Rebel News Podcast - DAVID MENZIES ｜ Another day, another scandal in Ottawa and still no real apology from Trudeau

00:00:00.000 Tonight, ho-hum, another day, another scandal in Ottawa, and still no real apology from

00:00:23.200 Justin Trudeau regarding Nazi-gate. It's Thursday, September 28th, 2023. I'm David Menzies and this

00:00:32.980 is the Ezra LeVent Show.

00:00:37.960 Shame on you, you censorious bug. 0.99

00:00:41.320 Ho-hum, another week, another scandal in Ottawa, or is it scandals plural given that the pathetic 0.99

00:00:56.780 reaction to the federal liberals regarding Nazi-gate is also downright scandalous? Good 0.85

00:01:04.540 golly, it seems like it was only yesterday that the scandal du jour was Chinese electoral

00:01:11.120 interference. Oh, wait a minute, what am I saying? That was two scandals ago, given that India 1.00

00:01:17.420 fiasco Roman numeral two was consuming copious quantities of oxygen. But the India idiocy has 1.00

00:01:25.880 been pushed to the scandal backburner, and wow, that backburner is surely groaning with the weight 0.99

00:01:33.380 of so many previous scandals, wouldn't you say? In fact, it's actually hard to keep count of them

00:01:40.060 all, isn't it? Yet, say what you will about Justin Trudeau, this guy has more lives than a cat. Not only

00:01:47.820 does he like to cover his body with blackface makeup, but apparently he also has a layer of Teflon

00:01:55.060 on his epidermis, given that nothing seems to stick to this guy. Then again, if the mainstream media did

00:02:05.300 his job and held this guy to account, maybe things would be, you know, a wee bit different in the

00:02:11.060 accountability department. Did I mention that the mainstream media is actually funded by sugar daddy

00:02:17.340 Trudeau these days? But that glaring conflict of interest, well, that's a story for another day.

00:02:23.620 Incidentally, for those keeping track of the latest liberal scandal, and yes, folks, this is indeed a

00:02:30.960 herculean task, given the frequency of those aforementioned scandals. The most recent one

00:02:38.100 occurred last Friday in the House of Commons when History 101 challenged MPs served up a standing

00:02:45.260 ovation in Parliament for one Yaroslav Honka. Here, check out the video evidence.

00:02:51.280 We have here in the chamber today Ukrainian Canadians, Ukrainian Canadian world veteran

00:02:56.780 from the Second World War, who fought the Ukrainian independence against the Russians,

00:03:02.540 and continues to support the troops today, even at his age of 98.

00:03:08.820 His name is Yaroslav Honka. And I was going to say he's in the gallery, but I think you beat me to that.

00:03:32.280 But I'm very proud to say that he is from North Bay, and from my writing of Nipissing to Miskaming.

00:03:45.340 He's a Ukrainian hero, a Canadian hero, and we thank him for all his service.

00:03:51.420 Oopsie! Sorry, folks. Wrong clip. Here, check it out.

00:03:54.700 Springtime for Hitler and Germany 0.99

00:04:00.200 Honka is a World War II veteran. Normally, that would be a jolly good thing, indeed, you know, 1.00

00:04:08.980 to honour a vet with passionate ovations. Except for one teeny tiny inconvenient detail,

00:04:17.640 Honka fought for the enemy during World War II. Yikes! As just about the entire world knows by now,

00:04:24.980 Honka is a former Nazi soldier, a veteran of the brutal Waffen-SS 1st Galatian Division.

00:04:33.300 These were very nasty Nazis, indeed, killing civilians and committing war crimes. The fact that Honka 0.98

00:04:41.540 somehow legally immigrated to Canada is appalling enough, but for this creep to receive a standing 0.98

00:04:48.720 O in the House of Commons, well, that's truly beyond the pale. In the aftermath, the Liberals have been in

00:04:55.720 damage control mode, again, for the past week. The first tangible casualty was Speaker of the House,

00:05:03.820 Anthony Rota. Rota invited Honka to Parliament, and Rota boasted how this proud Canadian lives in

00:05:12.340 Rota's Northern Ontario riding. By the way, the origin of this invite is one of the many unanswered

00:05:20.740 mysteries pertaining to Nazi-gate. Apparently, it was the Honka family that reached out to Mr. Rota,

00:05:28.740 suggesting that it would make for a whiz-bang photo op to have Honka Sr. lauded in the House of Commons

00:05:35.780 when Zelensky dropped by for a fundraiser, or, I mean, a visit. So, the question arises,

00:05:42.960 what in blue hell was the Honka family thinking? I mean, just six days ago, this retired SS Nazi 0.95

00:05:51.280 was living a nice, quiet life up in North Bay, watching the fall colours take lease. Given that

00:05:58.300 this individual would have been a prime candidate for the hangman's noose once upon a time, you'd think

00:06:04.020 her Honka would keep a low profile, that he would stay out of the public limelight, and keep his 0.89

00:06:11.280 Nazi mouth shut. You know, embrace the Sergeant Schultz communications policy. 0.75

00:06:18.260 Oh, I see nothing. I was not here. I did not even get up this morning.

