00:22:53.780well our team was there for a few days and even as they were there tens of thousands of the
00:23:04.560moroccan men then they were about 95 men they went home but thousands remain to this day
00:23:11.740weeks are turning into months are they becoming a permanent presence in zuta one thing's for sure
00:23:19.560the sexual assaults and other crimes have skyrocketed. That's what happens when tens of
00:23:24.540thousands or even just thousands of military age migrants camp out in your country. Joining us now
00:23:32.560to talk about it is a reporter and activist. She's Spanish herself. Ada Luke joins us now. Ada, great
00:23:41.220to see you. We first met at a Tommy Robinson rally in London. I'm glad you're doing your activism and
00:23:47.280journalism in your home country of Spain. You were there much more recently than our reporters.
00:23:52.780Tell us what you saw on the ground. Hi, thank you so much for having me. Yes, indeed, I was there
00:23:59.820this past weekend and I went there expecting the worst and I did find, in fact, the worst situation
00:24:07.200possible. There is still, I would say, 15,000 invaders in Ceuta. As you said, Ceuta is a very
00:24:14.020tiny city in the north african continent about they have about 80 000 people living there it's
00:24:21.300a beautiful small city so when you have 15 invaders who doesn't know how to assimilate
00:24:26.560into our culture completely take over the streets it's a very impactful situation to see
00:24:32.060um you know la playa del trampoline it's the famous beach that everyone records and it's all
00:24:37.960over social media so my image in my imagination i thought all the invaders would be there and the
00:24:43.160rest of the city would be sort of okay but that was far from the truth the truth is that the
00:24:48.360invaders took over the entire city all the neighborhoods and of course that beach so it
00:24:54.240was a very tragic situation well tell me a little bit about the police and the army because you've
00:25:01.480used the word invaders that's really what it was i mean they may not have weapons on them
00:25:06.480But when thousands of military-aged men illegally storm into one country from another country, that's the dictionary definition of an invasion.
00:25:18.060So what have the Spanish police and military done in response?
00:25:25.000So I will tell you, there's like a very fine line that I don't want to cross.
00:25:30.700Because I do feel, I talk with some police officers there, they are all very tired, very frustrated about the situation.
00:25:37.340And they, of course, they would act differently if they were allowed to.
00:25:41.340So I think we need to blame the politicians and the top officers on the Spanish police that are giving them the instructions to do nothing about it.
00:25:50.100As I said, La Playa del Trampoline, it's the beach where all the migrants stay there all night long.
