00:01:14.340 Welcome to Rebel Roundup, ladies and gentlemen, and the rest of you,

00:01:32.880 in which we look back at some of the very best commentaries of the week by your favourite rebels.

00:01:37.700 I'm your host, David Menzies.

00:01:39.680 It would seem that on some days it is Pastor Arthur Pawlowski versus the world.

00:01:46.880 Bylaw, law enforcement, the justice system, the media party, all have targeted Arthur.

00:01:52.760 But recently the pastor was physically assaulted at a store by a random wild Karen. 0.97

00:02:00.240 Adam Seuss has all the disturbing details.

00:02:03.060 Oh joy, Quebec has finally lifted its laughable COVID curfew.

00:02:08.940 But why was there a curfew in place in the first place?

00:02:13.460 Is the Wuhan virus actually able to tell the time?

00:02:17.700 Our Montreal correspondent, Yankee Pollack, has been covering the curfew circus in La Belle Provence since day one.

00:02:25.400 And he has plenty to say.

00:02:27.440 And letters, we get your letters.

00:02:29.040 We get them every minute of every day.

00:02:30.720 And you had plenty to say about Hockey Hypocrisy Night in Canada.

00:02:35.060 Namely, last Saturday the Montreal Canadiens were able to host a playoff game,

00:02:39.720 welcoming 2,500 fans into the Bell Centre,

00:02:43.960 assuming one was able to afford those exorbitantly priced tickets, that is.

00:02:48.740 Yet the question arises, why are multi-millionaire NHL players allowed to play hockey,

00:02:54.600 but hundreds of thousands of kids across Canada remain shut out from doing so?

00:03:00.720 Yet more weird science vis-a-vis the COVID-19 file.

00:03:05.060 Those are your Rebels, now let's round them up.

00:03:13.060 Adam Slaus here for Rebel News, and I'm with Pastor Artur Pawlowski once again.

00:03:16.780 We were going to try and leave you alone for a day or two, but obviously things continue to happen.

00:03:21.840 You've been the subject of quite a bit of malice.

00:03:24.080 There was an attempted fire.

00:03:25.700 I'm sure some less than nice messages have been sent to you.

00:03:28.380 But everything sort of escalated on Saturday.

00:03:30.880 You were out with your daughter after a baptism, I think, getting a cake.

00:03:34.640 And someone confronted you, is that right?

00:03:36.700 Yeah, I took my daughter, Maya, so she's 12.

00:03:39.520 I took her to buy her a birthday cake.

00:03:42.800 And we walked inside, and of course, minding our own business.

00:03:46.580 And this gentleman, well, he's not a gentleman, he started to attack us.

00:03:50.660 I mean, right in the store for me, for not wearing a mask.

00:03:54.380 You know, I have my exemption, and I cannot wear a mask, and I will not wear a mask.

00:03:59.280 And we left.

00:04:00.720 We minded our own business.

00:04:02.180 We paid for our groceries and Maya's cake.

00:04:05.400 And we walked outside, and he just came charging.

00:04:09.360 F this, F that.

00:04:10.960 Like, I mean, unbelievable outburst of hate.

00:04:14.240 And, you know, at that moment, I realized this is all on politicians and the mainstream media.

00:04:20.860 Because what they're creating, they're creating hate.

00:04:23.420 They're creating malice.

00:04:25.260 They're creating this situation when people are actually snapping.

00:04:29.400 They're breaking.

00:04:30.260 They can't take this anymore.

00:04:31.640 Like, one and a half year almost, and the people are really, really snapping.

00:04:35.780 So he comes to me so close, and boom, he punches me in the head for nothing.

00:04:41.920 I mean, can you imagine?

00:04:43.840 Maybe he recognized me from the TV, from newspapers.

00:04:47.380 Maybe he heard Jason Kenney, our wonderful premier, saying,

00:04:51.340 I'll crush Pawlowski's.

00:04:52.900 Maybe he wanted to help our wonderful minister of justice, Madhu.

00:04:56.700 I'll crush Pawlowski's, and here, I'm going to help you out. 0.99

00:05:00.140 I mean, this is what our society is becoming.

00:05:03.580 You know, what happened with the nice Canadians? 1.00

00:05:05.820 All around the world, people always thought Canadians are nice. 0.95

00:05:09.120 They're tolerant.

00:05:10.000 What happened with the tolerance now?

00:05:12.360 What happened with being nice?

00:05:13.920 What happened with being human?

00:05:15.680 We're losing our humanity.

00:05:18.180 You know, we're losing humanity because of the politicians and because of the mainstream media.

00:05:25.520 So my glasses flew off the air.

00:05:28.200 My daughter doesn't know what's going, you know, what's happening right now.

00:05:31.460 I placed my groceries on the ground and I went to take a picture of the guy.

00:05:36.500 I mean, no, I'm not going to get, you know, I'm not going to let him get away with this.

00:05:40.740 This has to be reported.

00:05:42.600 They cannot just keep, you know, smashing people's heads like this.

00:05:46.040 And when I went to take a picture, boom, he charges again.

00:05:50.340 I mean, over and over and over again.

00:05:53.680 And he is just really trying to punch me.

00:05:56.300 And he was an older guy.

00:05:58.020 And I thought to myself, if I'm going to react, you know, I can really hurt this man, especially with my skills.

