00:00:04.300 You're watching The Ezra LeVant Show.
00:00:06.400 You're fighting for freedom!
00:00:09.260 Shame on you, you censorious bug!
00:00:21.120 Mr. Kerry?
00:00:23.400 No, can I ask you, Donald Trump has said that he is pulling out of the Paris Accord.
00:00:28.060 Do you have any comment on that?
00:00:30.780 No, I think it's what he did before.
00:00:34.100 I think we all expected him to do that.
00:00:36.520 But I think that, I think the marketplace is moving forward.
00:00:42.380 Countries all around the world.
00:00:43.780 How are you doing?
00:00:44.720 Good.
00:00:45.060 How are you?
00:00:45.720 I'm okay.
00:00:47.560 You know, countries all around the world are going to continue to compete.
00:00:52.380 And there will be a lot of jobs and a lot of products made,
00:00:55.580 which I hope America isn't going to mess out on.
00:00:57.980 So we're going to keep working.
00:01:00.000 Now, can I ask you, did you fly commercial to get here?
00:01:04.100 Partway, yes.
00:01:06.220 Partway, and then what?
00:01:08.840 What do you mean, and then what?
00:01:10.060 Well, you're an advocate against climate change.
00:01:13.100 Give the badge, please.
00:01:14.260 Excuse me.
00:01:14.940 Here.
00:01:15.460 Thank you very much.
00:01:16.520 Thank you very much.
00:01:18.940 Mr. Kerry, we got interrupted last.
00:01:20.740 Quick question.
00:01:21.620 Why are you actually here now when you're not in any professional?
00:01:25.720 I'm sorry, sir.
00:01:26.320 No questions.
00:01:26.800 That's okay.
00:01:27.180 He can talk for himself.
00:01:28.100 I'm in the private sector.
00:01:29.020 You're in the private sector now?
00:01:30.080 Sure.
00:01:30.240 And you told us that you part flew here privately.
00:01:34.000 Sorry, sir.
00:01:34.460 We're not.
00:01:34.980 That's how you get here.
00:01:36.900 No, no.
00:01:37.140 But you told me, last year you got very upset that we implied that you took private jets.
00:01:41.600 Yesterday you told us that you...
00:01:43.060 I'm not going to waste my time with you.
00:01:44.080 So, you said you part traveled.
00:01:46.380 What part did you travel here privately?
00:01:48.420 Thank you, sir.
00:01:49.340 I'm sorry.
00:01:50.480 Is it now worth it?
00:01:51.580 Is it now worth it in the private sector?
00:01:53.220 I'm sorry, sir.
00:01:53.780 Is your carbon footprint worth it now?
00:01:55.740 I'm sorry, sir.
00:01:55.760 We're not doing any energy.
00:01:56.340 Flying, obviously, private jets to get here.
00:01:58.060 Can you disclose who your clients are?
00:01:59.720 Don't you think that's relevant?
00:02:02.120 You used to work for the U.S. government.
00:02:03.720 Who do you work for now?
00:02:05.720 Shouldn't you disclose it?
00:02:06.880 I work in several capacities now.
00:02:10.520 Can you name them, please?
00:02:12.000 Well, if you'd like that, I'll have my office with them all out.
00:02:14.920 I'm skeptical that you will, sir, with all respect.
00:02:17.620 Can you tell me at least one of them?
00:02:18.900 Surely you know.
00:02:19.640 Look, I'm not going to put up with your ridiculous...
00:02:22.480 It's not disrespectful.
00:02:24.420 I respect you, sir.
00:02:25.340 You are.
00:02:25.600 No, you are.
00:02:25.980 I'm asking who you work for because it's not known right now.
00:02:29.240 I work for Galvanize Climate Solutions.
00:02:32.320 And how long have you been working with them?
00:02:33.820 Full-time climate addressing the energy transition
00:02:39.320 and working constructively with people.
00:02:42.920 And who's behind that organization?
00:02:45.200 Who funds it?
00:02:46.100 It's not funded.
00:02:47.240 It's a...
00:02:48.780 Are you a volunteer?
00:02:51.880 Tom Steyer is the president.
00:02:54.140 So he made his money in coal, didn't he?
00:02:57.720 Don't you think that's unusual that Tom Steyer made his money in coal
00:03:00.300 and he's paying you?
00:03:01.860 Yes, sir.
00:03:02.740 I think that's very...
00:03:03.940 I said he's paying me.
00:03:05.220 Are you a volunteer, sir?
00:03:06.140 Right past us walks Philippe Hildebrand.
00:03:09.840 He's the second-in-command at BlackRock.
00:03:12.680 And BlackRock is a well-known crisis profiteer,
00:03:15.920 a conflict capitalism organization.
00:03:18.640 They control $11.5 trillion in assets.
00:03:23.060 They make a lot of money off war.
00:03:24.580 And we put some questions to him about how their business model might change
00:03:30.620 now that there's a president who will probably bring about peace
00:03:34.940 once again in the Middle East.
00:03:37.380 How you doing, sir?
00:03:39.220 How you doing?
00:03:40.540 How you feeling about Donald Trump's inauguration today?
00:03:42.820 Is this finally BlackRock's chance now to make money off the rebuilding of Gaza,
00:03:51.600 the rebuilding of Ukraine now that the wars are all going to end?
00:03:56.580 Are you excited to have somebody like Trump in there or are you coping?
00:04:00.880 Is it bad or good for BlackRock that the United States is inaugurating a president
00:04:10.900 who achieves peace through power?
00:04:15.300 Is Trump good for business or not so good for business?
00:04:22.380 He wasn't working.
00:04:23.640 He wasn't doing anything.
00:04:24.620 Sometimes they would throw stuff at us or spit on us.
00:04:27.280 One time the police came, they warned him, you can no touch the cameras.
00:04:31.520 One time he pushed me from the porch.
00:04:33.600 At that time, I called the police too.
00:04:35.540 Every time the police knew it's the landlord and tenant board matter,
00:04:39.420 they just gave him the warning and left off.
00:04:42.620 They owed us over five months of rent plus the utilities around $20,000 plus the damages,
00:04:48.060 which, you know, I don't even want to go there.
00:04:51.000 And they stayed from start to finish nine months.
00:04:53.960 How do you know that she was panhandling?
