Rebel News Podcast - DAILY Roundup ｜ Liberals try to ride out NaziGate, Carbon taxes 'save democracy', Peel's book ban

00:00:00.000 good afternoon ladies and gentlemen you have tuned into the daily roundup on this

00:00:20.160 a thursday september 28th 2023 i'm david menzies and my co-host well let me tell you a little bit

00:00:28.700 about my co-host folks do you know that today is provincial test your smoke alarm day and my co-host

00:00:36.760 she doesn't care for smoke detectors you see whenever she's around one she sets it off i'll 1.00

00:00:43.100 let you wonder why that is she is the she devil with a stick shift she is the calese of quebec 1.00

00:00:50.020 she is alexa lavoire how you doing there alexa i'm very good oh can you find all these national

00:00:58.080 day of everything so is there a national day for every single thing i think so you know that is my

00:01:07.200 curse alexa i am a vast reservoir of completely useless information right in other words if we

00:01:17.120 had the end of the world occur and we're stranded on some island or it's a zombie apocalypse

00:01:22.420 i think i'm the first sacrificial lamb i'm absolutely useless in terms of contributing

00:01:28.800 to the greater good but uh that is the case so how many smoke alarms did you set off today alexa

00:01:35.860 actually i have one but um i'm actually i think it's working because it started the other day so

00:01:43.060 i'm fine okay well it's so good to be reunited with you my friend it's been such a long time

00:01:50.020 and uh usually this is where we tell the folks uh those who are unfamiliar with the show what we're

00:01:55.540 uh trying to do here for the next hour trying yes not not necessarily succeeding

00:02:03.220 uh we will try hard okay yes that that is the idea

00:02:13.620 well what we are trying to do yes that's your cue

00:02:20.500 so okay so i will take the lead we are here for talking about uh different topic of actuality

00:02:30.340 we are giving our some opinion we are discussing about uh some of the news of the day we are

00:02:38.740 live streaming on youtube and odyssey getter and also rumble and i suggest to all of you because

00:02:47.220 this will be a nice show because when david menzi and me myself we are doing it together it's always

00:02:53.940 crazy so if you want to interact with us and send us a message question or anything please

00:03:00.580 send us a super chat because also that contribute to help us to continue our journalism because as you

00:03:06.980 know we are not taking any penny from justin trudeau no we prefer to invite nazi in the parliament to

00:03:14.980 give them a ovation instead of like contribute contributing to independent journalists us we are

00:03:21.620 block to the parliament but nazi can go and uh alexa our folks should know that if you give us a minimal

00:03:32.260 donation of five dollars we guarantee that we'll read your chat on air and react to it now speaking of

00:03:41.460 reactions um some i don't know uh three days later uh prime minister justin trudeau finally apologized

00:03:50.340 for what i call nazi gate it's funny how we're always adding the um suffix gate onto a scandal thanks

00:03:58.020 to watergate uh many moons ago but it is a scandal and alexa before we um you know throw to a video 0.99

00:04:06.980 where trudeau is deflecting pierre polyev's demand for a personal apology that's what it comes down to

00:04:14.340 and i see so many members of the mainstream media giving trudeau a pass finally he apologized but you

00:04:22.420 know for someone who always stands up for the spirit unicorn syndicate who are obsessed with pronouns

00:04:29.220 as you know it's never i apologize it's we it's the collective whether it's rose knight the reporter

00:04:38.100 that he groped um we have learned something from this whether it's him putting blackface on you know

00:04:44.820 we collect well wait a minute alexa i've never groped anyone i've never put blackface on what why is this

00:04:52.100 prime minister always apologizing for millions of good decent innocent canadians that have never done

00:05:01.140 anything and once again he did it again with um hunk up being invited into the house of

00:05:07.700 commons on friday uh it was on behalf of all parliamentarians and when you hear the apology

00:05:14.500 you can hear the opposition uh reacting with jeers and rightfully so because they had nothing to do

00:05:21.540 with this this is all on the blackface liberals especially anthony rhoda the now ex-speaker of the

00:05:29.700 house of commons how do you weigh in on this my friend but we know that here in quebec um some of

00:05:36.420 the people by especially the party quebecois have deposited a motion at the national assembly to

00:05:42.900 dissociate quebec to what happened to the at ottawa um we want to they want to dissociate the the province

00:05:52.420 from this big like mess that have that happened in in the in ottawa and and what is the most shameful on

00:06:01.460 everything it's every single people apologized before the prime minister the prime minister took

00:06:09.540 so long to apologize and and it didn't even like apologize for himself as as you say he apologized for

00:06:18.660 and include everybody but who is including us we didn't take the decision it's all on you and and even

00:06:26.100 like you met that person before everybody you didn't ask for the background you didn't ask for

00:06:32.580 anything for who he found or anything but and afterwards it should be on our shoulder citizen of

00:06:40.500 canada no right and and you know alexa the justin trudeau apologists out there of which there are still

00:06:48.100 some remarkably uh most of them in the left-wing media which uh in which justin trudeau is their

00:06:54.740 sugar daddy these days how that's not a conflict of interest i'll never understand but they're saying

00:07:01.140 them that this is not on trudeau this is not on the liberals this is all on mr rhoda the speaker of

00:07:09.780 the house he had the privilege to invite someone and i quite frankly don't believe that i'm not buying

00:07:17.140 this argument you had the house sitting with the prime minister there the leaders of the opposition

00:07:21.700 parties you had a visiting head of state who is unarguably the number one assassination target in

00:07:29.940 the world in the house of commons you're telling me everyone is not getting double triple and quadruple

00:07:37.780 checked in fact i've seen uh andrew sheer who used to be the house speaker uh years ago saying that by

00:07:45.300 protocol such guests have to be checked and vetted of course they do so if are they lying uh alexa

00:07:55.780 or did they fail to check out this guy's uh resume which in and of itself would be a scandal this time

00:08:04.340 one of incompetence they are capable to check all the background for every single journalist who tried

00:08:11.300 to attend to the national assembly or any kind of event of the liberals they check us if we are in the

00:08:18.740 good side of the narrative i would say and they block access to the people who did they say that it's not

00:08:27.460 appropriate with to have us around but they didn't like check the the background of a man who's

00:08:35.380 supposedly uh felt for the good but it was actually fighting for a really really bad like side of the

00:08:45.460 the history they didn't think that oh we should check that i don't believe that or it's a really huge

00:08:53.220 huge mistake or maybe they think that nobody will uh do the do some research and find like the back 0.94

00:08:59.700 the path of that man maybe they they think that canadian are food so we are just stupid we're not

00:09:06.340 checking the background you know you're absolutely right um alexa when and it's kind of funny i i've

00:09:12.340 watched and re-watched anthony rota's introduction of yaroslav hanka back on friday last friday that is

00:09:21.620 and there's this moment where he's talking about fighting the russians and there's a pregnant pause

00:09:31.300 because i think mr rota is doing the math and going uh wait a minute if you're fighting the russians

00:09:38.580 prior to may 8th 1945 you're fighting one of our allies you're you're the bad guy did you notice that i