00:06:04.120 Just, I don't want to do this.

00:06:05.820 What happened to those people?

00:06:08.920 Well, the Pastor Arthur Pawlowski saga continues.

00:06:12.840 Last month, he was brutally arrested on an active highway, no less.

00:06:17.240 And then he was tossed in the slammer.

00:06:18.980 His crime, well, simply improving the lives of those who are a wee bit down on their luck.

00:06:25.200 And now a random wild male Karen recently violently assaulted him.

00:06:31.200 And this comes on the heels of some thugs who tried to burn down his property.

00:06:36.900 And really, what is the deal with that?

00:06:39.980 Well, joining me now for the latest chapter regarding the Pastor Pawlowski saga is the man who's been following this from the beginning.

00:06:47.580 And that would be Adam Seuss.

00:06:49.320 Welcome to Rebel Roundup, Adam.

00:06:51.180 Thank you very much.

00:06:51.780 Happy to be here.

00:06:52.500 Great.

00:06:53.180 Adam, I couldn't help but notice that headline in your report.

00:06:56.980 It was for a Calgary Herald story about the pastor.

00:07:00.360 And the headline read as thus, quote,

00:07:04.620 Neighbors of Street Church Terrorized by Anti-Mask Preacher and Followers.

00:07:11.500 End quote.

00:07:12.560 Terrorized?

00:07:13.540 Wait a second, Adam.

00:07:14.880 Just who is terrorizing whom here?

00:07:18.640 Yeah.

00:07:19.180 And it's just getting ridiculous at this point.

00:07:21.800 Like, when media outlets do show up, they might interview one person who's attending the event.

00:07:27.280 Then of the four people who are protesting against it, they'll talk to three of them.

00:07:31.980 There was no real coverage of the fact that a couple weeks ago a few hundred people gathered outside the church, sung prayers together, had worship, had this wonderful time outside, and then left the area without incident.

00:07:45.100 The only article covering it, the only reporting on the event, was this article citing terrorism, or that they were terrorizing the neighborhood.

00:07:53.000 It's unbelievable and untrue.

00:07:54.320 There's no mention of the neighbors.

00:07:55.740 And I spoke with the neighbors.

00:07:56.900 You know, they're all human beings.

00:07:58.300 Everyone's in this.

00:07:58.940 There's conflicts.

00:07:59.560 I get it.

00:07:59.960 But they're the ones shouting, hail, Satan.

00:08:03.420 They're the ones swearing at the top of their lungs when children are playing in the playground daycare facilities right there.

00:08:09.260 And to say that the peaceful worshipers, sure, maybe the music was a little loud and a nuisance at most. 0.98

00:08:15.600 But to call them, to say they're terrorizing the neighborhood, it's ridiculous. 0.98

00:08:18.940 Wow. 0.99

00:08:19.180 How shameful.

00:08:20.120 But again, not surprising when it comes to the mainstream media.

00:08:23.040 But, you know, Adam, this was very disturbing when the pastor, he's just going about his own business, shopping, and this actual physical altercation happens.

00:08:36.260 Do we know exactly how this erupted?

00:08:39.720 Or was this simply somebody that recognized him, doesn't agree with his stance or his politics, and thinks he's somehow entitled to shut him down with fisticuffs?

00:08:50.720 Yeah, and I think it's the latter.

00:08:53.520 How this started, ultimately, I think that when push comes to shove, it's going to show that irresponsible reporting, government policies, and a lot of malice directed towards Pastor Arthur Pawlowski has gotten people riled up.

00:09:09.080 And because of these lockdown restrictions, people are already at a breaking point.

00:09:13.040 So you have these incredibly tense people, maybe people dealing with mental illness, and then you have Jason Kenney or other media parties saying, well, it's because of people like this, and they show Arthur Pawlowski, that you aren't free, that things aren't back to normal.

00:09:26.720 So get rid of this guy, get rid of anyone who agrees with him, and make sure you get your vaccines, then you can have your normal life back.

00:09:33.000 It's militarizing the population at large.

00:09:36.280 What's most concerning about this, though, to be honest, though, is, let's say, Arthur was out with his brother or with a couple of guys, and there was an altercation, fisticuffs, whatever.

00:09:44.960 He's from Poland.

00:09:45.920 He grew up rough.

00:09:46.660 He's seen that stuff before.

00:09:48.160 This, though, he was with his 12-year-old daughter shopping for a birthday cake and a baptismal celebration cake.

00:09:56.000 So he was not out there causing trouble.

00:09:58.180 He wasn't yelling at anybody.

00:09:59.520 He's got a medical exemption, so he wasn't wearing a mask.

00:10:01.640 But he's buying a cake with his daughter, and someone starts shouting at him.

00:10:05.400 Yeah, you know, and more than shouting, actually getting handsy with him.

00:10:09.300 And, you know, I'm always shocked, and certainly myself, other rebel reporters, we've encountered this in the field where we've been physically attacked.

00:10:19.600 And I'm always shocked at the entitlement.

00:10:21.520 And I think, you know, we see on the left there's that phrase that they cling to to justify physicality, which is punch a Nazi.