00:04:56.180 Somebody told me we saw her outside one of Toronto mosques.
00:05:00.760 She used to sit certain days of the week outside food basic.
00:05:04.900 Julian never does that.
00:05:06.400 So it was always Casalina and her younger kids.
00:05:09.420 The family ended up moving out of Farzana's property.
00:05:11.980 And she'll speak a little bit more about that in a minute.
00:05:14.660 But I was able to confirm the location where Julian and Casalina currently reside.
00:05:20.980 I had a few questions for them.
00:05:22.660 Check it out.
00:05:23.180 Why are you out begging for money when you live here?
00:05:28.620 Why are you bringing your small child with you to beg for money when you live here?
00:05:35.220 Are you going to pay back the unpaid rent?
00:05:38.280 How did you get into Canada?
00:05:39.780 Do you think Julian was forcing her to do it?
00:05:44.980 Do you think she also wants to be out there panhandling?
00:05:47.780 Do you think it's a combo of both?
00:05:50.260 Yes, combo.
00:05:51.000 It's a joint effort.
00:05:51.980 But I think what I learned, their lifestyle is they try to make or they try to get as much money they can.
00:05:59.840 So they can go and party at night.
00:06:01.720 How did this all come to an end?
00:06:03.200 He signed an N11 farm.
00:06:05.080 That's mean he was willing to leave within 30 days.
00:06:08.840 We offered him money.
00:06:10.540 He signed it.
00:06:11.480 And at that time, before he signed it, he fined a rental unit too in that area.
00:06:16.520 They even took off the rods, the curtain rods, the screws.
00:06:20.260 Any possible thing you could think of, you know, from the house, they took it off.
00:06:24.820 So when he gave the keys to my husband, I was standing there.
00:06:29.180 He looked right into my eyes and he told me, you know, Farzana, you should thank me that you are getting the house back.
00:06:37.000 Because we could live here forever and ever, rent free, utility free, and there's nothing you could have done.
00:06:44.020 They will do any trick in their sleeves, you know, to get out what they need.
00:06:49.180 And he told me, the reason I look people like you, because they're so dumb.
00:06:54.180 You can tell them anything and they would buy it.
00:06:56.960 I feel sorry for their younger kids too, because when you grew up in a certain environment, you think this is how the things are.
00:07:05.280 Are you still in court?
00:07:06.440 No, the hearing was on August 1st.
00:07:08.700 So they didn't show up and their legal representative didn't show up.
00:07:13.400 What was your reaction when you saw that photo from the Hamilton Police Service of allegedly Casalina with the other woman stealing from the variety store?
00:07:22.920 And how do you know it was her?
00:07:24.220 I used to see Casalina dress up as Muslim.
00:07:26.840 We saw it and we said, this is Casalina, because that's one of the scars she had.
00:07:30.900 That's when we call the police.
00:07:32.400 I was told by the police that she's arrested.
00:07:34.540 I was told, I think, very recently, last month, she was arrested in Florida and I think in New York.
00:07:39.880 She was arrested with a newborn baby.
00:07:42.440 And the same baby was used by her in the taste of Lawrence.
00:07:47.840 So the same nine-year-old boy was sitting with her when I took her pictures.
00:07:51.760 The Florida arrest.
00:07:52.760 This one's interesting because she's using Julian's last name.
00:07:55.640 But then in the other arrests, she's using a different last name.
00:07:59.200 Why do you think that is?
00:08:00.840 I think she just wanted to hide or protect her identity as much as possible.
00:08:05.740 They were professionals.
00:08:06.960 It's the system needs to change.
00:08:09.000 I went to social assistant.
00:08:11.020 I went to David Smith office, MPP.
00:08:13.760 I met with his assistant in person.
00:08:16.240 I emailed Salma Zahad.
00:08:17.540 I also emailed Doug Ford office.
00:08:19.720 So I went to as many places as I could think of.
00:08:23.240 I thought that these people are there to assist.
00:08:25.560 But it's amazing that for a landlord and tenant board matter, when you have all the evidence, that they all just watch you.
00:08:33.120 I think the system is set to fail people like us.
00:08:36.760 Why is our government allowing people like this to enter our country and rip off hardworking, honest Canadians?
00:08:43.380 So many people today are struggling in Canada.
00:08:46.240 People are working day and night just to get by.
00:08:48.660 And at the same time, you have people like Castellina and Julian coming here, taking advantage of the system.
00:08:55.980 I want to end this report by saying I truly feel sorry for the children.
00:09:00.360 They didn't choose this life.
00:09:02.500 Hopefully they can grow up and be contributing members to society and break this cycle.
00:09:07.440 David Menzies for Rebel News here in downtown Toronto.
00:09:10.660 And I'm at the palatial headquarters of the Liquor Control Board of Ontario.
00:09:16.260 And the reason why Lincoln Jay and I are here, we're paying a house call because I've reached out to the media relations department.
00:09:23.480 They have one job to do, relate to the media, and they don't.
00:09:27.980 So why do we even have a department like that?
00:09:30.320 And the issue is the theft that's going on, the brazen theft in the province of LCBO stores.
00:09:39.680 It used to be that a shoplifter would come into the store, covertly steal a bottle, and sneak his way out.
00:09:46.420 But now criminals are going in with burlap bags, suitcases, even shopping carts, and filling that packaging up with thousands and thousands of dollars of product in broad daylight, not even wearing a disguise.
00:10:02.520 Check out what happened the other day in Kitchener, Ontario.
00:10:05.180 Hey guys, you're on live TV, eh?
00:10:21.660 Yeah, so they're not even trying to be sneaky about it anymore.
00:10:31.540 So I want to find out what the LCBO is going to do about this.
00:10:37.580 I want to find out what the theft abound is.
00:10:40.120 The LCBO, going back seven years ago, they lost typically $6 million retail a year in shoplifting.
00:10:48.900 The union, OPSU, however, says the figure is closer to $77 million.
00:10:54.140 That's one heck of a discrepancy.
00:10:56.940 And I just want to get an idea what the policy is when people are brazenly coming in to these stores and leaving with thousands of unpaid merchandise.
00:11:08.840 And by the way, if you live in Ontario, you have skin in the game.
00:11:14.320 This is a crown corporation.
00:11:16.380 Ontarians are shareholders.