00:09:46.500 mean it was just uh it was one of those i think i forgot to carry the one moment where yikes what

00:09:54.420 have i got on my hands so um you know that speaks to the lack of due diligence too but uh alexa why

00:10:01.940 don't we uh run the video of uh trudeau uh trying to deflect pierre polyev's um uh criticism of his

00:10:12.100 so-called apology and lo and behold uh christine anderson's name comes up again oh blackface what 1.00

00:10:20.660 a disgrace he is let's roll this tape the prime minister is responsible for state visits foreign

00:10:28.500 heads of states come here they expect that they will be protected not only against security threats

00:10:34.020 but against massive global scale embarrassments and shames like the one he allowed to unfold

00:10:41.860 before canadians so will the prime minister commit to personally calling president zielinski

00:10:49.780 and apologizing for his personal failure to vet those who were present and recognized on the

00:10:57.940 floor of the house of commons yes or no the right honorable prime minister mr speaker i will note that

00:11:05.780 to this day the leader of the official opposition has not apologized for having had three mps including

00:11:14.020 one of them who is still part of his leadership team sit down to dine with a far-right german politician

00:11:21.140 a number of months ago no recognition no apologies no consequences for those three mps who engaged with

00:11:30.500 a far-right german politician mr speaker if the leader of the opposition wants the government to help him

00:11:36.340 vet those his his uh mps meet with we'd be more than happy to give him some better advice

00:11:51.140 well this is crazy this is crazy because they they actually blamed them for meeting with christine

00:11:57.940 anderson when christine anderson was in canada she met with the survivor of holocaust she she

00:12:04.020 also walked with one of the veteran um jane james top and she she went there for speaking with some

00:12:14.260 canadian who were discriminated by the government she she never denied who she is she always present

00:12:22.020 herself as who she is she's from the the right wing of course her party represent that um so she never

00:12:29.380 hide anything she never tried to be someone else and she always be herself and she came here on the

00:12:37.620 purpose to to be there in support of the canadian who were put in the second class citizen and and they

00:12:46.020 keep blaming conservatives to met christine anderson there is no comparison of what happened in the

00:12:54.660 parliament with the ovation of the ss nazi you're right um alexa blackface is more concerned about a

00:13:04.820 fake nazi because christine anderson is not a nazi she's from germany and uh lo and behold in the 0.96

00:13:12.340 entire world the one nation that has the strongest laws against nazism is germany if you do the nazi salute 0.93

00:13:20.900 if you reproduce the swastika if you wear a world war ii german uniform you're going to go to jail in 0.91

00:13:28.420 germany that's the uh that's the state of affairs there so the idea of him still going after christine 0.95

00:13:37.780 anderson we're in whereas just less than a week ago we had a bonafide real nazi and a really nasty nazi

00:13:49.380 uh in the house of commons he was with the uh ss waffen division in which they were killing civilians

00:13:58.580 carrying out war crimes i mean this deflection is outrageous and i think this speaks to justin trudeau

00:14:06.980 being a narcissist being a sociopath that he can never take personal accountability it's always

00:14:16.340 yeah but look at you and that's another psychological condition he suffers for it's called projection

00:14:22.420 alexa it's like if you're a kleptomaniac you point to somebody and say why are you always

00:14:29.220 stealing stuff no what you're doing is you're talking about yourself um i think justin trudeau

00:14:35.780 could keep a psychiatrist in business for the next decade with all the uh mental baggage he brings to

00:14:42.340 the table and by the way i do believe i can't remember word for word what pierre pauliev said

00:14:48.820 i think it was a self-inflicted wound i'm going back to last uh february we had liberal bagman warren

00:14:56.020 kinsella go to his buddy the disgraced uh brian lily at the toronto sun to reach out to pauliev and denounce

00:15:04.180 uh christine anderson and he did say words to that effect um it i think it was a terrible like i said

00:15:12.180 self-inflicted wound he shouldn't have done it and you're you know bending the knee to mainstream

00:15:18.180 media you're bending the knee to warn kinsella are you kidding me here we have the um the tweet in

00:15:28.260 questions and christine anderson's views are vile and have no place in our politics the mps were not

00:15:34.820 aware of this visiting member of the european parliament's opinions and they regret meeting with

00:15:41.060 her frankly it would be better if anderson never visited canada in the first place she and her

00:15:46.660 racist hateful views are not welcome here so two things one is that sounds to me that pierre pauliev

00:15:55.620 has already done what trudeau was asking him to do yesterday and i'm sorry alexa pierre pauliev in my book

00:16:03.620 he's saying and doing all the right things but every once in a while um he does bend the knee to some

00:16:12.180 blowback from the people who hate him who will never vote for him he should never have said that

00:16:19.060 that is not the nature of christine anderson i believe you met her i met her at a at a function as

00:16:26.100 well and there is no vileness there quite frankly and do you remember that i i just bring back like

00:16:34.580 a really old like news that we heard in 2019 but remember that the father of justin trudeau pierre

00:16:42.020 trudeau did destroy some really important documents from the cold war i don't know if you remember that

00:16:49.940 but this was like really interesting and especially the old folder about pierre elliot trudeau was destroyed

00:16:59.140 you know i'm not surprised uh under pierre elliot trudeau i remember back in the 70s him uh having

00:17:05.460 the rcmp raid the toronto sun headquarters uh taking out files trying to see who a whistleblower was i can't

00:17:13.300 remember what the issue was i mean that that's right out of uh the soviet union and um right now

00:17:20.580 moving forward as soon as we get past the apology and the fake apologies we i think what we need right

00:17:27.940 now alexa is to open the files we know that hanka is not a one-off lone wolf uh nazi that somehow got into

00:17:38.420 uh canada we know perhaps hundreds maybe thousands got in i would say most of them are dead and wouldn't

00:17:46.180 be surprised uh given that it's now 2023 maybe there's only a dozen left but those files are sealed

00:17:54.980 and justin trudeau who promised way back in 2015 remember his uh victory election speech this is going

00:18:02.100 to be the most transparent government of all time why are we still sealing that information why

00:18:08.260 are we keeping canadians in the dark about who's who in the nazi zoo in our great dominion 0.86

00:18:16.420 and especially this should have done should have been done way before way before then now now it's

00:18:23.220 a bit too late like now most of them probably passed away so like what we would not go against

00:18:30.260 like tomb of uh of people like this is uh this is crazy the thing is just that just reflect that

00:18:38.260 way before the now we should have just checked the background of the people who come in canada and

00:18:43.940 it should be still the case now because right now there is still people who come in canada we are not

00:18:50.180 looking into their background we let enter some people and and unfortunately as i they mentioned at

00:18:57.220 the ruxham road the mexican cartel is is among us and they they are dealing with like illicit drugs and 0.99

00:19:04.820 and and black market of uh fire harm and and after that they they are banning like the illegal

00:19:12.580 guns of the people you you can see that the portrait of what canada is beginning is coming to be

00:19:19.780 oh 100 and alexa i mean in terms of nazis in canada and those who are sympathetic to them