00:10:32.500 But what I'm getting at, Adam, is that, well, unless you're hellbent on world conquest and you're carrying out a genocide, the idea that somebody with a contrary opinion to you is a Nazi,

00:10:46.380 it actually completely demeans what happened 80 years ago in world history, they have taken it to, if somebody has a differing opinion,

00:10:57.360 well, not only can you yell at them, not only can you use profanity, you can actually get physical.

00:11:03.680 Whatever happened to the loving, tolerant left, Adam? 0.94

00:11:07.060 Yeah, there is a certain hypocrisy.

00:11:10.720 There's like this strategic front.

00:11:12.340 They talk to the media.

00:11:13.480 It's all this.

00:11:14.260 Love that.

00:11:14.800 Love this.

00:11:15.620 And then the second they have the opportunity to get someone alone, they'll shout at them, tear at them.

00:11:19.760 I think the big problem, though, and it's the irony being they're saying that you're Nazis, and then they're violently enforcing their own policies.

00:11:27.200 That's more Nazi-like, in my opinion. 0.88

00:11:29.520 But when you talk to these people one-on-one, within about five minutes, they start to become disarmed, and then you start to have a real conversation.

00:11:37.960 There's a human being in there.

00:11:39.320 We can't forget that.

00:11:40.300 The problem is when they get together, whether it be in their online forums or in person, they get together, and then one person says something,

00:11:47.080 the next person steps it up a notch, and they radicalize each other.

00:11:49.940 So people who might otherwise disagree with you but kind of be respectful or maybe at the very most swear at you,

00:11:55.880 they get together in a group, and suddenly there's this mentality of we need to act, and violence is justifiable, which is just wrong.

00:12:02.540 Oh, 100%.

00:12:03.340 I mean, and they seem blind to the perverse irony of it all, Adam.

00:12:07.980 I mean, I look at Antifa.

00:12:09.640 That's a contraction for anti-fascism, and yet they employ all the tactics of fascism.

00:12:15.840 It's not Antifa.

00:12:17.060 It's simply just fa.

00:12:18.640 Fa classic, right?

00:12:19.980 But one other thing I wanted to get to, we saw a screen capture of the individual that was assaulting Arthur,

00:12:27.980 and I couldn't help but notice that he had his mask on below his nose.

00:12:34.440 So really, he's preaching about COVID-19 safety protocols.

00:12:41.400 If he went into one of the shops that were in that mall, he'd get yelled at for not wearing his mask properly.

00:12:48.400 What do you make of that, Adam?

00:12:50.300 Well, I mean, you look at Grace Life Church.

00:12:52.660 There's people counter-protesting Grace Life, and they had a sign, and it said something to the effect of what would Jesus do,

00:12:59.140 and it said gather with a cohort of 12.

00:13:02.100 Well, that violates the Alberta health restrictions guidelines at most times.

00:13:06.380 So I don't know.

00:13:08.060 Same thing.

00:13:08.500 When you were in the LCBO, they wouldn't give you your liquor bottle.

00:13:11.440 There's a clear sign on the door that says that part of the whole conflict there was you didn't put a mask on at the start,

00:13:17.080 and then they're in a room that says no more than two people.

00:13:19.700 They've got four people.

00:13:20.660 As you joked, it was a super spreader event.

00:13:22.760 There's just no consistency.

00:13:24.860 It's all just say one thing, do another.

00:13:27.100 And the worst example of all, as these pastors are being arrested,

00:13:30.660 conversely, people are being let into hockey games or whatever,

00:13:33.340 but Jason Kenney's up on the Sky Palace sitting with his friends drinking and eating

00:13:38.240 while telling us we can't do that,

00:13:40.060 and then they have the audacity to say,

00:13:42.080 well, no, this is part of phase one.

00:13:43.480 You're allowed to do this.

00:13:44.380 No, you're not.

00:13:44.940 They say you're supposed to target no more than two families.

00:13:48.080 They had like five, six different households sitting at one table. 0.97

00:13:50.640 It's just ridiculous. 0.96

00:13:51.720 They can't keep their story straight. 0.95

00:13:53.160 Yeah, you know, I never thought of that, Adam.

00:13:54.880 I guess Premier Kenney is delighted the Oilers were ousted in the first round by the Winnipeg Jets.

00:14:01.220 That way he doesn't have to do a hard decision to let some people come into the building,

00:14:06.700 whatever that number is that's so arbitrary.

00:14:08.500 One last question, Adam, as we head into the weekend.

00:14:12.640 What is the very latest in terms of Arthur Pawlowski and his ongoing battles, of which there are many?

00:14:21.020 Yes.

00:14:21.660 So last week, because of the restrictions being slackened to some extent,

00:14:26.180 on May 27th, Dina Hinshaw actually sort of threw an amendment on to our lockdown restrictions, 1.00

00:14:32.200 and it was basically to allow political protests.

00:14:35.140 This was May 27th.

00:14:36.100 This took place, I believe.

00:14:37.340 And it basically said you can gather in unlimited numbers as long as you have masks on and you aren't feeding people.

00:14:42.680 So what most people took that to mean is like a pro-Palestinian or a political protest.

00:14:47.920 How those look is okay.

00:14:49.580 But the kitchens where they're feeding homeless people who are still hungry, those aren't going to be allowed.

00:14:53.960 But so last weekend, Pastor Arthur, he stayed distanced from people because he really doesn't want to jeopardize his court thing.