00:11:18.920 We demand better, or we should be demanding better.
00:11:22.260 This is outrageous what's going on, because this is money coming right out of the Treasury.
00:11:27.960 Anyways, like I said, nobody in media relations would get back to us.
00:11:31.480 Let's pay a house call, see if we can get somebody at the bloated bureaucracy, that is the LCBO, to come on camera.
00:11:39.460 Do you have the contact number for the press office?
00:11:47.100 A contact number?
00:11:48.220 For the press office?
00:11:48.900 I only have an email address.
00:11:52.040 The contact address?
00:11:53.140 Yeah.
00:11:53.600 Do you reach out to me via email and send a real information to me?
00:11:56.360 Oh, I've already done that a couple of days ago.
00:12:00.020 I'm on deadline right now, and I never even had my email acknowledged.
00:12:04.820 So we work hybrid, so there's not even necessarily anybody in the hospital.
00:12:10.420 Oh, there's nobody here?
00:12:12.840 Do you have a name of somebody?
00:12:15.440 Not specifically.
00:12:17.100 Not specifically?
00:12:18.580 I'm at LCBO headquarters.
00:12:21.560 We're paying a house call, because when you reach out to them via their media relations line...
00:12:27.540 Hello.
00:12:28.040 Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, excuse me, excuse me.
00:12:31.900 No.
00:12:32.400 Excuse me.
00:12:32.840 No.
00:12:33.520 What are you doing?
00:12:34.260 I need the video you've recorded of me, because I am a private citizen, and you can't record
00:12:38.160 me without my permission.
00:12:39.280 Yeah, well, you have to make an appointment for that.
00:12:42.320 Yeah, exactly.
00:12:43.180 You need my written permission, signed consent form.
00:12:45.340 Do you have a consent form for me to sign?
00:12:46.740 No, you're wrong.
00:12:47.500 We don't need it.
00:12:49.520 So keep making a horse's ass out of yourself.
00:12:52.580 Oh, my God.
00:12:53.080 Just get out of here.
00:12:54.240 Yeah, okay.
00:12:56.020 Well, who are you, sir?
00:12:58.680 You can't be up here.
00:12:59.700 Who are you?
00:13:00.520 You can't be up here.
00:13:01.440 You've got to leave now.
00:13:02.060 Okay.
00:13:02.540 Who are you?
00:13:03.160 Listen, Rebel News, you've got to leave right now.
00:13:05.100 Yeah, well.
00:13:05.620 I'm calling security.
00:13:06.580 Okay.
00:13:06.980 So you're not security.
00:13:08.800 Individual Ontarians are shareholders in the LCBO.
00:13:13.540 It is a crown corporation.
00:13:15.580 They're not a private company.
00:13:17.380 Again, it's very much a situation, I think, of where the priorities...
00:13:23.760 I'm interrupting again.
00:13:24.880 You need to stop recording.
00:13:26.240 Why?
00:13:26.940 Because you're trespassing and I'm telling you to leave.
00:13:29.900 No, are you a security guard?
00:13:32.020 This security guard is...
00:13:33.400 Oh, are you a security guard, sir?
00:13:34.620 Okay.
00:13:34.960 You know, I'm going to turn the police...
00:13:36.940 Oh, no, I appreciate that.
00:13:38.040 I'm going to turn on my camera and this interaction will be due on...
00:13:41.280 A hundred percent.
00:13:41.960 No problem at all.
00:13:43.540 Are you rolling?
00:13:46.340 Just in case.
00:13:47.640 Hey, how are you?
00:13:48.980 Oh, yeah.
00:13:50.060 Okay.
00:13:51.140 Wow.
00:13:51.520 There she goes.
00:13:52.180 Miss America.
00:13:53.700 Anyways, I think that tells you about the caliber of person who works at the LCBO.
00:14:01.020 Sent her a message over Snapchat asking her if she had a boyfriend, which she had replied
00:14:06.140 no.
00:14:07.100 She asked if she wanted an Indian boyfriend and my niece's reply was, well, how old is he?
00:14:15.480 And she said 25 and she said, well, I'm only 17.
00:14:18.840 I heard I could make $20,000 if I wanted to marry the manager's brother here.
00:14:23.580 Can I start that process?
00:14:26.380 You have no comments on it?
00:14:27.760 So is it true or not?
00:14:30.640 Just because your boss doesn't like the fact that an independent journalist is in here
00:14:35.240 video recording, that's not up to him.
00:14:38.640 She has the right to do that.
00:14:41.320 I'm not going to...
00:14:42.300 No.
00:14:43.520 It's an operation.
00:14:44.720 Tensez-vous de-de-la.
00:14:45.980 What's the operation?
00:14:47.040 It's a travail.
00:16:01.180 If you're asking me, I want the money that I pay as a tax, I want to just be, like, spent for, for, how do you call it,
00:16:12.860 the wealth, health and freedom of the citizen of Quebec, citizen of Montréal.
00:16:18.600 You have been an MP for the last six years.
00:16:24.420 Now you have, you're entitled to a retirement, before that you were a provincial MP.
00:16:30.020 In other words, the majority of your career has been at the expense of taxpayers,
00:16:34.560 but you chose to boycott conservatives and right-leaning media, such as ours,
00:16:40.480 and you supported Justin Trudeau's bill that aimed to censor the Internet.
00:16:45.780 So, why do you think that it's ethically acceptable to marginalize conservatives
00:16:53.600 and refuse to treat them with respect?
00:16:57.580 Answer.
00:16:58.640 I do not answer questions from Rebel News because it's an organization that spreads disinformation,
00:17:05.880 so I'm not going to answer your question, but I will take the time to say that what's key in this election for me
00:17:11.960 is this question of who's going to fight for you and who's going to defend what's important for you,
00:17:19.820 health care, for instance, who's going to defend the interests of everyday Canadians and not just CEOs,
00:17:26.740 and we have major companies who are scamming people.
00:17:32.340 So, question, you are banned from the Indian territory for your policies,
00:17:43.400 but here in Canada you support censorship and words that you think are unacceptable,
00:17:50.620 especially through censorship online,
00:17:52.520 and you actually refuse to answer questions from journalists with whom you do not agree,
00:17:57.780 as you have just done.
00:17:59.600 So, you should be punished in one way or another, is the impression that leaves.