00:19:26.660 uh this is not hearsay we're not exaggerating things our good friend at the toronto sun a couple of days

00:19:31.860 ago joe warmington he had a column that there is a monument at an oakville ukrainian cemetery and i

00:19:40.260 think there's a similar one in the edmonton area which is actually commemorating the very division

00:19:48.420 that yaroslav hanka was fighting in these are ss nazis and you know the perversity of us living in

00:19:56.420 canada right now um alexa we are tearing down statues of our first prime minister our nation's

00:20:05.140 founder john a mcdonald but that monument commemorating nazis ss nazis that uh goes unchallenged um

00:20:17.620 i it's like we're in the twilight zone alexa but i just don't understand why why nobody saw that

00:20:25.380 nobody noticed it nobody like do a big deal until now like why why we let that happen in the first

00:20:33.860 place yeah you know it's amazing because the left they love tearing down statues and they love calling

00:20:41.380 people nazis and by nazi in their vernacular alexa it's not someone on you know carrying out a holocaust

00:20:50.580 or hell-bent on world domination no a nazi is simply somebody that has a different opinion than 0.75

00:20:56.420 you and if you have a different opinion you don't debate they fall back to their phrase punch a nazi

00:21:02.980 so where oh where are the antifa types and their allies who like to tear down statues of democratically

00:21:13.540 elected prime ministers but a monument to nazi fascists which i thought that's what they're all against

00:21:23.380 that goes unchallenged uh can you possibly connect the dots for me alexa i'm losing the plot here

00:21:31.780 i'm sorry i cannot help you i'm that impossible like i'm i'm as lost as you on what is going on and

00:21:40.820 especially because we got some apologize but it seems that is not a proper sincere apologize

00:21:50.180 from from justin trudeau i'm talking about 100 and you know we should get to another video it's

00:21:55.540 conservative mp james bazan he's insisting uh prime minister justin trudeau accept full responsibility for

00:22:04.980 a nazi being honored in parliament in parliament i would suggest uh james bazan would have better

00:22:11.380 luck asking the tides not to come in at sundown that ain't gonna happen but let's see what mp bazan

00:22:19.460 has to say at the end of the day it is the prime minister who is responsible for visiting heads of

00:22:25.300 state president's lens he came here expecting a warm welcome and a successful successful visit but due to

00:22:32.260 the prime minister's haphazard management of this visit he instead turned it into a diplomatic

00:22:37.540 nightmare this is played straight into russia's disinformation campaign against ukraine the prime

00:22:43.540 minister must accept full responsibility will he publicly apologize to president zelensky today for

00:22:50.660 his failure the right honorable prime minister i just apologize on behalf of parliamentarians and

00:22:59.620 canadians we will continue to be there to stand with president zelensky and ukrainians but if members

00:23:08.180 of the opposition uh want the help of security agencies to vet their guests uh if they want for

00:23:15.140 example us to vet who three members of their team would have lunch with uh when they're meeting with

00:23:20.980 a far-right german politician we would be happy uh to give them advice on who they should meet with and

00:23:27.140 who they should not meet with mr speaker but respecting parliament and parliamentary privilege continues to be our

00:23:34.020 priority uh i would say jelensky is probably thinking give me a couple of more billion of dollars i will

00:23:46.260 apologize it's fine yeah i'll overlook it uh you know i'll overlook my disastrous fundraising i mean visit

00:23:53.380 to uh parliament hill uh if you give me uh a little do re mi but you know to mr bazan's point alexa

00:24:00.820 he said and he's right this plays into the hands of the russian disinformation campaign and what he

00:24:10.740 means by that as you know one of the reasons for the russian invasion into ukraine is to um it's a

00:24:19.620 campaign of de nazification that's what mr putin says he's got to rid that area of the world of nazis and

00:24:28.100 that's a real stretch let me tell you but the happiest person in the world due to this fiasco

00:24:35.780 is putin he just has to point to the canadian parliament and say look i told you you know we

00:24:43.460 have a problem there's nazis galore they're even in the house of commons in a western democratic uh

00:24:49.460 parliament um this has been you spoke about giving billions to zielinski this has been a

00:24:57.380 multi-billion dollar propaganda gift to putin he's still talking about this and if i were putin

00:25:05.460 i would say so too this is one of the biggest fiascos so far in the eight years of the blackface 1.00

00:25:12.980 liberals and considering all the other fiascos alexa that's saying something and uh and i will say like

00:25:23.140 i'm not a partisan of no either put in our like zielinski i don't think this is our war and i think

00:25:31.140 we should like just get far away from it and just maybe like try to get the peace out of what is going

00:25:38.740 out but it's not what we are doing we're just like putting more and more um fuel on the fire

00:25:45.460 i agree sadly i don't think ukraine can win this war you're going up against a superpower uh with

00:25:54.820 nuclear capability and i think the only way this ends is by that nation acquiescing to terms of

00:26:04.820 surrender as dictated by the russians uh but for all the money we're throwing at this uh again i look at

00:26:14.500 the gift putin received on friday with hanka being there and by the way alexa i want to get your

00:26:20.660 opinion on this because this is a real mystery to me evidently it was the hanka family and they live

00:26:27.540 in the north bay area of ontario they reached out to rhoda and they said hey listen um when the house

00:26:35.940 resumes this would be a great whiz-bang propaganda photo op uh having hanka senior the war veteran uh

00:26:44.420 come into the house and uh pose with various mps and and get a standing ovation i am trying to think

00:26:53.300 what in blue hell the family was thinking alexa we live in the day and age of the internet did they

00:27:00.100 not think somebody might do a little investigation and by the way and again i think for the third day

00:27:06.180 in the room giving a shout out to our boss as relevant he started doing the math on sunday he

00:27:13.380 started uh figuring out wait a minute if somebody in 19 and then prior to may 8 1945 is shooting at

00:27:23.140 the russians he's shooting at us the allied forces and i'm just wondering what that family

00:27:30.740 hope to achieve because it's nothing but a potential downside now i understand uh they're

00:27:38.020 in hiding in the north bay bunker if you will uh so they've made no comment on this but if you had

00:27:46.420 a super-sized skeleton in your family closet like yaroslav hanka would you want any attention 1.00

00:27:55.780 whatsoever on you alexa but i would say that it depends on what mr hanka this did say to his family

00:28:06.980 he probably like moved to canada and said i can reinvent his his own story and his own life

00:28:13.860 to make it like more shiny and more like beautiful than what it is and so at one point when you go and

00:28:22.500 you lie for most part of your life it's begin to be your reality and so some of the people can get

00:28:30.260 lost and just like thinking that yes i did great and what i did it was okay but the thing is if it's

00:28:38.260 always swimming in all this and just like saying to everybody that all great it was and all all it felt

00:28:46.900 for the good and so that people believe that and are pursued that it's the truth they probably just

00:28:55.380 think that it was the right thing to do but at the end of the day we don't know really if they were aware

00:29:01.860 of it or not or what uncle said to his family because when he moved here in canada probably he was pretty

00:29:09.300 young so probably like his whole life was coming afterwards when he he started probably it back in

