00:00:06.620 It's a network of over 1,300 employees and over 1,000 local suppliers, from small family businesses to major tech firms.
00:00:14.480 Together, we've delivered a $3.6 billion boost to the Canadian economy over the past five years.
00:00:20.260 That's money that goes to securing our skies, our oceans, and the place we call home.

00:00:30.000 The Winter Tire and Rim Event is on now at Performance Auto Group.
00:00:33.880 Get seasonal savings on tires and rims, complimentary tire storage, and manufacturer rebates up to $110.
00:00:42.300 Ooh, are we in trouble? We're late. We're late.
00:00:45.120 That's Owen's new profile picture. Do you guys like it?
00:00:48.720 He looks so human.
00:00:50.680 We solved all the problems by just having that.
00:00:55.440 There we go. Owen, there's your thing. Go ahead, you're a little pulse.
00:01:00.000 there we go can you see it now yeah oh i can definitely see it all right
00:01:06.080 you've got the heartbeat line you requested thank you we'll keep working on it but i like it
00:01:14.320 good morning everybody it's friday again can you stand it like that it's friday um i'm wearing my
00:01:24.080 metallica shirt today for the people that request metallica at the end of the show this is the best
00:01:29.680 I can give you. So here we go. Scott in calendar. What does that mean? But I'm so glad you brought
00:01:38.000 that up while you guys are filing in. So you guys, the link for the calendar is in the show
00:01:46.340 notes on each platform. Okay. So it is the official commemorative 2027 calendar, and there's a first
00:01:54.420 time wall calendar also. And so please pick those up, you guys. Okay. They're on Amazon. The link
00:02:01.020 is in the show notes, grab those up and, um, make sure you're, you're going from our link. Cause
00:02:07.160 that's the official one. Cause people, you know, they really try to just scam everything they can.
00:02:11.840 They didn't, they didn't Scott prepare the calendar before. Yes. Yep. He wanted us to
00:02:19.820 have this calendar and we have it. So, you know, don't forget that when you're doing your Christmas
00:02:24.780 shopping either, because everybody loves it. Oh, you can see mine. Wait, there's mine. And
00:02:30.780 there's my wall calendar. See how cute. You see mine? Yep. I see it. Oh, yeah. I feel seen. I
00:02:41.820 feel seen. Excellent, Marcella. Excellent. All right. You guys are all filing in. Good morning,
00:02:48.040 YouTube and Rumble, Locals, Spotify, and X. Thank you for being here on Friday and every day. And
00:02:57.560 please do read our show notes. I mean, every day they change, but we did put a new policy in there
00:03:04.240 about sharing shows. So when I tell Marcella and Owen things that are coming from like Scott's
00:03:11.180 higher powers over there, I just say, this comes from California, which they know is like the home
00:03:17.740 office. So we have a new policy. We're kindly asking everybody on all platforms, please don't
00:03:25.760 share your shows during our shows. Okay. I know that might sound strange, but there are many,
00:03:32.820 many channels and many, many podcasts that require the same. Marcel and I were also talking about
00:03:38.760 that. Who are you saying has that? Agenda Free TV has that. And Emily D. Baker, which is big
00:03:47.520 podcasters, which we are. We are. Yes. So we want to keep the focus on the Scott Adams School as
00:03:54.380 Scott wanted. He wouldn't want that during the show if he was on. And we're all asking the same.
00:04:00.660 So it's just for everybody. No shade. We will always promote the after party, though. Owen's
00:04:05.920 after party on the weekends. Of course. Okay. So you guys ready for this sippity doo dah day?
00:04:13.000 I do not have a top third hot and frothy. I have moved on today to my water because I already
00:04:19.800 drank my hot and frothy. Owen, are you ready? I'm ready. Marcella? Let me get ready. Okay. Okay.
00:04:27.800 We're all ready. All right. Here we go, y'all. And if you want to enjoy this pre-Thanksgiving
00:04:34.520 show. More than usual, all
00:04:36.580 you need is a copper mug or a glass of tanker
00:04:38.580 chelsea, a stein, a canteen jug or a flask
00:04:40.420 a vessel of any kind. Fill it
00:04:42.540 with your favorite liquid I like.
00:04:44.400 Coffee. And join me now
00:04:46.660 for the unparalleled pleasure.
00:04:49.100 The dopamine hit of the day.
00:04:50.400 The thing that will make you
00:04:51.660 really love your Thanksgiving.
00:04:54.320 It's called the simultaneous sip.
00:04:56.420 And it happens now.
00:05:01.520 Yeah.
00:05:02.380 That's good.
00:05:02.900 it's just as good as i'd hoped
00:05:05.960 oh my gosh how did his hair get long all the time so fast it's so funny
00:05:13.800 have you uh started your thanksgiving plans no i have i couldn't even tell you i'm going with
00:05:22.520 family i can't wait for them to talk about the elections oh my god oh and have you started yours
00:05:29.100 um we've just started talking about it but i don't know exactly what we're doing yet
00:05:34.020 i haven't thought about it talked about it considered it or cared about it is that bad
00:05:40.260 i like i forget it's even coming until scott said it i was like oh yeah but it is a few weeks away
00:05:46.160 so you know that's true i guess i'm not hosting it because i haven't thought about it so that's
00:05:50.580 good. I know. You know what, you guys? There was two different choices of a Scott clip I've been
00:06:00.800 wanting to play. But I think because of what Scott just said and then Owen asked, we're going to do
00:06:07.300 the clip today. It's only like seven or eight minutes, but it's how to survive relationships
00:06:13.340 like if somebody has TDS. So I think this is like the perfect time to get ready for the holidays and
00:06:19.580 work on dealing with the relationships with tds which is trump derangement syndrome so we'll do
00:06:25.500 that one in a little bit um i think it's time for that okay so first uh just for a little uh
00:06:33.880 starting off clip that you know i like oh you know which one i'm gonna skip all the ones i was
00:06:39.620 gonna do this one is a shout is andy wang here i have to know that first because this is special
00:06:45.260 but i did want to mention annette yes we do see you on rumble
00:06:49.580 Hi, Annette. Um, can, can I get confirmation about Andy Wang? Because this clip is called
00:06:57.280 for Andy and, oh, I don't see him yet. Okay. So it was, it was going to be special for him.
00:07:08.600 Where's Wang? Nobody knows. All right. So I'll have to wait because it's for him. Okay guys.
00:07:13.020 so look at this guy. Talk about a hobby. I, like, if you told me I had to do this,
00:07:19.620 like, or die, I would die. Okay. How he figured this out. God help us. Look at this. 0.94
00:07:43.020 Notice the jacket.
00:08:06.200 Okay, so I don't want to spoil it, but there's a little more.
00:08:09.020 And at the end, he just, whoosh, all the glasses right off the table.
00:08:13.020 no he doesn't no he doesn't but did you notice his jacket here i was like i will leave it
00:08:18.680 i love it all right if andy comes in you guys let me know okay um all right so so much to get
00:08:26.840 through and we're just gonna go fast okay first did you guys see marcel and owen that thune is
00:08:34.300 gonna run again is that true did anyone see that i didn't see it missed i didn't see it but it
00:08:41.680 doesn't surprise me. He seems like the arrogant kind of guy that would do that.
00:08:46.080 I know. Can anyone confirm or deny? I saw that somewhere and I'm like, is that for real?
00:08:51.820 So that would suck. So we have that to look for. Oh, it's true. He wants to be re-selected.
00:09:00.260 You know, just amazing that he would do that. Okay. I know I'm looking at your comments,
00:09:06.360 you guys i feel like we have all the clips okay so let's get to alissa slotkin because i wanted to
00:09:13.080 do this last week and um you know the foreshadowing so marcella i'm going to come to you first after
00:09:20.360 this clip but just here we go i'm worried that we're going to be too nice uh what what are we
00:09:28.280 What are we going to do to hold the Trump regime and its collaborators responsible?
00:09:32.880 I'm talking prosecutions, Nuremberg level.
00:09:35.560 What are we going to do?
00:09:36.560 So basically, assuming we win both houses, even if we just win one, we'll come up, we
00:09:42.840 have a list of like the signature cases.
00:09:45.180 So the things where it's like so egregious, such a violation of law, such a corruption
00:09:49.740 case, like, and we will have in every committee, there will be the signature cases that we,
00:09:55.140 where we hold people accountable.
00:09:56.720 It's literally, I just went to Hungary.
00:09:58.460 I went over to Budapest in Hungary because they just got rid of their authoritarian leader after 16 years.
00:10:03.740 And I'm like, how did you handle 16 years of corruption?
00:10:07.520 We don't have that much, but we have so much.
00:10:09.940 And they did these signature cases.
00:10:11.660 And they're ones that people identify with, like the east wing of the White House, the ballroom, or the reflecting pool, or $200 million from the Defense Department.
00:10:25.320 And so that's what you'll see, basically, in January.
00:10:31.880 Happy New Year.
