is hot and frothy thank god okay so
00:02:10.180 like the boo pillow in that picture i know the pillow behind him so cute boo is his uh cat if
00:02:17.640 those of you that didn't know oh shoot i forgot to bring pictures over i have pictures of gary
00:02:22.840 and roman for you all they are so cute i'll post them tomorrow because i didn't get them in here
00:02:28.000 on time but gary and roman are great and they're with their dog friends i'm going to forget their
00:02:33.760 names i wrote them down lady and uh oh tomorrow full-on pictures of the kitties i promise
00:02:40.560 um good morning everybody for saying good morning to us my name is erica you are at the scott adams
00:02:46.880 school i'm with my beautiful co-hosts marcella and owen owen you look smashing today thank you
00:02:54.960 you know i know you're competing with marcella i see like in the the beauty contest we're having
00:02:59.440 here but marcella wins we're both competing with you erica oh no i'm just over here um it's all
00:03:08.680 about the two of you honestly um you guys so much stuff happened over the weekend i don't even know
00:03:15.500 where to start so i thought that we would start with greenland and um so i have a clip that jason
00:03:25.220 Cohen post is some of you might've seen it over the weekend, but, uh, you know, Scott,
00:03:31.940 so Scott was, you know, very sick in this clip. So I'm just letting you guys know that,
00:03:37.100 but we're not going to focus on that. Okay. We're going to focus on the brain that man
00:03:41.200 had till the day he left us. So let's just take a few minutes to hear Scott. And then we're going
00:03:47.360 to talk about what's happening in the news of Greenland. Take a listen. Well, according to
00:03:52.080 In the New York Times, Trump told his age to give him an updated plan for acquiring Greenland,
00:04:02.460 but Rubio says the plan is to buy it.
00:04:06.320 So that seems like the right way to go, doesn't it?
00:04:09.680 To at first make a legitimate effort to buy it.
00:04:19.320 But your negotiation for that would be strong under the condition that you're definitely
00:04:25.940 going to take it by force if you have to.
00:04:29.920 Now that people believe, and I'm sure they do, that Trump would just march the army and
00:04:34.940 take it if they can't make a deal to sell it, that puts them in a pretty strong negotiating
00:04:42.080 position.
00:04:44.700 Now, you have to assume, of course, that Denmark and Greenland would vigorously object to handing
00:04:54.260 over this as property, but I would say the new Monroe Doctrine supports Trump doing it,
00:05:02.820 especially since he already said some version of, who's going to stop him?
00:05:08.720 Who's going to stop him?
00:05:09.800 and as uh we saw eric weinstein say recently that international law probably doesn't even exist
00:05:19.340 that what is really happening is whoever has the power exercises the power and then you know we
00:05:27.440 we put some nice layer of narrative on top of it like oh we had international reason to do it
00:05:35.060 Oh, Greenland sold some fentanyl to a dog.
00:05:39.600 Yeah, we'll make up something.
00:05:41.620 But I would say this is, yet again,
00:05:45.640 my example of wanting versus deciding.
00:05:50.060 Trump has clearly moved down to the wanting phase
00:05:53.860 and he's into the deciding phase.
00:05:56.840 And the decision has been made.
00:05:59.480 The decision is that the United States will buy
00:06:04.040 or just take Greenland, and it won't be forever from now.
00:06:10.260 Almost certainly would happen within the next three years.
00:06:14.260 And if we move at what I call Trump speed,
00:06:18.360 you know how everything Trump does is faster?
00:06:21.480 If you put the usual filter on it, you say,
00:06:24.740 well, how many years is it going to take to negotiate it
00:06:29.080 or have a military reaction or something?
00:06:32.460 And the answer is, if this were a normal president, it might take longer than the president is even in office.
00:06:40.120 But in the world of Trump speed, Trump could get this done in six months.
00:06:46.680 And I'd say there's a good chance he will.
00:06:49.040 Not 100% chance.
00:06:50.940 But he's the only president who could say, starting now, we're going to own Greenland in six months and mean it and actually pull it off.
00:07:00.080 oh beverly i'm with you sister um so that's pretty freaking amazing the way scott's thinking
00:07:08.860 there um let's just quick follow it up with a 40 second clip expanded security and military rights
00:07:16.100 in greenland one official at the state department explained a little bit further saying that this
00:07:21.900 agreement is going to bar adversaries from making investments in greenland that could threaten the
00:07:26.980 United States, and it would also ban any non-NATO base in Greenland, essentially guaranteeing that
00:07:31.900 China and Russia cannot have a base in Greenland or send troops there. President Trump posted
00:07:37.240 online, quote, we will immediately begin the process of developing a large military presence
00:07:42.220 in the appropriate part of Greenland. We will work with the people of Greenland in its development
00:07:46.340 and construction. This solution is a great one for the United States of America, Denmark, Greenland,
00:07:52.020 and all of our allies. This week, President Trump is set to speak at the United Nations
00:07:56.300 General Assembly. All right. So Marcella, I love that. I mean, Scott was so good at
00:08:04.180 reasoning things out and imagining the different scenarios and what we might be able to do and
00:08:10.840 might not and listening to other people. So I think, you know, Scott's getting a little chuckle
00:08:18.760 about Greenland right now, do you think?
00:08:21.760 Well, I'm sure he's watching.
00:08:26.320 He always is watching over us.
00:08:28.400 I can sense that when there's like certain simulation winks
00:08:32.360 that he gives away.
00:08:33.940 But in regards to Greenland,
00:08:35.820 it was even better than what Scott predicted.
00:08:39.660 We didn't even have to buy it.
00:08:41.200 We don't even have to carry anybody on Medicare or Medi-Cal
00:08:44.860 or any kind of thing.
00:08:46.220 it's like we picked up free money because this is where basically we already had an American
00:08:54.420 presence. Yes, we did. But we did not have a permanent American presence. We didn't have this
00:09:00.600 ironclad deal. And we are able to make other countries, restrict other countries from flying
00:09:09.120 over and having any economic access. The economic access, I think, is the thing that nobody talks
00:09:15.820 about um greenland has a lot of oil in the sea that near there and to have restrictions on russia
00:09:24.860 from having any access to that or perhaps china um it's amazing it really does play to
00:09:34.620 um trump's ability to do something and negotiate something without really giving up anything
00:09:42.460 yeah and it's amazing to see uh trump set his mind on something and see all the benefits and
00:09:51.940 oh and you know trump's not gonna he decided yeah he decided he was like we're getting it go ahead
00:09:57.540 he even said i'm so sorry he even said that he was in deciding mode and i thought okay he's
00:10:04.020 listening either he he he's channeling scott or he's listening to him i noticed that too
00:10:09.180 Scott would be having so much fun with this story
00:10:12.780 He would just be, you know, telling you how he got the prediction right
00:10:16.500 And he knew this was going to happen
00:10:17.740 He'd be talking about Trump's negotiating skills, everything
00:10:21.100 I mean, it's just, like, I don't know how this could be a bigger win for Trump
00:10:26.060 Like, he basically got everything he wanted for free
00:10:28.940 Like, he didn't have to buy it
00:10:30.720 He just, like, and when you step back and you look at how all this happened
00:10:34.880 You know, he basically was doing the art of the deal the whole time
00:10:38.660 where he was saying, I'm going to take it. I'm going to take it. I'm just going to be mine.
00:10:41.460 It's mine. And he's scaring everybody and he's panicking everybody. He's putting all this
00:10:45.260 tension on the situation, right? Like he he's, and he kept, kept up the pressure. Like, you know,
00:10:51.260 we'd go away for a little while while we'd be talking about other things and then he'd bring
00:10:54.280 it back and he'd be like, I'm still going after Greenland. And so he, I'm sure that if you put
00:11:00.020 yourself in the shoes of Denmark and Greenland, they're like, you know, worried about what might
00:11:04.440 happen, and probably wanting to make a deal to avoid, you know, losing the whole country,
00:11:10.040 basically. And so, you know, this, this is basically, it is the win win to an extent,
00:11:16.700 but it's really lopsided on our side, because we got everything we wanted, and we didn't have to
00:11:21.540 pay anything for it. And we got control, I would say, over almost every important issue we care
00:11:26.700 about in that country, we got control over, like investments in the country, we have veto power
00:11:32.040 over other countries investing in greenland and not i don't think it's just military i think it's
00:11:36.980 like economic like energy investments like we can say no to that and and they greenland can't
00:11:43.900 say no to that like and the same thing with military they cannot veto if we say we want a
00:11:48.520 new military base here they can't they agreed they can't say no to that so we basically got
00:11:53.500 everything we were looking for and we didn't pay anything for it and they do benefit so it's a good
00:11:59.160 deal for them because they get free military protection. But to Marcel's point, we don't
00:12:05.500 have to pay for any support. We don't have to take over the payments that Denmark makes to
00:12:09.960 Greenland every year to keep them going because they don't really have enough of an economy to
00:12:13.680 keep themselves going. And so we don't get any of the bad parts and we get all of the good parts.