00:29:16.260 canada and probably what he said was not the truth you know alexa that's a very good point but here is

00:29:21.860 my rebuttal even if that is true right at the end of the day it's hanka seniors call if he's going to go to

00:29:30.980 the house of commons yaroslav hanka knows damn well what he did in the second world war and if i'm him

00:29:40.420 uh i'm going uh thanks but no thanks family uh i'm a retired nancy living in obscurity in northern

00:29:48.660 ontario with a nice life and a nice lifestyle and you think i want to get out it i i'm defaulting to

00:29:56.500 uh sergeant schultz uh philosophy from hogan's heroes i know nothing i saw nothing right i am

00:30:04.340 not going to risk uh you know the glare of publicity if people find out who i am then again he is 98

00:30:14.260 maybe you know i'm not trying to be mean i'm just speculating here maybe there's an element of senility

00:30:20.980 here dementia what have you in which case he's convinced himself he was a war hero for the good

00:30:27.540 guys we'll never know but we'll take this back up uh after the break we gotta make an ad break now uh

00:30:35.220 alexa and uh more insanity to come after this stay with us dr james lindsey who is a frequent guest of

00:30:44.740 both joe rogan and jordan peterson and the host of the new discourse podcast is coming to alberta for the

00:30:50.180 first time and so the conclusion was that we now have to train men the way that we train dogs with

00:30:55.620 like leashes and shot collars and things in order to in order to get rape culture to go away medic 1.00

00:31:02.820 religion is actually the easiest way to kind of make sense honestly of the trans phenomenon as well well

00:31:09.700 the queer theory thinks that there are certain people who get to set the norms of society dr lindsey

00:31:14.420 will be speaking directly to the dangers of critical theory and its gender ideology that are pushing their

00:31:19.860 way into children's classrooms in queer theory you know calling somebody saying you're a man or a

00:31:23.860 woman is called a violence of categorization you just why don't you say it's this is systemic sexism 0.98

00:31:28.740 and distinguished from what most people think of as sexism she said no it is sexism it's the same thing

00:31:33.620 but they're clearly not the same thing you don't want to miss this tickets are selling fast you can

00:31:38.020 get yours today that is being run by take back alberta so you can get those tickets on their website

00:31:43.140 october 2nd and october 3rd are the dates and it's going to be an incredible event

00:31:49.860 hey ben shapiro here this november the wilberforce project is bringing me to canada if you want to

00:31:57.220 fight the woke machine destroying families join me in calgary for my talk hosted by the wilberforce

00:32:01.700 project go to benshapiro live.ca for info and tickets

00:32:05.620 well alexa as i fully predicted uh when this scandal broke uh that's the latest scandal um not chinese

00:32:21.300 electoral interference what am i talking about that was two scandals ago in between we had india fiasco

00:32:27.860 roman numeral two to contend with i'm losing track i really am but um part of blackface's strategy as

00:32:37.380 always is to change the channel and sure enough uh we have to talk about climate change uh or is it the

00:32:44.500 climate crisis or is it the climate emergency or is it the climate catastrophe um i think we're all

00:32:51.940 going to boil alive in the months ahead evidently uh alexa if you listen to the rhetoric so let's throw

00:32:58.820 to um a video of uh blackface once again lying about the promise that comes with uh climate change 0.87

00:33:07.220 initiatives i.e it's going to create as opposed to kill jobs in the economy you see the promise of

00:33:15.700 canada is that every generation should reach even higher than the one that came before that promise

00:33:24.340 is under threat everywhere around the world but we're securing that promise of canada by securing

00:33:29.940 great jobs in the clean economy of tomorrow what happened here today what we're announcing today

00:33:36.100 didn't happen by accident and it won't continue without effort it's deliberate work in partnership

00:33:42.740 with the government of quebec that demonstrates that building a strong economy for the future

00:33:47.860 and protecting the environment go together it may seem obvious to everyone in the room

00:33:54.580 but not everyone gets that today in the house of commons while we're making this historic announcement

00:34:00.980 conservative politicians are arguing that canada needs to do less to fight climate change

00:34:09.060 they want to take away money that is supporting canadian families in the fight against climate

00:34:13.700 change while being less ambitious on drawing in investments on building those careers of the future

00:34:21.220 every day while canadians are building the economy and the clean jobs of the future with announcements

00:34:26.740 investments and innovations like this federal conservatives put it all at risk and want to take us

00:34:32.100 backwards this is a real threat and we cannot make that happen now alexa since you are the calisi of quebec 0.94

00:34:41.380 i want you to uh run with this because the uh issue was building quebec's uh clean economy and i know

00:34:48.980 you have more insight into your own provinces uh clean schemes than i do but i just want to say this

00:34:55.780 when it comes to future generations why don't we talk about previous generations because

00:35:00.820 as i understand it alexa the source of the trudeau family fortune well they were running gas stations

00:35:08.660 in quebec weren't they that's how they built their wealth so suddenly oh that was okay for us but 0.92

00:35:14.740 now that blackface is uh you know has it made in the shade i'm going to make your life miserable with 1.00

00:35:21.060 carbon taxes i'm going to have legislation compelling you to buy a six-figure electric vehicle in the future

00:35:28.580 that you'll have to take out a third mortgage on yeah but please turn a blind eye to how it is that

00:35:34.980 team trudeau got so wealthy in the first place but i would say first of all like they announced that

00:35:42.020 the investment can go uh until seven billion of dollars while now we are in the life of the cost of

00:35:53.380 living crisis inflation crisis housing crisis and so many crisis that is happening right now but you

00:36:00.420 are spending seven billion of dollars for um a clean energy transition um i don't know what is really

00:36:09.860 thinking uh or i don't know but i think now canada need help more than ever because your clean energy

00:36:17.380 will not we're not not like serve to nobody everybody is in the street after like a moment hey so um

00:36:26.820 my my single point is uh they keep keeping people in fear and hysteria around um climate change

00:36:37.540 and that's it's happening since how many years i don't really like remember i remember i was like

00:36:43.140 in uh university and they were still saying and i remember they were saying like oh my god climate

00:36:51.140 change will not pass like the the year 2010 or 2005 and and it was always like a fear creating but now

00:37:01.220 it's more and more and more and this is untrue when they say that conservatives want to do less effort

00:37:08.900 actually they want to remove the hysteria around climate change they want to for canada to be rich with

00:37:16.980 our natural resources what actually francois legault have banned the extraction of natural resources in

00:37:25.060 quebec so right now what they are doing is not for good of canadian they are doing it because they want to

00:37:33.220 push a transition on people that refuse to do so because at one point i don't think it would be

00:37:41.620 on favor and of canadian you know and on that point alex i believe in uh the history of our planet we've

00:37:49.700 had what five mass extinctions i think the definition is where at least 60 percent of the species perish

00:37:56.900 and all of which uh occurred before there was a single suv on the road before there was a single

00:38:04.020 gas burning oven uh homo sapiens was never a factor i mean just imagine alexa i mean i still find it

00:38:10.820 incredible to this day whenever i visit alberta especially in the winter time millions of years ago