00:10:33.860 So, I mean, not the ballroom, not the reflecting pool. 0.95
00:10:38.500 All right, Marcella, give us a little background on her so we can catch up and let us have it.
00:10:46.040 I mean, you know, in a way, I look forward to them doing this.
00:10:52.560 She is, you know, you know what?
00:10:55.320 The interesting part is that Slotkin is actually the more moderate of the U.S. senators in
00:11:03.500 Michigan after Abdul Syed won.
00:11:07.160 So that tells you what his politics are like, but I think we just let them do what they're 0.96
00:11:15.520 going to do because the American voter did not elect them.
00:11:20.900 There were some Democrats that did elect them for the revenge, the this and the that, but the majority of the people want a better life. And none of that was talked about. It's all, what are we going to do for ourselves? Which is like, then again, it's a different thing.
00:11:44.060 like we said yesterday, winning an election and then actually governing. It doesn't sound like
00:11:51.680 they're actually planning on governing. They're just planning on investigating. And
00:11:55.880 the good thing about it, as I see it, is that it will give them a defeat in 2028.
00:12:02.980 Yeah. That's what I think too, Owen. It's just, they're going to show us what this is all going
00:12:07.540 to be about again. And so maybe we could flip the Congress back in 2028 also. And most importantly,
00:12:14.780 not most importantly, but most importantly, when the presidency, what's your take? 0.94
00:12:20.720 Well, this is a clown person that's basically a CIA plant in Congress. She was a CIA analyst 0.97
00:12:27.860 before, and she is probably going to be one of the leaders of this ridiculous revenge campaign
00:12:35.040 they're going to have to try and get back at trump and so you know nothing she's saying that
00:12:39.860 they're going to do here is a surprise i think we all knew this was coming and so that's not
00:12:44.900 surprising to me and i agree that it's going to probably backfire on them and it's going to be
00:12:49.120 ridiculous for the next two years they're going to have hearing after hearing after hearing and
00:12:52.780 all these impeachments and all these things and that's going to be the theme for the next year 0.64
00:12:57.260 probably at least and they probably will not accomplish anything at all except you know they'll
00:13:04.180 have to at some point pass a budget and we may have shutdowns in the meantime and so it's going
00:13:09.540 to be a crap show for the next year or two in congress and you know again this is probably one
00:13:15.700 of the more extreme people i think in terms of that message at least she's the same person that 0.96
00:13:20.860 was saying she wanted to go after anybody who even wanted to work with trump yeah like as this
00:13:26.220 deterrence message so she's like that's like her whole platform i think and it's not about
00:13:31.940 governing. It's not about improving lives for Americans. It's not about affordability. Any of
00:13:36.220 the things they ran on, that's all out the window now. And now they're going to show who they really
00:13:40.940 are. And what they really are are a bunch of TDS people that just want to go after Trump and
00:13:46.000 Hegseth and everyone else in the Trump administration. I saw Jamie Raskin, another
00:13:51.380 designated liar, talk. He ran the Trump impeachment trial and I think the J6 trial too. He was 0.98
00:14:00.040 talking to who's the chick on, um, MSNBC that doesn't have lips. Um, Nicole Wallace, he was
00:14:07.360 talking to Nicole Wallace and he was just like, oh yeah. And we're going to go after any company
00:14:13.360 that was, you know, working with Trump that, you know, any company that, you know, helped him make
00:14:19.720 money, any law firm, you know, and then expose those people. And I'm like, yeah, you're doing
00:14:25.080 And the same thing Slocken said is, you know, we're going to lawfare anybody who tries to do
00:14:30.900 any kind of business with the Republicans or with Trump. So listen, you guys, we already have been
00:14:35.960 through this. Like we went through Nancy's impeachments, you know, for him, we've been
00:14:41.360 through this. So we know how noisy it is, but we don't have to pay attention to it. Really? We
00:14:46.800 really don't. Okay. So our lives don't need to be affected by what they're doing. So it's going to
00:14:53.840 be a lot of theater. It's going to waste a lot of time. But don't forget that all of these things,
00:14:59.420 all of this lawfare is just a dress rehearsal for the country to see of what they can expect if they
00:15:06.880 then put a Democrat in the White House in 2028. And they're not going to make our wallets any
00:15:13.700 better. They're just going to create more chaos and nobody's going to want that in 2028. So let
00:15:19.000 them do their thing. And remember, it doesn't have to affect your personal life. And we'll keep you
00:15:24.400 up to date here, but don't get bogged down in it. Don't feel sick over it. Just try to ignore it if
00:15:29.960 you can, actually. All right. So I wanted to move along because a lot of people are actually talking
00:15:37.500 about this kind of lawfare. And someone else who we know is a target is Elon, Kara Swisher, and
00:15:46.380 Scott Galloway are like orgasming over like pretty much killing him. I mean, like they
00:15:55.040 are so disgusted by him. So many people, so many wild, wacky people are. And so he's, you know,
00:16:02.520 he's a target. And I always worry about him and his safety as most of us do. And here's
00:16:09.240 Jay Cal from the All In podcast, maybe the second time I've agreed with him on something.
00:16:16.380 talking about it. Let's take a listen.
00:16:21.260 I don't know if you heard the earlier segment. They're talking about executing Elon Musk.
00:16:27.820 Does that have an impact on the market, on Elon?
00:16:34.160 Well, Elon and I are very close friends. And so I can tell you the amount of security this poor
00:16:39.120 man and his family have to do. And the amount of danger he's in consistently is unimaginable.
00:16:47.660 It's unimaginable. It's unimaginable. And this guy, Scott Galloway, is complete disgraziad,
00:16:53.280 as we would say in Brooklyn. Not only is he calling for the execution of Elon Musk,
00:16:59.240 he joked about President Trump's assassination attempt in the days after it. These are evil 0.70
00:17:06.040 people. These are disgraceful people. And the crazy hypocrisy of it is that Karen Swisher and 1.00
00:17:12.780 Scott Galloway are always bragging about how they make $10 million each from their goddamn podcast. 0.97
00:17:18.800 And this kind of rhetoric, that's paid for by technology companies that are advertising on 0.98
00:17:22.820 that podcast. If you're a technology company advertising on that podcast, you are endorsing
00:17:27.780 the assassination, the assassination of the president of the United States, the joking of
00:17:32.800 But that rhetoric, and also my friend, Elon Musk, and that is completely unacceptable. 1.00
00:17:38.340 These people are deranged, sociopathic lunatics, Jesse. 0.99
00:17:42.720 I don't know how it could be any more clear. 0.99
00:17:46.400 So, Owen, I couldn't agree more with J. Cal.
00:17:49.360 I mean, they're like fully saying this stuff. 0.97
00:17:53.120 It would be like being on this show and any one of us is like saying that we want someone to be, you know, kaput. 0.92
00:18:00.660 How disgusting do you have to be? 0.99
00:18:02.800 Well, I think it is ridiculous. I think it's, again, it's the Elon version of TDS, I think, where they just think, oh, because he came out so in favor of Trump, he suddenly got painted with the TDS thing. 0.98
00:18:17.160 And also just because he's the richest man in the world, it makes them an easy target for them because they think, oh, this is that rich elite, millionaire, billionaire, people we don't like sort of thing.
00:18:30.420 So for socialists, they think of that as like the ultimate example of, you know, this is our enemy sort of thing. And yeah, it's disgusting. It's reprehensible. I think, you know, it should be illegal, at least when it does cross the line. I know there's free speech and it's okay to say you don't like Elon, but if you're threatening to kill someone, I'm pretty sure that's not legal.
00:18:50.020 So, you know, I think it is something that is reprehensible and we should be trying to, you know, shut that down wherever we can within the bounds of the law, of course.
00:19:00.560 But I just think, you know, they're always looking for an enemy.
00:19:05.060 They're always looking for a target.
00:19:06.300 So I think he's just a single person that can focus all their hatred up into the little ball in their gut and say, oh, I hate that guy. 0.99
00:19:14.700 And it's ridiculous. 0.95
00:19:16.840 I mean, if anything, Elon is not even really that conservative, in my opinion. 0.91
00:19:23.060 Yeah, I mean, I mean, this is all overdoge, right?
00:19:27.320 This is like how it all started.
00:19:28.760 They're like, oh, he you know, he's exposing.
00:19:31.360 Well, he was exposing fraud and waste is what he was doing.
00:19:34.420 And then they're like, he's killing people for ending these programs.
00:19:37.900 And it's like, no one's dying from these programs being ended, first of all.
00:19:42.140 Um, but it's really bizarre how people are so outwardly speaking this way. And I mean, so
00:19:49.820 Marcella, I know like Elon was working, I guess, as like a private contractor for the government
00:19:58.920 at that point, but will he have like, well, these people have a visit from the FBI or is this like,
00:20:05.560 no, he's not like presidential material. Like, I don't know how that works.