00:15:00.120 But with these new measures, he was actually able to baptize his daughter and be around his family and be out for baptism.

00:15:06.540 There will be worship on Saturday, again, as always, at Pastor Art's Church.

00:15:11.500 Similarly with Pastor Tim Stevens, they are going ahead with worship.

00:15:14.940 Pastor Arthur has been staying away from worship.

00:15:17.660 Now, we don't know for this Saturday for sure, or at least I can't share, exactly what may go down.

00:15:22.900 But with the slackened restrictions, there is always that possibility that we might get an appearance from one of our famous pastors at worship on Saturday.

00:15:30.680 Again, can't confirm anything.

00:15:32.640 Unbelievable.

00:15:33.120 Well, I know I'm just so disturbed by what you said just a moment ago that you can have a pro-Hamas rally where anti-Semitic rhetoric is tossed around like confetti at a victory parade.

00:15:48.000 But don't you dare feed homeless, hungry people.

00:15:52.120 That is across the line. 0.99

00:15:54.240 Welcome to clown world, Adam. 0.93

00:15:56.500 I just wonder when we're ever going to get back to normal. 0.75

00:15:59.100 But in the meantime, thank you for all your hard work in covering the pastor's plight, because we certainly know the mainstream media is no friend of his, right?

00:16:11.640 Right.

00:16:12.560 Okay, you have a good weekend, my friend.

00:16:14.640 Thanks so much for having me.

00:16:15.620 You got it.

00:16:16.440 And that was Adam Seuss in Calgary.

00:16:18.920 Keep it here, folks.

00:16:20.160 More of Rebel Roundup to come right after this.

00:16:22.280 Hi, everyone.

00:16:29.160 Tonight is the last night of curfew.

00:16:31.620 One thing is sure, it's over by Friday night.

00:16:35.780 For now, at least.

00:16:37.140 I might come back.

00:16:39.300 Who knows?

00:16:39.980 But it's been a long five months of a lot of police harassment, police giving tickets to people, police running after people for the crime of being out on the street after a certain hour.

00:16:55.980 Sometimes it was 9.30, sometimes it was 8.00.

00:16:59.320 And I went back and forth and forth and back.

00:17:02.060 But that was Montreal and all of Quebec.

00:17:07.500 But now it's over.

00:17:09.100 Streets are still empty.

00:17:10.560 Well, there were people out earlier.

00:17:12.800 It's around 11.30 while I'm filming this.

00:17:18.080 There were people out today.

00:17:19.680 I got to speak to a few people.

00:17:21.520 Most people are still, like, shy.

00:17:25.080 They're like, well, technically there's still curfew.

00:17:27.760 I don't want to be on record being out.

00:17:29.800 And some people were willing to come on camera.

00:17:33.320 But let's do a little recap of the city of Montreal.

00:17:38.320 I've been covering it for approximately the last five months.

00:17:43.280 Tonight is the last night of the curfew.

00:17:45.200 How do you feel about the curfew and tonight being the last night?

00:17:48.580 Oh, it brings, it's very cold tonight in Montreal.

00:17:51.360 So it brings back the memories from January when this whole thing started.

00:17:54.720 I counted it and I was, it's 140 nights.

00:17:57.340 So it's just unbelievable that we've been so long locked up and we're finally getting out of jail.

00:18:03.340 As you can see, we are in the back of Cheskiv and 2265, one of the famous Jewish stores here in the quarter.

00:18:11.560 Basically, where we're standing here right now was the action for the last five months.

00:18:18.560 So basically, we would have had here cops stopping, ticketing people.

00:18:24.940 Basically, just making miserable the lives of every normal individual for no good damn reason. 0.58

00:18:32.760 Due to the reason of curfew.

00:18:34.240 How do you feel with a curfew ending?

00:18:35.880 Well, to be honest, I was out every night either way.

00:18:40.040 It's just that, at this point, it's just that I can drive and I see a cop and I can, I have the peace of mind to drive around in my communist country. 0.80

00:18:51.120 So, communist is the same.

00:18:53.680 It's state communist.

00:18:54.520 But the curfew, thank God that it's, that I'm over it.

00:19:02.020 I passed it.

00:19:02.980 I don't know anything.

00:19:03.840 I'm not a scientist.

00:19:04.780 I'm not a man.

00:19:05.740 I'm just a guy, you know, trying to make his world.

00:19:08.960 And it wasn't easy.

00:19:09.900 To be honest, I work two jobs.

00:19:11.120 I have to pay rent.

00:19:12.040 Like, I don't have CRB.

00:19:13.040 I don't have all these funny, fancy things.

00:19:15.020 And the curfew was actually entirely a detriment to my life.

00:19:18.740 So, Mr. Legault, thank you.

00:19:21.160 You made hell for my life since January.

00:19:24.520 I'm happy with the curfew over.

00:19:26.780 But to be honest, I anticipate it's going to happen again in three weeks.

00:19:29.700 Well, let's all pray that this fellow is wrong.

00:19:32.680 But would it surprise anyone if the curfew does get reinstated?

00:19:37.560 After all, during COVID, one thing has become abundantly clear.

00:19:42.400 Canada's premiers have proven that nobody is better when it comes to the fine art of flip-flopping.