00:38:16.740 that was a tropical grassland if you can imagine there were dinosaurs roaming the prairies um and we had

00:38:24.500 nothing to do with that so the idea that the climate is changing i would argue twas ever thus but maybe

00:38:30.820 there are factors at play beyond any kind of man-made involvement but the radical left we're the ones to

00:38:40.420 blame and i reject that theory based on scientific history and um the the fact that they are always

00:38:50.100 talking about that and saying like this is a real big issue and they are keeping people in fear that

00:38:56.820 create like a group of kind of people from the radical left who are going against suv like in montreal

00:39:08.100 recently they are not only vandalize the suv they are deflating their their tire and giving fake infraction

00:39:18.500 tickets saying that your car is contributing to kill the life of animal human and vegetal so this is

00:39:30.740 going crazy when you think that they are going against the suv i'm sorry the suv is most uh mostly

00:39:38.020 like families who are using it for their children they need it you know that's a good point and let us

00:39:45.700 address uh you had a great tweet about this uh in which people in montreal were indeed given fake

00:39:51.300 infraction notices you know i don't mind that it's a phony baloney ticket what i do mind is having

00:39:58.500 tires deflated or slashed any kind of vandalism that's against the law how dare they to use the uh

00:40:05.220 language of greta tunberg uh do that to just a regular joe or jane going about his or her business 0.80

00:40:13.620 and um i mean there's that you know ridiculous infraction do you know there was a group about

00:40:19.140 15 or so years ago alex in toronto that were doing the same thing and i remember i went out on

00:40:26.180 their ticket blitz and uh one of the questions i had to them i mean they were ticketing minivans too and

00:40:33.060 you know i know the the minivan is kind of like a punchline for um the white flag of suburban surrender

00:40:41.620 but if you can put seven or eight people in a minivan isn't that um you know pro carbon emissions as

00:40:50.100 opposed to having four separate vehicles you can commute carpool with eight people in one vehicle

00:40:57.460 and i asked out of these people and it was kind of like you know they were having an epiphany um

00:41:03.140 and i can't remember what the answer was but they continued to ticket minivans too

00:41:08.340 so um did what is law enforcement going to do um and i know that's a really big stretch when i call

00:41:17.380 the montreal police law enforcement but uh you know i'm sorry you can get away with putting fake

00:41:25.940 tickets on somebody's windshield but vandalizing uh someone's property that is against the law and i don't

00:41:32.420 give a tinker's damn is if this is all about so-called saving the planet which it isn't but 0.70

00:41:39.220 these people can't be allowed to get away with this alexa and and by the way it's so funny because 0.96

00:41:45.620 the other day where i i live in montreal um i saw right there a man who i were using a bricks to deflate

00:41:56.900 the big van that was next to the in the in the street and i i went out with my friend and we were

00:42:03.140 like what are you doing like what are you doing and the guy well i don't know if it's a woman because 0.94

00:42:10.580 it was all in black start running really really fast but i went to see like the owner and say like

00:42:18.340 just by the way and he told me oh it's probably why like every time i'm i'm taking my car my my tire is

00:42:25.060 deflated unbelievable and you know it speaks to the bigger issue and we see this in the us

00:42:31.380 in blue states of course i believe there was a new story i mean i know it's not on the agenda but it

00:42:36.420 was about target closing several stores in california and new york and it was simply that um police don't

00:42:45.060 respond to shoplifting uh charges anymore uh you know mass groups come in and they literally just pick up

00:42:53.300 tvs bicycles you name it and walk out the store look at that closing nine stores if you can imagine

00:43:00.260 so a they cannot make money when people are literally robbing you blind and b the employees are at risk

00:43:07.700 this is a safety issue for their staff so i'm really i don't like this trend alexa whatever the crime is

00:43:16.340 when law enforcement turns a blind eye remember the way new york back in the 80s got back on track was

00:43:24.580 the broken windows uh philosophy where you know if you don't sweat the small stuff i.e vandalism graffiti

00:43:35.380 people not paying their subway fare that leads to big stuff and new york once upon a time cracked

00:43:42.740 down on all of that garbage it led to a revival of course it seems that we're now going back down

00:43:49.220 the drain with the current regime in new york city but uh like i said uh this is just a disaster for

00:43:58.580 society when you do not enforce the law because really what's the sense of having a law in the first

00:44:04.660 place alexa yeah but in the same time you know like in new york they have like many crisis that is

00:44:10.980 happening and especially with the immigration crisis they have also like a really big problem with

00:44:17.780 inflation and a cost of living crisis and so i'm not surprised to see that because when you have like

00:44:25.380 more poor people or more like lower um like lower i don't know how you call people gain like less money

00:44:35.300 in english but when you have like more of that of course you have people who struggle more and the

00:44:41.620 crime will rise but i would argue that poverty is not an excuse uh to commit crimes especially when we

00:44:50.180 have a very robust welfare state there are programs that can make sure you're not going to go out with go

00:44:57.460 without a meal but moving on on the green file one last thing i see um convicted criminal stephen gibault

00:45:06.020 uh he also took aim at poor pierre pauliev wow uh mr pauliev is getting it from all uh elements of the

00:45:14.900 liberal party um let's see what the criminal gibault has to say about uh pierre pauliev and carbon

00:45:24.900 let me be clear in the last federal election conservatives including mr pauliev campaigned

00:45:31.860 on a platform that included pollution pricing and a clean fuel standard very very similar to the one

00:45:38.580 our government enacted it wasn't much but it was at least an acknowledgement of the issue today they

00:45:46.100 say that they're adamantly opposed to both these climate measures mr pauliev claims he wants to address

00:45:52.260 the climate crisis through technology technology technology innovation yet he's against a simple

00:45:57.940 market-based and economy-wide incentive that is driving innovation pollution pricing he opposes

00:46:05.300 investments in electric vehicle plants he opposes ev purchase incentives he clearly doesn't believe in

00:46:11.860 evs are part of the solution he also wants us to cut back in public transit support and wants to

00:46:18.100 deregulate the oil and gas sector the political tactic that mr pauliev views the partisan hardball that

00:46:26.260 gives rise to the disregard of the environmental commons is also driving the disregard of all commons

00:46:33.540 public goods universal health care vaccination harm reduction our social safety net the casual disregard

00:46:42.820 of facts and science in pursuit of partisan advantage goes beyond the climate change issue

00:46:48.740 it becomes an issue for the health of our democracy of all democracies if we have to have

00:46:56.100 our own sets of facts how do we choose policy responsibly i wish there was an easy answer a magic bullet

00:47:04.740 that could stop climate change in its track instead we are stuck with the laws of physics and the reality

00:47:11.300 of a big sparsely populated and resource dependent nation our climate plan is working there's much

00:47:18.980 to do still but we are heading in the right direction at long last after much hard work we must continually

00:47:26.420 challenge ourselves to do more not less because no amount of misinformation can change what we have

00:47:32.740 accomplished the challenge now is to ensure progress doesn't slip away and smoke thank you merci 0.99