00:20:09.140 no no he he they would not I mean it's free speech for them to say what they said
00:20:16.320 unfortunately um and it's not the president so and it's not anybody in in the government but
00:20:22.940 you know they're it's reprehensible and they're not the only ones it's not just Scott Galloway
00:20:30.020 it's it's many in the Democratic Party I mean um Tallarico in his speech was like we
00:20:38.380 we defeated uh goliath and we defeated the trillionaire and um afterwards though james
00:20:48.720 tallarico came out the the he won the u.s senate for texas and he came out trying to give like
00:20:56.320 a hand to elon and say hey you know um i forget what exact words he used but we wouldn't be
00:21:04.660 friends. But going back to this whole thing, Scott predicted this, they're going to hunt
00:21:10.520 any Republican, anybody that is out there moving the policies that are going to help America.
00:21:21.060 They see that Elon is very efficient. He's probably the most efficient CEO, the most efficient
00:21:29.820 person that we've ever had where he's creating star link he's creating neural link line site
00:21:38.000 yeah we're gonna be able to see we're gonna be able to hear this do that um flying cars i mean
00:21:44.760 he's just doing it all and on top of that doge and all sorts of things they don't like that
00:21:50.720 and and and one of the people i'm sorry like i forgot but it's not just scott adams r scott
00:22:00.040 said that they would be hunted but one of the main people that has always said this for the
00:22:05.740 years that she's been around is ann ran the book that is behind me then the huge wall
00:22:12.360 called Atlas Shrug. That is what it was about. And I do compare John Galt in Atlas Shrug to
00:22:21.120 Elon Musk, just like I compare him to the Fountain and Howard Rourke. They went after them
00:22:28.700 and they're going after him. The reason is envy. The reason is this desire to bring him down
00:22:38.400 because he's been able to accomplish things.
00:22:41.320 Instead, if you look at it, technically, they should be cheering him on 0.77
00:22:48.720 because he is an immigrant story with hardly any money he came. 0.86
00:22:54.580 He came with hardly any money to America.
00:22:57.760 He began basically from nothing, and then he became this thrillionaire, 0.98
00:23:04.100 and he's African-American.
00:23:06.120 Like, in reality, like, he should be praised by them because in their DEI world, in their diverse world, this is what he should be.
00:23:16.440 But anyways, I go on a tangent. Going back to your question, I don't think nothing can be done against them except repudiate anybody that says that and, you know, have lots and lots of security.
00:23:30.660 because we know what happened to Charlie can happen to anybody that's out there that's efficient.
00:23:37.700 And it's sad that we've gone to this level of, you know, politics.
00:23:44.280 Yeah.
00:23:44.800 But I do think this isn't organic either.
00:23:47.260 This is a psyop.
00:23:48.180 This is a coordinated op against Elon Musk.
00:23:50.840 And the fact that it really erupted when he was doing Doge is a telltale sign of that.
00:23:57.880 Like, you know, why would that be something that leftists would object to? Because he's basically saying we want to take out some government spending. We want to, you know, get rid of waste, corruption, fraud, abuse. Unless they're defending those things and saying we want fraud, corruption, waste and abuse, then nothing he did should have been objectionable at all.
00:24:19.180 And the fact that there was such a panic to it means they were worried about whatever funding they were getting out of that fraud, corruption, waste, and abuse.
00:24:26.600 And that, to me, indicates this is an organized op.
00:24:29.540 This is not just people decided they didn't like Elon Musk.
00:24:33.600 They're getting together to say we need to stop this guy because he's defunding us or he's uncovering stuff that we want to stay secret, and we need to put a stop to this guy.
00:24:44.340 And it doesn't make any sense.
00:24:46.640 I'm sure it didn't help from his perspective to, you know, be basically contributing to Republican campaigns and being very public about that.
00:24:54.260 But it seemed like the doge was really the bigger factor in when that came up.
00:24:58.900 So it wasn't even just about the fact that he was siding with Republicans.
00:25:02.420 It was more just, you know, cleaning up the government was the problem, which tells me that there probably is a coordinated psyop, almost certainly, to say we need to take Musk down.
00:25:12.800 And, you know, they had all the things where they're saying we want to take away his contracts.
00:25:15.980 We want to nationalize SpaceX. They just want to defund and take away the people that they don't
00:25:21.220 like. And it's because they didn't like the fact that they were getting all their fraud exposed.
00:25:27.720 I know when you think about, oh my God, it was so stupid. He's working on fraud on behalf of 1.00
00:25:34.480 America, like the precious time he hardly has. And he puts that energy in. And then what do
00:25:41.260 the Democrats start doing? Keying Teslas. And I'm like, you realize probably most people that
00:25:47.080 own a Tesla are Democrats, right? Uh, just keying them like, Oh, we'll just destroy other people's
00:25:53.320 property. It's like, these people are so deranged. I honestly, I, I don't know what's 0.98
00:25:57.840 going to cure these people, but, um, I want to, I want to pivot, pivot. Uh, I need, I need a clip.
00:26:04.540 Can someone make a clip for me? Just very short of Ross Geller screaming, pivot, pivot, because I
00:26:10.400 need that soundbite. Thank you so much. If you know how, um, pivoting, I did want to get to, um,
00:26:21.200 Israel slash Iran. Um, I just feel like there's some more cleanup that needs to happen here. 0.98
00:26:28.360 Um, apparently everyone's still not, no, no, no, no, not everyone. Okay. So let listen,
00:26:33.720 Marcella and Owen, I feel like we have failed the sippers because we have not tested their 1.00
00:26:41.640 IQ in a while. So there was a poll that came out after the election and it was what percentage 0.98
00:26:52.900 of people did not think that the Iran war had anything to do with the Republicans losing the
00:27:01.600 election. What percentage of people said, no, no, no, that had nothing to do with it. Let's just,
00:27:06.620 let's just see. We have to see. We had this audience, I believe.
00:27:14.120 That's so wacky. How'd you guys know? You're right. 25% of the people felt like the Iran war
00:27:21.600 had nothing to do with it. And actually it was 74% of people felt that the Iran war had
00:27:29.720 a lot to do with it, or it was really important to them. So you guys are so smart. I'm so sorry
00:27:36.980 we haven't helped sharpen your skills, but thank God you remembered how to think clearly. Amazing.
00:27:43.260 You guys are amazing. So speaking of that, I did want to get to, this was a clip. So Piers Morgan's
00:27:50.460 been doing lots of these interviews. And in this clip, I just found it interesting. It's Piers
00:27:57.180 Morgan. And who does he have with him? He is, okay, this is the vice president of the Jewish
00:28:10.040 Institute for National Security. His name is Blaise Miztel. So again, vice president of the
00:28:19.340 Jewish Institute for National Security. And Piers is just simply asking him a question about
00:28:26.480 nukes and he's sitting there with uh the other person is tim pool from the tim cast podcast
00:28:32.660 and joe kent okay joe kent knows something so i find it interesting let's take a look
00:28:38.400 i don't think there are any declared nuclear powers fantastic i love i actually love this
00:28:43.160 when we have this conversation where it's like what do you mean you of course you know that
00:28:47.840 israel has a lot of nuclear weapons why did none of you admit it i don't know why don't you admit
00:28:53.680 it? Because I don't know. You do know. But you know Iran has them? You do know. But you know Iran has them? I never said them. Iran I don't think does have one. But Israel has dozens of them. Don't they? Look, the only nuclear weapons I know in the Middle East are the ones that America keeps in Turkey.
00:29:09.980 Please, you are the policy VP of the Jewish Institute for National Security of America. Are you looking at me with a straight face and saying you don't know if Israel has nuclear weapons?
00:29:18.820 I certainly know it's reported. I know it's claimed.
00:29:21.080 What do you think, Claude, from your knowledge as the policy VP of the Jewish Institute for National Security of America,
00:29:27.600 either you are totally ill-suited to that position or you know for a fact that Israel has dozens of nuclear weapons.
00:29:35.440 We all know that. Why don't you just admit it? Why did none of you admit it?
00:29:39.540 I don't know who you are in this case.
00:29:41.940 People supporting the Israeli government. 0.69
00:29:43.780 I do know that if I was a country that was surrounded by other states that were hell-bent on my annihilation...
00:29:49.260 You're a supporter of the Israeli government?
00:29:51.200 No, I'm a supporter of American interests, which I believe are served by a close relationship with Israel.
00:29:55.880 But you don't know if Israel has nuclear weapons?
00:29:58.800 No, I don't know for a fact whether it does or not.
00:30:00.800 Please, why? You're lying to me, aren't you?
00:30:03.440 You're just lying, looking me straight in the eye, and you're lying.
00:30:06.000 I have been, yeah. I have been looking you straight in the eye.
00:30:08.560 And you're lying?
00:30:09.400 I'm telling you that I don't know.
00:30:10.820 Yes, you do, Blaise. Don't you?
00:30:13.520 Just like you know what's happening in the straight-up form movies
00:30:16.000 and who controls it.
00:30:16.700 I do, yeah.