00:19:49.820 And joining me now from Montreal is the man who was watching the watchers from day one of the curfew.

00:19:57.080 And that would be none other than Yankee Pollack.

00:19:59.300 How are you doing there, Yankee?

00:20:01.220 I'm doing pretty great.

00:20:03.240 Excellent.

00:20:03.640 Well, OK, so, Yankee, the curfew was rescinded exactly a week ago and good riddance to it.

00:20:11.780 But, Yankee, why was there a curfew put in place in Quebec in the first place?

00:20:17.020 I mean, can the Wuhan virus actually tell the time?

00:20:20.380 I'm convinced they can.

00:20:23.300 And sometimes it says it's 8 p.m. and sometimes it's 9.30 and it keeps on changing back and forth.

00:20:29.860 I'm pretty convinced that it could, in fact, see time.

00:20:33.200 And when you change the daylight savings time, it knew that as well.

00:20:39.800 I think it's a very smart virus.

00:20:41.700 As a matter of fact, the curfew in part is back starting tonight in downtown Montreal, the Old Port.

00:20:50.320 There will be a curfew from, I believe it's midnight to 6 a.m.

00:20:55.820 There's a curfew at the Old Port of Montreal.

00:20:58.560 Now, what is the ostensible policy reason for that, Yankee? 0.77

00:21:02.040 I know sometimes in the Old Port area of Montreal you have young people celebrating.

00:21:09.160 The last time it was for the Montreal Canadiens, no surprise there, defeating the Leafs.

00:21:16.680 But in a sense, I can't blame young people for wanting to get out in beautiful weather, burn off some steam,

00:21:27.420 because they can't go to clubs, they can't go to restaurants unless it's a patio.

00:21:31.200 But what's the problem that the authorities have with this?

00:21:35.760 Well, me and Mocha were out last weekend when it happened,

00:21:40.860 when all the young people were out there celebrating, having fun.

00:21:46.100 There were a lot of fireworks that went off.

00:21:48.100 There was a stabbing and a shooting as well.

00:21:50.920 And I guess the Montreal police or the city of Montreal, I'm not sure exactly who was implementing it,

00:21:56.440 and had enough, and just are implementing a curfew starting tonight at midnight.

00:22:04.560 And there's no end date for it, but it will be every day until 6 a.m.

00:22:09.840 So there's still a curfew going on, young people having fun.

00:22:14.840 It's probably the only places in Montreal where there's a big, not the only,

00:22:20.260 but it's one of the places where there's a lot of space for people to be out and have fun

00:22:25.880 and have your social distancing.

00:22:28.680 And that being shut down, instead of handling the crime,

00:22:31.680 they're just shutting everything down, putting a blanket on everything.

00:22:35.340 But, you know, Yankee, going back to when the major curfew was in place in Montreal,

00:22:41.620 and I came out a couple of times to meet you on the streets with the rest of our team,

00:22:46.140 what I found disturbing was, you know, Friday, Saturday nights,

00:22:50.960 members of the Jewish community being specifically targeted by the Montreal Police Service.

00:22:58.280 I was there to see one family get two tickets.

00:23:01.420 One was for violating the curfew, but, like, really, where's the danger?

00:23:06.700 It's a family unit of, I think it was three or four people.

00:23:10.260 And secondly, another ticket, I believe, for not having their identification papers.

00:23:16.920 And I thought the optics of this, people with guns going up to Jews and saying,

00:23:23.620 your papers, please.

00:23:24.760 I mean, I thought, what is this, Montreal in 2021 or Munich in 1933?

00:23:29.180 Yeah, I was there with you when that happened.

00:23:33.460 In the end, he only received the one ticket, although he was threatened, I believe, with two,

00:23:37.980 but he only got the one.

00:23:39.840 And, yeah, it's just, you know, going up to people.

00:23:43.660 And I have video of them going into people's houses because they needed,

00:23:48.960 because someone was walking in the street and didn't have their ID,

00:23:51.400 so they ran after him to his house and walked after him and then walked into his house to get his ID and papers.

00:24:00.460 Sheila had a story where they brought one guy home from the synagogue in cuffs in front of his children.

00:24:07.740 You know, it's ridiculous and outrageous what they have done, you know,

00:24:11.980 running after people for the crime of being out after a certain hour. 0.97

00:24:17.880 Like, it's ridiculous. 0.63

00:24:19.920 I thought it's a free country, but, you know, turns out it isn't.

00:24:24.740 And there's no way, scientifically or medically speaking, that is a super spreader event by any means.

00:24:30.740 But, Yankee, with the Montreal Police Service, and I have seen a police service like,

00:24:36.740 they blow any bad police force I've encountered right out of the water with the way they behave.

00:24:43.060 Would it, is it fair to say there might even be an undercurrent of anti-Semitism with this police force

00:24:49.780 in terms of not only how they were targeting the Jewish community, but you yourself,

00:24:54.180 you were accused at one point of being with Jew media.

00:24:59.240 Whatever that means, what's your take on that, Yankee?

00:25:03.320 Now, I don't like labeling people anti-Semitic.

00:25:06.240 Like, I do know that some cops at least are, and some cops made very strange and weird Jew remarks.

00:25:14.880 I have heard them, well, call me media Jew if.