00:06:26.560 Did the Honka family not consider that in this day and age of the internet, people might do a little

00:06:32.040 investigating on the Googler machine, and dredge up some really embarrassing details on Sergeant

00:06:39.300 Honka, or whatever his rank was. Not that the mainstream media could be bothered to do so last

00:06:45.800 week, mind you. It was my beloved big boss man, Ezra Levent, that got the Nazi gate ball rolling last 0.93

00:06:52.620 weekend by simply doing some basic mathematics. Which is to say, if someone is fighting against the

00:06:59.560 Russians prior to May 8th, 1945, that means you were on the wrong side of history. Indeed, 1.00

00:07:07.400 check out this clip of Rhoda introducing Honka last Friday. Watch for a pregnant pause. Was it suddenly

00:07:14.920 just dawning on Rhoda himself that, uh-oh, the chronology, it's not adding up here?

00:07:21.820 We have here in the chamber today Ukrainian-Canadians, Ukrainian-Canadian world veteran from the Second

00:07:28.820 World War who fought the Ukrainian independence against the Russians. Did you see that? It was

00:07:36.220 as if the speaker had an epiphany in mid-sentence that Honka was fighting against an allied nation in World

00:07:46.060 War II? It's as though Rhoda was having a, oops, I forgot to carry the one moment when it dawned on

00:07:53.420 him that it was not a good thing to be killing Russians when Honka was killing them because 0.89

00:07:59.020 the Soviet Union was at war with Nazi Germany as well. Unbelievable. Alas, the entire Honka family is 1.00

00:08:08.140 apparently hiding out in their North Bay bunker right now. Geez, as they batten down the hatches,

00:08:15.340 maybe they can read the diary of Anne Frank regarding tips on how to avoid unwanted attention.

00:08:22.540 Yet having Honka in the House of Commons and lauding him was egregious enough. But the sordid

00:08:28.620 way this scandal was addressed by the black-faced liberals when it came to crisis management and 0.86

00:08:34.540 damage control also emerged as a scandal onto itself. You see, I'm old enough to remember when

00:08:40.780 an elected official would automatically apologize and resign if there was even a mere whiff of a

00:08:47.740 scandal. And I remember a time when simply billing the taxpayer for a $16 glass of orange juice

00:08:55.180 was reason enough to walk the political plank. But it was painful to see Rhoda cling on to his position 0.99

00:09:04.220 even when his fellow liberals were getting their knives out, Julius Caesar assassination style.

00:09:11.580 Yet it took until Tuesday afternoon before Mr. Roda submitted his resignation.

00:09:19.420 Sorry, Tony, I'm sure you're a nice guy and a good family man and all that jazz. But a sacrificial lamb

00:09:26.060 was desperately needed. And you don't think blackface was going to volunteer himself to be thrown into 0.98

00:09:33.020 the volcano virgin style, do you? Speaking of blackface, as with all political scandals, 0.66

00:09:40.380 it all boils down to who knew what when. And the idea that Yaroslav Honka was not vetted prior to

00:09:50.060 Friday's visit to the House is absolutely preposterous. Let's take inventory of the facts.

00:09:57.420 The House of Commons was in session. The Prime Minister and the leaders of the opposition parties

00:10:02.620 were also in the House. A visiting head of state who just happens to be the world's number one

00:10:08.060 assassination target, he was in the House. Are you telling me that everyone in attendance that day

00:10:15.180 was not double checked, triple checked, and quadruple checked? I find that hard to believe.

00:10:20.220 And if that due diligence was not conducted, folks, if the Prime Minister's henchmen simply

00:10:27.420 couldn't be bothered to carry out this task, well, that also qualifies as an outrageous and egregious

00:10:34.220 scandal. And much like the India fiasco, this story makes for yet another international black eye for

00:10:42.860 Canada. You can almost feel our credibility as a nation simply ebbing away by the hour.

00:10:51.580 Oh, but it gets worse. Liberal MP Karina Gould, who had taken part in a photo op with Honka last Friday, 0.97

00:10:59.980 she thought the best solution to this scandal was to pretend that

00:11:04.460 it never happened in the first place. No, I swear.

00:11:07.580 I would like to ask for unanimous consent to adopt the following motion,

00:11:12.140 that notwithstanding any standing order, special order, or usual practice of the House,

00:11:17.260 the recognition made by the Speaker of the House of an individual present in the galleries

00:11:21.660 during the joint address to Parliament by His Excellency Vladimir Zelensky be struck from the appendix of the

00:11:27.740 House of Commons debates of Thursday, September 21st, 2023, and from any House multimedia recording.

00:11:35.020 Ghoulish Gould wanted to visit a Honka stricken from the record, you know, like that season of 1.00

00:11:40.380 Dallas in which Bobby Ewing died. And then it turned out that the entire season was only a dream,

00:11:47.260 because beloved Bobby Ewing was always alive and well in the first place.

00:11:54.300 It's over. None of that happened.

00:11:57.500 Yeah, so much like season nine of Dallas, let's all just pretend that what happened last Friday

00:12:04.460 didn't happen, that it was all a dream. This business of a Nazi being lauded in the House of 0.83

00:12:11.260 Commons because the blackface liberals, well, they would never allow such a heinous thing to happen like 1.00

00:12:17.580 that. Capisce? Sorry, Gould, this Nazi nightmare is not going to be erased from Hansard as if it were 0.91

00:12:26.220 some sort of pornographic etch-a-sketch drawing. Yet the reaction by the Prime Minister to this scandal

00:12:33.660 has also been gross. On Monday, Blackface took a personal day off as the scandal continued to boil.