00:12:20.020 And another thing I saw in one of the stories about this is we already had a deal for the
00:12:24.680 rare earth mineral rights that some US companies had bought the rare earth mineral rights. So we
00:12:29.060 got the rare earths we got military protection and we got you know investment control over
00:12:35.620 energy investments so like everything we would care about it's just all there and it's like a
00:12:40.280 huge win and yeah for sure and it's in perpetuity like it can't go away so it's not like uh another
00:12:48.140 president in greenland can make this go away or you know nobody can make it go away it's it's there
00:12:54.540 forever. So, um, I guess unless we want it out, but why would we want out? Um, so that's pretty
00:13:01.260 fricking amazing. And congratulations to president Trump and everybody who worked on this deal.
00:13:08.320 Um, it's, it's a win-win for everyone. And, you know, I'm sure the news will spin it in a bizarre
00:13:15.760 and crazy way, um, which is actually going to have me come to you, Marcella about the news.
00:13:22.620 And, you know, so we know over, I guess it was Friday or over the weekend, President Trump has now banned CNN, MS Now and Politico from coming into the White House to report.
00:13:38.140 You know, the news will say, well, it's because they write bad stories about him and blah, blah, blah.
00:13:43.360 But, you know, there are two sides to this story.
00:13:45.780 And, you know, as someone who is so disgusted with what we call our news organizations in
00:13:53.640 this country, I don't blame him for, for this.
00:13:58.060 And we're going to find out from Marcella in a minute, if it's constitutional and if
00:14:01.820 it will hold up and this and that, but you know, it is, it has become propaganda to just
00:14:07.480 have people come in.
00:14:08.960 He allows them in. 0.58
00:14:10.240 He's so fricking transparent.
00:14:11.560 He gives them more access than anybody. And then they'll not write the truth. They'll spin it. They'll leave important details out. And the thing that is upsetting about that, why I am all for free speech, is that it's dangerous what they're doing to the country because it can sway the people, a nation, a world, how they spin news into propaganda. 0.51
00:14:38.520 And I know all news is propaganda at some point, but the hysteria that's come along with it can be dangerous.
00:14:45.460 Like you think about, you know, calling people, you know, terrible names because they're not into the gender affirming care.
00:14:53.220 And like your kids can become suicidal and like people pushing, you know, one narrative and COVID and the narrative they pushed on that.
00:15:01.020 Or Trump does something really great.
00:15:02.980 They'll leave that story out, but tell you something with a spin that it's horrible.
00:15:06.760 So I can see the frustration and, you know, maybe part, I'm just ranting right now, but maybe part of it, it's like, you know, he could have an incentive to do this now before the midterms, which valid because you want to get the good news out there and you want the people to feel good about all the wins happening and you're not going to find them in your basic news people because they're not reporting them.
00:15:30.160 so marcella is it constitutional was it the right move um what do you what's your take on it so
00:15:38.000 there's two sides to the story there's the persuasion side and the legal side the legal side
00:15:43.280 makes it not legal um unconstitutional based on the way it was done so there's no um there's a
00:15:51.520 case the president said in 1977 i'm sure all of you know but i will remind you cheryl b night
00:15:59.840 and basically what cheryl b night said is that there's no general public access to the white
00:16:05.680 house from anyone so there's no constitutional right for us to access the white house on free
00:16:10.960 speech matters but the government already has created a voluntarily press facility within the
00:16:18.080 white house once you create that you're allowing them in and so there's a first amendment as well
00:16:24.080 a fifth amendment right due process and first amendment free speech not to be denied arbitrarily
00:16:33.120 to that axis it can only be denied for compelling reasons like let's just say at one point or another
00:16:40.320 sam ibn laden wanted to be a press person or something like that you are able to deny him
00:16:46.080 not on what he's going to write but on the fact that he would be basically a terror um a danger to
00:16:52.480 you know compelling reasons danger so the issue would be that what how it's been decided and
00:17:00.240 there's been cases i i don't know if you remember bob what's his name acosta um jim had jim there
00:17:09.040 you go oh i remember jim had a lawsuit from cnn because he was denied access um and that was in
00:17:16.800 2018 and you still get so he was denied access without any process and so the court in that
00:17:23.760 particular case which was a trump appointed judge said that you can't do this white house
00:17:30.000 because you don't give him a process where you're just going to limit him so one of the things that
00:17:36.880 all of the cases that have come down from the dc circuit um or claiming that it's all based on
00:17:45.120 reasonable, compelling reasons, but also there needs to be a process, a notice time, uh, time
00:17:51.360 for them to answer back. And then on top of that, there would have to be, it can't just be a viewpoint
00:17:57.760 perspective like, Oh, I don't like you CNN. So therefore I don't like what you write. So therefore
00:18:04.960 I'm going to limit you. So that's where it hits the first amendment. Like if he said they smell
00:18:10.240 and that's a compelling reason or they're dangerous then he can't bring them in but he
00:18:16.000 has to have one a process two he has to have a non-neutral compelling reason um which he doesn't
00:18:25.920 have here and you know like i said before on different people he knows that he has many he
00:18:33.440 he has more lawyers than, than a law firm has. Um, so he's aware of this.
00:18:39.180 He's doing this. It's the two movies on one screen thing he's playing to the
00:18:43.960 base. He's showing, uh, literally, uh, he's making the other side fear him.
00:18:50.180 And then on the other side, he's actually kicking them out of the house and
00:18:54.660 letting them know you're not going to do this to me, you know, and see, and
00:18:58.800 maybe in a way he's also trying to see what, where he can go with Cheryl B.
00:19:03.080 night and have that be reviewed one of the things that i noticed about president trump is that he's
00:19:08.680 always pushing the envelope with cases and having the supreme court re-review things and do things
00:19:15.480 like that so does this president trump know all this of course he does but does he do it yes
00:19:22.280 because he's pushing the envelope he's doing it to see where he goes and like kind of setting
00:19:27.640 a scene and an example all of it is a lot of optics so i saw okay he's playing to the base
00:19:33.980 right and i i would just say like i i'm not a lawyer you probably know this much better than
00:19:39.680 me however i do think there is a lot of supreme court precedent on the other side i think there's
00:19:44.980 at least three different cases where they have said you don't have the right to gather information
00:19:49.600 that's not part of the the first amendment it's it's you can report whatever you want you can say
00:19:54.760 whatever you want according to those free speech guidelines but gathering the information there's
00:19:59.160 no entitlement to that in the first amendment he said that too he said you can write whatever you
00:20:03.880 want but you can do it from the street you can do it from wherever and information that's about
00:20:09.740 access to the white house right but that's not protected by the first amendment that's what i'm
00:20:14.500 saying it it's it's not not protected but the reason that it is acquired to them is because
00:20:21.760 if you're going to have a press room in your White House, like let's say, let's say for whatever
00:20:28.380 reason, Erica wanted to have a press room in her house, which is weird, but I do want access. And
00:20:34.160 so once you give that type of access, then what the court has said is once you give that access,
00:20:40.420 you cannot therefore go by, you know, by certain viewpoints. You can't buy and ban certain people
00:20:48.660 just because of their viewpoint.
00:20:50.500 Well, if I were to predict how this will play out,
00:20:52.740 it'll definitely go against Trump in the first round.
00:20:55.620 Like, you know, whatever circuit court judge gets it,
00:20:58.240 regardless of who it is, probably they'll say,
00:21:00.360 oh no, you can't do that.
00:21:01.300 You didn't follow the right process, whatever.
00:21:02.860 But I do think once it gets up to the Supreme Court,
00:21:05.440 it could change because they could say,
00:21:07.380 no, you're not allowed, you're not entitled to that.
00:21:09.680 And for context, I would say like before Trump came along
00:21:15.200 and took control of who has access,
00:21:17.200 because he's he's the one that opened up access to the right if you remember the white house
00:21:22.600 correspondence association was this exclusive club where they decided who was allowed into the
00:21:27.580 white house and they got to just make those rules themselves and trump said well that's bs why would
00:21:34.260 they get to decide and he opened it up to places like breitbart and gateway pundit and all these
00:21:39.080 other even independent you know journalists and so they were already butthurt about that but
00:21:45.540 And that now it's like, you know, once he's trying to make his own decisions about that, I don't think there's any, you know, no one, no one said what the White House Correspondents Association was doing was illegal.