00:47:39.540 and mercy beaucoup uh mr jailbird uh you know what you said hypocrite you're uh stealing my thunder 0.95

00:47:48.020 alexa i have two points and let me hear what uh your response is the first piece of hypocrisy is uh 0.97

00:47:55.300 when he's saying that condemning pierre pauliev for not saying that evs are part of the climate crisis

00:48:01.540 solution uh first of all evs are enormously expensive and with many uh personal uh people who would like

00:48:11.860 to buy one they're not practical in terms of range in terms of charging availability etc uh the other

00:48:19.860 thing about the ev uh alexa is that if these things are so great why doesn't blackface embrace them 0.86

00:48:27.780 whenever he's on his motorcade it's about eight or nine vehicles almost all of them are supersized

00:48:33.780 suvs uh such as chevy suburbans and ford excursions and oh uh shockers folks they're not running on

00:48:42.340 dilithium crystals uh they've got eight cylinder engines burning fossil fuel and whenever blackface

00:48:50.020 gets to his destination guess what they let those vehicles idle because god forbid blackface gets into 1.00

00:48:57.460 uh one of his uh vehicles on a hot summer day and uh you know it's not exactly room temperature for

00:49:05.460 him so we have the air conditioning blasting in summer and the heat blasting in winter and as anyone who

00:49:12.900 knows uh motor cars uh idling emissions are the very worst so there's that the second thing is correct

00:49:20.660 me if i'm wrong alexa but with jailbird guibo uh wasn't this cat in china last month wasn't he waving

00:49:28.900 a finger at our poor environmental record and abs it would talk about audacity it's beyond hypocrisy

00:49:36.820 you know uh complimenting china on their environmental record this is a regime that's still building cool 0.78

00:49:43.620 plants uh on a monthly basis um you know they don't even hide the hypocrisy anymore alexa but do you

00:49:52.740 do how many people do you think are buying what the jailbird is trying to sell oh unfortunately i think

00:50:01.380 there is a lot of people who buy that this is uh this is uh the saddest power part but the thing is

00:50:08.100 same if canada will turn completely green that will not make a difference in the planet with china 0.94

00:50:14.740 that are producing the most important quantity of pollution and um the greenhouse gas we are a penny

00:50:27.540 in a billion of dollars you know and and the fact that also it's not the same person who warned the

00:50:36.580 people to not be fooled by the liberal once oh well as they say that was then and this is now and when

00:50:45.460 you're getting that nice six-figure salary and uh you can afford nice or mani suits as opposed to

00:50:52.020 well he was wearing the color orange for a a period of his lifetime uh that's kind of blotted out on his

00:50:59.380 resume gee where oh yeah that's right prison uh but in any event uh alexa uh we have to take another

00:51:07.540 ad break and on the other side let's pick up the trans sanity file that ain't going away either

00:51:17.140 canadians are grappling with news blackouts on social media due to the justin trudeau liberal

00:51:22.420 government's bill c18 this new piece of legislation demands that social media platforms pay the

00:51:29.460 government for news shared by users which is an inconceivable task for companies like meta and

00:51:36.180 google so as a result they have decided to preemptively block all canadian news content including ours at

00:53:40.820 now alexa as i promised before the break we're going to talk about the trans sanity file and during

00:53:50.020 the break super producer olivia came in and said a release is just being uh put out by ontario's

00:53:58.580 minister of education uh that would be uh stephen lecce aka claude rains aka the invisible man uh evidently

00:54:08.980 uh he's emerged from hibernation uh to issue some sort of a statement on uh gender ideology so i

00:54:17.460 haven't seen this clip i don't know what he's going to say let's watch it and uh we'll react uh after

00:54:22.980 the invisible one has finished another matter the premier said the other week that he feels school

00:54:28.420 boards are quote indoctrinating students as regards gender identity without defaulting to your talking

00:54:33.540 points because i know you want all students to feel safe but do you agree with the premier on that

00:54:38.180 as education minister i think ontario schools need to get back to basics this is a fundamental issue

00:54:43.300 in ontario parents have been abundantly clear they do not believe that is the overriding priority of

00:54:48.420 school boards so much so that i brought a bill before this house passed with bipartisan support

00:54:52.980 with the liberals who agree with the premise that back to basics is the future when it comes to

00:54:58.340 improving literacy math and fundamental skills so i believe school boards need to refocus on academic

00:55:04.340 achievement and for the first time in ontario history i now have binding powers as minister to

00:55:09.300 impose academic achievement as the priority on school boards so they get back to basics on reading

00:55:13.540 writing and math the only way we're going to see improvement in eqao and fundamental skills is if

00:55:18.260 kids are in school and if schools prioritize literacy and stem education and that's what we're doing

00:55:24.500 that's we're emphasizing and yes indeed of course i wouldn't submit that as a talking point i think it is a

00:55:30.020 an immoral imperative of government to protect every child and we believe in that we've been probably

00:55:35.220 been visible in support of all communities in our schools and we will harness the good of that

00:55:39.940 diversity but we will of course always make the case for parents to have a role to be aware and to

00:55:46.020 support their kids on their learning journey okay alexa so the first thing that got the needle on my

00:55:53.140 bullshite detector to go right into the red zone uh was this idea that finally i have the power oh 0.88

00:55:59.940 what a liar he's always had power do you know stephen lecce if he wanted to could have dissolved 0.98

00:56:07.300 the out of control school boards in ontario of which there are many uh some of the prime candidates 0.77

00:56:13.540 being the toronto district school board the halton district school board the durham district school

00:56:19.780 board these are schools that have literally pornography in elementary school libraries they are

00:56:29.540 putting forth indoctrination over education in the case of halton district at oakville truvalgar

00:56:35.620 high school we had that almost year-long fiasco that international black eye of busty lemieux 1.00

00:56:42.660 uh with his zed cups um going to shop class breaking every rule in the shop etiquette book

00:56:51.380 and this minister was paralyzed paralyzed i would imagine with the fear of well i don't want to seem

00:56:59.380 transphobic or anything so you know what i'll believe it when i see it and by the way uh on the

00:57:05.460 on the issue of busty lemieux um he is now bearded lemieux he's at a different school board he's at a

00:57:13.140 different school in hamilton and i you know i don't want to go off on a total tangent on lemieux

00:57:20.900 my goodness uh you know we've spent so much uh time on him but it would seem to me and i'm not a labor

00:57:27.620 lawyer alexa but he and his only on the record interview which was last february with the new

00:57:33.700 york post he said i can't not go to class with uh my breasts because they're not props they're not

00:57:42.420 prosthetics these are real mammary glands i started developing at 38 i have a very rare medical condition

00:57:50.020 you see yeah one in eight billion um and suddenly he's now dropped the zed cup boobs um which by the

00:57:58.900 way exactly resemble the zed cup boobs i bought from ebay and by the way folks if anyone wants to buy them

00:58:05.140 i'll give you a good deal uh but anyway uh there he is uh he's once again identifying as the language goes

00:58:13.140 as a male the point i'm getting to alexa he essentially lied to his employer about a