00:12:41.580 Hey, maybe the surf was up in Tofino and Blackface wanted to prepare himself for the upcoming Truth 1.00

00:12:48.300 and Reconciliation holiday. Then on Tuesday, Blackface buggered off to Hogtown to address the 0.93

00:12:55.820 assembly of auto parts manufacturers meeting at the Toronto Congress Centre. Once there, Blackface took 0.99

00:13:03.340 the opportunity to drone on about diversity. He just can't help himself, this guy.

00:13:10.620 The clamour continued for Blackface to apologise and yesterday he offered one of his due rigueur, 1.00

00:13:19.660 phony baloney, half-baked apologies. He said, quote, on behalf of all of us in the House,

00:13:27.020 I would like to present unreserved apologies for what took place on Friday and to President Zelensky

00:13:34.300 and the Ukrainian delegation for the position they were put in, end quote. Justifiably, his apology

00:13:41.980 on behalf of all of us was jeered by members of the opposition. After all, they had nothing to

00:13:48.940 apologise for, given that they had absolutely nothing to do with this fiasco in the first place.

00:13:54.940 But that's the thing with Justin, isn't it? When he apologises for things like, you know,

00:14:01.180 groping a female reporter or donning blackface, it's always a learning moment for all of us, right? 0.79

00:14:09.180 It's so odd for someone who never misses an opportunity to go to bat for the pronoun-obsessed 0.96

00:14:16.300 members of the Spirit Unicorn Syndicate. Trudeau so often embraces the we pronoun as opposed to the

00:14:25.820 I pronoun. His odious behaviour is a lesson for all of us, you see, not him. But wait a minute,

00:14:34.620 millions of Canadians are not getting handsy with female reporters. Millions of Canadians are not

00:14:40.620 habitually donning blackface. Why do the rest of us have to shoulder the blame as well? Well, 0.72

00:14:47.900 it's because when you are a narcissist like Justin Trudeau, one subscribes to that classic Elton John

00:14:55.660 song when it comes to making an apology. Speaking of celebrities, do you know that funny man Rob Schneider

00:15:07.020 said he's cancelled an upcoming visit to Canada due to Nazi-gate? Wow, when Deuce Bigelow, male gigolo,

00:15:15.500 is giving the cold shoulder treatment to our once great dominion, you really know blackface has really 1.00

00:15:21.980 crossed the line. I think there's been a mistake. So when taking inventory, we have yet another

00:15:27.820 international scandal on our hands, and we have yet another botched apology from blackface. That's all 1.00

00:15:35.100 history now. So maybe we need to turn our attention to what needs to be done in the days and weeks

00:15:41.340 ahead. Because maybe hunker is just a symptom of Canada's Nazi problem. We don't really have a great 0.60

00:15:49.580 record on the domestic front regarding Nazis. Let us never forget that the Mackenzie King Liberals turned

00:15:56.540 away genuine refugees fleeing genuine persecution in 1939. More than 900 mostly German Jews were aboard

00:16:06.700 the cruise ship St. Louis when it sailed into Canadian waters. They were seeking sanctuary,

00:16:13.420 but they were turned away. Eventually that ship ended up back in Germany with most of the passengers

00:16:19.580 being killed by the likes of Yaroslav Honka. And to say that Honka is a one-off vis-a-vis Nazis being 0.61

00:16:29.340 admitted to Canada would be an utter falsehood. Post-war Canada inexplicably allowed numerous Nazis to

00:16:37.500 immigrate to Canada. Indeed, check out this recent tweet by former Minister of Justice Erwin Cutler,

00:16:44.620 quote, in watching the tribute paid in the house to a Nazi war criminal, I am reminded of the classic

00:16:52.060 dictum of my late friend and colleague, Irving Abella, who reminded us that in World War II and its

00:16:59.580 aftermath, it was easier to get into Canada if you were a Nazi than if you were a Jew, end quote. 0.74

00:17:07.660 Shameful. But the fact remains Canada has secret files regarding the number of Nazis who were allowed

00:17:17.260 into Canada post World War II. Yes, we are in the business right now of protecting the privacy of

00:17:24.380 Nazis. Surely in light of Nazi-gate, the time has come for blackface to release the content of those 0.98

00:17:32.140 files so we can find out how many Nazis like Honka are still residing in our nation. I suspect most have 0.94

00:17:40.140 died off given it's 2023, but it would be good to know who's who in Canada's Nazi zoo. And we need answers. 0.62

00:17:50.540 Why were these odious individuals allowed into Canada in the first place? Why are they still being

00:17:57.340 protected? This would be a good time for blackface to finally live up to his 2015 promise that the 1.00

00:18:04.940 Liberal government was going to be the most transparent government in Canadian history, when in fact, the

00:18:12.700 precise opposite is true. This scandal has caused so much hurt. Imagine being a Holocaust survivor or a war

00:18:21.260 veteran watching a Nazi being lauded in the House of Commons. I can't even imagine what my dearly departed

00:18:28.860 grandfather would say, someone who spent more than five years of his life fighting the likes of Honka.