00:21:55.840 No one said that they were, you know, depriving the right in an illegal way or unconstitutional way of who was allowed.
00:22:03.080 They just got to decide.
00:22:04.160 You get the seat, you get that seat.
00:22:05.620 And by the way, you're not allowed.
00:22:07.360 And so I don't see any problem with the government doing the same thing.
00:22:11.340 And I don't know what law would say you have to follow a particular process than you have to do it. And in terms of viewpoint, I at least think there's an argument to be made that it's not just he doesn't like what they said. I think it's also they're lying. They're misleading the public.
00:22:28.020 It's like propaganda. And it is harmful. And it is a compelling reason, in my opinion, that if you have an outlet that is outright lying and trying to subvert the government, that that is a compelling reason to say, you know, if you're not telling the truth, and if you're misleading the public, then I think I at least have the right to say you're not doing it from inside the White House.
00:22:48.280 you know maybe the first amendment lets you say whatever you want but i don't have to let you in
00:22:53.980 to get the information you can do it just like everybody else in the public has especially in
00:22:58.520 the oval like he doesn't have to let anybody in the oval or he could i mean yeah you mentioned
00:23:03.300 the oval the oval um the dc court has decided that in the oval and in closer like at the airplane
00:23:11.100 with him near his presence there there is more reasonable um where the the president has access
00:23:20.640 to say who's near him who's not right but the the the main thing is actually the press room room
00:23:27.200 and that would be a different story so it's always not really what they're writing but
00:23:33.260 what the access is and whether you've limited the access on other people besides these people and
00:23:39.540 then did you do a process? So like Owen was saying, maybe they are not truth seeking and
00:23:45.660 that's why I'm banning them and they're dangerous. What the court will say is, well, then you
00:23:49.880 have to give them a procedure. There has to be a process, a notice process, a rebuttal
00:23:54.640 process, a reason, a compelling. And that's what they've always indicated in all of the
00:23:59.720 cases in regards to access. Now, during the process, can the people be stayed out? Like
00:24:06.760 he can keep them out while the process is happening while they're deciding yes okay i think
00:24:11.720 that's up to those judges along the way though because they're you know that's what i've seen
00:24:15.500 happen is that there's injunctions there's you know like if they think it's an emergency or for
00:24:21.920 whatever reason that they have to be allowed access then they'll say oh you can't do that
00:24:26.160 until we figure it and i know the other part they usually look at is who's likely to win
00:24:30.620 and then they'll they'll put an injunction in place to say okay we think you're gonna win so
00:24:35.800 we're going to go with your side for now and then we'll decide later if it you know once we've heard
00:24:40.120 the whole case if it changes now i don't i don't know how it's going to play out in this case but
00:24:44.600 i think um you know if i wouldn't be surprised if again the circuit court says you did something
00:24:51.380 wrong and we're going to let them back in in temporarily and then but you know getting back
00:24:58.200 to the political side that marcella was talking about i also think like that is the other game
00:25:02.920 And that's probably the more important game. Frankly, it's a political thing. It's calling attention once again to the fake news, calling attention once again to how he's being treated unfairly. All this drama plays right into Trump's agenda. Even the court case, like it just it all brings more attention to the fact that CNN might not be telling you the truth and MSNOW might not be telling you the truth.
00:25:24.460 And so I think it all benefits Trump. He has two ways to win, as Scott would say, that even if he loses the case, he still wins because he brings all this media attention to the fact that he thinks, at least, that MSNOW and CNN are treating him unfairly and are lying and are misleading the public.
00:25:42.620 And so he's going to win even if he loses.
00:25:45.840 They have to.
00:25:47.220 One interesting thing is they have to report CNN, MSNOW have to report on, and I think political, they have to report on Trump calling them fake news and how they're lying, which is something they've avoided.
00:26:00.260 So it's kind of like he's making, he's forcing them to talk about this.
00:26:03.640 Well, this is like, to me, this is like a, also a win for the news because they like to point out that Trump is a dictator, right?
00:26:11.340 So they're just like, oh, look, he wants to silence the press.
00:26:15.640 And I want to remind him.
00:26:16.360 Wasn't it Obama that, I mean, Obama just claimed, like, I could never do anything like that.
00:26:20.320 But didn't he, like, lock up journalists?
00:26:21.500 Well, that's what I'm trying to say this whole time.
00:26:24.320 So Obama was just talking somewhere. 0.89
00:26:27.760 And, you know, he's like, oh, Trump just, you know, kicked people out of the white hole.
00:26:32.440 You know, imagine if I tried to do that. 0.58
00:26:34.200 And he did.
00:26:34.760 He tried to ban Fox News from the White House and he lost.
00:26:38.760 so yes um you know so it's like let's not pretend like the democrats are so clean because i mean
00:26:46.360 even that dsa pos in maine if you know you know um the socialists you know fox news tried to ask
00:26:54.960 him a question oh fox news i'm not talking to you i'm not talking to you like he's already doing
00:26:59.580 that so it's like let's not pretend this doesn't happen on both sides um jim acosta personally
00:27:05.540 you know, I was like, let's go with the Acosta name and the Acosta because he was absolutely
00:27:11.520 a disgrace when he was reporting in the White House. I thought he should have been thrown out
00:27:17.480 long before. But, you know, in my mind, I'm just like, well, when these people are in the in the
00:27:22.720 press briefing room, don't talk to them. Don't take any of their questions. Just let them sit
00:27:27.680 there because they're going to report whatever they want anyway. So don't call on them to give
00:27:32.340 them their own soundbite, just kind of ice them out and let them report whatever they want. But
00:27:36.980 the base of the new people that watch this news are going to love this because it's proving to
00:27:43.760 them that Trump is a king and a dictator. So that's where I think it might backfire because
00:27:49.680 his base already knows and loves this. But the people that we need to hope will still vote for
00:27:58.100 Republicans, this is a good op for the left, I think. So we're going to have to see how it plays
00:28:03.980 out. And Owen, what were you going to say? Well, I was just saying, I think, frankly,
00:28:10.480 Obama was much more of this dictator type when you really look at what he did. I think he tried
00:28:15.880 to prosecute journalists. He tried to go after them pretty hard. And so I just think it's not
00:28:22.400 unprecedented that this stuff happens and um you know again i like i said i kind of would predict
00:28:28.560 that at least the first court case on this which of course is coming very quickly um then you know
00:28:34.960 yeah the trump administration will probably lose the case but i i do think they should appeal it
00:28:40.260 all the way to supreme court and i think they have at least a good argument i i mean i don't know if
00:28:43.800 the win and might go the way that you're saying it went in the past where they'll say yeah it's
00:28:47.760 have a process you have to do that you know and but i i do think there is at least a good argument
00:28:53.420 that says there's nothing in the first amendment that says you're allowed access to the white
00:28:57.080 house there is no legal basis for them to claim that they have access to the white house and
00:29:02.160 they're entitled to that or even that it has to be some kind of like bare thing like i i don't
00:29:07.900 know that there's anything that says you can't choose who you let into the white house i mean
00:29:11.840 that's to me it's it's just not protected by the constitution and i don't know if there's any other
00:29:17.480 law that allows for that. And I understand you're saying, well, once you've done it,
00:29:21.980 you have to follow a process to undo it. But if there's no legal basis for it, why does there
00:29:25.940 need to be a process? Well, we're about to really find out because with people like Stephen Miller
00:29:31.740 and everybody else, this will go as far as they can take it. Yeah, Marianne, put them in a separate
00:29:38.080 room. I just say, while they're there, if you don't like them, don't call on them. Ice them
00:29:43.680 out. They don't get to come into the Oval Office anymore. They can sit in the press briefing room
00:29:48.340 and play Scrabble on their iPhones. That would be funny if you just created like an overflow room
00:29:53.980 and you just put all the CNN and MSNOW people in there and they had a closed camera feed,
00:29:57.580 but they couldn't ask any questions. They would love it. It'd be even funnier if you had like a
00:30:02.060 live feed of them just watching them watch from the sidelines. If it didn't give them material,
00:30:09.560 that's the thing but it it does give them material this is like i can just hear them all now you know
00:30:14.980 i can see jake tapper with his face like this is a disgrace and like everyone's so offended it's
00:30:20.820 like again i think i think that plays to trump's too i mean it's both it it helps both sides i
00:30:26.140 think trump obviously wants this to be a headline he wouldn't do this if he didn't want the headlines
00:30:31.180 so who's watching cnn and ms now it's just their base it's not gonna i don't know they're they're
00:30:37.480 just going to carry on more and make people at the end of the day I hope Trump doesn't succeed
00:30:43.620 because not because I don't like Trump I love Trump but it he's not going to be the only president
00:30:50.200 there's going to be democrat presidents that are going to and like Owen was saying before they
00:30:55.340 didn't allow um other media like Breitbart and other uh conservative media to the to the press
00:31:03.580 So maybe with this case, maybe he is in a way 40 chess in the future. So it's very clear what is allowed so that the next president can't disband this whole notion of having conservative press. There could be maybe he's thinking outside the box, I guess.