00:58:19.620 disability isn't that grounds for termination with cause and then i want to hear what you have to

00:58:24.980 say about lachi's announcement um it will say that he got a double mastectomy

00:58:35.300 well there's that too i never thought about that but i wouldn't bet the ranch on it

00:58:43.220 no but it can be the case that is a kind of answer that you can say like

00:58:47.940 he did a reduction or completely that like the removal of it and now he he just like decided to

00:58:55.140 to get rid of his condition i don't know but i was actually thinking the same i was like but

00:59:03.300 did he mention that he had like a condition that actually make his boobs grow insanely yes i was just

00:59:12.020 like um something that doesn't make sense because usually when you have like to make a surgery for

00:59:18.260 a double mastectomy takes a while but it takes like you can't have it but it takes a while so

00:59:24.020 it's pretty quick carry over the summer it's just like oh i know and he did i can't remember the name

00:59:31.540 of the condition um he did mention it there are about approximately 300 people that suffer from this

00:59:40.100 medical condition oh but lo and behold alexa lava guess what they are all biological females according 1.00

00:59:49.220 to the cleveland clinic he's the only dude on the planet suffering from this enormous breast growth but

00:59:56.900 but i see that yeah so you might be buying the fact that these were real and he got an operation is

01:00:03.540 that what you're telling us well i think i think like uh he will tell you probably something like

01:00:10.900 crazy he probably will do a lot of research and now we have like a really rare disease that it actually

01:00:17.140 fall they fall yeah probably why well and and as for lecce saying oh i'm i finally have the power you

01:00:26.420 always had the power uh i would say um alexa as the minister the school boards are a creation of the

01:00:34.900 province he can disband them he can replace the the trustee and staff a lickety split he always had

01:00:41.300 that power so what is he talking about this is a guy that couldn't remove or couldn't use his influence

01:00:48.100 to have obscene materials removed from schools couldn't even enact a dress code you know i mean again

01:00:56.180 going back to lemieux it was so perverse the students at oakville trafalgar are under a dress code in

01:01:04.660 other words on a hot day if a girl came to school with like a spaghetti strap top uh she'd receive a 1.00

01:01:12.660 detention or a suspension that's inappropriate but the faculty uh aren't beholden to a dress code how

01:01:19.940 does that even make sense so is lecce uh if he does have new powers uh alexa is he actually gonna you

01:01:27.620 know use them i don't think so because if you do so you will be cancelled you will be cancelled by

01:01:36.180 everybody you would be called like a transphobic or a homophobic person just because you try to interfere

01:01:43.700 and some regulation but like in quebec now um some of the politicians have raised some concern

01:01:53.380 about uh you know the mixed bathroom and everything and they say that maybe we should have like a

01:01:58.180 parliamentary commission to talk about it and maybe discuss of it it's appropriate and good for

01:02:05.540 the children and also like after the big one uh million march for children um our premier went out

01:02:15.140 to say that it's unacceptable though what happened during that march but also what i do like and i

01:02:21.780 would not say that pretty often and uh that i like something that my premier say because i think it's

01:02:27.380 one of the worst um but he mentioned that it's not okay to call confident parents that are raising

01:02:37.140 question about what is going on with the school system to call them transphobic and homophobic and

01:02:44.100 on intolerant and i think that is something that should have been raised and it did because really a few

01:02:52.180 people talk about the fact that those parents who are raising concern are being treated really badly

01:02:59.460 by their opponent and you know on the subject of transphobia this was the original story i wanted to

01:03:05.780 talk to you about alexa more propaganda from the disgraceful toronto star uh the headline reads i'm afraid

01:03:13.620 at times teachers speak out on how anti 2s lgbtq plus xyz protests have shaken their classrooms you know

01:03:26.500 what a bunch of malarkey and i'll tell you why last friday i was at a demonstration outside of a toronto

01:03:34.340 school it was uh an anti-soji demonstration you had billboard chris there josh alexander

01:03:43.540 uh maxime bernier the leader of the people's party of canada all the people there were decent you

01:03:50.580 could talk to them they were articulate there was the due rigueur counter-protest of the spirit unicorn

01:03:57.540 syndicate members and their pals the antifa thugs and they were wearing trouble on their shirt and i

01:04:04.740 want to say something alexa i think we here at rebel most of us we tend to back the blue we're pro-police

01:04:13.700 but the toronto police service had a terrible terrible day that friday because while the peaceful

01:04:20.980 demonstrators uh were saying their thing uh the antifa and the spirit unicorns were engaged in acts

01:04:30.340 of violence and the police were arresting the victims i saw the in the fellow with the red beret his

01:04:39.300 name was bill he's 80 years old he's a military veteran he got arrested just for standing there

01:04:46.820 and then josh alexander's brother nick was cut open on top of his eye he was bleeding profusely

01:04:56.820 and then the police handcuffed and arrested nick and again it speaks to what we talked about earlier when

01:05:04.260 when you're turning a blind eye to crime based on ideology uh there goes society down the drain alexa

01:05:13.940 that was a disgraceful event because the police and i don't believe it was organic i think you know it

01:05:21.300 was one of the questions i gave mr bernier a are there political puppet masters uh driving this are

01:05:28.500 they saying go after the peaceful parents the good demonstrators and turn the blind eye to the violent

01:05:36.260 counter protesters and i'm bringing it back to this toronto star article when they when she says um

01:05:43.380 that the two s lgbtq plus protests have shaken the classrooms no that's not the case these demonstrators

01:05:53.460 are peaceful it's the counter protesters members of the rainbow mafia they're the violent ones so again 0.98

01:06:01.300 this is more 1984 you know love is hate war is peace being served up courtesy of our tax dollars by

01:06:09.460 the mainstream media alexa but in the same time i have two things to mention that police will not go

01:06:17.380 against the antifa and the far radical left that way where they're into protest first of all because

01:06:25.220 they are really violent second because they don't listen whatever you say they will not listen to you

01:06:31.780 and they will go against you and they will go against the police they will not care okay these people

01:06:36.980 they do their own law okay and so they probably have the rule or the warning to not touch and not provoke

01:06:47.300 them since they are uncontrollable and they are also like you cannot know what they would do and

01:06:54.420 and and it's probably why they say like don't touch them because they probably a little bit crazy and

01:07:02.020 i i know because in every single process those people are not being challenged by the police they are not

01:07:08.580 being like arrested by the police and especially because you cannot identify them they are fully masked

01:07:15.860 and they make sure that nobody can see their face with umbrella with other like tactic to hide themselves

01:07:22.900 and they all go against camera they all go to try to hide their identity so it's really hard for the

01:07:30.740 police at that time to identify a bunch of people who look the same who all wear like bandana black

01:07:37.460 bandana and all black coats so if they see someone doing a crime good luck to identify the which one is the

01:07:46.020 one who did the crime on the whole bunch of people wear the same clothes in the same like hiding face

01:07:53.220 so it's probably why no and alexa you know that better than anyone you've done such brave reporting

01:08:01.460 going up against these thugs in quebec who harass you and even physically assault you and it boils my blood