00:30:17.320 Well, better than you by the sound of it.
00:30:18.880 Apparently.
00:30:19.380 I'm just curious how you can have this position,
00:30:21.820 but genuinely, either you don't know or you're lying.
00:30:25.060 It's one of the two.
00:30:27.900 It kind of wraps up there, but Owen, I like this exchange
00:30:32.020 because he gave him time.
00:30:34.580 Like, they just stayed quiet and just gave him time
00:30:37.100 to just banter back and forth.
00:30:39.400 And I love Joe Kent just has, like, this little, like,
00:30:42.600 growing on his face and you know why why why is it always so secretive like why does
00:30:49.960 why can't he just admit it i don't understand well i think there's a good reason to be secret
00:30:59.600 about where we have nuclear weapons i mean well he's saying does israel have them yeah but i think
00:31:04.820 that might be you know either ones we help them create or ones we you know like even place there
00:31:11.600 that might be our nuclear weapons, I don't know.
00:31:14.060 I have no idea what's in Israel.
00:31:16.340 But I think there's probably a lot of political ramifications
00:31:22.960 and just national security ramifications 0.66
00:31:25.460 because if you confirm, hey, Israel has nuclear weapons,
00:31:29.400 then other neighbors might argue, well, why can they have them?
00:31:32.260 We can't. 1.00
00:31:32.900 Or it might piss off all the Arabian neighbors 1.00
00:31:35.920 and they'd object to it and say, we need to get rid of these things. 1.00
00:31:38.440 And I think, you know, even just saying where are the nuclear weapons would would be a national security problem.
00:31:47.100 So I can understand why they don't want to talk about it.
00:31:49.900 OK, I mean, that that is making sense.
00:31:52.840 Marcella, your thoughts?
00:31:56.240 The official position, you know, my thoughts is that they I don't know who this guy, what his name is, but whatever who he is,
00:32:06.440 he's not good at being able to push back when somebody like Pierce is asking him this type of
00:32:13.600 questions you think that they would have better answers yeah Israel hasn't confirmed or denied
00:32:18.980 that they have a nuclear weapon he could have just said that the the stand of Israel is to
00:32:26.220 not confirm or deny it and it's because of what Owen said because of you know from their own
00:32:34.120 security perspective they don't want to confirm or deny so that's all that he could have said i mean
00:32:40.600 really but um he didn't have to go oh i don't know instead of saying the official position of israel
00:32:49.400 is this however beyond the official position of israel is that they do have nuclear weapons
00:32:57.000 the idea is that the rest of the world is pretty much sure that they have nuclear weapons
00:33:03.000 um the reason they don't want to let that cat out of the bag as we could say is because
00:33:11.660 the rest of the middle east would be like well then i need my nuclear weapon you know so perhaps 0.99
00:33:20.120 yeah um i i know peers like i am looking at your comments peers can be like a pain in the ass 0.99
00:33:26.680 sometimes but sometimes i like him i have like a love hate with him sometimes he makes me nuts 0.97
00:33:32.160 And sometimes I'm like, all right, Pierce, let's go.
00:33:34.160 So I don't, you know, I'll always watch him.
00:33:36.200 I think he did the right thing.
00:33:37.620 I think Pierce is right on.
00:33:39.560 Like, this is what attorneys do whenever you get the pose.
00:33:42.700 You're like questioning someone.
00:33:44.380 And you have to, but when you are on a show to that level next to Joe Kent and all that,
00:33:49.580 you're going to be asking questions that are going to be a little hardcore questions, right?
00:33:56.400 Because you have Joe Kent right next to you.
00:33:58.720 And you know all, you know, you know Pierce, you know all that.
00:34:01.480 So you just say, Hey, the official stance of Israel is this, but the rest of the world knows
00:34:08.360 we have nuclear weapons. Right. I just find it interesting. You know, it's just like a pattern
00:34:14.040 maybe. Um, and then again, just to top off the polling, we were talking about, about, uh, the
00:34:22.580 Iran war, um, and the 25% who just aren't able to understand that. Yes, this was the issue because
00:34:30.760 it, the butterfly effect of the Iran war has been brutal for everybody. Here's the president's son,
00:34:39.880 okay? Here's Don Jr. This should clear it up. Why did so many independents and even previous
00:34:47.560 Trump voters decide to vote for them anyway? Well, for one, remember, the Trump coalition
00:34:53.840 is made up of millions of disaffected Democrats, right? They're former Democrats, people who never
00:35:00.240 voted before or voted pretty reliably Democrat that felt left behind. Those aren't voters that
00:35:07.880 are just loyal to an R or a D that's beside someone's name. These are people that think
00:35:13.880 for themselves. The wins of this administration have been substantial with record low poverty
00:35:19.820 rate, record low violent crime, a secure border. Those are all big deals. But there are ultimately
00:35:27.560 the downstream effects of things like the Iran war that pushed voters in a different direction.
00:35:33.120 Perhaps they felt them a little bit more than they did safety. Totally understandable. And
00:35:39.120 according to a chart going around on X, the approval number graph was basically identical
00:35:44.540 to the price of gas, okay? I've seen a few talking heads, guys like, you know, Mark Thiessen out there
00:35:51.240 trying to claim that the Iran war had nothing to do with Republicans losing, right? There's no
00:35:55.780 downside to the iran war disgusting actually and you know whether you think it was the right
00:36:03.140 decision or not the iran war is largely what sifted voter sentiment and caused this wave
00:36:09.020 right it jacked up the price of gas that's the thing that people feel most immediately in their
00:36:13.760 pockets and it it changed their mind we also campaigned on not getting into these things and
00:36:18.600 we don't have to debate whether it was the right thing or the wrong thing i don't have any of the
00:36:22.920 details. I'm not privy to any of that in terms of the intelligence, but it was definitely something
00:36:28.560 after Afghanistan and Iraq that we probably didn't want to be into, even though I don't believe this
00:36:33.780 is going to be one of those forever wars. Behind our nation's defense is a powerful network of

00:37:20.620 Okay. And hopefully it will wrap up soon. Like that's all, that's all we've ever wanted. I mean,
00:37:26.540 we've said that consistently here at the Scott Adams school, like, listen, like do what you
00:37:31.580 got to do, but get in and get out. Like the longer it goes on, the more it's hurting the American
00:37:35.920 people. I care about my country, um, and our problems here more than anywhere else. It's not
00:37:45.020 good for anyone to have a nuke. People have nukes everywhere. And I'm sure like, this is just me
00:37:49.880 talking, but I'm sure that if Iran does or doesn't have a nuke, let's say they don't have one,
00:37:57.880 I'm sure they have some kind of a deal with a neighboring country somewhere that would help
00:38:03.240 them out if they needed to in exchange for things. There's so many backroom deals all over this world
00:38:10.340 that you just can't trust anybody. But Owen, I'll come to you first on what Don Jr. said.
00:38:16.220 I personally, I like that he's admitting like this is an issue.
00:38:21.380 I mean, maybe his dad can't say it as much as he wants to, our president, but J.D. has, Don Jr. has.
00:38:30.140 Well, I mean, yeah, I agree with mostly what he says.
00:38:33.140 It seems pretty obvious. 0.56
00:38:34.340 I mean, even though 25% didn't say that the Iran war had nothing to do with the, I think the poll I saw was like 88% said that was one of the big issues.
00:38:43.560 so it clearly did have a big impact and i think it was partly due to you know some people don't 0.69
00:38:49.780 like just any war at all which totally i mean i'm against the two i i wish we hadn't gone in
00:38:55.440 or didn't feel we needed to go in again i've allowed for the possibility that if they were
00:39:00.700 about to get a nuclear weapon that i can totally understand that and i might have made the same
00:39:03.940 decision um because if the alternative is to say we might have world war three it might be the end
00:39:08.920 of the world i mean that you know that's the type of decision you might be making there it's like
00:39:13.000 okay do I save midterms and possibly have the entire world end like yeah and I so I allow for
00:39:21.680 that possibility but I don't want to it doesn't mean you deny that it had an impact or that that
00:39:26.340 was a factor or even just being against staying there because I think we have already blown up a
00:39:32.680 lot of their stuff and I don't know what more we can accomplish there other than continuing to try
00:39:37.340 to get the regime to change and I don't think that's worth it so I wish we had gotten out in
00:39:42.060 march or april i wish we had gotten out in time for everything to settle between then and the
00:39:46.780 midterms but you know for whatever reason it didn't happen and and they trump thought they
00:39:53.220 had more they needed to do there and um at this point it's almost like the you know trump probably
00:39:58.780 feels like i've got nothing to lose to finish it off because i've already paid the price politically
00:40:03.320 and i may as well get the results i'm after so maybe the step up in you know in the in the attacks
00:40:10.080 and bombings and things and we'll see what happens i think at the moment the latest i've
00:40:15.440 heard is that he's still trying to negotiate a diplomatic settlement at this point and not to
00:40:19.840 resume all the the bombings and things but you know he certainly has no or less reason not to
00:40:26.040 at this point because it's not going to change anything like that and so um we'll see what
00:40:31.680 happens but i i would still say my position is i think we should get out of there as quickly as we
00:40:35.600 can well and plus marcella they know that in uh january whatever day it is he's officially a lame
00:40:43.280 duck and you know they don't really need to negotiate is what i'm imagining they're thinking
00:40:48.300 but what do you think about um you know what don said in general because i i i appreciated it
00:40:57.100 personally i appreciate what don said because it's his father you know and and yeah firstborn
00:41:04.680 and everything else like they're very very close um and for him to come out to the public and say
00:41:11.480 what he said one is very brave two it's very sincere and it felt like the right thing to do
00:41:21.160 for the voters that the the supported the trump administrations for all of three elections and
00:41:30.760 And, and, uh, you know, I'm, I'm glad he did that.