00:18:06.360 So, how are you different than people who would put you in prison?
00:18:11.620 Answer.
00:18:12.300 That is another example of why I do not answer questions from Rebel News,
00:18:15.740 because you are spreading disinformation, and your question is an example of this.
00:18:22.320 Oh, what a funny guy.
00:18:23.420 Did you do the one in English?
00:18:24.140 He's such a funny guy.
00:18:25.180 No, you're just joking.
00:18:27.320 Hello, Mr. Singh.
00:18:28.720 Drea Humphrey with Rebel News.
00:18:30.780 Your party takes great pride in standing against hate,
00:18:33.580 such as white supremacy, Islamophobia, and online...
00:18:35.960 Sorry, I didn't get your outlet.
00:18:38.180 Drea Humphrey with Rebel News.
00:18:39.600 Okay.
00:18:40.860 You know I'm going to go with this, though, right?
00:18:43.500 Can I speak?
00:18:44.440 Yeah, you can.
00:18:44.800 I'm just going to say, you know where I'm going to go with it, though.
00:18:46.560 Wow.
00:18:47.000 Your party takes pride in standing against hate,
00:18:49.640 such as white supremacy, Islamophobia, and online hate speech.
00:18:53.860 Yet, you stay silent about ongoing attacks against Christians,
00:18:57.880 even after Conservative MP Jamil Javani's order paper question
00:19:01.820 revealed that over 200 churches have been targeted by arson and vandalism
00:19:06.600 since claims of remains being discovered at former residential schools
00:19:10.700 swept the nation in 2021.
00:19:12.480 These claims have been disproven by bans that excavated
00:19:17.000 and remain unproven by those that have not.
00:19:21.020 Will you condemn the rise in acts of hate against Christians today
00:19:24.940 and explain what your party will do moving forward
00:19:28.580 to keep Christians safe from hate in Canada?
00:19:31.600 Again, thank you, but I'm not going to respond to an organization
00:19:35.040 that promotes misinformation and disinformation like Rebel News,
00:19:39.020 so no, I'm not going to respond to your question.
00:19:40.640 Wow.
00:19:40.920 Well, she said it had no misinformation in it.
00:19:43.840 Perhaps you didn't hear me.
00:19:47.260 Over 200 Christian places of worship have been attacked in Canada since 2021.
00:19:52.300 Many served First Nations communities, many were historic,
00:19:56.940 and they diverted police and resources and put others at risk.
00:20:02.320 What do you say to Canadians who see your refusal to answer,
00:20:05.840 especially from one of the few media outlets here that are not funded by the state,
00:20:10.160 as proof that a vote for you is a vote for a dangerous radical party
00:20:15.240 that gaslights the public into thinking it stands against hate
00:20:18.260 when its silence is instead emboldening Christophobia?
00:20:22.120 Your question is another example of why I don't respond to agencies like Rebel News
00:20:27.420 that promote misinformation and disinformation.
00:20:29.860 Sheila Gunn-Reed for Rebel News.
00:20:31.780 Yay, Sheila.
00:20:32.520 We've seen the NDP tonight refuse to take questions from independent journalists.
00:20:36.740 The Liberals have gone one step further.
00:20:39.160 The Carney campaign has called the police on independent journalists.
00:20:42.360 Trudeau before that brought in C-18, C-11.
00:20:45.740 The Liberals are promising a revamped version of the Online Harms Act.
00:20:50.320 What would a Conservative government do to ensure the independence of the press
00:20:54.900 and protect Canadians' right to have access to information
00:20:59.300 and hold their politicians to account?
00:21:01.680 We are the only party that's willing to protect freedom of the press, of all the media.
00:21:07.300 And we will also repeal C-11, the censorship law.
00:21:12.840 We will remove the censorship of Canadian news on web platforms like Facebook
00:21:19.200 and Instagram, and we will fight back against any kind of Orwellian online censorship law
00:21:31.200 like the one that the previous Liberal government instituted.
00:21:36.620 It was designed to create the possibility of pre-emptive arrests of people where you could be arrested
00:21:46.300 if you were suspected of sometime in the future planning to say something harmful online.
00:21:54.400 You could be under a peace bond.
00:21:56.440 I mean, that is, it really is Orwellian.
00:21:58.620 And I note that many people across the spectrum have spoken out against this censorship.
00:22:05.300 Even someone like Margaret Atwood, not known to be a Conservative,
00:22:10.020 has said that this kind of censorship is not only bad for democracy,
00:22:13.280 but inhibits artistic expression.
00:22:16.400 So I stand for free speech, and we will respect the right of Canadians
00:22:21.300 to have access to the media that they choose.
00:22:25.700 Canada is suffering the most violent anti-Semitic crime wave in history.
00:22:31.960 Yes.
00:22:32.400 There have been shootings, fire bombings, even a riot right here in Montreal.
00:22:36.860 But not all of this anti-Semitic hatred and incitement rises to the high level of a criminal co-defence.
00:22:44.120 Do you believe that foreign nationals, that is, people who are not Canadian citizens,
00:22:48.600 should be deported for participating in these hate marches
00:22:52.100 or other pro-Hamas activities that don't rise to the level of a crime?
00:22:58.360 Well, what I have said is when there is a crime involved,
00:23:01.000 including crimes of vandalism, that visitors to Canada should be deported.
00:23:08.220 You simply can't come here and firebomb a Jewish bakery or someone's home
00:23:14.260 or smash windows out of a political riot and expect to stay in this country
00:23:19.880 if you are on a visitor visa.
00:23:22.660 We will be bringing in tougher laws to penalize those who are permanent residents
00:23:27.100 and citizens who break laws and harm our communities.
00:23:31.100 But look, this is the disintegration we have witnessed after the lost liberal decade.
00:23:38.740 Everybody is divided.
00:23:40.560 This group is divided against that group.
00:23:42.660 There is crime and chaos in our streets.
00:23:45.820 The liberals have promoted this division by saying one thing to one group
00:23:50.080 and then exactly the opposite to a different group.
00:23:53.960 We had a tradition in this country before this government
00:23:58.380 where you could come from the conflict-ridden places in the world
00:24:02.320 and you would leave the fight behind.
00:24:06.080 You might have a debate about the politics of that place
00:24:09.020 when you sat down in a coffee shop in Montreal or Toronto,
00:24:12.460 but it never overflowed into street violence.