00:18:35.180 The only winner here is Vladimir Putin. We have given him a propaganda bonanza when it comes to one of

00:18:43.020 his claims for invading Ukraine. You know that this is all part of de-Nazification of that country. In the 0.84

00:18:52.300 meantime, good luck to Poland, which has already started the process to extradite Honka. You don't 0.89

00:18:59.100 expect blackface to get that ball rolling, do you? After all, he tells Canadian veterans that they are asking 1.00

00:19:06.300 for too much while giving Islamist terrorists millions of dollars due to them suffering from hurt feelings.

00:19:14.780 Bottom line, given the sheer litany of scandals and given that we have a prime minister who absolutely

00:19:22.940 refuses to be accountable, I have yet one more question to raise. At this stage of the game, if you

00:19:32.060 still plan to vote liberal in the next federal election, why?

00:19:55.100 Well folks, one of the very worst things about the radical transgender agenda is the war on women's 1.00

00:20:01.500 sports. Gender-bending male grifters pretending to be females are invading female sports from swimming 0.99

00:20:10.060 to rugby. And when it comes to the feminist movement, well, the silence is deafening. And with more on her 0.84

00:20:18.700 plight, I am joined by powerlifter April Hutchinson. Female powerlifting has indeed been invaded by loser male 0.97

00:20:27.900 political powerlifters. But for speaking out against this egregious injustice, it is April who is being 0.95

00:20:36.140 threatened with discipline. Unbelievable. So without further ado, April, thank you so much for joining me

00:20:43.180 here on the Ezra Levin Show. For those unaware of your situation, can you give us a Reader's Digest summary,

00:20:51.180 please? Sure. So I guess Cole's notes of what's been happening over the last year or two is there has

00:20:58.380 been a biological male competing in the female category. He's a 40-year-old biological male.

00:21:07.660 Just recently, I was on the Pierce Morgan Show talking about how he just took, basically smashed all the

00:21:13.420 records in the Masters category. He has the second-highest deadlift of all time in powerlifting.

00:21:20.620 Now, this person's only been training for four years. And basically, world athletes, athletes that

00:21:25.820 have been training for 10 years or more have never even touched that weight for a deadlift. So I've been

00:21:31.740 speaking out about this matter for about a year and a half now. And my federation has, well, the first

00:21:37.340 part of it, they ignored my pleas. They basically just ignored my emails. But now they actually are

00:21:43.100 sending me letters of discipline. Ever since March, I've had three letters of discipline for speaking

00:21:49.260 out. The most recent one was about two weeks ago, saying that they're going to be taking it to a

00:21:56.060 committee board and deciding if they're going to suspend me for basically calling the male, a biological

00:22:03.340 male on TV and interviews and social media. So I'm not using the pronouns. April, this is astonishing. I mean,

00:22:12.060 why is this being tolerated by your federation? I mean, with certain exceptions, I think of auto racing

00:22:19.740 and equestrian, male and female athletes are in separate categories. It is for biological reasons.

00:22:29.980 Males and females are equal, but we're different. Males tend to be stronger, especially in a sport like

00:22:36.700 what you're in, in terms of upper body strength. I would expect power lifting is a very macho

00:22:44.140 kind of, um, you know, realm. And I don't understand why the powers that be

00:22:50.140 want to discipline you for what? Telling the truth as uncomfortable as it may be.

00:22:58.460 Yeah. Well, that's the thing. Um, I was talking to the producer earlier and I shared some photos

00:23:03.340 with him. Uh, uh, to, uh, first of all, the chair of ethics, um, has a picture posted on her social

00:23:11.340 media saying, I support trans lifters and power lifting. This is a person that sent me the letter

00:23:17.900 of discipline. So we're talking about a very, very biased board. I can name at least five just off

00:23:24.860 the top of my head are very pro trans and very public about it. Another board member has the

00:23:29.820 same picture. Uh, they posted it on, you know, transgender recognition data. They support trans

00:23:35.900 lifters in power lifting. So how am I supposed to win when I'm not even getting a fair trial?

00:23:41.340 Unbelievable. So the bias is there. Let me ask you something. Uh, certainly the Canadian authorities,

00:23:48.300 uh, they're woke, they're hopeless in terms of, uh, and, and I have to admit April, I really don't

00:23:54.620 know that much about the world of power lifting, but in terms of the international governing body,

00:24:00.780 what is their policy in terms of so-called trans woman competing with real woman?

00:24:07.580 Yeah. So actually the IPF has been really great to work with. I've been talking with them through

00:24:14.620 all of this. I mean, for the last year, um, the president, chief medical staff,

00:24:20.300 they're actually the ones, cause you know, I was talking to them for like probably six months,

00:24:24.860 just laying on the pressure. Finally, they wrote the, the, my federation and said,

00:24:29.420 you have to align with our transgender policy. Currently right now, the CPU policy is basically an

00:24:37.420 inclusion policy, meaning you, for example, David could walk in tomorrow, identify as a female,

00:24:43.980 lift crush records, do whatever you want. And then the next day you go back to being a man.