00:31:27.760 Yeah, I guess. Well, you know, we'll see how it plays out. But interesting. I mean, listen, I'm all for it, but that's just my opinion. Okay, so I'm going to move on to, I think what I want to do first, because I was trying to decide which order. So tomorrow, Mark Mitchell will be joining us again. He's formerly from Rasmussen Reports, now with his company called The Honest Polling Company.
00:31:52.240 and um i think it's i want to play a clip of him today so we don't take up the time doing it
00:31:59.220 tomorrow i want to be able to just talk to him tomorrow and you know you have to understand
00:32:04.140 he's just talking about the data um i know some people were upset last time like oh you know
00:32:11.460 you're trying to black pill then this and it's it's not it's it's not about me and you that are
00:32:17.240 going to vote for Republicans, again, straight down the ticket. There's a big issue with the
00:32:23.000 midterms of independents not voting with Republicans anymore, actual socialists who voted for Trump
00:32:32.520 this last time, mostly middle class people, and Trump's losing a lot of the men. His numbers with
00:32:40.400 men has dropped a lot, uh, under 40. Um, and this is basically because of economics in my opinion,
00:32:48.460 because people just can't afford things. So I want to Sean, you're one of the people that
00:32:55.980 wanted him to come back on. I'm reading your comment. That's funny. Um, so I want to play
00:33:00.680 this clip of him on Bannon and it's like a five or six minute clip, but let's like really listen
00:33:07.200 to what he's saying clear your heads just listen to what he's saying so we know who have we have
00:33:14.400 to talk to um about voting for the midterms otherwise we're going socialist okay so if we
00:33:21.080 don't convince people and we don't come up with a plan the plan's going to be socialist so just
00:33:27.080 let's pay attention here we go or church you walk you walk us through it any way you want to walk
00:33:33.460 us through it, sir. I think this is the most important chart I've ever had you put up on the
00:33:37.800 show. And I think really Republicans need to step back and take a look at this because they don't
00:33:43.300 understand public opinion. Now, personally about me, you know me, I'm a right wing guy,
00:33:47.860 but I'm on Team America. My job is to represent the voters, not any political party. And so for
00:33:54.800 the last year and a half, I've been pounding my fist on the table, trying to give them advice,
00:33:58.660 trying to help them govern in a way that americans will appreciate it you know we will get the things
00:34:05.040 that americans ask for out of trump's mandate and i'm telling you it's been like pushing on a noodle
00:34:10.100 it's been really tough and at this point the polling does look like the republicans are going
00:34:15.040 to lose pretty pretty decently i mean that just says what it is i can't sugarcoat it that's not
00:34:20.320 what i'm here to do but this chart really explains why and so what you're looking at is one of the
00:34:25.600 most important questions you can ask. And it's YouGov data, but it's because they have so much.
00:34:29.300 It's such a really great time series here. Is the economy getting better or worse? And as you can
00:34:35.540 see, going into the COVID period during Trump's first term, people were basically split on whether
00:34:41.340 the economy was getting better or worse. And then all of a sudden, Americans got a really big wake
00:34:46.840 up call. They got a bucket of ice cold water dumped on their head. They had COVID and they
00:34:52.080 had the government response, massive bipartisan bailout stimulus bill, closing of all of the
00:34:59.020 small businesses across the country, everybody going to Walmart. And then this massive run-up
00:35:05.120 of asset prices caused by the way that we handled this crisis. And what happened is economy getting
00:35:11.540 worse, shot up from basically the low 20s all the way up to 60. That's that red line there.
00:35:17.280 And it's been there the whole time. So now a lot of people are saying, well, Republicans deserve to win because Biden caused this mess or because, look, we have a 5.1 percent GDP all of a sudden or the stock markets at record highs.
00:35:30.460 I don't know what to tell you. There's been a K-shaped recovery. Americans, you know, the people who aren't the wealthiest 1 percent essentially, have just absolutely been pounded by everything.
00:35:41.180 And you can point to the CPI. But this is about decades of wage suppression. This is about asset inflation and the cost of housing. It's about the fact that they have to pay 400 bucks every time they want to fill the refrigerator. It's not about eggs and gas prices. It really isn't. I mean, you know, the gas price is an unfortunate symbolic thing right now. But this is about people paying like rent size checks in order to have health care. And then they still have a $10,000 family deductible.
00:36:07.580 Like, these are the problems that Republicans have to figure out how to fix if they want to win. So that red line, if you trace it, dipped two times. And the only two times, the only thing that affected Americans' opinions that the economy was no longer getting worse was the inauguration of Biden and the inauguration of Trump.
00:36:26.460 And what that means is that people were hopeful that they voted for somebody new this person was going to come in and fix the economy.
00:36:33.580 And as you can see with the Biden situation, it didn't help at all.
00:36:37.140 It went from like 30 all the way back up to 65. 0.99
00:36:41.040 People were like, no, no, this guy, he's retarded. 1.00
00:36:43.920 He doesn't know what he's doing. 0.98
00:36:45.680 And right around that spike there in the red line right in the middle of the graph is when basically people decided, no, we made a mistake.
00:36:53.160 We want Trump back.
00:36:55.020 So now look, there's right where the green and red line kissed there, right on the right
00:36:59.760 side.
00:37:00.180 That's Trump inauguration.
00:37:01.600 And people were like, finally, I like what we're seeing out of this guy.
00:37:05.140 First couple of months of his second administration were great.
00:37:07.780 And then all of a sudden, you know, Liberation Day hit and sort of doge went away and people
00:37:12.580 like something's not right here.
00:37:14.440 And now those red and those purple lines are farther apart than they've pretty much ever
00:37:19.480 been on the chart, almost as bad as the height of COVID. 0.59
00:37:22.700 And a lot of that's obviously because of the Iran situation and the way that prices haven't come down.
00:37:29.340 Now, you could say, again, Trump has gotten CPI under control.
00:37:33.300 But I'm here to tell you that's not enough, according to this chart for Americans.
00:37:37.160 And this is the brutal reality of about how public opinion works.
00:37:41.200 These people do not watch CNBC.
00:37:43.560 They have to deal with their wallet every single day.
00:37:46.580 And Republicans seem so insulated for that.
00:37:48.960 They think they're going to come in.
00:37:50.700 They're going to be able to run on the Dow hitting $50,000, and they're going to be able to run on these investments that are going to pay off over a 10- or 20-year timeline.
00:38:00.160 Americans aren't feeling this anymore, and we're not in the country where everybody is a binary red team, blue team voter.
00:38:07.700 So here's what I've been saying for a very long time, and I want to say it again.
00:38:12.220 Americans are probably going to vote for socialists this time.
00:38:16.020 Now, America is not like they don't want to be a socialist country.
00:38:19.440 People think we're a capitalistic country, but they also think that the traditional conservative parts of capitalism have failed.
00:38:27.980 This idea that we can continue to run on art laugher and Reaganomics and tax cuts for corporations and that eventually people will realize that that's the principled position and that we need to go back to that or everything else is socialism.
00:38:40.300 Those days are past because Americans are increasingly becoming socialistic out of desperation.
00:38:45.780 And if you want to beat socialism, the only alternative is to focus on rebuilding the middle class every day.
00:38:53.600 That's got to be your primary focus.
00:38:55.080 And that's what people, I think, thought they were getting out of the second Trump administration.
00:38:59.040 They wanted somebody to get in there and take retribution against a broken system.
00:39:04.120 That's important.
00:39:05.200 They wanted accountability and reform for the federal government, drain the swamp, waste, fraud, and abuse, DOGE.
00:39:13.280 You were talking about judges early in Trump's term. He had basically a mandate to impeach all these people. People don't want violent Venezuelan gang leaders here. And two to one, people wanted Judge Bosberg impeached. And that was way back in March of 2025.