00:24:15.860 We need to get back to that.
00:24:17.460 We welcome people to this country.
00:24:19.640 Sure, bring your culture, bring your traditions,
00:24:21.680 bring your family,
00:24:24.480 but do not bring foreign conflicts onto our streets.
00:24:28.360 We're going to have peaceful streets again
00:24:30.740 and we're going to be united.
00:24:32.420 We should put, all of us should consider ourselves Canadian first
00:24:35.700 and put foreign divisions behind us.
00:24:40.380 Mr. Blanchett, good evening.
00:24:42.000 David Menzies with Rebel News.
00:24:43.600 Here's David.
00:24:44.220 Mr. Blanchett, since 1941,
00:24:46.780 a pipeline has brought oil from Portland, Maine to Montreal.
00:24:50.640 Over the years, it has brought hundreds of millions of barrels of oil,
00:24:54.780 much of it from OPEC dictatorships.
00:24:57.840 Why have you never, not even once,
00:25:00.440 opposed OPEC conflict oil being imported through an aging pipeline?
00:25:06.020 Why do you prefer OPEC conflict oil over Alberta ethical oil?
00:25:11.120 I seem to believe that you already have the answer you want to write,
00:25:15.580 so your question seems to contain the answer.
00:25:20.040 I believe I am the one who authorized the change of direction in bridge line B in 2013,
00:25:30.020 which seems to prove that I'm not a fanatic against oil.
00:25:33.440 But I believe that we've got to reduce our consumption of oil progressively,
00:25:38.240 including from Alberta,
00:25:39.760 because we are clearly being very expensive for every family in Quebec and Canada
00:25:45.880 and destroying the whole planet.
00:25:48.540 The denial of the reality of climate change since the beginning of this campaign
00:25:53.540 and the change of art of Mr. Carney,
00:25:55.860 who decided to be more conservative than Mr. Poeliev,
00:25:58.620 is very harmful for environment.
00:26:00.540 Destroying the whole planet.
00:26:02.060 Mr. Blanchet, just to follow up on that question,
00:26:04.540 your party and your stance on pipelines
00:26:08.000 would seem to be diametrically opposed to Quebecers.
00:26:12.200 A poll came out showing that 74% of Quebecers
00:26:16.520 support the building of new pipelines.
00:26:19.980 Why are you and your party not in sync
00:26:22.600 with the majority of people in this province, sir?
00:26:25.000 Don't you know my love for commenting polls?
00:26:29.200 Have a nice evening.
00:26:30.200 Just watching it, having watched the debate, David,
00:26:33.920 you know, the debate was one type of conversation.
00:26:37.420 This feels very different.
00:26:39.420 I think the debate commission is going to need to be accountable
00:26:43.240 for what's kind of happening here.
00:26:44.900 They moved the time of the debate the day before.
00:26:47.340 They kicked the greens out the morning of.
00:26:49.780 And they've opened up the scrums and the press access
00:26:52.260 to a bunch of groups who sometimes are registered charities
00:26:54.960 or have been defined by their owner
00:26:56.600 as not actually a journalistic organization
00:26:58.700 or have been ruled by the federal court
00:27:00.920 to not be a journalistic organization.
00:27:02.980 And in an election like this one,
00:27:05.160 with very, very substantive debate
00:27:07.280 on very substantive issues,
00:27:08.480 moderated very well and executed very well
00:27:10.320 by all the leaders,
00:27:11.420 this is where this is going.
00:27:13.160 So, look, the debate commission was set up
00:27:15.140 to make this stuff run in a professional, coherent way,
00:27:19.020 shifting the time for a hockey game,
00:27:20.840 kicking out the greens about a problem
00:27:22.720 that has been known about for a week,
00:27:24.220 and now this.
00:27:25.200 I think, I would like an explanation as a journalist.
00:27:29.220 I think a lot of people at home
00:27:30.380 would like an explanation as to why it happens this way.
00:27:32.440 I mean, who knows what's going to happen
00:27:33.980 with the English debate tomorrow.
00:27:35.360 But we've seen this, that they are talking about,
00:27:37.940 there was immigration questions in the debate,
00:27:40.020 a consensus on, you know,
00:27:40.980 living up the safe third country agreement.
00:27:43.480 Can you really do that with an administration
00:27:45.260 like the Trump administration right now,
00:27:47.020 where you send people back
00:27:48.100 when the foundational principle
00:27:49.460 of the safe third country agreement
00:27:50.720 is people you deny access at your border
00:27:53.620 are going to get due process
00:27:55.680 and legal, proper legal treatment
00:27:58.360 in the country you're sending them back to
00:27:59.980 when people are just being snatched
00:28:01.280 and sent to, they sent an American citizen
00:28:03.800 to Central America
00:28:04.700 and they're refusing to bring back.
00:28:05.940 So, there are substantive follow-ups
00:28:07.620 on these things for these leaders.
00:28:10.420 They only get 10 minutes
00:28:11.660 and it's being monopolized by people
00:28:13.920 who are asking on issues
00:28:16.060 that are not central to the campaign
00:28:17.600 and certainly were not central to this debate.
00:28:19.420 And we have about 30 seconds left.
00:28:21.460 Anything of substance that you heard there,
00:28:23.880 policy-wise, or that you've heard tonight
00:28:25.240 that you hadn't heard before?
00:28:27.020 Not in any of these scrums
00:28:28.480 because they are being taken over
00:28:31.020 by other agendas, right?
00:28:32.680 And not, I think, necessarily helping
00:28:35.240 a broad swath of voters.
00:28:37.060 Some people maybe do want to hear
00:28:38.260 some of these questions and answers,
00:28:40.000 but broadly, I don't think they represent
00:28:42.340 sort of what the ballot box question is about.
00:28:44.600 We can talk more, yeah.
00:28:45.500 Hi, everybody.
00:28:46.220 It's almost 10 p.m.
00:28:47.280 And we just finished the French language leaders debate
00:28:51.360 at the CBC headquarters in Montreal.
00:28:54.400 And let me tell you,
00:28:55.440 going in that building
00:28:56.480 is like going in the belly of the beast.
00:28:58.740 There were people who did not like us there
00:29:01.740 and they let us know it.