00:24:48.860 That is how easy. And you know, it is basically non-existent. The policy, the IPF has a better

00:24:55.580 policy, which is testosterone monitoring. So any transgender athlete must apply first of all,

00:25:01.740 and be accepted. Then they have to be monitored a year prior to competing. And then they have to

00:25:07.980 continuously send in medical reports, be monitored to make sure their testosterone is lower than 2.4

00:25:14.700 in animals. Now, is it the perfect policy? No, but it's a step, way big step ahead of what the policy is now.

00:25:22.060 No, April, I don't think it's a perfect policy at all. I think it's inherently imperfect. Here's where I

00:25:30.540 stand. And I echo the thoughts of a Canadian coach, Linda blade. Why don't we have male, female and other, 1.00

00:25:41.180 or an open division? In other words, if you're a man identifying as a female or vice versa, if you're on

00:25:48.700 steroids, other performance enhancing drugs, you go girl or guy, as the case may be. I mean,

00:25:54.940 I might even tune in to such a three ring circus as that, April. Why can't we do that? Because

00:26:02.300 that wouldn't be excluding any transgender individual. You're in the sport, but you are in a 0.99

00:26:08.860 division that is not affecting real biological females. Well, and that's the thing. I don't know

00:26:17.180 if you saw the news. I actually was working with a strong man. There was actually a male born athlete

00:26:21.900 in a strong man competition. So that's like, you know, Eddie Hall, you know, deadlifts, that crazy

00:26:27.180 sport, pure strength. They actually had a male going to nationals. Well, I spoke to them. I worked with

00:26:33.340 them. They're already going to change the policy. And they actually did exactly that. They created a

00:26:39.740 separate category. So that means that individual will have his separate podium and a separate

00:26:47.260 category. And that is all that we have been asking for all along. So we have no idea why CPU is basically

00:26:54.220 the only federation that's kind of going rogue and saying, well, no, they're basically bending over

00:26:59.900 backwards. But that's what happens when you have such a biased board. You know, people have their own

00:27:05.420 personal agendas on that board. And I mean, we see it all the time. So I mean, you can't win.

00:27:11.100 All we can do is keep fighting and speaking up. I mean, I'm not going to back down. That's why I

00:27:15.820 started this like clothing line. I'm paying for lawyers now to to fight the federation.

00:27:20.780 Yeah, it seems that the culture on this board is absolutely rancid. And by the way, maybe we can

00:27:25.740 quickly talk about your clothing line. You know, it's funny, April, I see your sweatshirt says keep

00:27:32.140 female sports female. You know, I was just covering the region of Waterloo council meeting just last

00:27:40.140 night, and they actually passed a bylaw. And what it is, is to prohibit protesters on region of Waterloo

00:27:49.820 property from wearing t shirts, from carrying signs, anything that might be deemed offensive to the

00:27:59.580 lgbtqxyz spirit unicorn community. So in other words, if you can imagine April, that sweatshirt,

00:28:10.620 if you were to wear it on a region of Waterloo public property, you're facing a trespass notice

00:28:17.260 and a $250 fine in case some member of the Rainbow Mafia finds that offensive. What do you think about that?

00:28:24.860 Okay, so actually, I would like to, I've thought about wearing this actually to competitions. I do wear it in public.

00:28:32.380 I actually get a lot of high fives. I don't actually get any backlash. But if I wear this somewhere and they say it's

00:28:38.860 offensive. First of all, it's open for interpretations. So people could read this sweatshirt any way they want.

00:28:44.860 But if they find this offensive, then I could basically come back with them and say, well, then your rainbow flight is offensive to me.

00:28:49.900 So there we go. I take my sweatshirt off. You take your flag down because your flag is about sexual orientation. So I mean, that upsets me.

00:28:58.700 So, oh, April, you're dreaming in tent in a color. I'm afraid if you think this is a two way street.

00:29:05.900 That's not how it works, my friend. But tell me how in terms of our viewers getting a hold of your merchandise, which is superb, and the money is going to a good cause, namely contributing to your legal fees.

00:29:19.260 For doing the right thing against what I consider to be a rancid board running your sport.

00:29:26.260 What is the website they would go to?

00:29:29.260 So actually, the website is I actually paired up with a local company here in Ontario, which has been great.

00:29:36.260 They're actually not even like they're doing everything at cost for me.

00:29:39.260 So any funds that I actually get from the sweatshirts or T-shirts goes directly towards me and my legal fund.

00:29:46.260 For an example, a lawyer letter costs about four thousand dollars just to send a letter.

00:29:52.260 So you can see the link in my bio on my Twitter account.

00:29:56.260 It's on my Instagram account.

00:29:58.260 I can't really say what the link is now, but if you go to Hustle Clothing Company, that's the company that's selling the merchandise.

00:30:05.260 Or you go to my Twitter or my Instagram and the link will be in my bio.

00:30:10.260 Fantastic. 0.67

00:30:11.260 And also, this individual, this man who is now going by the name of Ann Andres, I believe, you know, we've probably heard of sore losers, but this guy is a sore winner.

00:30:25.260 And I put winner in air quotes. 0.94

00:30:27.260 He has been very abusive in mocking biological female power lifters.