00:41:34.360 And, and that was perfect what he did, just like what JD Vance did.
00:41:39.260 Um, I, you know, wait and see what happens, you know, in regards to Iran,
00:41:45.200 but like you were saying, it's a weak, Trump has a weak hand in regards to
00:41:52.840 leverage now, because it's like, but at the same time, like Scott would remind
00:41:58.920 Because you can never, with Trump, you can never know where he's going to go and whether
00:42:05.060 he's going to, okay, I'm a lame duck, I will have a beast because look at my country or 0.91
00:42:10.320 whatever. Or he could be like, F this, I already lost, might as well just bomb them out of 0.99
00:42:17.340 existence. What new thing, I'll pardon myself and I'll pardon everybody else. So in that 0.97
00:42:24.920 particular way that's where we're going to see the persuader in chief really be who he you know
00:42:31.560 shine because any other lame duck president would not be able to challenge iran to a peace deal to
00:42:40.880 any kind of deal but because he's so uncertain in regards to what he's going to do and he's so
00:42:47.760 like you know he's a new yorker he's a new jersey and he's like i don't care might as well just
00:42:55.720 destroy every the whole world since my whole world's destroyed so that's you know so like frank
00:43:02.440 met guy said shake the box like shake it baby like a polaroid picture and and i know that that's not
00:43:09.520 kind of what we want to hear but because there's this and there's this fear of like what is he
00:43:17.280 going to do? That's why he's been very quiet. Yeah, perhaps. All right. So let me get to this
00:43:25.040 or I'm never going to get to it. And if I don't get to it, I'm going to be so upset. All right,
00:43:29.220 you guys, this is not Splashy Dog. This is Scott Adams. And listen, whatever kind of relationship
00:43:37.920 you have, it doesn't have to be husband, wife. It could be your daughter. It could be your son.
00:43:42.400 It could be a neighbor, a friend. It could be the drunk uncle you're going to see at Thanksgiving.
00:43:47.280 Um, maybe just, maybe we can practice what Scott's going to teach us before we have to
00:43:54.680 be around these people. So better now than later, let's take a, about a seven minute
00:44:00.420 moment with Scott. Here we go. Hey everybody. This is a little micro lesson on how to save
00:44:08.120 your relationship. If your partner has Trump derangement syndrome, I'm doing this in my
00:44:13.960 closet because there's a leaf blower outside. So just bear with me. Now, if your partner has
00:44:19.760 Trump derangement syndrome, they probably can't be saved in the sense that you're going to have
00:44:25.600 to just wait this out and maybe get to the next administration. But you might be able to nudge
00:44:31.580 some people, not everybody, in the right direction. Here's the technique I would use.
00:44:37.740 First, become Biden-curious.
00:44:41.520 Rather than saying, no, no, no, I'm not a Trump supporter and I'm not going to change.
00:44:47.040 Your status will hate you forever.
00:44:49.260 Don't do that.
00:44:50.580 Instead, say, you know, I'm becoming a little Biden-curious.
00:44:54.160 I wouldn't use those words.
00:44:55.780 But just act like you're starting to feel a little more open-minded about the Democrat option.
00:45:01.880 this is called pacing where you're agreeing with your subject before persuading them you want to
00:45:09.240 pick something that trump does you won't have to wait long could be a tweet something he said at a
00:45:14.340 press conference and you want to act disgusted exactly the way your spouse is acting so if your
00:45:21.000 spouse says can you believe he tweeted whatever you say you know i gotta admit that does bother
00:45:27.920 me a little bit. So you're a little Biden curious, you start to act disgusted as something Trump did,
00:45:33.800 doesn't matter what, and it doesn't matter if you believe it. Then you want to offer directly,
00:45:39.820 say, you know, I think I could be persuaded. So, you know, I'm a little open-minded. You want your
00:45:47.440 spouse to think there's an opening, and that rather than convincing them to come to your point
00:45:52.600 of view, you have created an opening for you to come to their point of view. And then you're going
00:46:00.540 to ask some persuasive questions, which I'll show you in a moment. And then obviously you're going
00:46:05.080 to vote the way you're going to vote anyway, because what you're trying to do is save your
00:46:08.900 relationship. You're not actually trying to change your vote. And nobody sees what you do in the
00:46:13.940 voting booth, so do what you need to do. But here are some persuasive questions, and these are just
00:46:20.040 samples to give you the idea for the approach. You can customize your own, but let me
00:46:27.640 walk you through these so you've got a sense of what the technique looks like.
00:46:33.440 I like to ask people who have Trump derangement syndrome to rank their national priorities.
00:46:39.900 What is the most important thing? A lot of people will say economics. Well, who actually polls the
00:46:46.440 best in economics, Trump. But you don't need to add that part. You can simply say, just so we're
00:46:52.760 on the same page, can you tell me your rank for what you think is most important? If they put
00:46:58.720 national security or economics at the top, you're going to have to ask yourself, who's the strongest
00:47:09.200 in national security? Who's the strongest in domestic police? Who's the strongest in economics?
00:47:16.440 So your partner may have a different rank, but if they accidentally put the things that Trump
00:47:21.500 is actually strongest at, at the top, you can just let it sit there. Don't make the mistake of saying,
00:47:28.400 well, do you know, you just ranked the very things that Trump is the best at. No. Too much, too soon.
00:47:36.000 You're letting your partner talk themselves into a softening of their position. Not a complete
00:47:42.600 change, just a softening. Here's one. The biggest complaint about Trump, and it'll probably be
00:47:51.020 listed in the rank of priorities, is international relations. Now, you'll probably have your Trump
00:47:57.940 derangement syndrome victim will probably say something like, Trump has ruined our ability to
00:48:03.820 deal with other countries. They don't take us seriously. They think he's a joke, and we can't
00:48:09.020 get anything done internationally. That's when you say, well, what does that exactly look like?
00:48:15.160 If Trump wanted to do a, let's say, a trade deal with New Zealand, would New Zealand not take our
00:48:21.140 call? Would they not negotiate with the biggest economy in the world? I think they would, but you
00:48:27.280 don't have to add the think they would. You can just say, what does that look like? Does China
00:48:31.920 not deal with us? Does Russia not take our call? Is there somebody who's not doing a deal that we'd
00:48:38.580 like to do a deal with. I can't think of an example. Can you? So again, keep your approach
00:48:45.420 in a question form and try to avoid asserting what you think is true yet. Here's a good one.
00:48:52.760 Why does Israel like Trump? After all, hasn't the news told us that Trump seemed to be supportive 0.87
00:48:59.040 of those Charlottesville protesters, what's called the racists, not protesters, who were
00:49:05.420 marching and saying anti-Semitic things. How could it be true that the entire news organizations on
00:49:12.980 the left have reported that Trump was favoring and supporting the people saying anti-Semitic
00:49:18.600 things, not just thanking them, but chanting them out loud in public? How is it that Israel 0.59
00:49:27.300 hasn't noticed? Because I think Israel's pretty good at identifying anti-Semitic people in 0.85
00:49:35.280 public. They seem to be quite aggressive about stamping that out and attacking them. But weirdly,
00:49:42.380 Trump has his picture on buildings in Israel. He's the most popular president, Israel,
00:49:48.040 at least American president, in Israel. I wonder why that is. Now again, don't assert why it is.
00:49:55.220 Simply ask the question and let it sit there. Ask if Trump was right about China. Now in this
00:50:02.600 context right, means that China is our biggest risk, our biggest challenge, and that they must 1.00
00:50:09.480 be addressed aggressively. Have we seen that that's true? Is there been any evidence lately 0.99
00:50:16.780 that that is the right approach? Again, just leave it to the person to work it out themselves.
00:50:22.760 And then at the very bottom, you can ask your partner if they are pro-nuclear energy,
00:50:27.980 because Joe Biden is, and so is Trump.
00:50:31.720 Trump doesn't say as much about it,
00:50:33.360 but his Department of Energy is working hard
00:50:35.660 on new nuclear energy stuff.