00:39:28.660 You know, Congress whiffed on that. And we can talk all we want to about it now. But the window is basically closed because we're here a month and a half away from an election where the Democrats are up nine points among likely voters right now. And that's with a post-RNC bump.
00:39:43.800 So, I mean, they're going to lose Congress. Like the Republicans are almost certainly going to lose Congress. And at this point, as a pollster, there's nothing I can really do other than, Kimmy, and I guess you have this, you can't vote for socialist messaging, and that will get a lot of your core Republican voters out.
00:40:00.400 But it's not going to get that 35% of Trump's 2024 big tent coalition that was independents, crossover Democrats, working class people, minorities, and get this, actually socialists.
00:40:14.320 Trump got a lot of socialist votes, believe it or not, because 50% of under 40 Trump voters said that they would actually vote for a socialist.
00:40:23.080 And we asked this before, and three-quarters of the under-40 Trump voters said that they would support nationalizing major industries.
00:40:31.360 Almost 60 percent of them support excess wealth confiscation.
00:40:34.940 And now we have a new poll out, out of the Honest Poll.
00:40:38.460 And, I mean, it looks like, again, this is a repudiation of traditional conservative economics.
00:40:46.540 Okay, so Kitty Bits, he does not live in D.C.
00:40:51.060 He lives near me on the Jersey Shore, and Scott respected him a lot.
00:40:56.580 And I'm going to give it to you first, Owen.
00:41:01.100 Well, I do think he's saying some things that I recognize are true, but I do think a lot of this is propaganda as well.
00:41:09.220 I think that, you know, a lot of the things he's saying, I think the Trump administration is fully aware of, and they are doing at least what they think they can do to try and address these problems. Trump's been trying to get down drug prices. He's been trying to get down energy prices. He's been trying to get down grocery prices.
00:41:28.420 He's been, you know, promising this $5,000 check to everybody.
00:41:33.320 Like they certainly recognize the problem and they're doing what they can to do it.
00:41:37.540 I think I would agree that there is a lot of opportunity to redo our health care system.
00:41:43.780 I've talked about that before and what I think we should do. 0.96
00:41:46.200 But and I think the Iran war, you know, would have been much better if we had gotten out of that in the spring. 0.58
00:41:51.800 So it wasn't a current issue and we didn't have six dollar gas prices.
00:41:55.480 So, like, I'm not denying what he's saying.
00:41:57.800 I am just saying that part of the part of it is the fake news aspect of it, where it's like places like CNN and MSNOW and most major media publications are highlighting all the problems because it sells newspapers or sells clicks or whatever.
00:42:12.560 And they don't talk about these victories. You don't hear about these victories. You know, you have Trump accounts, you have all these other things that are making life better for a lot of people.
00:42:20.620 and it doesn't get nearly the same media attention as all the negative stuff and so you know i i
00:42:27.520 don't know exactly how it's going to play out in the midterms it's really kind of a crapshoot in
00:42:31.780 my mind just because you have all the redistricting you have a lot more money coming from the
00:42:37.000 republican side this cycle and so there may be some change between now and november i don't know
00:42:43.360 but and i wouldn't be surprised if it goes the way mark is saying but i i do hope it doesn't
00:42:49.200 And I think we should try and do everything we can to get everybody out to vote because midterms typically do have a lower turnout, which means there's more opportunity.
00:42:56.120 If you get people to come out for it and convince them that it really is important, then you might be able to have an outsized impact compared to a presidential election cycle where a much higher percentage of people are going to vote.
00:43:09.480 So, you know, I don't think we should be defeatist about it.
00:43:12.580 I think we should try and do everything we can to get the socialists out or keep them out and to swing things the way we want so that the Trump administration still has control of Congress and we don't end up with two years of, you know, just impeachments and whatever else they're going to do.
00:43:28.980 But I do think, you know, if I had to bet on it today, I'd say, sure, I probably agree with Mark that we're more likely to lose them in terms, at least in the House.
00:43:35.940 I think I've seen some predictions, at least, that will probably keep the Senate.
00:43:41.060 But I don't think it's a, you know, done deal at this point.
00:43:44.240 I think there is a chance and I think we should fight for it everywhere we possibly can.
00:43:49.340 So, you know, I think, yes, there are some things I disagree with or think they should
00:43:54.900 have done a better job with.
00:43:55.920 But I do think at least where they can, I think the Trump administration is following
00:44:00.340 this advice.
00:44:01.160 Like they are doing what they can to try and make things more affordable for people.
00:44:05.300 and speaking to those types of issues.
00:44:07.580 It's just the media doesn't cover it.
00:44:09.960 Well, so I'm watching the comments.
00:44:12.460 It's amazing.
00:44:14.500 So you guys have to understand,
00:44:17.020 anyone watching Scott Adams School that watched Scott Adams,
00:44:21.740 you guys are so much more informed than your average American, okay?
00:44:27.700 You know so much more.
00:44:29.860 You're paying attention.
00:44:31.300 You're smarter.
00:44:32.580 You're more aware.
00:44:33.340 so you have to understand like first of all i do live in the real world i don't have to live in
00:44:39.120 arkansas to be someone not in a bubble um i own a few businesses everything is blue collar um
00:44:47.660 and i'll tell you right now my on the conservative end my business expenses have now gone up 68
00:44:57.540 68%. 68%. And you know what, Marcella, we were saying the other day, like I can't pass that
00:45:04.000 across to my customers, but we had a talk and we're going to have to put a surcharge on our
00:45:10.280 jobs now because our fuel prices, our whole company runs on fuel. All of our blue collar
00:45:16.440 friends, their businesses generally run on fuel talking about diesel. So I want to say,
00:45:22.260 you know don't dismiss what he's saying because you believe something when i talk to people in
00:45:29.580 the real world they have no clue what's happening in the news they know what's happening in their
00:45:35.100 bank account they know what happens when they go to the store they know what happens when they have
00:45:39.040 to put gas in their car they know what happens when their kids want money for something and they
00:45:42.540 just don't have extra money for the thing so you know you could be mad at him you could be mad at
00:45:48.200 me you know for the opinion but in the real world people are not informed like you guys are
00:45:54.040 they just know what their wallet's saying um okay marcella take it away i think trump has to do the
00:46:01.080 republicans and trump have to do two things and i don't discount um erica and and this is what
00:46:07.960 what mark was talking about is regarding people that don't really watch the news it's like how
00:46:13.480 what do you think? Is the economy doing better or worse? And even if what Owen's saying is true,
00:46:20.440 they, and I'm sure Owen would agree, their perception is not reality, right? So their
00:46:25.080 perception is it's not well. Two things that he can do. One is end the Iran war or have some kind
00:46:34.360 of agreement in place so that the oil goes down in price. The other thing that I don't see anybody
00:46:41.320 doing is okay so the economy is not doing that well will they do better under a communist con
00:46:47.960 under a communist country no way jose you know so the thing is i don't see a full-on fight
00:46:55.560 on the idea that maybe just give us more time to perfect and help the middle class but to go
00:47:03.560 full on socialist what does that look like and what does that mean to your economy if you think
00:47:09.960 you're paying high prices now wait until the socialists get into power absolutely that's
00:47:16.120 what i don't see anybody talking about because if you look at even semi-socialist countries like in
00:47:24.440 europe in sweden and in iceland well iceland that's not a socialist it's not socialist but
00:47:30.840 sweden and other countries like that um the price of oil and diesel and all sorts of things is way
00:47:38.920 sky high um europe itself has a lot of socialist programs this is what we wanted so you want that
00:47:47.960 um also do you want free health care like canada has like england has then you're gonna wait
00:47:54.120 forever i want to not that they don't do it i want to see them to full on fear propaganda about
00:48:03.560 what could happen to you if you're in a socialist country i want to see that and two and the first
00:48:08.520 one i want to see him make negotiate a deal and i think he's gonna be able to do it uh with iran
00:48:16.680 oh god i hope so i mean but it would be great if it was before the midterms you win the midterms
00:48:21.960 i think it's just like it's like the third act kind of thing in a movie where it's like
00:48:27.000 you don't see it happening but then everything goes into place and it's almost last minute but
00:48:33.560 he wins the the whole entire thing i could see that happening um kitty bits i don't know why
00:48:39.240 you're you're you're just freaking me out today no one here thinks communism or socialism is the
00:48:47.160 answer of course our lives would be so horrendous if they get into power we wouldn't even have a
00:48:55.880 card to put oil in exactly like none of us are saying it would work but what you have to understand
00:49:01.880 and okay you're just as smart as your neighbors great i'm just saying people aren't paying
00:49:07.000 attention to the news and reports and data but it's up to us it's up and and like obviously we
00:49:15.240 just talked about fake news for a half an hour and that they lie and put fear out there the news
00:49:20.920 wants socialism to come in like this is all part of their thing i don't know why but they do maybe
00:49:26.280 it's just because they hate trump and republicans but the thing is is that the people that aren't
00:49:30.680 paying attention are only paying attention to their bottom line so they're saying yes and yes
00:49:36.840 kitty bits yes we paid a ton of money under biden that has nothing to do with right now
00:49:42.680 but what happens is is when the people in power are not coming through for the average person
00:49:49.320 this is why we ebb and flow all the time and we try the other people and then they get in and they
00:49:55.080 screw up everything and we're like let's try the other people but the the people that are paying
00:49:59.880 attention. I'm voting for Republicans straight down the ticket. You couldn't pay me. I can't
00:50:05.940 even see it down the road of ever voting for a Democrat. They have lost their ever loving minds
00:50:11.160 completely. But it's not about me and it's not about you. It's about the people that are not
00:50:17.180 paying attention, which is honestly the majority. Yes, the middle class people are smart, but they're
00:50:23.040 not paying attention to this. They're going to work. They're with their families, with their
00:50:27.280 kids trying to make ends meet. So what we're saying is we want the Republicans to stay in
00:50:33.220 power more than anything. What do we have to do for that? What is the messaging? How do we help
00:50:40.060 persuade people? Go ahead, Owen. Yeah. And I want to tie this back to what Scott, I think Scott
00:50:45.740 would say about this is you have to remember people aren't rational. It's not about the fact.