00:25:19.220 They asked if Ephron and Mocha and Lincoln are Jews at one point.

00:25:26.060 And they also, I've heard them telling people, oh, don't, you know, at one point I filmed them saying,

00:25:35.400 oh, don't run over the Jews.

00:25:36.940 Like, it was very weird how some officers are, you know, making weird Jew remarks. 0.61

00:25:43.020 Now, I'm not saying that's all the officers.

00:25:46.340 I don't think all of them are.

00:25:48.140 I think it's a very few.

00:25:49.700 But they're just there, and they continue working, and especially in the Jewish area,

00:25:56.680 and it's like, you know, it's just a disaster waiting to happen.

00:26:00.780 They don't like the people they're working with.

00:26:02.860 You know, I'm pro-police.

00:26:04.680 I'm pro-community policing.

00:26:06.580 What I've seen during COVID, and especially during the curfew,

00:26:12.400 community policing thrown out of the window.

00:26:14.640 Kids used to respect the police.

00:26:16.880 Now, it's kids just don't care what the police have to say.

00:26:21.160 And what are we doing?

00:26:22.880 Like, this will take years and years to fix.

00:26:26.040 The years of building a community policing, and now it's all thrown out of the window

00:26:31.000 because what Francois Lagos said, it's too dangerous to walk after a certain hour.

00:26:36.020 Yeah, no, it really was damaging, and I think it was a self-inflicted wound

00:26:40.560 by the Montreal Police Service.

00:26:42.360 But you're kind of making my point, Yankee.

00:26:44.160 If there was police officers, and not all of them, of course, let's be fair,

00:26:48.960 but if they were asking Mocha and Afrin and Lincoln and so on,

00:26:54.260 are you a Jew, what the hell is the relevance to that? 0.79

00:26:57.980 Who cares if that person with the camera or the microphone 0.98

00:27:00.980 is Jewish, Muslim, Christian, Buddhist, Hindu, you name it?

00:27:05.620 I mean, I don't understand where that thought process is coming from.

00:27:09.400 But I guess more importantly, you're tied into the Jewish community there,

00:27:14.220 and the same community the police were having these patrols.

00:27:17.660 What is the reaction to people in that community?

00:27:22.440 How do they feel about how they have been treated these last few months

00:27:27.440 with these, I don't know, curfew quota expeditions the Montreal Police were going on?

00:27:34.640 I could tell you from speaking to people, they are not happy.

00:27:40.320 People that like police, respect the police, are now like, what's going on?

00:27:46.420 You know, we work with you.

00:27:48.480 We respect you.

00:27:50.220 There is almost no crime in that neighborhood.

00:27:53.160 There is no issues with the police in that neighborhood.

00:27:55.960 Police officers have no issue walking down the street over there.

00:27:58.420 They're not threatened in that area.

00:28:02.160 But, you know, they came in full force, showing, like, who is boss,

00:28:06.500 showing that they control the city, the biggest mob.

00:28:09.920 And I think it will have long-term effects on the community.

00:28:13.540 As I said, the kids in the community do not respect the police anymore.

00:28:17.560 Growing up, I was taught to respect the police, and I do respect the police.

00:28:21.560 At some point, a police officer asked me why I don't bag the blue,

00:28:25.160 and my answer was I do bag the blue.

00:28:29.300 I just don't bag the Montreal police.

00:28:31.260 The Montreal police is not part of the blue, in my view.

00:28:34.300 And that's how it is.

00:28:36.160 You know, if you're going to target people, harass people for no reason,

00:28:39.660 I will not bag you.

00:28:40.900 I back policing, good policing. 0.97

00:28:43.060 I will not bag garbage policing.

00:28:45.460 I'm totally with you there, Yankee.

00:28:47.200 I mean, I think this was a lose-lose situation.

00:28:49.900 On one hand, it was as though Montreal had no serious crime going on at nighttime

00:28:57.360 in other areas of the city, be it gun crime, human trafficking, burglary, you name it.

00:29:03.320 And secondly, the sheer amount of the resources being put into this,

00:29:08.300 both in terms of manpower and financially,

00:29:11.540 to write up tickets to families that there was no health issue,

00:29:16.720 there was no virus spreading issue here.

00:29:18.580 Your last thoughts on moving forward,

00:29:21.540 if we ever run into yet another wave where things have to get shut down,

00:29:25.960 if you had the ear of the Montreal police chief,

00:29:29.020 what would you tell him, Yankee?

00:29:31.860 Don't follow the tyrannical orders.

00:29:34.220 Just don't.

00:29:36.220 Indeed.

00:29:36.880 It's that simple.

00:29:37.660 That's right.

00:29:38.140 I think you're right.

00:29:38.940 Don't break your oath.

00:29:40.940 And hopefully that will be the case going forward.

00:29:44.440 But like I said,

00:29:45.240 that Montreal police service is like none I've ever seen.

00:29:48.260 I think there's a really rotten culture there.

00:29:50.980 I'm not saying there aren't good officers.

00:29:52.780 I'm not painting them all with the same brush.

00:29:55.220 But wow, it is.

00:29:57.620 Their actions are really something to behold.

00:30:01.220 And Yankee, I want to thank you on behalf of everybody here and our viewers.

00:30:05.060 You are doing incredible work going out night after night documenting this.