00:50:39.340 So this is an interesting one
00:50:41.120 because the entire Green New Deal
00:50:43.240 requires some kind of a carbon, non-carbon source,
00:50:48.140 and both Biden and Trump are on the same page.
00:50:51.420 So the only thing you could do about climate change
00:50:54.200 that would actually be a big enough change
00:50:55.900 to make a difference. Trump and Biden agree, nuclear power. Maybe AOC agrees too. She's
00:51:03.280 actually been open to it and she was on Biden's advisory board. We don't know exactly.
00:51:08.120 So this is the technique. Do not assert a statement of Trump's superiority because it
00:51:14.920 will just be met with more resistance. Instead, let your partner talk him or herself into a
00:51:21.520 softening of their position simply by asking questions, the answers to which should make
00:51:28.020 the person pause and wonder, huh, have I been misled by the media or do I have an accurate
00:51:35.860 opinion of what's going on? You will not get anybody to completely change their political
00:51:41.060 views in a conversation or two. It just doesn't happen. But you might get them a little bit
00:51:46.660 more open-minded about the possibility that he's not the monster they first thought i hope that
00:51:54.680 helps all right oh and i hope it helps too oh oh oh well i think this happened to him the other day
00:52:04.660 you just made him disappear voila i'll do whatever you need erica don't make me disappear
00:52:10.980 never marcella never um here comes owen again but you know i was just talking to someone yesterday
00:52:19.480 and they were saying you know i oh still um i you know i don't know what to say to people when you
00:52:26.420 know there are challenging things and i'm like just ask questions just what scott said you know
00:52:30.520 all you have to do is just start asking them questions instead of um defending trump ask
00:52:37.680 them to explain themselves and then find out if you can like agree on anything but i i love that
00:52:45.200 lesson marcella and i love when scott would be in his closet doing lessons i mean it's hysterical
00:52:50.460 so i'm in my closet because there's a leaf flower that he wanted to i remember there was a i think
00:52:58.700 owen shared a news item about leaf blowers and how like they were making them like have no noise or
00:53:05.600 something like that, noiseless. And he was in love with that, but he made it for leaf blowers.
00:53:11.020 Yes. And rightfully so. So do you want to add anything to that for everybody who's going to
00:53:16.600 practice this? Behind Our Nation's Defense is a powerful network of Canadian communities

00:53:57.640 Oh, you know, for Thanksgiving, I'm sure, you know, I am a target, of course, as a Trump supporter, but I've been, we've been, all of us have been there before for three years.
00:54:15.920 is just now I'm kind of in agreement with them on certain points. But I think I'm not going to
00:54:25.540 disclose that so much because then they're going to have grounds for that. And my cat's right here.
00:54:32.080 I wonder if your cat's hearing my cat. I know. Oh. But Owen, let's... All right. So, Owen,
00:54:40.600 what are, where did Marcella go? That's funny, Scott Ritchie, like I banished her.
00:54:48.020 So Owen, on this lesson, you know, again, for the, for the fam, you know, what, what highlights
00:54:55.180 should we take away from that? Well, I mean, my, my first thought is just, you know, there's not
00:55:02.180 necessarily any reason to even engage in political conversation at Thanksgiving. But if you are,
00:55:08.420 I think it's a great approach. I think it's just I the way I think about it is like, you know, my my wife and I disagree on politics and, you know, who we think we should vote for.
00:55:18.620 And I just try not to talk to her about it because it's not going to be productive.
00:55:24.120 You know, I'm not going to convince her to vote Republican. She's not going to convince me to vote Democrat.
00:55:27.960 So what's the point? We do sometimes talk about it and that's OK, too.
00:55:33.100 It's not like it's a hard rule or anything, but I think it's just like, I value my relationship with my wife and my family who are also mostly Democrat more than I do any kind of political discussion. Like why, you know, I don't see any reason to get into a conflicting conversation and make it a big deal out of that stuff. And I'd rather just focus on more personal things and our relationships and talk about things that are more relevant, like our families and what we're doing and all those other things.
00:55:59.700 So if you are trying to persuade them, I think Scott's approach does make a lot of sense by asking questions and being more indirect about it and not just trying to push your ideas or win a debate.
00:56:12.060 That that's not a very good approach, because, you know, if you've tried that online or anywhere else, you've probably seen what happens.
00:56:17.960 People just dig in and defend their position and get angry and don't want to listen to you.
00:56:23.320 So if you ask them questions, it draws them into an actual conversation with you.
00:56:28.000 Yeah. And I think that makes it much more of a real discussion where there could be a changing of minds. And I think part of the underlying persuasion technique is that when you ask people questions and they come up with their own answers, then they think it's my idea.
00:56:42.920 You know, like they don't think that you're trying to persuade them or push them towards something. They're just answering the question themselves. And so if you can use those questions to maybe craftily lead them in a direction, then they may end up moving their own position and not think, oh, you convinced me. It's more like I decided to change my mind and that's a much more effective way of persuading people.
00:57:05.560 I want to give my take on this for the holiday. I'm telling you, just try it. If anyone tries it
00:57:13.100 and it works, just let me know. So if you are a, I don't even want to say a Trump supporter,
00:57:19.360 if you're just a Republican and your family knows, and maybe you're the odd man out, whatever,
00:57:24.840 there is going to be extra gloating from the left. Okay. Here's what I would do. Hand to God.
00:57:33.880 here's what I would do. If, if the, the Dems were like, Oh yeah, you guys took a shot at it.
00:57:41.220 I'd be like, dude, it was a blood bath. Like we sucked so bad. And then that's it. And then it's 0.98
00:57:49.520 like, Oh, all right. Well, that wasn't fun. It's like, no, yeah, we sucked bad, man. You know,
00:57:55.480 pass the gravy because it's true. And then you like take the wind out of their sails. You're
00:58:02.120 like, yeah, I can agree with that. And I think you can move on from there. Um, that's typically
00:58:07.720 what I would do. So try that technique too, if you're afraid to debate, because we kind of don't
00:58:14.520 really have a leg to stand on right now. It's like too soon from the election to Thanksgiving.
00:58:19.180 It's like that. And I think that Owen's right, you know, and, and Marcella, you know, like we
00:58:26.040 all know it's, you're better off not talking about politics with the family. If you want to stay a
00:58:31.100 family. Um, so just, I would say, just try to acknowledge and move on. And if they keep on
00:58:36.920 going, be like, you know, listen, you guys won everything. Like congrats, you guys won everything
00:58:43.060 and just see if you can just move on from it because it's not worth it. It's not worth it
00:58:50.120 to have these conversations. Um, and if you're pressed into it, try what Scott suggested and
00:58:55.800 ask questions. If you maybe had a little too much of the eggnog and you're a little
00:59:01.020 spicy and you want to have a debate, try Scott's techniques. So, um, yeah, flesh. Yeah. It's the
00:59:08.940 midterms. This happens all the time. We always flip flop, but you know what? Give them a little,
00:59:14.460 just be like, yeah, it was brutal, man. It was brutal. So got to give you that. Um, so anyway,
00:59:19.760 we have just a couple, we have one minute and no Andy Wang. Oh, there's Andy. Andy,
00:59:25.580 I've been looking for you. I don't know where you have been, but I'm not happy about this.
00:59:30.060 I have a clip for you. And thank you, Crusher. Andy is here for the goodbye and the time,
00:59:38.460 Nazism. I appreciate it. So Andy, I pulled in the Alec clip for you. I'm sure you've seen it. 1.00
00:59:45.260 But this is just to show you, not everybody's sad about the election results. Alec Baldwin,
00:59:51.260 although he looks like hell, he did murder a woman and he's a disaster. He's happy. This is 0.99
01:00:00.100 happy Alec Baldwin. I got out of bed, came down to my kitchen to leave a message. I just did a
01:00:07.860 seven minute message, me yammering on, but I've decided to cut it down to this. We've been in
01:00:15.900 this nightmare we've been living in this nightmare for me my political consciousness it's been a
01:00:22.100 nightmare I can't believe we've arrived where we've arrived but that nightmare the beginning
01:00:28.860 of the end of that nightmare is tomorrow tomorrow tomorrow we go and make our first step in the
01:00:38.700 direction we think this country should go in which is to really really be more sane the world we're
01:00:45.700 in now, the America we're in now is insane. It's insane. We do everything contradictory to all
01:00:50.980 common wisdom, the common wisdom of people around the world. And here we are in this nightmare.
01:01:01.760 We get off that path tomorrow. Tomorrow. 2028, that's an eternity. Two years is an eternity
01:01:09.560 in political terms.
01:01:11.600 Tomorrow, the midterm, we begin
01:01:13.300 to step in the direction
01:01:15.540 of getting away from this
01:01:17.140 nightmare.
01:01:22.920 It begins tomorrow.
01:01:24.980 I'll be voting tomorrow morning
01:01:26.260 on my way to work.
01:01:28.400 I hope you'll be voting at some point
01:01:30.100 tomorrow as well.
01:01:31.840 Okay. God bless the United States of America.