00:50:50.440 It's not about, you know, the reality. It's about how people perceive that. And a lot of that is
00:50:54.960 emotional. And it ties into what you're saying in the sense of, if you see your bottom line,
00:51:00.220 you can call that a fact, but I think it's more about the emotional part of that.
00:51:04.420 That's why when you can, you know, you can look at the facts on the graph and say, well,
00:51:07.760 inflation was 15% under Biden and it's only 3% or whatever now. And that makes sense rationally
00:51:14.580 that we're better off now than we were under a Democrat president. But I think that doesn't
00:51:20.220 matter because people are still seeing that they're paying so much and they don't have higher
00:51:24.240 wages. And they are just looking at that. And it's not emotionally, it's not easy to convince
00:51:29.980 someone to say, well, that's the other guy's fault. And, you know, we really fixed it because
00:51:34.620 it doesn't feel like you fixed it. You know, if you don't see prices coming down or you don't see
00:51:40.100 wages going up, then it doesn't feel like it's better. And the feeling is what you have to appeal
00:51:46.940 to, to persuade people. And so I think as much as we can, we need to make it visceral, visual,
00:51:54.220 you know, more persuasive to be able to say, we have a plan that's better than their plan,
00:51:59.600 and you should really vote for the Republicans to keep Congress. Otherwise, you're going to be
00:52:03.820 in for a world of hurt. That has to be the type of message that goes out. And I'm not sure how
00:52:09.300 well they're doing with that. I don't think Republicans are generally very good at that.
00:52:13.060 Trump is certainly a lot better than most in that regard because he certainly gets it.
00:52:17.720 But I think it doesn't mean that he's getting through enough to make a difference.
00:52:24.100 And even with lots of money, unless you're sending the right message with that money, you're not necessarily going to get people to come out and vote for you.
00:52:31.680 Marcella, anything on this?
00:52:34.820 No, he's right.
00:52:36.040 Owen's right about that.
00:52:37.900 it's more emotional, but then go to the emotions. You think it's expensive now. You won't even have
00:52:46.280 a car to even put oil into it. Or one of the things, my best friend lived in the USSR. The
00:52:53.000 USSR would basically turn off your heater whenever they wanted to. That had central control over 0.88
00:53:02.420 your building and what happened to um so one of the things that you can say about the democrats
00:53:09.980 and obviously them being extreme leftists now in the democratic party not the clinton type of
00:53:17.560 democrat is that that's going to be a thing that they they admire they admire um their
00:53:23.680 environmentalists one of the reasons that diesel is so high is that there hasn't been refineries
00:53:29.900 being built here in the in America as much as there should be um so this this whole situation
00:53:36.460 has been one yes it's the war but one of them has it has been created by the climate change
00:53:44.380 environmentalists some of the taxes in the oil in in California I only know California is there's
00:53:51.100 is taxed to the wazoo because of the homeless tax the uh environmentalist tax the this tax
00:53:58.940 all of it obviously by naturally standards is possibly not going to where it's saying it's
00:54:04.220 going but even if it was it's still not right so um you know cut taxes do something but also
00:54:12.860 remember it's all emotional so hit the emotional part go out there and and speak to the american
00:54:19.820 people everywhere not just your base but the young people about all of this um and when i say young
00:54:29.020 i say under 40. yeah it's not teenagers or whatever but one of the things is like this whole entire
00:54:36.220 situation was created by the left the fact that we don't have uh that we're over regulated that
00:54:43.820 were overtaxed i'm sure new jersey has taxes on their on their gasoline taxes on whatever it is
00:54:52.220 so you know remove one of the things they could do also with them having congress um and be gop
00:55:01.900 right now is remove the uh a certain level of income remove the the taxes tax yeah i mean i
00:55:09.500 I thought we were going to do that. That would be great. Um, I really feel, I really feel for
00:55:14.400 the people that, you know, they're just, the struggle is real as we say, right. The struggle
00:55:22.120 is real and I get it. I mean, if I was like, I'm thankful, I'm so thankful that I'm in an okay
00:55:30.300 position. Um, but if this was maybe like, you know, years ago before I got to where, I mean,
00:55:37.520 listen, I'm not retiring, trust me, but like, I'm okay right now. Like I'm not complaining
00:55:42.260 about, you know, where I stand, but I feel so bad. I mean, I'm cutting back. Like I was in the
00:55:50.260 grocery store the other day and I was listening to Patrick bet David in my ears on a podcast and
00:55:56.160 I forget who he had on, but they were talking about diesel and whatever, which really, really
00:55:59.940 affects my bottom line. I'm in the store and I'm like, I'm not getting that. That's too expensive.
00:56:05.180 I'm not getting that. And I've been feeling that for a long time. And I'm just like,
00:56:09.000 you know, I'm picking and choosing. I'm like, you know what? I'm going to just start cooking
00:56:13.240 some stuff and put it in the freezer for the winter. Like if things get really rough,
00:56:17.180 I'll have some food already prepared. Like these are probably the lower grocery prices right now
00:56:22.220 compared to what might be coming, you know, and I get panicky. And so, you know, it's just like,
00:56:28.580 I just can't imagine like not being able to buy my medication. Like, you know, people rely on
00:56:34.220 their medication. You know, what if you can't pay for it? What if you can't go to the doctor? I
00:56:38.660 mean, my health insurance is a fricking fortune and my, my, um, what's that called? Deductible
00:56:44.260 is ridiculous. So I'm just paying out the wazoo for insurance. Um, it's scary. So then now people 0.52
00:56:51.320 are picking and choosing like, well, maybe I'll take this medication, but not this one. And maybe
00:56:55.840 I won't go to the doctor and get that test because the copay and the deductibles are too much. Like
00:57:01.340 it's scary. So that's what we're saying. We want the Republicans to win the alternative
00:57:07.460 of socialism or the Democrats is like the worst case scenario. And I fear that if it does go that
00:57:15.540 way, that there's kind of no coming back because it's just going to throw everything into so much
00:57:21.200 more chaos. So I, I I'm, I'm very hopeful that Trump will be able to get great messaging out
00:57:28.880 to everybody that needs to hear it um you know we'll keep our fingers crossed on this stuff and
00:57:34.600 it's our job also to help people understand maybe they don't understand what those you know that
00:57:40.740 these people are socialists slash communists and what could happen so i think we need to talk to
00:57:44.920 people but i think we need to reframe the election the election is not whether it's gonna give you
00:57:53.880 the best economy possible the the election reframe should be america or america has to survive
00:58:02.840 this this socialist takeover so it's the socialist takeover it's you must go out to vote unless you
00:58:11.240 want to not see america anymore like yeah i don't know how to impress upon you what can lead what
00:58:20.920 can happen to America if this were to one by one allow a socialist into your government.
00:58:31.240 The reason I moved here was because I wanted this not to be a socialist country, right?