00:30:09.180 Because the mainstream media, they sat this one out, didn't they, my friend?

00:30:14.500 Yeah, I was actually surprised how nobody else was out.

00:30:20.580 And when I say nobody, it's nobody.

00:30:22.560 There was no other media outlet out there at night filming.

00:30:27.100 They were only reporting what the police report said.

00:30:30.360 I don't care what the police report says.

00:30:32.140 Every Monday, the Montreal police tweets how many COVID infractions there were,

00:30:38.900 how many tickets were given, and how many phone calls, snitch line, snitches they got.

00:30:44.700 And it's like, I could report on that.

00:30:46.440 That is not interesting.

00:30:47.780 I want to show you what's actually going on, the real stories.

00:30:51.120 Half of these tickets that were given were given to people that had the papers you were supposed to have.

00:30:57.520 And they were still, the people still got it because the cops decided not to take the curfew exemption notes,

00:31:06.560 not to accept them.

00:31:07.840 So a lot of these tickets, and that's why we're fighting these tickets, if I defy it, 0.85

00:31:12.080 because these tickets are outrageous and ridiculous.

00:31:14.920 Yeah, unbelievable. 0.96

00:31:16.040 Well, Yankee, you are often a one-man gang out there, and we thank you for it. 1.00

00:31:20.120 Have a good weekend, my friend, in Montreal, and don't get any more jaywalking tickets either, okay?

00:31:26.120 I will.

00:31:26.960 Yeah, thank you.

00:31:28.200 Have a great weekend.

00:31:29.140 Thanks for coming out, and thanks for the team for having my back in Toronto,

00:31:32.520 or even coming out some weekends to help me.

00:31:36.020 And yeah, I will try not to get any more jaywalking tickets.

00:31:39.020 I have three jaywalking tickets.

00:31:40.660 Three jaywalking tickets.

00:31:42.200 Thank you so much.

00:31:43.500 Thank you.

00:31:44.240 And that was Yankee Pollock in Montreal.

00:31:47.320 Keep it here, folks.

00:31:48.060 More of Rebel Roundup to come right after this.

00:31:55.980 Don't make up your little mask!

00:31:58.700 Hey, listen, we're just wondering, are you looking forward to the game today?

00:32:01.460 I am.

00:32:02.060 We're very excited to have people back.

00:32:03.700 Why can the professional hockey players play, but the kids in Canada can't play hockey?

00:32:08.680 I'm going to let our authorities answer that question.

00:32:10.920 Aren't you with the Bell Centre?

00:32:12.180 Sir, I see you guys are NHL officials.

00:32:15.960 Sir, can you tell me, it's great that there's some fans coming into the building, but why

00:32:20.540 is it that my kids, your kids, everybody else's kids, they can't play hockey, but millionaire

00:32:25.640 NHL players can?

00:32:27.040 It's a matter of status.

00:32:29.020 We live in a world that has to do with greed, right?

00:32:31.620 But why can't our kids play hockey right now at the same time?

00:32:35.240 I mean, the professionals have been playing all winter long in the regular season, right?

00:32:38.580 Because it adds to the economy.

00:32:40.380 Oh, okay, so it's about money then.

00:32:41.800 It's always about money.

00:32:43.380 So it's not about the science then?

00:32:44.860 No.

00:32:45.820 Oh, you got your helmets on.

00:32:48.120 Are you expecting some wayward pucks or...

00:32:50.960 No, we're here to get your attention.

00:32:53.060 Well, you got it.

00:32:54.480 We got your attention.

00:32:55.620 Wow, these are old school CCM.

00:32:58.960 And do you know how I know they're old school, folks?

00:33:01.400 Look at that.

00:33:02.480 Made in Canada.

00:33:03.740 When was the last time you saw some hockey equipment with that on?

00:33:07.620 Well, here's the thing, guys.

00:33:08.660 We've been told this virus has been dictated by the science, by medicine, but maybe when

00:33:15.120 it comes to the elites, when it comes to money, there's an exemption.

00:33:19.480 Millionaires can play hockey.

00:33:20.740 Millionaires can watch them play hockey, but hockey moms, hockey dads, they're shut out 1.00

00:33:25.140 of seeing their kids play hockey.

00:33:27.100 Yeah, it's tough for everybody.

00:33:29.240 We came down from Ontario, and guess what?

00:33:32.900 I just had a haircut today.

00:33:35.840 Hey, two minutes for looking so good, Richard.

00:33:39.000 David Menzies for Rebel News here in Montreal.

00:33:41.680 Well, folks, I'm standing outside the Bell Centre.

00:33:45.180 In two hours, Game 6 of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Montreal Canadiens series will resume.

00:33:51.880 And, well, what can I tell you?

00:33:53.460 Does it get any better than this?

00:33:55.340 Leafs, Canadiens on a Saturday night, a playoff game, no less.

00:34:00.140 But, really, who is going to this game?

00:34:04.200 I don't think it's your typical lunch bucket fan.

00:34:08.180 Have you seen the tickets that are for sale, folks?

00:34:11.860 The lowest tickets are 1,500.

00:34:15.180 The highest are 12,000.

00:34:18.160 Oh, and by the way, you have to buy them by the pair.