00:29:03.500 The debate itself was actually,
00:29:05.820 I'll say it, it was pretty good.
00:29:07.400 All the candidates put their best foot forward.
00:29:09.380 I mean, Jagmeet Singh's a little bit slower
00:29:11.060 than the others,
00:29:11.720 but I mean, he held up the best he could.
00:29:13.720 It was interesting they did a clock
00:29:15.560 about how minutes each person spoke
00:29:18.000 and Jagmeet Singh spoke the least.
00:29:19.840 I think that was his strategy,
00:29:21.440 say as little as possible to avoid stepping in it.
00:29:24.240 Anyways, put him aside for a minute.
00:29:25.820 I thought the debate was well moderated.
00:29:28.060 The subjects were reasonable.
00:29:30.600 It wasn't just left-wing subjects.
00:29:32.400 It was an opportunity for conservative points to be made.
00:29:35.220 They even talked about immigration.
00:29:36.760 When was the last time you saw that in a leader's debate?
00:29:39.880 But to me, the highlight was the people standing next to me
00:29:43.100 Remember, we were not allowed to ask questions.
00:29:46.840 We were allowed to come here.
00:29:48.800 They accredited 16 rebels,
00:29:50.540 but they said only one can talk.
00:29:52.400 The other 15 have to sit in silence.
00:29:54.720 Well, that's when we lawyered up
00:29:55.800 and we broke down the walls.
00:29:57.360 And so the five of us here assembled,
00:29:59.760 Drea Humphrey from BC,
00:30:01.520 Sheila Gunn-Reed from Alberta,
00:30:03.620 David Menzies from Ontario,
00:30:04.980 and the hometown girl, Alexa Lavoie
00:30:07.160 from right here in Montreal.
00:30:08.380 And I flew in too.
00:30:09.520 And we got in the lineup for the scrum afterwards.
00:30:14.300 And four out of five of us,
00:30:15.860 I was the only one who didn't get up.
00:30:17.460 The other four people you see here
00:30:19.820 put questions to the leaders.
00:30:22.360 And they were questions that no one else would put.
00:30:26.140 I just want to take a minute to go through
00:30:28.560 the list of folks here
00:30:30.220 and have them talk for a minute
00:30:32.000 about the questions they made.
00:30:33.700 Why?
00:30:34.820 Because this is really our only opportunity
00:30:36.940 to put questions to these leaders
00:30:38.720 because most of them,
00:30:41.020 when they see a rebel camera,
00:30:42.660 dispatch the police.
00:30:44.180 Thank you so much for your time.
00:30:47.000 All right.
00:30:47.800 Now they got the smoke abuse out.
00:30:50.260 Blowing smoke in our face now.
00:30:52.900 It's very sad.
00:30:54.020 Honestly, this makes me very sad.
00:30:55.500 But I'm very glad that last time
00:30:57.180 when we went to the Kamloops
00:30:58.400 to cover the same type of event,
00:31:00.140 which was allowed to happen, by the way,
00:31:01.860 there was lots of discussion that took place.
00:31:04.140 I guess the students there are less scared
00:31:06.420 of discussions and opinions there.
00:31:09.420 But after those, you know, conversations took place,
00:31:13.540 we were tapped on the shoulder to say,
00:31:15.640 thank you for showing up.
00:31:17.360 And no matter what side they were on,
00:31:19.200 they were actually happy
00:31:20.020 that they had those discussions.
00:31:21.200 That's not what's taking place here.
00:31:23.540 Sorry, they're blowing smoke directly
00:31:25.200 in our security's face.
00:31:27.820 It's really disgusting and shameful.
00:31:29.860 But hopefully, we're seeing things change.
00:31:33.540 And on that note, with what you just saw here,
00:31:35.840 you should know that sadly,
00:31:37.320 to come to universities,
00:31:38.700 it's not that safe anymore.
00:31:40.420 I'm going to throw to a shot of what took place
00:31:43.500 when Dr. Francis Whittleson went to Winnipeg
00:31:46.580 right now and have a look here.
00:31:49.400 So for that reason, and for this reason,
00:31:53.520 as smoke and obnoxious behavior goes in my face,
00:31:57.540 that's why we have to have security
00:31:59.200 to bring you these types of stories.
00:32:02.140 So if you want to be a part of making that possible,
00:32:04.720 we don't take a penny from the state,
00:32:07.280 like 95% of the media.
00:32:08.840 So please consider going to JournalistDefenseFund.com
00:32:14.300 so that clowns like this,
00:32:16.980 I shouldn't even say clown, God forgive me,
00:32:19.160 so that we can be safe while we tell the truth
00:32:22.060 against whatever you want to call this.
00:32:24.960 That's JournalistDefenseFund.com.
00:33:28.620 designing,
00:33:31.820 se ag
00:33:47.380 I didn't call you anything, I'm, I, yeah, but it's her, not me.
00:33:54.380 No?
00:33:55.380 Where's the violence?
00:33:56.380 You're the only violent person here, the way you talk, and the way you're racist.
00:33:59.380 Fascists and racists are never one.
00:34:01.380 Racists, fascists, blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah.
00:34:05.380 I was just threatened by that chick over there.
00:34:07.380 Do you want to talk again about racists?
00:34:09.380 No.
00:34:10.380 I see pro-ama.
00:34:11.380 I don't know.
00:34:12.380 Which is?
00:34:13.380 What do you think?
00:34:14.380 What are you doing?
00:34:15.380 What do I say?
00:34:16.380 You're for the resistance.
00:34:17.380 We're with resistance.
00:34:18.380 Yeah.
00:34:19.380 Who is the resistance?
00:34:20.380 The resistance.
00:34:21.380 The United Nations right of people.
00:34:24.380 Be careful, you have been arrested before.
00:34:29.380 Who likes to hit-up?
00:34:31.380 Yeah.
00:34:32.380 Well, it's basically a show of power in a Canadian park, and intimidation of jihadi sympathizers,
00:34:42.380 very aggressive men.
00:34:45.380 They like to put their hands on women.
00:34:47.380 Unfortunately, they don't realize that that's illegal in Canada.
00:34:50.380 One of them in particular was following me around, putting a light in my face, a camera in my face.
00:34:56.380 He's previously assaulted a police officer, and he previously swarmed me on October 7, 2024, which I filed a police report about.