00:58:36.680 A lot of us who are immigrants who came here not wanting to come here, but needing to come
00:58:43.480 here because of our countries and the socialist movements within our countries, you have to go out
00:58:49.880 and vote and you have to vote on the candidates to push the America that we want. We don't
00:58:56.440 want a Marxist America. We, we had the USSR that imploded. We had East Germany that imploded.
00:59:04.300 We have Cuba who I think there was another blackout. We don't want that. This is, this 0.94
00:59:10.040 is not even about your diesel being expensive or your oil, which is I'm, I'm sure it's emotional.
00:59:16.320 is about survival yeah and being able to keep the america you need and want and act yes and i know
00:59:26.240 we're we're at the time but um i'm going to give this one to owen um kitty i see you also asking
00:59:32.160 about voter fraud yeah that's a huge freaking problem which is all the more reason why we have
00:59:37.280 to get out and vote like we have to overwhelmingly not let socialists win in america so is there a 0.93
00:59:45.360 way owen to stop voter fraud we know we're we're trying but i mean we've got these crazy judges
00:59:50.640 and um i i don't i you know i don't see that happening before midterms
00:59:58.480 oop did i lose owen
01:00:03.120 well owen might have ducked off for yeah there definitely can be um voter fraud so what do we
01:00:10.240 what did scott say for border fraud we gotta vote even more so yes and overcome the voter fraud um
01:00:16.800 so always always make your math in your head that there will always be fraud you know but uh you
01:00:24.640 got that's why everybody has to go out and vote and i know like owen was saying most people do
01:00:29.840 not go out to vote because it's a presidential election no you have to go out and vote yes
01:00:35.360 there's expensive prices out there i guess what you won't even have the notion of prices if you
01:00:41.440 keep voting the social is in yeah so you have we have to vote overwhelmingly everybody take
01:00:47.840 take people with you but the the way to do it is to really explain to people like we keep saying
01:00:54.400 like what could happen okay can you hear me now yes okay sorry um i so i i yeah i think there's
01:01:02.160 very little we can do now. I mean, there are some states where we're already voting. So like,
01:01:05.680 it's, it's time, like midterms are here. So whatever we've done, we have done. Now,
01:01:10.560 I do think Trump has been trying to tackle this as best he can. And I think he's had some success,
01:01:15.520 like they are prosecuting a lot of non-citizen voters, and they're, you know, deploying monitors 0.84
01:01:21.740 to all sorts of places. And they're, they at least have made partial progress on the mail-in
01:01:27.500 ballots like where they you know stopped some of the stuff that the u.s postal service was going
01:01:33.440 to do and i don't even know exactly where that landed but i know it was kind of like they made
01:01:37.340 some progress and the judges kind of stopped it because they said it was too close to the midterms
01:01:41.940 and things like that so it may not be everything we want it to be it certainly isn't but i think
01:01:47.240 there's at least partial progress there but i i would echo what you said erica the the main thing
01:01:53.400 is just to get out and vote, get all the people, you know, to get out and vote, get as many people
01:01:57.960 out there to vote. That's the only remedy we have. The only action we can really take is to just put
01:02:04.700 so many votes in the system that they can't cheat without it becoming so obvious that they won't
01:02:08.660 get away with it. Yes. And that's, that's the best we can do. Yes. It does help to volunteer
01:02:13.460 and help candidates like just do whatever they need, do whatever helps alleviate them. And also
01:02:19.380 who, oh gosh, who was just telling us, was it Steve Cortez? No, I forget who it was,
01:02:26.020 but they said, if you do show up in person and vote early in person, in person and vote early,
01:02:32.100 it saves a ton of money also for the Republican party. That was Steve Cortez that said that.
01:02:37.340 Okay. So, so that's important. So vote in person as early as you can bring people with you. If you
01:02:44.120 vote in person early it saves the republicans a lot of money to then keep pushing ads out while
01:02:51.060 the final days count down um and you ask people what can i do to help what can i do to volunteer
01:02:57.180 like do you need me to pick people up you know you can offer on i'm just making this up facebook
01:03:03.180 like hey if anyone needs a ride to the polling like maybe there's people that don't have a car
01:03:09.100 or gas is expensive or whatever it is you know so or they don't know that early voting is open
01:03:14.060 right now right i mean not in every state yet but some now and most very soon yes so it's going to
01:03:22.460 definitely be a group effort you guys and we have to be part of it like you can't sit it out you
01:03:27.220 can't get upset like don't get upset like at the things mark mitchell's talking about it's it's
01:03:32.000 just reality i know what scott says about polling and data yes yes yes but he also relied on talking
01:03:39.000 to them to get some information also. So he'll be here tomorrow. And if you guys want to drop
01:03:44.520 any questions for me, um, on our post on X after the show, I'll do my best to work in your questions,
01:03:51.840 but like now's the time it's crunch time. So I thought it was a good time to have him back to
01:03:56.540 understand, you know, and you know what, Kitty, maybe tomorrow he can give us a lot of ideas of
01:04:01.780 what we can do like this late in the game to, to ensure that Republicans win. It's going to be
01:04:08.340 tough. And I mean, history says it's going to be tough. It's just the way it goes. Sometimes it
01:04:14.480 goes more often. It goes to the team not in power. Not always, but this is going to be tough. And
01:04:21.820 you would think it would be easy because socialism's on the other side, but it's not.
01:04:26.960 It's not going to be easy because of the economy. So let's ask him all sorts of questions tomorrow.
01:04:32.640 So drop them to me and we'll read them over and see what we can do. And sometimes you got to have
01:04:38.280 like a tough show and talk about things because we can't pretend everything's okay we know who
01:04:44.020 we're voting for but we need to push it along marcella anything in closing then if to go out
01:04:52.120 of vote um but also to volunteer in your area to go out knock on doors talk to your neighbors
01:04:59.600 tell them you're you know don't obviously get into a fight but talk to them about the economy
01:05:05.760 don't don't make it be about like republican or democrat make it about whether you want to still
01:05:13.440 have an economy or whether you want to have a controlled dictatorship under socialism you know
01:05:19.640 um obviously not in those words but it's like oh so you're having a bad time economically okay
01:05:26.360 well it seems like you're gonna vote for somebody that's gonna make it worse and this is how you
01:05:31.760 know and be understanding you know understand each other um because all we want is the best
01:05:39.040 for america that's right yeah that's right oh and anything in closing i think it's an important
01:05:44.140 topic i mean i think we mostly covered it and i the final thing i would just say is that it's not
01:05:49.080 the end of the world if we don't win the house like it yes it's bad i'm not saying don't fight
01:05:53.520 absolutely fight but i personally think it's much more important that we win 2028 i think what i'm
01:06:00.460 expecting if we do lose the House is just that nothing's going to get through Congress, and
01:06:03.700 you're going to have a whole bunch of theater going on, which we see all the time anyway. It'll
01:06:07.240 just be on the other side, and it'll be ridiculous, and we'll talk about all that as it happens, but
01:06:12.080 Trump will keep doing his executive orders, and we'll keep doing essentially what we have been 0.56
01:06:17.720 doing in many ways for the next two years, and it might even help us in 2028 to show how ridiculous 0.98
01:06:22.800 these people are. So I'm only saying that to say I'm not blackpilling. Even if we lose, it's not 0.88
01:06:29.740 the end of the world that's really the only message i'm saying yes it is i'm just kidding
01:06:34.060 in my mind it is it is because it's the beginning of the end um okay i've seen it happen in other
01:06:40.880 countries i i you know we can talk about the the you know the signs of it in another show but it
01:06:49.620 is the beginning of an end that we don't i don't want to see in america oh i i agree that we should
01:06:54.900 fight it every step of the way and that it's it is a loss if we lose control of the house but i'm
01:06:59.460 just saying, in the grand scheme of things, it's not like the end of the world if that
01:07:03.600 happened.
01:07:04.420 Like, I'm talking about midterms.
01:07:06.560 Like, I'm not, I mean, if we become a socialist country, yes, that's an awful scenario.
01:07:11.920 And I hope we never get there.
01:07:13.080 But I don't think this particular midterms is like end of the world stuff.
01:07:18.440 But I just, you know, I still fight, still try and get it where we want it to be.
01:07:23.080 And it is very important.
01:07:24.500 It's just not, you know, you don't need to black pill and be like, oh, I got to go get
01:07:27.820 in my bunker and stock up.