00:34:21.780 So, imagine that, $24,000 for a pair of the top tickets to see this game.

00:34:29.240 I think that's a price of a Honda Civic, if memory serves me.

00:34:33.440 But, really, in the next couple of hours, when the puck drops, are we going to see an example of hockey play out?

00:34:42.120 Or is it hypocrisy?

00:34:44.220 After all, who has that kind of money during a pandemic to spend on three hours of hockey?

00:34:53.200 I sure don't.

00:34:54.020 I don't think the vast majority of our audience does, either.

00:34:57.360 And, really, what happened, all of a sudden, to those COVID-19 protocols?

00:35:04.920 You know, socially distancing and keeping crowds down far lower than what you see right now.

00:35:13.920 And, what's going to be in the building, 2,500 fans, when the puck drops.

00:35:19.880 Even more disturbing is this, folks.

00:35:23.860 Why is it that, suddenly, the very same elitists and insiders who have been preaching to us for the last 14 months,

00:35:33.880 that we're all in this together, and to stay home, and to socially distance?

00:35:39.840 Why is it that millionaire NHL players can play hockey here tonight,

00:35:45.400 and, presumably, millionaires and multi-millionaires can somewhat fill the stands?

00:35:51.440 And yet, for more than a year now, your kids, my kids, all our kids, hundreds of thousands of kids,

00:35:59.040 have been shut out of playing amateur hockey.

00:36:02.640 Why is that?

00:36:03.360 Well, that was the scene last Saturday evening in Montreal, prior to the Leafs-Canadians playoff game.

00:36:09.260 Oh, spoiler alert, just in case you recently got out of a Justin Trudeau quarantine hotel,

00:36:15.800 the Leafs surprised nobody by losing last Saturday's game and, later, the entire series,

00:36:20.700 because, hey, that's how we've been rolling when it comes to hog-town hockey since 1967.

00:36:26.600 Anyway, it just seemed odd that, suddenly, all the COVID-19 rules regarding everything from the curfew to social distancing evaporated just in time for the puck to drop.

00:36:41.200 Gee, I wonder why.

00:36:43.500 In any event, you had plenty to say about this most recent example of Wuhan virus rules changing on the fly.

00:36:51.780 Jessica Butler writes,

00:36:53.540 I am a huge Habs fan, but until our children can play sports again, I'm not having anything to do with professional sports.

00:37:01.680 And anyone wearing sports apparel, you're part of the problem.

00:37:05.600 Well, you know, good for you, Jessica.

00:37:06.780 Jessica, I think that's called taking a principled stance.

00:37:10.480 It would be nice if the NHL and the health bureaucrats also had it in them to take a principled stance as well.

00:37:19.060 Worst Case Ontario writes,

00:37:20.840 So hockey games can be attended, but small businesses stay closed?

00:37:25.340 Makes sense to me.

00:37:26.780 Well, you know, I know you're being sarcastic, Worst Case Ontario,

00:37:29.440 But really, nothing, and I mean nothing, has made sense during this pandemic.

00:37:37.480 Rick Pierce writes, 0.58

00:37:38.580 I'd rather watch the Peewees play hockey than the useless NHL.

00:37:42.620 Hey, I'm with you, Rick, but clearly money talks and BS skates.

00:37:47.380 My heart breaks for the hundreds of thousands of kids who have been shut out of house league hockey across our nation.

00:37:54.060 Absolutely shameful and with no science to back up such a strategy either.

00:38:00.700 Jerry Price writes,

00:38:02.480 Boycott this until the kids can go out and play hockey.

00:38:05.720 It's all about money.

00:38:06.760 Oh, Jerry, when a pair of tickets goes for the price of a new car,

00:38:11.500 I'd rather listen to the game on radio.

00:38:14.080 I actually scratched that.

00:38:15.700 I think I've got much better things to do than to watch or listen to the Leafs lose yet again in June.

00:38:22.960 And locked in with Lovebirds writes,

00:38:26.640 Ontario science magically changed from last night to today.

00:38:31.000 Fans suddenly OK with the Leaf home game on Monday.

00:38:34.820 Now that's science.

00:38:36.520 Indeed, Lovebirds, funny how in the space of 21 hours,

00:38:40.940 Premier Triple F, that would be flip-flop Ford,

00:38:44.040 went from stating that no way would any fans be allowed into Toronto's Scotiabank Arena

00:38:50.060 to, well, OK, 550 fans.

00:38:53.680 And hey, where did that 550 number come from?

00:38:57.240 Oh, and the fans must be health care workers, 0.89

00:39:00.140 or as it turns out, health care bureaucrats in certain instances. 0.51

00:39:05.180 Oh, and they must also be fully vaccinated or else no dice.

00:39:10.260 That's right, folks, Monday was a historic event here in Toronto.

00:39:14.560 It was Hogtown's first vaccine passport event ever.

00:39:18.860 How are you digging the new normal so far?

00:39:21.720 Well, that wraps up another edition of Rebel Roundup.

00:39:24.320 Thanks so much for joining.

00:39:25.760 See you next week.

00:39:27.020 And hey, folks, never forget, without risk, there can be no glory.

00:39:31.160 Good night.

00:39:31.620 Good night.

00:39:52.540 Good night.

00:39:54.480 Good night.

00:39:58.940 Good night.