00:35:07.380 I will say that I was very pleased by the police officers tonight who made an effort to intervene when the men began to swarm, well, both of us, again.
00:35:18.380 I'm uncertain if this is supposed to be a peaceful religious event, why there's such a high level of aggression.
00:35:25.380 So the...
00:35:26.380 Our streets! Our streets! Our streets! Our streets! Our streets! Our streets! Our streets!
00:35:33.380 We want to be heard. We want our voices to be heard.
00:35:35.380 I'm coming out here because of the love of me country and the love of the Lord.
00:35:38.380 We're at a boiling point, and there's no going back.
00:35:40.380 I mean, they're trying to bring in speech laws now to stop us from even coming out and standing.
00:35:45.380 We're only hearing a piece of a vote test. We're not here to do any harm, Danny.
00:35:49.380 Get our country back!
00:35:50.380 The Irish have had enough.
00:35:51.380 What family leaves their door open that says anybody can come in and later we'll see if you're safe for our kids or not?
00:35:57.380 I want to be heard against this government.
00:35:59.380 All my gracious, we'll be cutting out.
00:36:01.380 It's about profit and about destroying national identity.
00:36:04.380 And this crowd reflects the true feeling of Ireland, not the feeling of the NGO class and the political class, but the real people of Ireland.
00:36:14.380 That's why people are here. They just want to be safe in their own environment.
00:36:17.380 I don't want Ireland ending up like basically most of Europe, like Paris, like London.
00:36:24.380 What do you think about the way that the media portrays this demonstration?
00:36:28.380 The Irish trying to sweep everything under the carpets.
00:36:30.380 They don't portray it. They don't want the truth to be open.
00:36:32.380 The media portrays everybody to suit the narrative to divide people as far right.
00:36:37.380 Do we look like far right? We're army people of Ireland.
00:36:40.380 They are extreme left. The government is extreme left.
00:36:43.380 They're going to say there's about 2,000 people turned up.
00:36:45.380 They'll probably follow the exact same lines as they did last time because they have very little imagination.
00:36:50.380 They hide a lot now, so they do.
00:36:52.380 The media are walking for the devil.
00:36:54.380 I mean, they shouldn't be here to turn around and find out what the people want.
00:36:57.380 Like they do every other time, they'll totally ignore us.
00:37:00.380 They will concentrate on the counter protests.
00:37:02.380 They'll say there's something like a couple of hundred people here.
00:37:04.380 But these numbers are grown so huge that the mainstream media can no longer ignore it.
00:37:09.380 The mad lefties supporting everybody but Ireland.
00:37:12.380 You know, so you know what's right there on.
00:37:14.380 When migrant rights are under attack.
00:37:20.380 I mean, it's every day.
00:37:22.380 Groups coming across.
00:37:23.380 There's a group that come running through, nine of them.
00:37:26.380 I think we find finally a 90.
00:37:29.380 Total price.
00:37:31.380 80.
00:37:32.380 500,000 Haitians living in the U.S.
00:37:35.380 Setting them up for potential deportation.
00:37:37.380 So they're coming from Miami.
00:37:39.380 The majority of it is Haitian.
00:37:41.380 We'll strengthen our border security with 1,000 more CBSA officers.
00:37:46.380 In this report, we will show you that the border between the United States and Canada is being flooded with illegal migrants.
00:37:56.380 We've got the proof and we are going to show you.
00:37:59.380 CFIA is officially entering the premises after some negotiations about being able to serve the farmers in person.
00:38:10.380 Now the farmers are inside of the pen and have been and have agreed to be served.
00:38:16.380 Basically, it was if you don't, we're coming in the hard way.
00:38:19.380 Here they are right now.
00:38:21.380 So you've got some of these.
00:38:24.380 Katie, what's going through your mind right now, Katie?
00:38:28.380 It's life over death today.
00:38:30.380 We have a chance to stop it.
00:38:33.380 We have a chance to stop it.
00:38:36.380 Lay down your badges.
00:38:39.380 Say no.
00:38:40.380 It's all you have to do is say no.
00:38:42.380 Do you know the pain that you're causing?
00:38:44.380 Do you know the lives that you're going to kill?
00:38:47.380 Do you know the decades of life that is going to be taken away in dumpsters that's healthy?
00:38:53.380 It's healthy.
00:38:54.380 They're healthy.
00:38:55.380 They've never been tested.
00:38:56.380 Life or death.
00:38:57.380 Destruction over discovery.
00:38:59.380 Science over speculation.
00:39:02.380 Annabelle, we love you.
00:39:08.380 Frank, we love you.
00:39:11.380 Spunky, we love you.
00:39:15.380 You're feisty and you're fun.
00:39:18.380 You play with us when we do chores.
00:39:21.380 Sergeant Bilko, you're a fighter.
00:39:24.380 Did you get stuck on the other side of the pen?
00:39:29.380 No, he was on this side.
00:39:31.380 Recently?
00:39:32.380 Well, I had talked to him when we found him.
00:39:34.380 Breaking.
00:39:35.380 It sounds as though gunshots are being heard at the pen.
00:39:43.380 I had to fight my way to get back on the property near the farmers so I'm unable to film at this moment what's happening from the highway.
00:39:51.380 We're going to get to Katie right now as she reacts.
00:39:58.380 Please stop!
00:39:59.380 Stop!
00:40:00.380 You guys are killing, allowing, you're allowing healthy animals.
00:40:13.380 Our birds have a cure, a cure for your kids, a cure for your grandmother.
00:40:18.380 At least listen!
00:40:19.380 Our birds have a cure that they're killing.
00:40:20.380 Show respect!
00:40:21.380 Listen!
00:40:22.380 They're healthy animals.
00:40:23.380 When they are killing them right now.
00:40:25.380 Why are you cursing us?
00:40:26.380 We're breaking the Animal Health Act.
00:40:29.380 My birds are getting shot slowly and dying.
00:40:31.380 They're suffering.
00:40:32.380 They're not getting shot in the head.
00:40:34.380 They're not doing it humanely.
00:40:35.380 If they're sitting up on veils and shooting my birds, they are dying slowly.
00:40:40.380 You are guilty of breaking the Animal Health Act.
00:40:43.380 Each and every one of you are accountable.
00:40:46.380 These are healthy birds.