00:30:35.260 And in fact, I think we have a recent clip of him going off on a rant. 0.97

00:30:39.260 I guess whatever he says, whatever garbage he spews, no problem with the power lifting authorities there.

00:30:48.260 But let's run this clip and I want to hear what you have to say about it.

00:30:52.260 It is day two. I have gone away at this point.

00:30:55.260 I would just like to thank the people who are starting the new wave of petitions and support and so forth for actively removing the Ontario lifter from the CPU for her continued harassment against me and for making the CPU just in general look bad.

00:31:18.260 I mean, she's literally trying to get us removed from the IPF. 1.00

00:31:23.260 So I appreciate that.

00:31:26.260 I really do.

00:31:27.260 Hopefully we'll be able to cut this cancer out before it kills the host.

00:31:32.260 You know, April, this this is surreal and perverse.

00:31:36.260 And I believe he mocked you once he was saying that you've got little T-Rex arms.

00:31:41.260 I can't believe this is being tolerated.

00:31:46.260 Did you ever think you'd find yourself in this surreal situation?

00:31:51.260 Well, no, I actually a lot of those board members I thought were my friends.

00:31:59.260 Right.

00:32:00.260 Powerlifting community is a very family oriented kind of close group, especially the women.

00:32:06.260 Right.

00:32:07.260 So for some of them to actually, I guess, turn their back on me, you know, we all have our reasons about why we power lift.

00:32:15.260 Mine specifically.

00:32:16.260 I don't know if you saw my back story.

00:32:17.260 I am a recovering alcoholic.

00:32:18.260 I got into power lifting as a way to help keep me sober.

00:32:22.260 And so the CPU board just ignores my needs and all the mental health of all the women. 1.00

00:32:28.260 But they bend over backwards for this one man who, you know, if he doesn't get his way, he might threaten like suicide or, you know, it's this bend over backwards for him.

00:32:37.260 So, you know, I mean, I said that in my last tweet.

00:32:40.260 It's really disheartening that they want me to lie to myself and lie to the public by calling Mr. Andress a woman.

00:32:50.260 How is that good for my integrity or for anyone's integrity to lie every single day?

00:32:55.260 You know, I don't care if you pay me five million dollars.

00:32:58.260 I would never, ever lie about that.

00:33:00.260 Give me five million dollars to do something else.

00:33:02.260 But I will never back down on my belief system.

00:33:05.260 Absolutely incredible.

00:33:07.260 And, you know, I have to tell you, April, I mean, earlier this year, we went out to the town of Fergus, Ontario.

00:33:14.260 Perhaps you've seen the video.

00:33:15.260 There is another male gender bender grifter in that neck of the woods. 1.00

00:33:20.260 His name is Ash Davis.

00:33:22.260 He is playing on a female rugby team.

00:33:25.260 He is routinely injuring real females.

00:33:30.260 Let's just throw to a clip when I encountered him in Fergus.

00:33:37.260 Hey, Mr. Davis, Ash, why are you doing this?

00:33:55.260 I'm David Menzies, Rebel News.

00:33:57.260 Hi.

00:33:58.260 No, you're not really a part of this.

00:33:59.260 We're having a team chat now.

00:34:01.260 Okay, I'm just trying to ask some questions, ma'am.

00:34:03.260 But that's not the appropriate time for that.

00:34:04.260 Why are you allowing a biological male to compete against female players? 0.85

00:34:08.260 We're not going to have a conversation with you.

00:34:10.260 Okay, well, I'll talk to Ash then.

00:34:11.260 Ash, do you take joy in injuring female rugby players?

00:34:15.260 Are you lacking the skills to play with male players where you should be?

00:34:21.260 You're a biological male, aren't you?

00:34:23.260 I got you.

00:34:24.260 I got you.

00:34:25.260 I demand human rights for everybody.

00:34:28.260 Human rights for everybody.

00:34:30.260 So there you have it.

00:34:32.260 This was a rattling assignment for me, April, and it had nothing to do with the F-bombs and the middle fingers 1.00

00:34:40.260 and even the physical assaults I endured that day.

00:34:43.260 That's kind of another day at the office for me.

00:34:46.260 It was the fact that going into the assignment, I thought there might be one or two or three women on his side,

00:34:54.260 but it was apparently the entire team.

00:34:56.260 They were hysterical.

00:34:58.260 They were on the point of tears.

00:35:00.260 They were chanting trans women are real women.

00:35:03.260 And it just blew me away the level of indoctrination.

00:35:08.260 So my question to you, April, is when it comes to the female powerlifting community, 0.53

00:35:14.260 your fellow female athletes, are they on his side or are they on team female?

00:35:23.260 So a majority, I'd say 90% of the Federation are on my side.

00:35:29.260 I get a lot of behind the scene messages.

00:35:31.260 Thank you so much.

00:35:32.260 A lot of people are afraid to speak up because they feel like, you know, they might get threatened to get kicked out.

00:35:37.260 Or they might lose their job or something.

00:35:40.260 So I am basically the voice.

00:35:42.260 I'm literally the only female athlete besides Linda Blade back in the day that has come out and spoken out against this.

00:35:49.260 So a lot of people kind of stand behind me, right?

00:35:52.260 There is a small group of women that are on that side, you know. 1.00

00:35:57.260 And I, you know, I don't argue with them because everyone is, you know, has the right to their opinion.