01:01:35.400 No, no, no.
01:01:36.760 God bless you, Alec Baldwin.
01:01:38.520 God bless you.
01:01:39.560 thank you um okay you guys i mean the nightmare is over for alec baldwin bless him you know what
01:01:46.700 he should get some of that plexiderm for the eye bags have you ever seen that you like tap this
01:01:52.260 cream on your face and in five minutes you're flat is that work he needs to try it he should
01:01:58.380 try that and for oh my gosh can i tell you how many times i get scolded for smoking on the show
01:02:04.340 people. It's not a real cigarette. It's a, look, ow, it's fake. Okay. It's just a little prop for
01:02:13.100 me. I like a prop once in a while. Owen had to go, in case you didn't know. I was like,
01:02:19.900 he got banished again. I'm not going to do that. Again. I was like, get out.
01:02:24.600 I'm all trying to figure out where I can grab something to look cool and smoke.
01:02:29.560 Oh, I'll send you a pack of cigarettes.
01:02:31.740 You guys, a quick goodbye from Splashy Dog.
01:02:41.480 Such a happy dog.
01:02:43.000 His muscles, that dog.
01:02:44.740 One last groan from Jamie.
01:02:49.860 And now we can end the week.
01:02:53.780 So listen, thank you, you guys, for being here.
01:02:56.760 It was a difficult week, you guys.
01:02:58.400 so um you know we got through our first election as the scott adams school and you know it wasn't
01:03:05.340 a fun one to get through but we got through it we're we're gonna all look at the baby

01:04:46.940 you on Monday. So this is a long goodbye. I know. I wasn't telling them that yet. Oh, okay. Sorry.
01:04:56.320 So we'll miss you, Marcella. We'll be thinking about you. And to Scott and Shelly, thank you so
01:05:02.900 much for, um, the existence of the Scott Adams school for allowing it to be here and to all my

01:05:19.820 up here and contributes. You guys are amazing and special. So a shout out to all of you guys too.

01:05:34.060 for the world. So you guys, closing sip to Scott. To Scott.
01:05:44.360 You guys. So have a great weekend. Don't forget to join Owen at the after party on Saturday.
01:05:52.220 We'll be back here on Monday.

01:05:55.860 And I can tell you on Tuesday, because Marcella won't be here, that Kyle Becker's joining us
01:06:02.240 on Tuesday.
01:06:03.000 So that'll be fun.
01:06:04.320 We'll see Kyle Becker.
01:06:05.680 It's been a while.
01:06:06.420 So we're looking forward to that.
01:06:08.220 Thanks, Josie.
01:06:09.160 And if anyone wants an Akira song, I'm happy to play one.
01:06:13.840 And if you have to go, Marcella, I'm not sure of your schedule.
01:06:16.720 So it's up to you.
01:06:20.960 But...
01:06:21.440 Depends on the song.
01:06:23.800 Well, well, hmm.
01:06:29.560 You guys, what should we do?
01:06:32.420 Get out.
01:06:32.780 Get out.
01:06:33.600 Did we just do get out?
01:06:35.400 Well, let's do it.
01:06:36.920 I don't remember.
01:06:37.700 Did we just do get out?
01:06:39.280 Let's see.
01:06:40.100 I know Metallica.
01:06:41.320 Let's go.
01:06:44.500 Exit.
01:06:45.540 No, I can't even sing.
01:06:46.400 Yeah, yeah, yeah.
01:06:47.380 All right.
01:06:47.660 Let's do get out.
01:06:49.640 Right.
01:06:50.140 All right.
01:06:50.360 Here we go, guys.
01:06:51.440 Get out by Akira.
01:06:56.460 Get out of here.
01:06:57.820 Somebody asked me for a reframe to help them get out of their head and, you know, stop having ruminations and bad thoughts.
01:07:06.500 Good.
01:07:07.120 And I suggested the reframe that I tried myself, and it worked.
01:07:13.160 Where you just say, get out.
01:07:15.520 Where you just say, get out.
01:07:18.220 Akira.
01:07:19.580 Get out.
01:07:21.440 you just say get out just get out of your head now the frame that makes it work is to realize
01:07:33.220 that you are a person who has two completely different lives this is the key there's a part
01:07:39.480 of you that lives only in your head where you think about the past which literally doesn't
01:07:45.360 exist. It's imaginary. It existed at one point, but now it's just the thoughts of the best.
01:07:53.120 Get out. You just say, get out. But you also have thoughts of, oh, what will happen in the future?
01:08:07.200 I'm worried about the future. And that doesn't exist. Doesn't exist.
01:08:13.380 so the life you live in your head is a completely imaginary one things of the history in your past
01:08:21.060 that don't exist anymore and worries about the future that doesn't exist yet but the outside
01:08:27.140 world is all real stuff stuff you can touch breathe sense and we live in both of those worlds
01:08:33.540 we go back and forth and so the idea that i had that worked when i did it was i just said get out
01:08:40.980 What I meant was get out of the imaginary world
01:08:44.640 And get into the real one
01:08:47.120 Get out
01:08:49.440 Just say, get out
01:08:55.060 Get out
01:09:00.600 Just say, get out
01:09:06.220 and just walk out in the sun walk out the door pet the dog do a chore exercise just get out
01:09:20.160 and so i'm gonna ask you this as a favor try it once just try it once just tell yourself you have
01:09:28.960 two worlds there's the imaginary one in your head and then there's a real one and all sadness comes
01:09:34.740 from the imaginary one as soon as you find unpleasantness because you're in your head
01:09:39.220 get out just get out join the real world just go hey i'm in the real world yeah look at this
01:09:48.900 real world you'll feel instantly better the cure for it is to yell get out
01:09:56.260 Just say, get out
01:10:01.980 I want you to hold me, get out
01:10:05.820 Get out
01:10:07.620 Just say, get out
01:10:13.160 Get out
01:10:14.640 Get out
01:10:17.820 Get out
01:10:25.660 I'll get out of here
01:10:40.380 I'll get out of here
01:10:55.660 Oh, I love it. I just want that jam and those voices. I mean, I could just zen out hard with
01:11:04.140 that. I love it. Goldie. No, it doesn't mean like Victor Davis Hanson and stuff. There's too much
01:11:14.460 show promotion of other shows going on at the same time as this show. And so it would just be
01:11:21.920 appreciated just to focus on this show. That's all. Um, you guys, we, the, the memes, so many
01:11:30.320 of them I save, I just can't help it. I have to save them and laugh. And I show my friends we
01:11:34.180 crack up. Marcella, do you ever say these images or they crack me up? Always. Be for like a
01:11:42.880 Christmas card. SJV, you might be confused, but if you read the show notes, we have notes
01:11:54.400 every single day, show description every single day on every platform. You will see a message
01:12:00.740 from the principal's office in there. And if you have any confusion, just message me. My DMs are
01:12:07.560 always open for you which you know okay so you guys we're gonna go we've got a weekend to get to

01:13:15.220 missing the whole end of the show where things go haywire so she doesn't even know we're talking
01:13:20.180 about her oh i bet she does she's she will eventually find out right look see people are
01:13:29.300 saying hi to you mindy you don't even know she'd be like oh my god all of my best friend

01:13:57.900 the songs. All right, you guys. Thank you so, so much. It's SJV. Message me if you have any
01:14:06.680 questions. Okay. Oh, good. I can't wait to see pictures. And how are the cats adjusting to the
01:14:11.880 new place. Well, thank you, Metal Seer. Same for me. Oh, good. Does this shirt look blue?
01:14:21.720 What color does this shirt look? This was our question. It looks blue, dark blue to me, but.
01:14:30.560 Just curious. Oh my, thanks, Michael.
01:14:34.840 oh i like that metallica there robert i like it it looks blue you know what's that she's gonna
01:14:44.740 shock you though you're gonna shock them right erica it's not indigo blue interesting it is
01:14:53.440 actually like a charcoal gray or like a faded black
01:14:57.100 mm-hmm yep reality is not always what you think see see oh you guys wait what was your favorite
01:15:07.200 um part of the show this week like what thing was your favorite thing if you had to pick one
01:15:14.140 i keep meaning to ask you guys this let's see
01:15:19.460 fade to black exactly there's too many favorite parts to say any favorite part
01:15:27.420 well someone might have been like that thing was good oh the twerking
01:15:33.840 splashy dog i knew it was going to be splashy dog for somebody
01:15:37.620 you would love to talk about the influence on the show today's micro lesson yeah that was fun
01:15:48.700 coping mechanisms let's see
01:15:53.660 scott's whiteboards the micro lesson
01:15:59.420 tds scott clips oh my hoops are quite big jam um being sad together we need more israel bashing
01:16:13.620 I'm not bashing Israel. Um, Baldwin's eye bags. Love it. The cats hysterical. 0.62
01:16:24.800 Bye Jerry grooving to the music at the end.