00:40:48.380 These are not sick animals.
00:40:49.380 They have been healthy for over a year.
00:40:52.380 They hold a cure for you, for your children.
00:40:56.380 You are allowing them to destroy science for crushing.
00:41:01.380 Initially in the night it was done in the dark so nobody would know.
00:41:04.380 And then you see a convoy of vehicles going in and out.
00:41:08.380 And then in the morning you hear another hundreds of shots because a lot of the birds didn't die.
00:41:13.380 So it wasn't done humanely.
00:41:16.380 More and more information is coming out about what happened.
00:41:20.380 And this has been going on for probably more than 15 years.
00:41:24.380 It's just that this finally went through the media.
00:41:27.380 And thank God for people like Rebel News.
00:41:30.380 Thank you.
00:41:33.380 Thank you for covering this because we need to let people know what's going on.
00:41:39.380 And farmers need to stand by each other.
00:41:41.380 And people need to stand by farmers.
00:41:43.380 We all need food to live.
00:41:45.380 At least let it be done humanely.
00:41:48.380 Thank you.
00:41:54.380 Let's be kind, loving, and we show them all what we can do against hate.
00:41:59.380 You know, we can stand up.
00:42:01.380 And tell everybody if they're very confused and say, well what can I do?
00:42:08.380 Well then I say, well you go to protest? No.
00:42:11.380 Then support the front leaders.
00:42:15.380 I am a super fan of Rebel News.
00:42:18.380 So I say support Rebel News.
00:42:20.380 Because these are our frontline workers and I talk to them.
00:42:24.380 And they're getting arrested.
00:42:25.380 They get spit on.
00:42:27.380 Drutters, the PLAP, anybody.
00:42:30.380 Support them.
00:42:31.380 Go $5, $10, whatever you can spare.
00:42:34.380 Because they have heavy, heavy costs.
00:42:36.380 They don't make money.
00:42:37.380 These are our leaders.
00:42:39.380 I thank you so much.
00:42:42.380 There have been a few surprises during my first months as Prime Minister.
00:42:47.380 For example, I hadn't expected to spend so much time dealing with wildlife.
00:42:52.380 Belugas.
00:42:54.380 Ostriches.
00:42:56.380 Premiers.
00:42:58.380 Except for.
00:43:01.380 The present company accepted, obviously.
00:43:03.380 Actually, there is no need for a mass call.
00:43:07.380 Because the Premiers and I are uniting around projects that will diversify our trade.
00:43:12.380 Unlock billions in new investment.
00:43:14.380 Create hundreds of thousands of high paying careers.
00:43:18.380 Or as the National Post headline put it.
00:43:21.380 Mark Carney fast tracks the road to serfdom.
00:43:25.380 I mean, you can't buy that kind of support.
00:43:32.380 Even if we do fund it.
00:43:36.380 It's true, Conrad.
00:43:38.380 It's true.
00:43:39.380 It's true.
00:43:40.380 Just the facts.
00:43:42.380 Helen's here.
00:43:43.380 It's got to be right.
00:43:44.380 I've got it.
00:43:45.380 Yeah.
00:43:46.380 Now.
00:43:47.380 Speaking of taxpayer funded purveyors and post-apocalyptic dystopia.
00:43:52.380 Yves Francois Blanchet and the block are in the house.
00:43:56.380 They want to wipe us all out though.
00:43:58.380 Because then there's nobody for these like dark lords to play with.
00:44:01.380 I feel like.
00:44:02.380 I don't think they want to wipe us all out.
00:44:03.380 But I think they want to keep us as controlled as possible.
00:44:06.380 As scared as possible.
00:44:07.380 You see what they did in Canada?
00:44:08.380 They just shot 300 ostriches for no reason.
00:44:11.380 Mm-mm.
00:44:12.380 Fuck.
00:44:13.380 And Canadians, dude.
00:44:14.380 Who also have very good posture.
00:44:15.380 Ostrich is probably great posture for a bird.
00:44:17.380 Would you say?
00:44:18.380 Well, they have that crazy neck.
00:44:19.380 Right.
00:44:20.380 They have to have that posture.
00:44:21.380 Otherwise, it'll fall down.
00:44:22.380 Yeah, but still.
00:44:23.380 Imagine if your neck was like three feet long.
00:44:25.380 That would be crazy.
00:44:26.380 Best posture I've ever seen in the world.
00:44:27.380 Michael!
00:44:28.380 Can you come out?
00:44:30.380 Resign!
00:44:31.380 Ma!
00:44:32.380 Can you sign?
00:44:33.380 Michael Ma!
00:44:34.380 Can you sign?
00:44:35.380 Michael Ma!
00:44:36.380 Can you sign?
00:44:37.380 My concern is if we don't rise up now.
00:44:40.380 The citizens don't rise up now.
00:44:42.380 This will continue to happen until certain agendas are accomplished.
00:44:50.380 So Michael Ma, you should resign.
00:44:53.380 People are so angry.
00:44:55.380 And you're a traitor to the Conservative Party.
00:45:00.380 You know, so resign and get it over with.
00:45:04.380 You voted for Michael Ma because he was a Conservative.
00:45:06.380 Exactly.
00:45:07.380 I didn't know him at all at the time because I support Conservatives.
00:45:12.380 I don't care who's the MP.
00:45:14.380 I vote for the Conservative.
00:45:17.380 But he took my vote to Liberal without my consent.
00:45:21.380 I'm so happy.
00:45:23.380 Australia was blessed with this modern-day Maccabee who spoke the word of God and spoke the truth.
00:45:32.380 Rabbi Schlanger is now dead.
00:45:36.380 But his message of truth will echo throughout the ages.
00:45:41.380 Are you seeing a lot of parallels with what's happening in Australia and here in Canada as well?
00:45:46.380 Absolutely.
00:45:47.380 I mean, it can happen right now for all we know.
00:45:53.380 It's devastating.
00:45:55.380 There's a great phrase.
00:45:56.380 I don't know who came up with it, but first they come for the Saturday people, then they come for the Sunday people.
00:46:01.380 Exactly.
00:46:02.380 Is there a reason that we're in the Jewish neighbourhood, the largest Jewish neighbourhood in Canada today after the first night of Hanukkah?
00:46:13.380 It's the girl of the Arab.