01:07:29.460 yet get your poker it is a slippery slope but you know what and the impeachment the impeachment of
01:07:38.000 trump will start there'll be 10 articles of impeachment on trump they're gonna try to put
01:07:43.300 him back in jail like i'm so sick of it oh my god like i just miss the old days of democrats
01:07:49.240 and republicans pretending to work together it was so refreshing um thanks crusher so yeah i think
01:07:55.460 it's important to talk about. So we're going to do it again tomorrow, but in a much different way
01:08:00.240 with Mark Mitchell. So again, he was at Rasmussen Reports forever polling, and now he owns the
01:08:09.180 Honest Polling Company. He had a falling out with Rasmussen. And honestly, like he talked about it,
01:08:15.080 they wanted him to, this is what he said, they wanted him to kind of fudge numbers to make it
01:08:25.320 look better for Trump. And he's just like, you're not helping anyone by doing that.
01:08:29.740 And then they silenced him for a long time. I asked him to come on back in January. I asked
01:08:36.220 him to come on because I know his relationship with Scott and he couldn't. He's like, I'm not
01:08:41.800 allowed to talk to any media. And then when he was finally able to leave and start his own company,
01:08:49.240 he's doing his thing now. So he'll be back on tomorrow. It'll be interesting.
01:08:53.600 And I think we should embrace it and then amplify what we need to do.
01:08:58.140 So thanks for staying late, you guys.
01:09:00.800 Thanks for staying late.
01:09:01.820 I know, Rob, we're all sick of it.
01:09:04.460 So we really appreciate everybody for being here.
01:09:08.720 If you could hit the thumbs up, the like, the subscribe before you go.
01:09:12.820 You know, we're all in this together.
01:09:16.040 You know, I think I would think and guess and hope the majority of us watching this want,
01:09:20.680 you know, our constitution to be our guiding principle and, um, to stay under those laws
01:09:27.940 and values and to, you know, keep America, um, free and great and prosperous and better than
01:09:36.540 it could ever be. Like, let's have it grow into something amazing and even more beautiful. Um,
01:09:42.540 Owen and Marcella, I'll see you guys tomorrow. Thank you so much for today. Thanks everybody.
01:09:48.240 and thanks to Scott and Shelly for allowing this show to continue. Um, and let's like really go
01:09:54.620 out there and be useful today. Don't be afraid, be, um, stand like in your conviction that we're
01:10:01.560 going to, we're going to get this done. We've got to do it together. I won't either crank one. Um,
01:10:06.740 we've got to do this together and we'll have a couple of tough conversations before the midterms
01:10:11.840 just to, um, steal our resolve, right, Owen? Absolutely. All right. So let's have a closing
01:10:20.460 sip to Scott and, um, we'll see you guys tomorrow to Scott. All right, guys, if anyone wants an Akira
01:10:34.700 song, stick around. And if not, we'll see you tomorrow. Thank you so much for being here.
01:10:40.540 and let's see what do we have what do we have matt has declared that you're media now so i'm
01:10:46.940 hoping you'll get your white house press pass soon dude let me in let me in i would love to
01:10:51.960 see that be so good all right on media we're getting in there all right i'll see y'all later
01:10:58.080 bye bio okay you guys how about
01:11:02.140 I keep feel like only certain ones show up. Okay. The best time of my day. Did I just do that?
01:11:13.220 Let's do it. Who said the payoff? Where's the payoff here? The payoff. Ready? Here we go.
01:11:18.760 What if laziness is a habit of thinking about the cost of things or the effort
01:11:25.680 instead of thinking about the payoff.
01:11:30.600 The payoff.
01:11:34.980 I'm going to say it again.
01:11:36.760 The payoff. 0.98
01:11:40.420 Get a few more heads to explode. 0.90
01:11:42.760 What if you could reverse laziness
01:11:44.800 by simply developing a habit of thinking more about,
01:11:47.940 let's say, the delicious food that you would like to enjoy
01:11:50.520 instead of how long it would take you to get up and go get it?
01:11:53.380 Get after it.
01:11:55.680 but the real question is if you were to test this at home and try to see if you can think
01:12:00.560 more about the good outcome and less about the work would you get it done what if laziness is
01:12:08.880 a habit of thinking about the cost of things or the effort instead of thinking about the payoff
01:12:17.680 the payoff
01:12:18.160 Why is it that people have a second child? 0.91
01:12:32.400 Why does a woman who goes through this awful, awful childbirth have a second child? 0.99
01:12:39.400 Don't they always say the same thing? 0.99
01:12:40.800 If I remembered how bad this was, I wouldn't do it again.
01:12:44.440 Right.
01:12:45.000 so the not thinking about the effort is vital to actually the survival of humanity if we focused
01:12:53.460 on how hard it was to have a baby you just wouldn't do it but if you focus on how awesome
01:12:59.860 it would be to have a family well there you go you're gonna go through the pain because you've
01:13:07.060 already you've already committed you're gonna go through the pain because you've already
01:13:13.120 you've already committed what if laziness is a habit of thinking about the cost of things
01:13:21.860 or the effort instead of thinking about the payoff
01:13:25.640 the payoff
01:13:28.500 i'm going to say it again
01:13:33.280 am i ambitious
01:13:40.120 or do I simply have a thinking habit which produces dopamine
01:13:44.820 because I'm thinking about the positive outcome?
01:13:46.760 And is the dopamine the thing that gets me up and moving?
01:13:49.260 And when you're observing me, you say,
01:13:50.900 how the hell do you get so much done?
01:13:53.780 And how do I do it?
01:13:55.720 I think it's just this.
01:13:57.220 I think it's just this.
01:13:58.540 When I think of all the things I do,
01:14:00.280 I think about them in terms of their benefits.
01:14:03.280 What if laziness is a habit of thinking about the cost of things
01:14:08.680 for the effort instead of thinking about the pail
01:14:12.360 the pail
01:14:15.340 just say the gap
01:14:20.100 the pail
01:14:21.200 get a few more hands to explode
01:14:26.040 the pail 0.68
01:14:27.040 the pail
01:14:32.900 so here's your tip it's going to change some of your lives
01:14:40.820 think about the positive not about the work and see what that does to you
01:14:48.260 amen think about the positive and not the work and see what that does to you i love it it's
01:14:58.900 just so simple. You ask Grocky. Let's see. Let's see. All right. So Kitty Bits, sorry. I kept
01:15:07.760 seeing your post today and I wanted to like address it and like kind of calm you in a way
01:15:14.640 to understand like, I hear you and this is what we have to do. Sometimes I just like someone's
01:15:20.800 comments just get like stuck into my eyeballs. And then I'm like, I can't help it. I'm focusing
01:15:25.720 on you now. Love you, Crusher. Oh my gosh. Oh, you have a huge... Yes. Yes, Goldie. Focus on that.
01:15:34.140 I love that. Yes. Okay. So locals, all of you were having problems. You couldn't post
01:15:38.780 memes and pictures today. It was terrible. Thanks, Nefarious Johnson. Thanks, Deb.
01:15:45.280 oh you know i just uh i'm just like wait i just want to talk to you um let's see yay okay oh
01:15:57.780 beverly i already forgot what song you want you said it and i forgot if you're not here i'll go
01:16:03.020 back and look um i'm looking forward to tomorrow too like let's make good use of mark i mean he's
01:16:08.660 got his finger on things and let's like find out how we can be useful with that
01:16:13.180 Love you, Goldie. You're welcome, Bea. Thanks, Doug. That's really sweet. Very sweet.
01:16:22.660 Marcella gets it. She has been there, done that, right? Thanks, Crank.
01:16:29.580 I'm trying to look at all the comments. Let me see.
01:16:36.580 So, oh, thanks, Beth. Let me write that down, what you think about.
01:16:41.040 It's so true.
01:16:42.420 I just had this conversation with a friend yesterday.
01:16:44.780 I said, stop thinking about the negative things in your head.
01:16:47.480 You're just like reinforcing it.
01:16:50.220 It's easy to do, but it's also easy once you practice not to.
01:16:56.700 Thanks, Goldie.
01:16:58.060 Thanks, Mrs. Scoop.
01:17:00.540 Bye, Bart.
01:17:01.700 Thanks.
01:17:02.740 All right, guys.
01:17:03.640 Say goodbyes.
01:17:04.820 We'll be back tomorrow with Mark Mitchell.
01:17:06.660 and, um, I will post on X somewhere. Um, I'll say, drop your, your questions for Mark.
01:17:15.160 And if you'd prefer Marianne, um, and if you prefer to DM them to me, I mean, I'd rather you
01:17:22.400 just put them in the thing, but I understand Jim Courtney. Okay, guys, I'll see you tomorrow.
01:17:28.620 Thanks, Kitty. I love you too. All right. Bye you guys.
01:17:36.660 In Kentucky?
01:17:40.040 Yay!