01:08:08.980 i you know i kind of i shrug it off when it happens to people when i see it happen to my colleagues

01:08:14.340 especially female colleagues yeah that's right folks i still believe in chivalry i know i'm an

01:08:19.940 old-fashioned square that way it really drives me insane but you are right it's so odd isn't it alexa

01:08:27.060 they're still wearing their face diapers even though covet is in the rearview mirror and

01:08:33.540 uh again on friday in toronto it was 26 degrees zero percent chance of participation but no precipitation

01:08:44.420 sorry and the people showing up to the protests uh many of them had umbrellas gee why would that be

01:08:51.620 well we know uh they put up the umbrellas to obscure uh video evidence of their crimes taking place

01:09:00.660 because the crime will happen behind the umbrella and the umbrella itself can be weaponized and by

01:09:06.580 the way as i i'm speaking look at that an 80 year old military veteran who was just standing there i

01:09:13.380 witnessed it from beginning to end he wasn't even raising his voice alexa hauled away like trash in that

01:09:21.620 uh paddy wagon absolutely shameful and uh like i said we like to back the police but we call them as i see

01:09:29.620 him and that was an absolute shameful incident i don't know if we have a shot that olivia can get

01:09:35.860 to where it shows uh nick alexander uh bleeding profusely and uh again with the uh cops nothing to

01:09:45.060 see here you think they would have at least have called an ambulance for him take him away in that

01:09:50.180 for some medical treatment as opposed to arresting him but hey what do i know i'm not a law enforcement

01:09:56.740 expert you know what alexa okay i mentioned that i'm i'm really against what they are the the the

01:10:03.700 police did like to arrest some of the people who clearly it was not them who provoke or did anything

01:10:10.500 and but if i put myself in the perspective it's what they have been told to do most of the police is to

01:10:18.420 diminish the risk and the risk is probably because they see that the side of the protester against

01:10:29.540 the end the counter-protester is the one that would provoke most of the time these crazy crazy far left

01:10:37.140 people so and they know that we are like those people the protesters are more diligent to respond and

01:10:46.580 to to bend the knee for the law and to to actually like be peaceful and say okay i'm i'm stopping

01:10:56.100 because we they these people have the reason they reason well and they will say okay i understand but

01:11:03.380 don't the other people will not will not do it so for them it's like where we can diminish the risk

01:11:11.220 okay this side so we go there so it's all they think it's all they do and it's all they they do

01:11:17.380 that their their technique and and and and it works you can see like while you remove the people

01:11:25.060 to that can provoke them it diminish like the the tension you're absolutely right alexa uh and translation

01:11:35.860 when it comes to risk reduction it basically is is the police and the authority saying might makes right

01:11:43.940 and we will bend the knee to the bullies because well it's um you know it it's too dirty otherwise to

01:11:51.220 enforce the rule of law so um but at this at the same token alexa this is not justice this is not how 0.98

01:12:00.420 life in a democracy should be and it's shameful and and i'll tell you um what as much as i agree with

01:12:08.260 you i can tell you last friday the peaceful demonstration was bigger than the counter protest

01:12:16.660 so it wasn't even a matter of um you know bending the need to those with greater numbers it was

01:12:23.780 completely ideologically driven and i think there's something behind the scenes that well they're telling

01:12:31.300 the cops uh turn a blind eye to the counter protesters acting like thugs and make sure you fill your quota

01:12:41.060 with arrests of the demonstrators who aren't breaking any law unless it's a law just to stand on a public

01:12:46.980 sidewalk unless it's a law to um you know bleed on a sidewalk like nick alexander was doing maybe those

01:12:54.500 obscure laws exist i haven't heard of them but that's what i witnessed and it was it was absolutely

01:13:00.740 shameful you know alex i can see we're about quarter past the hour it's uh time's gone so fast do we have

01:13:06.340 any super chats by any chance i think we do don't we oh is that gorgie gorgie

01:13:18.580 hello gorgie gorgie hey hey guys nice to be on it's been a while looks like liberals love nazi and

01:13:28.820 you and un ambassador bob ray heaven was bending over backwards for trudeau by the way david you look

01:13:39.860 great what do you do you know what i think i'm losing some weight which is one of two things i'm

01:13:48.180 getting in shape or i'm dying anyway but thank you for the comment no i don't want to give my enemies

01:14:01.940 the satisfaction alexa i'm gonna hang on as long as i can yeah exactly until

01:14:08.100 do we have any more my friend no that's it okay well alexa it was an absolute delight thank you so

01:14:22.660 much for hopping into co-host with me today thank you to super producer olivia thank you to all those

01:14:28.820 who tuned in especially georgie georgie for giving us that donation much appreciated we will be back i

01:14:35.140 think it's the alberta team is on the live stream tomorrow because that's a friday and in the meantime

01:14:41.860 folks as always stay safe and stay sane i would table the motion that the standing committee on

01:14:51.220 canadian heritage reaffirm its commitment to freedom of speech and denounce the decision by the peel

01:14:56.660 region school board libraries to remove thousands of books published before the year 2008 and deemed by

01:15:03.140 the school board to be culturally irrelevant and call for all removed books to be immediately returned

01:15:08.820 to school libraries the reason i am tabling this motion is because there have been many students

01:15:15.540 many parents and many community members as well as teachers who have spoken out with great concern

01:15:22.660 regarding this the thing that is of concern is not that books are being

01:15:29.220 um some are taken off the shelf and and that there's this replenishment process that that is

01:15:36.740 normal in this case though what the school board has described as its criteria is of great concern

01:15:45.540 because one of its criteria is whether or not these books are quote culturally relevant or whether or not

01:15:51.860 there is quote misinformation or quote misleading information in these books and so it poses great questions with

01:15:58.340 regards to freedom of speech freedom of expression who gets to be the czar of truth who gets to determine

01:16:05.300 what is culturally relevant um it's it's rather rich actually for the school division to think that they

01:16:12.900 can make that uh trumpian decision and so they're interestingly enough there was actually a japanese student who

01:16:21.460 was willing to be interviewed by the media concerning this and she raised some really good concerns

01:16:27.220 uh as a japanese student she was curious as to whether or not books having to do with internment

01:16:32.420 camps of the japanese would still be preserved or if those would be removed from the shelf she wasn't

01:16:37.140 able to find any so for her that's culturally relevant but maybe to the caucasian man who decided to take

01:16:44.340 those books off the shelf maybe it wasn't relevant so who gets to be the czar of what's relevant and what's

01:16:49.780 not who gets to determine what is true and and what is not and so there is great purpose in protecting

01:16:58.660 freedom of speech and allowing divergent viewpoints to be expressed and the way we do that is by allowing

01:17:05.380 a multitude of books to remain on the shelf and allow robust debate and that's to say that yes there

01:17:11.220 will be conflicting ideas expressed but that's what allows society to progress that's what allows for one

01:17:17.140 idea to rise against another and for new innovation to transpire and so i would ask this committee to

01:17:23.860 consider this this motion that i am tabling today and that we would stand together united in our advocacy

01:17:30.980 for freedom of speech