01:16:31.580 Uh, Lang, we didn't discuss Tucker's take on Scott Pressler or Russell Brand. I know it's just,
01:16:41.040 it's too much to get into uh thank you thank you yes beverly how to get past the election
01:16:52.560 oh i know you were i know you're being serious
01:16:56.160 um yes scott's persuasion lessons we have more coming of course the cats talking through the
01:17:02.960 podcast. I'm so sorry. Stella, like now she's quiet. It's crazy. The day before the election
01:17:12.200 was your favorite. Uh, yeah, me too. Oh Lord. You guys are so cute. All right. So we'll be back next
01:17:23.060 week. Thank you so much and have a great weekend you guys. And, um, I like my take Marcella of
01:17:31.880 just if somebody comes up to you about the election, be like, you guys nailed it. You
01:17:35.820 guys nailed it. And it's over. You know what I'm saying? It's okay. And then you can move
01:17:41.380 on. Oh, your birthday. That's right. What does this say? Metallica. You have that shirt.
01:17:48.940 I like it. You have that shirt. Oh, look at, oh, look at you guys. I think this weekend
01:17:56.960 i may choose poison poison no no no i don't know you know like what you're saying is for me to say
01:18:06.320 oh yeah you guys obliterate us i no i don't i don't find myself saying that it's really hard no
01:18:13.600 oh i do it i love it it's so easy because they did no but they did but i'm not gonna admit to
01:18:20.800 it to them because this is why because then you're gonna sound like delusional like them
01:18:26.320 no they're like the blood bath big dude it was a blood it was just
01:18:31.920 we only yeah it'd be like what elections oh my god be like oh my god did i forget to vote
01:18:40.160 well look at that look at that bird behind you if marcel is like what i would be like
01:18:47.120 oh i forgot to vote oh is it over you know it's hard for me because all i do is advocate for a
01:18:54.080 certain point and then for me to like just give up on that so in my perspective what i will say
01:19:02.560 is that the republican party lost but conservatism hasn't but what conservatism hasn't yeah yeah
01:19:10.880 because that was not on the ballot yeah or you could just be like yeah the republicans lost and
01:19:18.240 And fricking communism won. 0.54
01:19:22.540 Yup. 0.99
01:19:23.440 It's going to suck being in a bread line.
01:19:25.360 It's not going to happen. 0.63
01:19:26.340 Don't worry.
01:19:26.580 I'm just saying what to say.
01:19:28.080 Okay, you guys.
01:19:28.900 Love you so much.
01:19:30.080 I can never say goodbye.
01:19:32.220 I just can't.
01:19:33.500 You hang up.
01:19:34.240 No.
01:19:34.660 No, Marcella.
01:19:35.440 You hang up.
01:19:37.460 Let's see.
01:19:38.680 It's, of course, it's not the end.
01:19:40.400 Oh, wait a minute.
01:19:42.100 It's just the beginning.
01:19:43.780 Wait a minute.
01:19:44.980 Wait one minute.
01:19:48.240 Did I say wait a minute yet? Here we go.
01:19:51.300 Full disclosure, a number of people have called today, and Mr. Snerdly has put them up there.
01:19:59.960 You said that you would tell us when it's time to panic.
01:20:03.640 You said that you thought the election was over.
01:20:07.140 You said this and you said that.
01:20:10.580 And so let me try to answer all of these challenging questions that you have.
01:20:16.600 Yes, I've told you when it's time to panic.
01:20:20.160 I have said over and over again that I'll
01:20:22.000 tell you when it's time to panic.
01:20:23.980 It isn't time to panic because I'm never
01:20:26.120 going to panic.
01:20:28.460 I'm never going to give up.
01:20:30.100 So no, it's not time to panic.
01:20:32.200 It's not time to run away.
01:20:33.440 It's not time to walk away.
01:20:35.300 It's never going to be time to run away or walk away
01:20:38.040 from the country.
01:20:39.260 I'm never going to run away from the United States of America.
01:20:41.760 I may die, but I'm not going to run away
01:20:44.000 from the United States of America.
01:20:45.500 I'm not going to give up. I am not going to tell you to give up. I'm not going to tell you to walk
01:20:50.880 away. I'm not going to tell you it's time to panic. You can keep asking if you want, but I'm
01:20:55.600 always going to tell you no. Even though I've told you I'll tell you when it's time to panic,
01:20:59.620 it's never going to be time to panic. You know why? Panic never accomplished anything.
01:21:07.280 So if you're thinking that we've gotten to a point where even I might tell you that we've
01:21:14.060 reached the last draw. No way. Never. Ever. Not going to happen, folks. Not as long as I'm
01:21:20.860 drawing a breath. There will never be panic. There will never be walking away. There will
01:21:26.640 never be abandoning the country. And there sure as hell isn't going to be me telling you to.
01:21:35.320 That was always designed as a humorous point, like a rhetorical question.
01:21:44.060 i'll tell you when it's time to panic but it's never gonna be
01:21:47.900 i mean amen rush sorry marcella i mean to make you cry i i mean i i know i love him i listened
01:22:00.360 to him since 1992 to when he died um and one of the reasons i speak english is because of him
01:22:08.800 I learned how to speak English through him. We can't panic. Rush wouldn't want us to.
01:22:17.380 Yeah. No. Scott wouldn't want us to. Charlie Kirk wouldn't want us to. Yep. No, we can't panic.
01:22:23.560 It sucks. It sucks. It sucks. But we can't panic. And we're all together. And 1.00
01:22:30.820 it's not unusual. It's just that the candidates this time were really messed up. And the fact
01:22:38.300 that they won was messed up, but the balance of power and the flip-flopping is not unusual,
01:22:43.740 but we got to, we've got to get our priorities straight. A lot of, a lot of things are going
01:22:48.660 to have to change. Um, and I, I've seen some of the change starting already and I'm not going to
01:22:55.920 talk about it yet, but I think that there's some good things coming down for the people that are
01:23:01.940 truly putting our country first i think we have options so i think it'll be good all right you
01:23:08.500 guys so it was good to end with with a little bit of rush right just to remind us we're not panicans
01:23:15.220 okay oh anytime you play rush i'm just like whoa like the amount of
01:23:22.340 wisdom that he had um and none of us can panic but also america keeps going we're now gonna
01:23:29.940 lose america and now some people in the chat are saying scott rush charlie yeah um many others
01:23:40.100 we gotta keep doing this for them a hundred percent and um you know i might now that the
01:23:49.060 election's over not that i i wasn't being authentic before but i feel like uh while we're in this
01:23:56.420 this lame duck season, you're going to probably see a little bit more spice from me. And I think
01:24:02.460 from Marcella, um, a little bit more of the hard truths and things that might not feel so popular
01:24:09.260 or, or pleasant, but like, we're never giving up on this country. And if that means, you know,
01:24:15.220 talking more frankly about things, then that's what we're going to do. So it's what's necessary,
01:24:20.960 but listen, we're, we're fighters and we're winners. And this country is worth people being
01:24:28.040 mad at me for saying something. I don't, I mean, you guys, you know, I don't care if you're mad at
01:24:31.600 me for saying something, but this country is worth it. So, um, I'm going to do my best to
01:24:38.000 bring the most honest takes on the issues that are before us. And Marcella and Owen, um, you know,
01:24:46.520 Marcella is always doing the same thing. Like what, not, not, not the thing that you want to
01:24:53.460 hear, but the thing that you need to hear. And Owen, um, as we always say, bring stoicism,
01:24:58.820 you know, he, he believes deeply in the things he believes in too, and maybe he'll bring it in a
01:25:04.340 more pleasant, more palpable way for you, but we're always going to tell you the truth. Um,
01:25:10.000 not what you want to hear. So I hope that that's okay with you guys. Cause that's how it's going
01:25:14.140 to be moving forward. And, um, we got it. We got to get back up on the saddle and we are, we're
01:25:20.800 good. All right. Back on the saddle. Back on it, sister. Giddy up, giddy up, bitches. Let's go.
01:25:30.040 I'm like, I don't know. I would have to disclose. I don't know how to ride a horse, but.
01:25:35.380 I do. I got you. I got you. Okay. Okay. Yeah. Beverly, exactly. 25% won't like it.
01:25:40.480 julies you're here for it listen we're here for it too you know what i mean like we don't want to
01:25:44.780 be fluffy just because it makes you feel good it's like we want to be factual and friendly and
01:25:50.900 we'll have fun and scott will give us all of the lessons along the way and uh thanks frank and uh
01:25:56.840 let's get her done let's get her done we got a country to save 2028 we'll be here before we know
01:26:03.020 it so giddy on up all right love you guys so much i'm saying goodbye for real marcella i'll be
01:26:08.800 talking to over the weekend. And, um, you guys see you later, alligators. Don't forget to join
01:26:14.820 Owen tomorrow. Okay. You guys say bye first and then we'll go. No, you first. No, you first.
01:26:24.900 Bye for real, right? For real, for real, for real, for real.
01:26:38.800 You