00:36:03.260 But when it comes down to biology, it's bodies.

00:36:06.260 I've said this many times.

00:36:07.260 It's bodies that play sports, not identities.

00:36:10.260 So when they start, you know, yelling trans rights or human rights, which I hear all the time, I know that. 0.75

00:36:17.260 We know that trans rights have rights, but so do women. 0.99

00:36:22.260 We all have rights.

00:36:23.260 No one is asking to ban them.

00:36:26.260 We just want a separate category.

00:36:28.260 I'm actually a very compassionate person.

00:36:30.260 I have friends in the community, in the LGB plus community, you know.

00:36:35.260 So when it comes down to sports, it's just a separate issue.

00:36:38.260 And they have to understand that they shouldn't be using it as a personal agenda or that I'm attacking because it's not the case at all.

00:36:45.260 And April, on that point, what is the rebuttal when you suggest, look, I'm not trying to exclude anyone from powerlifting or any other sport.

00:36:55.260 Just have a separate division.

00:36:58.260 Then we're all happy.

00:36:59.260 You know, the sanctity of women's sports is safe and they're not excluded. 1.00

00:37:04.260 What is the blowback against that argument?

00:37:08.260 So that's what happened with the strongman sport.

00:37:12.260 Great solution.

00:37:14.260 Everyone can play the sport.

00:37:16.260 But now they come back and say, well, now we have to out ourselves.

00:37:20.260 You know, if there's a separate category, we're outing ourselves.

00:37:23.260 That makes us vulnerable to get hurt.

00:37:26.260 And I'm like, well, you know, that's the consequence.

00:37:29.260 I guess you have to pay if you want to play sports.

00:37:32.260 Like, you just don't come in and take our sports and our spaces.

00:37:36.260 Like, you just can't trample on the women, right? 1.00

00:37:39.260 We're trying to be fair to everyone.

00:37:41.260 And that's the best solution is to have a separate category.

00:37:44.260 I mean, you could spin and make this into a positive and be like, hey, I could be a spokesperson for the transgender community.

00:37:51.260 I could be a role model.

00:37:53.260 I could even start my own federation.

00:37:54.260 There's so many things you could do in a positive.

00:37:57.260 But they just want it.

00:37:58.260 You know, it's like it's very one sided.

00:38:00.260 Right. So.

00:38:01.260 Yeah, they really want everything.

00:38:03.260 And April, as I alluded to in the introduction, where, oh, where is the feminist movement? 0.99

00:38:10.260 We have women's sports under attack. 1.00

00:38:13.260 We have women's shelters under attack. 1.00

00:38:17.260 Female penitentiaries are welcoming in biological males. 0.99

00:38:22.260 And you can imagine what's going wrong there.

00:38:24.260 This is absolute insanity.

00:38:27.260 And it seems as though either.

00:38:30.260 I don't know if it's third or fourth wave feminism. 1.00

00:38:33.260 They're so totally woke.

00:38:34.260 They subscribe to the theory that trans women are real women. 0.97

00:38:38.260 But this is an attack on women's safe spaces. 1.00

00:38:43.260 As far as I can tell, they should be out there protesting this at every event.

00:38:48.260 But they're AWOL.

00:38:49.260 Why?

00:38:50.260 Well, I know that's the thing.

00:38:53.260 Back in the day, there was feminist fighting to be equal to men. 1.00

00:38:56.260 And, you know, girls wanted to play. 0.99

00:38:59.260 I remember there was a girl in my hockey or in high school that wanted to play on the boys team.

00:39:03.260 Right.

00:39:04.260 Fought so hard to be playing with the boys.

00:39:06.260 So it's now it's turned full circle.

00:39:09.260 Right.

00:39:10.260 So, yeah, that's unfortunate.

00:39:11.260 Like, even though my passion is sports, I still believe, you know, that men should not be in prisons and shelters, you know, bathrooms.

00:39:19.260 So, I mean, it's not just a single, it's not just a single event that I believe in.

00:39:25.260 Right.

00:39:26.260 So, I mean, we do need more women to speak out. 1.00

00:39:28.260 I do think, too, a lot of women are very more, what's the word, more nurturing, right?

00:39:33.260 More compassionate, more soft.

00:39:35.260 You also have a lot of women or just people in general that side with, say, the left is because, you know, this was almost like a hot topic during COVID, right?

00:39:45.260 Everyone was at home.

00:39:46.260 Everyone was on TikTok.

00:39:48.260 There's a lot of donors in life that just want to be accepted.

00:39:51.260 You know, whether it's that person that was never good at sports or that person that was maybe overweight or, you know, they, a lot of those people, unfortunately, do jump on that bandwagon and support that side.

00:40:03.260 You know, the world we live in, April, it's as though not even the mad geniuses at Monty Python could come up with this kind of narrative.

00:40:12.260 It would be too outrageous.

00:40:14.260 One last thing about Anne Andres, and I'm not saying this to be mean or funny or anything like that, but is there, do you suspect, a degree of mental illness with this individual?

00:40:27.260 Or is this a dude who, if he was competing against male powerlifters, he's not a champion, he's not setting records in that category.

00:40:38.260 He is grifting the system.

00:40:39.260 I think it's one of two things.

00:40:41.260 What say you?

00:40:42.260 That's a hard one.

00:40:45.260 I mean, I can't speak for him.

00:40:48.260 Could he have mental illness? 0.84

00:40:50.260 Sure.

00:40:51.260 I mean, I do know if he did play with the men that he would be probably number, I think I looked it up, it'd be number 6,000. 0.81

00:40:58.260 She would even, you know, you know, a lot of people could look at me and go, well, you have a mental illness because you're a recovering alcoholic. 0.86

00:41:06.260 Right. 0.81

00:41:07.260 So I'm not a doctor.

00:41:08.260 I can't diagnose what's a mental illness or narcissism or what have you.

00:41:13.260 But I mean, definitely there is a reason why, you know, I can't say for sure.

00:41:19.260 And April, I guess one last question, looking ahead, where is this all headed?

00:41:25.260 Is there going to be some kind of court action regarding how your federation is treating biological women, yourself included?

00:41:37.260 In other words, what are the legal fees that you're raising?

00:41:41.260 What is that in anticipation of?

00:41:44.260 Yeah, so right now I'm raising money.

00:41:48.260 Icons, Marshy Smith with Icons is also contributing, Linda Blade and ICFS are also contributing funds for my lawyer fee.

00:41:58.260 So first we're going to be replying to their letter of discipline that I have until October 5th to respond to.

00:42:06.260 And then I guess it goes to a committee, they vote on it, and then I will find out my fate by October 18th.

00:42:14.260 So what will happen after that if I get suspended?

00:42:17.260 Yes, I'm very, very positive that there will be some type of definitely legal action.

00:42:23.260 I don't want to say right now, but put it this way, if I wasn't powerlifting or if I wasn't part of the CPU, I'm still going to be talking out about this and speaking up.

00:42:33.260 I will never give up. And I mean, it's just one sport, right? But guess what? Other sports will model this policy.

00:42:40.260 So I mean, I have two nieces to look after. My boyfriend has three girls in college.

00:42:46.260 So I'm looking out for the future of a female sports by doing this. 1.00

00:42:50.260 Well, you have a fantastic spirit, April.

00:42:53.260 And as I said earlier, just make sure you stay out of Waterloo region with a shirt like that saying keep female sports female. 1.00

00:43:02.260 That's now a hate crime in that neck of the woods.

00:43:05.260 April, you are, if you don't mind me saying, a strong, beautiful, courageous woman.

00:43:11.260 Don't bend the knee to this insane wokeism.

00:43:15.260 Keep up the fight and please stay in touch with us in terms of any future developments with your case, will you?

00:43:22.260 I will for sure. I'll know more at the end of October.

00:43:26.260 But thank you so much, David. It's been an honor to speak with you.

00:43:29.260 You're like my favorite reporter ever.

00:43:31.260 You're too kind. The honor is all mine.

00:43:35.260 Thank you so much again, April Hutchison.

00:43:37.260 Well, folks, plenty of feedback regarding Ezra show yesterday regarding, well, you guessed it, the ongoing litany of scandals in Ottawa, thanks to Prime Minister Blackface and company. 0.58

00:44:06.260 Nikolai Joker, MVP 15, writes, not one politician has managed to anger so many people in such a short span of time.

00:44:17.260 You know, that's a good point.

00:44:19.260 I'm old enough, though, to remember Trudeau Sr., Pierre Elliott Trudeau.

00:44:23.260 He made people's blood boil, let me tell you, Joker.

00:44:27.260 But I think you're right. I think Junior has Trump Sr. in the anger department. Unbelievable.

00:44:34.260 Bernard the Zelensky 3491 writes, is there anyone left in Canada who he hasn't called names?

00:44:46.260 Oh, yeah. Rainbow community.

00:44:48.260 The new WEF agenda for all of us.

00:44:51.260 His no gender socialist society.

00:44:54.260 That's never going to happen here.

00:44:56.260 People are on to him.

00:44:58.260 I feel for the gay and trans community being used in this way.

00:45:03.260 He has gone too far.

00:45:04.260 And you know something that the perversely ironic thing?

00:45:07.260 Let's not forget it was members of that community who were also rounded up like the Jews, like the gypsies and exterminated during the Holocaust. 0.53

00:45:18.260 Incredible.

00:45:19.260 Lava 1964 writes, I can't imagine too many Muslims would take offense at being called any sort of phobe.

00:45:28.260 I wish most of us would be as thick skinned. 0.76

00:45:31.260 You know, I think it's amazing, folks, what's happened in terms of the Muslim, Christian and even Jewish dynamic.

00:45:39.260 Suddenly, all of us are together on the same side, at least when it comes to the indoctrination over education in our school boards.

00:45:50.260 It'd be kind of nice if the ministers of education across our dominion would wake up, smell the coffee, get the message and end this radicalized agenda once and for all. 0.97

00:46:03.260 Well, folks, that is it for this edition of the Ezra Levent Show.

00:46:08.260 Thank you so much for tuning in.

00:46:10.260 The big boss man, Ezra, he'll be back in studio tomorrow.

00:46:14.260 In the meantime, as always, stay safe and stay sane.

00:46:20.260 We'll see you next time.
